It works but I only give 2 stars because of the ingredients ,, WHY ADDING FD&C red no. 40 when not needed ? Red dye # 40 not approved and now banned in Europe after more study links to depression, ADD, migraines, bad behavior.

Basics about FD&C Red #40 and possible behavioral Red 40 is a dye banned throughout most of Europe. It is a petroleum-based substance and does not naturally occur. This dye along with other man-made food colorings have been shown in some studies to be psychoactive; the psychoactive effects seem to mainly affect children who are already somewhat hyperactive with short attention spans.

Such children have reportedly thrown tantrums, experience sudden major depressive traits, and even talked of suicide after ingesting artificial food coloring, particularly red 40 or yellow 5.

Good – it worked! But. 1 – it made me awfully nauseous and lightheaded, not to mention it causes you to have urgent breaks to the bathroom. Not a very comfortable experience. 2 – when you first eat them, they’re not too bad.

The texture does seem like candy and they weren’t the worst thing i had eaten. The latter thought, however, changed five minutes after. After a bit of having swallowed them, it tasted as if i had vomited and the flavor stuck in my throat for an uncomfortable amount of time.

3 – I took three of the chews, but they worked until about seven hours later. At first, I thought it might’ve been because it was my first time having them, but I’ve now taken them on three separate occasions and they end up working an hour or two after the advertised statement of 1/2-6 hours.

All in all, they do the job but they could be better.

I generally don’t leave reviews. Unless a product really left an impression with me. This particular product left me a bad one. I’m 35 years old and have had issues with constipation since I was 5 or 6 years old.

I’ve tried a lot of different things but I’ve never experienced this much discomfort before. The dosage says 2-4 and I am so thankful I only ended up taking 2 of them. I took them yesterday afternoon around 1pm.

Around 6pm I was sitting in my living room going through mail and my stomach started making loud growling sounds. Not too long after that started having stomach cramps. About an hour later I started getting hot flashes and nauseous.

I asked my boyfriend if he would go out and grab me some dramamine for the nausea. While he was out, I had an extreme urge to use the bathroom. Only to sit down and not do anything. I was extremely bloated and gassy.

But I could not pass any gas either. I got up and headed for the bedroom to lay down and use my heating pad. I wasn’t in bed an entire 5 minutes and I projectile vomited. Not once but multiple times.

I tossed and turned a lot last night. I was just so uncomfortable from the terrible cramps. I honestly have never had cramps that bad before in my life. I also have endometriosis. so having cramps isnt new to me.

But this was something different. At one point in the middle of the night, I hesitated going to the hospital. I thought that maybe I had a blockage somewhere. But, I didn’t and roughed it out until morning.

When I got up today I felt drained. Extremely weak, like I just had got over a stomach virus. The stomach pain/cramping has finally seemed to have gone away and its 11pm. I also did finally use the bathroom but was barely anything at all.

Anyways. I had to get on here to check the reviews to see if anyone else has experienced what I did. And sure enough there was quite a few. I do not recommend dulcolax chews. that was a horrifying experience.

I threw the rest in the garbage. I will not buy them again.

The pills don’t really do a whole lot for me, but since I needed a good cleansing, I decided to try the liquid this time. I’m glad I did! I’ve been feeling backed up for weeks now and needed some immediate relief.

This is just as good–if not better–than the name brand. It works within an hour and is long lasting. It’s affordable and perfect for a cold or minor sinus infection, or just allergies! Highly recommend.

These are my alternatives when the actual name brand one is not available. It is super affordable at Walmart and are somewhat effective. I feel as if they are not as effective as the name brand ones.

Overall I was satisfied with the price I paid for these. They take a few hours to kick in so take them before bed if you’re wanting to go the next morning.

I have to take this daily due to intestinal surgery. It dissolves easily in water, works well and is tasteless.

Much better price and fast compared to drug store. If you can wait 2 days, way to go. Will take longer if you live rural.

I made mistake of not thinking it worked at first felt really stuck ed up. however after some of this mixed with my drink non tasting that’s for sure but it helped me tremendously smooth move however felt like the toilet was my house for a day or 2 works great it takes a while to kick in.

ok. first of all those who suffer from constipation know how awful it is and for some it is a life-long aggravation. I’ve taken every medication when it comes to this awful malady and some meds can be so horrible it doesn’t seem to be worth it.

I finally got this medication and it has helped so much where I can live without that awful bloating and pain associated with constipation. I took 2 pills and within 2 days it worked and it was gentle and now I use it once a week to maintain a healthy pattern where before I would go for weeks w/o out a BM.

that’s right. weeks to a couple of months. Now, if I go once a week I feel liberated and it’s now required maintenance for me. thank God this stuff works.

I was diagnosed by specialist with Coeliac disease and cirrhosis of the liver. It for some reason cause a lot of issues with my bowel. I don’t know which one dies. Do notice if eat gluten it can get pretty painful.

There are a lot of mixed reviews out here so I wanted to give a detailed review to help! I recently had surgery, and as it happens, I had no regular bowel movements for a few days. The first night I took 2 pills, and nothing happened for me. The next morning I took 2 more during breakfast, and another one later at lunch. A few hours later, I felt cramping, bloating, and the urge to go, but couldn’t (super annoying!) So, I took another one before dinner.

This put me at the max 4 pill directed dose in one day for an adult. After dinner, I felt more painful cramping, and after 2 hours, was finally able to have movement. The medication triggered a few more after the first, so I was pretty cleared out by the energy of the night and much more relieved! Overall – not a bad medication, but not immediate effects!
