20 Best Lice Spray For Furniture (2023 Updated)

I love a multitasking conditioning spray. The fact that this is natural just makes it that much better. It does a really nice job detangling and I can see how it would be a preventative for lice. The smell is really strong like rosemary.

I will say if scents aren’t your or your kids thing this obviously wouldn’t be for you. I feel a little strange putting all of these ingredients on my child’s head and the smell is a bit strong for my taste so we will not be using this regularly.

It is a great option for anyone that is looking for a preventative.

I can’t comment on how this protects my son from lice bc as far as I know, we haven’t had a lice outbreak at school yet. But at least I know he has some protection if there happens to be one. But what I love about this is the smell.

You know how no matter how much you scrub a little boy’s head, he still will have some kind of boy smell (haha)? I spray this on my son’s scalp after his shower and comb and massage it in. His head smells wonderful and he’s protected from lice! I only use it because of the natural and safe ingredients.

Pricey, but a little goes a long way for a boy’s short hair.

This spray was and has been a LIFESAVER for myself and my children! It repels lice, among other disgusting insects and parasites, and also has an earthy/minty smell to it. It can be quite strong but since it smells more natural than fragrant, it doesn’t make us sick or give us headaches like heavily scented fragrances and products do.

This smell is also what’s used for the same brand’s shampoo (also red cap), and is most comparable to Paul Mitchell’s Tea Tree Oil line of shampoo, conditioner, styling products. Fairytales isn’t nearly as strong smelling as that line though, making it more sustainable for anyone with kids.

Tho I do love to feel that initial tingle on my scalp! So nourishing for your scalp and hair whether you’re fighting off head lice, paranoid and preventing, or none of the above!.

Having gone through lice outbreaks three times in four years in my daughter’s class, this line of products are heaven sent in my opinion! We use the conditioner, also, and then this spray for between washings.

Same ingredients that the professional lice-fighting shops use. We haven’t had anything come up since we started using these products. Unless you are okay with your kid being tortured by bugs on their head and then having to not only clean everything the kid has touched in your house but also quarantine their toys for three weeks each time they get lice, not to mention having to clean the rest of your house down to the cracks in the walls, where the eggs can hide, I’d say you need this and other products in the line! After doing the nitpicking every day for two weeks the first time my daughter got lice, I went to professionals the next time and spent over $100 for one treatment and had to take my daughter out of school and take time off work to have it done.

Trust me when I say you do not want that headache!.

I am in love with the whole Ladibugs Hair care line. The shampoo smells great and is great for the whole family, I use this on my younger 2 children that are in primary school every time I wash their hair.

We have been using it for over a year now and we haven’t had any problems with lice. When notice are sent home from school we always check heads and have yet to find any.

1st off you need to know that you should not get this product on your skin at all so I did get it on my hand in I did get a serious rash on my hand because of it it is a pesticide so be careful not to get in your eyes is well and also you should know The pesticides do not kill lice I had to find this out the hard way they guarantee that this product will kill the lies but it does not kill the lice so I don’t buy it its waste the money in its $9 for this tiny little spray bottle of Nix Pesticide and it does NOT work !! Waste of Money !!.

When I was first starting using NIXs, it was name recognition that drew me to the product. Make no mistake NIXs works and works well (follow the instructions) My only problem is that 5oz isn’t a lot and doesn’t go that far when dealing with a large bedding surface and multiply that by 3, and I think you can see what I’m getting to.

But as I stated you really can’t bet NIXs for guilty, it’s just a little short in the value department. THANK YOU NIXs.

I’m not sure how this works but i bought it because i feel shy that my roommate/ bedmate might get lice too. So far she hasnt complained of being infected. I bought it with 3 other things from pharmapacks and the 1 week i expected for its arrival became 3 days.

This is one of the easiest reviews I had the pleasure to submit: Before I made my first purchase of RID, I had to read the article several times just to make sure, that it wasn’t a misprint of some sort, Meaning “5 Oz for that price” well I’m thinking this has got to be some great stuff (or at least I was hoping so) Well as it turned out this product (RID) is well worth the price, it works great! Fast, easy, I never smelled any order of any type, and what pest I wanted to eliminate are now gone, with only one small application.

(Not that I had a major infestation of any type) bottom line this is well worth it, and 5 Oz of RID, goes a long way. Much to my surprise. Good job and a big THANK YOU to the people at RID.

This works well for spraying furniture and such that cannot be laundered. The only complaint I have is that it is such a small can. Wish they gave you the option of buying a bigger can .

Omg. Why can’t somebody come up with something to get rid of head-lice once and for all? I spray my truck with this after we treat our heads for lice. I also bag up stuffed toys and spray a shot into the bag before tying it up.

It’s a never ending battle since kids on the bus and in class have lice. I just stay stocked but it’s out of stock a lot so buy it when you see it.

I have curly hair which causes tangles and unruliness especially in hot humid climate but this right here has been the ultimate game changer for me as my hair goes from wild to tame with a mist of this and it also makes my hair not only easier to manage but smells great as well and my kids like it also.

I prefer this even to Fairy Tales detangler for curly hair. Makes my daughter’s hair have the most perfect little curls, so shiny, soft, bouncy, yet defined. This is my second time purchasing, along with the matching shampoo and conditioner we get amazing results.

The lavendar scent is also very calming and totally natural so you shouldn’t have any issues with a sensitive scalp.

I love this stuff! I have been looking for it everywhere. I first got it from the natural product expo and when I ran out I went on a search. Whole foods even target. The price never would lead me to guess it would be at Walmart but I’m telling you well worth the money! The most fresh natural smell that (are you ready).

Actually smells good! My son tends to itch his head w other stuff but never this. You can use it for child and adult, but I rarely do because lets face it its pricy. Glad I googled it, can’t wait to get it in the mail!.

I know lice-repelling spray is supposed to have a strong smell, but not like this. I bought this after we ran out of a similar spray made by a different company. My daughter immediately said this one smelled gross and didn’t want me to use it on her head.

She said it smelled like someone who was a long-time smoker & was trying to cover up the smell with perfume. And once she mentioned it, I had to agree with her. I’m not sure how effective it really is, because we will not be using it anymore.

I received it as a gift, complimentary from Fairy Tales Hair Care & TBH Kids. Great smell and works great! My son was lice-ridden for months so I bought everything off the fairytales products and it has worked wonders! I wish every parent washed their kid’s hair with this product.

Between this and the spray, there would never be another lice outbreak, it works so well. Not only am I convinced this stuff does an awesome job at repelling, but it also leaves my kids’ hair so soft! It smells great, never builds up, and their hair is super easy to comb through.

We wash at night, then I use the conditioning spray in the morning to style. I like this product. Important things are all Lice gone!!.

As school returns, you can never be too careful when it comes to your kids. We all know that the thought of lice sends chills down our spines, causing paranoia and itching. This quickly helps with my anxiety.

Furthermore, while it hasn’t smelled the best, it has worked so far! Her hair is soft also. We’ve used it for her first year in school, and she’ll be using it this year also. My review is on the Daily cleanse line but since I couldn’t find it, I’m placing my review on this one since they are fairly similar in my opinion. I love the Fairy Tales line of haircare in general.

In my household, at any one given time, I’ve got a handful of their products in rotation. This particular line doesn’t get as much hype as their others but should. The Daily cleanse shampoo is amazing.

It is gentle, yet effective even on the oilest heads. I have three children under the age of 10 that all have different hair types and use this shampoo. It keeps their hair clean, soft and healthy. Pay the extra few bucks compared to other kids shampoos, you won’t be disappointed.

Bought 3 bottles of these for the 2nd time because I made a huge mistake the 1st time. The age of my girls: 13 (short curly hair), 10 (short thick hair), and 8 (long thin hair). My 8year-old was the worst so I also bought her another lice treatment: Nix Ultra Lice Shampoo which was very powerful.

However, I FAILED horribly the 1st time because I used the lice brush on my girls during the application. LEARNED. DON’T USE THE LICE BRUSH UNTIL TREATMENT IS OVER!!! Follow the instructions! The 1st treatment was done on a Monday, and the 2nd attempt was on Friday.

During the 2nd attempt, I completely soaked their hair with this product and let it air dry naturally (yes, it takes long to dry). Showered them after. Applied conditioner and FINALLY used the lice brush, and YAY the problem was gone! If for some reason even if you can’t get rid of the lice and eggs completely the 1st time, go ahead and try the 2nd time.

It should work. It is also cheaper than the other products out there. It doesn’t smell bad or irritate the skin. The only annoyance is waiting for the hair to dry. So don’t cover it with any plastic caps because it needs TO DRY.

If you’re anything like me, an $8 price makes you hesitate a little when trying to find something that’s actually going to work. After weeks of everyone telling me it’s “dry scalp” causing me to itch, i found out i was infested, and for a clean freak like me that’s devastating and caused a lot of anxiety.

My doctor recommended nix, and upon using it and drying my hair i found a live lice on my towel and multiple live ones the following day when i took the lice comb to it, yuck. After reading all the good reviews i decided to try this, what could it hurt with an $8 price tag.

I have long thick hair and used the entire bottle, could’ve probably used another bottle just for peace of mind. After soaking my hair, i tied it up and left it in a shower cap all day and washed before bed.

And it worked! I’m brushing my hair with the comb daily and still have yet to find a live one, and all the eggs seem to be dead! Will probably redo the treatment in a week just in case, but i finally have peace of mind that my hair isn’t a home to tiny little bugs.

I followed the directions exactly and used this on my entire head of dry hair starting at the scalp. I let it completely air dry and then washed it out. The smell wasn’t bad-it kind of smelled like black licorice like others have said.

However, it was messy and it was hard to avoid dripping it in my eyes. A little got in my eyes and it hurt. Also, the comb it comes with breaks easily. My hair is not super long, just a little past my shoulders, but it is on the thick side and pieces of the comb kept breaking off in my hair when I attempted to comb knots out.

Not good for thick hair at all. I had high hopes because the lice all looked dead after washing, but there were still lots of lice and nits left.

Someone recently brought some Bed Bug friends with them. Thankfully I have not been bitten but I did notice them. bought this spray next day and went crazy. they were in the corner of my wall near my bed.

I took everything off my walls and sprayed. They died on contact I let the wall dry and vacuumed them out. Not sure how much I have left I plan on spraying every 48 hrs although they recommend every two weeks.

It smells so good! I use this on my own hair, it’s very curly and dry. Using this has helped my hair feel softer and less frizzy. I only use it once a week though because it can make hair get a bit oily with too much use.

I really liked how this product made my hair soft and how the smell was amazing. However, it takes a lot to coat my thick hair so I do not think I will be buying it again. I would suggest a serum to put in the hair via hands.

La diferencia con otros productos análogos con el mismo principio activo, la dimeticona, es que es al 5% de concentración, mientras que el resto es al 4%.

Resumiendo que después de utilizar el producto y pasar la lendrera, nunca te encuentras un piojo vivo ni medio vivo, están bien muertos. Yo lo prefiero. Naturalmente, no mata liendres, que se tienen que eliminar con paciencia y una buena lendrera.

Pero ningún producto lo hace. Y naturalmente hay que volver a repetir el proceso de nuevo al menos una vez, a la semana siguiente, para asegurarse de que se ha parado la infestación.

Después del enjabonado, el pelo esta suave y con buen olor. Lo único, es que una de mis hijas parece que le causa un poco de dermatitis porque tiende a tener irritado el cuero cabelludo después de su uso, a la otra le va fenomenal!.

En mifarma lo consigo hasta 5 euros más barato que en mi farmacia del barrio, un gran ahorro!.

TranslateShow in original languageEs el producto que siempre uso para acabar con los piojos de mis hijas (aunque siempre vuelven, pero esto ya no es cosa del producto). Es menos graso que el de pelo corto, pero también hay que lavar muchísimas veces el pelo después ya que sino el pelo queda fatal.

La lendrera que incluye no es buena, pero la de ningún producto lo es.

If you have a horse, flies – especially horse flies – are a huge problem in the summer. 2018 seems to have been the worst I can remember. There are so many products on the market, with varying degrees of efficacy, you have to put them on every day, and it works out expensive.

This is the first time I’ve tried Deosect and it actually seems to be working! It seems expensive, but it’s really not, as you dilute it and only use it once every 2-4 weeks. So much easier than all the daily faffing around.

I would recommend it.

My daughter’s horse is extremely sensitive and hates the heat. He scratches a lot in summer and over the last few summers we have spent a fortune on fly sprays, fly rugs , , supplements etc. We have never found a combination that works until recently.

We thought we’d try deocect as a last resort. We shampooed, rinsed and then soaked him in the diluted mixture. Then we put his fly rug on, then sprayed the rug with the mixture. That was a couple of weeks ago and his scratching is greatly reduced.

He still wears the flyrug but most of his raw patches have started to heal and he seems much happier. I also use it on my horse who is not so bothered or plagued with flies and you can actually see the flies hovering but not landing on him.

Bought as an insect repellent for midges to prevent sweet itch. Absolutely brilliant, work immediately and effectively, one application each fortnight. You might think nearly £30 is expensive, but this gets you about 50 treatments, ie, 2 years free of sweet itch.

Then when you think of all the stuff that you get from the local Farm and Pet at £15 per bottle which you have to apply twice a day and it doesnt work, getting Deosect which really does work is a no-brainer.

And the downside? Well, you cant slaughter your horse for human consumption, but most of us plan to ride our horses, not eat them.
