These are very elegant sconces. They look much better up even thought the description states they can also be placed down. We used in a craftsman master bath.

I know that I overpaid for these lights, and I’m sick about it. With everything going on with this remodel, I’ve kind have lost track of things. It’s not worth the money…it even feels plastic-y. 🙁

This is a nice updated vanity light bar for our new master. It was installed easily and looks great in our newly renovated space. The finish looks great with our brushed nickel faucets. In the box, I got a little nervous as it did look like it would be too heavy looking but on the wall the proportions turned out perfect.

This light is very nice for the price. If you are looking for a light fixture that will work well with any color bathroom fixtures — this is it. Overall it has a brushed gold color but it also picks up silver and rose gold colors.

We had to use butterfly anchors to add a more secure installation — it is a heavy light. This is a beautiful light that has a custom look. It is functional and offers plenty of light for a standard size bathroom.

Shipping was very fast and the light arrived in perfect condition!.

The light itself is good quality. However the color of the metal is not the same as the picture. I was expecting a deeper brass color that is similar to what is on trend. It was a champagne color. Ended up having to spray paint it.

Which actually doesn’t look too bad. Looked on Google and saw other pictures of the same light; each showed various shades of brass and silver.

I bought two of these for my large (300 sq ft) basement office, and they’re perfect. Plenty of light, a pleasant color (basically neutral, maybe just a tick to the warm side), good diffusion with no glare or shadows.

The fixtures are plain but not bad-looking. They’ve really kicked the space up a notch.

This is a quality fixture. It is capable of bringing bright light to a significant area through its four lights, each of which can accommodate up to a 100-watt bulb. It is pricey – but, to me, worth it.

I have wanted to change the ugly 80’s gold light fixture above my guest bath mirror since we bought our house ten years ago. It’s 119 years old so the cosmetic stuff has been at the bottom of the to fo list.

I was so happy when, as part of the Spark Reviewer program, I got the opportunity to get this fixture. The fixture came packed in its original box so just know that when delivered it shows on the shipping box exactly what it is.

Everything was intact upon opening the box and all parts that should be in the box were there. It is EXACTLY what I had in mind for that bathroom! I mounted mine with the globe opening facing the ceiling due to how low the existing wiring was in relation to the mirror/medicine cabinet – had I mounted it the other way I would not have been able to open the medicine cabinet.

It does not come with bulbs – Edison bulbs are pictured but I went with LED bulbs since this is the main lighting for this bathroom. The globes are clear glass, which is what I wanted. I love how it turned out.

Install directions were pretty straight forward – had it not been going where there was an existing fixture I would have hired an electrician to install it. It only took me about 15 minutes – start to finish – to remove my old fixture and get this one up and running.

My brand new Savoy House Octave vanity light fixture is so very lovely! The unit arrived sturdily packed, and with all of the necessary mounting hardware included. My first impression when removing it from the box was how handsome its beautiful, brushed nickel surface looked! It also has significant weight to it, unlike some flimsy units.

Mounting this light fixture was a breeze, as it comes with all of the detailed instructions you will need for doing so. The light itself works wonderfully, and is rated to work in damp environments, such as a bathroom.

I put some trendy, 75W Edison-style bulbs in it, and it looks so sharp and classy! The only thing I’m only slightly disappointed with is that each bulb fixture is rather close to the one next to it, but the overall beauty and quality of this vanity light certainly makes up for that.

This wall sconce is a perfect fit for my hallway that leads to the living room. It’s super complimentary with the brushed nickel and doesn’t stick out to far nor is it to wide/long. It’s the perfect size on my wall and gives off just enough lighting so that I can see yet isn’t too bright or too dark.

I plan on buying one so I can add it to the hallway about seven feet before this one so there’s one at each end. It really is a perfect addition to my home and have received quite a few compliments on it.

It was easy enough to install that my husband had it installed and ready to go in under ten minutes.

It is a BEAUTIFUL light fixture and goes perfectly with the vanity and mirror in my bathroom. It’s a bit pricey, but I’m pleased.

I ordered the all black fixture. The one I received was not an all black fixture. The bar and the shades were black. The base of the fixture was an antique brass. I still like it.

There are lights, then there’s this beauty! Bright, white, goes right on when you hit the switch. I love the shape, the details in the assembly and mostly how it brings the whole bath design together.

This product was just what I wanted for our renovation of our downstairs bar and game room. I liked that the fixture had the up or down lighting. In addition , having the option to dim the lights was a deciding factor in choosing this model I have ordered other lighting from SeaGull and they stand by their product.

This is the second time I have purchase this type of light. I can get the correct lighting I need when I added a dimmer. I like the option of having the light up or down. Great quality on the metal too.

This light is absolutely beautiful and incredibly modern. One review here says the 3500K is “cool”. Not sure what they are talking about, 3500-3700K is almost pure white just like you find at a high end department store.

It is the perfect color to work / view local color in as there is almost no color change in surfaces from the light. I would say if you are coming from a 2500-2700K temperature, this will be a big change in your eyes but the light is nothing close to “cool”.

As for quality, this is my 7th WAC / Modern Forms product and I can say the quality is definitely there. Perhaps not quite as high quality as my Blackjack products, but the price point is much lower and the quality is almost on par.

The only issue I have with the quality is this is the first WAC / Modern Forms product I have purchased with a very slight (probably between 250 – 500 MS) delay in light activation. This is most likely due to the fact the transformer requires manual installation instead of coming from the factory soldered.

If WAC continues down this path of ultra slim, modern products with manually installed transformers – they need to figure out how to keep the instant activation quality on par with their other products.

Finally – there are a few things to know for installation: 1. The transformer requires manual mounting to a junction box or stud. If you have a junction box, I would recommend removing it as most junction boxes are larger than the ultra low profile back plate which requires you to use the conversion plate the light comes with which ruins the slim look this light has.

I removed my junction box from the wall and mounted the transformer with electrical tape backing, then screwed it into a stud. 2. If you do not recess your house wires into the wall you will most likely not be able to mount the light due to the ultra thin back plate.

One review said the screws are not the right size or something – mine mounted perfectly fine with provided screws but IF I used the large caps you need to tie into new construction house wires and did not recess those wires into the wall (meaning you tried to hide them in the back plate area itself) they will prevent the back plate from going flush with the mounting screw holes and you will need to figure out an alternative method to mount the light.

3. The back plate is most likely not going to align with studs since you really should remove your junction box. I can say the back plate is quite easy to drill or dremel through to make new mounting holes so that should be an easy problem to resolve with basic tools, a stud in the right location and a drywall anchor.

There are very few LED light fixtures being offered with a whiter shade of white light. The color temperature of 3500 K is much better than the yellower, old fashioned, incandescent lights from the past.

This is my 4th such LED fixture with this color spectrum light output. I just replaced my 24″ long LED fixture with this 36″ long model to get better side lighting as I shave and it works great. Wish I had bought it the first time but, I feared it would be too bright, but it isn’t.

It is the same intensity with better coverage.

I just love how this light fit in my powder room. It is very modern but not overly. It gives out plenty of light and bring excitement into the room. Great product ! Great transaction as well! Very perfect.

This ticked all our boxes. We wanted a fixture with a solid, rectangular base rather than the little circular base with the bar {which are hard to clean!}. We wanted a finish that didn’t read too silvery or chrome like {as the bathroom has a lot of warm tones in it}.

We liked the traditional look – in our 1950s bathroom! We also think this is a good fixture for the price. On the downside, one of the arms was a bit bent, so we had to adjust that. And of course the glass globes aren’t of the best quality.

So, if buying in store, I’d open the box and have a look.

It pretty much looks like the picture, except the glass isn’t perfect. There are slight bubbles or scratches in the surface all around the top portion of the glass. It’s not extremely noticeable. It’s not like it’s an expensive light fixture.

I guess you get what you pay for. It was packaged well, so it didn’t happen via shipping. Installation was pretty easy.

I bought this light a couple of months ago but when it was installed several weeks later I noticed that the frosting on one of the glass shades was not consistent so when the light is on it looks like there is a greasy patch on the inside of the shade.

It’s not a huge deal but it is very distracting and I think takes away from the overall look of the fixture which is quite nice. If I had been installing it myself I might have returned it for another one.

I was having my bathroom remodel and found this light. I love it! I purchased it in September and even though I checked it upon receiving it, I did not notice the crack in one of the glass globes until I put it up and you could see it with the light shining in it.

Unfortunately, bathroom was not completed until a couple of weeks ago, and it was past the return date. Reached out to sellers and manufacture but am having no luck finding a replacement globe. Just letting anyone who buys one, to hold the globes up to a light and check it really well.

Installed 3 of these lights 2 years ago and now replacing. The washer that holds the shade in place is barely threaded so any vibration in house (ie: washing machine, trucks driving by) causes washer to drop.

After 1 shade fell into my sink and shattered, I checked the rest and 3 more were loose. One hanging just by the wires! That one we actually couldn’t remove the washer because it was so poorly threaded and had to cut the wires to remove the shade.

Additionally they take G9 light bulbs so if you touch the bulb, they burn out. Therefore you need small monkey hands to tighten or remove the washer without burning out the bulb!.

This is a quality light fixture and looks so stylish. We needed to “upgrade” our kitchen and are slowly starting the process. A friend helped my husband assemble the light fixture and we got a new kitchen table.

The Oslo light fixture gives excellent lighting and looks great in the kitchen!.

I think the lamp is great in appearance. Although I had a little difficulty with the instructions,and had to cut the stem a little, otherwise the installation was easy. i highly recommend this product.

Very pretty and seems to be of good, solid quality. It arrived with a few scratches, but I doubt they’d have been noticable once installed. Color just didn’t match our existing decor, so we returned it without ever installing it.

Too bad because it really is a nice fixture.

This is a great little light. I shopped around for some time and noticed many different lights that looked exactly the same under different manufacturer names and at drastically different prices. I found this one to be the most affordable and it doesn’t seem like I compromised much by purchasing this light over one that was 2X as costly.

I would buy it again!.

The light looks great. The extra black trim around the shade makes it stand out with a good look and not just a plain light fixture. As noted in other reviews, it is somewhat difficult to attach the shade.

There is an include tool with a cup end to help, but the cup end of the tool needs to be longer to include the spacer along with that that is screwed on to hold the shade onto the fixture.

I really am fond of this light. As a designer, I’m always looking for cutting edge looks to give to my clients. This light fits Asian interiors well and also the Craftsman look of the 1920’s

I love the timeless design of this bath vanity light and the fact that it is dimmable. It made for a huge improvement over an existing 50-year-old light fixture. Ordering was easy and shipping super-fast.

Light did not light although power was present on output of transformer. I fixed by reseating jammed color temperature lock.

I like the contemporary design of this light fixture as I wanted clean and simple. It is a nice quality fixture. We put a dimmer on it. It’s really bright with no dimmer and may be what you want if you need bright light and don’t care about ambiance.

Also at the same time had our electrician install an led light in our shower. The led in the shower is much warmer whereas this fixture is icy cold like fluorescent lighting and after living with it for a month I will be replacing it because I don’t like the light at all.

Makes your face look really ugly in the mirror if you are in your 60’s! Did not have room for side lights in our situation so thought this would work since the light is diffused. Even when dimmed does not do the trick for me.

The quality of my bathroom light fixture is beyond expectation. Fits perfectly in the space above the bathroom sink and was very easy to install. It looks wonderful and works great. I also wanted to mention that the packaging is perfect, my granddaughter picked up the box and dropped it, I was so scared when I opened it to find it in a million pieces.

Love these light bars. Everything was perfect when it arrived and they look beautiful in our newly remodeled bathrooms. Simple and sleek design with a bit of elegance. After searching and searching for that perfect product we were excited to finally find these.

We were redoing all the light fixtures in our bathrooms, purchased 2 of these for our daughters bathroom. They look nice but be careful the strength of the bulb as we have them just over their mirrors and because the glass is clear, the light was almost blinding.

We had to go with low wattage lights, not an issue at all… light looks beautiful now.

This is an excellent light that looks and performs beautifully. It can be hard to tell the quality of the construction from photos, but everything from the glass to the metal base is made of top-notch materials–this light does not look “cheap” in the least.

The LED light itself is also fantastic, providing a large amount of light for the size (we went from three 60w incandescents to this, the 24 inch version, in our powder room, and it’s brighter than ever) and a pleasing color warmth.

The only negative I can think to mention is that it can be difficult to install if either end of the glass tube is going to be near a wall or other obstruction, since there are metal plates which must be screwed on from either end.

If there’s not enough room to look at the light end-on during installation, it will leave you fumbling to find the screw holes (for very tiny screws!) largely by feel and luck. You’ll also want two people on hand during the installation, since it’s difficult or impossible to both support the light and make the wiring connections on one’s own; but this isn’t a knock against this light in particular, as any bath bar is going to run into the same difficulty.

This is a great light. I own two other lights from this brand and they are quality and have the modern aesthetic I am looking for. The LED unit uses high quality components and appears well made. The light was more than adequate.

The glass is well made. All the parts appear to be high quality. HOWEVER, the quality of the chrome plating is sub par. There are subtle lines, not an even smooth surface as I expect chrome to look like.

This was a big deal for me because I was going to flank two on the sides of a mirror. That’s close to eye level and the poor chrome job would have annoyed me. I would have kept it if it was being used as a single light above the mirror.

The loft led bath bar by Modern Forms was by far a great choice. I purchased two bar lights and placed them along each side of my bathroom mirror. You definitely need a dimmer switch as these are very bright.

Lumens sells a low voltage dimmer that does not buzz when turned down low. Customer service went above and beyond, as I had one of the shades with a defect on it. I called Lumens customer service and had a new shade in 5 Days.

Purchased for the master bath. It’s a clean, elegant, yet simple design. The light is well built and solid. Nope that the light colour temperature is 3000 which although is perfect for a bathroom, I prefer the 5000 daylight range.

The only thing that could make it better would be to have an adjustable colour temp range (3000, 4000, 5000).

Lovely item, it just didn’t suit our ‘pool bathroom’ so we returned it. We did keep the bigger version that we also purchased for another bathroom as it worked better with the decor.

I purchased these a month ago and they are everything. My bathroom is fresh, glamorous and warm because these lights make a beautiful atmosphere.
