There’s nothing terribly special about this – it’s a torpedo level with a magnet to hold it to metal surfaces easier. The magnet is good and strong, the bubble levels are clear and I assume they’re accurate, the finish is nice and smooth and feels good to work with.

I do like that it’s made of aluminum rather than plastic – it just feels better to work with, though in reality I doubt it really makes a lot of difference or will last longer because of it. All in all, I’m happy with my purchase of this item.

For years, I bought cheap knives from the supermarket. Usually a pack of assorted knives with one thing in common and that is that they didnt stay sharp very long A few years ago, I decided I really needed to spend serious money if I wanted a set of decent kitchen knives like the TV chefs use, so Ive gradually been building my collection.

However, I found that even my expensive chef knives have lost their sharpness after a while and Ive been tearing my hair out trying to find something that will sharpen them. Ive tried wet stones, oil stones, hones, steels, an electric can opener with an integral sharpening wheel and the sort where you draw the blade betreen two disks.

None of them would do the job. So eventually, after a bit of Googling, I came across this product. It seemed a bit expensive for the amount of times its likely to be used but on the other hand, the user reviews were mainly positive and if it can restore new life to my knives, I decided it would be worth it.

I ordered it on the standard free delivery terms on Wednesday and it arrived today Monday. Thats three working days. ExcellentSo I rummaged through my cutlery drawer, and pulled out 10 knives to experiment with.

I used one of the older cheaper quality ones first to try the sharpener out and it really is very easy to use. Within a few minutes, the knife had a really sharp blade, probably better than when it was new.

Prior to sharpening it was useless for cutting things that require sharp blade, such as sliced tomatoes. Happy with the result so far, I spent the next half hour or so sharpening the rest of the knives.

They are all fantastically sharp now. I had been a bit wary of using the machine with my best chefs knives as I had read some other reviewers mentioning scuff marks. I didnt get that on any of my knives until I reached the cheaper quality supermarket knives and then I did.

What they all have in common is they are made of much thinner metal than the quality knives. I guess, that being made of thinner metal, they go much deeper into the recess where the sharpening is done and that allows the scuffing to happen.

So, basically if your knife has a thick, rigid blade, you probably wont get any scuffing. If its a cheaper one where you can flex the blade in your fingers, you possibly will but it probably didnt cost a lot in the first place and at least it will actually work nowOverall, I definitely give this product full marks.

The first knife sharpener Ive owned which I can persuade to actually do what it says on the box, but still highly technique dependent. The instructions make much of lightly holding the knife and the speed with which to draw throughbut one of the slots tries to push the knife back out the other way for example so its not that simple.

After some trial and error however my knives are much sharper than theyve been for a long time. It seems to work best on serrated edges where you only use the last two processes. Recommended.

I bought two sets of really good quality knives way back when I was in catering college, but weve struggled to keep these sharp through the following 35 years of family cooking. My husband used a steel on them for years and, to my horror, they started to get misshapen.

We tried another supposedly miracle sharpener but sent that back where it came from. After much thought, we bought the Chefs Choice 110 and my husband stood carefully over it, following the instructions with me stood carefully watching over him.

It wasnt difficult, and all my knives even the most stubbornly blunt ones have come out supersharp. They have been given a new life. I recommend it very highly.

The subject Item, bought directly from Rockler, exhibits battery drain when the tool is OFF, to such a degree that the battery is fully drained between uses that may exceed a couple of weeks. Regardless of the Auto-Off feature, I am careful to turn the unit off after each use.

This battery drain is unacceptable, and makes use of the tool a nuisance. This problamatic condition was not described at the time I bought this otherwise helpful tool. I took the time to read the FAQs for the WR25.

There is an auto shut off feature incase you forget to turn it off. What type of batteries do these readouts use? The WR200 Digital Height Gauge uses a CR2032 watch battery. How does it read? All of our readouts use what’s called capacitive measuring technology.

This is the exact same system that is used in almost all digital calipers that have been on the market for at least 20 years. There is a circuit board on a rotating counterweight that has a repeating pattern etched on it.

There is a second fixed circuit board with a similar pattern and the rest of the electronics. As the 2 patterns pass over each other there is an electronic signal generated that is converted to rotation angle.

The only moving part is the circuit board with counterweight passing over the fixed circuit board. There is no electrical connection between the 2 circuits boards and they do not even touch each other.

There are no other mechanical moving parts. I deduce that the continuous-calibration attribute of the WR25 may contribute to the very short battery life, but the tool may simply have an internal wiring error that causes poor battery life.

Because the #CR2032 battery is relatively easily accessible, and now that I know that there is the described battery drain, but in my case, possibly the result of an internal wiring flaw on this unit, I can and MUST remove the battery when the tool is not in use to preserve the life of the battery.

this product is weak in the way of magnetic force. the legs of the tool are too close together and will not reach the table. If you make you own zero tolerance inserts (like most do) this tool will not work.

wast of money for me.

I initially bought this to set the cutter height on a shaper for doing tenons. I also realized that it can be used to do the same for a table saw blade. However, once it arrived, I realized that it is also the perfect guide for setting the height and distance from the fence for shaper cutters with complex profiles.

It was a little hard to open the battery compartment, but you just have to know where it is and pull. You can do most everything this tool does with other tools, but this is much quicker, and it is no doubt more accurate as well.

The deck leveling gauge works great. I can easily compare blade heights without lying on the shop floor. This gauge makes it easier and faster to get an accurate measurement. If I lost it I would immediately buy another.

Have not used the tool yet but looking forward to it it is very compact seems to be very simple to use I will have an opportunity to use it on my own lawn mower I have probably 10 and I also do work on other people’s lawn mowers it will be a useful tool to me thank you he’s here that’s cool.

This little gadget really saves time and money. It works so easy and you don’t have to stand on your head to try to read a tape measure. It showed me how off my blades really were. So now I have a even mowing mower again and it didn’t cost a lot of bucks to check it out.

I bought this level three months ago. For the record I love Dewalt, always have. However, lately I am starting to grow very concerned over the quality and durability. Three months ago I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new tool, a Dewalt 3 Beam Laser Level.

After Researching and budget considerations I spent a little more than I wanted to purchased a DEWALT DW089K Self Leveling 3 Beam Line Laser. I have attempted to use this item a few times with little to no success.

The first few times I tried using the laser, the lines were very faint, the laser barely noticeable both inside and outside. Each time the line became more and more difficult to see. I changed the batteries thinking they were the problem, nope same thing faint hard to see lines.

Now, the unit has stopped working completely! No lines, no signs of life. To top it off the metal has become corroded and pitted. See attached photo. The unit has been left in its case for protection yet it looks like it has been through war! I am going to attempt the contact the warranty department about this unit to see what they can suggest or do to remedy the situation.

Stay tuned as I will update how it goes. At this time I will not recommend this product, I feel for the amount spent it should run like a top. However if the support is solid I will change my review as I also feel tools can have faults.

Was happy with the laser when it was working. Unfortunately l can’t speak to the longevity of the unit. I used it 5 or 6 times over the past 2 years,. then the unit just stopped working. No drops, misuse etc.

Warranty is only good for 1 year. they say 3 years “limited warranty for manufacturing defects”, but supposedly when the unit just stops working after 5 or 6 uses, it isn’t a manufacturing defect?? Paid close to 400 dollars for this unit.

Really disappointed in dewalt’s quality over the past few years, l have purchased many of their products, but quality seems to be going downhill on some of their priducts.

I use this level mostly to grade PVC pipe. I like how the direction of the grade reads both ways for grading pipe at an 1/4 inch per foot. The markings on it, however, are wrong. Unfortunately the markings indicate 1/4in to 1/2in per foot.

learned this the hard way syncing it up with other levels. For almost a year i was grading my pipe at a 1/2in per foot thinking it was a 1/4in (plumbers never need to grade anything faster then 1/4in).

The application for this level should strictly be for grading pipe in the dirt. I know you guys can a will make a better one, or a new one. Remove the magnets and make it 10″ instead of 6″ for accuracy.

I like how it sits perfectly on the pipe with the slot on the side without the magnets. You are this close to making an unbeatable waste and vent level.

I bought one of these back in 2017 to take on the continent on a petrochemical job. When using it I straight away noticed that it was faulty and the horizontal level was way out. Upon returning to the UK i had no problem whatsoever in swapping it.

after using the new one for a while I then had exactly the same problem and it appeared to have lost all accuracy. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! CHEAP RUBBISH! Buy s cheaper better stabila level. utter cr#p! Plus couldn’t get a new one as by now out of warranty!.

one of my apprintices brought one of these levels to work and it is a complete failure for our trade. Milwaukee has made great electrical tools but needs to step up their game in the way of levels we need a torpedo level that has multiple vials with 10,15,22.

5,30,45 degree windows hell even a 15 and 30 and 90 would be fantastic for installing emt and rigid you should build a better level. we would love to buy them from you.

Excellent digital level, however do not purchase unless you have the patience to follow the recalibration procedures when needed. This is the one drawback of all digital levels

It’s an amazing high quality always working level. Worth it’s weight. I’m building my deck and setting the railing and stairs with it. Makes it easy to take measurements and makes it easier to futz around for more time trying to get to 0 degrees.

The lesson I’ve learned, you don’t notice much more than 0. 5 degrees with the eye. So don’t worry so much about the number and pay attention to the bubble.

Purchased this combo set and the jamber case for job. Great well built and great warranty. Don’t waste your time buying cheaper levels because you will spend more than this set when you have to replace the cheaper set.

Had the right tool and made the purchase very user friendly.

Upgraded from the 3 point to the 5 point. It worked great for the first couple uses and then just flashed the next time I went to use it. Knowing it was on a level surface I switched the batteries and that wasnt the case either.

Laser was never dropped or mistreated. Kind of an expensive tool to have issues with it on the 3rd use.

we used to run these lazers for wood frame construction and i personally own one for side jobs and they work great. The glass windows frequently crack and are not provided as a replaceable part. They want you to buy a new 200$ laser every time one breaks.

I recommend going with a different company’s laser as they will sell replacement windows.

I’m not saying this stuff is bad, but if your going to overclock, stick with at least the Noctua NH-1 or NH-2. I know it’s a few dollars more but it’s worth it. I just applied the IC Diamond 7 and ran Cinebench R20 and checked temps with GPU-Z and I’m running 5-10 degrees Celsius hotter compared to the Noctua NH-1.

Just to note I always double check to make sure the spread is even across the entire chip. But the stuff is still a good buy and temps are maxing at 78 Celsius with ambient temps at 20-23 Celsius.

Purchased the Diamond Thermal compound online since I was waiting for other components to arrive. This arrived pretty quickly in a matter of days. I live in San Diego so that was impressive. It came in a ready to use syringe style applicator and was easy to use.

The substance was controllable and wasn’t messy. And the thermal performance was better than expected.

I bought this when I was changing coolers on my i5-3570k. I did some testing before and after I changed the compound. I previously had some Arctic Silver 5 on the chip, and under prime95 I was around 55 degrees after running foe 30 minutes.

I went ahead and applied the IC diamond after thoroughly cleaning both contact points. The paste is quite thick, and is a little hard to get out, but no worries nothing is wrong with it. After getting everything setup, I was back into prime95 again.

My temps were a little lower with the IC diamond, coming around 52 degrees. Not a huge difference, but noticeable. However, the arctic silver 5 had been on the chip for over 2 years and it may have lost some of its heat transfer ability.

Eventually I’ll get around to getting some new AS5 to figure out if the age of the compound makes any difference, but right now I’m really liking the IC diamond. Great thermal paste for the price.

This ring is STUNNING! I found it Summer 2019 on the Brilliant Earth Instagram and immediately knew it was the one. I couldn’t be happier about wearing it for the rest of my life. My fiance got me a rose gold band with a round.

78 lab created diamond. I think it’s the perfect metal to diamond ratio. The pictures really don’t do it justice; they make it look more squat than it is in person. In reality, the leaves are much more dainty, making it look like a beautiful blooming flower (which is exactly what I wanted).

I could not recommend this ring enough. Well done Brilliant Earth!.

The gem was very beautiful with very nice colour and reflects light wonderfully, although there are several small but visible inclusions that were not visible in the online images online. The ring is exactly as described.

For the price, it is very impressive.

This tester is light weight, handy and works exactly as instructions say. It lets you know when you are touching metal by beeping quickly and if you have a diamond it beeps slowly as well as lights up.

If it’s not a diamond, no lights or beeps. The illuminated loupe is also handy. I’ve used it to identify fake pearls and real. I intend to use it more as time goes on to view inclusions in diamonds and other gems.

All in all, great set of tools.

I’ve been able to discern jewelry marks which were very light due to wear. i. e. 14k, 10k and 925 or nothing but scratches. I use the 60x loupe a good deal of the time. As far as the diamond tester, most of the stones I’ve tested have turned out to be CZ’s.

This is a very handy and easy to use tool. I had to practice a few times, but after that I found it easy to use. I have tested Rubies and Emeralds with it, not sure if it tested correctly, but what I found seems to be correct.

I would suggest that a person takes their jewelery to a jeweler and have them test it next to your test to be completely satisfied with test. For a beginner it is a great way to start learning.

Works well. Will use it to verify table saw angles. The only issue I see as it looks a little on the flimsy side. I am afraid of dropping it on the shop floor. I guess time will tell since I only used it on one project.

I do like the flip out display. I wish the LCD display was brighter and easier to see.

I got this at the end of Dec, 2021, so I have it for about 2 months. I have used this only 3-4 times and have been keeping it very well. But now the tester unit is faulty, I can’t test anything with it.

While I am testing a stone, the needle goes all the way to “diamond” & it stays there. When I turn off the machine, the needle goes back all the way to the left “glass”. But as soon as the red light stops blinking, the needle goes all the way back to the right “diamond” again.

It stays there & won’t move anywhere while the machine is on. I don’t think the problem is the probe because it’s the same even when the probe is disconnected.

Before this purchase: I watch many of the YouTube videos, I asked many questions, the answers convinced me of the product. After I received my New Presidium Gem Tester II, I was surprised with the RESULTS.

I have collected a GOOD portion of loose Gems trough out my life, I was surprised of the effectiveness of this Gem tester. Thank you.

This device is fantastic! I tested all my stones I already had and it tested correctly. Great device to use when ordering new stones to catch fakes being sent out as real stones. Very handy!!

I’ve owned nothing but Beautyrest mattresses for the past 20 years. I’ve owned several Blacks in plush, ultra plush, and medium and this is my second Harmony Lux Diamond Medium Pillowtop. Our other queen size Harmony Lux Diamond is medium firmness and it is SO comfortable.

It provides great support and we do not sink into it, which is why we ordered this one with medium firmenss as well in a king size. We received it one week ago and immediately noticed that this is by FAR the softest mattress we’ve slept on and it’s supposedly “medium” firmness, which is stated on the tag.

I feel like this is an ultra, ultra, ultra plush that was mistakenly tagged as medium. Even my Black ultra plush pillowtop is three times more firm than this mattress. We literally sink into the mattress – my wife and I have woken up with terrible back pain every day since we started sleeping on it 3 days ago.

I can’t even imagine how soft it will get once it’s fully broken in. I weigh 190 lbs and my wife is 130 lbs and we’re sinking deep into the mattress almost immediately. I can’t believe anyone would consider this to be “medium” firmness, it’s not even close.

I hope something can be done to get a more firm version of this mattress that is similar to our queen sized version that we’ve had for a year.

I have spent allot of money over the years at Ashley Furniture first time back in 2005 and had that furniture some still today, But September I had spent $4200 on mattress and motion base. Now after dealing with Mattress sinking and giving no support for lower back I put in for a warranty claim, 1st issue I have is can not even call the local store through the local number and for 4 days in a row I kept getting someone in Asia that barely speaks English and today I get someone on the phone in America and tells me that they need to send a technician out, but I have to send pictures first.

She also told me that the technician has to see that the mattress is depressed 1 1/2 inches well if I wait till then I wont be able to walk due to extreme back pain. I also called Beauty Rest and they wont do anything even though they admitted they have had issues with this mattress because it was bought through Ashley Furniture.

The Mattress is a Beauty Rest Harmony Lux Diamond and I paid $2499. 00 plus tax just for this Product. I’m now going to blast this review all over Social Media and multiple times on several of Ashley’s and Beauty Rests sites.

It seems today everybody worries about reviews so lets see how much response I get from either of them. I unlike most don’t finance furniture I pay for it so this is money that I expect back. Both these Companies are at fault.

My husband and I went to Macy’s to buy a new mattress in August 2022. We had a Hotel Collection Aireloom bed before that and it was wonderful. The reason we were trading it in, is because after 12 years, both of us were sleeping in impressions and it was uncomfortable.

We chose the Medium because it was comfortable in the showroom and felt like the Airloom mattress. We got it delivered on Aug 12th and within 3 weeks, the depressions from our sleeping was significantly deeper than anything we had on the Aireloom.

The first hour in the bed is OK, but after a full nights sleep, I have to ‘crawl out’ of my hole in the bed. Between my husband and I an large ‘hump’ has formed from top to bottom so that now I feel like I’m sleeping on an incline also.

But, worst of all, I woke up September 16th and could not even sit up in bed. The mid back pain was so horrible. (I take Pilates 3 – 4 times a week so I could usually pop out of bed). The Physiatrist said to STOP sleeping on the bed and they are running tests to see what has happened to my spine.

The description given by another reviewer seems to fit my situation in that there is so little support, side sleepers end up sleeping in a U shape, hurting the back. I’ve called warranty and the inspector is coming out on October 1, and Beautyrest needs to make this right.

Such a beautiful diamond and setting. I picked out this ring with my fiancé and was very excited about it but in person it exceeded my expectations. My fiancé was surprised by the size and extremely happy with it as well.

The setting is pretty yet simple as a tulip setting, I enjoyed it more than other tulip settings we looked at. We were able to afford a 1. 4 carat thanks to it being a lab diamond and the diamond is so gorgeous, I’ve gotten many compliments already! Making the purchase was very easy and we even got it a few days earlier.

We had no issues so no reason to communicate with customer service other than them confirming we could receive the ring a few days early which was helpful for delivery!.

band has a nice curve to the outside and the width stays true to the setting. One thing that the pictures do not show is how high the setting is. IMO, it’s a great height, not too high, but it’s high enough to really let the stone gather light, looks fantastic on a round cut and also would do very well with a princess cut.
