16 Best Led Headlight For Motorcycle (2023 Updated)

The stock headlight is the only thing that I didn’t love about my Scout Bobber. The normal illumination was pretty weak, and switching to high beam gave slightly better downfield visibility at the cost of even more of the close-in illumination.

Based on reviews here, I picked this headlamp up at my local dealer’s. I installed it yesterday, and impatiently waited for the sun to go down. The normal setting is much wider and brighter than the stock, and as soon as I hit the high beam, I thought, “well, this test is over.

Wow!” The high beam turns on an additional set of bulbs so that you don’t lose the near-field illumination. As far as installation goes, it was pretty easy. Two tips: you will need a short barreled or right angle screwdriver to remove the two housing screws on either side (the turn signal housings get in the way otherwise), and the retaining clips will probably take a few minutes to get the hang of installing.

(For the clips that are near the housing screw holes, put that end of the clip in first – trust me on this). In summary, this is a no-brainer. Add the cost of this headlight (which apparently I’m not supposed to mention) to the price of the Scout or Scout Bobber you’re looking at.

You’ll be very glad you did.

I have a hard time seeing at night with regular headlights so, after looking around and reading reviews, I purchased this one. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The light is much brighter than the stock headlight.

The beam whiter and WIDER! It actually puts out a wide beam that lights the lanes to the side quite well so making lane changes or turns aren’t done with low light. The high beam lights up the road ahead quite nicely.

I can’t say precisely how much further it throws light because I adjusted my headlight aim after I installed it. But for me it’s about 3 times further (again, I re-aimed my light so results will vary.

) Installation was pretty easy. It was a little tricking getting the spring clips into position. The trick is to make sure your headlight is centered in your bezel! I had to install one clip, then push the light into center before installing the rest of the clips.

The looks of the LED Headlight bring as essence of technology to a vintage looking 2018 Indian Scout. The original headllight was ok, wanted better lighting at night. The LED headlight is brighter and the daytime LED seems better as well.

The installation was not as easy because of the design of the spring clips. Pay very close attention to the illustrations in the instructions, otherwise you could possibly put the headlight springs back in incorrectly.

Once you figure out how to put them in, it is easy. The design should be that the springs can only go in one way and it is easy to screw it up. The kit comes with extra springs and they may shoot out, and get lost.

I love the LED headlight, I do not like the cheesy spring clips. One other thing. The instructions need to include how to adjust the aim of the headlamp to a target to ensure it is at the correct angle.

Compared to the stock head light this lights up the whole road! I feel way more comfortable if I have to ride in the dark!!! Exactly what I wanted for my bike and fits perfectly!!

Light is much brighter than factory and great price. The wiring barely fit in stock housing.. a little trick getting it in but barely fit so I’m happy with it.

Item came 2 days before scheduled. Works great! And you can’t beat the price!!! I’ll come back and give it that fifth star if it works well at night.

Have used the light on road bike at night in UK in winter. The light has 7 settings and a separate race mode which reduces the setting to just 2. The brightest setting is great on dark unlit lanes with a shortish run time around 2 hours.

One brightness setting down is also adequate on unlit roads, below that and you have to watch your speed especially on descents. The race mode is useless! It switches between full brightness and a very dim setting which is way to dim for unlit roads.

Lezyne suggest its like dipping your car headlights. It isn’t! When you switch to dim, you can hardly see. It would be a good idea if you could choose the brightnesses it switches between, but you can’t.

The brightest beam is very bright and not really directional, so I suspect it blinds other road users which isn’t great for everyone’s safety. So, overall an good light but it has issues.

I ordered this light because I was looking for something with more than 1000 lumens AND at least a two hour run time on high that was not going to break the bank. Picked this up on sale and I do not regret it! This light is super bright and perfect for riding in the woods at night.

Its more of a floodlight (which I like), but throws enough light to be more than adequate. I use this with a 1000 lumen headlamp and have more than enough illumination for fast rides in the dark. The only downside is I think there are too many light settings on it, and sometimes find myself cycling through a few times before I get the right mode.

I’m keeping it on “race mode”, which only toggles between high or low, and avoids the in-between settings, including the pulse and strobe. Keep it on high when I’m moving, put it on low with one touch standing still or climbing.

Have been a fan of Lezyne for a while and this model does’nt disappoint. The main reason I bought this was because I had the infinite power pack so my battery life is doubled. I also like the fact that it supports the remote switch and has the smart connect functionality.

Decided to buy both the remote and corossponding back light. Very happy with the end result. The Lumens/run time on the different modes are excellent. Mainly do day time cycling so very happy with the day flash mode.

Can be a little tricky to mount on handlebar but that is not a criticism of the light.

I use this light in dark attics and basements. The low setting is perfect. My eyes don’t feel strained, and it’s not so bright that all the colors of what I’m wiring get washed out. It also feels super balanced.

I forget I’m wearing it most days.

Headtorch is great, nice and bright. Only issue is I had H7R. 2 and beam was adjustable when torch was on via wheel at back. This one doesn’t so have to constantly flick through settings which seems trivial but I work on the rail and when talking to ppl to be able to dim light in ppls eyes was easy.

Maybe should’ve done more research but apart from that im happy. Battery lasts forever on medium setting and charges quickly.

A quality head torch that is very bright with variable brightness settings and adjustable light spread. The rechargeable battery has a large capacity and a low battery warning alert which is useful. Charging from a standard USB socket.

It’s obviously not a light as the cheaper battery types, but this is not an issue really. Overall very good.

Right off the bat, Great packaging of the product! Install was easier than ever thanks to the clear labeling on the back side of each bulb for proper side placement. Plus IF you needed too, they have videos on-line.

Driving at night is an absolute pleasure now! Talk about lighting up the road compared to the stock halogen bulbs. Wow! Hands down, best bang for the buck! You’re not just getting bulbs you’re getting an entire kit with new dust covers that also incorporate cooling.

Not sure why Toyota used basic Halogen headlight bulbs, but upgrading with these LED replacements have made a huge visibility improvement! I have also replaced the High beam bulbs as well, and these are awesomely bright! Have to be careful not to blind oncoming drivers – they are that bright.

Interior lights got the same treatment – it’s like daylight when entering my vehicle. Love all of the products purchased – very pleased with the quality and results.

Love these lights! Extremely bright at night and when aimed correctly do not blind other drivers, but word of warning for other 3rd Gen Frontier owners, the fog light figment on the LSPlus bulbs is very tight and you will have to pull the fog light housing forward to get the bulb to seat without damaging the housing itself! Other than that amazing visibility with these lights and I regret not buying them sooner and for vehicles I’ve had in the past! (Plus you get cool stickers with all exterior lights).

These Fahren 9012 bulbs are bright with a light blue cast that shows far down the road. Don’t buy the cheaper brand led bulbs for they don’t compare to Fahren led bulbs. They will cast a long beam of light blue down the road in progressive lens headlights.

I installed these into my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT truck that has 40,000 miles on it. The headlight on my truck are clear like new condition. Turn the bulb to where the led sides are setting at 3 and 9 o’clock for best beam of light.

They have a 1 year warranty if bought new. One of the best upgrades at a cheap price. Plus there as bright as HID headlights in my opinion. Easy to install and the dust cap will still fit.

These LED lights were very easy and fast to put in. No messing around, just fit right into place. They are much brighter than my old LED headlights and have a very nice white color. The high and the low beams work/focus like they should (my other LEDs didn’t).

I am quite pleased with them.

I bought these to replace a competitive LED that failed (flicker) after a year. The first flickered in a couple of days and went completely dim in a week. I’ll put the second one in. They are bright enough, just don’t last any time at all.

I’m not much of a night time rider, but that may change. This light is pretty amazing. The low beams are better and brighter than the high beams on my stock halogen light. It’s also a wide beam with no dark spots.

The low beam consists of three vertical LEDs and one at the bottom. With the high beam, the lows stay on and the high adds two additional verticals and three circular mid beams. What’s great is that the nature of the beam doesn’t change much from low to high; you can just see farther down the road.

You can tell CD really put a lot of thought into the design. I didn’t realize how bad my light was until I made this change. I have a hard time believing there are better lights out there except for perhaps the JW Soeaker adaptives, but the Pro Beam has to be one of the best non-adaptive LEDs on the market.

My one extremely minor complaint is that from the front with the low beam on, the light is bright but narrow. Were it not for my running lights, you’d swear little more than a bicycle was headed your way.

But obviously it has to be this way because a full circular LED beam is too bright. In fact, with the brights on, from the front my bike looks like a freight train approaching. Anyway, I love the light and wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Install takes a good 5 minutes (plug and play).

We have both a 2019 GMC Sierra and a 2019 GMC Acadia, and the disparity in their headlights has always driven me a little crazy. The Sierra has full LED headlights and they’re awesome, while in comparison the Acadia had the dimmest factory-halogen lights I’ve ever seen.

Our prior 2014 Honda Odyssey with 4 year old halogen bulbs was brighter. I finally got tired of having to strain my eyes at night and decided to look at upgrading to LED. I went through several forums and saw these were recommended by multiple people.

For $50, I figured I’d give them a shot. Installation was easy, just twist off and remove the cover for the housing, remove the old bulb, go through a couple “insert and check alignment, adjust with allen wrench, repeat” sequences to get it lined up perfectly (the LEDs should point directly to the left and right), and then insert a final time and tuck the wires into the housing (everything fits fine).

After install I fired up the car and it definitely seemed brighter, but I knew the real test would be driving at night so I waited until about 10pm and drove out into the countryside near our neighborhood.

These headlights are fantastic. They’re super bright and provide a very wide beam of light that stretches all the way across the road, out into the medians at the side, and out in front for a significant distance.

I was able to spot multiple deer to the sides of the road that I don’t believe I would have seen with the factory bulbs. Couldn’t be happier with the width, distance, and brightness. Longevity is still TBD and I’ll update this review with how they hold up over the long term, but for now I’m extremely pleased and would recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade from factory halogen bulbs.

the light itself is amazing and highly recommended. its bright and good quality. mine is connected to my high beam circuit so low beam is off, high beam is on(high beam indicator lights when light is on) the mount plate for my particular headlight mask is a total joke though (08-13 ktm exc).

they want you to add these janky brackets that push the number plate way out front and you cant get enough downward tilt to the light without hitting the rectifier at full lock. I am in the process of engineering my own mounting setup.

epic fail for BD on the adapter kit. maybe look into the moto minded setup of you want a BD light on a KTM.

The light has 3 wires, POS, NEG, and low beam. The positive and negative plugged into the exsisting harness and the third wire came as a female bullet connector. Plugging the harness in, the high beam works great, but any configuration for the remaining wires doesn’t give low beam.

The directions explained what each wire on the light was for, and what was positive and negative on my harness, however didnt explain where to plug the remaining low beam wire which came as the female bullet connector.

The light itself is great and very bright but without low beam, road driving is dangerous. -m-2018 HUSQVARNA FE 450–.

Very good mid priced light set. Strap for the rear light is heavy rubber, and it should last a long time. I like that the light can be removed from the mount for charging. I have only used the front light once on a short ride.

It is very bright, however it lacks the ability to pivot the light side-to-side. So if you need to mount it off center, your light pattern will be off center. The effect is worse if your bars are angled back as you move from center.

Probably not a big deal for most users. Final thing. please please let’s stop manufacturing new things that use USB-B connectors. If it was USB-C, I would give it 5 stars.

Just like bikes have come a long way in the last 10 years, so too have the accessories. In 2010, a 650 lumen headlight would have been top of the line. Now, you can get one of these for a reasonable price.

This light has 3 light modes. I used the lower setting for getting my bike off the rack and ready for the ride. Also for during breaks when I don’t want to blind my fellow riders. The rest of the time, I have it on high for seeing the trail and it does a great job.

My night rides last less than 2 hours, generally so this 650 is up to the task. I have found it to be dependable as a helmet mounted light thus far. My lone criticism is that this light is just about as big and heavy as my 900 Lumina Micro so in hindsight, I’d have been just a well to buy two 900’s at a very small price difference.

My thinking was that this one would be lighter and thus, better on the helmet. Maybe it is slightly but the difference is negligible. For me to buy the 650 again, I’d have to find it at under at a clearance price.

Otherwise, I’d recommend the Lumina Micro 900 over it for the added brightness and battery life.

The best lights I ever had! Nice bright and cold white light without blue fading. The beam is concentrated little bit to the right side which means nobody gonna hate you for blinding them off. Installation is really just plug and play.

Can’t imagine driving again with old fashioned halogen lights. And the customer service is really incredible. I was asked even am I sure with the type of the bulb I choose before shipping! Unbelievable they even asked me after a while am I happy with their product and provide me with prepaid label in case I wanna return it.

So I’m 100% happy and can without any shame recommend Lasfit as a best all of your light needs provider! I also bought by them DRL lights and backup light bulbs and they are also pretty much awesome!.

I purchased Lasfit for my 2004 Tahoe replacing both high and low beams plus fog lights. I have been very pleased with my purchase. These led’s are so much brighter than my other bulbs. Customer service even contacted me to followup on my purchase and to let me know if I needed anything to feel free to contact them.

Bought these for my father’s 2003 Ford Ranger pickup since one of his fog light bulbs went out, and boy did it make a difference! They’re nice and bright and pure white. The lights spreads out wide, too.

Can’t complain about pricing either, compared to a single generic $20 bulb from AutoZone, I received a pair of brighter led bulbs at the same price. I would give it 5 stars, however, I’ve only had them for a very short time and don’t know what kind of life expectancy it has.

I changed my stock headlight out, for this headlight. Changing was easy. Shipping was fast, and the light fit my ’06 Sportster. Very bright light and the beam shines far down the road. I buy parts from Dennis Kirk, often.

Their prices and quality of parts, are great!.

For almost $200 I expected to be able to see at night. This was barely better than stock. Huge disappointment
