I have a canoe with seat backs and wrap around PFD are really uncomfortable. This is a much better option since the only thing on your back is a web strap.

It seemed a little tight for the weights listed. My daughter is 40 pounds and it took 2 of us to squeeze it together just to zip it up. Otherwise it seems very well made and good quality.

It’s a nice jacket but I would not buy for a young child. My grandson is skinny and he couldn’t buckle the first latch. He said it was very uncomfortable.
The actual vest seemed to be made well but the sizing isn’t good. My son is 65lbs and athletic build. This was tight on him and wouldn’t fit him if he weighted anymore.

We boat on a lake. These vests are required on the boat and as our original vests were approaching 15 years old they were looking poor. The vests themselves are not as wide as the old ones so easier to store.
Comfort is ok and fine for an emergency but certainly not like a ski vest.

Bought two for my husband and myself. He’s 5’9, I’m 5’5. I am an adult. I wear standard women XS sized clothing, and my chest circumference is within the stated sizing range. This is not a “universal” size.
Was at least 3” too tall for my torso, as most of my height is in my legs, not my torso. I will have to spend literally twice as much to purchase a safely fitting pfd from LLBean to get “speciality” womens sizing.
This is ridiculous and the same as a pink tax. Do not call it Adults Universal LLBean. Because that is a lie. Also, chest circumference is clearly only one measurement of import in safely fitting a pfd.
You all should know that and list specs accordingly.
In the description of the product, it says “Allsport PFD covers all the bases from kayaking to canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding. ” It has large arm openings, so your arms don’t rub against the PFD when paddling which is really nice.
But if you are short or have a short torso, the body of the PFD is too long for kayaking comfortably. When a shorter person sits in a kayak, their legs tend to push the vest up to their chin and ears.
It would probably work well on a SUP, since you would be standing up. Otherwise it is a good looking, comfortable PFD for a relatively inexpensive price.
Fits Great. No arguments about wearing it. 9 year old practically lived in it at the lake. Wish there were more colors like pink or purple for the girls. Could add white to pink for more visibility. Our grandson will grow out of this before we would need to replace it.

In a boat it could be worn at all times without restriction, this pdf should be the choice of all boaties who value their safety.
The red colour is very visible in all situations. Inflation is very easy one pull and it is activated. Instruction are quite specific, minimal maintenance is required to keep the pdf in good working order.
The Watersnake PFD is really great. It was unbelievable how much movement you get compared to the old style PFD’s. It feels like you’re not even wearing a PFD and its so comfortable when you are fishing for extended periods as there is no rubbing or abrasive effect.
I highly recommend this product! You will not be disappointed. I will never go back to wearing the old style ones after experiencing the Watersnake.
This jacket is comfortable, not cumbersome like other life jackets. It still allows you the freedom to do your fishing without being a hindrance. It is nice and light, you hardly know you have it on and you still get a lot of air around the body so it won’t make you hot and sweaty.
There is also a good range of colours available. The only negative is that it doesn’t help you catch any fish.
