20 Best Led Bulb For Car (2023 Updated)

Good lights for the price. The beam pattern is nice and even. The quality of the usable light isn’t the best. Seems they put out more light that oem halogens but visibility of the road isn’t much better, could possibly be do to the slightly blue tint of the light color.

They do light the sides of the road much better. With that being said, I am using these in oem projector housings and that could affect light quality or color. I had a 35w set of 5k H. I. Ds on another vehicle and much preferred the quality of the light from the hid.

Ordered set of three for my Tacoma 2017. All three: hi beam, low beam and fog lights fit perfectly. Less than 30 minute install. Had to unplug and re-plug a few times to reverse polarity. I would recommend testing lights before inserting in housing just like the instructions recommend.

Lights look sturdy, quality built. Nothing flimsy. The light itself had good professional finish. Now we wait for durability. Only time will tell. But I have a good feeling for these.

Good product so far. The only reason Im not giving 5 star is because the light temperature 6,500k is too high and defeats a little the purpose of the high lummen output. So you get a powerful light but the color doesnt help.

Everything else is good and being fanless is a mayor benefit. The price is good for $50 on a bulb set that has low and hi beam (H4). Nice upgrade over stock halogens. Be ready to trim the dust cover behind the bulb.

This bulb was defective. It produced a very dim light which blinked continuously about twice per second. Reversing the bulb produced no light. O’Reilly gladly refunded my purchase. The more expensive Sylvania “ZEVO” LED bulb worked fine.

I’m very very impressed with the illumination of these LED bulbs. These bulbs however seem to be one directional and don’t produce light out the sides but the reflection material in the housing makes up for the LED light by reflecting the light downward.

American muscle recently did a video on changing out the light bulbs in a YouTube video, they expressed that the bulbs that they were using may not fit through the opening however these bulbs are small enough that you can install them the easier way of pulling down the whole entire housing instead of just popping out the lens.

That being said these LED light bulbs do not seem to be one directional when it comes to the polarity. I could be wrong but if you plug it in One direction the LED is much brighter than the other direction but they do work but it might have been just an optical illusion as when I installed them it was a bright sunny day.

I highly recommend these. It took all of about 2 minutes to change the light bulbs.

Great product, super easy install less than 3 minutes. No led conversion kit required. Plug and play just like it says. Shipping was early and the price affordable. The LEDs are of some of the highest quality I’ve been able to work with they are really really REALLY neat in person.

Pictures may give an idea but I give my word if your thinking about upgrading from incandescent to led go go go it’s the brightest best thing yet and these are top notch by far the best.

Installed these in the overhead map light console. Do yourself a favor & pop the entire console out & replace the bulbs that way. Initially I tried to put them in merely by removing the lens & the OEM bulb, but pushing the LED bulb into the plug caused the socket to pop out of the housing.

After dropping the entire cover things went much smoother. Overall it wasn’t too difficult & I got the results I was looking for with minimal cost.

great upgrade but failed the Virginia State inspection!!! they told me it wasn’t in the specs / requirements and they made me get the old school dimmer yellow bulbs!!! nuts huh? These bulbs are a huge upgrade but according to the tire and auto place in Virginia, they said it failed.

unless they were just picking on me. I had to return them if I wanted my inspection sticker. that kind of logic is what keeps life from improving and moving forward.

I drive an ‘89 Dodge Caravan SE and have been progressively replacing all the bulbs with LED ones. These have been going in the instrument cluster and they’re considerably brighter than incandescents.

As a fun side-effect, now my cluster is blue since the lack of the former bulb’s yellow hue means they don’t turn green. I actually like them better this way! Lol.

These work great for a map light replacement/“upgrade”. I had incandescent bulbs for my map lights and replaced them with these LED bulbs. They’re super bright and do job. They also come in Blue & Red if you want to give your interior a unique look.

I would NOT use these for tag lights. Sylvania bulbs aren’t CAN-BUS compatible with certain vehicles and WILL throw a code. You shouldn’t have any codes with using these for interior lighting.

2019 Toyota Sienna LE I bought these to replace the original low beam Halogen bulbs. Very easy install. I’ve used them for several months now. The lights are much brighter with better color – a huge improvement for night time driving.

There’s no change to the beam pattern, so no issues with blinding oncoming traffic. With these bulbs, the low beam lighting approaches the quality/usefulness of the factory LED lighting on my other vehicles.

Chevy Silverado 2500 hd. Replaced the factory headlights and high beams, huge difference. A must if you live in the country! Replaced blinkers, definitely needed to complete the look to match the headlights.

Replaced all bulbs in my truck and switched to LasFit LEDs. Super easy to install. Really wish you guys would make LED bulbs for the rear brake lights that have resistors built into them, so that I can make those LED as well.

Sorta like the switchbacks for the front running lights.

These LEDs are being used as side marker replacements in a classic car. They are very bright and the installation is identical to a standard filament bulb.

I have been buying various automotive LED lighting for the past few years and found that the cheaper LED’s do not last as they state in the ads. I had 2 sets that only lasted a few weeks and burnt out.

I now know that the Philips LED’s are guaranteed 8 years and that they stand behind their products. I which they would come out with a duel contact switch back for the turn signals and LED headlight.

Bought these LED bulbs to use in the instrument cluster of my 1968 Camaro. The improvement in illumination of the various gauges in the cluster was amazing. The price of these was less than anywhere else that sold these bulbs.

I like my headlights on my vehicles and off road buggies to have a bright light. With these headlights I am really impressed with how bright and luminous the lighting is. These shine way better than the brand I had been using.

The are much brighter and allow me and others to see way far out in front of us when driving. They aren’t to bright that they blind the other drivers either. I like that these have a five year warranty and the cool white light is better to me than the yellow tint lights that came factory in my side by side vehicle.

The installation process was super simple I just simply followed through with the directions that came inside the box. What really caught my attention is that these lights here have a turbo active fan that helps to keep the light cool and from over heating.

To me LED lights are the only selection I will be making for my next project.

Let me tell yall, I have bought at least 50 pairs of low beam bulbs in the last 10 years. These are the hands down BEST Bulbs I have ever bought. The light up my whole neighborhood! I know these are triple the price but they are 100% worth it!! First I bought the low beams and after 10 mins in I went ahead and ordered high beams also! Buy them and I promise you wont regret it.

! Stop wasting time with the $30,$40,$50 kits and just buy these!.

Ive used SilverStar halogen bulbs in my truck for several years, trying to achieve a better level of light over standard halogen. The longevity of the lights were 6-8 months at best costing me 4-5 times the cost of what I spent on the LASFIT LS bulbs and the SilverStar halogens didnt come close to the quality of light the LASFIT LS bulbs projected.

The LS bulbs are BRIGHT, turn on instantly, and illuminate the road clearly. I am very pleased that I added these to my 2010 Suburban, and I will be adding them to many of the other cars in my collection soon.

If you want the best light money can buy I highly recommend these !! Below is a photo with the LASFIT LS installed in the driver side headlight. The passenger side has the above average bright SilverStar halogen light.

Lasfit all the way around. Best investment I have ever made, really don’t need the high beams, but glad I got them, rediclous with both of them on, can’t believe how far down the road they throw light, I took the blue strips out to have pure white.

I LOVE EM! Update, one of the low beams burnt out just after a year, lasfit sent a replacement set they do dim slightly over time but but nothing I could complain about at all, curious to see how long this set lasts with newer ballister design.

I will re update so far all t10’s for I terror and long ones for the dome are still working just fine, I had to replace t10 corner lights a few time along with license plate light a few times, other than that A++.

Perfect led lights. They were bright during the day and night use. It’s an upgrade from my old lights and they look good. The value of the led bulbs are very affordable. Easy to install and has long time life than other bulbs.

These led headlights are so bright on my car compared to the old cheap brand I had. I love how I can see a greater distance and my headlights are so much clearer with these new bulbs. These bulbs were easy to install on my Chevy cobalt and only took about 20 minutes and I could do them myself.

I purchased a 2015 F150 new and noticed within a few days that the cargo/bed light housing was damaged. It was melting just above where the three 921 bulbs were installed. The dealer replaced the 921 bulbs with 912 that put out half the light but less heat.

Was never happy with this as a fix. After a few months I had to replace the housing. The LASFIT LEDs were recommended by a friend and gave them a try. I replaced all three bulbs in the cargo and third brake light housing and looks like I have a fix to my problem.

Over twice the light at half the current. Heat generated is also about half. Plenty of light without damage to the fixture. Highly recommend this product for this type of bulb base.

PROS: These light bulbs are INCREDIBLY BRIGHT both in daylight and especially at night. So much more so than the factory bulbs! CONS: They were an EXTREMELY tight fit in the OEM bulb sockets of the reverse lights on my 2019 GMC Yukon.

To be honest I thought that these weren’t going to fit and I did struggle for quite some time to get them to fit. I believe the base of these light bulbs is a little bit thicker than a standard light bulb and causes fitment issues with the stock socket.

However I was able to install these without damaging anything and therefore can’t complain. I’ve had them installed for over 6 months now as well without any issues.

I read GREAT reviews on these lights elsewhere, and definitely join the ranks here of TWO THUMBS UP for top quality bright lights. Forget incandescents. These LED’s are very worth the minimal time, effort, and money involved in replacing factory lights with this set.

I can see a LOT better now behind when reversing at night.

Installed these headlights in my pickup and the beam pattern is pretty much identical to their halogen bulb counterparts. The beam spread is great and a huge improvement over what was in there. Highly recommend!.

Recently purchased these lights for my 2014 Tahoe and there fantastic!! Extremely bright so far and no issues to report.

easy install and more importantly worked. learned not to trust just any youtube guy no matter how proffesional they look. Boots do not need to be cut.

Update: I installed both LED bulbs in February 2021 and it is now June 4th 2021 and one of the LED bulb has stopped working. I thought maybe it was just a connection issue so I took my whole bumbler off to see if any wire harnesses were loose but none.

Luckily I had a separate set of H11 bulbs from a different company that I installed and those work just fine. So it was definitely just that one bulb that unfortunately stopped working after a few months.

Ive searched far and wide for some decent led bulbs for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you have one youll know the halogen bulbs are straight trash. Ive tried maybe 4 sets of led bulbs and returned all 4 sets.

I decided to try the 4sided leds to see if theyll be better. In my case they are night and day difference from both holograms and the regular led bulbs. I highly recommend if you want a brighter output.

I already purchased another set for my other vehicle.

The diodes came in the incorrect position, they were facing/shining up and down when they should have been facing/shining side to side. They needed to be adjusted 90 degrees. There are 3 adjustments on the bulb with a set screw, unfortunately these adjustments are all 120 degrees a piece, hence 3 and not 4.

I had to drill a 1/16th inch hole at 90 degrees from the original setting to align them correctly with the diodes facing/shining to the sides. Before this adjustment I did not have much light output, and no focused beam whatsoever.

After the adjustment they look amazing, and I was able to adjust them to the correct height. So for future versions I would suggest making them with 4 90 degree adjustments instead of 3 120 degree adjustments.

I would give these 5 star rating if it weren’t for this issue, because after modifying them they are very bright and very nice. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. 2012 GMC Sierra Denali 2500HD.

(I also bought the LASFIT LC6 5202 fog lights, which do not need adjustment because of no reflector inside the Lamp/bulb housing and I am super pleased with them as well. ) So on closing, make sure you are at least a little bit handy with tools e.

g. drill with a 1/16th inch bit, a vice, and a tape measure to ensure you get your headlights aligned properly, but once you do!!!! MAN!! I highly recommend them, they are worth the effort.

I installed the black out tinted headlights on my truck, and it looks amazing. But the down side was that at night the stock light bulbs were almost useless. I ordered and installed a set of Lasfit H8 6000k LED lights and WOW!! What I difference.

I can now have the best of both worlds, an amazing looking truck and crystal clear SUPER BRIGHT LIGHT for night driving. This Lasfit LEDs are worth their weight in gold!! Great quality, perfect fit, no mods, plug and play.

The lights work great and looked very nice on the back of the car lighting up the plate. These ARE LED and I would expect them to last many years. After all, they are only being used when the lights are on and how much actual time is that when you think about it.

One of mine died out to a very faint, mere glow. It isn’t often I actually walk around to the back of the vehicle when the lights are on, so I really cannot say when it fried out on me. I had them in the car for 2 years.

The entire lighting system on my car is mostly stock LED lights except for the few of them that I replaced with LED, these license plate bulbs being one of them. I would expect them to last as long as the rest of the LED lights on the vehicle.

Since they are on the outside and Winter can play havoc on lights, I gave them the benefit of not simply slamming their quality. But in all honesty, I have to at least report my experience with these.

So, since they look nice in the hatch, I went ahead and ordered exact replacements. Since the other light is still working I will have a replacement handy in the glove box in case it happens again. This time I will keep a closer eye on it.

Because if it dies within a year, it should be warranted. Update. I initially left this review October 30th. Now it is February9th, not even four months later and the other light has gone out as well.

You can expect these to not last more than a couple of years and you can expect to have to buy more when they do and will die. If they would actually last as long as a LED light should, (like, forever), then I wouldn’t give them such a poor rating.

All the rest of the LED lights on the car, original or upgraded, have lasted without issue. I am gonna have to drop one more star for this item. I mean, c’mon, the license plate lights are only on when the lights are and all my driving is during the daytime.

So the “on” time for these are very short lived. I will see if the seller will cut me a break on replacements or I will just try a different brand. Now this has turned from what I thought may be a glitch to a poor experience with these lights.

Theses Led lights work amazing so far. Theses were the final touch for my new car here. I went total led from front to back with Lasfit here. Everything from led headlights/fog lights right to the rear reverse lights.

I had the white led side marker lights at first. Then after some research. I found out I had to have amber lights in the side markers. The new Honda are notorious on putting halogen lights in all their new cars.

Theses new led lights are super bright and light up the night. Amazing product here.

This product looks much better than standard filament bulbs. Installed in my 2010 FJ Cruiser all the way around and they look great. Easily doubled the brightness. More easy to see in the daytime. Fixed a dying bulb which made my right turn signal hyperflash.

Problem is fixed. Should be good for quite a while.

I own a 2011 Infiniti m37s. I consider myself a DIY expert. Upgrading my headlights and fog lights were on my list. I went w/Osram 6000k Cool Blue Intense DS2 LED bulbs. It was twin pack. After installing and visually inspecting them, I needed to find the a pair of fog lights to compliment each other.

I decided to purchase the Sylvania H8 ZEVO LEDs. I was amazed how great they both look. Neither LED lights was brighter than the other. Great balance of lumens. High quality material and design of the bulbs.

Designed into the bulb are heat fins that allow the LEDs to operate either below or within the manufacturer specs and knowing that the lights were made from a company that have quality products and a reliable company.

The one thing that made me say REALLY?! Really?!really. The price had me reconsidering buying them. Then I remembered about 6 months earlier i ordered a no brand name $18 pair of LEDs and the comparison was definitely noticeable.

So, if you are looking to replace or upgrade your lights DONT buy a cheap and low quality bulb. Keep in mind of that saying; What you pay is what you get.

2018 Ford Focus Titanium Sedan – I have tried so many different plug and play LED systems and the ZEVO lineup is by far the best out of them all. Super bright, pure white, RELIABLE LIGHT with no flickering or other embarrassing issues! oh, and they work excellent in both reflector type headlamps as well as well as projector type.

I use mine as both fog lights and headlights even though you are not supposed to use them as headlights, I do anyway because it’s my choice but they are “fog lights” do to nonsense US regulations. (I highly doubt any cop would even question you anyway since they look factory) so yes, highly recommended 100% the best LED’s on the market.

The rubber grommet is to small when I Compared it to the factory grommet, it was much thicker. I had to put gorilla tape around it so it wouldn’t fall out. The product is good the rubber just needs to be thicker in order for it to fit correctly.

Great LED amber turn signal bulbs that are really bright and excellent quality. Shipping to Canada was easy and decently priced. Highly recommended!

Returning these lights. They look more orange than red compared to the original bulb. They are also not as bright, which could be a safety issue.

Phillips Ultinon Pro9000 bought for my Tata safari 2. 0 new model high beam. Intensity is not much high but average. Cost near 9000/-₹ life of LED is longer with 5 years warranty. Many Chinese products are brighter that this.

The best bulbs I ever have had on my car,brilliant and clear light. Fitted on a C Class with projector headlight ,the beam is well projected on the road without bothering the trafic. The price is not the cheapest, but I think is worth the money, if you compare with the cheaper Chinese bulbs.

Philips it saying than it is a canbus compatible, but on my car I was needed to ad a extra canbus on driver side because from time to time the bulb it was turning off and on. all over everything sort out and I’m please with my item.

they come 5 years warranty from Philips. I hope they last at least 5 years.
