20 Best Linoleum Floor Cleaner Machine (2023 Updated)

I’ve had this floor cleaner for less than a week, and it is already unusable. The lid that holds the rollers won’t engage and lock, causing the lid to fly off as soon as it powers on. It’s unfortunate because it is a quite powerful cleaner and very easy to use.

I like that it empties the dirty water into a separate tank and continuously rolls with fresh, clean water. Be aware that it only stays charged for 20mins so if you have a large home, you will have to likely divide your cleaning into two days.

It takes a good four hours to recharge fully. I contacted the manufacturer and they requested copies of my receipt and the serial number tag. I am awaiting confirmation from Karcher for a replacement.

One other thing to note. I had the F3 cleaner for a couple months, but returned it after it stopped charging. But liked the separate clean/ dirty tank feature so repurchased this model hoping it was more durable.

Ive taken immaculate care of both cleaners- always emptied the tanks, removed and washed the rollers after each use. I’m worried now that this brand just might have too many defects.

Bought this and used it for 1 week. We have two dogs. We vacuumed before we mopped each time. The hair wasn’t a huge problem, but the mop is moving around dirty water. The rollers got wet and dirty very fast, whatever mechanism is supposed to suck the dirty water and add clean water, didn’t really work.

After mopping one room and drying you could see the steaks of dried dirty water. Returned and went back to a traditional mop, just not worth the money. Nice concept, but needs a lot of work before it’s something useful for a household.

I love the Karcher FC5 Cordless Hard Floor Cleaner. Simply insert the handle into the base of the unit and attach the two rollers then charge it. It sits securely in the storage station while it is charging and when not in use.

If the rollers get too dirty while washing your floors you can also rinse them off somewhat in the storage station but I found it just as easy to pull the rollers off and rinse them under the faucet and then reattach them.

The unit is not heavy and it just glides itself along the floor with zero effort, you just need to guide it along. It is also not very loud, much more quiet then a vacuum cleaner. The water tank is easy to remove and fill at the faucet and add the cleaner and easy to snap back into the unit.

It cleans right to the edge of your floors where they meet the baseboards. It also fit nicely under my cabinets. I used the cleaner that came with the unit and it worked awesome and didn’t leave my floor streaked or dull looking.

This worked so much better then a standard sponge mop and with little to no effort. The water tank is easily emptied of unused cleaning solution and the rollers are easily cleaned under the running faucet.

The storage station has two round knob like things to hold your rollers while they dry. The suction head is easily removed and cleaned under the faucet and snaps back into place. The included book says the charge lasts for about 20 minutes and it probably does, it didn’t take me 20 minutes to clean the floors in a very large room.

I recommend this floor cleaner to anyone who is looking for a great floor cleaner with minimal effort.

I bought this specifically to clean my laminate floors after a basement remodel that left a layer of Sheetrock dust is n the textured laminate. We scrubbed, mopped and everything else to try and clean the laminate, but couldn’t get this layer of dirt off the floors.

Bought this vac to try since we’d already tried everything else. Mixed the cleaner with a cap full of vinegar and tried an area. Couldn’t believe the dirt I emptied out of the container after one pass.

After this we decided to move all the furniture and do one whole room. Not only did it get all the dirt out of the distressed floors, it scrubbed the laminate back to looking new. We’ll to say the least we ended up doing every room in the house because the dust had come up through all the vents.

The heavy traffic areas we did twice and still were able to pull additional dirt off the floors. I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research before buying and the main reason I decided on this one was because of the rotating brushes.

They scrub the floors in both directions and suck up the water when pulling it back. I live this vac and have also used on my tile floors. It does not clean the grout, but I wouldn’t expect it to, but does an amazing job on the tile.

I will be making another quick pass to n all the floors again just to see how much additional dirt I can get off. Great purchase, don’t be scared by the other reviews. The vac will leak a little when water is in the cleaning container and you leave it in one spot, so if storing with water in the tank, our a towel under it.

Purchased this product as an update to an original FloorMate, model # H2800, that I’ve had for many, many years. Have much more floor to wash now and am much older. Wanted the rotating spin-scrub brushes and the much larger wash solution tank which are an improvement over the original model.

Am disappointed. The old FloorMate out-performs this newer model in the wet vacuum mode, by far, plus the newer model leaks significantly more wash solution than the older model when stationary. The tank is properly seated so that is not the problem.

Thought for sure that Hoover would’ve gotten a handle on this issue on updated models. While the FloorMate remains a great concept, the performance of this new model is not acceptable to me. Will resort to using my original FloorMate and resign myself to filling the wash solution tank 8-10 times as opposed to 3 times but the flooring will be almost instantly dry.

Will ‘gift’ my sister-in-law with this new model so she can wash her back porch floor with ease as she does not require the same level of almost instant dryness that I prefer.

I have used my FloorMate hard floor cleaner for years! I LOVE it! I have gone thru several from simply much use( nothing last forever except the IRS! ). I keep 2 on hand at all times in case one breaks.

It very easy to use & I use it as needed multiple time a week. I love the fact that it has duel tanks & you are never pushing around dirty water! This is so much more sanitary than a mop that you have to constantly keep changing the water! Clean water & cleaning solution squirts out from one chamber.

power brushes scrub. the dirty solution is sucked up in the other chamber that you just pour out when the dirty container is filled! if you have ceramic tile, your floors will not be perfectly even & you will not get total dry suction, but it is still good & will dry in a couple of minutes!.

I bought this to sterilize the house several years ago. So glad I did ! Don’t need all those disinfectant cleaners at all with this !. Don’t make the mistake of feeling the cool mist rising while your using it ! You think it’s not hot, better think again ! Sanitizing hot !, on surface your steaming.

Easily kills bacteria, germs, viruses. Keeps everyone safe from those bad microbes. Highly recommend! Just don’t put your hand, or pet near the nozzle, when using it ! I did, & I will never, ever do that again.

I was skeptical at first. I tried it for a few minutes when I first opened it and was neutral about how I felt. But then the next day when I put it through some medium duty cleaning, I was very satisfied.

It won’t take off burnt or caked up dirt, but the results were more than I expected. I found that the longer I used the machine, the better it worked. Definitely a great buy for the price.

I read reviews on this and was looking forward to using this steamer. When received it, one of the clips that hold the microfiber towel where broke off, it takes a long time to hear up, and even then it spits water out constantly.

I had to put a towel down to clean a mirror and it was soaked.

I was excited to get this item. I’ve used it to clean bathroom fixtures and floors in my home. I have not experienced any issues with it’s as of yet. I would recommend allowing the item to heat up per the instructions.

Fast heating of water, does a great job on floors walls and more. Used it many jobs including cleaning a couch cushion. Very good machine for the price I paid.

I have so much stains on my hard tile floor and nicotine stains on my walls and blinds from contributing tobacco smoke including Cigarette, Cigar and Tobacco Pipe smoke. This is a real deal and I assure you that it has all the attachments to use for everything.

Bought this unit after reading reviews some were good and some not so good. The concerns after reading reviews are that the unit won’t hold up to several or long term use. Will update if necessary if unit fails.

This is the first time burying a bissell and I’m hoping to love it and get many years of use from it. So far have used it several times since receiving, it was easy to put together, it took a few minutes to snap parts together and use right away.

Very easy to maneuver and light weight, the head swivels and lthe steamer goes low enough to reach every nook and cranny. I was amaze at the amount of dirt that came off the floor. The amount of water in the unit was enough for all the rooms of our 1,400 sq ft home with needing one refill.

The long cord was very useful in getting a couple of rooms done before needing to unplugged and move to another area. The floors felt really clean under foot and was visibly cleaner when finished. The mop head was disgustingly dirty and was amazed at how much dirt came up even though we mop once a week.

I was so pleased that I decided to use it again the very next day and the amount of dirt picked up was just the same as the day before making me think how much dirt has been missed with just mopping which is surface dirt and the steam mop gets ground in dirt.

The tiles and wood floors were visibly shinier after second pass through. The only issue is that by the time you are doing the last room the mop head is very wet and isn’t so absorbent leaving the floor very wet and I have to go over it with a dry towel to pick up excess water.

So far so good and pleased with the results. I am hoping this will hold up to regular weekly use. It was very easy to clean the attached reusable fiber mop, I just removed and hand washed it, hand rung out excess water and hung dry for next use so far very pleased at the ease of use have not try using the steamer with just the brush part yet.

Looking forward to years of use.

I am honestly shocked with any bad reviews on this product. I have had mine for about a year now and I still love it. I feel like it is a quality product that is going to last through the years. However, if it broke, I would buy this same one again.

I use it on tile. and linoleum with no issue. I wet the pad in hot water before I start steaming my floors to give it a little jump start and also sprinkle essential oils on the pad. Also great for cleaning grimy outdoor windows (and indoors!), the steam really loosens up the dirt.

I have a glass top stove and use this to get that thing nice n shiny. No amount of scrubbing or products could get that burnt stuff off the stovetop in five years (rental, moved in to it like that) compared to what this did the first time I used it with the scrapping, then squeegeeing tools.

I use it to steam my wrinkly clothes. One thing I will say is that I wish there were bigger scrubbing attachments available. I would love an attachment for scrubbing my bathtub and one the right size to clean my toilet bowl on the underside where there is stubborn grime (obviously not to submerge in the water lol).

A wider flat bristle brush would be really awesome too. I do love the little scrubbing attachments, but the are too small for some jobs, which makes it too time consuming.

At my last house I burned through 2 floormates. Those things are okay but not really that sturdy. At the new house I was scrubbing hundreds of square feet by hand and just got tired of it. One summer long ago I had a job stripping and scrubbing floors at a local university and they used a much larger version of the orbiter.

So I decided to just get one. The household orbiter works the same as those old pro machines. Same technology which probably hasn’t changed at all but that’s okay It works. Yes, you need to block out a couple hours to do a whole floor of tile but how else are you going to get light tile and grout clean with dogs, cats, and people running in and out all day? I had a bad build up of dark stuff in my dove gray grout lines and in 2 cleanings the floor looks brand new.

1. Vacuum 2. Spray grout lines with a professional tile and grout cleaner. I use a non-acid version. 3. Scrub with the orbiter – orange brush. You have to come at the grout lines from several angles.

It is not arduous work. Just let the machine do its thing. You can guide it with 2 fingers. 4. Mop with clear water. 5. Dry with old bath towels. This may seem like a lot of work but if you have a nice home with light colored tile, there are a lot worse ways you can go to keep it looking like new.

I have had the orbiter for +15 years. I’ve loaned to friends and neighbor and of course, used it myself. I misplaced the instructions. So, I was going to print and put in the bag for the Orbiter Muli-Purpose Floor Machine.

I own my ow business, so my desktop is used for professional and personal use. The tech company keeps a pretty good lockdown to avoid any unknown entering. Thus, the problem. Again, MACHINE IS GREAT.

Dont’ lose the instruction manual.

I sought the help of a Hardwood Flooring store (Pete’s Hardwoods in Minnesota) and they kindly suggested the Orbiter. It works so great — saves me SO much time, compared to doing it “Cinderella style” on my hands and knees.

I also purchased some of the scrubber pads (the white polishing pads) which work great to apply the Rubio without wasting it.

The Bissell PowerFresh 2 in 1 Multisurface is especially convenient! I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and used it to clean both the hard floors in my kitchen and the shower walls.

I like how the PowerFresh can stand on its own and has a 16′ power cord. I was able to leave it plugged in to just one outlet to clean my whole kitchen. The PowerFresh Multisurface is also lightweight with a carrying handle, which makes it easy to carry between different rooms.

Its swivel head and extended reach handle make it possible to quickly reach every surface in my home. I had no problems cleaning my kitchen floors underneath the cabinets or in the corners. Some of my favorite features are the removable water tank and the washable, microfiber mop pad.

The removable water tank was easy to remove and reinstall. I was able to deep-clean and sanitize my kitchen floor using two tanks. I love that the steam cleaning power is natural and safe to use around children and pets without the use of harsh chemicals! Not only did my kitchen floor look cleaner and shinier, it was sanitized by removing 99.

9% of germs & bacteria in just a few minutes of steam cleaning. The cleaning power of this steamer works well! When finished cleaning, the removable mop head makes clean-up and storage a cinch. The microfiber mop head cleans and brightens up well in the laundry.

Reattaching the mop head after laundering was a simple and straightforward process which gave me confidence that my floors would be sanitized each time I used the PowerFresh. I was less impressed when I tried the PowerFresh as a handheld steamer to scrub the grout on my shower walls.

The handle hurt my hand when I was cleaning the grout. I used the included grout cleaning tool attachment but thought that the angle at which the tool attached required me to twist my wrist in an uncomfortable way.

After just one use, the scrubbing bristles on the attachment were looking bent out of shape.

I usually use a spray mop but it wasn’t getting the stuck on food from the floor. I’ve tried many other mops and nothing worked. This Bissel eventually gets the stuck on food off- you just have to keep the spin mop over the food for about 60 seconds.

It’s better than getting on your hands and knees to scrape off the food. I didn’t notice much of a difference between the regular mop pads and the scrub ones. It feels like you’re operating a professional floor cleaner.

I used an all purpose cleaner rather than the Bissel solution. It works well without their solution. I like that the water canister comes off completely and can be cleaned. I’ve used a steam mop of theirs in the past and it would get moldy because the canister couldn’t be removed.

I’ll still keep my spray mop for quick messes. The Bissel takes longer to clean the whole floor but does a deeper clean.

I received this today and immediately put it together (easy) and used in my bathroom which is 14 year old linoleum and my 4 month old kitchen and living room luxury vinyl plank flooring. The lvp was not in bad shape but with 3 dogs running in and out all the time there was some smears on the floor and the kitchen just had drips and drops from day to day cooking.

My bathroom and the lvp has been mopped every 3 to 4 days and all I thought was pretty clean. WRONG! I changed out the mop heads 4 times (ordered extra from another site) and I’m now washing them all in cold water Woolite with no fabric softener.

I stray. :-). This electric mop is worth every penny and my floors look wonderful! I’m so proud of them and feel like I’m walking on truly clean floors. The cleaner that came with the mop is good and I did see some streaking at first but when I left the mop in that area for a few minutes, when dry all streaking was gone.

Just use it for a few minutes in the area you are mopping and no streaks at all. My flooring looks so good and I would definitely buy this gem again!!!.

I bought the corded Spinwave because I needed extended time to clean hardwood floors after removing carpet. It did a great job removing built up padding print on the hardwood floor with the scrub pads.

Then after drying, I used the soft pads to apply another hardwood cleaner to help the floors shine. I had to wash the scrub pads frequently because they lifted so much dirt from the floor. I also used it on my hardwood and it really made them shine.

Plan to use on a couple more projects with hardwood floors that need some help. Definitely liked using hot water with cleaner as directed and no battery to recharge. Worked smoothly unless pads got off center.

Would definitely recommend!.

Prior to this I had a crosswave cordless max. It was too much work to clean every time after using it with alot of kids and it always spat out dirty water that it didn’t want to suck back up. Also my crosswave filter had grown mold and no matter how much I cleaned it, it did not go.

When I called the company they told me that crosswaves are not meant to be used multiple times a day unless everytime you use it you change the filter and the roller. And they have to dry completely for 24 hours.

Seriously!?! Why can’t they tell you that in the commercials or information section before buying it. I dont know anyone who has the money to go out and buy multiple sets of those. Thats crazy. I gave that away.

Now I bought this and it washes 100% better then a crosswave I loveeeeee it. And there is almost no work to be done after unless you want to wash the pads or dump your water tank but even those can wait they don’t need to be done right away or at all the same day if you are tired or busy.

It gets stuff off the floor that I can’t even scrub off it’s amazing. The only thing I saw it didn’t get off were hard stuck on fig newton’s by my toddlers. But im sure a steam mop with a scrubber part could do that or myself trying for a hour lol.

Mine holds its charge plenty long enough for me to do a whole floor level. The only thing I don’t like that much is that you can’t hold it still easily but thats no big deal its because of the spinning action.

I love it and I wish I knew about it sooner. I have never even heard of it till i found it here on QVC when I was looking for a mop that’s safe for hardwood floors. I definitely recommend this mop especially if you have alot of kids and have to mop up constantly.

also I read about people saying they were getting streaks. I found out that with my old crosswave and now this spinwave too, you can get streaks if you add to much of the cleaning solution. Hope that helps.

I purchased to use on my tile and hardwood floors. The machine its self does a good job of cleaning. My problem is with the round cleaning attachments. There are two of them. One has already come apart.

I’ve only had this machine for about 4 months and use it to clean twice per week. I just ordered a replacement set for 25. 00. The container that collects the dirty water and or cleaning solution drips the dirty water out on the floor when the container is only about a quarter full.

I wish I would have read reviews before I purchased as other have the same problem I’m having. I would not recommend this machine.

While this product has a lot of good reviews I suggest you consider the source. I purchased this floor cleaner based on the reviews and was very disappointed. Yes it does wash the floor and suck up the dirty water but that’s it.

It pulls itself forward so hard, you have to work to keep it from running away. I hate that you have no control over the amount of solution used and if there is any debris on the floor it gets caught between the rollers and the cover.

This was a waste of time and money. I returned it and bought a Bissell Crosswave. I love the Bissel.

I was really impressed with the cleaning power of this machine. I bought it mainly to do my laminate wood floors because it dries so quickly, but it does just a s well in my tile and real wood floors.

I highly recommend it. Oh, by the way, I mix up a gallon of Mr Clean disinfectant, and fill up the clean water container with that mixture a little bit at a time. It will not get sudsy, and it will disinfect.

This is a very good machine so far. Easy to use, easy to maneuver. Use it very slowly to get the most steam effect and it will do a good job of steam cleaning. It hasn’t worked super well on my grout, but nothing has, so I don’t discredit the whole machine for that.

I’ve used it on floors and walls and I’m happy with the job it’s done. I’ve also used it on jute rugs that were stained with rabbit urine, to get the smell out so other rabbits would not urinate in the same place.

I had to steam the stained areas multiple times, but after about the 4th time, the rabbits couldn’t smell anything anymore and stopped using those places. I steamed both sides of the rug and the floor underneath the rug to get every molecule of odor out of there.

Seemed to work! I just wish it would work on my grout, then I would give it Five Stars.

Overall, this is a good steam mop but I am still searching for the perfect one! This is my fourth steam mop purchase so I have tried several at all different price points and all have their pros and cons.

I LOVE that this one can stand up on its own. One of my other mops lacks this feature and it drives me crazy. This one works quite well in terms of steam production. Tank is easy to fill but its quite small so need to refill often.

Water heats up quickly. The detachable hand held steamer is fairly useless in my opinion so don’t buy this for that option alone. To clean grout the only thing I have had success with is my industrial steamer which cost over $1000.

For the price of this mop you can’t really go wrong if you’re looking for a mop that cleans floors decently at a good price point. Its nice and lightweight which is a huge plus! I would have given this mop a 5 star rating if it didn’t have one incredibly annoying feature-the mop pads are nearly impossible to get off and on!! Bissell.

PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!! The mop pads need to be larger and/or more elastic. You have to fight with the mop pads to get them onto the mop head-which is particularly challenging with hot steam. I like to change my mop pads often so I am not moving dirt from one place to another.

I bought 10 mop pads to go with this and I wish I hadn’t because they are just such a pain to get off and on. Also, in between changing them you have to wait for the unit to cool down. If the pros from this unit could be married with the pros of a “genius” competitor’s unit, the perfect steam mop would be born! Bissell please make better quality mop pads so that this unit is more user friendly.

Also, please consider making a disposable pad.

Through the years i have tried almost every floor steamer. This lift off 2 in 1 steamer is the best I’ve used. I rescue senior dogs. Some seniors are incontinent. I use my steamer everyday. During the covid 19 self quarantine mine broke because my daughter put bleach in the water tank.

I couldn’t find this streamer anywhere, everyone was out of stock. I bought another one, different brand, it was ok but didn’t steam and clean the way this one does. Everyday I got more and more anxious waiting for this streamer to be available.

I finally got another one yesterday and I was using it within 10 minutes. Since this steamer is a really good price I ordered a second one that should be delivered today. Now I’ll have 3 steamers, 2 of this bissell steamer and the one off brand I bought when I was desperate.

I showed my daughter that I have a spray bottle of bleach and water that i spray the grout lines with then steam to not put bleach in the water tank. Thank you Bissell for making products, especially this steamer for heavy user people like me that have lots of rescue dogs that go through my house.

Just bought a house with terracotta floors that were very dirty. The scrubber attachments have removed the majority of the dirt. Im pretty sure that after a few more scrubs the floor will look lovely.

Was impressed with how well it worked. Have not yet tried the polishing attachments but will in the future. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this machine to scrub my kitchen floor lino tiles, I thought for the size and price it was worth a go, it arrived as expected, took no time to click together, and apply the pads to the base, 4 different varieties I used the scrubbing ones, I sprayed a little water onto the floor along with a household spray cleaner and away we went, and I was amazed at what it could do considering it is not a commercial machine.

it even cleaned up to 15mm from the base boards, I did the floor in two halves after each half I went over it with a cloth on a broom and then with a steam mop. took about one hour in total, but the results came up like new, I wish I knew about this machine years ago or something like it, its a shame I did not think of before and after photos at the beginning.

It is not meant for industrial use, but for my domestic use on the kitchen and bathrooms floors it is money well spent. It is not perfect, it is light, but it is better than me scrubbing away for hours.

I have grey grout so unsure how much cleaner that is, but the tiles are!! It is very easy to use, moves easily, but I do not feel the telescopic part is as strong as it could be. The cleaning pads are easy enough to change but getting spare brush wheels seems impossible, maybe an issue there in the future.

Overall I am happy with it, it does as it says it will and it is so much easier than scrubbing the floors.

I have had this for a few weeks now. Extremely disappointed about the weight of it as website suggests it is very light. The only way this could ever be ever could be considered light is if you did not fill it with water or removed the hand held part (that part that holds the water) I have wooden floors throughout my house and the machine seemed to glue itself to the boards.

It is a dream on ceramic tiles though, practically weightless and glided evenly over these. In its favour It is a thing of beauty and once you put your back behind it and it left the floors sparkling.

It’s also pretty useless to me as I have a combined living and dining room just having just one floor cloth with it and another con finding out in the accompanying leaflet that after using approx 25 times you should change the filter.

I have a 9 roomed house that would mean I could do the whole house twice then spend more money on filters. So machine, cloths and filters. One more pro the steam hose attachment is brilliant on windows but the window attachment itself lost me as it comes with a teeny tiny cloth that ones not fit the whole of head and I just couldn’t manage to see where to put it.

Better diagrams would help.

Very disappointing. Burned my hand with the duster attachment when I was holding it in an elevated position – all the steam and condensation dripped down onto my hand. Left steam streaks on my fabric upholstered sofa (still there a week later.

) It’s not obvious in most photos that the hand-held steamer does not completely detach from the main unit, it still has the power cord attached. So, you have to take the cable into account when using it.

It’s heavier than you imagine; certainly the TV ads indicate that it’s very light, but the hand-held steamer gets heavy quickly when you’re holding it. Also, the water-tank has a copper float that always needs to be under water, which means holding it in a certain position.

This adds to the slightly awkward way that you have to hold the hand-held unit – not easy when you’re trying to clean blinds, for example. Finally, the instructions leaflet sets out a list of items that it cannot be used on.

This was disappointing, because the tv ad led me to believe it could be used on almost anything all around the house. To be honest, I’d been looking at the tv ads for years and finally decided to invest.

I probably would have kept the unit if it could clean the things I wanted it to, but I realised its use was more limited than I’d anticipated and when it burnt my hand there was no way I was keeping it.

Returned to Argos who thankfully refunded my money.

I have been using the floor steam cleaner and I am very happy with it. However, I am disappointed when I opened the box and had trouble matching the optional accessories with the items included. The scraper, duster with coral cloth, bendable jet nozzle, and additional round brushes in different colors were not included in the box but listed in the manual.

I also can’t figure out which cloths are which because they are not labeled. How do you attach the cloths to the window cleaning tool? There aren’t any instructions how to do it. I can’t figure it out.

Also, how do I purchase additional filters? I could not find an answer in the manual. If you could make these situations understandable, I would have given you a higher rating because the steam cleaner really cleans the floor very well.

I can’t wait to use the window cleaner once I figure out how to attach the coral cloth to the window cleaning tool if possible.

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time.

My Bissell broke and again it hasn’t even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I’d buy my original choice and I’m far from disappointed.

The issues I had with the Bissell I don’t with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn’t pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up.

The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily.

I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn’t have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.

Used it for the first time – all went well until I emptied the water tank. After emptying it I replaced it in the machine so I could continue, but the machine will not turn back on even though the battery is still at 90%.

Checked everything the manual said I should check but will not turn itself back on when I tilt the handle. it’s supposed to automatically turn itself on. Even unplugged it from the wall thinking the internal computer needed to reboot.

nothing! The computer is working – it gives its recorded messages and there is power at the control panel, no blinking warning lights – but will still not turn itself on for use. Worked about 20 minutes and now it’s just collecting dust.

Trying to get Customer Support – so far that’s also failed. Very irritating to say the least !!!!!!! Not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews.

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy.

This FC 7 Cordless floor cleaner cleans dry floors as well wet floors with one unit. This saves using multiple cleaning tools whether it be a vacuum, broom or bucket and a mop. This unit does it all.

It reaches many distances as it is cordless. Battery operated gives the freedom to go and clean spaces without feeling limited to a cord’s distance. It has four rollers that glide easily and lets you clean quickly and effectively removing all dirt and debris.

These rollers are also reusable as they are washable not throw away rollers. They pick up hair and the finest dust that settles in spaces we don’t always see. This unit vacuums and mops all at once. It houses the clean fresh water and the dirty water using two different tanks so you’re constantly using fresh clean water always until done with the task.

It has a comfortable grip, reach and maneuverability. It does take some getting use to as it is a single unit that does the job in less time when I’ve been use to multiple cleaning tools to get the job done.

I’m happy with the results and the freed up time I now have. The charge hold on this unit is up to 45 cleaning minutes before needing to recharge it. It cleans all kinds of bare floors from tile, to laminate to vinyl and when done it has a docking station to stand in and recharge so it can be ready to use the next time.

I got this a month ago and have used it a couple of times to mop my hardwood floors. It does a decent job in that you don’t have to apply the elbow grease as with manual mops. The boost mode is a good plus as it helps work with more soiled areas too.

And being cordless with good indicator for how much battery is left, makes it a really useful product. However only 1 thing I wish was better were the initial instructions to set it up. For a mop, it shouldn’t be too difficult to set this up but there are a lot of moving parts in this and at times the instructions skip past the obvious things leaving it upto guesswork.

One example is the part of connecting the waste container. The container has a lid, and essentially you both onto the mop. Initially I missed the lid part as the container itself clicks into the mop and the instructions don’t talk about it at all.

Another point is that the page in the booklet where it numbers each part, and the page where it talks about what those numbered parts are, should ideally be next to each other for easy understanding.

You currently need to flip the page back and forth to correspond the numbers to the parts. A minor point but would make it more user friendly and easier to understand what’s what. However once you get past these initial hurdles, it is a really good product.

My first review I was a litte down about this device, but since then I’ve changed my mind. It’s not a bad cleaner for the money. If there are any engineers or entrepreneurs reading this, what would give this thing stupendous reviews are if it had a built in extraction device and a additional tanks for rinsing and extraction.

I’m convinced most engineers don’t actually clean, so they don’t get these things! I apologize to those engineers who do actually get on their hands and knees and scrub. I’m sure they feel my pain! I have an open-concept home with wood and honed travertine tile on the main floor.

The honed travertine is beautiful and hides dirt and stains well, but I still like a clean floor now and again especially with pets! What that means is that I have a rough stone floor with an uneven and pitted surface, and beveled edges along wide grout lines.

It’s a beautiful old-world look! For normal cleaning I use Bona and a micro-fiber mop, or a steam mop. After a while the grout lines really need some TLC and sometimes I want to clean the nooks and crannies.

I’ve scrubbed the floor on my hands and knees, and I’ve purchased scrub brushes on a long handles. It’s an arduous and painful task cleaning 1500 sq feet of tile like this, and I’m no spring chicken! Enter the Koblenz Cleaner! I scrub the floor in small sections.

Then I stop and remove the tank. this thing leak like a sieve if you don’t. The other reviews that state this cleaner leaks are 100% true. Popping the tank off stops this problem. Next, I use a small wet/dry vac with good suction and suck up the dirty water.

Then I go over with my steam mop, which heats instantly and produces hot, hot steam. Voila. my floors and grout lines look great! Okay. it’s a lot of work with these three steps, which is why this doesn’t get a 5-star rating, but the main thing is that it’s not back-breaking work and I’m using this for the deep cleaning, not the day-to-day cleaning.

The machine does the heavy lifting for me. As an added bonus, I can put the lamb’s wool pads on and buff my hardwood floors too. I haven’t tried it yet, but it cleans carpet too. So. I’ll keep this thing till I find that they make one like this with a rinse tank and an extraction device an tank that I can use day-to-day! If I were an engineer.

I’d be a hero to many after I made this thing into the ultimate cleaning machine.

Just received it yesterday but was waiting for it to come so I could use it. I put it together took about 20 mins. was no big deal. I had to make a very slight adjustment to the hook that lifts the lever to release the shampoo/soap/water from the tank.

I did not use the tank yesterday however. I used resolve shampoo spray and scrubbed the rug with the machine. worked well. all parts were present. it’s a great scrubber but I will also be purchasing a steam cleaner in the future for those days you know it needs a little more.

I have had a machine like this one in the past: However it was a different model. While I do like the 2 speeds, and the scrubbing pads and brushes work well, I was disappointed that this machine tips over so easily when the brushes are attached, the balance needs to be rethought, the other problem occurred when I attempted to use the polishing pads, they spun out of position, and unless there is something that is suppose to keep them in place that was not shipped, they are basically useless because they will not remain in place.

I would rate this product as good for scrubbing but poor for polishing, and poor for its inability to retain a strong upright position when the brushes are attached.
