Amazing Quality Awesome piece of kit. Really good quality leather and fixings. The stitching is really tough and the buckle ect is also really well made. Hard to find a properly made product these days but these guys are on it.

Medium is my normal size. I swapped it for a large after I received it. With my bags on it. I was on the largest hole. With extra winter clothing I sized up. Seems like great quality! Has not stretched out like some leather “pants” belts do.

I often hook my drill or impact to the back of my belt. I was concerned with width of belt but they hook perfectly. Very comfortable belt! I highly recommend!.

I’m a corporate chef and couldn’t be happier with this belt. When shopping for belts, I was surprised at how difficult it was to find something with my desired characteristics – no shiny buckles, rivets, or loops; no obvious logos; a matte finish that helps hide scuffs; thick leather that doesn’t become deformed after pulling it tight day-in and day-out; and wide enough so that it doesn’t cut into my waist, yet narrow enough to fit through standard belt loops.

This belt hits on all these marks, _and_ it can take a beating. A great belt that has lasted through years of daily use at work and on my days off with jeans. Strongly recommended.

This belt is exactly what I have come to expect from the Carhart name, great quality. And the service from Cabela’s is exactly the same, great. I did order the wrong size which is certainly not Cabela’s or Carhart’s fault but more the result of wishful thinking on my part, age, and my wife’s consistently great cooking.

I just don’t fit into anything 38 anymore. 40 is far more realistic. Reordering was easy and the only hitch in the timeliness was that for whatever reason the replacement sat in a relay depot here in SoCal for 7 days.

Again, not Cabela’s fault. I’m completely satisfied. I will continue to happily do business with Cabela’s for another 40+ years, or for as long as we’re both still around.

This is my second belt of this same type. I put the first thought hard use for over a decade, under all sorts of conditions. The only reason it wore down is because of a hole I faultily punched myself.

Great quality overall. I’ll keep buying this belt forever. Personally, I have to order two sizes larger (size 44 inches) than my average pants waist size (40 inches), but Carhartt makes it easy to make returns if you order the wrong size like I did.

I have been searching for a good leather belt for some time now. Belt made of real leather, of one solid piece of leather that will not delaminate and fall apart. And also something that does not cost $199.

99. I almost gave up and then I found this belt from Timberland. It looks and feels so good. It is quite wide (1 1/2 inch) but it is very soft and pliable. I also like its rugged, rebellious look. It gives the belt a youthful and modern look, and makes it stand out from the typical “tame and polished” accessories.

I hope it lasts as long as my previous leather belt that I miss so much.

I bought this belt a few weeks ago after putting off buying a new belt in this lighter brown color for an unnecessarily long time. I am happy to say that this was the right fit, literally and figuratively.

The quality is solid, and the color matches a few different leather shoe tones. I bought a couple sizes up from my waist measurement, which ended up being generous (but probably the right move since buying belts at your actual waist size can be risky.

I came into the store for shoes and left with this belt as well. The price was excellent but what really appealed to me was the construction: one piece of leather with a quality casual buckle. No stitching and lining to come apart, no synthetic layer, just tanned leather.

Having no clue how to order a belt, I measured the one I had and went with that measurement. That is not the way to measure a belt as the one that came was huge! Nice but huge! Lehmann’s took full responsibility for my error as they had no instructions online on how to measure for a belt.

They credited me and I gifted the beautiful leather belt to my niece’s husband. This makes me feel very confident about future purchases!.

No imitation letter, Appears to be from one piece. No peeling separating or cracking after 6 months. Great everyday belt, wide enough to support tools but narrow enough to work with Casual business dress pants.

A lot of my old belts are starting to crack. It’s time to replace them, but I don’t want a layered belt that is sewn together, because they don’t hold up. These belts are one piece, and made like harness leather.

Some of those reversible belts have a trick buccle that needs to be pulled out, then you can go from black, to brown. Two tiny screws hold it all together, and causes a separation, so it’s time to chuck it.

Good belt, but even though described as “oil-tanned”, was pictured as being a glossy-finished belt, which was what I was looking for – they’re hard to find in tan. Unfortunately, the belt has an oil finish.

Except for being disappointed at the finish, I’m happy with the belt – it makes a good holster belt and the size is right on.

Sturdy. Even a little thicker than I expected. Useable as gun belt if necessary. Even used twice to replace a broken cinch strap.

I ordered a size 34″ belt, I got a 44″ belt! Not happy at all!! The quality of the belt looks great but really 10 inches longer than I ordered:(

Was looking for a leather belt for my bf for Christmas and read tons of reviews for designer belts and like rugged outdoorsy belts. All had super mixed reviews. Then I remembered my one belt is from Banana Republic and it has lasted years.

So I decided to try this one, and I couldn’t be happier! Looks and feels great! Feels very sturdy and like it will last a while. True to size when doing the standard order a size up from waist size for belts method.

The BR belt has a knurled roller in the buckle; this one just has a rough knurled buckle that looks like a roller – but isn’t. That rough edge scratches the leather. The buckle is a few mm too narrow for the leather.

Purchased to complete my belt collection: from black to light brown. Good fit. Excellent width. Thick, but not too thick buckle. BR definitely did not waist our time designing this model.

Store associate advised me the belt would stretch a hole, may e two, so I bought a size smaller that I could just reach the first hole. 6 months later and I’m on the 5th and final hole. I haven’t lost any weight.

I can understand a bit of stretch, but to stretch out the whole range of available holes is concerning. If I were to have bought a belt any smaller, I wouldn’t have been able to reach the first hole to start wearing it.

If the belt stretches any further, I will have to punch my own hole and maybe trim the end so it’s not flapping around all wonky. Impressed with the leather, less than happy with how much it has stretched.

True to Red Wing’s quality, this belt was beautiful and fit true to size. Unfortunately, the “Oro Russet” colouring was a little too orange/reddish for my tastes. It is a colour unique to Red Wing’s clothing line and while it is very nice looking, I would have a hard time matching this belt with shoes unless I bought another pair of Oro Russet Red Wing boots.

Had my local Red Wing dealer where I buy all of my Red Wing products from order this because he doesn’t stock them. Red a review here it matches the Iron Ranger 8111s. I wear a 36 waiste pant and tried on a 38 belt in store, fit perfectly I secured it on using the center hole.

I ordered a 38 Heritage belt and when it arrived it was stamped size 38 but once I put it on it tightened passed all the holes. Larry, the owner of the shop held it up against his other size 38 belts and this was longer than the 40s.

Since the belt is stitched and not riveted he couldn’t shorten it. The color didn’t match my 8111s at all either. Traded it in for the 98511 belt to match my 8111 boots and the quality of the 98511 feels way nicer and is half the price.

Don’t buy this unless you want a very long belt that seems unfinished and cheap.

I was reluctant to buy a belt online because I’ve always preferred to try belts on in the store. Plus, I’ll admit, I’ve always been a bit unclear about the size numbers on the belt and how they relate to waist measurements.

This past Sunday, I was in a mall store and picked up what I believe was nearly the same identical Levi’s belt [or maybe it was even the same one] I ordered from Amazon and am reviewing. However, in the mall store, before I could pay for the belt, security emptied the mall and the first thing we heard from store management as we were being rushed out of the store was there was an “active shooter” in the mall, and gunshots were heard.

(Turned out later that a fight had broken out in the food court, and the supposed gunshots were from a broom being smacked onto a table. ) Given that the standard protocol was to evacuate the mall, I spent the next hour or so returning to my vehicle and eventually driving out of the mall in the traffic jam that ensued.

The result was an experience I’ll not likely forget, plus I never bought the belt. However, I remembered the belt size, and looked up men’s belts on Amazon that evening, and ordered as close to the same belt as I had had in my hands a few hours earlier.

I am pleased to report that the belt delivered fit as well as the one in the store (and cost less). The belt looks like it will last me a few years. I can only hope that I remember the sizing in a few years when it comes time to replace it, which I will most likely do again via Amazon.

I needed a belt to wear on finer occasions. I had a brown belt previously and it showed multiple scratches and scuffs after normal wear. This new belt from Levi’s is amazing. No scuffs so far and a great clean color brown that matched with just about everything.

The belt is a little stiff when you first put it on but after 2 or 3 times wearing it, it is very comfortable. Overall I love it!.

Love these belts, they look and feel great especially with having an allergy to all other belts. The costumer service from this place is also amazing ! We changed the size of the belt a few times before they got to ship it out and they were so wonderful about it.

I’ve needed new belts for quite a while. My old ones are lower quality and years and years old. One reason I’d put off buying one is I wasn’t sure what size to order. My Bonobos pant size is 31 and my “every other store” size is 30, so I wasn’t sure if I needed to go to a 32 or 34.

Thankfully the 32 is perfect, and the belt is much higher quality than any I’ve ever had. I will be buying more.

The quality of this belt is nice. If you’re looking for more of a cognac color to match your dress shoes (Cole Haan, etc), the color is a little on the orange side versus the tan brown that the picture depicts.

This belt was purchased as a replacement for my husband. Not because the first one wore out or anything. Because he somehow managed to put it through the laundry. Anyway, the first one was purchased a few years ago and this new one looks just the same in color and quality.

The leather is thick but soft and carefully selected. Craftsmanship is also top notch. Even better is the customer service. At first, the belt is 3 inches longer than I needed. Once I told the seller about this, a second belt is made and shipped to me without any question asked.

Best leather belt I’ve ever seen, held and worn! It was made exactly as I requested in regards to length and holes. It really is a thick piece of leather and is still comfortable for daily use. The belt is developing a nice patina with use on my raw denim jeans.

Very high quality belt, incredible value. The maker was able to pick a piece of leather that had the thickness I wanted. Be aware that the Hermann Oak harness leather is rustic stuff. fairly coarse-grained, a good number of blemishes from the hard life of a steer, and a top grain that can show wrinkles and creases.

It’s not finery. But it’s a great belt for jeans, and one that will probably get better and more unique with time. FWIW, I found that some Obenauf’s leather preservative helps make the surface a bit more warm and buttery, and may help the belt weather the elements a bit better.

I purchased this belt because it is labeled as 100%synthetic materials and when I checked the tag on the belt it is actually real leather. I am completely against buying tortured animal skin and was very upset that this was incorrectly labeled and very misleading.

No belt is worth a poor sweet animal suffering and dying a scary death. They need to correct the description of the materials on this product so people can make an informed decision. I’m sending it back even though I already cut the tag off (before I read the label).

Very disappointing. I’ve been shopping at Gap and Old Navy for many years. Their clothes are usually high quality and their descriptions were honest–until now. The price seemed too good for real leather, but I’ve picked up amazing bargains from Old Navy before, so I trusted them and ordered this belt.

When it arrived, I was disappointed to see on the label that it’s actually synthetic leather. Every fake leather belt that I’ve owned has snapped at some inconvenient time, so I would never buy another one.

Please update the description to faux leather so nobody else buys this low quality imitation belt under false pretenses.

The belt is pretty thick and cushy. You can definitely tell the leather has had some kind of treatment. I used the size charge based on my husband’s pants size and he has to keep the belt on the last hole.

It’s also super stiff so the end sticks out and isn’t long enough to reach the next belt loop. This works since his old belt broke, but I’ll definitely be getting him a different one.

I thought the belt was awesome and it went excellent with my suit (and my groomsmen’s) for my wedding. The belt didn’t take any time to break in so it was very comfortable from the very beginning. Now that my wedding is over I wear the belt all of the time and I would highly recommend it to anyone else.

The only thing I would add is that I fell in between the sizes, so the small was too tight and the medium was slightly too long. Maybe shortening the range and adding another size might help some other customers.

I’ve been happy with this belt overall—durable, clean look, sharp color (purchased brandy). The fit is good, too. For reference, I’m a 32” waist in most pants and purchased the medium size. I’m able to buckle the belt on the fourth of five notches, so even if I put on some pounds in the coming years, this belt should go with me a good while.

The only problem is the buckle structure. Because it’s a flat edge instead of rounded, the buckle scrapes across the leather pretty badly when you’re pulling it tight. It doesn’t help that those scrapes end up on the part of the belt framed by the buckle for all to see.

If you’re wearing a shirt untucked, then it’s no big deal. Who’s gonna see? But if you want to wear this belt with your shirt tucked in, the chewed-up leather is pretty obvious. Overall, is this a big deal? No.

The structural integrity of the belt is great. I expect to have this for many years. But be aware that after only a few wears this becomes more of a casual belt.

I bought this belt for work because I go through so many belts working construction. Let me tell you, this belt is bad to the bone. It’s almost 5/16” thick. one big slab of leather. I was so impressed I thought I should write a review.

You won’t find another belt like this for under 100$. This belt will outlive me. If you’re looking for a nice thick leather belt this is the one. Goes awesome with western wear as well. Thanks Rogue.

I‘ve ordered a 34 inches belt…too small for me I cannot use it. Many people complaining about the small size of these belts. I cannot return it because the shipping costs will represent half the price of the belt…i will order two sizes more and I hope it’s not too long !.

I purchased this belt in brown to go with a Cole Haan cognac dress shoe. The shoe has a bit of a red undertone and I though the belt would coordinate based on online pictures. However, the brown has almost a gray undertone.

It will clash with warmer shades of brown. The belt is lined with a synthetic material that makes it very stiff. Reminds me of what I would have purchased when I was in my 20s and spending $25 for a belt at Target.

It didn’t lay nicely or pack well because of the stiffness. I expect it to crack prematurely because of this. I found a nicer version at JCrew and think this belt should be priced under $30 given the low quality.

This is a nice belt and a good value. Only negatives – it’s thick and quite stiff. Had expected the entire belt to be 100% real leather. It’s not! The lining is “Lined on Manmade Ooze Leather. ” Guess the Chinese translation needed some work.

Had to Google what in the heck is “Ooze Leather”? It’s OK, it’s a suede finish. All in all, the belt is fine.

I received a Bloomingdale’s gift card, and this belt was one of the items I selected. I thought I was ordering a black belt with a silver tone buckle per the online description/photo, but the buckle is a gold tone.

Also, the leather facing on the belt feels like a low quality wrinkly paper-like texture that is unevenly applied through the length of the belt. I’ll keep the belt because I didn’t actually pay for it myself and don’t want to be bothered with the hassle of making a return.

I wouldn’t buy it again though.

Well made and stylish that can be dressed up or down, although I would say it leans more formal and dressy. This is probably my 10th AE leather belt in multiple colors over the past several years, and although I had a couple that did not last long overall they seem to last years with minimal upkeep.

I believe this one will last a long time and looks great.

This belt paired well with my Allen Edmonds I purchased at the same time. Unfortunately, the belt was not in stock for the size I needed upon visiting the retail store. However, shipping was painless, perfect condition and arrived shortly after I ordered them (a few days max).

I wasn’t sure if I would keep the belt since I seem to strike out online but this item is a keeper. I ordered a size 34 since I normally wear a 30-32 waist size depending on the brand of pants). The design matches the detail of the shoe perfectly, as if they are paired for one another, which is more than I can say for most relationships that work out okay.

Been eying this belt for a while to go with my Walnut Strands and finally snagged one during the Anniversary Sale. I was expecting a nice bag/box with the belt (supposedly thats how it is shipped if purchased from Allen Edmonds directly) but mine came in a plastic zip lock bag with a Nordstrom sticker on it.

No big deal, belt was brand new and no scuffs etc. Plus AE offered to send me the cloth bag after speaking with a CSR. Belt is TRUE TO SIZE. Some reviews say that is small but this wasn’t the case. For example my actual waist is about 38 in; usually buy pants in a 36 because of the vanity sizing that goes on; bought the belt in a 38 and it fit perfect.

Also color is a bit off from the Walnut Strand but not very noticeable unless you are comparing side by side. When wearing its hard to tell.

It’s early to really review an item that I expect to last 5 years or more, but my initial impression is that it’s a substantial and stylish belt. Ive found it disappointing, the trend of belts without snaps for custom belt buckles.

That aside, I like this belt.

Really nice quality leather belt. Its thin ish leather but sturdy and pliable. I bought large and I am usually an xl but this was too big in the waist and just loose on the last hole. Fastened on the first hole and it slips off my waist completely.

A medium would have sufficed. So worth sizing down i reckon.

Sad face. Beautiful belts (ordered black and brown too) yet giving it. a 3/5 thanks to the sizing is too large for XXS. I wish it had more holes, that would’ve made me keep them but it is too large to wear around the waist with high jeans.
