Bought this tire to replace a 2 1/2 yr old tire that I ruined by hitting a piece of metal. pretty much matched the tread depth of the existing set perfectly ! These tires are awesome ! The tread is all weather and pretty beefy.

They handle great in the rain and snow and look awesome on my Ford Explorer. I love these tires and highly recommend! Will buy a new set of these when its time to replace all 4. Well worth the money.

I purchased a set of these for my 2011 Ford Edge Sport AWD to replace the Pirelli stock tires that had worn out. I was not happy with the Pirelli’s for Wisconsin weather and roads. I was looking at either these or the Hankook Ventus as I had good luck with those previously.

However, after speaking with several local dealers and Discount Tire I decided to go with the Falken Ziex S/TZ. They had 2/32nd more rubber and non-directional for better wear but also a lower speed rating than the Ventus but overall the price and and extra rubber was my deciding factor as well as reviews, tire design, and company reliability.

I have had these for over a month now and I am completely satisfied. These are a quiet, nice riding tire that is not directional weariong well and looks to be a nice all season tire. I use these strictly for non-winter months in Wisconsin so don’t forsee any issues.

You won’t be disappointed with these tires.

You definitely get what you pay for. The performance is not bad and it does good in the wet. They are not too noisy and good and and deep threads. However. there is a major flaw with this tires. They (from the factory) have hard spots in them and can not be balanced.

At 55 mph is fine but anything passed that, extreme vibration starts. Also (nothing to do with the tires) Walmart was not going to take them back because (and this is a nice one) they were already mounted on a rim.

i have always trusted cooper us made tires as I have had them on my other vehicles and no exception here I have the ht3 tires on my service work truck now for almost 5k miles. I do mobile mechanic and go to were the job is so tires are extremely important as my truck is heavy but not a 4 wheel drive as I occasionally go off pavement.

I have always trusted cooper tires for long time , but due to finances I had to run other tires I was not very happy with but got me by. The cooper reputation is what bought me back. I had found a great dealer whom I would recommend as its family owned and great caring service.

I was told about these ht3 tires and decided to give them a try and glad I did!!! they ride comfortable, quiet and do go great both off and on road, we get heavy downpours and the wet weather doesn’t seem to affect them.

going up a steep muddy driveway I had no issues. I have yet to find anything negative about these tires. there is no comparison to other tires I had. also the warranty i consider is much better.

This is my second full set of Cooper Discoverer LT tires. They offer good road handling on most highway surfaces. Off-road traction is almost as good, especially on wet roads. The tire design reduces noise so it is not noticeable while driving on or off surfaced roads.

With this tire, my Ram gets 20 to 21 mpg without towing and 18mpg towing. The only down side is that this LT tire lasts about 43,000 miles of normal driving on my Dodge Ram 2500. That’s about three years until they need replacement at a cost of about $300.

I have 4:10 it really gets on it with 265. They drive and stay going down the road well. My older wider taller worn bfg felt like alignment was off but it was t they woukd hit a bump the. Go that way with no hands.

The 17×9 they look real wide but contact patch is about 9 in hes wide. Wonder know id i. Could stretch a 245 might look even cooler. They hold a high diameter there about 3 and a bit. At 60psi instead tire shop put at 80.

They really shoulder up more flating out tread more.

2006 RWD ford explorer. Old tires were squirrly on a nice day. Only drove this vehicle on dry days. Thought I’d try a set of winter tires and bought 4 cooper true north. Whoa. Night and day better traction in wet and ice snow conditions.

It handles better than my 4wd yukon with these winter tires. 2 deg right now, snowing, ice everywhere and just got my kid to his game. Had to share. You want a set of phenomenal tires for these conditions, These are them.

I bought these tires and had them installed on the 27th of September and on the 2nd of October we got 40 cm of snow. This is probably the first time I’ve guessed right about installing my winter tires in a timely fashion.

I chose the Cooper tires based on experience with Discoverer M+S tires that I’d used on a Toyota FJ for over a decade. My new tires, Discoverer True North, are on a Subaru Outback. I’m impressed with the grip and control the tire offered in accelerating and stopping on ice and in deep snow.

They are also significantly quieter on dry pavement than all but a very expensive set of Bridgestone tires I had on a BMW I’d previously owned. My installer told me this was the only set of these tires he’d sold.

As for the performance of the tires. I was almost ready to sell the vehicle because the all season tires, with < 8k miles on them, performed so terribly on snow and ice (NE WI) that I thought I couldn't use just a front wheel drivev SUV.

These snow tires are remarkable. Since having them installed I’ve been through a 3 inch and a 6 inch snow fall and it’s just like driving my four wheel drive truck. The difference in throttle, brake and steering control is amazing.

Yes putting four new snow tires on isn’t cheap but it’s well worth it when you consider the cost of just one trip into a ditch or another vehicle.

I’m using this tent with a 2010 Subaru Forester, and it fits great. Some small gaps between the ‘boot’ material and the surface of the car, but by design it’s just not going to have a 100% seal there.

The ‘boot’ features a stretchy elastic part that encloses the rear of the vehicle, with a second ‘extra’ flap of material that lays just inside the stretchy part to help keep out bugs and rain. I’ve never had issues with bugs getting in, even having a light on inside the tent all evening.

I’ve used this for a little over a year now and it has never once rained (I live in West Texas), so I can’t speak to its ability to keep water out, but I *can* speak to its ability to withstand heavy winds, and it does that very well.

I typically only stake it out (and secure the straps to my car) and don’t use guy lines, and it’s been fine through plenty of high plains windy nights. Adding guy lines would certainly make it even more solid.

The zippers on the windows and doors work well and I’ve had no issues with them snagging or breaking. I currently put my portable toilet in the screen room. It’s plenty private, and this way I don’t have to leave my dogs to walk to the campground facilities.

I love the screen room feature for this reason. The height of this tent makes it feel very spacious. I love the skylights, and how much air flow you can get inside. I’m a woman, and I can put up this tent by myself in about 5 minutes.

I ditched the carry bag a long time ago, only because I needed to fit this tent in my cargo box on top of my car and the only way to do that was to take everything out of the bag and place items individually in the cargo box.

This works great for my needs. I would like to get a hard-wall camper someday, but honestly this thing is pretty dang nice for a tent. I needed something affordable that would be more comfortable after adding a second dog to my pack during the pandemic, and this fits the bill.

I love that I can utilize the back of my car as well as this tent– I currently have a mattress in the back of my car and use the tent area as ‘living space. ‘ I’m thrilled with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who can’t quite afford a camper but would like a bit more comfort than a regular tent.

Did a lot of SUV tent research. Found a few much cheaper tents but none appeared to be able to accommodate large/full-sized SUV’s like this tent. I’ve got a Suburban and it was so nice and cozy having the rear connected.

Plus the side screen porch along with the extra rain cover added extra insulation from the late evening/early morning chill. The overall construction of the tent (material, sewing, poles, straps, clips, stakes, etc) are legit.

Only time will tell if everything holds up to justify the price tag (which is definitely not cheap). But after one 3-day camping trip (with a 7 month ago btw) I’m very impressed and pleased with the product.

This rating is given by a novice tenter. Pros: The tent is lightweight and the carrier is made out of the same material as the tent. When you re-package it to fit back into the carrier I rolled over it with my body to squeeze the air out of it.

I’m sure this is common with any tent. This particular tent is 9’X9′ but it takes up more space by the time you set the stakes at each corner. We stayed adjacent to our friends’ camper so we weren’t able to attach the tent to our SUV due to the limited space we had but the tent was easy to set up without using the SUV side.

We didn’t have any substancial amount of rain (sprinkles only) so I can’t comment on how well it will hold up in a true rain. Cons: This is the design flaw. It was very disappointing the two windows not part of the SUV and door openings didn’t have an inner plastic to zip closed to help keep some of the colder night temps from coming in the tent.

I found that very odd and disappointing because it seems it would be standard to have that. This is why I only rated the tent with a 3. Other than that the tent held up to my expectations. Unfortunately, I would not buy it again or recommend to a friend since it did not have windows that could zippered to close.

I set this tent up in the yard to test set up. Because of the 3 criss cross shock pole design, your friend will come in pretty handy, as the bowing poles set the tension to keep it up and tight. The side access sleeve port to your vehicle on the right hand side is impressively large, plus it will separately close off if you want to drive away, the tent will remain.

I will stretch this sleeve side open over two passenger side suicide doors on my 2003 Silverado and it fits fine. I recommend you do a test set up and don’t wait until you are “out there” to learn. Everything comes in a carrying bag for each component and all fits into one main bag with handles.

Don’t misplace your setup directions. You’ll do fine on this. It’s pretty big with a 100 square footprint and over 7 1/2 feet high inside. Really big screened windows and seems well stitched everywhere.

The floor is large enough to host a card table and 4 chairs easily. It has a separate rain cover, removable when dry weather permits.

I searched for a fair price on a Napier truck tent for several weeks. I typed in “used” ans scored this from a dude in Georgia,who only used it ONCE,and then sold his avalanche. This is the roughest riding tire I’ve ever had the displeasure of driving on. My Subaru slams over every bump and crack in the road. Pavement patches feel like the car is going to break in half. The car has new OEM struts and new rubber isolator bushings.

It’s the tires! I run 32psi. The only good/bad thing is they are so hard that they lasted 60000 miles. I took my last ride in them today. Buy anything else!.

These all season tires are used by me on a BMW X5 2013. I use them year round. While I would not trust them in deep snow, they are fine on cleared winter roads. These tires have excellent ride quality.

The downside may be future availability. They come from Nokian’s plant in Russia, which I understand is no longer exporting tires after the Ukranian invasion. The price on WalMart seems to vary greatly day to day.

I have had these on my Q5 for 2 weeks now, only 300 miles so far ( I did just get home from a 3400 mile road trip so. ). I was very familiar with the Nokian brand for their Winter /Extreme Snow tires while living in Rochester NY (snow belt ).

This was my first chance to try their new All Season tires. They replaced the OEM Goodyear Eagle LS-2s that barely made it to 31k. while I had no disappointment with the OEM Goodyears I live on the West Coast of FL.

where rain is the summer problem instead of snow in the winter. The Goodyears were great in the rain so the replacements needed to be at least as good. Reading about the Z-Lines it sounded like I found the new tire but I couldnt find a review that sounded like it came from someone that was a Tire Geek.

Ive always used Winter tires as I was a Volunteer FireFighter and a SCCA Winter Road Rally participant. Thats where I became familiar with Nokian. So far Im very happy with their dry road traction and grip.

Braking is just as good as the Goodyears. I am waiting to do some wet road testing soon now that the rain is back on here in the afternoons. I just have to play with tire pressures to find their Happy Spot.

Our car did not come with Michelin tires which I wanted to rectify, since I have used and trusted them on previous vehicles, so I decided to change to Michelin – the CrossClimate SUV tires. I could tell the difference in performance immediately, they work great in snow or in dry conditions.

They work so well I bought my daughter Michelins for her car too! This gives us year round safety.

Great wet/dry handling and braking. Good on snow and ice here in the mountains of NC. Absolutely pathetic wear. After 22 months and 25k miles they are almost gone. Less than 2/32 left. Rotated every 6k.

In the process of filing a warranty claim. If Michelin will give me proper warranty credit I will try the CrossClimate2 next. If they don’t stand by their product I’ll change my rating to 0 stars. Like I said great tire while they lasted.

I purchased these for my Mercedes GL 450 SUV. These tires are feel great, are quite and look attractive. The reason I choose the Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Plus because of the way the tires rubber-to-void ratio is optimized.

It ensures even tread wear without having to constantly be getting a alignment (unless really needed). It also uses a uniform contact patch where circumferential grooves help the tire in getting rid of the water so that it doesn’t affect its handling.

There are also lateral and longitudinal sipes that add biting edges for reliable winter driving. These tires handling capabilities on all types of terrain are next level for an SUV. They are comfortable and quiet and have a 65k mile warranty.

First I will start with the not amazed part. The tires are stated as 37″ (36. 6) I believe to be exact. I replaced my Federal Couragia Mud 37’s (36. 8) with these new falken ones. My federals were worn about 70%, but still had life, the wife just wanted we to swap them out.

Well at full tread the federals ran with my tune setup, and tire aize adjusted said 36. 5 I believe. Mind you that’s new. Speed forward to 70% worn, and ive now adjusted the tire size in the tune to 35.

5 to adjust speed correctly. Now swapping out the for the Falken Wildpeaks, and you would think a tire size for the tune would be 36. 5, or maybe even 36. 25, but it’s not. 4 adjustments later I am at 35″ even.

That’s a half inch under the used 37’s I just had on. It made no sense, and my mind was boggled. Mind you the tires are all aired the same, and no differences besides brand of tire and a (. 20) difference in tire size.

Was a bit disappointing, and not happy, but we will see if I buy these again or not. On to the great stuff though. The tires run soooo smooth its amazing. I pulled out of the parking lot, and that was the first thing I noticed right off.

Outstanding on road feel. Also another great thing to note is that these come with a 55,000 tread warranty. You really can’t beat that almost anywhere. Very impressed with that also. The install was a bit of a hastle.

I had ordered these on Walmart website, which by the way is better than doing it in store. I did this for a better price, and to set up an install date. Well the install date was coming up, and only 3 of the 4 tires were delivered.

I called Walmart help line, and was told by the gentleman on the phone that the last tire was only 40 minutes away, and that is will be there tomorrow for the install date. Well install date came, and no 4th tire.

You can’t install only 3 new tires, so I had to call the Walmart Auto Center and have them cancel my install appointment. Was not thrilled, and has to wait two extra days tell the 4th tire was finally delivered.

Was able to go in after work to get this finalized, but definitely was a big hassle. Depending on if I purchase tires through Walmart again, I might just pick them up to be installed elsewhere, but we will see.

As an all around tire, it shouldn’t be expected to do everything perfectly. But some say it’s the best in its class, and I’m pleased with it. I feel confident off road. Occasional highway use is fine too— there is less noise than I expected.

But if I used my Jeep as a daily driver instead of a weekend joy toy, I would have left the Michelin LTX Defenders on. They are smoother, quieter, and the better road tire. I should note that I got these Falkens as part of a 5 wheel package on this site, and they came mounted and balanced from the MO warehouse.

I won’t do that again. They were so badly balanced that my wife though there was something seriously wrong with the car. Several had to be remounted and all had to be rebalanced locally to be useable.

Immediately noticed greater stability, a softer and smoother ride and increased traction after replacing the worn all terrains of a brand I can’t recall. Only instant dislike is that they are a little louder.

These tires were installed on a 2002 Ford Excursion 7. 3 diesel with 18″ wheels on 2006 Super Duty axles, steering and suspension using Icon 2. 5″ coils in front and 5″ Pro Comp leaves without blocks in the rear.

The front tires rub slightly when turning, but only on non-level terrain. We used bungee cords to retract the wheel wells so they no longer rub. We have towed with these tires and have had no issues.

The improvement in ride quality has been surprising. The tread is deeper and more aggressive in person than they seem in photos. Our local shops said these tires were unavailable in the U. S. but we found them from Walmart for a better price than Amazon and they were delivered in a few days.

Delivery left them piled in the middle of our driveway and it would have been great had they been stacked, leaned, or at least put to the side. Purcell charged us about $30 to mount and balance each tire.

They did not tell us how many ounces any of the tires required but so far they have been perfectly smooth even at interstate passing speeds of over 80 mph. The tread wear warranty is 60,000 miles and it is hard to imagine such a soft, smooth riding tire could last that long under a heavy truck.

So far, these are our favorite farm truck tires and we would buy them again over Yokohama Geolandar A/Ts, Cooper Discoverer AT3, Pro Comp All Terrains, Toyo A/Ts, Toyo M/Ts, Goodyear and BFG All Terrains.

These tires are great from first impressions. They look rugged, sharp clean lines, deep tread, and they have a nice gripping surface on the outer sidewalks. When properly inflated, they ride smoothly and quietly.

The Nexen Roadian AT tires that I had installed are size 265 65 r18 and are installed on a 2017 GMC Sierra. On dry pavement (again when properly inflated) they track well and feel really solid. The 5 stars are based solely on the tire, not the service.

I spent about 2 hours having them installed which was about what I expected having had tires installed at Walmart numerous times. When I paid for the service the tire light was on. The tech said it would automatically turn off after the system recognized that the tires were properly inflated.

I drove about 30 miles to a job site and the truck was drifting terribly and felt a bit unstable. The tire pressure light was also still on so I drove to a gas station to check the tire pressure. All four tires were over the factory recommended tire pressure by at least 10 lbs.

and in one case 15 lbs. I headed back to Walmart after adjusting the air pressure to the recommended level because the tire light was still on. One tire was reading zero on my maintenance display screen and the service manager said my tire pressure sensor must have just gone bad.

He said he could install a new one for $28. 00 and another hour of my time if I wanted to wait. I informed him that it worked just fine when the truck entered the through the bay door and that it did not when it exited.

He knew where this conversation was getting ready to go so he offered to just take care of it. I would absolutely recommend these tires, but would also recommend taking them to a professional shopbto have them installed.

I only have about 200 miles on these tires, so I’d like to re-review or update this review at a later date when I’m almost done with this set. I bought these on the suggestion of a truck driver, who said they were decent quality for the price.

I would argue that I still paid way too much for them, but that seems to be the pattern for everything since the whole COVID fiasco. However, I just had these put on when the winter storm came to Texas.

These tires kept me on the road, were dependable, and came through for me. They were good on the 2-3″ of ice we had and then they were excellent on the 3-4″ of fresh snow. They are perfect tires for the caliche county roads where I live.

when the roads are dry. I will agree with other reviews that say that this tire is not the absolute best in mud (yes, I know they are not mud tires, but I do expect SOME traction in shallow mud with all-terrains).

If your roads get muddy frequently, you may want to steer clear of this tire. Otherwise, I think it has excellent traction on gravel, wet roads, and ice. It is not the most quiet AT tire on the highway, but also not uncomfortably loud.

Again, I cannot speak to longevity or quality in the long run, but I hope to do so at a later date. Overall, I’d recommend this tire if you can get a good deal on it.

Bought for Ford Expedition. Road sound was why better than stock tires and a softer ride. Been on these tires for 3 years. Drove from Orlando to Colorado to Minnesota. Smooth. No problems in rain, snow, even in gravel and mud.

I’ll be buying another set. Still have stock tires sitting in my garage and not interested in putting them back on the truck. These tires are legit for the money!.

My car came with Bridgeston Ecopia tires. They were horrible on snowy, slushy or wet roads since new and are down to the wear bars at 16,000 miles. As you can imagine, I’m eager to get these tires installed after reading every review I could find.

All weather tires make so much sense here in Pennsylvania.

Used them in wet snow so far and they worked great! I’m used to all terrains on my 4×4 Toyota over the years but never had tires like these. Mounted on 2015 Ford Edge all wheel drive. So far they are great in rain and wet snow.

I would buy again.

I only buy Nokian Tyres for all our our family cars. The WR G4’s are great, and I highly recommend them. I bought this set for my daughter, but waited six days from morning of order for delivery. That cost her $182 in additional loaner car fees.

Will shop somewhere else next time.

I have a 2017 RAM 3500 single rear wheel truck. The first set that I put on back in 2018 were great, got 36000 miles out of them. Put another set on in Oct. 2020, @ 53660 miles, could not get them balanced (I’m a Technician at a Chrysler dealership.

) I tried road force balancing, rotating, No luck. Contacted our tire distributor they sent another set put them on 11/2020 @ 55269 miles. (Both sets had the same DOT date code, 3520) This set not much better, I even took Tires and wheels to another tire store and had them balance them just in case that it was our balancer, but this didn’t help much.

I rotate and balance my tires every 3000 miles. Every time I balance them, they do a little better for a couple hundred miles then go back to vibrating again. they do fine below 60mph but 60-70 it gets pretty bad, sometimes worse than others.

These tires only have 25000 miles and are probably only going to make it another 5000 or so. Probably going to a different brand next time.

This is NOT an A/T tire at all. Its a highway tire at best, and not a very good one. Wet grass is all it takes to stop this tire. Its crap in any kind of dirt to include dirt roads. It SUCKS in the rain, it will hydroplane very easy.

Snow traction is almost not existent at all. Its only redeeming quality is it lasts a while. But honestly its so bad at everything else I am not sure that’s a good thing! These came stock on my current truck and my last truck.

And as usual after spending 80K+ on a new truck I have to replace these crap tires it came with. I tried to give them a chance, but after 3k I cant wait to get them off this truck. These things suck so bad in the wet that even with my 5thwheel hooked up I have to be very gentle on the throttle taking off or I will spin the rear tires.

And I have to really watch my speed or the trailer is going to push me around. Anything over 55mph and I am risking losing control. We just did a 600 mile trip in the rain towing a 11,500lb 5thwheel and these tires were sketchy at best! They don’t even ride decent! I am a Michelin fan, I run them on my motorcycle, my trailers, and my semis.

I have run them on my cars in the past as well. But this tire, this tire SUCKS! Michelin should be ashamed of them self for making this pile of crap!.

I bought a brand new set of 4 Defender LTX last Saturday. Tire pressures stayed stable for 5 days then the tire pressure light went on for the rear driver’s side with a PSI of only 17 so I took my wife car to work.

I came home it was completely flat. Tried Michelin’s 3 year roadside assistance but got hung up on several time before I got an operator that I could barely understand and stated that I didn’t have a policy.

Plus, I got forwarded all over the place. I gave up and changed it out with my spare. I thought I must have run over a nail but can find anything in the tread and tire looks great. The company I bought it from isn’t all that motivated to help but trying them again tomorrow.

The representative from Michelin, the only one that I could understand keeps telling me to deal with the dealer that I bought them from. So currently I’m stuck with 3 good tires, a cruddy spare, and a new tire that won’t hold pressure and nobody that wants to help me.

So much for this great Michelin warranty and guarantee.

My car was making a horrible noise going down the road. My husband checked everything, from ball joints, wheel bearing, struts and all in between. We decided to change tires. The ones that were on there were just a year old.

We purchased these Atturo AZ800 tires. So glad we did. It took care of the noise and rides and drives like a new car. These tires are great. I highly recommend them.

I have only owned Atturo winter tires, which I was impressed with. The winter tires swayed me to give the all season tires a shot. I am very pleased thus far with them. They are definitely quieter than the Michelin Pilot’s that they replaced.

The wet handling is also much better. Given these are 40% less, they’re a bargain in my mind. I only wonder how the tread will wear.

Extremely dissatisfied. I bought 2 sets for my dually trucks. These tires have worn out with less than 25k on them. Both sets have had issues with tread peeling off and wear is excessive for a highway tire.

This was my 3rd and final experience with a Cooper product and I will not buy another product from them. I gave them a one because there is not a zero.

Tires came on 2020 GLE450, put 7,352 KM first year, changed them out for the winter, put them back on in April, rotated them in August after a further 4,000 Km due to a three week trip west. Put another 10,500 kms.

And when I removed them on November 12th found that the rear two tires were worn out, right rear the worst. Had MB do a 4 wheel alignment which was not outside of tolerance’s. Looking for new tires now!.

I have less than a hundred miles on these tire in a staggered arrangement and they do everything described in the description. My Mercedes SLK 320 Sport has been reborn and once again drives like it did new in 2002.

Did I mention the car was drifting to the right and the technicians at my Mercedes dealer had no solution. I figured if it were not a suspension problem than that left the tires. Once I replaced all four the problem disappeared.

I choose this brand and type because Mercedes recommend it as one of four brands.

Great price for a great set of tires. Very quiet compared to the last set of Goodyear Eagles we had. Service was spot on. I arrived at the appointment time, the car went right in and was done before promised.

I bought a set of these for my BMW X3 in the fall. I only drove on them for a month before changing out to my winter tires. The grip and ride comfort seems good so far. After I put these back on in the spring, I noticed how much noisier they are compared to my winter tires.

Nowadays, this low drone noise is all I notice and I can’t wait to wear these out so that I can get quieter tires and enjoy the quietness of the cabin of my car again.

I bought 4 of the Cross Climate 2 tires from Costco in October of 2020. They are superior on wet, icy snowy roads. In the past I have hydroplaned on other tires and on these, I don’t. I have a very difficult time getting the tires to break loose in snowy icy Roads ( I’ve tried!) get them rotated every 5-6000 miles because I drive A LOT.

I put 5000 miles on in February-march of this year on a road trip to the South. I have had 2 flat tires due to nails etc that they were able to repair. But 3 weeks ago I had a flat driving into work.

I changed the tie for the donut spare and called Costco to get in to repair it. When they saw it the next day they said I blew the tire and would need a new one. But they are having trouble ordering it Because of supply problems from Michelin? and they are trying to get the tire from another store.

It has now been 3 weeks and I finally broke down and bought a full size rim and spare because I need a car to get to work. I am a single, 59 year old woman who has only one car, and I need it to be drivable.

Hopefully you can start getting a supply chain going with Costco again so I can get my warranty replacement tire.

I got these tires for my Tesla Model 3 AWD to replace the stock Michelin Primacy tires. The first thing I noticed is that they make a bit more noise (something you notice in an EV). The wet weather performance has been pretty good, however, which is part of the reason I got them.

I drive on a lot of steep hills with curves, so having a tire with decent cold weather performance for freezing temperatures was key for me. I recently had the chance to try the tires on roads that have seen actual snow and I thought they did pretty well.

Got stuck on a steep incline covered in ice when I had to stop for traffic, but did not slide backwards and after switching to Slip Start, I was able to make my way up. There was a little lateral slip on ice bumps, but I never felt out of control.

Although brand new, I can’t help but be impressed. These replaced a set of Vredestein QUATRAC 5’s, and the difference couldn’t be more stark. I was alarmed at how squishy and wander lustful they were for the 1st 200km, they didn’t care for hard cornering.

exhibited harmonic distortion at cruising speed (120km/h) and in the end, didn’t last that long. On these so far however, noise is nearly non existent, a unicorn rarity for snow rated tires (mine is a sensory deprivation chamber of a car, even the engine noise is an artificially piped in soundtrack).

The handling even at the edge has been superb, the high speed stability rock solid having just driven for several kilometers at 160 Km/h (@ 100MPH) without any drama, and speaking of drama, we just had the 1st wet slushy snow of the year, which also included a drama free panic stop, and they performed admirably and securely.

Even if these were to suck in deep snow, I’m still extremely happy with the choice. I had picked the Vredestein’s because a) they were one of the only All Weather choices I had for my car 2 yrs ago, and b) they were, I thought, a good “value”.

These are hands down, a much better no compromise choice.
