24 Best Lightweight Vacuum For Stairs (2023 Updated)

I had a rainbow years ago that got ruined when someone used it and threw it in the closet with water in the reservoir and totally trashed the motor. I inherited the rainbow from my grandmother, and I know she paid about $2k for it, so I knew I would never be able to replace it.

When I saw the Sirena, the whole system was so similar to the rainbow! The hoses and fasteners and everything looked just like my rainbow, but it was less than half the price. I decided to go for it, because I loved how clean the air felt after using a bag less water filter (because dust and hair ARE going to get trapped in water!), and I also loved how you could run it just as an air purifier, and I add fragrance to the water, as well.

One thing I noticed right away was the squeeze-activated self-propel power head. You simple squeeze the handle and it activates and propels the power head. Need to stop the rotating brush for a minute? Just let go of the squeeze trigger.

It’s nice not to have the brush just rotating and wearing on the carpet if you need to stop vacuuming for a second to pick something up, move the canister, etc. The first time I used it, I used my old vacuum first, and I was shocked at the amount of cat hair and dirt I got out of my carpet with the Sirena right after using my old dirt Devil.

I’ve used the bare floor attachment, the turbo head on the stairs and furniture, and the small round brush with the pole extended to vacuum my ceiling blades, and it performed each of those tasks flawlessly.

I won’t lie, the Sirena has actually made vacuuming fun, so I find myself using it a lot more than my old vac, and for a lot more things (I’ll dust more than just ceiling blades). And when I’m done, the air feels clean and smells great.

And since you’re dumping out all the dirty water, that means everything you vacuumed up is getting throw out rather than sitting around in a bag. And the water filter is so great, there’s no telling how long before I have to change my HEPA filter.

Oh, I also tested out the wet vac function and it’s amazing! So much thought in the details with this system! 10/10 would recommend! I also paid with affirm, so it was much easier to budget.

My rainbow vaccum that I purchased 33 years ago is still working but is getting a little worn. We decided to purchase a new water filtration vaccum based on their ability to remove dirt from our carpets.

This time, we tried the Sirena vaccum to save considerable money. The unit arrived and appears to be well thought out and well built. I used it for the first time in our RV and it did a fantastic job.

We have very little carpet but I had to clean the water 3 times based on the amount of dirt it took out of our floors. The foot release on the base is a definite improvement over my old rainbow. The water tank is bigger than my rainbow, and it rolls smoother than my rainbow.

The extendable wands are really nice and the way the power is incorporated into the wand is much better than my rainbow. So far, I am very pleased with our purchase and the 10-year warranty gives me some comfort that the unit will hold up well.

Although we are full-time RVers and have very little carpet now, this unit will replace our Dyson when we get home as our main vaccum for the house. For all you full-time RVers out there, it is amazing how much dirt we track into our 5th wheel.

Campgrounds are usually dusty with a lot of gravel and we do not take our shoes off everytime we come into the RV. This vacuum takes more space to store than the small battery powered Dysons that come with the units but it does an amazing deep cleaning of what little carpet you have.

Our small Dyson that came with the RV makes the entire rig smell like dust and dirt when we vacuum because it just blows the dust out through the back filter. Put a few drops of deodorizer in this vacuum before you start and the entire rig smells fresh when you are done.

This vacuum has worked well for me. It’s extremely lightweight, and has the attachments I need to maintain a home that includes dogs. It’s very lightweight, and easy to move around. There are however three things that I would hope that they would reconsider if they redesign this model.

It’s a little awkward to get the machine into the proper position on the charging stand. It would be made easier if the bottom element of the vacuum, or the brush is and all the debris is picked up could be set into a stationary position instead of flopping.

Finally, I often find myself using the vacuum, and then wanting to pull out the handheld unit to pick up some spot or a nearby stair or whatever. It’s very hard to use the handheld unit in that way. There is a brush attachment that is stored in the charger unit that makes use of the handheld unit much easier.

the issue is simply the position and the angle of the actual mouth of the device. But my decision to use at handheld unit is usually made when I’m away from the charging device.

As a baby boomer who enjoys some semblance of order and efficiency in my life and home, I have found that my deteriorating joints and muscles have gotten in the way, and my saving grace to maintaining cleanliness easily and quickly has been with using the ergorapido vacuum.

It is the most user-friendly product I own. I so enjoy the minimal amount of effort it takes this otherwise non-mechanical person to keep it emptied and clear. When I clean it, all the buttons and slides and the universal markings to guide me removing the moveable parts are easy to understand and use with my arthritic hands.

I can easily carry the vacuum up and down stairs since it is not heavy. May I suggest you add three letters as a hyphenated prefix and call it the Eco-ErgoRapido, because it is eco-friendly with its minimal size and no need for vacuum bags.

One more thing. if you could have a recycling/restoration program for when the battery finally gives out, that would be the best. I am on my second one and I found a person who took the old one with a dead battery.

It felt better than throwing it in the landfill.

I have to admit, after my last Electrolux ergorspido-the orange one- finally gave up on its batteries, I was disappointed when I couldn’t buy another one. It was the perfect little handy stick vac to clean up spilled litter.

So when I stumbled on the newly released 2022 version, it was somewhat of an impulse purchase. I’m not disappointed. The suction is very strong for a handheld vac, and very effective as a convenient grab and go vac.

For entry rugs, I use low speed, and I was amazed at how much sand and dog hair I picked up. Emptying the washable filter was so quick and didn’t make a mess. The brush roll cleaner takes a moment to figure out, because the instructions are just drawings, but there’s definitely an aha! moment when it works.

Speaking of brush roll, Electrolux has made brushroll servicing, cleaning and unclogging easier than ever with quick release covers. Very impressive machine for a reasonable price.

I couldn’t despise a vacuum more than I despise this one. We have had three Shark vacuums before this one. They were all the Navigator, but not the lift away. This model is horrible. The drum fills up with ONE PASS OVER OUR LIVING ROOM AND WE HAVE BRAND NEW CARPET.

Literally, we had our house was built, everything completely new, we have no pets, we don’t smoke, and we bought this vacuum brand new to use in our new house so none of the old “dust and dirt” from our previous home would be transferred to this “new everything” house.

Every single time we use it it smells weird. We’ve cleaned the filters, we clean the drum, we have replaced the filters, all three, it still smells. The way it’s built is so unsteady it falls over at the slightest gust of wind.

Literally I have walked by it too quickly and it’s fallen over. The hose seems like it’d be long but it’s so tight it doesn’t stretch far. I cannot find a single thing about this vacuum I like and that stinks because I am an avid Shark product lover.

Now, as I’m looking for another new vacuum to replace this barely used one that’s garbage all around, my husband doesn’t want to get another Shark because of this one. Not to say I blame him, because I don’t, it’s horrible.

Over the last 7-8 years of having Shark vacuums this one ruined their image and reliability for us both. And that’s after our second one caught on fire and burned my husband’s hand, but they sent us a new upgraded version of that model we had even though it was two years old and pretty worn out, because the reason it caught fire was fixed for the new model they sent us.

So we weren’t even that upset over that entire incident. This whole vacuum in comparison makes me really annoyed they would even sell a product like this.

The Shark – Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum is a good and powerful relatively lightweight vacuum. The cord is long, the handle is a comfortable height, and the vacuum swivels so it’s easy to push and get around furniture.

It has powerful suction and is height adjustable so it works well on different types and lengths of carpet. The roller can be turned off, which is convenient if you want to use it on bare floors or decorative carpeting with long tassels.

Some things that I would have liked more of is on board tools, this only comes with 1 extender crevice tool and 1 little combo duster piece which I don’t know what it’s really called. The dirt cup is an ok size but of course space is taken up by the filter, and It’s easy to empty.

You can remove the whole center section of the vacuum and use it with the hose and extender crevice tool or other tool if you want to vacuum higher places like vents on a wall or ceiling fans, or go up the steps while vacuuming the baseboards, etc.

Easy to use- makes vacuuming seem like less of a chore! It’s been over a year since we got it Oct 2020, and it’s still working just as well as it did the 1st time we used it, which is saying a lot because it has to keep up with the fur of 2 cats and 1 long hair dog that sheds a lot! We’ve gone through a bunch of vacuums, all brand names, thru the years, and this Shark Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum is definitely the best one so far!.

This vacuum is okay. I broke my other Shark Navigator, the NV586 purple one, about a year ago and needed a quick replacement so I thought this one would be just as good. It was not. It was fine but really just not powerful enough to handle my 4 kiddos and two pets.

So I went looking for an upgrade and I am coming back to write a review finally becuase I recently purchased the new Shark Vertex DuoClean (AZ2002) and OMG I never knew what I was literally missing. One single pass over an 8×10 rug and the DuoClean picked up more dirt and hair than any other vacuum I have ever owned.

No exaggeration, I think I picked up years worth of nasty that I had no idea was still in there. As a bonus, it also glides over the hardwood floors picking up everything instead of scattering it like other vacuums and now I am also throwing away my brooms.

After owning three Sharks and one Dyson, I would recommend the DuoClean forever. So the NV360 is fine for single folks with no pets or kids who also don’t need to do hardwood floors, otherwise watch for a sale and snag the new DuoClean.

I have had this vacuum for 15 years, suction is great and never had to replace any filters. I just wash them out once every 2 -3 months, even wash out the canister, the only thing I have done to this vacuum is repeatedly cut hair off the rollers since everyone in my household has long hair except me.

I finally am going to purchase new sponge and HEPA filters, the old filters are getting a little rough. This vacuum still works great and we still keep using. Totally worth the price. Plan on keeping this vacuum.

I am getting ready to purchase the newer SharkNinja with Duo Cleaning to keep the hair from twisting around the brushes. love my Shark vacuums.

My first impression of this vac was good simply vacuuming carpet. Over time that deteriorated to complete dislike of it. As an upright vacuuming carpet it did well although canister is small so it fills quickly for those of us with pets.

The handle/hose is very poorly designed in use except as the handle for upright vacuuming. Don’t want to use the lift-away feature but would like the vac to follow you as you use the hose, too bad, the vac just falls over.

Most people don’t want to carry a vac as they use the hose. Handle hose failed within a year with the hose cracking near the handle. Within two years the floor nozzle hose has multiple fails. Extension wand rivet holding the plastic top portion to the metal tube failed.

I’m not hard on my things, don’t abuse them and I maintain them properly, this vac just doesn’t hold up. This vacuum is a giant fail and doesn’t hold up to use. Shark doesn’t honor it’s warranty either.

Never again Shark, never, ever, EVER again. BTW, that one “review” from “Cleanest floors in SD” isn’t a review, it’s some person trying to tell an actual reviewer that they’re wrong. She isn’t wrong.

Glad she returned it. Wish we had. I have owned a number of vacs in my life and have only once before been even close to this unhappy with one.

My husband bought this for me because it looked like such a good vacuum on the internet. What a shock the first time I used it. I am 64 years old, and have had my share of vacuums over the years, but this one stands alone.

IT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST VACUUM I’VE EVER USED!! I had 2 friends interested in this vacuum, so I loaned it to them, and they returned it, both saying they’ve never seen such idiotic technology, and would NEVER buy this, and now, any other Shark product.

What were you people thinking? You have a hose attachment that is about 3 feet long, which is all but useless, and when you do use it, the vacuum falls over on the floor. It’s as though a 3 year old designed the thing.

Have any of you tried to use this thing for any length of time? If you have, you know what I’m talking about. I should have just thrown my money in the garbage because that’s just about what this thing is worth.

Now I have to go out and find a REAL vacuum. NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANY SHARK PRODUCT!.

My hubby just bought this vacuum for us today. I never thought I could be so in love with a vacuum lol. After spending half an hour at a time vacuuming due to our horrible vacuum, we had to get a new one.

With 2 cats & 2 kids making constant messes & keeping me busy I couldn’t stand taking so long to vacuum. This one was the breadwinner! The cleanview is everything I could’ve wished for. It was very affordable, lightweight, amazing suction, and I can vacuum while the kids are sleeping & they don’t even budge.

I WISH I would have taken a picture of everything it got in the living room ALONE. So much dirt & hair. I love it’s one swipe technology. Took less than 5 minutes to vacuum. This is everything I needed.

IšverstiShow in original languageThe reason I didn’t give five full stars: 1) this vacuum does not stand upright when fully assembled because it is top heavy. The only way to stand it upright without falling over is to disconnect the top handheld part which can be pretty inconvenient when you just want to quickly put the vacuum aside, say to pick something off of the floor and 2) it is corded so dealing with a cord can be annoying, but there is a way to wrap the cord around the handle of the handheld piece as you vacuum which keeps it a bit out of the way.

Hard to describe, but something to get used to. 3) Not good on steps/stairs. I find this to be a bit too heavy and cumbersome to use on the stairs. Granted you could remove the top handheld piece, attach one of the included cleaning tools and vacuum your steps that way, but it would require some bending of your body and the time to assemble.

I just use my super lightweight Shark VacMop for the steps instead which I highly recommend as well. Why I love it: 1) ODOR NEUTRALIZER: If you have pets you know how smelly a vacuum can get, but with the odor neutralizer component of this vacuum, there is no foul smells whatsoever.

Actually, it leaves a subtle fresh scent as you vacuum. That alone is worth the entire cost! 2) EXTRA POWER: This picks up way more dirt and pet hair than my previous Black and Decker cordless stick vacuum – it literally puts it to shame.

You can feel the power especially when using carpet mode. This vacuum is somewhat heavier than the Black and Decker, but I think it’s just because this one has better quality components so it’s more heavy duty, still rather lightweight and manageable though.

3) Extra cleaning tools: the top piece can be disconnected and used as a handheld. Just put on one of the included cleaning tools to vacuum your car interior, couch/sofas or up above like cobwebs in the corners of your ceilings, it’s fantastic 4) Corded: I know I listed this as a con as well but the pros of a corded vac is that you never have to worry about a rechargeable battery dying mid-cleaning and you won’t have to replace the battery once every 1-2 years (sometimes finding a replacement battery can be tricky).

In addition, the cordless version of this cost $200 more! You can save so much money overtime by just getting this corded version and dealing with the cord (the cord is very long – I can vacuum my entire living room and dining room while plugged into one outlet.

I can also plug it into the bottom of my staircase and stretch it all the way to the 2nd floor and through the main, although short, hallway). Overall, well worth the investment. No more gagging from foul smells when I turn this on! No more battery dying mid-cleaning and No more poor suction!.

I’ve loved it for years but I was getting tired of giving my vacuum a “haircut” because of the bristles and I started to notice it wasnt sucking up all the fine granules from my carpet powder, leaving a gritty feeling.

I was comparing other Shark models and decided on the Stratos. Here’s my thoughts – Pros: -Powerful suction -3 settings – hard floor, carpet/low pile, and thick carpet/area rug -Easy press power button on handle -Brighter LED light -The power control and setting controls are on the handle, making transition between floor types and ending your cleaning session -Odor neutralizer is a cool feature, like a little febreze pack -Very good at picking up pet hair without kicking it back around or out (we have a cat and a dog) -Has powerfins and velvet roll, so it doesnt beat up hardwood floors and really does clear hair wrap (no more haircuts!) -The dust bin is much easier and less dirty; push down to release and back up to close the bin.

No more grabbing the bottom of the bin over the trash to dump out -Gets right up to the baseboards -Wand and handle do not scratch my floors when moving it along perimeter of rugs or tight spaces Cons -A bit heavier than my previous Shark vacuum -Has a high pitched whine when running -LED light turns off when upright to use wand or handle (I liked this feature on my Navigator because I could get under dressers with the wand and still have it illuminated to see fine particles or dust) -Vacuum head is a bit clunky, doesnt get under small areas such as under dishwasher lip or bottom of counters; luckily the wand is about to do so Overall, this is a very good vaccum and has powerful suction.

As a pet owner, it is perfect and is a big upgrade from my older Shark model. The odor neutralizer is a cool feature but not enough to make the switch if you already have one with the anti-hair wrap roller and/or power fins.

But if you want something that is powerful, doesnt beat up your floors and can pick up even the smallest bits of dust, dirt or pet hair, definitely make the upgrade to Stratos!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought this to replace another manufactures upright that I have had for 1 year and absolutely hate. I made this purchase spur of the moment, I have previously had Shark uprights and loved them and I am SO glad I bought this one! The Stratos sucks up things I never thought it would -if your kids/spouse leaves socks, coins etc laying around, pick them up before vacuuming anywhere near the area! Luckily it easy to take apart and access the items you didnt want sucked up.

I was blown away by the amount of dirt and debris it pulled out of my just vacuumed carpet that I used my old vac on! It picks up animal and human hair without any issue and so far no hair stuck in the brush.

It works well on hardwood floors, tile floors, area rugs and carpet and is easy to switch from one to the other. This vac was super easy to put together. While I do appreciate the odor neutralizer, I dont know if its totally necessary.

This vac is big and clunky and heavy -it takes awhile to get use to the maneuverability of it. I cant get under a few of my lower tables easily with it but its better than most vacs. I did find the hose from the wand to the unit to be quite short and its hard to get into areas like ceilings, furniture, corners etc.

I also did not like the way you use the lever to empty the dust bin -its to clunky and hard to get use to -I flung dirt/debris all over myself the first couple of times I emptied it. Also the on/off switch has a lag -like you press it to turn on, nothing happens so you press it again and then it shuts on and off again.

You have to press the button and just be patient. I guess I am use to instant! The buttons to switch from bare floor to carpet etc is clunky as well but its easy to figure out what mode you are in. Overall this was the BEST vacuum purchase I have made so far!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI was very excited to get the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, especially since I have had such great experiences with other Dyson products. Packaging and assembly with a breeze pretty self explanatory.

I was impressed from the start with how lite it was, which made is very convenient for the stairs in our house. It was easy enough for the kids to carry around and use too, which is always a plus! I found it fairly easy to use for over head tasks too.

I liked that it only has a single button power control. The LCD screen is probably my favorite feature. It shows you what has been lifted on the different surfaces, it is clear and easy to understand.

In fact at one point it wasn’t functioning properly and the LCD screen told me what the problem was right away and I was able to fix it right away. I love that I didn’t have to trouble shoot it and take the whole thing apart to figure out the problem.

It came with some neat attachments, the fluffy yellow and purple roller that is perfect for our wooden and tile floors, it had no problem fitting under our dining table and coffee table, this saved me time from having to move the furniture around.

It comes with a wall dock that provides a way to easily store all the components while charging it as well. It included a neat hair screw tool, the allows you to pick up pet hair making pet spaces easy and fast to keep clean.

They have a new design on the motorbar which helps to detangle long hair, eliminating the need for me to take it apart to cut out tangled hair like I have had to with other vacuums. You can select from the three cleaning modes depending on what job you are tackling.

The waste bin is super easy to empty, simply point it in the trash can and push the lever to release the dirt. It is quick and straight to the point and I didn’t have to tough anything so my hands never got dirty.

I love that it gives you 60 minutes of charge unlike previous machines that gave my around 20 minutes, also I found that the battery did a great job of holding the charge even when it was not in use or plugged in.

The only “con” I would say I found was that if you doing a bigger job like cleaning more that a few rooms at a time, you have to stop and empty out the bin more often perhaps because it is a smaller unit but if you don’t mind that it really isn’t an issue.

I would absolutely recommend this product to my friends and family.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have an older, corded Dyson which is still a workhorse. But since it is quite heavy and I am older, I can no longer easily carry it up and down stairs. So this corded one now stays upstairs which is carpeted, and the V12 Detect Slim is perfect for downstairs which is all tile/hardwood.

I have 2 very fluffy cats which shed a lot – constantly – and will sometimes scatter litter when covering their waste. I tried another stick vacuum which was great for about a year, but then started dropping the litter back down and out onto the floor again so this was frustrating and useless.

Back to Dyson and so far so very good. The one small feature that helped me finally make the choice of the V12 Detect Slim is the “on/off” button over the trigger in the other models. I have a bit of arthritis in my hands and the trigger would probably not be comfortable for me.

I also love the laser attachment to find all the litter scatter pieces that are not easily seen but certainly are felt by bare feet. I’ve only had this vacuum for a short while and have not tried all of the attachments yet but am hopeful that my furniture will be cleaner of cat hair just as my floors seem to be.

Yes, the dust bin is small, but it’s so easy to detach and empty I don’t find that to be an issue for me. As long as the V12 Detect slim keeps holding the litter in this bin, I will keep singing its praises.

I also bought the standing Dok and love this. Would just like a holder of some sort to attach to the stand for holding more of the attachments. So, considering how well my older, corded vacuum has performed and continues to perform, I’m hopeful for similar performance from the V12 Detect Slim.

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought this after a lot of thought as it was quite a lot of money to spend on a vacuum. It has been a year since I bought this Dyson and I can confirm it is worth every penny.

Upon arrival, the Dyson was boxed neatly and securely. Inside the box there was the vacuum itself and all its attachments – one for every household need. It also came with its charger and wall mount for those who want to wall mount the charger.

I charged the vacuum up for about 4 hours and it reached its full charge (3 blue bars). Straight away I loved that the vacuum was extremely easy to put together and the attachments were all straightforward enough.

You have 3 strength / suction settings on the Dyson (I usually stay on the middle one for my hard-wearing carpets and the low one for my linoleum floors) which you can easily increase / decrease with the sliding button.

I have bad mobility issues so I had to choose a vacuum carefully, the one thing I love about this Dyson is that it’s very lightweight and flexible. Another perk is how easy it is to empty and clean the vacuum.

The main downside for me, is that you have to keep a hold on the button for the vacuum to operate, it would be great if all you had to do was push it to turn the vacuum on then push again to turn it off.

If you have arthritic hands or a hand disability I don’t think it would be a suitable vacuum for you as it can tire the hand a little bit. The vacuum picks cat hairs up excellently, it always amazes me at how much it collects as the carpets never look that bad, but the vacuum says otherwise! For me, the battery lasts about 30-45 minutes which is perfect time.

If you need a bit more time and don’t want to wait 4 hours on the vacuum charging all you need is a second battery! If you buy a second battery then you’ll get 60-90 minutes of operating time which is sure to be enough time to vacuum your home from top to bottom.

Overall, this vacuum is excellent and really lives up to its claims and description. The quality is fabulous and it doesn’t feel cheap, it is very sturdy. It’s a great investment, especially if you have mobility issues (other than hands).

IšverstiShow in original languageBought from QVC Feb 2010. Good price , had been looking for one of these for a while. Firstly the ‘Animal’ bit. Works well. We have a white cat and had no problem picking up cat hairs.

In fact it is very good. However we have been very disapointed with its other cleaning performance. Firstly ,we have 50 /50 hard floors and carpet. The supplied main rotating head is useless on hard floors , so I purchased a dedicated hard floor attachment.

This improved the cleaning performance but its not perfect. Its a pain to have to keep changing heads whilst performaing routine hoovering. Secondly – regular loss of suction. Found this was mainly due to filter blocking up.

Resolved by rinsing under tap , but that meant that you could not used cleaner until it had completely dried out! Bought extra filters to help this. Battery life is hopeless on full power (10 -15 min) but mainly use it on mid power setting (approx 30 min) wall mount is a good feature however it does not accomodate all the supplied tools.

Good at cleaning the car “the most expensive car hoover in history” Previous cleaner was a Miele cylinder – this is like chalk and cheese to the V10 and cleans much better and use this when we do a weekly deep clean.

Cannot believe that this performs so poorly following all the other reviews and hype surrounding Dyson products. Never have I been so disapointed with an eagerly awaited purchase. I keep thinking maybe I am using it incorrectly – but have read manuals , looked at Youtube videos etc.

and clearly not. Its just not very good – but promises so much more. My only regret is that I did not return this while I could – -I just kept giving it yet another chance , buying accesories etc/.

Let me start by saying this is my favorite vacuum I have used, it works on hardwood, carpet, rugs (even thick ones!), and everything else. However, using this vacuum has a few drawbacks I will address later on, but it doesn’t totally ruin the experience.

Build Quality- This is a Dyson product and like all other Dyson products – is built really well. Zero complaints on how anything feels or fits and is top-notch. Everything is made of plastic however it still feels high quality and I can’t complain about the plastic build because if they used any more premium material it would quickly get very heavy so the well-finished plastic will do.

Attachments- Let me start by saying the laser hardwood attachment will ruin how clean you thought a room was, truly terrifies me that I have that much dust that I can only see with Dyson’s green laser but I am glad it is gone! All the heads on this vacuum are powered, an electrical port travels down the long tub or connects directly should you just plug the head in straight (such as the attachment for your car, works great and leaves those amazing carpet lines in your car) and that’s amazing but it means all the attachment heads will cost more so just a heads up there when you go to buy new or other attachment heads.

I believe this is the first time they are doing the powered heads as my last Dyson (v10?) did not have power running to the attachments. Features- Outside of the laser head attachment, it has a sensor in the vacuum that displays on the small LCD screen how many and what size dust particles it picks up.

I am not sure how accurate it is but either way, it is pretty much a gimic – your house has dust and lots of it but this puts an arbitrary number to it that to me at least doesn’t really matter. The screen is awesome for displaying your power, issues with the filter, and battery life.

Really nice and high-resolution screen for what it is. Outside of those and the new attachment heads and them being powered, it is pretty much the same as every other model except a bit more powerful and a bit more efficient.

Bin- Generally about the same size, with the same issues my last one had. Certainly big enough for my house that’s around 1800sf, can do it in one to two runs which is pretty good in my opinion and certainly not a problem.

If it is, they have the oversized one that is even bigger (and surprise surprise even more $). My issues- Let’s start with my least favorite, this thing clogs often. My dogs don’t shed a lot but for some reason, this thing clogs on their hair and it is due to the design as any small piece of fuzz can clog it.

This is because where the vacuum ejects the debris into the storage container, it is a flat slightly curved surface so any fuzz that isn’t less than 2″ will hit the wall and stop effectively clogging the vacuum and then backlogging the clog into the incoming pipe which can be difficult to pick out.

My second issue is that it can be an actual pain to get the tube to detach from the vacuum and takes me several minutes sometimes to press the red detach button in a sufficient way to eject. My last Dyson had both of these issues that I was hoping to be fixed but nonetheless, here we are.

Conclusions- This is a great vacuum, and I find that my issues are either very minor or only relative to me as most people don’t try and suck up fuzz. That’s ok but my issue is that they tout how powerful this is but my old college vacuum sucked up fuzz no problem.

I think I will continue to buy Dyson vacumes but I would really like to try a shark or one of the competitors to see how it fairs as well. I rated this 4 stars but really I think it is a 3. 5. I think if you are ok not sucking up fuzz this is the best vacuum on the market and it sucks up everything else leaving the BEST carpet lines of all time which really is all that matters here anyways lol.

I purchased the V15 Detect right when it launched in March of 2021. Overall, I’ve been extremely impressed with the performance of the V15 as a primary household vacuum cleaner. The Laser Slim Fluffy cleaner head is an absolute game changer when it comes to bare floor cleaning, and truly shows you how filthy your floors are, and how effective it is at cleaning them thoroughly.

It is so effective at removing fine dust off flooring surfaces that I hope Dyson eventually miniaturizes this cleaner head for use on glass tabletops and granite countertops. The “Hair Screw” tool is equally impressive for removing debris and hair off of any surface without tangling around the brush roll.

The motorized cleaner head with the “anti-tangle comb” is just as effective at removing hair from carpeted surfaces without any entanglement around the brush bar. The motorized cleaner head, coupled with the powerful suction of the V15, has proven to do an exceptional job at deep cleaning carpets in our household on a near daily basis.

Despite the wonderful performance of the V15 Detect, the primary, and significant, drawback of this machine is the propensity of hair tightly wrapping around the “shroud” within the clear bin. My wife’s long hair wraps around the shroud almost instantly, and once that happens, other debris such as cat hair and fluff builds up around the entangled hair.

Although the bin-emptying process involves a red silicon squeegee that is intended to remove all debris from the shroud, most of it is remains wrapped around the shroud. Now it has become routine maintenance to completely remove the clear bin and wipe down everything with a microfiber cloth whenever I need to empty the clear bin, which is essentially every time I vacuum the house.

Because of this issue, I can honestly see myself changing this out for a different model in the near future – perhaps an Outsize. I sincerely hope that Dyson redesigns the whole clear bin/shroud design sooner than later, because I am starting to get tired of having to thoroughly cleaning my machine every time I use it.

I had done extensive research prior to purchasing this vacuum. I had understood the physics of suction and agitation, ergonomics and weight balance, ease of use and creature comforts. I’ve gotta say this particular vacuum nails a lot of things in the head.

I had actually purchased three vacuums and tested them in my home until the return date was due. Since we were looking specifically for cordless I had the Shark Vertex Pro Duoclean, the Miele HX1 Tri-Flex and this Dyson V15 Detect.

All three of them were way above the price range that I had initially thought for a cordless vacuum. But with the addition of a new puppy, a house, two new cars, and kids in the near future, we decided the vacuum would be an investment for time savings and health.

I found this Dyson to correlate with real world testing of its suction and ease of use. This is incredibly lightweight and easy to use. I loved the tiny roller heads that can sneak there way into the furniture and underneath tables and chairs.

With than tiny head came unmatched agitation and power. This has an adjustable gate which allows you to choose between a better seal (higher suction) and more ground clearance to pick up larger items.

Although I have to say a lot of competitors did as well. The battery life with the sensor was stellar on all surfaces. And we were amazed by how well the green laser worked on our hardwood floors to visualize the hairs and dust in what we thought were clean areas.

The headlights on other vacuums are just not the same. People may say the sensor is gimmicky, but it truly benefits the user by sensing particle intake and boosting/reducing motor speed to provide a deeper clean while saving battery when not needed.

The parts themselves feel slightly plasticky, but robust enough to not worry about hitting them against furniture or stairs under normal use. Other vacuums we had looked at and tested may have felt more cheap and still were weighty.

I would highly recommend this product if the budget allows and you are looking for a vacuum that doesn’t have water filtration or a lot of maintenance.

I originally was going to buy the more expensive pet vacuum but found out that Miele products are not always made the same for places like Bed Bath and Beyond, so I did not want to spend the extra money for something that was not made with the highest quality.

This vacuum is still exceptionally expensive when compared to other brands, however, Miele is a very high-quality company. My only complaint so far about this vacuum is that the cord is extremely short.

I do need an extension cord. The head attachment is also a bit light and flimsy but this is both good and bad, it’s good because it moves very easily but bad because it seems a little cheaply made. These are also my reasons for the 4 stars.

The vacuum is so far performing much better than my Dyson Pet vacuum.

I purchased the Miele Canister vacuum to replace the Dyson Animal that I bought to replace my original Dyson – which I absolutely loved until it died.

The canister vacuum is great – I absolutely love the extendable wand on the hose, the attachments, and the way the vacuum swivels when moving around. The user who gave the Miele a 1 star rating must not have realized that releasing the suction by opening the air vents on the wand and/or the attachment makes it easier to vacuum floors, area rugs and carpet.

However, I will agree with that reviewer that it isn’t easy to use the Miele on thick well-padded carpet. I use it with no issues on our area rugs, tile and hardwood floors. We bought a lightweight Oreck to vacuum the carpeted areas of our new home – it was difficult to vacuum the plush carpet.

It’s very important to pay attention to how full the bag is and change it – on any vacuum, of course. The Miele makes it easy by providing an indicator right where the hose inserts into the canister.

We’ve owned a Miele vacuum and dishwasher, and I’m getting ready to order a Miele canister vacuum as a birthday present for our daughter. It’s a great tool for all kinds of housekeeping (especially if you have pets or long hair).

Truthfully, it suits neither. As there is no beater bar, any carpet that isn’t thin will not be cleaned effectively. On the hard surface setting, the head scrapes on the floor so I’d consider it okay for tile but not hardwood.

To complicate matters further there is a pressure release valve on the handle that’s needed when vacuuming area rugs – be sure to use it or the rug will stick to the head.

It’s the most easy to use shop vac I’ve ever had. If I need to vac something up right away and get back to what I was doing before , I don’t have to mess with plugging it in or adding extension cords.

Going to use it for cleaning chip pan on metal lathe and T-slots on my milling table. I may have to dedicate a filter cartridge for oily metal chips due to cutting oil. I use it on my drill press for metal chips and wood chips.

Makes clean up done in seconds. Have had this Vac for 2 weeks and have used it almost every day in my small shop. I would like to add an extension to the hose for a longer reach. This way you can carry the vac in one hand and vac at floor level without bending over.

The hose has a decent stretch to it , it just need a little longer wand. Thinking about machining some PVC pipe to fit end of hose. If this works then thats not an issue. This will also be my vac for my camper and my boat.

I purchased this unit to compliment my large Rigid wet/vac so I wouldn’t have to lug that beast around for small jobs around the house and garage. Uses my existing Hercules batteries and chargers and has plenty of power.

I use it with a wand extension kit I had to get into small areas my house vac doesn’t reach easily, especially under and behind furniture, crevices, baseboards, crown molding (I have 10′ ceilings), around toilets, and for wet spills on my wood flooring.

It’s lightweight and easy to handle and store. A bonus I didn’t really purchase it for was the blower function. More powerful than I expected, so it does well for small areas around my garage doors and porches.

I have owned other leading brands in the past and let me tell you! Ever since I had purchase my 1st shark 5 years ago which it did last for that long until my tubing ripped and couldn’t find replacement parts for it.

The shark company provides wonderful products that really have a high performance. They’re efficient, lighted for better visibility, have great maneuverability when rotating. So when my husband found me this as a replacement I knew I just had to try it.

It came with 3 attachments and has a lift away function where I can leave the floor part and walk with the bucket basically and vacuum in hard to reach places and stairs. It’s not too heavy and very easy to use! I love how powerful the vacuum is.

It picks up any mess my littles leave me. I use this 3x a day and it’s not an imposition to unravel the cord plug it in an unplug and ravel the cord back up. It’s super quick and easy and honestly, I find vacuuming enjoyable and now have a machine that not only happens to be my favorite color, but my favorite brand as well! So happy to have found this! Oh and did I mention how easy it is to clean and there’s a compartment for when/if definitely when something gets Caught in the hose and clogs it, there’s a compartment you can open on the side to get it out.

How neat no more burning up motors and having to completely disassemble to resolve an issue. Shark Also has made it super easy to clean and empty. There’s a separate compartment in the bucket with a mesh bucket so that it stays in there and filters out the debris and keeps the hair and/ bigger things trapped up too.

Love love it!.

Got this today, was a breeze to assemble and get going. Picks up a lot of dirt and hair quickly, I like the no tangle bush as we have a longer hair dog, and my wife and daughter both have long hair which used to have to be cut from the beater bar of our old vac on a regular basis.

This one has 3 filters so good for allergies, and the dual brushes which did very well on carpet and hardwood, getting a lot of the dust on the wood floor the old one couldnt get. Only a few things to note, the bin is a bit small and had to be dumped a lot because of pet hair, 3 times on our main living room.

It is not the lightest vacuum but about the same as our old one. I wish it came with a cleaning brush head separate order. and had room on board for all the attachments instead of just 2. The head is low profile and fits places our old one would not, and it turns very well.

Will see how well it holds up as the Dyson 07 it is replacing lasted us for 20 years and did a good job consistently. Just didnt want to pay top dollar for a Dyson again. 3 months later and the vacuum is still doing a great job.

We have not had any problems with hair wrap on the brush bar with our golden retrievers fur. Still have to dump the bin a lot with pet fur. Still miss that there was no standard brush attachment, but came with basically two upholstery brushes one powered, one not.

About to order the standard long bristle cleaning brush so I can clean the air return and vents, be nice if the sizes were standard so I could just use the old ones from other vacuums. Another quick update, trying to find accessories like the dusting brush has been difficult.

Shark does not carry one on their website, even though the owners manual says they do, and cant or wont tell you the dimensions needed. Ordering one from Home Deliveries USA, let you know if it fits in a later update.

Well, it does vacuum well. And there is the HEPA filter. For reference, I am used to my old upright Eureka Boss Smart Vac (which lived a long life but recently died), and this Shark is harder use use in many ways.

For starters, a filter bag is so much easier to deal with than the canister, which has to be emptied after every vacuum, and doesn’t even empty completely on it’s own (i. e. you have to reach in to dislodge hair, etc).

I also failed to realize that with the swivel steering, the upright unit is just more unstable and a little harder to push overall as a result. The real kicker though is the almost complete uselessness of the attachments.

Because you have to take the upright handle off, the unit that is left is so short you then have to carry it around. In addition, the attachment tubing is so short that you have to bend over to use the attachments.

So you therefore are all bent over, trying to carry around the unit in order to use the attachments, which is very back breaking. So. It does vacuum; it does good on bare floors and area rugs of various pile depths.

If you never use attachments and don’t mind skin and nose contact with your floor detritus, then this vacuum could be fine for you.

this model served me well using it for a year at a big private restaurant that was nearly all carpet. if it can handle that. it can handle a home for years. great vac for $160, shark has the best suction, however more inexpensive models dont orovide the same suction so this one is qorth the extra $.

Just don’t be dumb and suck up sticks or rubber bands or wrappers, it’s not a shopvac, it will clog like any household vacuum! i love the adjustable suction control, the utility of the wand being long or short, the attachments are fine (as always the air driven furniture cleaner attachment is nearly useless not sure why any company bothers to make em unless belt driven).

easy to empty bucket and super easy to clean. if you get clog in the hose from sucking up something dumb, the hoses and wand and everything come apart so easy to clear clogs. fairly light (not the lightest but that’s the price you pay for a motor big enough to create good suction).

works great on carpet thick or thin and also bare floors which is rare for a vac to be good at both! very nice design, shark: dont change a thing.

WOW. Where to start. I usually spend less than $100 on my vacuums, but I went out on a limb and purchased this. I read through many reviews on this and multiple other Shark vaccums, and this one consistently stuck out to me.

I will start with the cons, since there is only one that I have found and that is the weight. It is definitely a heavier vaccum but with how powerful the suction is, it almost helps pull the vaccum through the carpet so it doesn’t feel overwhelming to use.

The PROS however, I have a list. 1. It’s so simple to break down and clean every part of it. I am able to rinse air dry the collection dirt collection cup easily. I throw the two (not one but two!!) filters in the washer and they air dry quickly.

2. It is so powerful that I can literally feel a difference in the first use on my carpet. 3. It is easy to use as a smaller, portable cup to vaccum steps or small areas. 4. The price is honestly well under how much it’s worth! I rate this vaccum highly and I get excited to use it every time.

Even the hubby enjoys using it haha.

After using for a month, I’m very impressed with the performance of this model. There’s lots to like! While the suction is really good, what functions better than other brands is that the brush roll allows frontal pickup.

I’ve used other vacuum cleaners where the pickup is very limited because they mainly suction from one end of the head. This Shark picks up well from all directions, which i really like! The motor is fairly quiet, not overly noisy.

Although not as light as some other Shark models, it’s not too heavy either. The dust capacity is great, and the swivel feature and lights on the head are helpful. This machine does just about everything I want it to.

The one drawback is that due to the larger dust canister, it does not flatten really well to reach very far under a chair, for example. There is a separate attachment for that, but it does take time and effort to switch.

Nonetheless, this Shark is a great model! The designers thought of most everything, including a place on the hose intake, where a large object, such as one vacuumed by mistake, can be removed easily.

I wish the cord were longer, but I’ve added my own extension. If the motor lasts a long time, I’ll be enjoying vacuuming with this one a lot!.

The Shark Rotator NV501 has one of the strangest designs I’ve seen in a vacuum. This is not my first Shark vacuum. i owned the NV22 previously and really liked it’s simple design and raw power (actually more powerful than this model).

I also own a Kirby G5 and a Vorwerk which is one of my favorites of all time, but it’s broken. The Kirby is, of course, too hefty for daily use with stairs involved which is why i opted for the Shark brand which beats on price and has great performance for the buck.

This particular model seems to be AI designed rather than human engineering because it’s just so weird and takes a biy of getting used to which is why I only gave it 3 stars. Performance wise – while adequate and quite functional, it could use more suction power.

I do like the fact that you can adjust the suction, but the maximum is way less than either of the other three machines I’ve mentioned including the much older Shark model which again has a more simple and effective design.

I was between this and a Dyson and after reading Dyson reviews with the weight and almost too much suction, I went with this and boy Im not disappointed. I love all the features. Within one vacuum I had a full canister which is something my previous vacuum couldnt do.

Its lightweight and easy to use. The lights in the front help so much to see trapped dirt. I am a huge fan!.

IšverstiShow in original languageWorked very well at first on carpet and we have 3 cats and a daughter with long hair. To clarify we only have 3 bedrooms and a landing and carpeted stairs so it’s not like I have been vacuuming the whole house for 6 months, but this is the 3rd time I’ve had to clear all the hair out of the brush.

The attachment hose no longer sucks anything with barely any suction. Checked the filters all okay. Had to manually clear a large plug of dust that formed a clog in the area at the bottom above the brush and it went way up.

Appeared cleared as far as I could go but it still isn’t sucking hardly anything up so it’s got to be clogged somewhere else in the vacuum. I’m the only one who uses it and I know I’ve not vacuumed up any objects or wet stuff.

Very disappointed. I think they need to redesign that suction entry point and maybe make it larger or out of something that’s not plastic. Almost seems the flexible plastic tube/air tunnel is overheating maybe and causing the dust and hair to ‘mat’ into the shape of it.

Gross. Going in the garbage tonight.

IšverstiShow in original languageI needed to replace my old heavy vacuum from several years ago. First I had borrowed a friend’s dyson animal vacuum just to try it, and since our carpet is a little higher pile, I was really afraid it was going to damage our carpet.

When I would slow down, it felt like I was trying to take a toy away from a dog. So I called the family owned carpet business where we had purchased all types of flooring for many years, and they suggested the Bissell.

He explained the vacuum needed to just go over the top, viabrate, and extract the dirt that way, or it could damage the threads. It needed to have a manual adjustable head to do that, since the automatic sensor ones like in other vacuums don’t work as well in doing that.

He was correct. On the Bissell, I use the knob to turn it to the height adjustment on my carpet or hard floors and it works wonderfully. The amount that was picked up in the cannister compared to my old vacuum was amazing.

It’s very easy to remove the cannister, take it to the trash can, and press the button to open the bottom to remove the dirt too. The vacuum is much lighter than the old vacuums, and stays put when putting it back up upright to store (the dyson would fall occasionally and had to redo the upright position a couple of times.

I like the way the vacuum easily swivels too. We have a house with large rooms, and it works in all of them including right next to baseboard in carpeted rooms, and in the kitchen, and right along side the cabinets.

(A little longer cord would be nice, but this one works fine. ) I also liked the attachment to clean the stairs. Since the vacuum is light, it’s easy to move up and down that area. The price was the kicker on top of it all.

So much more affordable. So. even if it does last a slightly shorter time than the other highly advertised brands, you haven’t broke the bank buying a vacuum. Great vacuum – the locally owned flooring center was right! Bissell is the brand to purchase for many reasons!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI’m not easily impressed, but this vacuum impressed me. I have six cats, and I’ve been using an older model Dyson Animal vacuum, and I thought it was still doing just fine.

My wife, however, complained that the Dyson was too hard to push (she rarely vacuums) so I finally gave in and decided to buy a new vacuum. I was concerned about the low price for this one, assuming that higher prices mean better quality, but I was swayed by the good reviews.

I used the old Dyson yesterday, and today I used my new Bissell for the first time. Holy smokes, what a difference! I vacuumed the same carpet, and had to empty the canister twice because it picked up so much cat hair the Dyson had left behind.

This is a great vacuum, especially for the affordable price!.

Only drawback is the base will tip over if you stretch the hose too far, so keep an eye on it as you use the wand.

Cleaning stairs is easy with the “Lift Away” feature. The NV501 has strong suction and durability. Do your regular maintenance as other reviews have mentioned, and store it properly. It’s super easy to take apart when needed.

I accidentally sucked up a microfiber cloth once, but was able to open the hose at the right spot and pull the cloth right out. We’ve had our NV501 for almost a decade and still no problems. Have purchased this particular model as gifts for friends and family.

Highly recommended.

My son who is the real test of a vacuum as he just vacuums without paying attention and always vacuums something he shouldn’t.

It comes apart so we can remove the offending item. The motor is as strong as ever. It even survived a flooded basement. It started right up after it dried out. Did I mention at the time of purchase we had 4 dogs (including a German shepherd who sheeted like a champ.

) and 3 cats. It’s gotten relegated to 2nd vac status as we just got a Vertex. I’m a committed Shark customer now. Before this vacuum we had Kenmores, Electroluxes, Hoovers and Bissells, none were as good as or lasted as well as my Shark.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleI purchased my Shark Rotator Professional Lift away vacuum several years ago when my old vacuum stopped working. It works perfectly yet. I love seeing results and the fact that you can see through the dirt cup filling up with dust and debris brings much satisfaction.

You can hear it picking up literally the smallest crumbs which I also love. It’s lightweight and swivels so smoothly and it’s low profile base gets under the edges of our beds and recliner very easily without using the hose attachment or moving furniture.

The only downfall which isn’t even an issue because I love this vacuum so much is that the cord isn’t retractable. Both filters are incredibly easy to change too which is huge for efficiency and suction power.

The price seemed about average for vacuums I was looking at. If you’re interested in this but the price is too high for you, wait until around black Friday as I’ve seen these for almost $100 off at Kohls.

I decided to read the reviews on this vacuum to see if anyone else mentioned this ( i was reminded of the dust blower after cleaning my cell phone just now, earlier today i vacuumed and had my cell on a counter within the same area i was vacuuming i went to grab my cell phone after vacuuming and noticed white dust/dirt all over my phone screen, i lightly cleaned off the screen and told myself later when i had more time i would have to take off the cell phone case and give my cell and case a deep cleaning all while still telling myself is probably not really from the vacuum , the deep cleaning of my cell reminded me of my worries about the vacuum blowing dirt because i found some of the white dust / dirt inside the phone cover at that point i decided i best look up reviews of this vacuum.

This vacuum has really good suction and easily adjust to whichever ever surface height i am vacuuming while still maintaining great suction weather i am vacuuming floor or thick high carpet but my fear was real and it actually was blowing dirt and dust back out I just kinda thought the air i felt blowing was how this vacuum was designed to work and made myself force out of my paranoid mind that it might be blowing dirt back out.

I also have the same problem with the hose not staying attached to the vacuum hole as others have mentioned, i actually thought i must of misplaced the piece that seals the hose onto the vacuum hole as my vacuums in the past have always had pieces some metal some plastic that are removable seals.

As i vacuumed I would just constantly check on it being attached to the hole, thinking i had better make the time to dig in the back of closet for the missing piece which never was because instead its just a company that doesnt care about the health and property of other people.

I understand the terrific cheap price this vacuum is sold at so wouldn’t expect that i would have it more then a couple years before time for a new one (my last upright i bought was a Sanitaire 20 years ago and a Royal cannister vacuum 10 years ago both i gave up during moves a couple years ago) but that vacuums hose attaching the way Bissell designed it is unacceptable to sell.

The hose not having a plastic ring to seal it has nothing to do with the saying you get what you pay for. They need to stop selling and a recall needs to be made on any of Bisells vacuums that are built with this no plastic ring seal hose design vacuum!!! peoples healths are at risk and people are being made sick from these vacuums.

Last month i pulled my daughter’s bed out and vacuumed the sides that are close to the wall and a couch that sits right next to bed , No wonder she has had headaches almost everday for a month and has been sneezing everytime she goes into her room.

Bissell needs to recall these vacuums , they are a health hazzard to our families and a puplic health hazard if someone is using this vacuum to clean a public place.

IšverstiShow in original languageI certainly did not expect anything that’s good for the price. I did not have another vacuum cleaner to compare this to prior I just took my sweet time getting a vacuum cleaner and chose this one.

Suffice it to say, the suction power is amazing for what it does. someone else commented and I concur, that having a constant brush roller velocity you had better keep this up off the carpet at the maximum height if you’re only using the hose.

Also, if I luck out and manage to purchase an extension hose I will do so because the hose is short. That aside, this is an amazing performer for something so modestly priced. it’s a bit noisy, but I guess mostly all vacuum cleaners boast a lot of noise.

I measured about 70 dB which is pretty potent but it does what it needs to do, I have not had issues with the bagless container for what I have been vacuuming. I know you have to pay the freight if you want HEPA filter protection so far so good with my modest requirements.

All in all you would be amazed at how well this thing cleans for a mere $60 as of this writing. I wholeheartedly recommend it especially if you’re in a pinch and you want something that will clean your carpet pick up dirt via the crevice device or anything else you attach to it.

it’s a winner all the way around.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleI would highly recommend this vacuum, first and foremost I love that it’s super lightweight AND cordless, with runtime up to 44 minutes, which is plenty enough time to get alot of cleaning done! This vacuum works great at cleaning up messes and has plenty of suction power and I especially love that it also features an LED light at the base of the vacuum, that way you can see even more of what you’re cleaning and you don’t miss any hidden dirt! This stick vacuum also features a brush bar in the vacuum itself, so picking up hair is also a breeze! Something else that I admire about this product is the fact that it also doubles as a handheld vacuum, by simply removing the handheld top part which has an attachable crevice tool to even help get dirt in the trickiest places! Another one of my favorite things about this product is the fact that this vacuum is made with auto sense technology which means it changes suction power based on what surface you’re vacuuming! Overall, I found this product to really work great at cleaning, it’s super easy to use, and overall just hasslefree.

This is one I’d definitely recommend!.

TraduireAfficher dans la langue originaleSurprising amount of suction. The brush is powering through the carpet and the suction is picking everything up so It isn’t a breeze to push, it’s busy grabbing everything out of the carpet.

I love the vacuum but would warn elderly people that it is too heavy for them, a lot of weight right at the hand and it’s not a breeze to push. These brand name starts with an e and ends with a lux. It was a great vacuum, I was very impressed with it, it was light and easy to push, did a very nice job but the battery faded and replacing it is very difficult.

And with that said, this vacuum does a much better job than the more expensive one. There are caveats; It is heavy on the hands and it grabs and sucks up everything so it isn’t a breeze to push. I want to be clear, it isn’t hard to push, but if you are 80 years old and your arthritis is bothering you, it would be too much for you.

Like I said in the title, this thing competes and might even out perform our 11AMP upright, when you vacuum with this thing you can see where you’ve been, it is surprisingly powerful.

IšverstiShow in original languageWhere to start. first off this vacuum is a game changer for me! I have four Huskies that shed 24/7 and this vacuum on Low Mode had zero issues with the fur. I previously owned a Shark Pro Navigator and as much as I loved it, I also hate it! it was way too heavy and has a short cord.

truly frustrating when you have back issues and have to keep plugging it in as you move room to room. This cordless vacuum is so lightweight and powerful. Prior to this I bought the Shark Cordless and it was heavier and I got zapped all the time, so I returned it.

Never heard of Tineco until I did some research and it was a Staff pick by Consumer Reports. Love the see through aspect as I can see when and if there’s an issue. Haven’t had one but just in case. The attachments make it so easy to clean my curtains, blinds and getting under things.

I also love that it goes from wood floors to rug with ease. I’ve always been a Shark fan but I can truly say I’m blown away by this vacuum and won’t be going back to Shark. My only issue that really isn’t much of one but the canister needs to be emptied more frequently.

The Pros far outweigh the One Con.

IšverstiShow in original languageThe Tineco A10 Tango is an excellent cordless vacuum! It’s lightweight and powerful as an upright or a handheld, and I like the accessories that it comes with. It pulls lots of dirt out of the carpet and makes it easy to do so.

Design I like the grip is gun-like, with a trigger, making it very easy to hold and use. You can pull the trigger, activating the vacuum only while it’s pulled, or engage a lock to keep it running without holding the trigger.

The top has a “Max” button you can push for more power at the expense of battery life. There are four filters on this thing. One you are to rinse and dry every three months and then replace once a year.

Another you are to rinse and dry monthly and replace every 6 months. It comes with a second on of those filters and even an attachment to use the vacuum to clean it – very cool and easy to use! The various attachments are easy to take on and off with the large and simple rocker switches.

They even include a wall-mount that holds the vacuum and three accessories. Accessories This comes with a bunch of accessories. I already mentioned the tool to help clean the one filter. Besides that it includes: – The full size brush for carpets – The full size foam roller for hard and flat surfaces – The mini power brush for upholstered furniture and mattresses – The 2 in 1 dusting brush, this attachment lets you use or not use the dusting brush making it like two attachments – The crevice tool They also include a small tool to remove hair that may be tangled around the rollers Battery Live They say 25 minutes of run time.

I haven’t timed it but would have guessed it is more. It’s been plenty for a number of jobs I’ve used it for – running longer than I expected between charges. Function It works great! It’s very easy to maneuver, turning it tightly with ease around corners, I’ve used it many times on carpet and hard flooring.

I like the way they give the second roller for hard floors as many vacuums instead give you a way to turn off the roller instead. I’ve also been very happy with how well it pulls dirt out from the carpet, pulling out dirt from a carpet I thought would have been cleaner than it was.

It seems powerful for a battery powered vacuum. I’ve also used it for cleaning a number of hard to get at vents in our house. The bristles are long on the brush attachment which made it possible to get into the vents farther, cleaning them more thoroughly.

Summary This serves well as a handheld and upright cordless vacuum. Again, it has a lot of power for a cordless vacuum! There two minor negatives I can think of. One is when you empty dirt you may need to take out the parts in the chamber where the dirt is.

The other negative is that when you use it as an upright I think the neck should be able to go down farther. It goes down far and you will get under most furniture and probably more than you would with any conventional upright, but it doesn’t go down to where the handle touches the floor.

The design makes the front where the roller is lift off the floor it you try to do that. With the power and functionality it’s still easily a 5 star vacuum.

IšverstiShow in original languageRecently purchased the A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum for the upstairs of the house. We have two cats that shed hair here and there so we decided an extra stick vacuum on the upper floor would be so convenient.

We already own a Tineco A10 Dash vacuum and use it for our kitchen and main floor hallways and very pleased with it so it was not difficult to decide upon getting another Tineco product. Our new A10 Hero works great on our hardwood floors and comes with numerous useful attachments.

My favourite is the mini power brush attachment as it really comes in handy to convert to a handheld vacuum to clean the chair pads and the tops of the beds after our cats finish their naps. This vacuum is lightweight, has a fixed on trigger option and being cordless it really is perfect for us seniors.

So glad we bought another one.

IšverstiShow in original languageHabe mir den Bosch Staubsauger gekauft, da dieser günstig in der Anschaffung war und auch einen 10 Meter Arbeitsradius hat. Des weiteren war mir ein großer Beutel wichtig, da die meisten Staubsauger eher einen kleinen Beutel haben und dieser öfter gewechselt werden muss.

Die Bewertungen für diesen Sauger waren meistens zufriedenstellend, wenngleich auch einige Bewertungen schlecht ausfielen. Hier einige Gründe für die schlechte Bewertung: zu laut im Betrieb, Kabeleinzug sehr hakelig, Handstück löst sich vom Rohr, keine separate Luftzuführung über Handstück.

Leider muss ich sagen, dass diese negativ Bewertungen zutreffen. Warum hat Bosch nicht einfach am Rohr (welches auf das Handstück gesteckt wird) eine Kunststoffverjüngung verbaut, damit sich das Saugrohr nicht vom Handstück löst.

Dieses ist mir am Anfang sehr oft abgefallen, was jetzt nicht mehr passiert, da sich das Rohr durch den Sturz auf dem Fliesenboden verformt hat und ich jetzt das Handstück nur mit Mühe aufstecken kann.

Auch ein schnelles wechseln auf die Polsterdüse ist jetzt schwerfälliger, weil wie vorher schon beschrieben. Auch der Kabeleinzug ist nicht unbedingt das Nonplusultra. Sollte man während des Saugens mit dem Kabel irgendwo hängenbleiben, rollt sich das Kabel automatisch in den Sauger zurück, was man nicht unbedingt sofort merkt und sich dann wundert, warum der Sauger so schwerfällig hinter einem herrollt.

Auch die Kabelrückführung in den Sauger gelingt nicht immer sofort, was hin und wieder 4 bis 5 Versuche braucht bis der Sauger merkt, dass er das Kabel wieder einrollen soll. Die Lautstärke ist noch zu ertragen, wenn man die niedrigste Stufe wählt, aber je höher die Saugleistung gewählt wird umso lauter wird dieser.

Meines Erachtens wird der Motor auch lauter je voller der Beutel wird, obwohl ich in der niedrigsten Stufe sauge. Diese Fehler sind sicherlich zu verzeihen, doch bei einem Hersteller mit diesem Namen ein absolutes No Go.

Jetzt werden sich sicher einige Leser fragen, warum gibt er den Sauger nicht einfach zurück, er hat doch ein 14 tägiges Rückgaberecht. Doch ich bin kein Mensch der sich etwas kauft und weil das gekaufte nicht so ist wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe, zurückgibt.

Der Sauger tut das was er soll und auch der Preis geht in Ordnung und darum behalte ich das Gerät. Nur würde mir wünschen der Hersteller nimmt meine Bewertung zum Anstoß und behebt die “FEHLER” die ich hier angegeben habe.

IšverstiShow in original languageDer Bosch wurde als Ersatz für einen älteren Siemens Staubsauger ähnlicher Bauart angeschafft, da wir damit auch sehr zufrieden waren. Der Staubsauger hat eine sehr gute Saugleistung sowohl auf Teppich als auch Hartböden.

Ich verwende meistens die Hartbodendüse, die im Lieferumfang dabei war. Ich nutze ausschließlich die original Bosch Staubsaugerbeutel, diese haben eine sehr hohe Kapazität und super Filterleistung. Der Staubsauger wird bei uns täglich mindestens 2 mal benutzt und muss Katzenstreureste, Katzenhaare, trockene Katzenfutterkrümel und alles andere an “normalen” Hausstaub aufnehmen.

Auch die Flusen aus dem Wäschetrockner werden mit dem Sauger regelmäßig aufgesaugt. Alles dies macht der Sauger einwandfrei und ohne einen unangenehmen Geruch zu verbreiten. Wir tauschen die Beutel aus Hygienegründen nach einem Monat, sie sind dann aber noch lange nicht voll.

Wer also nicht so viel saugt kann mit einem original Beutel sicher 3 Monate oder langer auskommen. Wir haben nach 5 Monaten zusätzlich einen original Bosch HEPA Ausblasfilter nachgerüstet, das ist aber nicht unbedingt notwendig, da auch mit dem normal verbauten Filter eine sehr gute Staubabscheidung gegeben ist.

Als einzigen Nachteil würde ich sehen, dass das Zubehör nicht im oder am Staubsauger verstaut werden kann. Alles in alles ein super Staubsauger zu einem guten Preis.

Jako je tih, ima veliku vučnu snagu, lako podešavanje jačine u odnosu na to da li usisavate nameštaj, parket ili tepih (ili prosto želite da iskoristite njegov MAXimum ili da uživate u tome koliko je čak i sa MINimalnom snagom bolji od ostalih usisivača)! Kabal se sam uvlači/izvlači po potrebi tako da nema potrebe za bespotrebnim saplitanjem koje nas sve (sigurna sam) jako frustrira.

Preporučujem od srca. Pritom za tu cenu ne možete naći ni približno dobar usisavač. Odličan spoj cene, kvaliteta i elegancije. Pritom je usisivač toliko mali da staje na jednu policu u ormaru. Sve pohvale!.

IšverstiShow in original languageMan bekommt mit dem Sauger sehr viel Zubehr. Besonders praktisch finden wir die Rolle fr glatte Bden, gerade bei Katzenhaaren auf Vinylboden ziemlich ntzlich. Die Rolle hat einen eigenen Motor, luft nicht ber Luftzug.

Der Akku hlt auf der kleinen Stufe wirklich ungefhr bis zur angegebenen ganzen Stunde. Natrlich auf der mittleren oder hohen Stufe weniger, aber da auch gut lange. Aber fr das tgliche schnelle durchsaugen reicht die kleine Stufe.

Man kann aber sowieso whrend dem Betrieb zwischen den verschiedenen Stufen umschalten, wenn es notwendig ist. Auf der Turbostufe/Hohen Stufe ist die Saugkraft wirklich gut. Was man nicht machen sollte, ist das Gert schnell hintereinander ein- und ausschalten (Sollte man eigentlich mit keinem elektronischen Gert machen, weil alles zu warm wird).

Da schaltet der Akku irgendwann ab weil er zu warm wird. In dem Fall muss man halt ein paar Minuten warten bis er wieder abkhlt, er nimmt aber keinen Schaden davon. Wenn man den Akku auf der Turbostufe geleert hat, sollte man auerdem ein paar Minuten warten, bis man ihn aufladen sollte.

Aber das ist selbstverstndlich, sobald man sich ein wenig mit Elektrik und Wrmeentwicklung auskennt. 😉 Zur Ordnung gibt es die Wandhalterung dazu, auf die man das Gert einfach aufhngen und es gleichzeitig aufladen kann.

Auerdem kann man alle Zubehrteile mit dranstecken damit die sauber aufgerumt sind. Das Gewicht vom Gert ist angenehm zu halten, auch wenn das saugen lnger dauert. Mit Verlngerung in die Ecken an der Decke zu saugen merkt man schon etwas aber das ist ja wegen dem weiten Schwerpunkt normal.

Das liegt dann auch nicht mehr am Gert selbst. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Gert. Ja, es gibt andere Sauger mit mehr Leistung oder Batteriekapazitt. Aber es gibt im Gegensatz auch definitiv schlechtere Sauger.

Fr um die 200 bekommt man ein echt gutes Gert, man macht hier berhaupt nichts verkehrt.

IšverstiShow in original languageThe reviews are correct, this is an amazing product for the money, and dare I say it, I think it’s better than Dyson. The word that sums it up is “Nimble”, it is so light and sleek and glides effortlessly over tiles and carpet.

The way the attachments slide into place is so smooth and easy, it’s a total joy. The colour is heaps nicer, white and titanium, looks sleek and futuristic. I also like that you can slide the brushes up or down the shaft depending on preference.

Why spend over a thousand dollars when this costs $300 (I got product care too as it was such a bargain!) The battery lasts as long as it takes for me to feel like i’ve done an adequate job of vacuuming every room in my house, and suction is great, there is even a max speed setting which is really good.

I’m happy with the small collection unit, it’s so easy to empty, I’d rather do that more, than carry a bigger heavier model around. Definately a 5 star review from me. Let’s hope it lasts more than 6 months!.

IšverstiShow in original languageMon ancien aspirateur traîneau ayant rendu l’âme, je me suis tourné vers un aspirateur balai. Ca change du tout au tout, il faut s’habituer au début car il pèse plus lourd (car on doit le tenir sur un seul bras), mais il est tout aussi efficace.

On peut le prendre à tout moment pour l’utiliser, sans s’encombrer d’un fil électrique, et sans avoir à changer de prise électrique pour faire toute la maison. C’est simple, la maison est beaucoup plus propre ! La batterie a l’air de bien tenir la charge, pour ma maison de 90 m² de plain-pied, c’est amplement suffisant (il me reste 2 points/3 de batterie après une session de nettoyage).

Ca aspire bien (carrelage et parquet, sans oublier les poils du chat). Cet aspi est aussi pratique pour la voiture, il prend moins de place qu’un aspi classique et je peux l’utiliser plus souvent du coup.

J’espère juste qu’il tiendra bien dans le temps, à voir ! Le prix est intéressant, beaucoup moins cher qu’une autre marque très connue, mais il a l’air tout aussi efficace. Pourquoi dépenser plus ?.
