20 Best Led Fog Light Bar (2023 Updated)

I bought the ss3 pro amber light kit and i am very pleased with the improved visibility. I drive a lot at night and needed something better than the factory lighting. Been using them for a couple weeks now and havent had anyone flash their lights at me for blinding them.

I found it easy to install them from under the hood where as most videos ppl were installing them from underneath.

These lights are awesome! Install was easy, plug and play. They are way better than oem. This was a great upgrade.

There work perfectly as intended and make watching out for deer and rocks easy. The brackets that are recommended were not needed for me so it is unfortunate I lose 10$ on the return for something recommended and is not needed.

Easy to install if you are mechanically inclined. Pro: look great, heavy duty housingCons: 1. you have to solder 6 pairs of wires (+ and -) together to one as each light comes with its own wire harness.

2. After first rain 3 out of the 6 fogged up with condensation and no matter how much I park it in the sun will not clear. Summary – if you go for the cheaper than $700-$1000 option, go with much cheaper.

These are not worth $350+ from rough country and are similar quality to the $35 a pair ones.

Well, you know how it is, you usually get what you pay for. I did not expect the quality I received at this price point. I am very impressed. The lights are heavy and rugged. The brackets fit perfectly.

The install took longer than I wanted, but that’s my fault. Yes, I would buy it again!.

Excellent product way better than anticipated for the price. They were professionally installed on a 2019 Raptor by Automotive Techniques in Novi Michigan. The amber lights are perfect for the road but fog lights are very bright and would only use off road.

It was a very easy install, although I did have to fabricate the mounts, it was still an easy install. The lights are Great and the brightness is everything I was looking for and they look great on my truck.

For about 1/3 price of rigid midnight series, these lights are just as bright and really slick looking. They blend in well on my murdered out ram! Highly recommend!

Easy install 2 screws and 2 clips for the front grille, unplug fog lights and Phillips screw on each fog light unit. They look nice can’t wait to get some good use out of them.

Theses are without a doubt,the best and brightest yellow driving fog light. I am thinking of adding another pair on the pillars,also changing out my ditch lights for the white lights,they have been super hard to find,so if you can get them,,,don’t wait.

This bumper is coated very well making it scratch resistant and giving it a very professional look. However, if you are going to use your stock fog lights you will need to get a thread chaser to clean out the threads to mount the bracket.

The instructions were in color (huge plus) but the pics were small making the callouts very small. The mounting brackets are a pain, I mounted the bumper 3 times before I figured out that the stud goes on the top leaving the nut to hang free on the bottom (installation video is no help as they are using different hardware).

I had to run the bottom bolts with no washers first, then tighten the top nuts (first with just the flat washer to pull the bolt all the way through, then remove the nut and install the locking washer and retighten), remove the bottom bolts then I could only get the washer and locking washer on one of the four, the other three would not fit with both washers so I am only using the locking for now.

This kit comes with wiring adaptors for the fog lights but they will not work with my 2021 JL so I completely disassembled my stock bumper to reuse the stock wiring harness. I did this install alone in my garage with no lift and I love the final outcome, but if I had to do it all over again…I’ll pay someone to install it for me.

I wanted something beefy to accommodate an upcoming tire upgrade and this carrier is great. My install went very smoothly and only took an hour or two to get the factory bumper off, this one on and the carrier set up.

I stole an idea from another user’s review and cut/extended the third brake light wiring harness so that I could have full access to the carrier/tailgate without having to disconnect/reconnect anything.

The zerk fitting for greasing the carrier hinge did break almost immediately but an assorted metric zerk fitting pack from Autozone made fixing that a breeze. The hinge came with some grease on it but after applying some grease after install the carrier swings much more freely.

The bumper did arrive with some of the powder coating chipped off of corners from shipping and rust starting. I hit those areas with some bed liner/undercoat style spray to correct the look and I’ll have to see how it holds up.

All in all I love the look/use of this bumper/carrier combo and I couldn’t be happier with the new setup.

Some dill-hole struck the right-rear corner of my Jeep, causing a dent in the stock bumper. This happened in a parking garage and the above a$$ clown did not leave a note, nor stick around to explain themselves.

I had wanted to change the appearance of my Jeep and put parts on that would enhance it’s off road capabilities and increase overall protection. Now I had a reason. I looked at other bumpers on this site and settled on this one.

I liked the look of it, the quality and the reviews were positive. The price seemed reasonable as well. Once I received the bumper, I was not disappointed. The quality is excellent and it looks 100 times better than the stock bumper.

Putting it on took about an hour but that was only because I did it solo. The only bad thing about the bumper is once on, the rest of the Jeep did not look right. The front/stock bumper now needed to be replaced.

There wasn’t anything wrong with it but the quality and looks of the rear far exceeded the front. Thus the Barricade Trail Force HD front bumper was quickly purchased.

It took me several years to choose my front bumper. The 2017 silverado has nothing round, it’s all anglular and linear front end and body. None of the bumpers I found seemed to compliment those lines.

Then I came accross this Barricade bumper. It had everything I was looking for, winch capable, recovery points , grill guard and design asthetics to compliment the silverados. Install was easy, alot easier than I expected.

The LED lights that came with the bumpers, I initially was gonna pull them and put some nice lights in it, then deceided I have them lets try them and WOW was I impressed, so I’m keeping them in there.

They are great, fill the space between the bumper and the headlights, and actually above, they are a FOG light so they work great for normal usage. The bumper also has mounts under the grill guard to accept a light bar.

Overall, extremely happy with this bumper. very well made, fit perfectly, everything lined up, no mods at all required to get it to fit.

I got this product a few months ago and love it, however there a few things I need to address. When the bumper came, some of the mounting bolts didnt allign, upon further inspection tghey had been bent from the factory.

This ended up in me trying to first beat them strait with a mallet and then eventually slightly filing down the holes on my truck frame to get it to fit. Once it was up all was great. Secondly, this bumper chips VERY easily from rocks and other debris, ive had it 4ish months of primarily highway driving and have alot of chips and scrapes where I am going to have the bumper covered in Line-X.

Which brings up another issue i have and that the bumper is starting to rust in places it shouldn’t like along the weld lines and I live in TX so no its not due to salt. Overall I would give the bumper a 10/10 for appearance, 4/10 for quality of craftsmanship and a 7/10 for the ease of install.

For the price being under 1K its really not a bad choice. The LED fog lights are BRIGHT!!.

Awesome bumper, made with heavy duty materials and finished quite nicely. Looks great on the truck and COMPLETELY changes the truck appearance as a whole. Had two different people ask if I bought a new truck after installation.

One piece of advice is install the fog lights before you put the bumper on the truck, it is ALMOST impossible to get to the fog light bolts with the bumper on the truck, you can do it but it’s tough.

Overall would and have recommended this bumper to a friend. Thank you Barricade for making such a high quality product, and thank you American Trucks for carrying such a wide variety of great stuff. Did not take an afternoon to install, I would say it maybe took an hour and half or maybe two hours to install by myself in my driveway, with nothing but hand tools.

If you have air tools, and a helping hand, this bumper could EASILY be installed in less than an hour.

I purchased these items to use as back up lights on my truck. They both came with a mounting problem. All 4 holes that are on base for the adjustable mount are not threaded deep enough or the 10 mm bolts are too long.

4 additional nuts are supplied I assume are for spacers, but when they are used, the installation looks very shabby. I will need to get shorter bolts to make this look good. I don’t recommend buying this from Walmart as I have bought similar lights from other places and they have correct hardware.

The hex head bolt that comes with them is too short!! Your gonna need some longer bolts! I was ticked off I had to drive to auto zone to get some longer bolts and also it doesn’t come with INSTRUCTIONS! Had to YOUTUBE for installation.

Mounted on Pickup Truck for backup lights. Lights look good and are bright enough. I ordered a second set for my 16′ trailer to add backup lights. Great lights for a Great price. Would definitely buy again, and will for next project.

So go ahead and order them today before price goes up.

Purchased this while on back order. It shipped sooner then the original date i was given. Easy mounting process and wiring was simple as well. They also provide a switch. After taking my jeep out, we tried the light bar in the dark of mountains.

Wow! We could see everything. If there was any cattle on the road that night, the light bar would have saved us. Our regular lights don’t even compare to the distance of the light bar. This light bar is 100% quality and i will be purchasing more KC products.

Worth Every Penny and more! Ordered from Extreme and showed up in 5 days! Well packed and protected. Install was quick as I installed it by myself with placement of a few blankets to protect the hood.

Past reviews had concerns about the wire running down the A-pillar. I used Zip Ties and tucked the excess under the bracket. Tighten the bracket and that held the wire in place and hasn’t budged. The Lights are Freaking Bright!.

IšverstiShow in original languageHello everyone. I’ve been around off roading my entire life and also started doing it myself, in high school. I recently ordered and then bought an all brand new 2021 JL Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon.

The first things that I ordered for it was recovery gear and off road lights. Before purchasing the off road lights I did a lot of research as to what off road lights would be the best to use. After doing my research I narrowed everything down to 2 companies, with KC Hilites being 1 of them.

During this process I had a few questions. The other company wasn’t much help and acted like they didn’t need my business. KC Hilites on the other hand, was totally the opposite. They took the time to answer all of my questions.

They were all, extremely friendly and helpful and as a result of that, the decision to go with KC Hilites was made. I placed a pretty large order initially and still have more things to order in the very near future.

When I got the Gravity LED Pro 6 lights delivered to my house, I was very impressed with how everything came boxed up. The quality and craftsmanship also exceeded my expectations and the installation was very simple and easy to do as well.

After the lights were installed, let’s just say that there performance, output, reliability, durability, fitment and everything about them far exceeded my expectations. In all honesty, everything that I ordered from them did.

These wide beam lights are not quite as attractive as the nearly identical driving pattern lights because they have a scalloped pattern around the edge of the lenses, but you’d only notice if you were looking for it – from 15 feet away they look identical.

I also have a pair of the driving beam lights and I use them trained straight ahead so I can see way down the trail in front, and then I use each of these canted inward in a crossed beam pattern to illuminate a huge swath of the opposite side of the trail.

The result with the four lights is a huge, bright 180 degree pattern from one side of the Jeep all the way to the other with no hot spots or dark spots. Really excellent light output with a rugged, traditional round light look for those who are not fans of light bars.

They are not cheap, but they are really well-made; every thing that is not thick cast aluminum is stainless steel or glass. No plastic apparent anywhere on these lights. Built to last not just the life of your vehicle, but the next one too.

IšverstiShow in original languageKC has always been my go-to for offroad lighting because of their awesome old school history and unbeatable new school technology. With every swingin D rocking an LED light bar, it’s refreshing to see a bank of 6” Hilites on an old(er) Jeep like my ‘94.

Mine is an adventure rig meant for remote fly fishing and hunting. I chose a pair of Gravity Pro6 driving beam lights to give me illum width in addition to reach. These are supplemented with a pair of C3s up front and C2 floods at the rear.

All of these combine with JW Speaker headlights (because KC doesn’t make a 4”X6” square headlight for me ) to turn my rig into a scene out of Close Encounters. Also, great people and stellar CS; how does one ask for more.

I could use a couple more and those’ll come when they do but what I’ve got is solving 95% of my requirements.

Purchased a set for the rear bumper on my 2012 Powerwagon. I needed something to light the AZ desert up at night when out in the middle of nowhere. Great product, sturdy, very bright and easy to install.

Although I did not use the included wiring harness this time, these lights come with a quality easy to install wiring with relay and switch. If you are not into creating your own wiring harness it is a huge bonus to simply use their ready to plug in harness.

The flush fit looks great and saves me from replacing the bumper to accommodate extra lights or installing them somewhere they will get damaged when off road. This is the 3rd product I have ordered from Rough Country and they have yet to let me down.

Response after ordering was within minutes and delivery was within days.

I was skeptical about the quality given the price. But , let me tell you I was throughly impressed! The lights the harness. Plug and play. I made a template from the provided gasket to mark out a location with a sharpie.

Then , with a cutting bit on my dremel tool cut the opening. That was the toughest part. And that was easy. So go ahead buy them! You’ll be pleased too.

I used them to replace my stock fog lights on my 2001 jeep xj. Wiring harness is great quality, easy to install. I used my factory fog light switch instead of the switch provided, also a very simple transition.

The lights are very bright, as bright as my 4k lumen 6500k temp led headlights. 100% would recommend.

The bad things first so readers don’t miss the info. 1. The instructions are OK, but the pictures are so faded that they are unusable. CT needs to update these with sharp clear pictures. 2. Due to bad pictures in the instructions, I defaulted to the video from XT.

WRONG. The video is out dated and incorrect in a few places. It’s easy to figure out the differences, EXCEPT that it claims the tow hook s not comparable. WRONG. If you don’t install the two hook, there will be a tow hook sized gap between the bumper and the frame.

Install the tow hook. 3. The license plate bracket is an afterthought. It’s OK, but it hangs out the side of the Jeep. Also, install it before putting the bumper on the Jeep. Trust me, it’s much easier than fighting it afterward.

4. Finally, my Jeep is a stock 2020 2-door Sport with stock tires. The tire clears the cutout in the bumper by 1/4”. If you have larger than stock tires, you’ll need a mounting solution. The tire contacts the bumper when closing the gate.

You’ll need to add washers to the three studs to push the tire aft a little for proper clearance. The bumper is very well made and looks great. The fit was fine other than the tire thing. The bumper fits with the stock hitch receptacle.

Judgement? I’d but it again. Especially the discounted version with the red vents. If you don’t like the red, they are easily removable for paint or powder coat.

I wanted a one stop shop set-up for my light bar purchase. I certainly got it with this package. The wiring is weather proof and easy plug-and-play installation. Once I got my old bolts to loosen up and unscrew out of the top portion of my window hinge the mounting brackets were a breeze to put on.

Overall the installation was pretty easy, the hardest part was figuring out the cleanest route to run the wiring. The light bar itself is of high quality and gives my TJ a rugged look. Shipping was fast and the product was well packaged.

I would definitely recommend this LED light bar set-up to anybody. If your looking for a well built-high-quality light bar this is worth the extra money.

These lights were admittedly a bit pricey, but after I installed them and took a step back to have a look, the money seemed worth it. They look great and shine very brightly. The only drawback was that the installation instructions are beyond poor.

It almost seems as if they either expect that you already know how to do it (and thus don’t need detailed instructions) or that you will be paying a dealer to do it. Fortunately I have some mechanical savvy, so I was able to figure it out.

A detailed video would be a suggestion.

Great light, really easy to install. There’s only one minor issue with the mounting on my ‘13 Wrangler – the mount should be a little taller and jut forward a little more to allow the washer sprayers to still hit the windshield.

I chose this light bar for 2 main reasons: 1) it’s a different look than the straight 40 or 50in bars 2) I was hoping the built in wind hammer would reduce the noise. I think it works on both of those accounts.

No noise under 60mph at all and minimal noise under 75 (75 mph gets loud, but it’s a Jeep. ). The bars give off a ton of light. I have them on two different switches, center only and outside only. The single center bar is enough light for almost all needs, the two outsides do a good job of lighting the surrounding area, and all 3 are pretty crazy.

I am very happy with this purchase.

After several weeks of research and review of various light bars, I decided on the Rugged Ridge Mounted Light Bar. It’s the perfect look I was trying to achieve – matching other “pipe” type bars on my Jeepster.

The lights are powerful and match other LEDs built into bumper. Extremely satisfied with outcome.

These lights are very easy to install, about 2 hours to have them mounted and wired. They give you the rugged, not fancy look that I wanted to maintain. The only suggestion I’d make is to note that the bar comes with a slight dip/curve and the lights do not sit on a flat level.

These things are much brighter than the stock fog lights. Plus they look much better. Not a bad install but a few places the instructions could be a worded a bit more clearly. If you buy read them and look at the pictures carefully.

These fog lights work well and are a close match to the factory LED headlights. They are much brighter than the dull factory fog lights. Install was easy, but get yourself a flat trim tool and pry the original factory fog light housing out from the front side of the truck.

Use the trim tool on both sides of the fog light housing and work to disengage the housing from the tabs out from the front side. It will save you a lot of headache vs trying to pry them out from the backside.

Nice upgrade.

Delivery was quick, I think 2 to 3 days they arrived. Hardest part of the install was prying the old fog lights out. Went to Autozone and bought a plastic pry tool kit which then made the job easier.

The lights look awesome, give the front end a more aggressive look, although I will say these are super bright.

Bought these to match the Oracle halo headlights I had installed a few months earlier. Since these were going into a Sport Altitude, the hardware layout and fit is different than many other Wranglers.

I learned that the hard way, and had to return an earlier purchase. Installation took about an hour, and the hardest part was splicing the halos themselves into my existing headlights. I had to remove trim, the grill, headlights and the back of my bumper — and that was painful — but the work itself was pretty easy.

Importantly, they look amazing! And the Oracle halo fog lights next to the Oracle halo headlights looks terrific.

The lights fit perfect and pretty easy to install. The halo connectors that they use could be better but it worked. It took me about 4 hours to install these but that is only because I also installed side markers at the same time.

If you are going to connect the halos and you already have DTRL run the wire there to save the time of trying to get to the side marker lights.

Super bright, easy to install! Hardest part was just getting the splash guards off, but you can install these in the driveway or garage without a lift. I have not connected the halos, you get a bare black and red wire on each light and some splices.

For my JL (no DRLs), I think I’m going to run the halos to a fuse tap into the PDC.

Big and bright! Need to see where you are? This is a great option. Comes with multiple mounting points and hardware options. Easy to wire and install. Great value. Slim is for the birds! I want everyone to see me!.

Looks great on the Jeep and seems super bright. Read a few reviews about water getting in, but we drove from Colorado to Indiana after mounting it, and it rained almost the whole way. We had zero water issues.

Doesn’t come with any instructions, and no wiring to hook it up (other than the wires coming out of the bar itself). So, that was a little hard for me to figure out. other than that technical stuff, the light is worth the cost.

Was worried at first about quality (you get what you pay for) but I was pleasantly surprised. Quality looks great. Other then the chromed finish inside the bar, the bar is entirely black. Its also extremely bright.

You will not be able to stare at it once its on. I recommend installing it with 2 people so you don’t risk damaging the windshield during install as it has some weight to it.
