Great product. condition leather well and makes it look like new and waterproofs nicely. Careful with the little plastic part within the sponge that you press on the shoe to release the fluid as it could scratch leather shoes and they look unsightly.

Wish this would’ve been warned somewhere. Other than that, great product.

The bottle this comes is horrible. You must ‘push down’ to open the seal internally, but even after doing this very little comes out. I was squeezing the bottle to get the liquid to flow out and the top blew off and all over myself, my boots, and the surrounding areas.

If you get this I would highly recommend you remove the ‘applicator’ and just use a rag, unless you want it everywhere and in your eyes.

Great product, easy to use. Smells a bit “chemically” but doesn’t last after you take them outdoors. I thought I had ruined my boots by using a leather boot conditioner I found out later was not intended for hiking leather boots.

But after following REI’s cleaning directions I applied the Nikwax and let it work its magic and it’s like I have a new pair of boots! Yay!.

This is an excellent leather conditioner, and in particular, for my 2950’s and 8084’s. The former gets a Spring/Autumn/Winter applications followed by the Spray Protector, the latter gets treated with the Boot Oil followed by the Natural Conditioner and only twice yearly.

Both pair, after over two years look and feel very happy, and even more importantly. They keep my feet dry. Nice to be using a product of this nature, and as a tip. Apply with fingertips as the warmth assists the application !.

I have a little warning: Since it does not contain any preservatives, it can become rancid. I bought mine about 5 years ago and applied it to my Classic Moc and liked it. Since I don’t wear the boots much, today was the next time I wanted to use it and realized only after applying the first bit that it stank awfully.

It had gotten fully rancid. It was stored at room temperature. Don’t make the same mistake and check if yours is still good before using it, or get a new one.

So, is not used an oil on my boots yet, as I purchased the all natural with the boots. With the beeswax added, I’d say there are a couple of pros and cons. The pros: additional water resistance that comes with the nice seal procided by the wax.

This should – in theory – help provide some additional protection and longevity as well. The only real con is that the wax does what wax does. As it cools, it will solidify and create a thin matte layer.

In heavy flex areas it will crack and flake. This you can really only see on close inspection. My solution was to apply, wear them for a bit, then take my brush back to them to remove the excess flaked wax.

I plan to purchase some mink oil to use as well for the next clean/oil. My thoughts are to apply a base layer of oil then this product for a nice supple feel as well as the added protection.

I have used this product before and I like it a lot. I usually just use a cleaner but if I am going to put something on the leather to dress it up this is what I use. It dose not leave any kind of oily of slippery residue.

Product well packed and very quickly shipped. The conditioner keeps your leather supple and new looking with a wonderful fragrance.

This product was a disappointment. Though it goes on well on leather furniture, it does not last very long at all before you can see contact marks again. I, personally, would not recommend this product.

This is a really good product for leather! I use it on my everyday shoes as well as work boots! It makes the leather look like new or even better because it leaves the leather soft and supple! It says not to use it on roughout leather but I have applied it to my Asolo hiking boots as well as other true roughout leather.

It changes the color somewhat but keeps the leather soft and pliable. Keeps it from developing cracks. Also it is somewhat water resistant. This is the best leather conditioner I’ve ever used! I apply it quite heavy, let it sit for awhile to soak in and then wipe off the excess and give it a shine with a boot polishing brush.

I did some research looking for a good leather conditioner. I had used mink oil to waterproof my fine leather boots in the past, but I wasn’t happy with the overall results. This included a discernible smell that wasn’t the most pleasant to my senses.

Blackrock Leather N Rich is just what I was looking for. in a leather maintenance product. It’s easy to apply and when used as directed, a “little” does indeed go a long way. There is no annoying smell (very pleasant / natural)) and it brought my boots back to the original color (saddle) without overly darkening them.

Also, the leather turned softer and more supple than it was prior to the application. I highly recommend Blackrock for not only the cost and higher coverage (cost effective), but the end result makes it a winner when it comes to cleaning, softening, and preserving fine leather.

I am very pleased with the results.

This product was recommended to him by several friends on a forum. I thought it was a bit expensive, and it is but it is 3 times better than my old standby which is almost as expensive. This does in one step, with one product what used to take me two or three steps and two or three different products.

I just got this to use on the leather in my car. It’s rich and smooth, and even cleaning the leather with it was a pleasure. It got the leather looking really clean, and was so rich going on that I didn’t worry about chemicals damaging the seats.

The Lexol got it really clean, and then the conditioner got it super soft and smooth. It looks amazing, and has that deep, inner shine that I love to see on leather upholstery. Interestingly, it’s not super slick as has sometimes happened, and just has a buttery softness.

I feel like I did something really good for the leather, and love the feeling. It has no fragrance or chemical odors, but has a buttery consistency and is easy to apply with the pads that are included.

Oh, and the whole kit comes in a box that will be great for storage, as it’s sturdy and all products fit in nicely. I’m pleased with it and recommend it for pampering your leather.

I had heard about Lexol products since I’m always looking for quality cleaning items for my cars. One car has a light tan leather interior that I noticed looking not so clean anymore so I was looking forward to using this.

I applied the cleaner per the instructions. I only did half the seat so I could compare. I notice the fluid on the seats getting dirty and some small stains coming out. I wiped dry with a clean cloth and compared.

It was noticeably cleaner , but not as much as I had hoped. Perhaps maybe using a light brush may help next time. I then put on the preservative. It came out of the bottle pretty quickly and very freely.

I put it on. It wasnt sticky or very glossy. It looked nice. My only real complaint is that both items were pretty fluid and came out of the bottles pretty fast and liquidy. I was kinda expecting something a little thicker and creamy, especially with the preservative.

This is my first car with leather. I defiantly have a love hate relationship with it. I love the looks of it but I hate the weather restrictions. Its hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You would think it would be easy to just wipe off and go on but its so not! If anything, and I mean anything gets on it, it shows! It gets sticky and runs the majority of time if its hot and freezes if its cold making it instead very hard to keep clean.

So my seats on my otherwise brand new car were looking pretty shabby. In fact, I was just about to buy seat covers to cover them which I really did not want to do! So when this came in the mail, I was never so ready to try it out.

I was truly amazed. My seats looked new again when I was done. Its like they came back to life! They were clean and shiny again. They also seemed softer and smelled good as well. I have zero complaints.

Very satisfied and it will most defiantly be my go to for all my future leather needs.

On using this product, the leather seemed to have regained it’s softness and natural texture. The creaminess penetrated the leather leaving a natural shine. Great product.

Used this to conditioner on a well used leather bag. Soaked into the dry leather well and came out looking and feeling great. Recommend!

The cream is very thick, and when you use it, it really soaks into the leather and really rejuvenates it. The whole leather suite looked fantastic when I had used it.

I used pure lanolin first on my leather, then moved to so seal, which is a great product but these Aussies have it down. Meant to condition horse tack etc in Australia’s dry climaye, it will do exceptionally well in my part of the world.

Definitely recommend this for dry locations for sure. But the protection this offers would work just as well in more humid climates, the waterproofing capabilities are unbelievable and it says right on the HUGE jar protects well under freezing temp as well.

All around my favorite. Just rub it. in thoroughly, I use my bare hands, and let it sit until it either soaks it all up, or stops drying, then either reapply if needed, or just buff dry with a soft cloth.

I use this on my leather knives and sheaths mostly, but it’s on my belt, my boots, my gloves, my axe overswing protector and everything else leather I own. I won’t buy anything else, and you get a lot for the price! Can’t be beat, and I’m tough on my equipment.

This makes the leather as effective as plastics etc, without losing the aesthetic of leather. Also gel rest for restoring dry leather. I had a 100+ year old leather handled knife that was dry but only barely chipped and missing no rings whatsoever.

I’ll try to attach before and after pics. As well as one of my 1950’s CASEXX huntingknife with original stacked leather handle and sheath. it’s perfect! It took a week or 2 of daily rub downs and letting it dry before the old one came back but this thing is supple and the color came back etc, highly recommend this for your leather and I’ve used all the methods I’ve heard of over the years, I’m pretty sure it’s almost pure lanolin and beeswax.

I just tested out a TON of different leather conditioners. This one is the best, hands down. It is not waxy. It doesn’t stink or smell of chemicals like some do and the color staining was super minimal – some of my vachetta didn’t darken at all.

This is my new go-to.

I’ve used Aussie on my boots for years, but I use it to finish off my leather projects as well. I use Neatsfoot Oil on almost all my leather projects, but I always use Aussie when it’s complete. I love mink oil, but this has the added beeswax which helps seal the leather a bit.

A great product and lasts a long time.

I really love this stuff. It works great on my dyed veg tan projects, softening and enhancing the product.

I applied this after a few wears of my Danner Moc Toe Boots (also from moosejaw, also amazing) and it felt like it helped soften up the leather and help break them in. Also cant beat the fact that it adds rain and stain protection, ive been out in the rain in them a bit and this really does help.

It is easy to apply. Doesn’t leave the shoes with a greasy residue. Work really well. Gives the leather a semi gloss sheen.

This probably is a fantastic product if used correctly, unfortunately I followed the instructions to coat sparingly let dry and then apply a couple more coats, sadly it didn’t say anything about buffing the product off in between coats and as the product is butter coloured, it has resulted in my new black boots having a yellow bloom to them now, so beware : (.

This is a water-based proofer and the “how to use” suggests applying it to wet leather. This works (and of course is handy if you’ve been out in the rain or snow); the resulting thin coating of product seems to do the job.

Don’t neglect the bit of the instructions that tells you to wipe it off before it dries because if you let it stay it’s streaky-white and hard to shift. It would have been nice if it had been easier to break the seal under the sponge to get started.

First of all you need to follow the instructions. This has been used to protect a new (reasonably expensive) leather hand bag. It was applied and buffed off as per instructions, left to dry and has left an invisible protective layer.

I have used 3 or 4 Nikwax products now and all have performed brilliantly. This is no exception.

I used this on my leather furniture. When I purchased it , they told me I would need to put some conditioner on it. I forgot about that for awhile. When I finally found this product I put it on one of my chairs first with my hand.

It’s like a lotion, no strong smell. I could literally feel how much the leather was soaking it up. Directions say to buff after it dries. I didn’t need to do that on mine. There was an amazing difference in the feel of the leather after it was dry.

My furniture was thirsty! Glad I finally found this to protect my investment. Didn’t make the leather shine, but my furniture wasn’t shiny to begin with. Great conditioner. Gave 4 stars because I wish I could have sprayed it on for ease of application but it’s like lotion, so that wouldn’t work.

Aside from that I would give 5 stars.

Great product…I have used for several years. Was recommended by Salesperson at Boots Etc when I bought my first pair of Tony Lamas over ten years ago. High quality product, easy to use and immediate results. Used on all my leather shoes the day it arrived and I’ve not seen them look this good since the day I bought them. It did darken my tan colored boots and wedges, but only because they were previously so dry.

Color toned down after about 5 days but it looks amazing! Makes products smell like they did when they were new, so obviously moisture rich. Cuticle of the leather feels smooth. Again, amazing product, I’m a fan for life! Packaging was perfect.

This is a great, mild leather conditioner! There’s hardly any scent, and it goes on smooth and soaks in very nicely. Used a few coats on a pair of vintage leather boots that were cracking, and it did wonders.

I need to test this out in the real world a while. If it proves to be as good or better than Sno Seal on hard, shiny leather, it will be my go to. It polished up nicely on a pair of chrome tanned coach leather boots after waiting the recommended 4 hours.

Sno Seal is hard to beat on leathers you don’t mind getting a little gunked up or attracting dirt. I also use Sno Seal on canvas/cloth hats. It does well.

I’ve used this product for a few years now, I really enjoy it, and highly recommend giving it a try. It can be a bit messy, but the more used to working with it you get, the easier and less messy it gets to use over time.

Just work a small amount (a little goes a long way) into clean dry leather, work more liberal amounts into stitching to aid with water resistance, and buff out excess. This stuff is basically a grease that helps keep leather healthy.

I work in an environment where my shoes or boots routinely get wet, I think this helps in keeping my feet dry, and leather footware looking good.

I have been using Meltonai shoe creme since I was first introduced to Meltonian way back in 19 65. Been using it since to nourish my leather shoes and keep the color fresh. A little pricey, but I love the stuff!.

This is top notch polish. I’ve used it for many years on expensive leather and it not only applies a nice finish, it seems to me to keep the leather conditioned, as well. Use sparingly. A little goes a long way.

Perfect. Color is perfect, quality is perfect. This product is exactly what I remember using from my youth.

I’ve been using Urad boot polish for almost 9 years now, and I swear by it! I’ve had the same pair of field boots for 7 or 8 years and have always used Urad on them. When I was younger I rode only a couple times a week so I only polished a few times a year.

However, more recently I’ve started riding 3 or 4 times a week and my boots have really taken a beating. This stuff restores them like nothing else. Even in the summer, when the inner calves of my boots start showing salt damage from sweat, a quick wipedown with a wet cloth and some polish and they look brand new.

I constantly get compliments on how shiny my boots are, and people I ride with have asked multiple times in the last few months if I bought new boots. Leather cleaner and conditioner can’t hold a candle to this stuff.

The consistency is stickier than you would expect and you have to completely buff it into the leather and give it time to dry or you’ll end up with a sticky mess. Just be sure to read the directions carefully, I’ve never had an issue.

On top of all that, a tub of this stuff lasts a long time. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this product, I recommend it to everyone!.

This polish is horrendous. It is extremely sticky and rubs off black everywhere, leaving a mess everywhere it touches (yes, when it is dry. ) It is just so messy and really does not leave that much of a shining effect.

Maybe it is the leather of my tall boots, but I do not think so. Regardless, I will not be using this polish again.

Nothing compares to this boot polish. It is one coat and amazing. Also works great on polishing up the leather Equifit boots.

Probably one of the best for treating aniline leather that must be fed and cleaned periodically according to use. Use little and often. Buy the biggest size if you have a lot of aniline leather in the house for economy and it should last for 3 to 5 years using 6 monthly.

I have 4 leather sofas and a footstool.

Seems to be the right mix for black leather items. Leather becomes a bit more supple and shows a nice sheen after a bit of buffing. But it doesn’t feel or smell like too many bad chemicals.

I really like the way it clean and condition the leather,dont leave any greasy or sticky film. I highly recommend it, great price for a awesome product

In the end my Ultima sailing boots are looking good and ready for next season. But had to call the office as not sure the products I had purchased were correct. Initially purchased the wrong stuff and still think I don’t need one of the products suggested.

Not very clear from website/YouTube video what products should be used to clean and protect these boots.

One of those products that just does what is says on the package without extra fuzz. I like that it is a manual pump bottle and not a spraycan. Shake and spray, easy as that.

The conditioner does not spray out of nozzle properly, it mainly drips, unsatisfactory for applying to my boots evenly

The lucchese cleaner and conditioner worked great. My only reason for 4 stars rather then 5 is it didn’t help my lucchese goat skin boots at all. The skin is almost brittle like and I had really hoped this would fix that but it hasn’t.

Not sure what to do about them but it did work wonders on my gator, ostrich and caiman boots.

I recently bought my first pair of Lucchese boots, so conditioning and protecting them is needed. Great product and so easy to use. Love my boots and conditioning them will make them last for many years to come.
