Introduction: As part of the ‘Super Car’ family, Lego sure gave the Chiron the VIP treatment; very big and very expensive. Building Process: Just like the real Chiron, this Technic set did a very good job recreating the building process, the ‘marriage’ process is especially well done, is a quite an accomplishment when the two halfs of the car comes together and all the axels and gears connects perfectly.

The builder will spend about 80% of their time building the internal structure of the car, and is a trully beautiful thing to watch the car taking shape piece by piece. The transmission is the most complex part of the vehicle, is no small feat for Lego to design such intricate structure within the space available, enjoy the interactions of the gears while you can, becasue once the body panels are on you will never see those gears again, and this is one of the down sides of the recent ‘ultra’ realstic Technic sets.

Features: Cars always have a special spot in Technic history, the Car Chassis, Test Car and the legendary 8880 Super car were all technological marvels at the time, each one packing more features than the last, however the reccent 1:8 IP/OEM car line seems to be going on a different direction than before when it comes features and functions.

For a flagship Technic set such as the Chiron,one would expect a lot of functionalities from all those (3600-1) bricks, but the result seems a bit lacking when you compare to super cars of the past. The car comes with 4WD, working steering, pedal shifters with 8 gears, and last but not least the adjustable rear spoiler.

Impressive as those features are, nothing is trully revolutionary, you would think for a super car such as Chiron there would be at least some kind of power function/lighting effects support, not only there is none it doesn’t even have a door latch, is a huge step backwards as set as old as the 8448 Super Street Sensation (1999) even had spring driven doors! Overall Impression: With everything been said, the Technic Chiron sure looks great upon completion, however aside from sitting on a shelf or inside a display case, its complex gear box and mechanisms won’t have much chance to demonstrate their interactions under ‘play’ condition, as most of the gears are covered under the intricate body panels, unless you are using a power function motor and the speed computer, you won’t be able to tell which gear you are in, and whether the car is in Drive or Reverse(it doesn’t even inlude sticker for the drive mode lever!).

When a Technic set lets you build a completely usless mini handbag with the OEM logo and a fake ‘Top speed key’ to open the rear spoilers, you know this is no play set, but rather an expensive ‘luxry’ decoration for your room.

The included Technic functionalities are more likely just used to justifiy the hefty price tag, rather than add play/education value, this set is way too big and heavy to be played, even if you do you will get no satisfaction by just rolling the wheels and see almost nothing moving inside.

I appraise the Chiron’s design and the efforts that the design team put in, however I do not like the direction Lego is taking with the flagship Technic Super Car series. Is becoming more like an IP/OEM showcase rather than technological testbed, looks are everything and functionalities comes second, you are paying more for the brand than actual play experience.

If you ever had the chance to build the classic Super Car sets like the 8865, 8880, or the 8448, you would understand where my frustration is coming from. I know Lego’s goal now is to make profit, but it shouldn’t make its flaghsip sets as luxry goods, is just a betrayal to the Lego name, you should be able to play well without a heavy cost.

Great set that is different from a lot of other sets available. If you’re into Avatar then this is a great set with some recognisable things from the film like the tree of souls and Toruk. It features 4 minifigures, 2 animal figures, a buildable Tree of Souls and 3 environment builds with glow-in-the-dark elements.

Looks impressive and has over 1000 pieces and it’s great how you can immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Pandora. It’s a lot of money when it’s full price but I like how it all works and looks and recreates a great scene from the film.

I would definitely recommend it.

My son was so ecstatic when he saw it, he was bouncing full of joy. The characters, attention to details are as perfectly crafted as always. The depiction of the Avatar surroundings are picturesque and fun.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The Lego Avatar set is recommended for ages 9 abd contains 887 pieces. It is definitely an intricate set that will take hours, if not days/weeks to fully assemble.

The set seems to be a must for an Avatar enthusiast. while I have located a blue house that is fully intact, it seems that each of the characters needs to be individually assembled. Completing the set will require a ton of focus, concentration, and internal drive/motivation to complete.

many of the parts are exceptionally small and I would not recommend giving the set to a child under the age of 9. building the set requires careful hand and eye coirdination. coordination. may be excellent for developing fine motor skills.

They both enjoyed this set immensely and my grandson was able to help assemble some of the pieces which was a big boost for his confidence. My son said it would be a bit complicated for a 9 year old who hasn’t built Lego sets before, but if they had prior Lego building experience it would be a fun challenge.

It’s also a fun project for an adult and child to do together as my boys did, a great bonding experience.

These things are called “Legos”. Made of small pieces of plastic in various shapes, sizes and configurations, these “building blocks” enable the user to assemble a previously designed and built model as indicated in a step-by-step instruction manual, or to go completely rogue and build monstrous designs of horrific scope and complexity that fall well outside the intent of the toys’ designers.

These individuals have been dubbed “Lego Maniacs” by the general public. You are advised to steer clear of these individuals; their manic behavior is easily transmittable. This particular set, while interesting, is actually a bit disappointing regarding its scale.

A proper space station would have been best represented in a model two to three times this size; on scale with the traditional mini-figures would have been wiser that the micro-figure scale seen in this set.

Still, it’s a good deal for a creator set, and it will satisfy anyone who enjoys a space theme.

Bought this for my 8yo son who owns probably a bit too much Lego already. No matter how many times we would drag the bike in a forward motion to “rev” it up, the resulting speed was fairly slow and there definitely weren’t any wheelies happening.

By day two, one of the pegs holding the front wheel had snapped. We were able to place the snapped peg *just so* to get it to hold the wheel in place. By the end of day two, the other side had snapped too.

My son is pretty average in how hard he is on things; he’s not particularly rough and tumble but he does play with them (not just display them). However, none of his other Lego bikes/vehicles have broken like this.

The set does not contain much parts but with the precision kinetic motor the little bike is action packed. Build a small janp or have it smash through Lego barriers!

Little boys love a motorcycle. This Lego bike has minimal individual pieces for easy assembly and it a versatile size for small hands once constructed

Perfect little surprise for being good or stocking stuffer. The usual quality and fun in this cute lego stunt cycle.

Props to LEGO for incorporating the Evija into their Speed Champions line! I love it and it looks amazing! They are also increasing the quality for each model every generation. Only issue is, of course, the use of stickers vs painted parts… would pay a little extra for 0 stickers.

That being said, I won’t knock off any stars, just needed at least one con.

I use these car builds as my stress reliever every so often. I enjoy putting these together, applying the stickers and seeing how they turn out. I may never own a full size one of these cars but I can display them for a little while until my son get’s older enough that I can pass them down to him.

Very nice set. Fit right into my collection with the rest of them. The assembly was pretty fun too. Very unique and nice looking car.

Great ship! Not only looks good but has some really good playability features. Very impressed with the accuracy both inside and outside. Cockpit is a little cramped but still fully functional for 2 mini figures and Baby Yoda in a lap or off to side.

Sleeping quarters is a nice touch. Whole thing opens up for full access, although can be a little tricky for minifig maneuvering at times. I removed the silly red missile pieces in the weapons bay and replaced with blasters and a dark saber to give it a mini armory feel.

Also the cockpit has two weapon storage clips that hold Mando’s rifle and a dark saber sized weapon as well. Figure selection is good. IG11 is made from the same super flimsy pieces the older battle droids were.

Not a huge deal but its hard to put inside the ship or pose in general as it collapses with the slightest touch. Glad its included though, as it was one of the absolute stars of the show! Baby Yoda is awesome and while Mando has his old armor, that’s fine as any fan would want that at some point anyway.

As of now the only way to get the new armor (with arm printing!!!!) is to buy “trouble on tat” set, however that one doesn’t come with his jetpack, so you’ll have to get a third set at some point I’m sure LOL! Hey who doesn’t have a ton of Lukes, Bens, R2’s, etc by now right? Greef Karga is a good compliment figure for either ally or adversary play (watch the show!) I would have strongly preferred something besides the Scout Trooper though.

There’s no speeder bike anyway, and the set would have more value and playability if instead they gave you Cara Dune or Kuill, the “Frog Lady” or even that blue Mythrol guy instead. Lego’s set philsophy of giving you one “opposite” character in most sets instead of another more relevant one is just silly.

But hey, a stackable trooper will come in handy eventually I guess. Lego are the masters of making you buy a whole nother set just for one figure you really want haha! Well played Lego marketing team! The Razor Crest itself is fairly well built, but not as “swooshable” as it could be.

While you can grab it by the very back of the tail and its strong enough to handle it, its actually pretty heavy so the only real way to really swoosh it is to grab by either the engines or underneath.

You still have to be somewhat careful or pieces will fall off (but are easily replaceable if they do). The landing gear is fixed so if you want to pose it in flight mode you’d have to pull them off. Not a huge deal but would have preferred retractable gear but that and a few other things that would make a great set a little better would have added to the price point.

It also comes with an integrated “escape pod” which (spoiler alert!!!) was never used in the show. That’s OK cause you don’t have to use it and it blends in seamlessly to the overall look. Its useful as a second bunk or figure storage though and is actually a nice escape pod.

Would have liked a couple of ladder pieces for cargo to cockpit access but that’s a small detail that most wouldn’t notice or value anyway. Over all this is a very good set. If you’re a Mandalorian fan its a must get for either play or display.

Okay, so starting off by being blunt- this is an absolute banger of a set. I have been waiting eagerly for this to drop ever since it was first announced/revealed back in February. There are so many pros with very little cons for it.

The building process was great with little repetition. The mini figures are great, though some minor complaints would be Mando not being in his Beskar armor, Greef Karga not having leg printing, and the print on the child being a bit small and odd looking, but those aside- the figures are still great nonetheless.

The scout trooper is handsome and does not use the angry stormtrooper face which is an absolute plus. The only gripe with that would probably be the fact that its just the scout trooper and nothing for him to do- maybe the addition of a second one or a speeder bike for him or IG-11 would have been a good addition- but hey that ain’t the main focus here and we all know that.

I re-watched the mandalorian within the last week to get hyped for season 2 as well as for the drop of this beauty and it did not disappoint. The thing is MASSIVE. Like, this thing could take a spill off a counter and probably take very little damage.

The detail and the minimal usage of stickers are wonderful, the added pieces of the sand colored bricks compliment the stickers quite well, the printed cockpit piece looks really good and I AM SO GLAD that it was not a sticker.

No flick fire missiles makes me a happy lad and how hidden the spring loaded shooters are was really well done. Okay, enough gushing on this set, the main con I have with it is the “lazy” route of using panels for the main shaping of the ship.

I would have much more have liked to have seen a brick built bay area instead of the big triangle pieces. The engines could have been a smidge bigger but given the pieces they are working with and already have; I understand why they chose the design they went with.

So, all in all, my final score for this set would be a 9. 8/10. Or in other words- Very good.

Firstly, I think that the build itself is very good. On the box art it looks smaller but once you open it up and finally start building you will realize it is bigger than it seems. I like the minifigure selection too.

Especially the inclusion of the IG droid. Furthermore, the actual build is very sturdy so when you go to pick it up it feels very nice and is very playable. I love the play features that are included in the set and the way that you shoot out the lasers from the wings is very neat.

The build did not get that repetitive until you built the engines. I think maybe the back of the engines look a bit bare, but that’s for you to decide. One more thing I would like to add is the price.

I don’t think the price is super high but I would have liked to see less stickers due to this being a 100+ dollar set. Lastly, this set works great with other sets. If you get the Mandalorian Battle Pack you can fit a trouble of the Mandos inside this ship as well as being able to fit the little speeder that comes with it.

I also was able to put the speeder bike from the Trouble on Tatooine set inside the main hull. Great build and I highly recommend to any lego fan looking for a fun and easy build!.

OK besides the fact that this is the set that brought me back into LEGO it also is an amazing set! It’s $20 and your getting 4 minifigures (I’m counting the dummy as one) that are all in some way exclusive plus 2 new molds for Patronus and a nice build! The three student minifigures although not new characters have wonderful new torsos specific to how the characters wear there cardigans and there accessories! (Harry having is unbuttoned cardigan, Hermionies being very neat and proper, and Luna having her necklace!) Plus you get an awesome death eater training dummy with exclusive prints that you can only get in the set! And for the Patronus they are 2 completely new molds for a hare and a otter and they are wonderful! I hope we see them normally colored in a city or something similar to that set! It also comes with a nice build imitating the entrance to the room of requirement! The build includes a very nice fire place, a sliding wall so you can make the room “magically appear”, and a unnecessary but welcome added play feature of unbridges rules that can fly off the wall! Plus a nice little side build of the mirror with pictures of lost ones! Overall this is a great set and the set that really inspired me to get back into LEGO!.

This is a really cool looking set, and the sliding door feature is pretty fun. I only have two complaints with this set: one is that it’s a bit overpriced, it’s $30 canadian, when it should be only $25 which is what originally turned me off this set, though I received it as a Christmas gift.

My other complaint with this set (and the whole Harry Potter line in general) is that it’s very hard to play with, particularly the figures. The reason behind this is that there is no way to emulate the spells other than the power blast pieces, which, though a good idea, still doesn’t work the greatest.

The LEGO item itself is great – my kids have fun with their creative versions of D. A. sessions. Fun to build and has some additional, unexpected features for a LEGO build. The shipping box and the product box were squished.

I would not have been able to give it as a gift because the exterior was so damaged.

This is a great Lego set. I had a lot of fun building it. I took my time and enjoyed it and thus it took me 14. 5 hours, again that was me taking my time to really enjoy it. Building techniques are good.

It is a solid build so no worry on it being flimsy. Has a nice stand with it too. One thing that is nice is it’s like it is two sets in one. The Hubble Telescope could have easily been it’s own set, due to this it feels like an added value to the whole experience.

My own complaint that is with most sets with a plague is that it is a sticker plague and not printed piece. Really think Lego should have these printed on all sets. No idea why the plague for a set that is $100.

00 is printed but for a $269. 99 set it is a sticker, this goes for the Star Wars UCS sets that are up to $949. 99, for some reason these are also stickers.

After watching a documentary on the latest Space Telescope my granddaughter was adamant she wanted to work in the field of space. I thought this model would be a great encouragement for her in her quest for further studies.

She loves it. Not rushing to build it, but taking care and her time to enjoy making it carefully. It is a solid build with some really interesting techniques being used in its internal construction. The telescope was made first and now she is working on the shuttle.

It looks fabulous on her book shelf along with other LEGO models.

Normally I don’t write reviews but for this set I need to make an exception. This set is really a very nicely created lego set. I was surprised by all the details on the set and references to the real shuttle.

The Hubbel telescope is a great addition that almost could have been a separate set. With the cargo hold open and the telescope on top of the shuttle makes a great display. The set comes with quite a few custom printed bricks.

But sadly still some stickers. This is for me the only minus point for this set. I would have preferred they would have avoided this al together. But this is for sure a set I would recommend! looking forward to more space themed sets!.

Of the four that have been released, i think this one is the best Quinjet available. Nicely modelled with various play features. Not too many stickers on this one which is a bonus, for me at least. Will probably be compared with the 2012 model for size.

Both are cool looking, simply prefer the extra features of the newer 2019 version for the shape and general design, like the fold out rear guns which tuck away neatly when not in use. You can’t go wrong with this version.

This Quinjet is by far the most action packed one Lego has made so far! The selection of Quantum Suit Heroes is diverse as it includes Hawkeye, Rocket Raccoon, Black Widow, and Thor. The set also comes with two Outriders for a small battle.

The motorbike included holds one figure, but is small for maximum fitting in the jet. Yes, the Quinjet can store the motorbike along with the minifigure as well! It may take some time to put together, but it will be worth it! It comes with many features and great figures.

Any Lego lover would enjoy this build!.

My son is absolutely in love with legos. Every Christmas, and birthday I can plan on him getting at least 5 or 6 new buildable sets. He got this one for Christmas and it took him 2 days to build. His favorite thing to do is make modifications and make things “cooler” but changing them up.

Lego really helps them imagine a better world.
