20 Best Learning Tablet For Toddlers (2023 Updated)

I just got my 64GB Space Gray from Walmart for $459 and I have to say I freaking love this little tablet! I am actually downgrading from the 11″ iPad Pro to the Mini as I now have a 16″ MBP, w/ it’s gigantic screen, and really just use my tablet for reading the news and watching YouTube in the recliner or in bed (for which a smaller/lighter tablet is far more comfortable).

Here is my take away so far: 1. The jelly scroll is a thing (particularly if you go looking for it) but only while scrolling in portrait mode. It makes blocks of text lag behind a little bit giving paragraphs a slightly angular look while scrolling.

It’s not as smooth and pretty as the 120Hz scrolling on the iPad Pro, but given that I am not actively reading text while scrolling pages up/down, and that thankfully I happen to read 95% of my content in landscape mode, I can let it slide given all the other benefits of the small form factor.

I am now waiting on a replacement order for the 256GB model and will be exchanging because, try as I may to slim down the bloat to “the essentials”, 64GB is not going to get it done for me lol.

I work at sea and will use the iPad for watching saved YouTube/Disney /NetFlix episodes and Apple Music (as we do not have internet when any from land on my ship). I could not even get my existing load out of music and apps to fit comfortably before trying to download any video content.

128GB for entry level model would be ideal (Like my iPhone 13 Pro) and Apple knows that. So gonna cough up the extra $150 after all for what I’m sure will be “too much space” haha. Oh well, can’t upgrade it later I suppose.

3. The new Mini is plenty powerful, has a beautiful and bright screen for a Non-Pro model, lightweight in the hands, semi-pocketable, supports Apple Pencil 2 wonderfully and seems to provide similar battery life to the full size iPad models and comparatively good quality and loud enough stereo audio as well (Still better than iPhone 13 Pro).

Also, the CenterStage FaceTime camera provides excellent HD video quality and automatic tracking like the iPad Pro which is even better than using your iPhone. The 3:2 aspect ratio of the new Mini (as opposed to 4:3 from last ten and most other iPad lines) makes for a wider display which means narrower black bars top and bottom on 16:9 content.

So basically, even though this screen is technically ~3″, or 25%, smaller than the iPad Air/Pro 11 it certainly does not feel that much smaller. A very clever space optimization very akin to what Apple did shoving the System menu up and out of the way into the notch bar on the new 14″ and 16″ MacBook Pros.

Aside from my first 2 nitpicks above, overall I am quite pleased with the Mini and, though it surely is not the best bang for your buck (Regular iPad has got to be the best value for many and iPad Air.

I wanted to use this a few weeks before reviewing, just so the cute factor would wear off a bit and I could give a more practical review. If you are on the fence about the Mini vs. a larger iPad, make your decision on the intended use.

If it’s for school or work, go bigger for sure. The Mini is a personal use device, very nice for media consumption, as a reader, journaling, communication, casual gaming etc. Pretty much perfect for all of that, but as I bought the pencil as well, I’ve discovered screen real estate is lacking for things such as document annotation, larger drawings, etc.

The size is smaller than the previous Mini (but the screen is a bit larger). That being said, this will never be a one handed device. The tighter bezels make one handed holding a bit less comfortable than my old Mini, and I still have to prop it or my arm up to use while reclining.

However it beats anything bigger for this type of use, so my complaints are minor. Performance is great, and as it’s the latest chip, it will have a little more software upgrade life, something that should be a consideration in any Apple product purchase.

A few more observations: -Battery life is just fine. Depends on use anyway. -iOS 15 makes split screen use much easier. -The cameras are quite good for this device. The rear camera is fine in a pinch, with the added bonus of being able to edit it right on the device.

The front camera is very good and brings another dimension to the device for FaceTime, Zoom calls etc. -Home Screen customization with widgets is adequate, but not as interactive as I would like. -64 gig size is ok unless you download stuff.

If that’s the case you pretty much have to pony up for the 264, which kind of spoils the price point for this device. Kind of shady by Apple and they probably could have sold a gazillion more of these with 128 gig in the base model.

Finally, the Apple Pencil is a nice accessory (as long as it fits the budget), even for casual use. Writing and drawing is lifelike and the tool set works really nice. A matte screen protector will be necessary for anything more than casual use though as the bare screen is too slick for precise use.

I really didn’t need it to be honest, but I’ve happily discovered it to be really nice for taking quick notes, journaling, even normal touch screen use such as scrolling and tapping rather than using my finger.

No regrets on this purchase.

Context: I bought an iPad mini because I wanted to read more books, news, and long articles on a device that did not distract me constantly with notifications and social media like my phone does. So far, it has served that purpose very well.

I did not download any social media apps to my iPad, and I do not have access to my work email on it either. I probably use it 75% of the time for reading articles and news, as well as. epub and. pdf books with the Apple Books app, and 25% of the time for streaming sports and TV.

The battery life is good but not amazing. If I have many browser tabs open and/or am streaming video, the battery lasts maybe 3/4 of a full day of use at max brightness. I say max brightness because the screen is not super bright; in a bright room or in sunlight I usually wish I could make the screen “10% brighter”.

The speakers are great and get pretty loud. The iPad mini has been a great investment for reading. Outside of work and higher ed, I had not been reading very much in the past few years–maybe an hour a day of books, articles, news combined–before purchasing my iPad mini.

Now I read for anywhere from 2-5 hours per day. The iPad mini is the perfect size to mimic a page of a book. Also because I do not have any social media on it and turned off most notifications, I can read for long periods of time without getting distracted like I do when using my phone (which has work email, and multiple messaging and social media apps which constantly ping and distract me).

The 64gb size is fine for my use patterns. I only download books to my iPad so I don’t require the storage space someone downloading tons of tv and movies would require. I don’t own an Apple Pencil and do not to do any “handwriting” with my iPad mini.

I assume the screen would be a little small for handwriting notes anyway. My only gripes are minor: I wish the iPad used Face ID, had better battery life, and a brighter screen. Apart from that, it’s been a great investment and I recommend one to anyone who wants a device for reading, high quality viewing (2266-by-1488), and great portability.

I absolutely LOVE this iPad! I only paid $359+ tax! I got it when the new iPad Air came out in September. It is now mid-October, so I have been using & loving the device for about 6 weeks! When I purchased the device, it was part of a sale on the mini for $399 from $499.

I then got an additional $40 off because I chose the “renewed” version, for the total price of $359! It came in the exact same apple box with all components. The iPad is perfect! No scratches, easy to hold, fast, light, and portable.

I love that it use USB-C like the iPad Pros and most other devices these days. I would not pay $499 (the typical asking price) for this product. For $399 or less, it is a fantastic deal! It is definitely a niche product for people who want a smaller device.

I love it for streaming, email, reading, and general internet browsing. (TIP! Whenever new apple products come out or if there is a holiday sale, the prices of their products drop DRAMATICALLY! I only buy iPads/laptops on sale.

These sales are extremely consistent and predictable. ) I used to have the iPad mini 4, but by 2022 it was too slow to do any meaningful browsing. I much prefer browsing on my iPad mini 6 vs. my iPhone 13 or my MacBook Air.

It is light, fits my hands well, is enough screen to stream and read, and the browsing is FAST! I highly recommend this device to anyone looking for an additional iPad for recreational purposes. Something to note is that the finger scanner button is on the top right of the device and the volume buttons are on the top left of the device.

I will note that I also have a regular ipad 9th generation that I use with a folio keyboard case that was provided by the school I work at. I teach special education. I could not do any lesson planning or “work” on my iPad mini.

I consider my mini strictly a recreational device. Someone with larger hands or who prefer a larger screen may prefer the cheaper 9th generation iPad which starts at $329 as their daily device (eg. My dad), or if you need something faster and lighter with more technological features, the new iPad Air which starts at $699, might be for you (eg.

Student, software engineer, trader, architect). I will also note that I am impressed with how well the regular ipad 9th generation has held up with rigorous daily use for my work. This LeapFrog -My First Learning Tablet- is the cutest play tablet! It has three different settings, plays songs, and reads. The buttons light up and when I say light up, I mean they are vibrant and bright.

The sounds are clear and this is a great learning tool for your child to feel like mom and dad. You can adjust the volume on the side and unlike a lot of other toys, this volume isnt too loud. My son has really enjoyed playing with this tablet, learning his numbers, colors, and animals.

Its easy for him to hold, it doesnt weigh very much, and can be easily wiped down after his sticky fingers touch it. I would recommend this toy to anyone that is looking for a fun tablet for their toddler.

My daughter loves playing with this First Learning Tablet! It has bright lights, fun sounds and provides a great learning experience. Easy for little fingers to press the app and icon buttons, fits perfectly in her hands.

This is the best tablet I bought. I purchased the previous models for grandkids and when my Grandsons previous version wasn’t turning on I decided to buy this version. I wasn’t sure what the difference was but now that we got it and set it up I can see what the fuss is all about on the Pro model.

so my son has autism and adhd and sensory etc and he broke the other tablet he had. so I rushed to buy a new one. so I bought this one he loves it. and what is really cool about it is it works outside.

with games or other things they save that are like the offline game or entertainment. and I can also hook it up to my Hotspot. I also was able to put the Netflix and Disney on the tablet and it’s really last long time the charge.

and it comes with the cover and it’s very good tablet. the only thing is that the space goes fast. so I got a memory card for the tablet that was for this one and thar why he has so much more than on his tablet so I would suggest get the tablet and a memory card for it.

and also I would get if you have a special needs child or a child that throw everything the tablet also I would get a cover for the tablet on the glass part. just to be on the safe side. but if they don’t throw it then you be fine.

Purchased for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas, snagged it on Black Friday and did not have to pay the pricey price you would originally find this item for -(keep this in mind) she has been wanting her own tablet and this was a great deal and seemed to be the most durable, kid friendly, with enough space and storage to download all the games she wants with a cute design on the back in a nice deep purple color.

My son and I absolutely love the V-Tech Paw Patrol The Movie Learning Tablet. I love that there is numerous different things he can choose to play and each game he chooses teaches him something different such as addition, patterns, it teaches him the different types of weather, as well as his letters.

He loves the fact that there is different clock faces he can choose from like a picture of sky or ryder or a cuckoo clock or digital clock. He can even set an alarm on it for whatever time he needs to be reminded to do his chore or he can set it to alarm when his time is up for playing with it.

Its very neat and it definately has him more interested in learning those things as well as keeping him more focused on the task/game since each one is different and it helps alot to that its Paw Patrol.

I think its a great learning tool for small children that allows the characters they love to teach them things. I highly recommend this product.

The Paw Patrol learning tablet has been a hit with my three year old. It’s super simple for her to operate. The buttons are soft and large which make it easier for her to navigate. The six games are age appropriate for 3-6 year olds and touch on letters, typing skills, simple +/-, matching, shapes, and even weather.

I appreciate the parent settings that allow for volume control and clock settings. It also seems very durable. One drawback, though, is the screen seems a bit small. It would be nice to have a larger screen considering the size of the product.

My grandkids are really enjoying this Paw Patrol learning tablet. It is very well made and easy to operate. I appreciate the volume control and the large buttons make it easy for the little ones. There are several different games.

Some are geared more for younger kids, like letter and word recognition and some are for older children, like math and spelling. I love that this toy grows with your child and can help them learn for years.

The fire tablet itself is great. I think it runs well isn’t glitchy and the functionality is pretty easy to figure out. It works like any other tablet with apps and such. I will say the screen is pretty small if you’re wanting watch something on it through.

For the kids part of this tablet, I do think the case is amazing. The stand works well and the case is very durable and giving for any impact. Talking about the Parent controls is a different story. I do like how difficult it seems to be for a kid to even find the “switch profile” option, I just don’t like the parent controls.

There’s no option to remove all apps, or all books, etc. So if I want to be able to fully control what my kid sees, I have to manually go in and remove EVERY SINGLE thing. That’s a ton of work. Only then could I go in and allow only the books, apps, etc.

that I want my kid to read/see. This is a really annoying feature. Parent’s should have FULL control, instead, by default, everything is shown and you have to remove everything. The controls should be the opposite where I can only select the things I want my kid to see.

If you want full control as a parent, this is not the app for you. If you don’t care what your kids are reading or listening too, than this is a great tablet with a great case. I guess it just depends on your style of parenting.

I got this for my daughter a little over a week ago and she really enjoys playing on it. There is so much to do from playing games to watching videos and clips of her favorite shows and it came with a year of amazon kids plus which was absolutely wonderful in my opinion because it keeps her busy.

It was easy to set up and login with our personal account. I love the case the quality of the case is super great as I bought this for my six year old daughter she has a tendency to drop them from time to time and this one is holding up just great.

This is my first experience with OSMO and certainly won’t be my last. In today’s world it is virtually impossible for children to stay away from technology based learning. With the OSMO system of learning you combine hands on with technology giving kids the experience of both worlds.

The Genious system must be used with an iPad not included. There are 5 games or apps included. Each engage your child in a learning experience that is both interactive and educational. What’s so cool is they learn without really knowing they’re being taught because they’re having fun.

There are number tiles, tangram pieces, and word tiles. All used within the apps for educational learning. My 5yr old grandson loves the tangrum pieces. He’s grasping geometry without even realizing it yet.

He sat and played for an hour totally immersed. The set is well worth the investment and I’m already planning to add a new OSMO addition for Christmas.

I had my eye on this Osmo system for awhile but never purchased it. After my son started using this during his Kindergarten year at school and being able to watch him using it, I was sold. Both my 5 and 6 year old love using Osmo.

Each child has their own profile and they are able to set levels based on knowledge and gradually advance as they complete skills. They really love each different app but their favorite has to be Tangram.

There are even lesson plans posted in the Osmo Community from teachers and community members that show you what types of different things you can do with Osmo. It comes with an expandable base so that even as the technology expands and iPads change size you can still use the Osmo base.

There is also storage for all the little pieces which is great, however the storage tops are a little hard to open. We end up spilling pieces all over the place every time we have to try to pry one open.

I’m sure they’ll loosen up over time with opening and closing. Overall, this learning tool is absolutely amazing and a great buy!.

Great learning tablet with many different learning games and settings. Although my little one is too small to understand the games at this time he loves pressing the letters and hearing the sounds the the letters make and seeing the pictures.

If your kiddo is a PJ Mask fan than you need this, it has the characters voices and theme song as well. This tablet offers various modes of learning play including rhyming and matching. The on screen visuals are very nicely done showing words and corresponding pictures.

My older daughters (8 years old) only complaint, “why doesn’t the little screen light up?” This is an amazing letter learning tablet because of the variety of learning games it offers. My son was so excited to get the pj mask learning tablet. He loves the show! He plays with this tablet everyday. He brings it with us in the car everyday as we drop off and pick up his siblings from school.

I think it’s over priced for what it is. There are so many educational apps out there that don’t cost this much. This one has interactive playing pieces but they’re some plastic or wooden pieces. A plastic base to hold your iPad.

And a plastic piece with a mirror that sits on your camera to reflect down. This cost nothing to make. Not worth the cost it’s charging you. So there are 5 games I think. My 5 yr old kid does like them.

So that’s good. But if you wanna buy any more games you’ll spend a whole lot more again. Personally we get a lot more out of abc mouse and homer app. We pay a much smaller monthly or annual fee for those.

We can take them on the go without any pieces. And those allow al my kids of different ages to play their own level for the same price on one account. So I would suggest those over Osmo. You get much more bang for your buck and it can be used for all ages anywhere you are.

This is my first experience with Osmo brand products and I can say that I am happy with the product if not super impressed. Here is my review of the product: 1. The thing which works well is that it has lot of activities which can keep kids interested for hours.

My daughter liked it very much and she devoted few hours on day 1. I think this will keep her engaged for days to come. 2. I especially liked the Tangram as well as Creative engineering activity. These are very different than what other products offer and kinda differentiator for me.

3. The integration with tablet is seamless and I faced no issues. 4. The mathematics module is OK and is on expected lines. I didn’t find that very different than others. 5. There are couple of other things also like words and masterpiece which we are yet to explore but they seems to be interesting.

6. Only thing which kind of dis-appointed me is that this product is sort of less stimulating or for sake of better word, challenging to older kids who are around 9-10 years old. Now a days, kids are so much exposed to new things in classrooms that they always ask for more challenges to keep them engaged.

But having said that it’s good product for anyone 8 years old and less. I can recommend it for sure.

Like a few other reviewers, I found it exceptionally disappointing that this is incompatible with basically ANY protective case for your iPad. It even says it’s incompatible with any screen protector as well.

What product DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUNG CHILDREN would require you to have a completely unprotected device? This seems like a really stupid design flaw by the designers. This is a dealbreaker for our family as we’re not about to hand over our $500 iPads to our 3 year old.

Osmo, please do better. Your product seems like a good concept, but an adjustable base doesn’t seem that difficult.

I bought this for my little guy who turned 3 a couple months back. I like the idea of Osmo but it’s definitely glitchy. Kiddo was forming his letters. They were perfect. The software kept saying they were wrong.

I corrected the lighting. Still wrong. I placed my hands over the mat and somehow it read the letters as correct. Literally, you could see my fingers in the snapshot it took. There were other times when the kiddo was right but the snapshot was incomplete so visually the saved version was incorrect.

This sends a ton of mixed messages and I loom forward to their correction. In the meantime, we’ll return it and wait for better.

We got the Osmo Little Genius Starter Kit to accompany our own iPad for our toddler a couple of years ago. He still plays with it all of the time. We have purchased the additional counting/math pack and purchased a few more of the apps to go along with the kit so he can play new games.

He loves the creativity of helping complete the stories, he has learned so many shapes and how to construct them with the pieces, he uses the numbers to count and practice addition and subtraction. He has learned to navigate through the apps to find the activities he loves and always gets excited to show us what he is working on.

Absolutely worth the investment as we feel he is learning so much while getting to have fun!.

Moo ve over! They say. The cow sound is the favorite on it. I have herd ( spelled for fun) it say Moo a zillion times! LOL They like the animal sounds the best, but they lose interest in it pretty quick.

the concept is nice, there just isn’t a lot for it to hold their attention. They run through the buttons fast, and randomly, but very fast it gets set down, and on to bigger better things! it just needs a bit more than it has to hold the attention.

My son really enjoyed this toy. He is about to turn two next month. His slightly older brothers have Kindles. He was so proud to have his very own tablet. He loved pushing the buttons and hearing the music play.

I like that it teaches the alphabets and first words. I also like that there were different modes so as your child learns you can change modes to help them learn even more. Even my son’s bigger brothers (3 and 6) wanted to try this toy out.

I highly recommend this toy.

As a consumer, I like the product itself. It introduces my 12-month-old daughter to letters and words, it’s durable, and easy to clean. The cons: my daughter isn’t interested in this tablet, unless I’m engaging with her.

Phones, tablets, and computers are now a flat screen and my daughter enjoys taking my phone or tablet, running her fingers all over my screen, and watching apps appear (or disappear). She isn’t quite sure about the buttons!.

Bought this as a Christmas/Yule present for my 9 year old grandson who loves outer space and science. Glad he opened it last because he almost couldn’t put it down for the rest of the day! It’s easy for him to use and he’s even teaching his 5 year old sister about the planets.

They both have a favorite planet – Saturn. It was well worth the purchase price. I didn’t get the warranty because he’s very careful with his electronics. But if you have a child who isn’t, I’d suggest getting it.

I bought this tablet for my grandson who longs to grow-up and become an astronaut. He is having a great time playing with this tablet and learning about all things in our universe. Great buy!!

The quality seems good but it’s just not a fun toy or very engaging. There are a few true or false questions. Nothing on the screen moves — just buttons to push that generate a yes/no question or two.

So it’s not a game or a good educational toy. I bought it for my grandchildren, 4.

The only reason this product is getting a 2 star rating is because I appreciate what it does overall (keeping your toddler entertained). However, that is about all the good there is when it comes to this tablet.

It is quite surprising, personally speaking, that this product has such high reviews (which is the sole reason I got it). I should have definitely looked into it more before buying this. Connection – Terrible: I have a high end router so i can assure you the wifi connection is not the issue as all my other devices were connected just fine.

Tablet might as well be wireLESS. constantly getting disconnected and booted from internet for no reason whatsoever. Lag – Atrocious: I understand this is a fairly cheap tablet, however, the lag behind it is just simply outrageous.

You cannot use this tablet properly to do anything, and when something does finally load, its so laggy you cannot do anything within the app. Freezing – Nightmare: If the lag and connection issues weren’t bad enough, this tablet would constantly freeze to the point where NOTHING would load and buttons would be COMPLETELY unresponsive.

This would require a reboot, quite frequently at that.

This tablet is awesome! my son loves using it even though I limit his use so that he doesn t become dependent on it. Parental controls work great and like that it has a lower light setting. If you have a Prime account, this will be even easier to set up and control all the downloads your child will have.

The screen size is great with vibrant colors but not too big that it doesnt fit in his back pack for easy storage. Its also great that it does not have to be connected to the internet the entire time in order to work.

The case is wonderful and it protects the tablet incredibly well and its easy/comfortable for kids to hold. The kick stand is good because you can use it to lean the tablet back or stand it straight up for easy viewing.

The battery life lasts really well on this tablet too especially if you keep the brightness and volume dowm. Enjoy!.

Purchased this product for my son. This is expensive considering what kids use it for and the fact that you have to pay for everything in the AppStore, it makes it more challenging and more expensive to enjoy this product.

We would absolutely not recommend this tablet for not only because it’s a money grabbing product but also because it’s slow , very easily lose charge and not educational at all. Yes there are apps out there from Amazon that can help your kid to sing the ABC but let’s be realistic for a second here … do you really need this junk to to see them progress and discover the world in a fun way? NO! If we just switch off the TV and put down our smart phone for 10min /day we are much more valuable than a useless tablet like this.

We had purchased Amazon Fire Tablet 7s for both of our boys. Overall, they’re ok. The tablet is easy to set up and navigate and the parents controls are super useful and easy to set up to make sure your kids are using programs you allow, allows for timers and reading goals etc.

Love these for those features. But the tablet itself, not super impressed. They’re cheap to purchase, but they’re cheap. Both fire tablets stopped charging within a few months of their year warranty.

Amazon customer service did offer a percentage discount because they were out of warranty. We upgraded to the tablet 10 simply because the fire system itself is user friendly, easy to set up, and integrates well with our other products.

Hoping they physically hold up better than the 7s.

Horrible tablet. Completely useless. Bought one a few years ago for my daughter and it would never open any apps! Nothing on it works! You can use the camera and that’s about it. My mother ended up buying one for my son this year (had I known I would’ve stopped her) and it has the same exact problem! Doesn’t download anything, can’t open any app, useless.

Basically a paperweight. Please DO NOT waste your money on this. Don’t buy into the thousands of fake fabricated reviews this thing has. Twice in a row, years apart and this tablet has the same exact issues.

I bought this same tablet last year for my then 3-yr old grandson. He loves it and knows how to “work it” better than me! The Fun Kid (Amazon Kid) app is incredible! It only provides kid-friendly apps, videos, and movies without advertisements and inappropriate purchases.

This is free for the first year and worth renewing at one’s own expense. It has 16 GBI of memory, but one will want to buy an SD card to expand the memory for full length movies. This way the tablet can be used when there isn’t access to Internet.

My true testimony comes from the fact that I ordered this tablet AGAIN this Christmas for his two year old brother. I downloaded several movies on it and narrowed the age-appropriate availability of apps to fit his needs.

But that’s not all! It has a 2 year warranty! The first tablet’s screen cracked due to normal “kid use”. I called Amazon customer service , and they are sending another tablet. I’ll just download everything on the SD card and insert the card into the new tablet.

This will transfer all the old data onto the new tablet. I’m sure the new tablet is a refurbished one, but it will still replace the used, cracked one. I will send the cracked tablet back to the company.

Customer service was kind and helpful during this process; no stress. I’m sold on these tablets! For my young grandsons, it’s been a wonderful toy providing entertainment, both for pleasure and academics.

It is a life-saver in the car. Kids can watch a movie while traveling , keeping EVERYONE happy!.

I bought two. One for my five year old grandson and one for my 2 year old grandson. Nice learning tool for the 2 year old. My five year old was already well versed in Dino names and the simple little facts this toy gives.

If you have a Dino lover that already is good a pronouncing the most popular Dino names and know a little about them. You may want to skip this one. I was a bit disappointed in the one sentence facts each Dino.

It could have been more informative for the money.

Ordered this for my Dinosaur obsessed 3 yr old Grandson. He loves it. It will last awhile, as the games on it are a little advanced for him. He’ll eventually will be able to play all features on ot.

Bought this for my daughter for christmas. It started showing issues 2 months later with the operating system. It was lagging, freezing, screen turned off on its own and would freeze whenever she tried to do ANYTHING.

THE TABLET IS COMPLETE JUNK. She hasnt even had it a year and we cant use it at all due to all the operating system issues. It currently freezes and stays frozen. She has to wait about 20 mins for each video to load or game.

with a 6 year old that doesnt go well so we dont even use it anymore. I usually dont leave reviews but this was a complete waste of money to only get 2 months worth of use out of it. Will never buy this brand again.

I ordered two of these at Christmas for my 4 and 7 year old kids. One works great and has had no issues – everything I hoped for to keep them entertained. After about a month, the other one began shutting down or the screen freezing.

It was a hassle for a while but now it only stays on for a few minutes at a time – making it worthless. Attempted suggested factory resets but nothing changed. Both tablets had the same setup and apps added and neither browsed the internet so it is something with the software I guess.

It’s supposed to have year warranty and I’ve attempted to contact Contixo multiple, multiple times but no response from them. Like I said, one works great and the other is useless especially since there appears to be no customer service when you contact customer service.

If you buy. hope for one that works.

Spark learning tablet I got this for my four-year-old grandson, it says 12 months and up but he seems to like to play with it. It teaches music, letters, numbers, colors and words among other things.

It will ask the kids to find something on the keyboard and they have to select the right button if they select the right button they get a trumpet sound if they select the wrong button it lets them know they are wrong.

It’s not very big, definitely small enough for a little kid to use it. It takes two AAA batteries, the box said they were supposed to be included but they were not. I bought batteries and it seem to work fine.

It seems like it lasts quite a long time on the battery because there’s no screen it’s all push buttons, sound and music. I was concerned I didn’t think it look like it was very sturdy wasn’t sure how well it would hold up but we had a test of the sturdiness two days after he got it.

We were in the car going 55 miles an hour with the windows down. Unfortunately he held the learning tablet up and it blew out the window. There was a fair amount of traffic but we turned and went back.

I expected a pile of broken plastic but it was on the very edge of the road and intact. My son picked it up and turned it on low and behold seems to work fine. There are a few little scratches on one corner is all.

I’d say it must be a lot sturdier than it looked. I would say this is a good buy for the money and if you think it is something your child might like definitely get it.
