20 Best Lint Free Paper Towels (2023 Updated)

Bought a pack yesterday on sale, thinking I was getting a deal since I heard so many good things before. Got the paper towel home and went to grab one off the roll. It ripped a corner off. Not on the perforated at expected.

Thinking I just grabbed it wrong I went for another and another and another. All 3 were messed up. After closer inspection it’s like the perforations weren’t cut right. As I began to go through the roll I noticed it was like there were some that were long rectangles cut vetically and some that were small squares, and some that seemed Iike they were only cut horizontal.

Went through about a quarter of the roll trying to see if it got better. It did not. Hoping the next roll is cut right and I didn’t just waste $10 on a bunch of junk that I will have to sit and tear apart a bunch at a time because just tearing off the roll is impossible.

Our family has a pretty good lifetime of experience — and these paper towels are simply the best! Being able to use not only full but also half and quarter sheets saves time, money, and our landfills.

These towels are perhaps a bit more expensive than other brands. But they work better, last longer, and can even be reused for various cleanup purposes. So they are in reality less expensive. Although very rare (perhaps one in a hundred), we run across a roll where some of the sheets do not tear perfectly at the perforations, so I just use those for really messy stuff where separating sheets doesn’t matter.

But I say again, these paper towels are the best we have found. You owe it to yourself to give them a try.

Bounty has been THE brand that has been used in my household, my mother’s, and my grandmother’s. They are by far superior to any other brand I’ve ever tried. You think your saving money by buying a cheaper brand, but you just and up having to use 2-3 times more just to get the job done.

Since I have grandchildren, I appreciate the Select A Size, only bc they don’t need a whole sheet most of the time, or if I’m using it to line my containers, I can get it pretty close to the exact size of my container.

I, like some of the others, do lean towards the full size rolls for household cleaning tasks, so we purchase both types. Our household just tends to still prefer the use of paper towels opposed to washing reusable towels.

We do Recycle ♻️ for this concerned. We have 2 trash cans in our home, 1 for Recycling & the other for everything else. I’ve read many recent reviews regarding the quality and I am a bit concerned about bulk buying this time, because they seem to be long-term loyal Bounty Users such as myself.

I personally haven’t noticed any quality issues so far. However, I do always purchase mine from my Local Store & in bulk. Since my last bulk purchase in October 2021, I’ve only had to purchase 1 pack- 2 Double Roll Select a Size from my local drugstore & did not notice a change in quality.

But it’s time for me to bulk buy so I will keep my fingers crossed that no quality issues arise. I was actually thinking of purchasing through Amazon, which is what brought me to site today, to check out some of the descriptive words they use.

That’s when I came across the concerns of others in quality. My question is 2 fold. The loyal customers that have had issues with quality, Where did you purchase from. Online or Locally in person? 2nd, To Bounty, Is Amazon’s subscribe & save program a certified, or reliable, distributer for Bounty? I have noticed some products suffer quality issues when not purchased from Local Stores.

I’ve never purchased Bounty from any type of online distributor, & want to try to avoid the quality issues other’s seem to be having as much as possible. Has Bounty made any changes to their product? Loyal Bounty Users would certainly understand I would think, if changes have had to be made with all these issues with supply chain going on.

Honesty & transparency would be key to communicate to your customer’s, IF this is the case. Thank you so much for any information you can provide.

I am a bit out of character writing this review as it’s something I generally don’t do. I am the daughter of a long time paper maker so have been exposed to quality paper and paper products most of my life, which is why I buy Bounty.

It has always been a quality paper towel and has even withstood the occasional mistaken wash in the washing machine only to be used again! I have been buying Bounty either full sheet or Select A Size 2 Ply paper towels for decades.

Unfortunately, there seems to have been a change in the quality. Each ply is recently thinner thus having to use more paper towels for the same job the old paper towel would handle. This may be something perhaps the general public wouldn’t notice, but I have and am disappointed if this decision was made in an effort to sell more paper towels.

I’m more hopeful that your decision is based on the cost of raw products, but honestly, I would prefer to spend a little extra for the quality towel you once made and sincerely hope you see this review and decide to revert to a product you know you can be proud of.

We, your customers, have tolerated the reduction in roll size over the years along with the increased price, something companies have been doing for a while, perhaps thinking we don’t notice, but we do.

But loyal customers cannot be replaced when they know they are getting a great product and then the product becomes less worthy of their merit. I understand that P.

Ahhhh, the classic “Paper Towel Math”. equally as atrocious and deceptive as “Toilet Paper Math”. Thanks, disposable paper companies, for making it hard on the consumer to find the best deal. 2=5? 8=24? etc.

etc. What is a normal roll? Do they even make those anymore? Haven’t seen one in over a decade. You get 2 rolls, but each roll is 2. 5x the size of a “normal” roll, aka the amount of sheets included, per-roll.

As for the Full Sheets, most of the time, you’re wasting paper and killing trees, as a result. Select-A-Size is much better because you can use the half-sheet (essentially, what it is) and clean up the mess and utilize the entire piece of paper towel.

Or, if you’re cooking you can Select-A-Size four sheets (two normal, full-size pieces) and cover your cutting board. It seems lazy on Bounty’s part by altering the perforation on the laser-machine. I bought these because I had a 25% off Entire Purchase coupon.

They were barely cheaper, at this price (and with Office Max-Depot Rewards), than larger Select-A-Size variants (8=24, 4=12, etc. ) at other retailers. It’s a shame that Office Max-Depot restricts which SKUs the coupon works with and that pretty much only this Bounty item counted.

I have owned and operated a cleaning business for 12 years now and I have always preferred Member’s Mark select a size paper towels over Bounty until Covid hit. For years they were as good if not better than Bounty and much more affordable.

You can imagine how many paper towels I can go through in a day as a person who cleans houses full time for a living. Member’s Mark paper towels were hard to get for a while so when I couldn’t get them I bought Bounty.

When Member’s Mark paper towels were back in stock I was really excited to get my ol faithfuls back but whatever has changed in the making of the Member’s Mark paper towels since Covid has me in a position where I have to pay more and buy Bounty because paper towels that are noticeably thinner and leave some sort of unusual residue behind will not work for my business.

On every surface I clean I waste more paper towels because they’re thinner, on mirrors and glass I also waste more windex and more energy because I have to wipe over and over and over to remove the film they now leave behind.

I’ve never seen a paper towel cause more of a mess than the mess I was cleaning them with. It’s very strange and very disappointing because I truly preferred Member’s Mark over any other brand before Covid.

Please go back to the pre Covid formula for making Member’s Mark select a size paper towels or I will have no choice but to permanently switch to Bounty because I can’t spend money on such an inferior product.

I’ll start off by saying: My entire family absolutely loves the Member’s Mark paper towels!! My youngest daughter suffers from a rare genetic disorder, which has taken her driver’s license and job (and so much more).

Part of her illness includes uncontrolled seizures, therefore, she can’t go to the store for herself. My daughter, who is a grown adult in her own house, paying her own bills, she is fully functioning physically and mentally, and is doing well, with the exception of her chronic pain and illness.

Because she can’t drive herself to appointments, church, any stores – she feels as if she’s a burden to her sister and me. Having the ability to shop online for the things she needs has been a wonderful bit of independence for her.

The fact that she can get the good quality of the Member’s Mark line of paper products is like hitting a hole in one for her. The option of a half sheet or a full sheet is one of the advantages that myself and both of my daughters appreciate.

The paper towels are good quality that clean up spills easily without using a lot of towels; furthermore, with a compromised immune system, we’ve all had to be vigilant with disinfecting our houses – again, the towels do a good job and hold up well when cleaning our kitchens and bathrooms.

I have always bought Bounty paper towels. On my last trip to the store, I decided to try these since they get such good reviews. I don’t like them. They are not nearly as soft or absorbent as Bounty.

I have to use more paper towels to do the same job which erases the price savings. I have sometimes bought other brands over the years, but I have never switched from Bounty. These Member’s Mark rolls do not spin on my metal paper towel holder.

The cardboard tube is too small. It makes it hard to get a paper towel off. I have to manually unwind it from behind the little stop bar. I’ve never had this problem with any brand before. We will not buy the Member’s Mark paper towels again.

I am going back to Bounty.

I can’t believe how impossible it is to find paper towels wrapped in paper instead of plastic! Whether you are using a % of post-consumer recycled plastic – plastic is plastic! It’s harmful to produce, harmful to recycle, harmful to have in our homes, and harmful to dispose of it in the Earth.

The limited amount of grocery stores that did offer plastic bag “recycling” have done away with it. And China isn’t taking our trash/recycling anymore (we share the same planet so that wasn’t a solution anyway).

There are many options out there for creating compostable plant-based “plastics” now and your company has the money to invest in improving these options and blazing a new trail. Nobody needs paper towels in a pack to be individually wrapped in more plastic.

And modern, busy folks aren’t going to save their plastic wrappings to deliver them to a recycling center. People aren’t going to do away with our modern conveniences – companies need to step up their packing and find more eco-friendly solutions to reduce the single-use plastics that are destroying the planet.

C’mon 7th Generation. you can do way better. time to evolve!.

I had to special order these through Walgreen’s, as I couldn’t find them in stores. The idea of unbleached paper towels with recycled consumer fiber was immensely appealing to me. But fantasy and reality are often very different animals.

As they are in this case. The towels, though 2-ply, are quite weak and far less absorbent than the leading, and more accessible, bleached brands. As a result, I found myself using twice as many, and sometimes more, to achieve equatable results.

And finally, when tearing them off the roll, you have to take extra care or they will rip where they were not intended to rip. I made the mistake of buying the six pack, and I cannot express how happy I will be to see the last of them come off my paper towel rack.

A wonderful idea poorly realized. Very disappointed.

I don’t go through a lot of paper towels, because I use cloths for everyday cleaning, but when I need paper towels, these make me feel like I’m not making a huge negative impact. I’ve used them to “dry” cucumbers, clean up non-liquid messes in the kitchen and hairballs on the floor.

They hold up really well in all those cases, and I haven’t been let down yet. They are pricey if you use a lot of paper towels, but I live in a house alone, and a roll lasts me a couple months (again, I don’t use them for everything), so I’m okay with the higher price per roll.

Pretty happy with these. In my opinion, the Bounty paper towels I’ve used are stronger and of a better quality. These also tend to tear off of the pre determined line when you’re trying to just get a small square.

That tear spot just never seemed to want to work, that was with every roll in the pack. I think they are decent for the price, maybe 1 to 2 extra needed compared to Bounty. I’d get them again if they are on sale, but I still think Bounty towels are better and require less for the mess.

I’ve bought sparkle paper towels before and can’t recall having this issue previously, but this last pack I bought smells horrendous. So much so that even if I had avoided using these near my face, and used just for cleaning, I still could not get past the smell.

I’ve never noticed a smell on paper towels from any brand (I mean I never went out of my way to smell them either, but these smelled so strong it was unavoidable), and I am far from a picky person. I don’t need to have fancy paper towels, but I couldn’t even finish using these and had to give them away.

I also asked others who agreed they smelled awful- so it wasn’t just me. Maybe it was just the batch that I had gotten, or maybe Walmart is at fault for storing the particular shipment incorrectly, I’m not sure.

But I am sure that if I purchase another pack in the future and they smell as awful as the ones I got, I won’t ever buy sparkle again. They were just unusable.

When I ordered these paper towels, I was expecting something that absorbed liquids and that could be used to wipe various things. Upon receiving my order,I proceded to try a sheet from one of the many rolls included.

Let me tell you, these paper towels not only met my expectations, they surpassed them. Not only can you absorb liquids and wipe things with these paper towels, you can also use them to carry food items or other small things.

I imagine most of the people who are smart enough to use Home Deliveries USA would be able to find even more uses for this incredible itemnot to mention all the possibilities of the non-described cardboard tube included with each roll.

We’ve been using Sparkle paper towels for the past few years. We go through about 12 double rolls per day for a family of two, plus two dogs. Covid made them scarce, but we managed to keep enough around.

They took up so much space in our cart, I decided to order them online in cases of 4 packs of six double rolls. That’s about two days worth. Getting them shipped a couple of times each week, and they are dropped off at our door.

The quality varies. Some came, that turn gray, when wet. No big deal. Mostly nice and absorbent, Some thicker than others, too. Free shipping on orders over $35. The prices are a bit lower than buying them in the store, and we now have plenty of room in the cart for food.

Only drawback is breaking down the big boxes for recycling. No problem.

I was needing paper towels the other day and grabbed the only thing store, Scott’s Paper Towles. Thinking this was a name I’ve known for my 70 years. When I got home, I put a roll on my towel holder.

First thing I noticed was how much lighter the roll was than the Members Mark brand we’ve used for years. I took the last roll of Members Mark Paper Towel and started a comparison. I’m not sure happened to Scott Paper Towel.

At one time I remember Scott Towels were one of the better paper towels on the market. When I took a few sheets off the roll I noticed how cheap they were. I took two sheets off from last roll of Members Mark and noticed a major difference quality.

When trying to clean up a small moisture spill on the counter, I had to use twice as many of Scott’s brand. Overall quality of this product is such that I will not purchase them again. This is a product that is below standards I’ve found in other brands.

I should have bought the stores generic brand, believing it would have been better.

I recently got a puppy so I’ve had to buy quite a bit of paper towels as we potty trained her. Out of all the brands I’ve purchased Scott’s is by far the least effective. It’s kind of a shame, Scott’s has always been a decent brand but they no longer have any quality.

Even the generic grocery store brand is better quality. What takes 2 sheets to clean up a mess with every other brand takes 5-7 Scott’s towels. Frankly I doubt I will buy this brand again. It’s so bad I actually spent 5 minutes going to your website and adding this review.

Whoever is reading this should tell the senior mgmt that it’s embarrassing. Good luck when the consumers realize how terrible a product you are producing. Can you say stock prices falling. Maybe produce the quality that we used to expect with Scott’s instead of this product.

It really workedin my kitchen. My dishes tends to get Greasy, messy and dirty. so I tried this and this had given an awesome result by removing all the greasiness and toughest stains too. It is made up of natural ingredients and is fragrance free.

Before using this I was like does it work well and guess what it really worked well and removed the strongest stains on my head whites and other clothes. The packaging is so cute and is recyclable. it is not tested on animals.

You don’t need enough to do the dishes just adding another of water will give you enough to do many dishes at a time. It is delicate to your skin leaving no harshness. I don’t have any allergies, still it won’t let you any allergies because it is made up of natural ingredients.

i would be comfortable with the fragrance version too. The detergent was natural and chemical free. I will highly recommend this. Opinions are 100% my own. “.

It’s a no from me. During the pandemic when absolutely nobody had toilet paper I found on [brand:grove-collaborative]. It was recycled toilet paper which didn’t bother me, although it was much more expensive than any other TP I’ve used it was slim pickings.

The 1 ply is REAL. Let’s be honest, 1 ply can’t get anything clean. It’s equivalent to using a sheet of tissue paper, but scratchier. Think sandpaper. My butt winced every time I had to wipe. Call me snobby but this is a 3 ply household.

I don’t know what the company’s reasoning for the drop in quality is, but I’m not buying 7th generation toilet paper anymore. It used to be a brand I trusted for it’s balance of eco- consciousness and quality.

The 2-ply separates if you breathe on it wrong I swear, and it’s just trial and error to get the ends correct so it can unroll properly during use. I asked my adult son if he brought in some other cheap brand and put it on my toilet paper roller.

He said No, I thought you did. like from the dollar store? So that makes 2 more folks complaining in the reviews about the disappointing change.

For a couple of years now, Ive been getting regular shipments of a brand of recycled toilet paper where each roll is individually wrapped in a colorful designed wrapper, each with something clever to say about toilets and toilet paper.

However, recently with an increase in our household and at our business, 48 rolls have not been enough! I questioned whether this brand would be as good, since it is two-ply, but it actually is almost the same as our 3 ply.

I really appreciate being able to purchase this recycled paper. And, Im happy to have found a second source for a good product.

TP is thin but functional (probably use more than I would with sturdier paper). Most annoying feature is that it’s hard to start a new roll — paper sticks to itself & usually lose a few sheets starting a roll.

BUT this is a minor annoyance for saving old growth forests, which I can’t justify to myself. I’ve used this for several years now and gotten used to its problems. It works well enough.

And now that you give customers no other option, there’s no longer any reason to buy your product, much less pay a premium for it.

When it comes to cleaning house, these Multi-Surface Cloth paper towels are the best in absorbency and strength! I’ve used a lot of different brands of paper towels. I gave these a try back in 2016 and they’re the only paper towels I’ve loved since.

I’d like to compare them to their should-be-jealous sister, the Signature Cloth, which I inadvertently purchased once. Once was all it took to know the difference. Multi-Surface – sturdy, absorbent, reliable, rip-resistent –These guys know how to clean house.

They come off the roll easy, the ribbed texture allows me to scrub tough build-ups, and they hardly ever rip, even after wringing them out a few times. Multi-Surface Cloth knows how to execute a hard day’s work, while Signature Cloth whines there is too much to do.

Signature – soft, okay-absorbency, rips or shreds into pieces when looked at the wrong way. –Great if you want something to wipe your nose with. Not so great for getting a cleaning job done efficiently.

Compared to any other brand of paper towel, they take extra effort to pull off the roll, slowing you down in the event of a spill. Half of the time they rip into pieces on the way off the roll. Also, when cleaning glass, the Signature Cloth leaves tiny fibers behind.

When it comes to scrubbing, they rip and fall apart mid-process. I’ll choose the Multi-Surface Cloth paper towels from Viva over any other brand.

I’ve been using for several years now. I love this hairspray!! Living in an extremely humid state, I find that this hairspray performs VERY well, not to mention it smells nice. Literally it can have 100% humidity outside one day the very next day the humidity will drop to 45%.

This hairspray holds up nicely does not leave any white residue in your hair, as I have found a few hairspray that do. Aussie does not leave your hair with a wet, matted down look, unless you are trying to achieve that look.

I also use love , which I use mainly after I curl my hair, it holds my curl’s in tact, without a crunchy feel. If you haven’t tried Aussie hairspray, I highly recommend you to do so!!.

I love this hairspray! It keeps my hair in place but still flexible. This hairspray also smells amazing! I like this for days I just want a casual style that still looks in place and tamed. This is my go to hairspray that I buy the most often.

This whole line gives what exactly what you need for whatever occasion. The freeze spray will keep your style in place even through a full night’s sleep! Whenever I get compliments on my products it’s always these! Go and get yours!.

I’ve been purchasing these paper towels for a couple of years. Up until now, I’ve been satisfied. However, in December of 2020, the design of the paper towels was changed. Neither this change nor a previous design change from January of 2020 are mentioned anywhere on this website.

The change from January actually improved their quality, while the one from December has rendered them nearly unusable. I doubt that I’ll be doing business with this company anymore. I don’t appreciate the recent change, and I certainly don’t appreciate the bait and switch.

These are pretty good paper towels, and price wise the deal is pretty good too. However the amount of packaging in these is just way too much. I end up with so much trash and it feels very very wasteful.

Not only are all of the individual roles wrapped in plastic, but the individual rules are then wrapped in plastic as a bundle. These rolls are pretty thick too, so just keep that in mind if you are using a paper towel holder, these might not fit.

Other than that they are absorbent and work well.

Are the rolls huge? Yes. Does this stand up to the leading big name brands? Yes. Much cheaper than the big name brand toilet paper and works just as well if not better. It’s soft and plush, the packaging is convenient because it’s packaged into 4 smaller bags of toilet paper bot just one giant open bag that you need to worry about once you’ve opened the bag.

It does create a lot of paper dust which is why I didn’t rate it 5 stars.

Kirkland Signature paper towels are not only affordable, especially when they are on sale, but they are also a very good quality paper towel. No one likes trying to clean up a mess with a flimsy, cheap non brand paper towel.

Do you really save money using the cheap stuff? No, you do not. So, if you want an affordable, good quality paper towel that easily cleans up your worst mess, take a trip to Costco.
