IšverstiShow in original languageI ordered the Buddy Belt in red and size 6 for my dachshund mix and had high expectations. When it arrived, I was surprised as it was floppy, the leather very thin, and deformed in a way that the strap behind the elbow tilted outward in a way that the smallest side touched the skin.

As I feared chafing, I asked for a return. Chewy was very kind and refunded me to the fullest. That’s a big plus! But now to the bad. I ordered a buddy belt from the manufacturer, as they are having a sale.

I needed to know. Guess what? The original has thicker leather, is shaped so that the straps lie flat to the body. It has a sticker indicating where it has been made, and the size stamped on it. You guessed right.

The one from Chewy has a different sticker, the leather is thinner, and the strap has no size stamp. Chewy, I think you’ve been screwed, at least with the item you sent me. Maybe you’re not, but it looks iffy to me.

And they last FOREVER…so long as you don’t have a dog who likes to chew leather like mine does, haha. But seriously, these harnesses are great looking and my dog can wear them day and night and never gets any irritation around her neck or underarms like she did with some other harnesses.

Also, the most important factor of all is my dog can’t slip out of it! Definitely try buddy belts. You and your dog will be so happy you did.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have a new puppy that is a little Yorkie banshee. Putting a harness on her is next to impossible. I have been looking for a harness that is easy to put on. Holding her still is next to impossible.

6 different brands later I decided to try the Buddy Belt. I had avoided it because of the cost. My mistake. I spent more on the the 6 frustrating harnesses than I would have spent if I had just bought the BB first.

Quick and easy to put on, fits well, is super soft but durable and does what it is supposed to do, all without fighting my little one. Walk time is now fun.

Beautiful harness. Leather is nice quality and will break in nicely. I purchased a large and it fits him great. I am already planning on ordering another size up as my puppy will likely outgrow it quickly.

Experience was easy enough, I was just disappointed the large size did not fit my GSD around the girth (3 inches short) and there is no XL in this design.

I love this harness. I have a Boston Pitbull Terrier. He is about 40 lb. it looks really good on him. I have a hard time finding a harness he cant slip out of. All the adjustible straps make it really nice and secure.

I really love the high quality leather and the felt padding that is strong and cumfrotable for him. I can now walk him with confidence knowing he cant escape my controll.

Best harness I’ve bought (It’s the last one too)! Roscoe has broken 4 harnesses until I bought this one! Fits perfect, not chaffing, and when he hears it jingle, it’s on!!! Wish they mad ligiments and tendons this strong! I need new shoulders LOL.

This is the second one that I have bought. The first lasted over 3 years. The weak spot is the chest strap on the end with only one rivet. It popped thru. It would be perfect if both ends had two rivets.

Quality material made for the strongest dogs. My 78lb. Pit bull wears this and is the only thing that can hold him.

Measurements are accurate and fits my Great Dane with no issues. Very tough. My pup is around 170 lb and I can stop him in his tracks if he tries to Jet after something, which doesn’t happen often, and the harness has held up very well without any signs of tearing.

Does not choke pup or mat hair. Pup is very comfortable and looks great. Am so happy that I got it.

Surprised how good and well done it is. Real leather, smells nice with real leather. Soft but not too much but I think with time it will get more soft a flexible. All accessories are very nice and strong.

The stitches at nice and beautiful. The size can be fixed in 3 areas (on a shoulders and around ribs. I love it has a little handle on a back and a strong ring to adjust leash. Looking good on my young Rottweiler.

Wish this product could be available in more bigger sizes!.

Fast and Ahead of time. Very impressed with the detail and quality of the vest. Gives my kid that spartan appeal. I luv it and from the looks of it he luvs it and is breaking into it. I hope this last a long time.

no softness or cushion between leather and dog. Leather is not pliable. Super was almost one month to receive.

The Voyager Padded Fleece Dog Harness is our favorite for our 13 lb miniature schnoodle. We have tried several other brands, but they have each had disadvantages. This harness is perfect for our dog.

I read the reviews before I purchased this Item for my dog and thought I would try it out. I have had several and was never happy how they fit, how they knotted up my dogs fur and it was always a struggle to hook him up.

Riley and I love the Voyager Plus suede harness. If the ratting went up to 100 that’s where I would rate it. My son has a Yorkie also but smaller then mine and was having the same problems with his dog.

Well needless to say his little Bella loves hers. I have a cement dog I have had for 30 years and put the halter on it and Riley went nuts trying to take it off of it. When he needs to go potty he walks right into it.

I would recommend it to everyone. My medium size Yorkie was on the border lline of a medium and large I went with the large and ordered him a medium also they both fit perfectly, the large has more room.

We bought this harness for our 9. 5 pound Biewer (Yorkie) in the S (small) size and it was way too big. Chewy was nice enough to send us a new one in the XS size at $5 less with no shipping. It fits like a glove.

The velcro is very grippy and the little clasp prevents it from coming lose, even with an active puppy that pulls like a 10 pound bass. Very secure. The quality is top notch and it looks great on him.

It’s also very plush and soft and he doesn’t seem to mind it at all. Overall, I would highly recommend this harness! Very happy with it.

Bought Terrain D O G Bridle Leather Rolled Dog Collar two weeks ago. It was exactly as ordered, delivered on time with exceptional quality. I have two shepherds and do not like the very wide collars that are available in almost every pet store.

I much prefer these nice leather collars for the quality, the rolled thinness and they are so unique Its almost impossible to find a nice leather collar or leash in any of the pet stores. I highly recommend this collar for larger dogs but also for our smaller fur babies.

Very well built and nice heavy leather collar! I got the 21″ size and used the 2″ adjustment with the different holes to get a good fit. My dog had a 19″ neck and it fit well.

I bought one of these, and two without the blue stitching, and all three are good collars that hold up to outdoor use. And they look nice on my Siberian Huskies.

This harness was the best purchase. I did a lot of research trying to find the right harness for agitation and bite work for PSA training and I could not be happier with my purchase. The padding that sits in front is very protective and soft on my dog.

Overall, I’ve used it on a few runs and began doing bite work with my Dutchie. It’s much better than his harness ha had when he was a small 4 month old gator. Holds very well in the chest and doesn’t ride up to his throat and choke him when he’s posted at the end of his line or making a slow drag to the target.

I give this an easy 10/10. Buckles are very strong too.

My Rottweiler is still a 9 month old puppy but very strong at 100lbs and really puts in the work at his protection lessons. His collar is black with brass detail and I wanted this harness to match, and it was exactly what I wanted cosmetically and surpassed my expectations about its quality and functionality since I thought the price was too good to be true.

I plan to take care of his equipment for as long as possible so I can pass it down to my future working Rottweilers. I chose this version versus the style with the side clips since I feel like the buckle mechanism is safer and more reliable for very long term use with a working Rottweiler.

I was looking for a high-quality leather harness for my two dogs. There really isn’t much of a selection out there, and these seemed to be the only ones that would hold-up to heavy use. I was definitely disappointed by the appearance of the product when I first received it.

The ‘fleece’ that lines the chest and back pads is not any type of fleece I have ever come into contact with. It is NOT soft, it’s more on the rough side, kind of like a felt or something. It is nothing like the fleece on human clothing – not even close.

Also, one of the back/side straps on one of the harness had edges on it that were completely ‘raw’ – no dye or anything, and very rough. It’s so obvious that it’s how I differentiate the two harnesses, so I know which one is for which dog.

Additionally, the sizing seems to be a little off. I know my measurements were correct – I’ve double-checked them many times – but I had to add holes with my leather punch to all the straps in order to get them to fit appropriately.

Definitely disappointed in this purchase, but with all the taxes and duties I had to pay to get them, I felt it would have been pointless to try to return it, since I wouldn’t get that money back either way (I assume).

It fit beautifully on my 7-month golden. There was no discomfort whatsoever and we were off and running immediately. The leather was a little stiff, but I am sure it will soften after use. Awaiting my order for lease and collar!.

This is the perfect tracking harness for patrol dogs in hot weather. A high quality, durable harness that is light weight and non-restrictive. Our dogs wear them for long tracks and never have any indication of rubbing or irritation.

I was hesitant to buy this because of its price tag but my husband insisted (and bought it ). It’s the same harness worn by a certain celebrity Dachshund we follow on social media and he and his sister have it in many different colors.

Our own celebrity Dachshund, Gwenja the Puppy Ninja, has tried a handfull of different types of harnesses, but we just hadn’t landed on a favorite, until now. The main issue is always her deep chest.

I got my older dog from the Humane society. He has Prolapsed Trachea. Not knowing what this is I have been reading up on it. Of course they told me to always get a harness never a collar for him. The harness he came with I felt was a little small so I bought him a bigger one.

It was too big so I got a smaller one. It fit around his belly but was too big at the shoulders. He developed a limp. Now considering he only weighs 15 lbs, his pulling constantly made him hack. I saw in the reviews another person whose dog had the same condition and recommended this harness.

Yes it cost 4 times the price of other harnesses but since I have been using it, he doesn’t limp and he doesn’t hack. He also doesn’t fight me to put the harness on. The leg loops are more firm as they are leather and he walks easily as those leg loops are not ever touching him.

This is the best investment I have ever made. He is 12 and I want his life to be the best it can be as long as it is. Well worth the money.
