20 Best Lifting Belts For Women (2023 Updated)

Absolutely love this belt for deadlifts and heavy squats. Has really helped my form and increased the stability for my lower back. Would recommend to anyone looking at buying a cheap beginner – intermediate belt.

Totally worth the amazing price.

This belt was bigger than expected. I worried about the XS being too small so I went with S, having a 27” waist. The two ends barely overlap a little when tightened so that limits me as far as cutting/making it any tighter, works for now.

The most annoying part is the velcro strap design. It’s like 5feet long wrapping all the way around making a release difficult/awkward. Trimming it down is the only solution but again I suppose this suits a bigger person although not sure why it’s a small then.

Also I realize 5” is a but much, 4 or 3. 5” would be better because its reaching full back brace status BUT if you have a long torso then this is your jam! Or in the market for a back brace. (5’3” for ref).

Great product , very comfortable, looks stylish and I love wearing it. The only tip I would say to other ladies is that you need to tighten it firmly as it can ride up when squatting deep. Apart from this , love , well priced and a good buy!.

This weight belt has definitely given me the support I need for my lifts. For what it is, a nylon weight belt with a velcro strap, I feel like it stays tight and allows me to flex against it and feel the support.

I do not have any concerns about the quality of this product, it is light and it is perfect for what I need. I have used leather weight belts with “punched holes” and a buckle, this works as well and was less expensive.

I would recommend this product, I like Iron Bull and their products and this one is a solid option.

The sizing chart is a bit off, I ordered XL by measuring and following the instructions on the website. It’s just too big, I’m making it work, but the chart needs to be scaled differently. The fit is alright due to the size.

And the quality seems good, while I have it as tight as it can go, it does not come loose at all and feels good.

Excellent for increasing intra abdominal pressure for the major lifts. Leather is quite stiff at the moment as it’s brand new, so it can dig into the core regions, specifically by the bony landmarks of the hip girdle and lower ribs.

However I expect this to loosen in due course after more use. Otherwise a great belt and generally comfortable.

My 3 kids have been training in MMA for the past 4 years, over time I have purchased many brands of gloves for them and I gotta say RDX are a very high quality brand and my kids really like them. I highly reccomend!.

Its a good quality product at the great price. Really gives my back good support during my workout. Would definitely recommend.

So far so good but, I’m still breaking it in. Very comfortable and, snug. Aesthetically, I love that the logo is embossed (instead of it being a contrasting color) and the belt and buckle is plain black.

Functionally, I feel supported and, I’ve been able to achieve better form during my workouts. For the next version: I suggest that a small piece of leather is sewn on the inside, on the buckle side–just enough to bridge the gap where the buckle will press into your stomach.

I just got to use it last week for the first time. It felt nice and seemed to support correctly. This is the first belt I have owned so I am learning to use it with lifting. It’s easy to cinch down and get tight for the big lifts and easy to get undone after without feeling like I’m wrestling it.

I gave this 4 stars since I was only able to use it once since receiving it.

Belt looks and feels good. Going to use this 7mm for the gym and the 10mm lever I have from here for competing. The lever belt is also fantastic and has not failed my expectations. Anything I have gotten from Gymreapers has been exceptional and I will continue to look here first.

Over time I’ve grown out of love with my thick, leather weightlifting belt. The compression was bruising my ribs and I feel it was actually slowing down my progress. I was really looking for something that wasn’t noticeable and awkward when I squat or deadlift but still able to provide bracing feedback and minor stability during heavy lifts.

The Velcro is SUPER secure and you’ll never have to worry about it coming undone during your lifts. It’s pretty amazing how tight you can crank this belt and still not have to worry about the Velcro coming undone.

brbrI plan to use this belt for 98% of my training, essentially, and use the leather belt only for max attempts. If you’re working at really high weights on you’re not used to on squats, for instance, you will notice the lack of upright support that the leather belt provides, but it’s not a huge deal for me.

You’ll get stronger abs as a result! It’s really a remarkable product, in all of it’s simplicity.

Got this belt for my youngest son based on the strength of the product and customer service reviews. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD ON AMAZON. I ordered the wrong size and their response was a prompt “what you need is on it’s way, shipping is on us and give other belt to someone who could use it”.

This is a comparison review of the fire team fit weightlifting belt and the E 26 weightlifting belt. The fire team fit belt at the bottom of my picture looks great and I love that it has 6 inch lumbar support however although the belt does fit I cant get it tight enough.

It is the same size large as the E 26 belt which does get tight enough. The fire team fit belt the metal clasp its difficult to loosen after you are done your set such I am using it for squats and deadlifts and after each set I like to unstrap it and its annoying with the fire team fit belt and easier with the E 26 beltbrMy one knock of the E 26 belt is that it is not 6 inches it is very thin more like 3 1/2 to 4 inches but it still does the job.

If the belt was 6 inch lumbar support I would definitely choose this one. brOverall I will be returning the fire team fit belt at the bottom of my picture and I will be keeping for now the E 26 belts but I am going to be looking for a belt with 6 inch lumbar support that also can tighten and loosen more easily.

I’ve had two lifting belts prior to getting this one and my fiance has had four. If you think about quality, and how long these should last, that’s quite a bit of lifting belts. _x000d_ _x000d_ My first belt was a leather lifting belt, which occasionally I’ll still use.

My second, was a Iron Bull lifting belt I bought just a few months ago. It was supposed to be a lightweight, but heavy duty core support for women. _x000d_ _x000d_ Well, I thought it was going to do the job for me, I got the right size, and it fit well over my hips.

I get down to do my dead-lifts, and every single time I did the belt would just ride up my hips. If it didn’t ride up at the beginning, it would during my set, and that just put extra strain on my body when I was counting on that support from my belt, so I stopped using it.

If your one of those people who like their belt, that’s great, it just didn’t work for me, at all. _x000d_ _x000d_ Now for the Schiek one, that was what I was worried about. I thought to myself, “Oh man, what if this one does what that one did?” Guess what.

_x000d_ _x000d_ As I mentioned earlier this is my favorite product I’ve used from Schiek and honestly is the best belt I’ve ever used. This product deserves a 10/10 without a doubt that just because it’s great quality, durability and the price point is right as well for what your getting.

Training belt is great for when you need that extra support when doing back and leg exercises. I usually only use it when I’m doing squats but also to stabilize my lower back and makes me stand with better posture when walking around if needed like when I had SI issues.

Adjustable velcro straps for tightening but does loosen a bit over time and use. Overall still a great product.

Before purchasing this belt I tried some larger ones and some other nylon/velcro belts. While they all had their pros and cons, none were perfect. The leather belts were heavy, uncomfortable, and I couldn’t get a good fit while the nylon belts failed to offer much support and doing hold well under strain.

I finally caved and bought this belt five months ago and have used it almost daily since then. It is quite possibly the perfect belt. I have done heavy squats and dead lifts, cleans, I’ve even done double under with it on during a WOD and felt perfectly comfortable with it on.

I’m actually writing this review right before purchasing another. Why? Because I have gotten in the best shape of my adult life and actually now need one size down. I wish they took trade ins because this belt is so durable, 100 work outs later and it still may as well be brand new.

This belt performs very well and comes at a fantastic value. The belt is really easy to get in and out of during HIIT training. I would definitely purchase again.

I enjoyed wearing this new weightlifting belt around my waist to keep my back protected when, I workout at the gym. Also, it matches my latest fingerless gloves from harbinger as it comes blue and black materials.

Let me start by saying my wife thought the belt was beautiful! I also think it is a good quality leather weight belt. However, I gave it four stars because of the size variation. I had originally ordered the pink small for my wife but needed to return it because it was a little small (The last belt loop and tight fitting).

I then ordered the medium so that I could have it for her Christmas present. The medium was on the first belt loop. She is in a leaning phase so she needs a belt that will adjust as she decreases. The size variation was confusing.

There is a 11 inch difference of total length between the small and medium but just a 2 inch difference between the Medium and Large. However, my wife loved the belt so we have exchanged it for a small black because the inscription looked better on the black belt, and she will use it when she leans a little more.

I ordered the weightlifting belt for my boyfriend as a congratulatory gift as he was competing in his first NPC show that coming weekend. I paid for 3 day shipping to get it in time for the show but FedEx was unable to get it to me in time.

I contacted Shields of Strength via phone and explained my situation. They overnighted me another belt to the hotel I would be staying at! The man I spoke with was so kind and accommodating. & as for the product, it is amazing quality! My boyfriend absolutely loves it! Will be purchasing one for myself in the near further.

Purchased this as a gift for myself and I couldn’t be happier. It is perfect in every way. Quality leather, though not stiff like many weight lifting belts. It definitely supports my lower back during heavy lifts.

This belt is a good light lifting belt, and the tapered fit is great. It is super comfortable. The velcro inner/outer feature is cool, but it’s hard on the velcro – and maybe I’m not careful enough. After 8 months of using it 3 nights a week, the inner loop velcro was coming loose.

BUT – I sent Schiek customer service an email, and they said ship it up here and we’ll fix it. That’s exactly what happened – I sent it up there and they fixed it and sent it back in 3 days. Now it’s like new, and I’m going to be a little more careful with the velcro.

My next belt will be a Schiek.

Not the cheapest belt on the market. For sure the highest quality belt on the market.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it! Super comfortable and strong material. He’s wanted a deadlift belt forever and said that this was perfect for it. Usually he would be a large but I got him an XL to give him more wiggle room.

I would suggest actually measuring your waist rather than going with pants size.

Started working out again after hurting my back last year. Wanted to keep it safe this time and got myself a weightlifting belt. This one was in my price point, so I decided to purchase it and see how well it is.

On my first day with the belt, I could definitely tell that it helped stabilize my back. The product itself is very sturdy, yet comfortable to use for squats and deadlifts. It’s velcro, so make sure you know that before purchasing, but I like the velcro component.

Wearing it doesn’t really bother me. It doesn’t make my itchy and the sweat evaporates very quickly. It was definitely worth the cost, and I would recommend it to anyone else looking to purchase one!.

Well, I have brought both small and medium size but both of them are either too small or too large for my waist size(28”). I think I will return the item. However, The quality and material is quite great.

Also, it is comfortable.

The harbinger womens flex was puchased for my daughter she does alot of training different areas i thought this was a great idea to support her back when she does light weights. When i asked her how it was she said yeah great supports her back and is light weight has great support so yeah she’s happy with it.

Really happy with this belt. Comfortable to wear and easy to adjust with the velcro straps. Would recommend going down a size though as I ended up swapping for an XS.

This belt is super solid and provides very much support. I mainly use it for squatting, dead lifts, or shoulder press. The build is of great quality, I have had mine for over 7 years and it doesn’t look worn at all.

It is comfortable to wear, but if it is too tight I could see it causing some folks discomfort. I can’t however recommend it for oly lifting as it is to bulky in my opinion. I have no complaints other than that.

but that is why I have two belts.

Many heavy weight lifters say you only need this belt for dead weight lifts. I disagree. I use this in place of a stretchy wrap belt for work around the homestead. Supports my back for cutting/splitting wood, digging, wheelbarrow lifting, etc.

Good quality heavy belt should last a long time.

The belt is great! Gives you great support when you need it and definitely helps out when lifting heavy. i feel fully confident using it to save my back on leg day or back day, to be honest even on chest day! I am a competitive powerlifter and track & field (shot put), this belt keeps tight around my mid section, great compression when I need it. I also have two competition leather belt for powerlifting, but this 4 inch wide Valero works great for throwing weights, and for bench pressing.

I am a 305 pound strength athlete, and the XL belt fits great!.

Using now for back support. Help a lot. I wear it two to three hrs. A day while I’m cleaning very east to put on. Little uncomfortable but helps with pain. I like it I’ve tried other belts I like this one the most.

Can’t say enough good things about this belt. Having looked at many of the belts available in stores, I was always put off by the high price to pay for flimsy material, questionable stitching and overall durability of their belts.

When squatting especially, I want something that is going to maximize my efforts, not make me question whether or not the buckle is going to give way. The Schiek is very stiff, very well made and looks awesome – it could easily sell for as much, if not more than an Inzer (and with the wait time on that, forget it), but its affordable and accessible for all levels of training.

I like that the thickness is the same all the way around, that the buckle is true every time – especially when I’m thrusting my abdominal muscles against it on the way back up. Its allowed me to explode out of the squat and do so with high confidence, allowing me to focus solely on the lift.

HIGHLY recommend this product. Save your money, save the aggravation and get this belt!.

I gave this product at “10” because I could not think of any deficit. Solid, fits well, quality construction and materials, and ‘I love it’! I’ve used other quality and other leather belts at the gym where I workout, but none can touch the feel, fit and confidence that this belt gives me.

And when others have tried this belt at the gym, the smile it puts on their face is priceless. I will only use this belt, which is why it stays in my car at al times so I don’t forget to bring it to the gym.

Great belt. Really makes the mid section feel solid for those bigger lifts. A little uncomfortable due to the ridges in the sides but minor complaint all in all. Was worth the extra bucks imo. Tried some cheaper ones and this thing blows them outta the water for overall performance and just feels solid around the mid section.

I was very excited to receive my belt. I have used it quite regularly. I give it 3 stars because I can’t cinch it to a tightness I like. The only way to do this is to not utilize the quick release “brace”.

The quick release isn’t very fast/fluid. Also the Velcro stitching has pulled apart in many places. It’s a good belt overall. I really enjoy the fact it can be customized with patches. Huge plus!! I have seen similar ones at half the cost, but will stick with my 2POOD for now.

I researched this brand for about 3 weeks after it showed up on my social media feed, I do bit of it all. crossfit, Power Lifting and Oly lifting. I have used many types of belts but I need a go to that fits my compact life as an active duty sailor who needs to lift heavy and still move fast and concise.

1. Sizing: I’m 6’2 ,235 pounds and sit at 38 in waist wise. I gave 2 inches off as recommended so it fell at 36. 5 so I fell in the medium range. Once it shipped to me I tried it on right out of the package and it was perfect.

Performance: first workout going somewhat heavy since the quarantine/gym shutdown but took advantage of the equipment I could find for some squat complexes and tabata work. It was truly a great feeling from the ground up! Heavy weight before felt a bit easier.

The clamp kept the belt in place and I could loosen it even with one hand. Very light compared to my last go to belt by schiek. Overall: great belt! I got the patch belt to customize with all my military patches and I would highly recommend this to my friends and other lifters/crossfitters of any level.

They belt performs as advertised. The lock up on the buckle is amazing. The only issue I have is the sizing charts were too big. I sized my waste as instructed in the charts and came up needing a medium.

After cinching the belt down tight, the ends are touching. I think I could get it a little tighter if they weren’t touching. Probably should have gone with a small. Guess I just can’t lose any weight; otherwise, the belt will be too loose.

Other than that, it’s light weight, yet tough construction are super nice.

This is the best weightlifting belt I’ve ever used, and I’ve used a few in my time! The belt is easy to adjust to give an exact fit and does not move about once it’s in place. Gives great support to the lower back when I need it – I have had issues with my lower back in the past and I feel confident with this belt that it’s safe to use and won’t cause ore back issues in future.

I have been using a Harbinger weight belt for the past 29+ years due to necessity. I injured my back when I was 19 years old at work and have been wary of proper lifting and injuring myself all over again.

The Velcro on my older belt was getting loaded with sweatshirt material, so it was an excuse to get a new one, eventhough I could easily have just cleaned it. The way this one is designed gives far better support than any other that I have had before as well as keeping my back warm, which is an added bonus.

This will be my 30th year dealing with this injury come this May, and I am glad that I have purchased this particular belt. I might just get back into deep squats again. well maybe I’m getting to far ahead of myself, but I feel that confident with this belt.

Bought this for my husband who needs to help his disabled mom, lifting her and such. He couldn’t do without it. This was a replacement of the exact same one that had the velcro go out. He loves and needs this belt.

Its a simply perfect all round belt. something in between my old super thick power lifting belt & a traditional soft leather belt =super functional support with double prongs & is peronally number 1 favourite belt ever owned wouldnt trade it ever.

The outer suede feel texture quality feels pretty opulent & expensive looking for the gym but heck why not enjoy nice touch to detail with the white baseball stitch & embroidered “Gasp” logo pops with contrast.

Ordered a mens shirt with the belt. The belt was alright but the xl shirt fitted like a medium. Contacted bb, got told to return it. When I asked if I gotta pay the sending back noone responded anymore.

Bad service and shopping experience. wont order again. There are better bodybuilding brands than that.

I ordered my belt April 4th and three weeks later I still hadn’t received the belt even though I’d gotten a confirmation email stating it had been shipped. Customer service replied to my email and stated that my belt was actually never sent and that it was out of stock.

When I ordered the belt the website stated it was in stock. Overall disappointed, still waiting on a refund as well. Stop sending confirmation emails of items being shipped when you don’t even have those items to ship.
