Very disappointed in this kit. I followed the directions to the letter and my combat boots ended up VERY dark and all one color (as opposed to the varied colors when I first got them) and looked nothing like they did when I received them.

The tongue in the photo is pre-conditioner and the toe of the shoe is the “after”. I reach out to support and was told to buff them again which I did and nothing changed. On my husbands recommendation, I purchased a Kiwi polish kit from CVS and it worked very well.

Would like to return the Cobbler’s Choice kit. It may condition, but there’s no shine to be found for the combat boots. Would not recommend. I was afraid my boots were ruined, but the alternative polish kit worked much better.

I have only tried it the one time on my motorcycle boots. The brush feels good in the hand, not too big, not too small, and the bristles are not really stiff. The cloth is just a standard microfibre cloth, nothing really special there.

The liquids work pretty good. The cleaner paired with the brush took my worn beat in boots to almost looking brand new! Then I hit them with the conditioner and the waterproofing spray and the boots almost look just like when I bought them.

I will not be buying this kit again, but I will be buying the liquids. I like that they are all natural as well.

the brush feels good, the bristles aren’t falling out and the wood has a good heft. the cleaner does it’s job well and I haven’t had any stains or weird residue. the conditioner is easy to use and there does seem to be a noticeable difference between before applying and after the conditioner dries (I did 2 coat/dry cycles).

the waterproofing spray seems to work well also. I wouldn’t say that it makes the boot waterproof but it definitely makes the leather water resistant to the point where majority of water will just bead off.

a huge bonus point is that none of these items have an offensive or especially strong odor. I feel comfortable just using them indoors on top of a towel next to a window.

Im so upset that i forgot to take a before photo but when I say this stuff is so awesome ! I want to clean everything with it ! I used it on my vintage Louis Vuitton Alma handbag & the bag looks fabulous ! Im so very pleased & I highly recommend ! Im going to follow up by purchasing the conditioner next.

I used this cleaner on a vintage D&B handbag and it removes the dust and dirt well. It’s a good sized bottle too. I plan on using this to clean a smooth leather vintage jacket. Be sure to read the instructions first.

This worked really well to clean up my light-colored summer bag. It wasn’t super dirty, but I could definitely tell a difference after cleaning it with this product. I’ll be trying it on shoes next!

I wish I had taken a before and after picture of my couch, but I honestly thought this cleaner would be just like all the others. Takes forever to clean, does absolutely nothing, and takes 3/4 of a bottle just to clean the seat cushions.

This blew my mind. We bought our leather couch from goodwill as we have a dog and were getting tired of the messes that come with not being able to properly clean a couch. That being said, it came with a lot of stains.

We bought pretty much every leather cleaner from walmart and gave it a shot, and the stains remained. As soon as the cleaner would dry, it looked exactly the same. Then we tried this cleaner, and whoa.

It took a little longer to dry (maybe we just used too much? Either way, we were sitting on the couch immediately, it was just slightly damp), and it got MOST of the mystery stains out of it! It removed all of the dog grime that comes with a farm dog who prefers to sleep on the couch, and it looked like an almost brand new couch.

I did not use the conditioner, but plan to buy some as I hope it’ll keep those results lasting a little longer!.

The Lexol All Leather Deep Cleaner is great for my car leather seats, leather bags and leather jackets. and then shoes. I used the Lexol All Leather Deep Cleaner on my car leather seats, my car is 8 years old, and the leather seats need cleaning and some reconditioning.

I used both the Lexol deep cleaner and the Lexol leather conditioner. I had really good results in the first application, and much better results after re-applying the next week. My car leather seats look new and softer.

I also used both deep cleaner and conditioner to do some of my leather bags and my favorite leather jacket – the results were amazing – I am very impressed by the outcome. The deep cleaner does a really good job, and I recommend to finish the job off with the leather conditioner.

I almost exclusively use the black polish tin, but I’ve used the brown a couple of times. I also have never actually taken this with me anywhere for ‘travel,’ but I love that it comes with a case to keep all the accessories together.

And while I’ve used the sponges, I prefer the buff cloths that come with this kit. I occasionally use the stiff brush for my boots and belts. I paid $11. 88 plus tax for this kit at Walmart. Worth the price, as this will last me a long time, although I wish the buff cloths were bigger.

I have small hands, and they are small even for me. They’re more like squares of sample fabric. Very small.

Best shoe polishing kit at a great price! I’ve used this on all my shoes, it’s so good that it’s the only shoe polish kit that I’ll use on Gucci loafers! I like that it comes with instructions – buff and polish for a normal shine, or buff, polish, sprinkle a little water on the shoe, polish and buff again, then shine with the fabric strip, for a super shiny job.

There is enough polish in this kit to last a really long time. The case isn’t that cute, but it is reusable and nice that it keeps everything in one case. There are way more expensive kits out there, but this does exactly the same job as those.

This turned all of my dried out, scuffed up, faded looking leather into like-new quality again! This kit is fantastic because it contains everything you need to apply and buff the product for brown and black leathers.

Also the value is awesome. I think it’s $15 for everything, which is amazing because a single tin of one of the leather polished by itself is about $7. The brush is a big brush of good quality, the sponges are the easiest and least messy way to apply the polish, and the buffing cloth is really nice.

This is absolutely worth buying to give your favorite shoes/purses/belts the TLC to restore them to like-new again.

I received my KIWI Leather Care Kit today and i used it. It worked great. I did wait a little bit longer for the delivery because it was delayed but it was worth it. The only problem i have is they send a brown and a black polish i have no need for a brown.

I would have liked to have had a choice in colors.

I bought this product because I was not sure what the best things were for me to care for my Red Wing boots. It is a great deal if you need all of the items in the package, however, you may be better off buying the items separately if you do not.

This stuff is great. Tip: Use on boots w/ toe caps. Works and looks much better. Used it for years in military.

This was a great polish for my tactical boots. I also used it on a pair of dress boots. The shine is a high gloss thats unbelievable. Apply to boots and let dry in the sun. if possible allow boots to dry for the day.

If you apply polish to the heels allow more time to dry. You will be very satisfied with this product.

This is a bull shift product! It lasts for a 50 m. walk, then you got to remove the peelings and brutalize youre leather with acetone to do all over again! From a Veteran. do not waste your money and time.

I am a big fan of Saphir products after using other products like Kiwi, Meltonian etc. I started with Saphir Renovateur to clean and condition the black shoes, then applied Saphir Creme polish and finally with Saphir Amiral Gloss.

The shine on the shoes was perfect. You can also create a mirror gloss with this product.

IF YOU WANT A CHEAPER VERSION OF THE MIRROR GLOSS FROM SAPHIR, THIS IS IT AND IT WORKS THE SAME WAY !!! FOR MUCH LESS

I like both products. The high gloss wax polisth is mandatory if you like to get a top-notch shine.

The products are good, but it’s not so well explained how to use them, for example the wax need to be cleaned with a towel but it’s not written, so I had my bag covered with dust that glued. Then, on the website it’s written that you have to use the Wonder Balm INSIDE the skin, but when I asked by email if I could use also on the external side they reply to me that the wax must be used only EXTERNALLY.

I have some difficult to understand.

A fantastic kit to protect and look after your boots. An excellent quality cloth, and two good sized products, wonder balm to nourish and protect and a ultra protecter spray to protect from weather for not just leather but suede and nubuck.

Easy to use, no marks and stickiness. Reassured my boots are ready for winter.

This kit is just the tonic for your Dr Martens, come rain or shine. The balm makes the leather soft and supple while the protector will give protection from the elements. And there’s enough to last a long long time.

I rubbed this dressing into my boots which were looking pretty beat up. Working the dressing into the boot the leather became much softer and removed the scuffs and scratches – looking like new boots out of the box.

What I like the most is that their waterproof. I believe this dressing renewed the boots waterproofing.

Works great for protecting my new boots, and brought my old boots back to life. They look so much better after I applied this, though it’s worth noting the leather is a bit darker. But that’s to be expected.

This applies pretty easily, and gives some good protection from the indignities footwear has to put up with in Minnesota winters. It keeps the leather looking good. As far as I can tell, it is pretty much the same as Otter Wax Boot Wax, and that’s a good thing, but I actually like this package a little better.

It may darken your leather a bit, but nothing serious and actually looks good. The time to start using this is on new footwear. It keeps them looking nice and new very well. I also used it on boots I’d worn quite a lot, and it works well on them, too, but takes more work and a more liberal application.

This is the stuff to get for your Bean Boots, Bison Chukas, Algash Bison loafers. Highly recommended.

I have used Boot Guard exclusively for years for both my every day, runaround boots (L. L. Bean Engineer Boots) and my serious backpacking and hiking boots (Scarpa Kinesis Pro). I’ve had 2 pairs of the Engineer boots, the first was a bit rough to break in, especially on the mack of my ankle because of the boot’s cuff.

For the second pair, I put a thick coat of Boot Guard all over, including the cuff, and left it overnight. The next day I rubbed the excess wax off and the boot was perfectly broken in. And despite not being waterproof, they stay very dry from the wax.

As for my hiking boots, as a field biologist, I take them on extremely difficult, wet, mud-soaked expeditions all over the world. The leather ends up dry and stiff and will damage the leather after some time.

After getting home I clean the boots thoroughly and apply Boot Guard, and my boots typically last 6-8 hard years. If you have leather boots, use this product for comfort, water resistance, and longevity.

I mentioned this product while reviewing a new pair of boots. I recommended it at that time, but I didn’t fully appreciate how good this product really is. I have tried upwards of 25 water proofing products in the last 60 years.

Typically, I would reapply the boot dressing on a near daily basis. This has been a great winter for snowshoeing. I snowshoe daily and today was only the second day I had to apply the boot guard. The beeswax creates a hard finish that lasts for months.

A little goes a long way. I may never need another jar of this great stuff. This is absolutely the best, and I have tried them all.

Wanted to restore several pairs of white leather shoes. Used the full range of kiwi products to do it. The cleaners worked well however the whitener was horribly ineffective. Took 3 treatments to get it to cover the “grayish white” that the leather was once cleaned and the used the white shoes polish which took 2 treatments to get to hold an even looking finish.

Someone from KIWI really needs to do a thorough “how-to” for white shoes because I either didn’t do it right or needed to know going in how many steps would be involved to get their product to work. Considering white leather shoes are a staple in pretty much every summer wardrobe you’d think the good folks as SC Johnson / KIWI would invest a little time in showing people exactly the best way to use their products for a good result.

I came across this product on another social media platform and I am sooo thankful I’m aware this exists!! I had a pair of white converse that were close to 5 years old, so obviously their was lots and lots of stains.

By the time I was done I could’ve sworn they were brand new. I also used this product on my white vans and afte the process it left a white baking soda type of texture on the top layer of the shoe, it came out the more I wore them but I think there are certain meterials that work better.

My Walmart store stopped carrying the KIWI shoe whitener I have used for decades on all my white Reeboks, so I decided to try walmart. com to see if they offered it and YES they do. All three inexpensive bottles arrived today and I just polished one pair of my Reebies and they are bright white just like I have always loved them.

I hope this great shoe whitener is never discontinued. I think I shall order ten more bottles just in case. Three dollars and change are all they are charging now. I am so happy.

I’m right on the fence of 3 or 4 stars. I actually have a go-to shoe protectorate and repair wax (Doc Marten’s Wonder Balm) but some hand sanitizer dripped on my brand new cognac/amber Florsheim’s. Before I realized it, the drop severely faded the leather in one spot.

The Wonder Balm is neutral and didn’t do much to repair the color so I thought I’d try this. To be fair, it is a big ask to essentially re-dye leather, but the toe of my shoe also had a light scuff. The shoe creme is softer than a typical wax and seems to help with getting worked into the leather.

The color is a direct match, and it did slightly blend the spot area but it’s still noticeable, as is the slight scuff mark. I cannot comment on longevity of using it for 15 years on the same pair of shoe like the Wonder Balm, but I’ll still probably use the Wonder Balm since it’s proven itself.

After writing the review I think 4 stars is appropriate, soft consistency, color matches, it was partially effective on a very tough job.

I bought this shoe creme at the suggestion of the website to go along with my Kenmoor in burgundy. Upon receiving the creme I discovered that it is a different shade of red than the burgundy Kenmoor is.

It is pointless to return such a low-cost item through the mail, but I don’t have a use for it now that I know it is a much brighter red than the one used in the new pair of Imperials I bought. It is quality shoe creme, though.

Although I own several pairs of Florsheim shoes, this polish wasn’t for shoes. I have a leather couch and chair that is an amber color and over the years small veinlike cracks appeared in the leather where there was no longer any color.

I contacted several leather businesses in the area and no one could help me. I was very disappointed that a quality leather product after years of use, did no longer have a good appearance and there seemed to be no solution.

I came up with the idea of trying a shoe cream the same color since leather is leather. Unfortunately I couldn’t fine a matching color. Then came an email from Florsheim and I found that they, in fact, did have an amber colored shoe cream that almost perfectly matched.

I ordered a jar and I was astonished with the results. The couch and chair look like new again. I have since ordered two more jars of the shoe cream. Florsheim saved the day!.

I’ve used well known brands in the past which didn’t cover the scuff Mark’s on my hotter shoes. I’m heavy with shoes so they soon look worn out. I tried this brand with an open mind, not expecting good results even though reviews recommend it.

I am converted. This polish works. It covered all but the deepest scuffs, went on well and is a good colour with rich pigment. I’ve used it once but expect even better coverage the more I use it. It has given a new lease of life to shoes that were ready for the bin.

I shall try the grey next. I’m really pleased with the polish and recommend it.

This had everything that I was looking for all in one container to take care of my Lucchese Boots, even a brush! The bag that holds all of the goodies together is solidly made too, which is a good indication of the pride that the company has for it’s products! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the brush bristles have a crease from one of the bottles of more than half its length.

Had boots for 20+ years but didn’t take the nest care of them. just brought them to the shoe guy. Unplanned purchase of a pair of your ostrich boots and I knew I wanted to care for these. didn’t get this product “for Christmas” as hoped for so I bought and have been using it.

I had been trying to find a good leather care kit so I could give my boots the care they deserve. This kit is perfect and it’s compact size makes it easy to store or even travel with. The case it comes in is of good quality.

It’s good stuff; it goes on easy and wipes off easy, and buffs to a nice shine. It takes some practice on how much to squeeze out of the tube, and not getting it on your shoe laces (unlace your shoes first!!.

rather obvious, duh), eyelets, the welt stitches (unless they’re black), contrast white stitching, etc. If you have these problems, use a hard shoe polish (wax) like the old-school Kiwi (for an old-school high-gloss shine) or the neutral-color shoe polish.

The polish worked great, made my shoes look brand new again. Was easy to apply and made the leather supple and shiny again. However, they sent it to me in quite a large box for such a small item with no packaging at all, so when I received it the lid had come off and it had leaked polish all over the outside of the tube and inside of the box.

Please improve packaging by including packaging paper or packaging air bubbles.

This was packaged so badly. The bottle doesn’t come sealed and was just thrown in a box with laces and a brush. No filler. It got all over everything. Trying to clean it off it got all over my floor.

Even harder to clean off. No clue how the product actually is. Not being sealed makes me not want to purchase again.
