Lighting a small kitchen can be tricky. You want to make sure the space is well lit, but you don’t want to overwhelm it with too many light fixtures. A good rule of thumb is to choose a light fixture for each major task area in the kitchen.

Despite having to wait two months after I placed my order and having to pay upfront and wait, this is a great light for the price. Customer service with regards to when I would ever get the fixture as it was on backorder was severely lacking despite their daily marketing emails which became an annoyance.
This fixture is a knock off of a fixture costing at least 3X this price after the sale price and first time buyer discount. I held my breath until the box came, but it was delivered intact and all parts were there.
Assembly was easy and my husband said install went by with no incidence. The finish is a dull gold with an overall black sponging affect over the gold which gives the fixture an antiqued look that I feel would work with almost any decor, If you like the fixture itself there’s always Rub N Buff or spray paint to change the finish to almost anything you could want.
The 12 inch size is perfect by my front door which is an area about 7 ft x 7ft before the foyer continues toward the living room. There is a rule of thumb to add dimensions of the area you want to light and convert that to inches to get an idea of what size fixture to get and this worked will for my space.
Example: a 7 ft by 7 ft foyer would add up to 14 ft then convert 14 ft to inches = 14 inches and a 14 inch fixture should work sidewise. This light is close enough at 12 inches. I felt the 16″ would be too overpowering.
Maximum light bulb wattage is 60 watts per bulb, but with 4 sockets, four 25 watt bulbs is more than sufficient for my space. I will even put a dimmer on it to have even more control and ambience. Overall very pleased.
Would consider buying again from Bellacor but I am not a big shopper in general and less of an internet shopper and I may just consider this beginners luck. But if I cant find anything reasonable in stores (and why ARE light fixtures so expensive?) I would definitely turn here.
I bought the Visual Comforts version (RH) of this light for a new construction house. larger than this but not worth the $1,000. 00 price tag I paid. Looks nice, Good quality. But we were out of lighting budget by the time we decided we needed a light in the master bathroom.
This bathroom is HUGE and needed something substantial. I was hesitant to buy this version without the name brand and for a luxury home. When we received it: It came packed very well, in a crate type box, and delivered by a crate delivery service.
I’ve not had that with an online light purchase. However, when I opened the box it looked kind of a copper color and more faux finish than I thought it should be. I almost sent it back, but I am so glad I didn’t!!! Once it was hung and the bulbs were in, it looks amazing and expensive and coordinates well with the brass finishes in the bathroom.
Not copper looking at all. We have Delta champagne bronze (brass) fixtures and brushed brass sconces and it looks to me like it was all chosen together. I will be buying this light again!.
These gold pendants are beautiful. They are well made and a lovely gold color. Unfortunately I did not estimate how much room 16 inch pendants would take above my island where the electrical outlets had been installed.
I had to return them as they were too large for the space.

I just completed redo’ing my entire kitchen. I installed 2 of these Progress Lighting P5012 directly overa counter that I built. Although they supply many interconnecting stainless steel rods for various hanging lengths, I only use the one, single, shortest support rod.
Installation was a snap. I used a 13-watt compact fluorescent spiral bulb to save energy. It is absoultely gorgeous. Don’t go by the photo in the advertisement. It is more spectacular in person! I also purchased 1 of the smaller version (P5011) and hung it over my kitchen sink.
They coordinated beautifully. Lighting is everything! If you are looking to change the appearence of an area, this light fixture will definitely do the trick. It would be an understatement to say that I am pleased with this product.

I bought this item a while ago for my kitchen remodel, just got it installed last week. In the description it says “Includes (2) 12″ and (2) 15″ stems” So I thought you could use either a 12″ or a 15″ stem to mount the light.
the only way to mount using a single stem is the 15″ stem as that was the only one with the right configuration, two female ends. All the others had a male and a female end. Other wise I love my light fixture, looks very elegant.
I just wish I could have mounted it closer to the ceiling.
We are very happy with this pendant lamp. The glass parts are high quality, as is the socket for the light bulb. It has a clean contemporary style that is strikingly beautiful. We had the rod cut down to fit our space.
They cut out a section from the middle and welded the 2 cut edges together so we wouldn’t lose the threaded ends. Now that it’s up we can’t find the weld seam.

Turn off the fixture. Remove shade if possible. Wipe down the glass and all metal with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials, cleaners or products with ammonia or alcohol as well as general-purpose household window or glass cleaners, which could damage the coating on the fixture.
The pendant light is well constructed, with durable materials. The metal finish appears to be durable with no scratches or blemishes. The smaller installation components are quality too, the wire nuts have metal inserts (rather than just plastic throughout) – there is adequate wire for a multitude down rod combinations, and the pivoting down rod nipple allows for installation on a sloped ceiling.
Overall the light is of excellent craftsmanship and has a pleasing aesthetic. The only items that could be improved upon would be the addition of another shorter down rod length (~ half the size of the shortest) to allow for additional length combinations, and if the gasket for the internal side of the globe was affixed to the metal trim piece (rather than 2 separate components) it would aid in installation.
I love this light. This is actually our second one of these. While this isn’t the largest pendant in this style, it is still massive. It’s such a show piece. Everyone loves the look of this light. The shape of the glass is unique and very much it’s own style.
You will need a good bit of clearance for this light to fit properly in your space. So just make sure you measure accordingly. If you have the space I would highly recommend this pendant.
Customer service was great. I needed to replace the glass in one. It would take to long to get just glass. I ordered another complete fixture. Must be getting made from another company. The shape of the glass sconce was slightly different but noticeable.
Went next to other one above island. Thankfully I had original rods and hardware. The chrome finish was sub par and didn’t have Kichler stamped in it. If I never saw the 2 I bought and needed to just buy one by itself might of thought that’s is how it is.
Really strange that they wouldn’t keep same everything. I have purchased a lot from build so I know your not selling cheap knock offs. But that’s what it looks like. I need to finish the project and hope the buyer doesn’t notice it or if does isn’t bothered.
The model number is marked the same as the other 2 I purchased. Don’t think I would buy another Kichler product but will use build. com as before.

Beautiful fixtures, great for over my kitchen peninsula! I wish there was a better way to mask the wires as they weave through the chains. There’s another style with a tube rather than chain but I do like the overall vibe of the chain.
I bought complementary fixture to go over my sink and it seems to have a slightly different color glass but overall they make wonderful statement pieces.

Gorgeous rattan pendant! I bought it for my bedroom which has a coastal, beachy style. The pendant is nicer than I expected and the soft light it gives off is gorgeous. I installed a dimmer and used an edison bulb and it sets just the right mood and light level for a bedroom.
The construction and weaving is excellent too. And the size is just right for a medium sized room, it makes a statement without being too big. Can’t say enough good things about this pendant!.
