20 Best Lights For Bathroom Mirror (2023 Updated)

Well these lights are impressive. They’re nice and bright and of good quality which was a surprise! Such a great tool for correct makeup application. It’s exactly what I’ve needed for many many years as my bathroom’s heat lamp/light combo, doesn’t give ideal light for seeing my face properly.

One bit of advice. If you have a really large mirror of say 1200800mm + and wish to hide the wires as much as possible by going around the outer edges of the mirror, get the 14 bulb version rather than the 10 bulb one like I should’ve! It’ll look amazing! The bulbs won’t fall off, the sticky pads are REALLY good so get placement correct first time or they’re hard to reposition (as I discovered).

You get spare tape and all in all, it’s a nice quality product. Would make a great gift too.

The major improvement regarding the makeup lights I recently bought would be to use yellow lights instead of blue/white. Yellow would more easily mimic natural sunlight, thus providing a more natural skin tone to work with.

At first I was skeptical but after receiving I was amazed. The lighting is perfect and really easy to set up. I highly recommend you lay down your mirror first and before unpeeling the backs of lights.

fix the alignment on how you want it. then stick on. If you’re mirror is uncapable of being laid down. have a friend help. My only issue was I wish it came with more extra sticker backs but that’s fine.

The light is amazing and overall worth the money!! Perfect for applying makeup and even great light for pictures.

I was looking everywhere for lighted mirrors of this size, and finally I found them at Houzz and ordered two of them. I have to say I was extremely sceptical, but they arrived in PERFECT condition, and were packed extremely well (the only problem being that the packing is sterofoam and it sort of makes a mess).

I also doubted that my contractor could get them installed properly, but he did it, and they look great and operate as they are supposed to. These worked out perfectly for me and look great in my bathroom.

This lighting fixture is gorgeous and fots in great with my newly remodeled, modernized bathroom. The installation was quick and not as complicated as I imagined it would be. Kichler always gives very good, detailed instruction manuals.

The fixture gives me great lighting in my bathroom and was a well needed upgrade from what I had. I love the 3 lights and the brightness I get from them. The new mirrors arrived very quickly. I have never seen a product packaged as well as these mirrors and I worked for a large company in shipping and receiving for 33 years. Installation is quite simple.

These are high quality products and would not hesitate to recommend them to any one doing a bath remodel or new construction. They provide plenty of light for all your bath needs and tasks.

First, this is the clearest mirror that I have ever seen. As you can also see it’s beautiful and although the photo may not express, the mirror with double 6000k LED, lights my powder room perfectly without any additional lighting! I made a mistake when I ordered this mirror with dimming option in that I didn’t install the correct wiring to use the dimming function.

It was clearly stated in the documentation but I made the wrong assumption and I didn’t want to tear out the wall again…my bad (if all else fails, I read instructions). I decided to rewire it with both 6000k LEDs at 100% when on but wasn’t sure how to do that so I called in and asked to speak with an engineer.

They put me straight through! It’s a good thing I did because my guess would have been wrong and who knows? The engineer was so helpful and clear as to his understanding of my problem and clear with the solution.

It what exactly what I expected to be. Standard,up to date styling, and functional.

Nice made, heavy (real) glass shade. The brightness of the LED is very YELLOW which was disappointing for my taste — and I doubt I can return as I have already hung it. I like the WHITE LIGHT of the LED’s.

I will likely look for another one to replace it and sell it online.

For one person, it can be a bit tricky to attach the light to the glass shade at install, but once done the results are beautiful. Plenty of light with a warm tone. Get a quality dimmer and you are set.

Good product easy to install. I did not think about the trim piece that covers the electrical box and this one was smaller than the original. I noticed after removing the old fixture that I had some unpainted areas that the new light would not cover.

I had to paint the wall before installing the new fixture.

The mirror was in good shape and was easy to hang. The controls are fairly straightforward and the client instantly was able to operate the dimmer features and defogger. It’s lightweight and idi recommend two people for handling the mirror while it is wired.

It was hard to find instructions and hardware, which didn’t include screws for attachment. I’m not sure much instruction was required as it was a simple installation. I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in backlit mirrors.

I will be purchasing many for my clients in the future.

I have purchased four mirrors from Fab Glass, various sizes. They all arrived in good condition, the packaging was excellent. And the installation was straightforward and easy. My wife loves the mirrors, especially the dimming and color options.

The GOOD – quality clear glass shades are thick with no blemishes or deformity. Perfect. The BAD – metal fixture base deformities and finials incorrectly orientated (N/S) with oversized holes. The SAVE: beautiful design, sales/open box prices.

The FIX easy to re-orient (E/W) the finials to secure properly and hide defects. I bought all 4 sizes.

This was not skeet at all. Glass is thick and fixture is heavy. The electrician said a reinforcement would be needed before mounting on the existing electrical panel. So I decided to return it. Returning in store was not pleasant because this is “marketplace.

” Cashier seemed confused and mumbled about a delay in feeding my card.

Handsome vanity light that works beautifully in our newly renovated guest bathroom where all of the fixtures are chrome. The recommended bulb shape was a candle but we went with regular shaped bulbs and it seems to be fine?.

Purchased the black as a birthday gift for my son. I opened the box to inspect it, looks great, it’s beautiful. It was packaged very well. I think he’s going to love it.

Zero stars because the light is not bright enough be used with a vanity! There was no way I could see well enough to shave by it nor could my wife put on makeup by such a weak light. We returned it, which was fairly easy, but we did waste contractors time which we were billed for.

It’s nice looking and very minimalist but it feels cheap in quality (especially for the price) and it’s not very bright even at the highest of the 3 settings.

The product is OK but I expected it to be brighter at full brightness without being dimmed.

I thought it was bigger bulbs, it’s kinda like plastic. Not good quality.

The mirror and lighting are generally nice. What the product information fails to make clear is that the mirror light can not be turned on and off by a wall switch. It does indicate it is “hard wired” but so is any light fixture.

If you wire the mirror through a wall switch in the hopes that it can be turned on when you enter the room and off when you leave, you are out of luck. It can only be operated by the touch switch on the face of the mirror.

To me this is an unacceptable installation detail and is causing problems with my customer accepting the product. I suggest you seek an alternate.

These mirrors make a freshly painted bathroom go from cheap to chic very quickly! I love them. The defogger works wonderfully. Very sleek!

One of my favorite parts of our home addition! We purchased 3 & they look so sharp in our bathrooms. The anti-fog feature is a nice touch as well.

These bulbs illuminated our bathroom vanity with the ideal amount of light. I chose the warm white 3000k bulbs after reading other reviews because I needed something bright enough for my aging eyes but not so bright that it would make me blind.

Locally, it was difficult to find these bulbs.

The lights flash subtle but intermittently. Rougly once per second, but not always. Gets really annoying. All lights in the two boxes of 6 I purchased have this same problem. Would return, but need lights.

These are very good bulbs at the best price around that I could find. However, the colors emitted are not absolutely perfect as a philips bulb would be, just close. Like one Amazon reviewer said, about this Tourchstar brand, great for a guest bathroom, or any bathroom, you do not need for the exact and perfect color of your cloths (he used a spectrophotometer, if I am remembering correctly, because he had one and was in a business that needed one).

This is bright when you need it in a bathroom. I love the look. It was easy to install. Just the right size for a small bathroom that needs some light. I will try a dimmer to see if that works. VERY happy.

We got this for our bathroom as part of a remodel that we did. The lights came on time and were packaged well. They look really pretty and definitely liven up the place. It has a very modern feel as well.

A couple of concerns. Just finished installation of an Essence 3 in our downstairs washroom. The first is that of the three light pods the furthest right was slightly off perfectly vertical (about 3 degrees, not enough to return, but still).

The second is the colour temperature, while it says 3000k expect it to look more blue/white. Now having said that I’m happy enough to update our two other bathrooms similarly.

We have a windowless ensuite that used to have a halogen fixture that felt too dark. We bought this unit because it had a high lumen rating. It’s beautiful, and contemporary. The light is whiter than in the image on this page, which is how we viewed it in store – so exactly as we expected.

We liked it so much, we got another for another bathroom. Haven’t installed a dimmer switch, but I might.

This light is beautiful! I have searched for lights that were similar, but all of them were too white, making the powder room cold and uninviting. A light for the powder room should be soft in color and dramatic in design, this light is both.

This lamp looks luxurious and beautiful. The light is a bit too yellow for my taste but over all stunning. It’s heavy which makes it seem way more expensive than it actually is, and it completed my bathroom renovation beautifully.

The design and craftsmanship are exceptional with this product. It looks much better than the poor photos. My only disappointment is with the color temperature. The spec’s say the color temp is 3000 K but I’d estimate it at closer to 2500 K, very warm/yellow light.

I would prefer a cooler/whiter higher temperature light for a bathroom. Our white bathroom now looks like it has yellow walls. I love the design and craftsmanship or I’d have already returned it. I’ll see if I get used to it.

Often hard to tell from online pictures whether the item will look nice or cheap up close, so happy to report that this fixture looks solid and well made, and the metal trim (in our case, nickel) particularly attractive.

We mounted it horizontally over the vanity and currently use it in conjunction with the overhead, ceiling lights. We have it attached to a pre-existing dimmer, what I thought was a low voltage dimmer as specified for the product, but using the dimmer causes it to flicker non-stop at some of the lower light levels.

Not sure if this is a function of the fixture, LEDs or if we have the wrong type of dimmer, but until we do we can’t use the sconce at the lower levels for mood lighting. The product arrived in good condition within the stated time frame.
