20 Best Lip Balm For Kissing (2023 Updated)

I absolutely love this lip balm!!! I’ve tried most of the other flavors and they’re not bad, but this one is perfect!!! It’s the perfect shade for my lips given the fact that I was looking for a lip balm that blended in more with the color of my lips and this one does the job.

It taste good and keeps my lips so moisturized throughout the day. I only wish I had money for more right now as I’m currently out. 😪 In time I will be getting more and I’ll be sure to order multiply single one’s of the tropical coconut so that I don’t run out again.

I constantly have dry/chapped lips and it’s extremely frustrating, but not when I’m wearing this. 5 Star product for sure. Give it a try! It won’t disappoint!!!.

My new favorite chap stick! I bought Strawberry and Berry. Strawberry was a little light, but the Berry was nearly perfect! I wish they had a slightly darker shade, but this is still the best tinted moisturizer I’ve ever found.

It’s buildable, smells like the color (Berry smells like berries, etc. ), and it lasts better than most lipsticks I’ve tried! Don’t need a mirror to reapply, and it wears off very slowly, even with eating, so it’s not embarrassing like lipstick is when it wears off during meals.

I will be buying this again and seeing what other shades I can find elsewhere!.

I have really dry and pale lips, so I’m always on the hunt for a good tinted lip balm. This is not it. The first thing I noticed was how strong of a scent this stuff has; I got the Berry Burst flavor and my fiancé could smell it while he was sitting next to me.

That wouldn’t be the worst thing if it actually smelled good, but the scent is weird, artificial, and cheap smelling. it reminds me of those Lip Smackers balms I used to get from Claire’s when I was in elementary school lol.

not sexy. But the biggest problem is the hydration factor, or lack thereof. It’s little more than a thin, slippery coating that sits on top of my lips rather than actually absorbing into them and hydrating.

Unless I want berry-scented flakes on my lips, I have to apply a far more hydrating clear balm first, which pretty much defeats the purpose of a tinted balm. A tinted balm should be a one stop shop, something you can quickly swipe on before running out the door.

The color is a nice, healthy, reddish-pink, but that’s not enough to make up for this product’s lack of quality elsewhere.

I bought this product on a whim, as I wanted to try something new. I would say that this lip balm has a heavy, “baked goods” base note scent/undertone that doesn’t actually smell much like the original moisturiser range (the moisturiser smell is much sweeter and lighter).

I also found that my lips were starting to flake after some use. It didn’t appear to be any sort of allergic reaction, just that it wasn’t as hydrating and more of a beeswax based film. I don’t think I will repurchase as it is not nearly as hydrating and lacks many of the humectant ingredients other true balms have.

It seems more like a fun lip balm that is trying to live up to the brand hype, rather than a decent product in its own right. It’s basically just a big adult Lip Smacker dupe. At this price point, I would expect genuine quality.

It might be a nice one-off “stocking stuffer” style gift for someone else, but there are far more effective lip balms that are actually worth the money.

I took a pic of my backup one, so you could get a good image of what the product looks like because my used one looks sad. Anyway, I must say that I adore the original Bum Bum Cream. I love the scent, the texture and creaminess, and how hydrated it keeps my skin.

After using that when it came out, I started trying every Sol de Janeiro product when it launched. I didn’t like anything as much as that cream, including this Brazilian Kiss. I actually don’t know how I ended up with two.

It’s basically a wide chapstick (more like Burt’s Bee’s) with a slight scent reminiscent of the original Bum Bum. It has good ingredients such as: Capuaçu Butter, plant oils and aloe, so I expected it to be way more hydrating.

But, for me, it’s not. Like I said in the subject like, it’s just “ok”. It is big and would last a long time and it’s reasonably priced, so for people who like Burt’s Bee’s, etc. then you should check this out.

If those aren’t hydrating enough for you, then pass.

If you are a fan of Sol De Janeiro products this is a must-try. The first thing that will surprise you is it’s size. Forget standard size balms; this is closer to a glue stick. Some have complained about the length of balm in the tube, but you must take circumference into account.

This is twice as wide as a standard balm. A standard chapstick is 4 grams and this is 6. 2. The second thing that will hit you is it’s smell. It smells absolutely amazing. Glides right on. Good longevity and leaves lips very soft.

This can repair damage to dry lips. After buying one I immediately purchased another as I wanted one for my work desk and another for my bag. I’m sure going forward I will never be without one of these.

I bought the original color and absolutely love it. I have normally fair skin but I self tan occasionally too. This looks great with my fair skin and with my faux tan. I love the slight tingly/cooling feeling when I put this on.

It doesn’t burn at all like some plumpers. I didn’t notice drastic plumping like items that are typically more burning feeling but my lips feel ultra hydrated. I love putting this on after I’ve used a matte lip color because they can tend to be more drying on my lips.

It’s thick but not sticky feeling. I love that my hair doesn’t get caught in it and I really appreciate the large applicator. This is definitely a gloss for everyone and one that you can use all year long alone or with another product.

I have not tried any of the other colors but this one is a must have for any makeup kit.

I bought this completely on a whim online from Sephora hoping to find a more convenient lip balm to use on a daily basis that was more portable and had better ease of use than my Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask.

I didn’t expect I was actually going to fall in love with it! I’ve always struggled to find balms and treatments that actually hydrate my lips instead of just sitting on top. I didn’t have high expectations or hopes for this product but was so pleasantly surprised that it delivered on its promise to hydrate, soften, and smooth the lips.

My lips look the healthiest they have this entire winter. I like that the formula is tacky enough to stay put for hours but is not like a typical gloss that is overly sticky. It even stays put throughout the night and my lips feel great in the morning.

Love the applicator as it’s so easy to apply and the smell is also amazing. Definitely will be repurchasing in some of the other shades!.

I was just thinking I would stop getting tempted of using this brand because they’re basic character ones were getting a bit too waxy not moisturizing enough. Well this product changed my mind. I would continue to buy this for as long as they make it (hopefully forever)! This formula is really nice.

Goes on smooth feels very moisturizing. Not too waxy not like lipgloss. This is the perfect lip balm on the market. The size of the tube it nice too. It’s bigger than normal. Having the extra spf makes it a great day time lip balm.

The scent/flavor is really great too! It smells addicting doesn’t taste bad, which I cannot say for all lip balms out there. I have the normal strawberry one.

I have to say, I was already giving it a negative review since I first had a glance at it. Thought Lipsmackers would create another chapstick that would not deliver healing to my chronic lips. Ive tried EVERYTHING! I bought lip scrubs, moisturizers, all types of chapsticks, you name it! I really love how minty this lip balm is and the moment you deliver it to your lips you get a very nice tingly/cooling feeling.

I wear this chapstick at home and before i go to bed. I make sure I put a lot on my lower lip since thats my chapped/bleeding/cracked lip. In the next morning my lips have been greatly moisturized! I noticed for my lips when they are very bad, skin on my lips have to be ripped off so that the skin underneath can come out.

This lip balm really moisturizes my lower lip and by the next morning, I was removing my dead skin off my lips (using a circular or swipe motion with a tissue) so that the skin underneath can be seen.

This lip balm saved my life! I cant wait to tell peope about it and how it really helps my lips! Hope Lipsmackers do not remove this item and keeps it forever!.

This lip smacker is the best hydrating lip therapy I have ever used. My lips get extremely dry and this balm has been my saviour. I have tried many of the flavours but the Eucalyptus Mint is my favourite.

It is cooling and pleasant on the lips and I highly recommend this product.

A friend of mine gave me this product because I am absolutely obsessed with lip balm and I have tried so many but they just never seem to actually heal my lips they only put a Band-Aid on the problem so to say.

So far I am very pleased with this product and of course it has a minty smell and flavor which is pleasing. I feel like it’s also good for other dry patches like knuckles and elbows.

Amazing product! It soothes my lips almost instantly and doesn’t feel dry after a while like does. It really does revitalize the lips and repairs your lips. I’ve been using it for months and almost cry whenever I can’t find the tub.

This product works so well for chapped lips. The peppermint oil also adds some plumping effect to the lips. My lips look amazing and this preps the lips for matte lipsticks wonderfully. A must for liquid lipsticks prepping!.

I purchased the balm as a ‘on the go’ sort of product since I prefer matte lipsticks to glosses and while I found it useful to a degree it’s not a perfect product. I do enjoy the apple-y taste and smell of this balm; you’ll most likely end up eating it at some point in the day.

The sugar crystals are indeed fine, and create a lovely smooth feel to my lips once used, however I find I need a wet toilette or paper towel to wipe my lips afterwards to take it off, otherwise my lips stay very sticky; not great if you’re doing this before putting on a lipstick.

All in all it’s a solid purchase but one I wouldn’t make in the future, I’d really reccommend Lise Watier’s better product Magnifix Lips which is a lip primer.

I’ve been using this product for several months now and am quite happy with it. While I don’t think this is a must have, it is a wonderful treat for your lips. It moisturizes quite well, and the sugar crystals do a decent job at removing dry skin.

I like to wear this underneath other lip products or even on its own. I love that this product isn’t sticky and smells nice. If you have incredibly dry lips that need through exfoliation, this product probably won’t be enough for you, but it does work for those in need of mild exfoliation.

Been using this lip balm for more than 15 years. I always have one in my purse and one in my bathroom, next to my toothbrush. Salicylic acid helps by exfoliating my lips, and the petrolatum keeps the moisture sealed in.

I apply it right after brushing my teeth and I don’t need to reapply until the next time I brush my teeth. In the morning, I rub my lips with a towel and the dead skin cells come right off. I’ve tried so many lip balms, and Carmex still provides the smoothest base for lipstick/tint.

Important when using matte lipsticks. I’m not sensitive to lanolin, menthol, or camphor, and I enjoy the cooling, tingling sensation this lip balm leaves. If you are highly allergic, then best avoid this.

This strawberry is my favorite out of all the flavors available. I like the fact that it has SPF 15, but I’m not sure how well it really protects. This stick is also my favorite version. The tube doesn’t seem to moisturize as well, and the tin is not as sanitary.

I will still keep on trying new lip balms, but I’ll always have Carmex as back up. Sometimes, price doesn’t mean that we’re getting the best, and this seems to be true with lip balms. The cheaper ones work better! During winter, I top it off with Aquaphor, for extra protection.

Carmex really is an addiction. Just like coffee, caffeine and cigarettes. I’m one of the unlucky ladies with a Carmex addiction. I don’t find myself unlucky unless I don’t have any and can’t leave to get any.

I have to have it! I’ve been using lipliner lately and I apply it to my lips like lipstick and put a little Carmex over the front and you wouldn’t believe how cute lipliner/carmexâ„¢ï¸ is. Anyways, I never get any cold sores in the winter or summer time.

I’ve got the softest lips ever because their ALWAYS Hydrated with carmex. That’s my problem with trying to buy a lipstick or a lip gloss because I can’t stop wearing my Carmex anything else I wipe off immediately and I apply my carmex no matter how much I paid for it! Carmex can be used when you have a cold or blow your nose too much put a dab under your nose rub it in and it’ll heal up soon and it won’t hurt anymore.

Whoever made Carmex deserves everything because it’s the best thing to apply to your lips don’t apply chapstick, Carmex is the only thing that works. I love the smell, I don’t care for the taste when I put too much on but, I’m used to it! If I was stuck on an island a tub of Carmex would be on my list.

Not the scented new kinds either. Only the original Carmex formula! II prefer the jars or sticks.

This is the only lip care treatment that I trust use on a daily. I keep multiple tubes sticks of Carmex in my purse, the diaper bag, my makeup bag (the mint one in the photo) multiple ones in my car for me and my kids.

So Before I realized that I needed to drink more water I went through a ton of lip care brands (eg: “Chapstick “ etc) trying to moisturize my lips to no avail. Carmex is the only brand that is worthy of my repeat business.

My lips get super dry and white and Carmex is the only brand that has a formula that doesn’t just sit ON TOP of your lips, it actually goes deep moisturizes below the surface of your lips. I will FOREVER swear by this brand.

Did I mention that the moisture is long lasting? Ugh! It’s so perfect because my lips are my most favorite part of my face.

MY. FAVORITE. LIP. BALM. This color is gorgeous and really adds a little color to perk your face up even if you are not wearing much or any other makeup! The product is shaped less circular and more oval which I like also, it’s easier to get the ball on your lips instead of all around them like with some over lip balms!.

Decent lip balm, I didn’t see the color really pop or even show on my lips. Which i am fine with because I am not a fan of lots of attention to my lips! I felt like it was a kind of basic lip balm not bad but not the best I have used.

It was originally 8 dollars but I got it on sale, not sure that I would regularly buy this product on sale or full price!.

The product packaging is adorable. The smell is of a very light vanilla and the price is reasonable. It goes on with very sheer color that doesn’t slip or melt, not greasy. It makes your lips softer but I feel myself reapplying often.

I’m not sure if this product has been discontinued now as it’s not appearing on the website anymore. I was able to write this review by clicking the email I got asking to review my purchases. If this is the case, I am glad I went and bought another one after I tried the first one I bought, though if I’d known I would’ve bought more! I like this type of lip balm; stick that rises as you turn the bottom.

I loved the idea of having a balm that wasn’t super shiny that might be also good for wearing under lipstick to keep my lips moisturised. I don’t think it’s possible for any lip balm to have zero shine.

It would be like a matte lipstick and not at all hydrating if it was shine-free. But it certainly isn’t noticeable shiny. It is definitely moisturising and feels lovely on the lips. I love the hint of mint, too.

I hope they bring this back, perhaps renamed as “lip balm for anyone”, not just men. If it’s to make men feel more comfortable if they feel judged for using a “beauty product” then keep it as is until it’s common knowledge that such products are unisex.

My teenage son suffers from very dry lips and refuses to use lip balm because of the “shiny” effect. Pleased when I saw this one, but wasn’t sure how it was going to work. Added it to my bag to get free postage and so glad i did.

He is happy to apply this when he is out (not just at home when no-one can see him). The dark blur tube works well for him too. It seems to do the job-just as well as many others, granted, but this is the one he will use.

My favorite lip balm reformulated to a much grainier texture, so I’ve been on the hunt for a good equivalent product. I generally dislike peppermint oil in lip balm, but all the other ingredients ticked the right boxes, so I took a chance on this.

I’m very glad I did, because the texture is spot on- smooth and sinks in, without being greasy. The mint is mild and doesn’t burn. I will miss my two buck Nivea Balm, but the Kiehl’s certainly feels worth the expense.

I needed a chapstick with SPF in it and the sephora person led me to this, it was one of the only ones with SPF in the store, which is important to protect your lips from the sun. I have hyperpigmentation on my bottom lip so protecting it from the sun is important.

i’ve been using it for a few days now and i love it! i also have eczema which has negatively affected my bottom lip, it has flare ups and burns, has irritation, and peels randomly and sometimes it can happen based on the product I use.

BUT NOT THIS TIME! I have not dealt with any of that ! its a gloss when you put it on but when the gloss disappears my lips still feel moisturized. I have also NOT dealt with any white residue from the spf, and im brown skin (like kelly rowland).

Ummm. Yes to everything happening with this lip balm. It smells like 90s bath and body works’ vanilla brown sugar fragrance. The consistency is a little thicker than the Fenty gloss bombs, but not as thick as Vaseline or Vanicream lip products.

Appearance wise, this looks like a less shimmery and less pigmented cross between Fenty (gloss bombs) hot chocolit and Fenty glow. The only downside is that this product won’t last for hours and needs to be reapplied, but I guess that’s a good way to motivate folks to reapply spf.

All in all, incredibly impressed with this product and will be recommending to my friends.

I just discovered Pacifica yesterday, on a Target run. I bought the hair-body spray and this lip balm, ten bucks for both. I usually use unscented lip cream, but got some EOS lip balm for my birthday which I thought felt good on my lips but the over-powering scent (flavor) literally burned my throat.

So I was just checking out my options. I came across this lip balm, I will try watermelon anything, it’s a weakness. Got it home, opened it up and was kinda bummed that it had such a sickeningly sweet scent.

I put it on my lips, and prepared to wipe it off in a few minutes when my throat (inevitably) started to swell. Ok, wow, that didn’t happen. Lip Smackers, Chapstick, EOS, Dr. Bronner’s, Blistek…etc these have all caused a reaction in my throat.

I have been wearing this nonstop since buying it yesterday with no adverse effects, whatsoever. I actually can’t want to try some of the other scents/flavors. Give it a try!!.

I am HUGE on lip balms, ointments, salves, etc. I have always been into soft lips without a build up or film on the lips. Really picky about hydration and how a product works. This balm for me was great! I have a top 5 lol, and this made it in.

It is super smooth on the lips with a nice buttery feel and adds so much moisture and hydration. I have also found that it is wonderful at breaking down any dead skin on the lip if you leave it on for a bit.

I use it ALL DAY long and will sometimes choose to put this on at night. Overall the texture, formula and smell (omg smells so good if you like watermelon) are an A+ for me! Now I have to repurchase the rest of the scents/flavors.

I adore the Pacifica line of lip balms and have bought them as gifts for people who ended up preferring these over most store bought lip balms, and this one is no exception. The light shine it adds and the potent jojoba oil are fantastic for wearing any time.

The packaging is sweet, too! Where I do find the fragrance favorable, it does overwhelm me after a bit. I did like the gentleness of the Bali Coconut more. This is more of a sunny outdoor day kind of balm!.

This product is new to me, and I always read through the negative reviews first before purchasing any new product b/c it tells me what repeat issues folks may be having that I might want to look out for.

W/this one, it was upset over a reformulation, and the taste. As far a reformulation, I see this kind of upset with every single cosmetic product from every brand that is reformulated to be cleaner and reef safe.

Im all for clean beauty, and as an owner of a reef tank and avid saltwater aquarium hobbyist, I have a particularly special interest in protecting our reefs, so I’m thankful these products are being made with this in mind and have no complaints.

I’ve been using this balm daily since receiving it — both under lip gloss and on its own — and I honestly love it. I don’t taste anything unless I touch my tongue to my lips, which is not something I normally do.

Even so, the taste doesn’t bother me — some folks may be more sensitive to this than I am. It feels so smooth and moisturizing on my lips, and my lips look plump and nice. I’ve even begun wearing it to bed along with my normal evening skincare routine, and am very happy with how it leaves my lips soft and plump with moisture.

Very disappointed in the new formula. Let me tell you – I LOVED the old formula. I continued to buy the old formula until I noticed they were all expired (you could get them on sites like Walmart, etc.

). I had heard the new formula wasn’t as great so I was apprehensive to switch but finally decided it was time. I finally switched and all the things I heard were true. It tastes awful and it hardly lasts! And part of why it doesn’t last is because I want it off my lips asap because it gets in my mouth and tastes like sunscreen.

It also goes on thicker than the previous formula and it is quite sticky. At least I enjoyed the good one for several years but now back to the drawing board for a new go-to everyday lip balm.

First of all, this is a petrolatum based lip balm, which is a safe dermatologist recommended ingredient and one of the most researched at that. I’ll never understand how “health conscious” people will cause such a scare over petrolatum and parabens, then douse their skin in highly irritating ingredients like lemon or lavender oil that will lead to skin issues.

Petrolatum is not an ingredient you need to be scared of. When it comes to lip balms, you want an thicker barrier because the skin on your lips is much thinner than the skin on your face, which is also why the SPF 30 is appreciated.

Skin cancer of the lips is more common than people think, and an area we need to protect just as much as our face. I do wish that this was a mineral instead of chemical though. Not because chemical sunscreens are harmful.

They’re not, but because there’s an increased risk of irritation even if you may not experience irritation from chemical sunscreens on the face/body. I had no issues with this lip balm, but I gave a friend the same one and she experienced irritation around her lips due to the chemical sunscreens even though she uses a chemical sunscreen on her face.

Again, the the lips are highly sensitive due to how thin the skin is. I’m guessing they went chemical because it’s easier to fit into cosmetic formulas and doesn’t leave any white cast. For me, it’s not a deal breaker because my lips tolerate them fine, but if you’re sensitive to chemical sunscreens, then it’s something to consider.

Other than that, great product.

Eins vorab – es liegt nicht daran, dass es sich hier um vermeintliche Mogelverpackung handelt. Ja, es gibt viel Leerraum in der Tube, aber diesen gibt es auch bei den traditionellen Lippenbalsamen in der Plastikverpackung, nur dass man dort diesen nicht sieht bzw.

man braucht ihn, um den Stift ein- und ausziehen zu können. Bei dieser Verpackung aus Karton kann man den Stift leider nur rausdrücken. Wenn man zu viel rausgedrückt hat, hat man eben Pech gehabt, weil er nicht mehr reingeht.

Ansonsten hat dieses Produkt mit 5g gleich viel bzw. sogar etwas mehr Inhalt als die Standardstifte, die meistens 4,8g Produkt enthalten. Mein zweites Problem mit diesem Stift ist seine Größe. Er ist sehr breit und seine Oberfläche konkav, was irgendwie überhaupt nicht der üblichen Lippenform entspricht und der Auftrag ist daher schwierig.

Ich trage immer zu viel auf oder an den Lippen vorbei. Übrigens ist die Konsistenz des Balsams auch so dicht und nicht-einziehend, dass ich nach dem Auftrag immer ein Fremdkörpergefühl auf den Lippen habe, als hätte ich sie einfach dick mit Vaseline beschmiert.

Und trotz der ausgewiesenen Duftrichtung “Vanilla” duftet und schmeckt der Balsam sehr neutral. Meine letzte und größte Kritik betrifft aber den total überzogenen Preis. Vegane Lippenbalsame gibt es schon ab 99 ct und ich sehe daher überhaupt keine Berechtigung für den fast vierfachen Preis bei gleicher Menge des Produkts.

Vor allem wird man damit die Kunden kaum zum nachhaltigeren Kaufverhalten bewegen können. Würde dieser Stift rund 2 EUR kosten, würde ich die restlichen Kritikpunkte vielleicht verschmerzen können im Namen der Umwelt und des fairen Handels, aber fast 4 EUR für ein Produkt das auf keiner Linie so richtig überzeugt ist einfach zu viel.

Leider sind diese jedoch normalerweise immer in Plastik verpackt; nicht so bei dieser Lippenpflege von i+m, bei der die Verpackung komplett aus Papier besteht. Wer sich diese Verpackung ausgedacht hat, hat wirklich ganze Arbeit geleistet! Der Mechanismus (mit einem Finger hochschieben und mit den Lippen wieder reindrücken) ist zwar zuerst ungewohnt, funktioniert jedoch einwandfrei, auch nach mehrmaliger Benutzung bzw.

bis zum letzten Rest des Stiftes. Ich habe bereits 2 dieser Lippenpflegestifte geleert (restlos!) und habe schon Nr. 3 in Gebrauch – ich denke, das sagt am besten aus, wie begeistert ich von diesem Produkt bin.

Die Lippenpflege schmeckt und riecht sehr unaufdringlich (fast schade, da ich ein Vanille-Fan bin :D) und haftet 1a an den Lippen, d. h. sie fühlt sich nicht schmierig an, sondern eher wachsig und man hat das Gefühl, dass sie wirklich etwas bringt bzw.

auch eine Weile auf den Lippen haftet, ohne, dass man nachcremen muss. Kaputte Lippen habe ich diesen Winter jedenfalls weitaus seltener als noch im letzten Winter 🙂 Noch zur Verpackung: Da einige hier “bemängeln”, dass es sich um eine Mogelpackung handelt, möchte ich erwähnen, dass dem definitiv NICHT so ist! Anstatt diese Annahme aufgrund der Form und Länge des Produktes zu tätigen (wirkt insgesamt kleiner, da der Stift breiter und kürzer ist als andere), sollte man sich einmal die Mengenangabe anschauen.

Es sind 5g Produkt enthalten! In jedem anderen Lippenpflegestift befinden sich zumeist 4,7 – 4,9g Inhalt. Wenn überhaupt, bekommt man bei dieser Lippenpflege von i+m also eher MEHR als bei der Konkurrenz.

Ich wollte es nur erwähnen, weil ich es wirklich schade fände, wenn man aufgrund einiger irreführenden Bewertungen, diesem super tollen Lippenpflegestift keine Chance gibt. Super Produkt, dass ich immer wieder kaufen werde! :).

Z. B. muss man den Stift nicht mit dem Finger zurückschieben. a) muss man ihn erst gar nicht soweit rausschieben b) falls doch mal passiert: an die Lippen halten und zurückdrücken – dann ist auch nicht “unhygienisch”.

Dass man natürlich mit dem Finger von unten nachdrücken muss, ist einfach logisch: das Ding ist plastikfrei, also hat es auch keine Schraubmechanik. Was mich allerdings zu den 4 Sternen bringt – jetzt geht es auch wirklich ums Produkt – ist, dass es nach meinem Empfinden weniger gut pflegt als der orangefarbene Lipbalm (mit Sheabutter und Jojobaöl bzw.

-wachs). Der Duft ist super, er schmeckt so ungefähr nach nichts, lässt sich super geschmeidig auftragen, aber pflegt eben nicht so gut wie der andere Lipbalm des Herstellers. Schade, Abwechslung wäre echt cool gewesen =).

So I’ve tried nice products before since the drug store is semi limited to Vaseline, jergens, okay etc. And figures it was worth a shot. I had used there in shower moisturizer and body soap and loved them! So after receiving the Nice Creme Voxbox thanks to Influenster’s I was excited to dive into this super luxe body cream! Especially because it’s a winter wonderland on the east coast and the cold weather, chilly wind, snow, and constant dry heat being circulated througu out my home always keeps my skin from being it’s natural self.

I figured this crene would help moisturizer and hydrate my skin. but I’m not so happy with it. First the smell. super nice fragrance but it becomes overwhelming for me after a few uses and a few hours of wear.

not my go to smell. 2nd and what really turned me off was the way it didn’t sink into my skin and absorb. it left a heavy feel to the places I applied it and never really soaked into my limbs. just kinda set on top.

and 3rdly I am not impressed by the price. it’s isn’t cheap or expensive for the amount you get. but I didn’t really see any results because I couldn’t get over the smell and the fact that it felt like I was wearing a Nivea Snowsuit after I applied.

Not impressed. Won’t purchase or recommend.

The blue Nivea lip balm (I think it’s the original) is one of the only lip balms I purchase. In the winter I usually buy several impulse lip balms at a time and I used to try all different brands and flavors etc, until I found the best ones in their class.

When it comes to drugstore/supermarket beauty purchases, most Nivea lip balms are not my favorite because a lot of them wear too quickly or taste weird if you get them in your mouth (I don’t mean licking your lips either lol).

The blue one is perfect though because it doesn’t have much scent or taste and stays on a decent amount of time. The price is much better than some of the Blistex or fancier named ones at the drugstore and this one is usually not as popular so it’s almost always available.

Five stars because it’s gentle, it works well, and it does what it claims.

lip balm is one of those cosmetics that I rarely do without because I have a very sensitive lip mucosa that cracks easily. Among the various lip balms that I have purchased over time there are also those from Nivea which once had a fairly classic formulation, that is, based on paraffin, which as far as I’m concerned had a good waterproofing power and shielded my lips well against the cold; now they have changed and contain vegetable oils such as avocado or shea butter and have lovely colors and greedy fruit aromas.

The finish in many cases is luminous, i. e. shiny and therefore can also be used as lip glosses or moisturizing lipsticks. I find them emollient and pleasant to wear.

А этот просто шикарный! Выглядит очень красиво на губах, как прозрачный блеск с природным глянцем. Запах почти не ощущается, вкуса вообще никакого не заметила. Попробую ещё другие с этой серии.

Сам бальзам прозорий та ріденький. На губах нічого такого не відчула. Буду далі користуватись) хороший чи поганий сказати важко. Такий собі легенький бальзам, щоб заволодіти губи перед помадою чи олівцем.

Щодо іншого SOS, то він вже більш густий, білий, трішки прозорий. Аромат просто клас. Ніби ананас, але легенький. Буду користуватись ним на ніч, так як добре зволожує. Схожий на Нівеа. P. S. Купувала не тут, але обожнюю цей сайт).

TranslateShow in original languageКупувала шоколадний і кокосовий бальзами евелін. Шоколадний важко лежить на губах, хочеться відразу стерти і не відчувати цього. Також запах, як на мене, дуже хімічний, не те що у кокосу.

Тому усім рекомендую кокосовий, класно зволожує і пахне.

I really love this product, and it’s my new daily go-to for work! Recently, I have gravitated more toward lipstick/lipgloss – balm hybrid products, and this one seems to fit perfectly for me. I personally wouldn’t describe this lipstick as “sticky”, but it does have a thick, cushiony feel.

I find that it wears comfortably, feels moisturizing, and lasts a decent amount of time. I purchased the Pillowtalk shade, and (as others have said) it looks different than the original Matte Revolution Pillowtalk.

The Matte Revolution formula pulls a little too yellowy-orange on me for my liking. I much prefer this version – it seems to be a more flattering fit with my natural lip tone. My ONLY complaint with this (and the reason for the deduction of a star) is the packaging.

I’ve purchased several CT products, and this packaging is just simply cheap and disappointing – from the flimsy plastic case to the far from luxe “clicking” sound when you twist the product up. By CT standards, for this price – fantastic product, but you let me down on packaging!.

I purchased this lipstick balm in pillow talk and passion kiss. Both beautiful colors. Pillow talk is a pinky nude color and passion kiss is more of a mauve nude brown in my opinion. I like the way this lipstick balm feels on my lips.

It’s obviously very hydrating and feels like a thicker consistency cushiony balm. I like that the consistency isn’t too thin. For a lipstick balm it lasts longer than some of the others I’ve tried. The shine and finish is absolutely gorgeous.

It looks so beautiful on the lips. Pillow talk is the perfect natural “no makeup” makeup look for me personally. Echoing what others have said, the product is good, but the packaging is not great. The packaging feels a bit cheap and it makes a clicking noise when you roll the product up.

When you click the product up, you can’t roll it back down, which I find very annoying. The balm also gets on the tube when applying it and is a bit messy. I think because you can’t click the product up to apply and then roll it back down you are left with this little bit of product you’ve clicked up and it smears on the tube itself.

Ugh I don’t know if that makes sense. In conclusion the packaging is less than decent for this price point. Will I buy again? Yes because I like the lipstick balm itself but I do hope they chance the packaging in the future.

This is similar to the Mario lipstick balm (whatever he calls the product) that’s sold out in the color I want. I tried my friends though and this product is similar to it. I like them both. If you can get past the cheap packaging like I can yes I would recommend.

I still really like this product and use it on a daily. If you don’t know what color to get I feel like pillow talk would be a pretty color on fair to tan skin tones, but I’m no expert.

I’m East Asian heritage with fair light skin tone, brown eyes and brown black hair. Here’s my review: I love really these lip balms. They are so pretty and moisturizing on the lips. The balms with color are very pigmented.

The product really gives you a pretty, plump, and enhanced lip color vibe. I understand people about their views on the packaging. However, the product alone is fabulous and it doesn’t hold me from despising the product.

I really think the packaging is pretty at sight with the brown casing and the vintage gold stars. I also don’t mind that the product can’t go down once up. I have other lip products like this and it’s not a big deal to me.

I just click what I need. I do agree that the balm is way too expensive. I suggest waiting for a sale if you can. I purchased my balms during the CT sale and have Crystal Happikiss, Happilove, Enchanting Kiss, and Pillow Talk.

I think these are the better colors and suit me well! I watched a bunch of YouTube reviews that helped me. I don’t regret these balms at all! Crystal Happikiss is a juicy sheer pink color, Enchanting Kiss is a juicy nudey pink peach, Happilove (only at CT site) is a juicy perfect rosy pink, and Pillow Talk is a juicy nude mauve pink.

I am so glad I took a chance on these beautiful lip balms from CT. CT just needs to work on the price point and the packaging so that more people can enjoy it too.

really lovely colour. crisp refreshing red apple scent smells like a childhood candy. very affordable. bright pigment but not too dark. looks great over or under lipstick. has a very hydrating effect.

doesn’t feel oily or sticky on the lips.

It’s a very smooth product and glides beautifully. The shades are very nice without overpowering you. Just soft and natural. I love baby lips for my lips when there dry and need hydrated I pick one up great for cracked and dry lips or just a touch of color comes in different colors and easy to apply and take on the go lasts for hours at a time so no reason to keep applying and hydrates all day long.

I used to use this religiously in high school for many years so it has a special place in my heart – brings back so much nostalgia. The formula is similar to the original Baby Lips, except a little thicker and with a lot more pigment.

You can customise how you want to wear it – swipe a few times for a sheer wash of colour and a healthy glow on school days, or swipe even more for some pretty intense colour for the weekend! It’s like a deep pink -lush colour that is super flattering.

It’s so affoordable too, cheapest I’ve gotten it is around $2 on sale. I highly recommend it, especially for teens looking for a no-fuss lip product for school. I love that it has added SPF16 too for extra protection.

The white letters on the outside do wear off over time from being thrown around in your backpack. TIP: I’ve used it as a cream blush before when I ran out of blush. Just tab a few dots on your cheeks and blend out.

Has a nice sweet scent.
