20 Best Lip Balm For Toddlers (2023 Updated)

This is the only lipbalm that I have ever tried that actually works, which says a lot, since i’ve tried maybe 40 different lipbalms. After one try, to say I was obsessed is an understatement. What I love about Baby Lips is that it’s ultrahydrating and smooth, but it doesn’t feel too slippery or heavy.

The packaging is cute, maybe a bit childish. It stays on long, it really hydrates, it lasts a very long time since you don’t have to re-apply all the time. The price is great also! I would highly recommend.

I buy multiple amounts of this lip balm, I’m terrified they’ll stop making it. Not only does it care for your lips beautifully with its moisturising abilities. It just looks naturally amazing giving the most gorgeous subtle colour.

I must have been responsible for a good few sales as I get so many compliments, asking what expensive lipstick I’m wearing!! ❤️❤️.

I have this balm in the colour “Pink Lolita”. \nIt comes in a charming pink tube with white writing. The pink of the packaging is very similar to the pink of the actual product. The product winds up and down in the tube, which I personally love as it means that when I recap the product I don’t accidentally make a mess.

\nThe product is scented a sweet candy like flavour, however I don’t find it too sickly and I feel the scent fades as you wear it, which as someone sensitive to overly scented products I appreciate. \nThe balm goes on very smoothly without any drag onto the lips.

It feels very smooth and buttery on the lips, not waxy or sticky at all. The moisturising feel lasts for a long time for me. The lip balm is very shiney looking on the lips, however it doesn’t have any glitter or shimmer.

\nI really love the colour of this product. Its not overly different to my natural lip colour. So it’s there and adds an extra pink hue without being over the top. It gives a gloriously shiney look to the lips.

I love wearing it when I’ve popped on a natural makeup look and I don’t want to wear a lipstick but need something on my lips to look “done”. Its a great handbag staple too, as its really moisturising.

So even if I do a heavier makeup look, its good to have on hand for when my lips inevitably dry out. \nThe price is very reasonable, and the fact that you can buy it at most supermarkets and pharmacies on sale quite regularly, there is no reason not to splurge on multiple.

Fun, taste, fruit scented lip balm with sheer tint. I’ve lived the brand for so long, and these aren’t pricey at all. I loved on all the different Lip Smackers as a teenager. I still really enjoy them now.

My favorite was the one in the tube, with a wand, in Vanilla Cake Batter. It smelled/tasted just like vanilla cake! I’m not huge on vanilla, but this smelled divine, and it was really shimmery/fine glittery.

I use it over the lipstick I’m wearing, in the center of my lips and it’s SO pretty! I wear it alone a,lot too. These Original stick lip balm are also great for kid’s that want to try makeup.

I’m 46 years old. I grew up with Lip Smackers. Where did the big roll on lip gloss with the ball go? Those were the best. The strawberry on this smells and tastes good, the cotton candy doesn’t smell like much.

The watermelon is the reason I got it, it has a strong smell but not as a yummy watermelon smell I would expect. The watermelon was disappointing. If I got any of them in the future, it would be the strawberry by itself.

I love these when I was a kid and I still do because they have great smell and they are somewhat long lasting. I would improve it with making it fully long lasting and I also would make it more dehydrating but I still love it to this day once in a while and would recommend it to kids and also adult who the smell of product because that’s one of the reason I really like it.

My daughters are 2 years old and 4 years old and they loved these, they thought they were so cute. But they fought over the lip gloss a lot. It was kind of messy for the 2 year old, but worked great for my 4 year old.

My 5 year old daughter and her friend loved these fun lip balms. Very easy to apply, smell good and arent messy. They show just a good amount of gloss for young girls, color is barely noticeable or very soft looking.

Very cute lip gloss from Lip Smacker! I’d say it’s more of a balm than a gloss though. I also this is more of a novelty item being the actual product itself will probably not last very long. Regardless, I bought for my daughter’s stocking this Christmas because of the unicorn and how cute it is! I figured she might be more willing to use it because of the cute animals.

The unicorn balm is not a rainbow color like it shows in the packaging picture, a little disappointed by that. I think this product is still well worth buying!.

I like the cartoon heads. I was disappointed when I accidentally dropped and flipped the lid. The chapstick was smashed to where the lid shaved off half of the product. No longer able to close/open appropriately.

Waste of money if they get damaged. I managed to open and snap off the head and place in my cabinet. The chapstick is okay but the design of container sucks. Eos twist caps or regular sticks are better.

Received this lip smacked as a gift because I adore Minnie Mouse and am so disappointed in the product. It is the worst design I have ever seen. The product is so difficult to open and there was no way to “flip it†to reveal the lip balm like it claims.

This pack is Adorable. I used them as part of my Son’s Valentines for his daycare. They smell great. The colors are bright and fun. There is boy & girl geared tubes. My kids loved smelling them all. They go on nice and don’t have coloring.

My daughter loved these Lip Smackers. The Hello Kitty characters on the tubes won her over before even trying them. She loved the Choco-late Nice Cream and Sweet Strawberry Shake the best. All of the flavors in this pack are really good.

I had been introduced to this product while attending my dentist office. They, unfortunately, quit giving it in their bag after teeth cleaning. I was using the last tube I had when my five-year-old granddaughter was visiting.

Awesome lip balm. I’ve used these for years. Used to be easier to find at the dollar store or vending machines but I’m happy to be able to buy them here on eBay. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the packaging is adorable and I love that the product is colorful and easy to find in my purse! The formula itself is a clear balm, with a little scent and flavor.

The flavor was not easy to pinpoint for me. I want to say it was almost like a banana/vanilla pudding, which is super specific (I know) but that’s what it reminded me of! The product applies easily and if comfortable on the lips.

I wore it to bed a few times and woke up with very soft lips. The balm also wears eel under lipstick and liquid lipstick. I am definitely a fan and I absolutely prefer it to basic chapstick.

The hello unicorn vegan lip balm glides on smooth and has a fruity sent, although not overwhelming. It stays on fairly long, except with eating and drinking. It keeps your lips hydrated during wear, but I felt my lips were dry once it wore off, so I did not feel it provided long lasting hydration.

The applicator is a good size and you do not need much product, so I feel it will last a long time. It goes on very thin, almost wet, which I don’t love. The applicator is cute and colorful. This a a good lip balm for anyone.

I’m giving it 4 stars for it being thin on my lips, I prefer other lip balms for that reason. Bottom line is I would recommend giving it a try!.

I was hoping that this one is not petroleum based. It is. Since Kiehls does not disclose fully its products’ content online, I could not have known it by looking at its website. I am allergic to beeswax and do not like petroleum based lip balm, which tends to make my lips peel.

I have been looking for lip balm without beeswax or petroleum in a convenient stick form. I have been using 100% shea butter (I bought for body) for my lips and I thought this lip balm with shea butter would be convenient to carry in my purse.

Texture is nice, not too greasy or waxy. But it tends to dry out quite fast. It is not terrible, but for $9 I expected something better.

We ordered this because the other lip balm was out of stock but we ended up being pleasantly surprised. Love that it doesn’t feel sticky and has no smell, which is nice. Love this product!

Baby Lips Crystal Moisturizing Lip Balm in Peppermint is one of my all time favorite lip balms to use year round. I do specifically favor it more during the cooler months because my lips tend to chap a lot easier and the peppermint soothes my lips without being overwhelming.

I love to keep multiples of this product so I have it everywhere I go. One for my purse, one for my car, one for my desk at work. I love that my youngest can use it without it being so strong that it burns her.

The product itself has a nice smooth, glossy feel without being heavy and cakey. I hate cakey feeling lip balms. Some lip balms also leave like a residue feeling on the lips but this product does not.

One of the only things I don’t like is that I have cracked the plastic cover multiple times in ways I feel like shouldn’t have resulted in a crack. Never the less, I highly recommend this product and love to give it as a gift in stockings at Christmas as a stocking stuffer.

You can never have too many lip balms, especially not a peppermint one in the winter. It is soul soothing to have that cooling effect on my lips when I need it the most. As far as what I would have liked to know before I bought this product, I think it would be just how addictive this product is.

I literally have no complaints aside from the top cracking a few times.

This product was one of the last lip balms with petrolatum that I tried before confirming that my lips couldn’t stand that particular ingredient. While I’m glad it works well for others, I personally experience peeling and further dryness rather than the cooling relief that the peppermint scent suggests.

I also don’t find the texture to be appealing; I don’t like products with heavy amounts of petroleum, wax, and polybutene, whose molecules are too large to penetrate and therefore sit like a film on top of my lips rather than absorbing comfortably.

For some, these occlusive moisturizers can be excellent protective barriers to lock in moisture that is already there, but they can make chapped lip issues worse for many people like myself. What works for me is Dr.

Bronner’s Organic Lip Balm Naked (light blue tube). It only contains avocado oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, hemp oil, and vitamin E. The beeswax is a humectant rather than an occlusive so it’s much more comfortable on the lips, and as the sole sealant ingredient, it provides proportionate protection while all the other ingredients work to improve and enhance my lips’ natural moisture.

I’ve been an enormous fan of Maybelline baby lips balm for quite some time. As in some years now. And yes since the very first time I ever tried it. No matter which one you try they go on so buttery smooth and smell fantastic.

They also stay on really well. They are thick enough to stick to the lips without making everything else stick to your lips somehow! Thank God just the right amount of tint color to them so that you feel girly and pretty without feeling like you’re trying to sound out too much.

I’m seriously in love with this. Did I mention that they have the greatest scent ever to them? I mean just yummy yummy yummy! And talk about soft as a baby’s bum except these are your lips and I can pretty much promise anybody else would find them better than the baby’s bum once you glide on any member of the Maybelline baby lips balm family! This is the second set of lip balm I got for my daughter. We live in a state where winters are pretty harsh so she has chapped lips every now and then, and this product has been really great. The fragrance is mild and lovely.

So far I have been using the orange and vanilla lip balm. This is usually my favorite scent/ flavor combination so I was excited to try it. I like the balm a lot. It works very well. But it’s not my favorite balm I’ve used.

I feel that the scent/ flavor could last a little longer. After using and loving the bath bombs and being blown away by how scenty they are, I guess I expected a little more flavor. (By the way, I keep the empty bath bomb boxes in my linen closet to keep it smelling fresh!).

I purchased the strawberry one and I love the flavour! What really intrigued me about this though was the inclusion of vitamin a and vitamin c derivatives (for a gentle and mild exfoliation of the lips) and the spf.

I would say as far as spa the protection is not ideal, the same brand has lip balms that offer 25 spf so if that is your main concern go with those one, but I bought it for the strawberry flavour! By boyfriend loves it.

Love this little lip balm! I usually really dislike all Vaseline products as it has this strong Vaseline taste and doesn’t feel comfortable on my lips. So for years I was using La Mer lip balm as it doesn’t have bad taste and feels great on my lips.

Recently I decided to try something new And I tried dr. Bronners lip balm, and it’s amazing! I was spending all that money on La Mer when we have great lip balm for little price! I fell in love with it from the first time and have ordered 3 more right away! Will definitely purchase in the future, my lips feels hydrated, super soft and it barely has any taste in it! Its heavy on the pocket for sure. but it really does an amazing job. there is mild to no fragrance which is great (who wants toddlers to wear fragrant lipbalms anyways). you can see the difference in a day or 2 itself.

so far I use it as a medicine that is only when my kids lips are cracked and it really heals well. no discoloration or blackening of the lips. go for it.
