Best Level For Gold 1.18 (2024 Updated)

I’m ashamed that I was sent a useless torpedo level. I immediately checked the squareness which was fine but my main reason on purchasing it was the laser. I immediately noticed the dot of the laser not being square with the centerline of the laser off of a Bridgeport mill table!!! I’m thoroughly disappointed in ridgid.

I’m a third generation steamfitter and have ridgid tools passed down to me from my grandfather that are in great working condition because they were built to last but this level is GARBAGE!!!! WASTE OF $106.

I work in the pipe trades and am constantly working in poorly lit areas. I bought this level for its illumination capability. The level worked great. well lit, easy to read. My problem is when I accidentally dropped it from waist height, the plastic battery cover cracked.

causing the batteries not to stay in place. I rated this low because I’m disappointed in the cheap design from a very reputable tool manufacturer, especially at this price point for a torpedo level.

Very handy little level! Although it’s small in size, the features more than make up for it. Very heavy duty and durable, etched edges so that it won’t slip around when using it. Has grooves on the long edge to aid in leveling pipes as well.

It does have a light (batteries included!) but it isn’t very bright. It took shutting off all the lights in a room before we could even see the slight glow and that led me to wonder why a person would be leveling in the complete dark.

Other than that, it’s great!.

iF YOU ARE a commercial or industrial electrician and bend a lot of conduit you cannot go wrong with this level. It has a 30 degree vial which helps with the most common offsets as well as a 45 degree.

The magnets are dovetailed NOT glued in place like most torpedo levels and this feature alone makes it worth the cost. Bright color makes for good visibility. All around good quality tool.

Works amazingly. I went to beauty school and worked at a salon. First, you need to use a heat protectant if you want any integrity left in your hair follicles. Second, hair masks do wonders to keep your hair healthy after all that blow drying and styling.

Moreover, I see some people saying it doesn’t work. First of all, curls don’t hold in some peoples hair. Thats on you. Another reason why is that if your hair is so fried beyond belief and you need the hottest setting to curl it, then your hair is already very damaged.

Its best not to go above 200 degrees if you have thin hair, and you can get away with 200-300 for thick hair, but its still not ideal. If you regularly are unable to creat a curl and are using the highest setting on this, then yes your hair will be fried and curls with most irons won’t take to it because your hair follicle is literally dried, fried, shattered, and destroyed.

Now back to the iron, its amazing. It works perfectly every single time. Its wonderful for 60-90s hairstyles. When using a curling iron, let it preheat, and then when you’re going to curl a strand, choose a piece that isn’t too thick each time.

Skim over the strand once to preheat the strand, then go back in again and curl that same strand. It will stay longer that way and you won’t be frying your hair to a crisp. Beauty hurts but it doesn’t have to be burnt and crispy.

This curling iron is one or my favorites, and ive owned tons of different brands and styles etc. This one is nicely made, it makes my curls beautiful and it has a temperature setting so you can decide how hot you want to make the curling iron.

It is gold so that’s a nice touch and makes it different than alot of the other curling irons out there. The handle is nice and has an etched piece where your thumb or fingers go so it’s nicer to hold onto that other ones I’ve used.

This heats up extremely fast and so that’s a big plus, especially for someone like me who is often running late or in a hurry! Overall i would recommend this curling iron, and the hot tools brand, to beginners, and professionals alike! It is great! It can be a little spendy, depending on what you’re used to spending on hair tools, I would say it is worth spending the money on it.

You can tell a noticeable difference in this tool vs other tools that are of comparison.

I really wanted an upgrade from my conair curling wand. I purchased this so excited for thick bouncy curls. However, I do not know if my curling iron is defective or not but I feel as though it won’t heat to the max temperature.

I set it at 400 degrees and hold the curl for upwards of 30 seconds. The curl still comes out loose and will lose any shape after about 2 hours. I find myself reaching for my old iron more. However, I really do love the barrel size and with the curls loosening within an hour it creates an effortless wavy hair look.

So I use this iron more for a wavy hair look than for curled hair.

Perfect gift for father in law! I got him a 4ft Johnson with the case. Because no man should ever use another mans Johnson!

This cutie level was so awesome… can carry it everywhere you need for your job inside your toolbox…I highly recommend this level to everyone in a price of a penny….

I was very nervous about buying gold or silver online. We have all heard the horror stories. But, when I got a letter from my bank that stated their new customer agreement did not allow personal or class action lawsuit and that my safety deposit box could be accessed, well.

That made my decision to buy silver and gold. I kept some smaller pieces available to me. They are picture perfect. I received them in a timely manner. ​It’s a very smart choice for these unstable times! The bulk of my savings went into silver and gold they store at the depository.

I can relax now, knowing the Central Bank can confiscate what little I left them in my fiat currency account. I will laugh all the way to the vault.

I took the leap of faith for first time ordering gold online, but Money Metals is a professional company with reliable business practices. I have even subscribed to buy on a monthly basis automatically.

For a long time I thought that my 4′ level was basically all I needed, and that my line level was good for the rest. In bigger construction projects those did the trick, and in detailed carpentry projects I wasn’t really worried about level.

I got this last month and have been shocked at how often I use it. Hanging a floating shelf? Putting up a coat rack? Kind of annoyed that the oil in my frying pan wasn’t perfectly distributed? Setting up a new desk for my daughter since I realized she’s going to still be on zoom school for another semester? This little guy has been great for all of it.

I really got it just because it was 24″ and why not have magnetic (they’re recessed so they don’t get in the way) but the magnetic feature has been nice as well. Side of my refrigerator? Side of my oven? Turns out that it is much nicer when you don’t need to hold a level, now they just need to figure out a way to make one that sticks to wood.

Ha! Overall, I’ve also been super impressed with how burly this thing is. Too many people make due with those cheap plastic toy levels and it feels great to have something a bit more sturdy.

I bought a Stanley Fatmax 24 inch level about 15 years ago for a renovation I was doing then. Presently, I’m doing another renovation and am using that same one for a tile job I’m doing in another office.

The vial liquid is faded after all these years and being out in the sun but the level is still true and accurate. Due to how well this level still works after all these years I decided to purchase another one for framing.

The Stanley Fatmax line of Stanley levels is manufactured for use in trades and contractor work. With that being said I highly recommend this level for DIYers as well.

I am a Commercial millwork installer, I use lasers and levels daily. I used this level in place of my German made level over few days. The results were the same, accurate both plumb and level. Compared and tested as I installed.

Quality build, More end protection for those accidental falls or drops. Hand grip holes fit well, Vial view bright and recess to avoid scratches, medium weight, strong body type, added feature has magnets.

If you are installing metal cabinets or door frames. This would be a great additional to your tools.

I purchased this dishwasher looking for a midline quiet dishwasher. I’ve now has this for I believe 8 years and I would say it has met my expectations but not delighted. I see several reviewers complain about the cheap wheels on the bottom rack and couldn’t agree more but I took the plastic wheel retainers out and replaced with 1/4 inch stainless screws with lock nuts so I could tighten them without squeezing the wheels…problem solved but probably shouldn’t have had to do that.

Other then that my only other complaint is every once in a while water comes out from somewhere but I’ve never figured out where. It is infrequent enough that I haven’t caught it in the act and when I see the leak I’ve looked everywhere underneath and can’t see anything dripping.

My guess is they depending on how the bottom rack is loaded it could be that a plate or bowl may direct some spray towards the door edge and possibly leak there but I’ve never had a smoking gun on that.

Since this is an old model I wouldn’t recommend now but I think I have received my money’s worth. I’ve had other whirlpool products and have always considered them pretty good and a good value but not always top of the line.

I’ve also had Samsung (not a fan) LG (like them very much but good luck if you need repairs) and Bosch (good but maybe overrated). I do like whirlpool enough that I have recommended their products to others when they are trying to get a good value.

A few years after we moved into our house the dishwasher failed, so we bought a whirlpool gold series brand new. Disappointing decision. We used the heat dry for a year or two, but the steam coming out the front vent rusted out the front cover.

We had to pay to replace it (out of warranty by a few weeks) and it did the same thing within one year. (My sister used to have the same dishwasher, and hers did the same thing. ) The steam from the vent also warps the underside of the counter.

In addition, the dry cycle didn’t actually dry the dishes, so what was the point? We ended up running the dishwasher at night, not using dry cycle, and just opening the dishwasher in the morning to air dry.

However, in the last six months, we now have a growing mold problem in the dishwasher. We use the dishwasher daily, air dry it for several hours each day, clean the filter on a frequent basis, and have even tried a variety of detergents.

We have scrubbed the dishwasher, washed several empty cycles with vinegar and nothing seems to combat the mold. The clips for the upper tray dividers do not stay on (fall off regularly) and the silverware holder slots are not big enough to hold our model of silverware.

Stay far away from this dishwasher. We will go with Bosch next time.

I had this for over 10 years and it finally broke in half today when it fell to the ground. I was so upset because I’ve used it and it had its fair share of abuse. Practically a part of the family. After it broke, I kept using it to level other things around the house and hanging pictures.

For $20 over 10 years, that’s a great value and now I ended up with one approximately 36″ level and one approximately 12″ level. Can’t go wrong. Might buy another 48″ in the future.

It’s a level. Bubbles don’t fall out and move like they’re supposed to.

This is such an awesome level to have. Aside from the fact that is a pocket level, the ability to replicate angles is huge!! The markings are very easy to read and lock into place so there is no possibility of the vial from the angle you are working with.

The level itself is very well made of durable metal and has strong magnets on the bottom. I also own the 10” die cast level which also has the ability to do angles, both are a great tool to have in your box!!.

I like the availability and current product performance. But I believe the product is incomplete. It lacks features that would otherwise dominate any competition for the next 100 years. It needs at least another bottom magnet and a top view window.

Very handy, very portable. Great little level to have around. Only wish it had detent stops that you could engage for repeatability along with a micro adjust screw to calibrate it.

I bought this kit a few months ago. Unfortunately after one wear the chain on one of the Colette earrings broke. I emailed the company and asked if I could have it repaired. Instead the quickly sent me a replacement.

I have been wearing the Colette earrings frequently over the past few months and have had no issue with the replacement. I was also surprised with how friendly and accommodating the customer service is.

I have very sensitive ears, and haven’t been able to wear earrings in a few years. I haven’t had the slightest irritation or discomfort with these. I am happy that I found a company that has quality product, exceptional customer service, and as a bonus, is a small business.

I am OBSESSED with the nap studs!!! I have avoided wearing studs forever because they poke behind my ear and these little beauties are an absolute game changer for me!!!! My other favorites from the Essential Edit are the shooting star open hoop earrings.

Unfortunately all of the cuffs hurt my ears so I can’t wear them. Wish I could return those and get some other ones that I will love as much as the other pieces!.

These are cute, but I can’t leave these in like the threaded flat back earrings (which I love). My lobe piercings are fully healed and don’t get irritated easily, but I had these in for a couple weeks and they gunked up enough to make my lobes sore to the touch.

The channels on the inside of the hoops also make them incredibly difficult to clean, my set has turned greenish in there and I can’t wear them anymore because of the irritation.

The Gold Lift Bar is a wonderful way to massage the face while improving blood circulation. I also really enjoy the lymphatic drainage that I receive from using this bar. I have already noticed results and I am loving that my skin looks healthy and has a beautiful glow.

This happens to be a great little tool, I’ve been dealing with sinus headaches and pressure in my face – and have been using this little guy over my sinus points and I love the vibration. It definitely gives me some relief.

Too early to comment on the other benefits but this alone is worth it for me.

For the money I had nothing to lose and to my surprise, this light weight tool did an amazing job to firm my face and depuff my under eye area. Just a few minutes a day over a month you will see and feel a difference.

Love it! There are many paperclip bracelets out there but this is full 18K, not gold over sterling, etc. I can get it wet and not worry that it will chip or wear down. The best thing about this one is that the clasp is also rectangular, not circular (the video is the incorrect bracelet, the photo is correct).

Plus, the other side that the clasp hooks onto has the circular piece stuck to the rectangular piece so the rectangular piece serves as a handle and holds the circular piece still while you are putting it on.

My wrist is small at 5 3/4 and this size 7 bracelet fits perfectly but it might be too small for others. There is about half an inch leeway for it to dangle down my wrist.

This is the second Roberto Coin bracelet I have purchased from Bloomingdale’s website that was fulfilled by a store, and that was been wrapped badly from a store. It was squished around a watch core, then put in a box without padding on the bottom, where it accumulated tiny microscratches on the surface during transit.

This reflects badly on Bloomingdale’s, but also on its vendor, Roberto Coin. Roberto Coin provides packaging for its merchandise, and Bloomingdale’s insists on packaging it in their inferior packaging, using the wrong box for items.

The bracelet seems like a decent bracelet, but they can’t seem to follow-through on how to package fine jewelry like “professionals. “.

I bought this for my daughter as a bday present. She loved it and has not taken it off since she first put it on her wrist. It is lightweight and has a very sturdy clasp. I would not like it for myself – it is not substantial enought but for a 30 something it is perfect.

You can’t go wrong with David Yurman. These are a great classic piece to add to any jewelry collection. I bought them in the black orchid, hoping for the purple to show. But they look more black or navy or charcoal gray than purple.

I debated exchanging them, but decided I like the mystery color look of the black orchid. It’s more versatile than a straight purple.

I was so excited to give these earrings as a gift and even paid to have them arrive early from my online purchase. When they got to me, they were tarnished and discolored. I took them to the actual David Yurman store and they told me the earrings had been sitting and were old.

They told me the earrings could be cleaned and look better than how they arrived, but who buys something that has to be cleaned before giving it as a gift?!? I took them back to Nordstrom and then walked over to David Yurman and bought a new pair.

Lesson learned and I will not be buying jewelry online from Nordstrom again.

These are perfect, every day studs. I love that I can wear silver and good jewelry with them. I use a jewelry cloth on both parts to make them shiny as they do tarnish.
