20 Best Leg Exercises To Get Rid Of Cellulite (2023 Updated)

I developed lymphedema from spending too much time sitting at the computer during the coronavirus pandemic that began in early 2020, which manifested as ugly swelling in my feet and ankles. Doctor prescribed lymphatic massage but Medicare won’t cover it; also, compression stockings (I got a pair of open-toe knee-high ones that work well for $25).

The LegXercise machine wasn’t much of a passive walking foot mover, but this model, the LegXercise PRO with slightly concave track for the foot platforms, was definitely a step in the right direction.

At least it moves your ankles ever so gently. I bought it for lack of what I really need. It does what it advertises, and it goes for 9,999 steps before shutting off. You have to turn it on again if you want it to continue moving your feet.

I even tried it on my bed as a side-to-side “chi” machine. Not perfect, but that’s a niche waiting to be filled: a LegXercise PRO “Plus” that has a saddle attachment to go over one of the foot platforms to convert it into a chi machine when desired.

I put two backless furry slippers together heel in heel to create a saddle for the two feet. This machine, the LegXercise PRO, is currently the best choice for passive leg movement. I’m happy for the time being, but will keep looking for the LegXercise people to produce the next obvious model: constant movement, more ankle motion, and a saddle for conversion to use as a “chi” machine.

It needs a motor with enough watts to handle all this.

The legexerciser is great for older people who don’t want to walk or can’t walk for whatever reason. It helps their circulation with little effort on their part. In just a short time I have seen an improvement in my husband’s legs an he has started walking more on his own.

I am sure for certain issues this would be terrific but for my husband it caused knee pain. In all probability it was not the units fault but an already present health issue. Well made, easy to use but for us it was not the right tool.

It is not a bad smell, but not a particularly good smell either. The tingly feeling feels amazing after a workout. I’d say if you are already pretty active and just worried about the look of a little bit of cellulite in certain areas, this will really work for you! Sorry but it won’t work as well if you’re just sitting on your butt all day hoping for a miracle!.

I have used these for years and this one is possibly the best one. Lightweight and easy to use but still gives that resistance element needed. Portable too.

Someone else reviewed this and said that it wasn’t great to have as a Power Lifter. Now, I’m a Power Lifter and have been for many years. The honest truth is that I find this machine a great piece of kit when I can’t get to the gym.

and you can really load it up as well. so long as you’ve got slim, heavy weights. because the bars on each side are only so big! I often slap 260Kg on there for a number of sets with reasonably high reps.

Whilst it wobbles a bit, so long as you have a stable technique, you’re fine. The kit is great, easy to use, easy to assmble and easy to maintain. As with any weight machines; you need to check and ensure that everything is tight each time you use it.

After all, you don’t want anything to drop off in mid-lift, especially at higher weights as that could be pretty dangerous. I’d definitely recommend this. Fits in the garage nice and easily.

So let’s cut to the chase. 1. Can you squat past parallel on this machine? With your feet flat on the floor,the answer is yes. The machine actually has two holes to choose from for the stop position in it that allows the bar to travel further if you want to deep squat.

I’m not really sure you can see that in the actual picture. You can also use that angle plate which I did but I actually prefer to stand flat-footed on the floor, it is just more comfortable for me. I am 6’1″by the way.

2. Does it totally feel the same as squatting freestyle? The answer is no. And this is my opinion. But nothing is going to be the same as a freestyle barbell squat because in the latter you have to control everything from start to finish.

That is not a dealbreaker for me because I have back issues and it’s just one less thing for me to have to worry about. 3. Does the rounded calf bar make a difference? The answer is not really, but that’s a matter of preference I have a standing calf machine that has a flat bar and to me I get a good work out either way.

It really is just a matter of preference, and your comfort level. Conclusion, Overall it’s a great machine, and it is very well made. It took me a couple workout sessions to really get the feel of it trying to squat flat-footed and also using the angled platform, After that I am pretty sure you will enjoy it.

I really like my new Body Solid Squat and Calf machine. Perfect addition to my home gym. Takes up minimal space for a leg machine. The round bar for the calf raises seems to target the entire calf muscle really well, and using the angle plate for squatting makes the quads scream.

You can also use the flat plate that rests on the floor, or like I did, I have a stepper that I can place over the flat plate on the floor that raises me up about another 6″ and allows for even deeper squats that way.

Is it as heavy as gym euipment? Well, I’ve worked out at dozens of gyms all over the country in the last 35+ years, and I can tell you that in my opinion it falls into the top 10% – 15% of what I have used in gyms.

While I don’t think it would be recommended to go crazy heavy on this machine, I would think it can handle 400 pounds easily, and probably 500 pounds safely. (I’m 53 now, so for me those super heavy days are over).

Aslo, it may be a little difficult for taller lifters. Using the machine once you’re in it wll be fine, but getting in and out of it if you’re much taller than 5′ 10″ – 6″ tall may be a tad difficult, unless you’re flexible.

I’m about 5′ 6″ tall, so no problem at all for me. All in all, it’s one heck of a nice machine for home use to get those calves and quads pumped up nicely!!.

I bought this product to get rid of cellulite. I did a lot of research prior and according to that, they say particular types of exercise work at getting rid of cellulite. I bought another DVD that explained this.

However, this DVD tends to do a great aerobic exercise but not that specific to cellulite.

I’m a longtime runner who has developed spine curvature than can’t be fixed, and which has destroyed my balance. Walking and a bit of running holding onto my husband’s hand for balance doesn’t give me enough cardiovascular exercise.

The Vive Under Desk peddle exerciser gets my heart pumping and will hopefully rebuild my leg muscles. It’s easy to use, and I can use it outside or in my home office. I’m really glad I bought it. P. S.

Took me about an hour to put together because the instructions are poorly written. Diagrams show every piece but it comes halfway assembled. Had to turn it on the side to tighten seat screws. And make sure you secure the front stabilizer bar with the bolt that is attached to the unit (not in the bag).

That was a little confusing and very dangerous if not done properly. It’s not perfect, compared to more expensive units that allow more adjustments. But for this price, it’s great. You can decide which muscles to work more.

You can push more with your legs or pull more with your arms. You control the tension and speed. The machine doesn’t work you, you work the machine! Build up muscles and cardio at the same time!.

This was my first product by this brand and I was pleasantly surprised! It has an amazing citrus based scent that for some reason keeps reminding me of lemon and lemongrass. It melts into your skin and reminds me of a texture of a gel! The effect on the legs is visible right away! I would definitely be open to trying more products by this brand!.

First off I love it. It makes my legs so soft and it does do a bit for the toning (more so than any other brand I’ve tried). Doesn’t really make my legs feel “light” or energized as described, maybe a slight cooling sensation – I wouldn’t buy as any kind of remedy.

The bottle is smaller than you might expect for the price, little does go a long way, but I’d still be much happier with a lower price tag. The softness I get is a rarity for me so I continue to purchase.

This is so easy to use! I have two problem areas–the back of each thigh. I exercise, but I can’t seem to get rid of the cellulite. Even my sister, who is in perfectly slim form has cellulite in the same area as me.

I’ve been using this on my legs and on my belly and the cream definitely has a tightening sensation. I think it will take a few months to really have a verdict, but I feel like the cream has an immediate effect/or sensation, so I like that.

These definitely are the hardest bands I’ve used, literally and figuratively. Once you get to the heavier weights 70+ the bands start to kinda pinch/dent the skin. It’s super uncomfortable for certain exercises like donkey kicks.

If you work out in sweats it seems to help a lot. I wish they had a wider band so it could protect your legs from the bands hitting them. Overall great purchase nothing out there has been comparable in resistance.

My name is Efrem Bunguric. I am an Australian Physiotherapy Association Titled Sports Physiotherapist in Sydney. I see a lot of lower limb injuries from a variety of sports. Injuries such as recurring ankle sprains, achilles tendinopathies, ACL injuries, femoro-acetabular impingement injuries, recurring hamstring and chronic adductor related groin injuries.

It’s a very good addition imo. I plan on him training with the bands at least once a week from now into October and evaluate from there. I expect them to be an important part of the overall regimen.

As far as I saw this cream works efficiently. I’d rather use it in some not very sensitive areas to begin with since the heating sensation is quite strong and one need to get used to this sensation. But beside of that, I feel my skin smoother and softer.

I got used to the hot sensation after a few times but it is definitely effective.

It was a pretty good product. The tube did not last long enough. A little on the expensive side for the amount given. Does give u burning tingling feeling wherever u put it. Wasn’t able to use it long enough to see results used for a little over a week and back of tube states to use 30-45 days but tube does not last that long.

I just got my body roller in and immediately used it. I got this because I was intrigued by the fascia blaster, but I did not want to pay the fascia blaster price. Since I don’t have a fascia blaster to compare it to i can’t say it’s better or not.

What I can say is this little instrument did some serious digging. I used it in my bathroom with a small space heater on and I used grape seed oil on my skin. I can already tell a difference in my arms.

It’s not a huge difference, but there was an instance difference and with time I think it will get the job done tightening my loose skin. I also used it on my abdomen and my legs. I have a lot of scar tissue due to emergency abdominal surgery and several surgeries from a fractured pelvis, femur and hip.

So I’m not using just for cosmetic reasons. With that being said I can tell a difference from a pinch test that the fascia is being broke down. There are some spots that I think I need a different tool to use to get down deeper to break up that fascia more.

All in all this is a fantastic tool and I would highly recommend it for anyone to try if they can’t afford the fascia blaster.

I am surprised how well this works! I am someone who regularly exercises and eats well, but still have some troublesome areas on my thighs and butt. Before writing this review, I used this cellulite body roller brush, after my shower, with some massage oil, on my thighs and butt every day for 3 weeks, and I really noticed a difference!!! Now, a month later, the bumpiness in my cellulite is quite a bit smoother! My expectations were not super high, but with the good reviews and the inexpensive price, and a trip that was coming up, I figured it was worth a try.

Be aware that if you apply the firm pressure you need to to get maximum results, you will have some mild bruising on your legs. The bruising goes away quickly, however; just make sure you give yourself a week to heal completely before you expect to put on your bathing suit and look your best.

I’ve been using this about a little over a week and I see a huge difference. It has an intense warming sensation so i relax with it and drink cold water. I use it on my thighs and butt and stomach. The cellulite in my thighs has reduced dramatically! It even worked on my double chin.

Very efficient and easy to use. May not remove cellulite altogether, but it firms your skin to the extent that you see some change in the upper layer of your skin – the “cellulite structure” is more smooth.

Have only used this once so far so can’t really give it a decent review yet but it now comes in a tube instead of a pot so I will no longer be able to get every last bit out if it! I also notice it is a slightly different colour, consistency and smell so even though it still has the same name as the previous ‘pot’ version it makes me wonder if the ingredients and therefore effect remain the same.
