20 Best Leggings For Hot Yoga (2023 Updated)

I’ve been quite happy overall with these tights. Generally, yoga leggings lose some stretch over the second (or seldom third) day of use before washing. These have great elasticity and don’t balloon out over a few days, and are also *just* right on tightness and maintain the same spring on day one as day 2+.

I equate that to having the proper size so make sure to follow the size chart. They are lightweight and allow for easy movement without thinking about fussing with my clothes during workout. I was surprised at how warm these are but also breathe really well.

That has been the most difficult feature for me to find: breathability. I want lightweight, not super thick (even in winter), keeps me warm on colder days and allows cooling on warmer days without having to roll the pant legs up.

I like leggings for yoga and pilates, even in summer, and this fabric is awesome! Favorite feature? The seamless ankles! These are laser cut at the ankles so when you do poses in which your ankles rest on a knee or otherwise, it doesn’t become uncomfortable.

I’m also a big fan of the high waist, especially in warmer weather where I’m likely wearing only a sports bra on top for workouts. My only complaint is that the high waist doesn’t stay put as I expected.

I got the size small and for my height and weight, these are supposed to be the proper size for me, but the high waist kept rolling down during floor stretches. Everywhere else felt perfectly and according to the size chart.

Despite the high waist challenges, I very much enjoy these pants. They are my current go to for yoga and pilates, and are so comfortable that it’s difficult for me to not wear them as loungey house pants!.

I had been searching for thigh high leggings as I think they are so unique and stylish! When I read that these were soft as butter, I was intrigued. When I received them, they truly are! The fit is right on! Perfect length, fit in the waist (and I have a small waist), cover the belly button, stay in place, easy to move in.

I feel that this gives me a style of my own and sets me apart from others at the gym; in a good way! Will definitely be ordering more from this company!!.

I really, really wanted to love these leggings, but they’re truly on the thin side. I’m not sure what “thick” leggings other reviewers are referring to???? I have bought thicker leggings on Amazon. And I expect my Lululemons and Athleta to be thick.

Glyder charges a pretty penny so they should use that type of material too. No squatting or lunging in these! I love the look of them for sure! They do bunch a little bit around the tummy. But I need the size large for my hips and thighs so it could just be my curves.

A winner if you like a tight heavier feel to your leggings. I like the ease and comfort of a lighter feel (but still with control). I don’t want to be exhausted from putting on leggings when I’m in a rush to head out the door.

But never seen better quality and a fantastic look! If you like the tighter vs softer feel— you’ll love these! Enjoy!.

I really love the design of these pants! They look cute for working out and just as casual pants. I previously got in a powder blue pair of these pants in a size medium. They were a bit too large and so I ordered this pair of black in size small.

These are pretty snug!!! I guess I would go up a size if you’re in between but know the medium might be a little loose in some areas. Either way I like them a lot.

I purchased these cropped leggings because the designs were like nothing else I had seen and I liked what i read of the operations and ethics of the company. I ordered a large, and didn’t mind waiting about 3 weeks for them to be made.

The communication about the progress of my order was great. When they arrived I couldn’t believe how silky and sleek they felt! If you’re expecting compression from these you won’t have that, and note that the fabric is thinner than other manufacturers and very form-fitting, so much so that I didn’t like the way they sat on my lower belly/crotch area so even though I’m 140 lbs I exchanged my L for a XL.

They’re not quite as snug at the waist as I would like but otherwise the fit is better for me. The return process was the easiest I have ever encountered and the exchange arrived quickly. I’m happy to support such a great company! (And should YD tire of the politics regarding women’s rights in Arizona please consider moving just a wee bit east to New Mexico.

They handled great for my workout class. Complements on the fun pattern were immediate. I was really pleased that despite how light the fabric is that it was squat proof (and we do many, many squats).

No chafing was experienced. The waistband never slipped down. Class is outdoors and it was hot, but these were breathable. The only con was that occasionally the fabric on the legs flipped up about an inch showing the white color below.

Love these. The print is gorgeous. I love the feel of the fabric. It’s so lightweight and soft yet strong enough to give me the compression I want. The fabric pattern does not distort when stretched and gives me the opacity I want.

They are so comfortable I could live in these. I could sleep in them as well. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is like a few others have said the waistband doors took a bit during yoga.

0 & these are a little generous but still look great. While they are longer, I can ruche the bottom, yet I can roll them up to make a more casual ankle legging to wear w/ sneakers etc. I also love the wide waist band bc I can tuck in a dressy top, pop on a heel & wear for for an upscale occasion.

These are one of the nicest leggings I’ve ever owned. They are so soft and comfortable. They don’t cling tightly so if looking for something that will suck you in, these are not it. (Think like Spanx.

) Yet, they don’t show any lumps or bumps. You can totally wear these as everyday leggings outside of working out even though offered as athletic wear. They wash well, too. They run large so you may want to size down.

They also run long but I don’t mind the slight scrunching at my ankles. I wish Kim would get the black back in stock—as well as in other colors.

I ordered the the leopard print, which was so pretty, on air and in person. They were also made with a very soft material. These were all good things. However, I tried them on and they were a little loose, but not too bad.

I wore them to an exercise class, and forget it! They sagged and began to feel very baggy. They looked sloppy! I take a size small and these were way too baggy for me. Not at all what I expected or wanted in a pair of leggings.

I washed them, thinking they would “tighten-up” again and laid flat to dry too. This only made matters worse. They seemed to have grown even baggier with one washing! I have since returned them and am awaiting my refund.

THis is one of those pairs of pants I wish I had tried on first. I went by the sizong guide ( I usually wear 8-10) and these are just a little too snug They are doable, but on the small side. Because the material isn’t as soft and flexible as others, they are just not comfortable.

And they are most definitely high waisted. The most high waisted yoga pants I own. They will be my “last resort” pants. Nothing awful, just wish they were sized like other pairs I have. SIZE UP if you get these.

I only recommend if you get larger than you think you need. They are cute.

I purchased these leggings as a treat to myself. They were a great price and I was not disappointed with their performance. The color that arrived was a purple tie-dye and not the leggings shown in this photo.

I was slightly disappointed by this, but not so much so that they needed returning. I have worn these leggings to do both HIIT style workouts as well as Pilates and have found them to be very comfy and provide just the right amount of compression.

I recently bought these leggings and really really like them! They are very comfortable. I am tall and they come up to the right place on my waist while still being long to my ankles. I love the side pockets.

I wish I could accurately review this product but instead of receiving the 18” Capri I received the 16” which fell right below my kneecap of my short 5’2” body. It also was loose at the bottom edge rather than tight to my leg.

I’m confused as to if I’ll be receiving an exchange or a refund as the process left many unanswered questions and lack of clarification and guidance. Bummer. Have had better experiences buying directly from Amazon.

From waist ti crotch is too short. Wore once and probably never wear again. Just couldn’t keep them up.

I do heavy lifting and my trainings are filled with constant jumping and movement. These are squat proof and super light and comfy. I will say that they’re a bit loose by the crotch but everywhere else fits great! I especially wear these when I’m on my period because they’re not too tight around my waist but don’t go down.

These leggings are the first athletic wear I have purchased from CRZ Yoga. I am so pleased with the quality, fit and style. They are flattering and comparable to the two major athletic wear brands without the higher prices.

These leggings fit great, very soft. No compression but I knew that when purchasing, I wore them for strength training and stayed in place felt great on. I typically wear a small in leggings and that’s the size I purchased.

I would say true to size maybe a smidge big. Squat proof too!!.

I really love the brand. Ozzie Runs perfect size for petites And it isvery comfortable I will keep on shopping this brand in leggings at Neiman’s because is great quality. I just will love to see a bigger selection.

Fit well, true 7/8, but found the fabric a bit stiff. Better for wearing casually rather than working out.

Leggings felt great however did come up more on the big side. I’m a 10-12 and got the M/L but they were a big baggy on the knees so would next time order a size down

These are my new favorite leggings. I love how they fit, they’re stretchy but sturdy (as in no camel toe type situations). I wear them in or out but also great for working out in. I like the side pockets- fit my phone.

I listened to the reviews and sized up. I’m sure they run true to size and should have ordered my normal small. I think at that point I would have loved them. However they are good quality and cute

These aren’t as great as I was hoping for, sadly. I wish the fabric was a little softer and stretchier. The waistband is very strong and hits in a weird place for me…making these not very comfortable for yoga or any kind of working out really…I feel myself constantly trying to settle it into a more comfortable place.

Lastly, I would say that these run generally true to size, but if you have an hourglass shape you may want to try them on before buying, and possibly size up. They fit great for me everywhere except my bum…it feels almost as though there is too much fabric covering my torso and not quite enough around my lower hips/bum area.

Overall, not my favorite fit. Bummed, because I LOVE the ribbed fabric and all the gorgeous neutral colors 😢.

Honestly, I would never leave a bad review but this time I had to. I was so excited to try this brand as I’ve only stuck to one other. When I got them I ripped the tags off because I was so excited and I thought for sure there’s no way I wouldn’t love them.

The fit was OK, but the quality is very disappointing. I’ve worn these twice, washed once with proper care and there is already some pilling in the seams in the crotch where my legs don’t rub all that much.

I also went to go put them on today and my nail poked a hole trough the fabric! (I’ve got almond shaped nails that aren’t even sharp) and I’ve never ever had this issue before. For the price of these pants I feel ripped off and I truly wanted to love these.

Fits well and Looks Good. It maximizes my body type. The brand is unique and one of a Kind. Don’t bother buying cheaper brands which are made of cheaper material. The material will last long throughout many washes.

I adore this color and have been watching all major legging companies for this color to be released. So when I saw these I ordered immediately. I’ve never purchased Alo before but know they have a great reputation.

Perhaps it was this particular line that doesn’t suit my needs, but there was minimal compression & they were NOT squatproof. Sheer leggings is where I draw the line. I will tolerate low compression, not the perfect length, etc, but not see through.

I was super disappointed. I could’ve possibly sized down for more compression but then you’d see it all.

I am an Alo Yoga fanatic, and own 30 pairs of their leggings. However, these pairs were bought prior to November 2021. I noticed Alo Yoga has changed the fabric of their airlifts and airbrush. The airlifts match the issues I was having with the new fabrics; waist rolls down, and the fabric rolls up a bit below the butt cheek, and at the knees.

The fabric is no longer the softer and flattering look I have with my other leggings. Cherry Cola was the color purchased. This color came out 2 years ago, and I was hoping for the older fabric, but not the case.

I loved these leggings at first sight. The purple isn’t toooo purple. And they have side pockets, which is a must in the modern leggings world! I sweat profusely when I exercise (TMI), and the purple shows my sweat, but not a lot.

They wick pretty well. I normally only wear black workout pants because I sweat “down there” (TMI again, sorry!). But, I took a chance with these purple pants and I’m glad I did! Sizewise- I’m a larger medium, so sometimes I get a Large legging.

These actually fit perfectly and generously in the Medium.

I actually use these to workout in. They’re really comfortable and squat proof not to mention super flattering! I bought a second pair in the leopard print and I’ve gotten a lot of compliments. These leggings can definitely be dressed up but for now these are used for my workouts.

They don’t slide down my thighs and waist band stays in place. No piling to the inner thighs which I get from the majority of my Under Armour leggings.

I used to only wear leggings from Victoria’s Secret until they discontinued and changed them, until I found these! I got a pair on sale and instantly became obsessed. I have 4 pairs now and will never wear any other brand.

I found these small and uncomfortable. I’m normally a size 8-10 and I size up for leggings, but these were a 10 and I had to send them back, they were very tight and (probably because they were so tight) they weren’t particularly long either.

I may have put on some Lockdown/Christmas pounds but I still think they run small. I’ve ordered a 12.

Wanted non see through black high waisted leggings and that’s exactly what I got. I am around 5ft 10 and they are slightly long on me but that’s because I like my leggings a little shorter in the leg.

But other than that can’t fault them. Really comfy material.

The fabric is too stretchy, it doesn’t look like on the picture at all, and it feels cheap! I hated this set and wanted to return it, but was told it’s not refundable! This was not noted online when I was purchasing this.

I returned one one another item, and they discounted refund, which I anyway never received. They don’t respond to emails! Just a terrible company with terrible products! This was a total waste of the money.

These are wonderful – so comfortable on and very flattering. Love using them for yoga, walks or hanging around the house. Have also used them for hot yoga, but they do darken with sweat, so if that bothers you, just use them for low intensity workouts.

It doesn’t bother me and they dry fast, so I am super happy with with.

I love these leggings – I have been buying Onzie leggings for years and these are amazing, as always. The fabric is great because it doesn’t attract pet hair (a huge selling feature for me). Great fabric that keeps you cool.

I’m 5’2″ and the length is just right.

These are the best! My new favourite leggings, I wear them working from home > to the office > then to evening fitness classes e. g. yoga and barre. The material is so gorgeous and soft. The plum pink colour is honestly so pretty in real life! Always get complements on the look and feel of these and I feel they give me a confidence boost.

Had not heard of Sweaty Betty prior to this purchase. These leggings have exceed my expectations! The color is perfect, exactly as pictured. The fabric is so soft, feels like a second layer of skin! The design is innovative with non-obtrusive pocket, well designed.

The overall quality is great, they will not break down over time.

y’all, I was so nervous about these because they’re so much cheaper than leggings like Lulu Lemon or Arie or something but they’re actually amazing! they’re incredibly soft and buttery and really stretchy and smooth.

They fit up over my thighs super well and aren’t see through at all. The flare is really cute and the pockets are great! They can fit my iPhone 11. Today is my first time wearing them so I don’t know if the pockets will stretch overtime but hopefully they won’t.

The little cross v thing in the front is amazing! It holds in that fupa (fatty upper pubic area, for those who don’t know) super well. I always get self conscious about having a muffin top but just like the ads have said, you don’t get one with these leggings.

Love these YOGA pants! not sure why they’re still called leggings as they’re not. The pink is my favorite color as my favorite color is pink and I have a lot to wear with this color. They’re very flattering with the extra flare.

the material is soft but fitted just right on the tummy hips and butt which also makes them flattering on any body size and type. I gave them 4 stars because once again, I ordered XL-PETITE as I am 5’4 in height and they were once again a good 8 inches TOO LONG, thus having to be hemmed.

I didn’t want to choose any size to review as they’re not too small. too large, nor “true to size” due to the length being far too long even when choosing “petite”, but had to choose soemthing in order for this review to be posted.

PSA TO ALL WHO HAVE A LARGE BUTT / SMALL WAIST. Last order, I got a small and they are wayyy too tight to the point where marks are left on my body. So next order I obviously got a medium. And this is what they look like.

For the record let me state that I’m usually a size 8-10 in pants. The pictures don’t do it much justice. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and try them out. whenever I sit you could see my underwear 🙄….

besides rhat, they are better than lulu lemon in my opinion. The first pair I bought, I’ve washed over 20 times and they have not changed texture. Really great product, nice color, all around really great product.

These leggings fit true to size with a very high rise. They are full length (I am 5’10”). I really like the pocket placement. The tweed look fabric makes them less athletic looking and easier to ‘dress up’.

Ultimately I decided to return them because the I found the seam attaching the top band uncomfortable.

I wore these leggings at wound Ireland and they were so comfortable, and the pockets were so useful for stuffing my phone, tickets, maps, etc. The herringbone pattern is a nice change from boring black or grey.

I absolutely love these leggings and would 100% buy them again.

I’m buying a second pair. The material is soft and seems durable. I hike in tights and these are perfect for me with the 2 large leg pockets for my phone, house key, and credit cards.
