20 Best Linen Pants For Men (2023 Updated)

Almost 10 years ago, I purchased three pairs of the drawstring linen pants from Cubavera. I wore them everywhere every summer. To the beach, on vacation, to the movies, to dinner, everywhere. I love those pants.

And, to be honest, they are still in great shape outlasting many other pants I have owned. Unfortunately, they couldn’t outlast my waistline, so back for more in a new size. And guess what, the new pair are just as great.

They are cool enough to wear in the summer heat, stylish enough to wear to dinner and my wife loves how they look on me. My only issue is I had to move up to a large and it’s a bit looser than I would like.

The pants aren’t tailored correctly. I had to get my sewing machine out and correct the outside of each leg, and sew a straight stitch, 1/8 inch from the seam I pre-pressed down each side of both legs.

This is called a tailor stitch. Without it, the outsides of the legs look puffy, and like bags. Look at ANY pants, shorts; check look at shirts, tshirts. Really anything that is sewn correctly and you’ll see the 1/8″ tailor stitch.

It helps make tge garment look finished, tailored, pressed and beautiful. It also strengthens the leg stitch, so that it lasts longer. I matched the color, and I always match the materials. So the thread had to be of similar materials or better.

Overall, the pants are beautiful, but lack quality stitching. You emailed me requesting a review, you got it. Ext; Let’s see if your company does right by me.

As much as I truly love these pants – they’re not too baggy, but by no means fitted (I would say a truly relaxed slim fit), the waist is just a little smaller than I would like. I wear a 30” waist and these are about a 29.

75”. They definitely fit, and now they’re that little bit of push I need to hit the gym and shed that last little bit of winter bloat. I have these exact same pants in light grey and white and those fit perfectly in the waist, so the issue may be pant-specific.

Other than that, I would absolutely recommend these linen pants.

Super nice linen pants for the Deep South, super cool and light weight. These slacks are great for work, church, and even an evening out at the beach! My husband favors the Perry Ellis brand, and the fit is always perfect.

I can count on the true to size and quality of this brand.

The Rabbi had said he wanted to look out at a ‘sea of white’ for Yom Kippur, no doubt to reflect our level of repentance rather than simply our sense of fashion. So I was a little conflicted when I ordered this suit, not so much because the price was practically a steal, but maybe because it was a bit ‘too nice’ for a day that is the antithesis of materialism.

There is this idea of adding to the ‘beauty’ of an observance, though, and it was on that aspect where this natural linen suit shined, off-white enough to not ostentatiously proclaim ‘purity’ and yet fine enough to be really appreciated for its quality.

The fit was perfect and I received many compliments, even one from the Rabbi. (Btw: a combination of linen and cotton, no wool, so not shatnez although if you are *that frum perhaps you should have it tested.

) My only complaint: somewhere stuck under the left armpit was a price tag I had not seen and therefore had not cut off. I would have been even more embarrassed when this was pointed out to me (I had just come off the bimah) except that the tag I had missed had the full price on it, not nearly what I had actually paid! Hysterical! Even so, maybe you could not hide that tag underneath the arm and rather put it out where all the other conspicuously placed tags were found (and removed).

Great feel against the skin, smooth, lays great 100% Polyester may be the ticket for men’s pants. Simply Superb and I have very expensive pants and put these slacks up against any. The white cotton linen blend slacks will be great from spring on thru summer.

Looking for my size to become available in the bright white slacks 100% polyester ! Polyester is a winner !.

I have had this product before & was very pleased with it. My complaint is with Vilebrequin Customer Service who insist on sending me responses in French despite my request to get them in English. I have not yet received the goods & have no idea why or when it will be delivered.

Great in hot humid weather and very comfortable.

I got these to my measurements and they are really great. Despite the customization time was no issue, they were in my hands faster than expected. Looks good, feels good, and has suitably good pockets.

Just like you would expect from any other pair of wedding pants.

These were perfect casual dress pants for my boyfriend on our vacation to St. Lucia. The fabric and cut are great and look really good on!

Purchased these linen pants and the matching blazer to wear for a summer wedding. I received several compliments throughout the evening. It was a great weight so I wasn’t sweating the entire time. Continued to wear them separately paired with a t-shirt or casual slacks.

Take note the pants are a looser fit. I did have to get mine hemmed but the finished product was awesome!.

I liked the material, and the color. I was looking for a fabric and look similar to a pair of pants I bought years ago from Cariloha that they no longer offer. The issue I had with these pants is they are too wide/baggy, I returned them.

Do not buy!!! They are not at all true to size! I wear this brand and the ones I ordered are not even close to size. 36×30 are more like 28×28 skinny jeans junk!! I would give them no stars if I could.

I ordered the Linen trousers just a few weeks ago. By the time my ordered was confirmed, I received my trousers within 7 business days! That’s a crazy turn around time! I am not sure if it will always be like that, but it was just amazing how fast I got them back.

Now to the quality of the fabric and craftsmanship of the tailoring, both excellent! I must say I have much fine retail clothing experience and just recently moved on from working with Brooks Brothers for 10 years.

I have exeprtise in quality suits details and custom made garments. I love custom made garments, but cannot afford the high cost that comes with it now. So, I started with a pair of trousers to minimize cost incase the experience turned out to be a total botch.

The trouser I received was well tailored but I could not see the clear evidence of the 70% hand sewn work as claimed. Most of it looked machine done. Either way, not a deterrent for me for the price point! I did have one suggestion though.

I had my pockets sewn on-seam, so they line up with the side outseam of the trouser. The bar tack stitch there needs better reinforcing due to the stress that will be caused when I put my hands in and out of my pockets over time.

This too, not that big of a deal. I’ll take it to my tailor and have him reinforce the tack for a couple bucks. The button holes were well done, seams seen straight and the inner lining of the pants were well done and finished nicely.

No sloppy details. I have nothing to complain about. The fit of the pants was exactly what I ordered! I went a little looser than normal through the thigh and seat, but I preferred to have some room and then tailor it down than to have it come in too tight and then be stuck with nothing.

I suggest to give your tailor something to work with and then it’ll fit perfect. NO ONE should expect a garment to fit perfect if you do not have a master tailor fitting you in person. Remember, your ordering online and IF your entering your “correct” measurements you should get back something wearable or atleast workable for any half decent local tailor.

I am extremely happy with how these turned out! Now that it went well and I can appreciate the quality for the price, I will most definitely order again. Next try, I’m gonna order a suit! I’ll be sure to post a review.

These look amazing. They are very comfortable and obviously very well made. Almost too nice for what i was planning on using them for. Absolutely love them and will buy more from this brand.

By and large I am satisfied: I have so far ordered about 10 pairs of pants. 9 were excellent. Nr. 7 was of heavy cotton and non-wearable, so I am 90 percent very satisfied.

These slacks are extremely versatile. They can be dressed up with the matching blazer or worn as a simple dressed down look. I purchased to wear at a destination wedding in Jamaica. My only con towards these slacks is the fit.

I recommend purchasing on size up for the best fit.

I bought these pants for a June wedding in the midwest which basically equals HOT and HUMID! These linen pants not only looked great but felt great as well. These are light and breathable which made all the difference in my comfort level for the outdoor wedding and reception.

Recently my wife and I lost our home in Southern Oregon to fire. Of course this was a tragedy as we not only lost our home but also the entire contents. After the initial shock and I was partly recovered, I started to buy some clothes to at least replace a bit of what I lost.

Two of those items were my Tommy Bahama Beach Linen Elastic-Waist Pants (black and white). Previously, some years ago I was always on the lookout for incredibly comfortable pants – light, a perfect fit, looked great and had elastic waist.

After many years of looking online and buying many pants I thought might fit the bill, I finally bought these. And when I tried them on I knew I had finally found what I was looking for! So, after the fire of course it was at the top of my list to replace them when I was ready.

So that was exactly what I did. Thank you Tommy Bahama for making these yummy pants!!.

These pants work well as super casual or country club dressy. The elastic waist makes the pants very comfortable, although belt loops, as my other Tommy Bahama linen pants have, would give the pants a better look if the shirt is worn in.

The fit is trim, and so far the pants are not as rumpled as other linen pants. The price is right for the quality. Overall these are great pants that I would highly recommend.

I appreciate that all sizes have an inseam of 34″ because that what I want, but buyers should be aware. I wear a 31″ waist and the Small was uncomfortably snug. Medium works well for me. I would prefer these did not have an elastic waistband, as it is a more casual look than I want.

I have another pair of linen beach pants with a sized waist and no elastic and they look so much better.

I’ve had 3 pairs of these pants for about 2-2. 5 years and to this day they have all stood the test of time. I use them for indoor rock climbing, yoga, gym work, gardening, casual use, and other outdoor sports regularly and have yet to see any kind of damage to the cloth, stitching, or elasticity.

The waistband does not pinch and has not stretched out, and the pant fabric itself is mildly stretchy as well giving it a bit of flexibility when you need to make a normaly restricting move. Very nice in hot weather, I’ve used them in Texas for those years and they are very breathable and they give the groin area a good amount of breathing room and space to move for those times when you do need to stretch.

I love these pants. I got a pair for me and a pair for my teenage son. We couldn’t be happier. They have such light weight to them, it’s like wearing nothing at all, but with pockets. Even with full pockets, they still hang right.

I would strongly recommend these pants.

I’ve been wearing these for years, and they are the perfect pants for hanging around the house- comfy! I am female, but have smaller hips and a larger waist than average. I also have longer legs and I like that I can order them in a longer leg length.

The waist band is nice and wide, and it does not roll. no pinching. Great pockets.

Well-priced and comfortable pants in a lightly woven fabric that I’m looking forward to wearing in the spring and summer. I like the little touches like the X shaped belt loop at the back. Only criticisms would be that they attract ANY lint or dust around and because they’re dark blue, it’s really obvious, and also that the inseam was so long that I had to get a tailor to hem them and even then still cuff them (I’m 5’6” for reference).

This is also neutral, but they’re definitely very loose in the thigh. Works fine for me although something slightly better shaped while not being tight would have been ideal.

The pants look really nice. Has a dressy casual feel. Elastic waist and draw string is a nice touch. The material is isn’t that soft though and was a tiny but scratchy on my skin when moving around (but admittedly, I might just be too used to wearing sweatpants during the pandemic).

I’d also prefer a bit more elasticity in the stretchy waist.

Pants so nice we bought them twice! First in olive, then we went back for the navy version. The quality on these is wonderful. They don’t wrinkle as much as other linen pants, the details like buttons and fastenings are beautiful and durable, and I’m very impressed with the deep navy color.

These are my GO-TO everyday, pant / jacket / tie uniform as a Realtor. The pants are comfortable, durable and always look pressed and neat. That comfort waistband with silicon band keeps my shirts tucked in neatly.

I have several pairs in each color. The belt loops and cuffs give out before the pants ever do. Long-lasting, performance, and comfort says it all about these pants.

I purchased these pants as a birthday gift for my son. Sadly, although they pants are well made and very nice looking, the thigh of this style is too slim for my son to wear. Dillards needs to offer dress pants that have more thigh room! My husband likes and will wear them, but I wasn’t happy that the length I needed was unavailable, so we now have to spend more money to have them shortened.

I can always trust roundtree & yorke pants No ironing and washes so nice My husband recently gained several pounds after surgery. I went to Dillards and bought him two more pair of round tree & Yorke pants navy and tan colors.

He has a closet full of other colors. He is a school teacher so he has to dress nice everyday. We love Dillards!.

They fit so small. I ordered size 34 (my normal size), size 36 and size 38 and the size 38 are exactly the same size as size 36 – none even fit. If you are buying, buy 3/4 sizes up! Absolute joke.

Fit perfectly, comfortable, and look very smart. The beige ones are slightly see through, but not a problem with pale underwear.

The pants are very sharp! I get so many compliments on them throughout my workday.

I am 5’4 143# and bought a 32 short in this pant. They were shown in the store in the womans section for the sporty wear group. So I thought why not and tried them on. They fit great and just need a little hem.

The quality is very good, construction is much better than a womans pant, they are lined, and fabric and color great! They look good with a beautifully tailored womans cotton shirt. I will wear them with a dark green silk blouse.

They were costly but what woman can find lined pants anymore?.

These pants are lightweight, breathable, and look good, but the stitching on my back pocket popped almost immediately from normal stress. I expected a little better construction for this price. While I didn’t bother to reach out to customer service for this issue, I did reach out to them for another issue with my order and the straightened things out promptly.

The feel is very light and airy but you can tell the linen is quality durable. This will last a long time. The color is unique, very satisfied 👍🏻. I’ve wanted something this special and high high quality for a while.

Well I finally found it!.

the material quality of the linen is amazing and it feels great on the skin. the styling was a but baggy for my taste with the appropriate waist width so I had to get them tailored a bit slimmer in the thighs and now they fit nicely.

I ordered 3 pairs of the white INESIS 500mw pants, all had manufacturing defects. The cloth was too short so that the stitching didn’t catch the double fold of the cloth on the stitch line. It’s a little hard to explain, but it means the the cloth is coming loose and there’s a bunch of ugly strings that keep unraveling.

Additionally The sizing consistency was poor with one pair fitting almost like leggings and another like tapere jeans. If they fix these production issues or had some quality control these could be great pants (hence the 2 stars, not 1).

I am an avid decathlon fan and buy over 90% of my sports gear from them but this experience has been disappointing and I will be more hesitant and cautious in recommending their products. MAKE SURE YOU INSPECT THE PANTS VERY THOROUGHLY BEFORE BUYING!.

These fit the size below their stated size. Inesis shorts both moderate and warm weather fit me perfectly in size Fr48, but these chinos in Fr48 were 2 inches too big in the waist. I returned them for Fr46 and a perfect fit in the body.

The legs need to be taken up 3. 5 inches to fit me, but I knew that. The design is slim, the legs taper to 7 inch diameter bottoms so will not flap about to pick up mud. Having now bought Inesis products for cold, moderate, and warm weather I congratulate Inesis for their choice of fabrics for these temperature bands, which are accurate.

This moderate-weather fabric is standard chino weight, similar to chinos sold in the high street chain stores. Their price is the selling point of these chinos: one can easily pay more elsewhere for the same quality.

All four pockets are a good depth and on the two side pockets their bottom 1. 5 inches is made of the same fabric as the chinos, for reinforcement (the remainder of the pockets are made from lighter material).

The wide range of colours make these an ideal choice for leisurewear. The one thing missing is a rubber strip in the inner waistband to hold onto the shirt.

I have been a buying these trouser since 5+ years and stitch, fabric, fit and comfort are best. These are most comfortable trousers. I pair it with a t-shirt or shirt and sneaker that make a good office casual wear.

They are good for long haul flights too. Over all most versatile trousers that are affordable. When on business travel, I carry these trousers because they are very light weight, fold compactly, quick dry, easy to press in hotel.

Makes my travel light and appropriate for any occasion- work, meetings, sports, travel, party.
