I loved the concept, so I bought some to try. At first I tried just a very small warm load (a few of my husband’s dress shirts) using a half sheet (as instructed on package), but instead of putting it on top of my clothes as it filled, I dissolved the sheet first, thinking the goo might stick to one piece of laundry.
There was some foam, but not much, however it did dissolve completely, which was my first concern. I hadn’t pre-treated, just to test the power of this stuff, and his collars came out probably as clean as my regular detergent would without spot treating (which is OK but not really clean).
Next I tried a normal load of whites in hot water. One pair of socks had a grass stain from mowing the lawn. I pinned them together and again did not spot treat. I was very disappointed at how green they still were at the end of the load, and had to rewash them and a few other pieces that just didn’t make the grade.
I don’t know how anyone could get by without wet detergent or something like SHOUT to spot-treat any obvious dirt first. For travelling, these strips will be great for handwashing a few items in a sink in an emergency, or maybe using 2 per normal load.
But at the price per sheet (i. e. price per load), I can’t afford to make the switch from wet detergent that I can buy on sale. And I forgot there was a subscription to this, so I just got another pk of 32 at full (not intro) price, so now I think I’m set for life! If the price comes WAY down, I may consider trying an “environmentally friendly” product again, but since I have the space for the bulky wet detergent, these sheets will not become my normal every day product.
As a self proclaimed low-waster, I clicked on the YouTube ad with a fair bit of skepticism but went for the 30-day trial April 2020. A low eco-footprint “value purchase. ” Within a month I’d ordered a year’s supply (for single person it looks like it may last me nearly two years!) even though it had a high up front cost — I had Covid brain at the time so was thinking more about avoiding extra shopping.
To my suprise, even after many months I found myself still doing “test” experiments of #strips per load/type of loafd, even combined with remaining old detergent. it just didn’t seem plausible that this tiny concentrated product without fancy packaging could work in direct contrast to of the entire laundry industry!!! Eventually it dawned on me that I’d had satisfactorily clean clothes for more than half a year, the 384 load box is smaller than a shoe box for storage, and I won’t need to deal with massive detergent jugs ever again?! The practical side of me is in 100%, my values-driven side is in 200% and yet some part of me STILL seems surprised that Tru Earth laundry approach seems too good to be true — kind of ridiculous, actually! I encourage you to TAKE THE PLUNGE.
Months from now you won’t regret it and may even shift the way you think about laundry. The dryer balls were also a worthwhile buy – faster drying time but also much quieter than tennis balls and don’t crack/crumble over time.
Anyways, a definite 5 star review influenced only by my personal experience and respect for the product details & company philosophy. Tru Earth is shaking things up! So grateful for a truly responsible alternative to laundry impact.
This product is not hypoallergenic and is full of Cocamidopropyl Betaine, a synthetic chemical made from coconuts. It is a known skin irritant and causes contact dermatitis. The longer you use this product, the worse your skin will blister and itch.
Do not buy into this green-wash scam. It took us three months to figure out that this “hypoallergenic” product was in fact the opposite. After washing everything in a well-known reliable hypoallergenic detergent, we immediately started to get better.
Within three days, we were completely better. That’s three months of discomfort and hundreds of dollars in dermatologist visits we will never get back. Stay away from this product.

I’m not sure what this is made up of because the packaging does NOT say much. It foams up just like baking soda when I pour white vinegar. Has a different color than baking soda, that’s for sure. I do know the cloth diapers are a bit cleaner looking.
When we moved off the grid, trucking our garbage three hours away to the dump became a monthly necessity we took upon ourselves. Considering we have three children, disposable diapers were no longer an option.
The first thing we learned about cloth diapers is that they *require* special laundry detergent. We tried our standard “gentle” detergent and not only did the cloth diapers completely stop absorbing fluids, but they also irritated my children’s skin and smelled like amonia.
We were ready to give up on cloth diapers completely until I went online and discovered Rockin’ Green Cloth Diaper and Laundry Detergent. After that, our cloth diapers worked perfectly! They absorb the urine, don’t smell like amonia and don’t cause rashes.
I just use it like standard detergent then line-dry the diapers. For particularly soiled loads it works wonderfully as a soak too. Plus I absolutely adore the Smashing Melon scent!.

I liked that it properly aids water to clean my delicate clothing. Please consider how I mentioned “delicate” such as wool or midly dirty clothing. It provides a good clean when you add the double of recommended amount to a load, two of those cups.
It fails to provide an ultra strong cleaning effect on stains however, and that is just the truth. I will continue buying because I own some wool garments. Advice from me to you for lengthening and maintaining the time your clothes looks good would be: be carefull with your dryer, the dryer is the number one murderer of fabrics, all types.
That is more damaging than any detergent on the market.
This is my go-to detergent for all laundry, and especially wool base layers and socks. For wool, I always hang dry. But one warning, don’t stack these bottles on top of each other, at least not in the upright position.
The bottom of the bottle can crack from the pressure of the cap of the bottle beneath it. Can’t remember if I had them stacked 2 high or 3 high. Luckily I caught the leak before it caused too much of a mess, but I did lose about 1/2 a bottle.
Our most technologically-advanced formula yet uses multiple enzyme systems to fight the toughest stains. This powerful formula is uniquely packaged in an innovative recyclable or compostable bottle, made from 100% recycled fiber.
The entire packaging system (fiber bottle, pouch, spout, cap) uses 66% less plastic than a typical 100 oz 2X laundry bottle – while delivering the same number of loads.
How to Use: For all water temperatures cold & hot. Measure with the cap. Follow garment care label instructions. Pretreat: Pour onto stained fabric, rub gently and soak. Measure: Line 2 (0.75 oz/22 ml) for medium loads; to line 3 (1 oz/29 ml) for heavily soiled or larger loads. Wash: Use dispenser for HE washers. For standard washers, start machine, add detergent, then clothes. Contains 66 loads as measured to medium dose. Septic safe.
The first time using this detergent it ruined some of my lighter colored clothes. I washed a load of laundry (on cold setting, as Always) with an Older red shirt that I have already washed Many Times before with Cheer Laundry Detergent over the past 4 years or more, and this detergent made the red color bleed and left pink patches on several of the other clothes in the load.
I don’t even know how that could be possible with a shirt that old that has been washed so many times before. This product has to be defective. This detergent says it has color guard, but that is Very False.
This product Should Be removed from the shelves before it causes any more damage to customers clothing, or damage to the Members Mark brand (which usually has pretty good quality products).
Thank I used to purchase Gain or Tide but when the inflation happened, I decided to cut cost when I could. I didn’t have very high hopes, but man was I in for a surprise!! This is WAY better than the branded names.
I smell my clothes when I wearing them, and there have been stains that were set in that the other hadn’t got cleaned, and this one cleaned it and the stain was actually gone!! I cannot recommend this enough!!! We will never buy other brands ever again!.
I agree with the reviewers who wrote that this stuff is just as good as, if not better than Tide or Gain. We were longtime users of Tide. Then, one day, my wife came across a comparison of laundry detergents in Consumer Reports that prompted her to want to try it.
Member’s Mark did not disappoint. Though cheaper than the big brands, its cleaning power surpassed them. I had oil stains in some of my work clothes that I just could not get out. This detergent lifted them out easily.
I’m not saying that Member’s Mark will remove ALL oil stains (mine were relatively fresh), but I will say that it has some excellent cleaning agents that will lift out most, if they’re newer stains. Our whites turned out just as fresh and clean as our former favorite, Tide, and, at a few dollars less, it’s more of a bargain.
We will definitely buy this detergent again. The only issue we have with it, though, is that it isn’t sold in Walmart stores, and with this clean, it should be!.
The 3-in-1 cleaning power in this clear, recyclable bottle fights tough dirt + stains with every wash, keeping whites white and colors bright. Made with powerful plant-based stain lifters and fabulous, lasting fragrances, one little capful of concentrated formula takes care of one big load.
You’ve heard the saying before, when something refreshing just breezed in, and everything’s a little bit better because of it? Well, this scent is just like that—a breath of fresh air. The kind you smell.
To Wash: Pour into detergent tray or directly into machine. Follow care label instructions. To Pre-treat: Rub a little detergent onto stain. Wait 5 minutes. Wash as usual. Test an inside seam or inconspicuous area for colorfastness. Medium Load: Use 2/3 capful. Large load: Use a capful.

This review is for the Mango and Ginger one. I think overall it has a great smell, a little goes a long way. It does leaves clothes clean but most of our clothes dont get stains or dirt, just normal wear from working from home.
It will fade dark colors. It also leaves like a odd residue on your clothes. I tried adding less, I tried adding more to see if there was a difference, but clothes dont feel soft like using tide or gain products.
If you have sensitive skin, this detergent may not be for you. If you have eczema it may cause a flare up. Our sweaters became itchy after using this detergent as compared to using Tide Zero.
I absolutely want to love this product. I use it on a regular basis and I think it smells so nice! But I feel like whenever I use it, I get contact dermatitis and my eczema flares up. I’m not 100% sure that this is what’s causing it, but timing wise it seems to line up.
Being that this is a hypoallergenic detergent, I was hoping this would be gentle for me, but my skin seems to react every time. I wish I didn’t have to discontinue use. It cleans so well!! Has anybody else experienced allergic reactions from this? I feel like all I read are raving reviews on it.
I did read that the preservative methylisothiazolinone and fragrance may be what is the cause for dermatitis, but I wish it didn’t happen to me. I think it’s a great detergent, otherwise!.
I don’t know about anybody else but I personally love for my laundry to smell good. Always have, always will. This scent is non existent. I ordered the “fresh air” scent expecting it to have maybe like a linen scent or something but it’s nothing.
Totally odorless. For once I’m disappointed in a target brand item. I don’t know if this is the same problem for the other scents for this product. they’re all fruity and I don’t like fruity smelling laundry so I didn’t bother trying them.
I gave it two stars because it simply gets my clothes clean which I guess is the point but really any detergent does that.
It is 4 times concentrated washing detergent of method. Effectively removes dirt and stains. Protect the unique color of the fabric. White stays white and colored clothing stays sharper. Can also be used in cold water.
Made with vegetable ingredients, it is a hypoallergenic detergent. 66 batches. you love coffee, red wine and chocolate milk shakes. just not on your clothes. the naturally derived cleaning power in this recyclable bottle fights tough dirt + stains.
so your whites stay white and your colors stay bright. now you can indulge in your favorite foods without having to worry about your wardrobe.
I thought I’d try a different detergent, after learning that plant-based laundry soaps are better for septic systems. Some research led me back to Method, which I already like for their body washes. This product is awesome! I love the scent and only a tiny capful is needed, so no more excessive bubbles.
I went back and purchased more bottles during a $15 gift card promotion, so now I’m all set when I run out of laundry detergent. This might be a while, as each small bottle washes 66 loads. This is definitely my new favorite product.
Life is complicated. Laundry shouldn’t be. With Seventh Generation’s new Easy Dose Ultra Concentrated Laundry Detergent, you get the right amount of liquid-every time. Just flip the bottle, give a firm squeeze, and you’re done.
One squeeze is all your need! Our compact 23oz bottle gives you the same 66-load convenience you expect, but uses 60% less plastic, 50% less water, and is 75% lighter than our 100 fl oz bottle. A USDA Certified Bio based Product 99% made with an advanced-enzyme formula that fights tough stains, it’s a great choice for your busy family.
Easy to use, easy to store, and easy to love-our Ultra Concentrated Laundry Detergent is about to change the way you think about clean.
First of all, I am very grateful for the opportunity that Influenster gave me to test out this product. I received this free to try and in return, give my honest opinion about the product and my experience.
The EASYDOSE product I received came in the 23. 1 FL OZ bottle in the Rose Scent. Its claim was that it was good for 66 loads. I gave this product a 1 star rating, (will explain) but as I believe and appreciate what this company is trying to do, I feel that, itself, should be acknowledged positively.
Pros: The idea and concept of “Easy Dose”, as well as the eco friendly concept of all of their products. I initially liked the smell of the product as well, as it is unique, not finding that scent offered with other brands.
Cons: Concept of one squeeze for medium loads, and two squeezes for heavey loads. In my opinion, this does not work in a real world setting. First of all, is that medium size LOAD or medium SOIL level.
Although it states it is concentrated, one squirt was not sufficient to clean my laundry and especially not my son’s. He works in maintenence and gets pretty dirty as well as having a bigger physique, sweats A LOT.
Even just washing my LIGHTLY soiled clothes, MEDIUM size load, they did not come out feeling or smelling clean at all, even after they had dried. Definitely did not smell like a ROSE. So when I next washed my son’s clothes, LARGE load, HEAVY soil, I just used two squeezes.
The load came out smelling just just as bad as it did when I started. I washed that load for a second time, doubling the amount of product I used the first time, 4 squirts. It came out still smelling just as bad.
I ended up rewashing it for a third time in my regular Detergent and it came out clean and smelling fresh. I continued to use the product only for my clothes, which if trying to save money, you wouldn’t want to have to buy multiple separate products to do the family laundry.
Again, continued disappointment with the rest of this product. Having to rewash my laundry and use more of the product than recommended, which is not recommended with HD machines, caused me more time and effort to get my laundey clean as well as the wasting water to rewash.
Definitely DID NOT get 66 loads out of that bottle. Definitely NOT a money saver if having to rewash your laundry and counting on that number of loads as advertised. Disappointed and definitely WOULD NOT purchase this product in the future.
Loved the size of the bottle and the fact I didn’t have to pour it in a cup just a squirt. I would say I had a medium load seeing it was mostly bath towels and a few face and hand towels. I also used a little booster and a small amount of scents.
The upstairs hallway smelled amazing and the clothes came out not smelling like roses but fresh. I love wearing my perfumes and I don’t want the scent of my clothes to be over powered by my laundry soap or dryer sheets.
I smelled the towels this morning and they smelled clean and fresh. I look forward to trying the other scents I really love Lavender and will spray my bedding with it before bed so I really don’t care if my clothes come out the dryer not smelling like roses or lavender because we using a Free and Clear detergent at the moment and we are ok with no scents but we’ll add the scents to the wash.
I like smelling laundry drying outside when the scents come through the vent but sitting hear at my desk if I put my nose to my sweater or shirt there is a light scent and it’s fresh and clean. I’m going to wash a small load of my clothes without the scents or booster and that’ll determine if I’ll try another bottle when I’m done with this one.
The Laundress Classic scent detergent is 33 ounces and that’s what I’ve been using and the after the dryer scent is there but not over powering. Also super concentrated but I use more than suggested not too much.
I think you should use detergent accordingly if you or someone is working in dirt then of course use more I think 66 loads is for small to medium loads not large loads.
This product is terrible. I will not be repurchasing. I bought during a promotion to buy three, get one free. So, I have had to use 4 bottles if this! First of all, I always used 7th Gen Free and Clear because half of my family has super sensitive skin.
I never thought it smelled good or bad wither way because it has no scent (which is something this sensitive akin has to live with). However, I believe these people think their clothes smell bad because they aren’t using enough detergent.
There is no way on this earth that one squeeze is enough for anything but like 3 items of clothes. So, their clothes stink because they are dirty. I had to use at least 6 squirts for my average sized loads (I do wash really big loads).
I am thinking 8 for loads where my washer is full (I also have the largest size washer they sell that’s not commercial). When, I do that, my clothes are clean and the same as if I washed them with the former large gray bottle of 7th Gen Free and Clear.
My point is, there is less detergent in this, and you have to use the same amount as the old one to get your clothes clean. So, this is a big rip off. As for the bottle, it does take practice, but I honestly don’t mind it that much.
I squeeze it into the old gray bottle cap to measure it out. (I saved it because I saw this coming a mile away, and I know it’s necessary because I use way more than it says…my clithes never come out stiff and soapy.
Our Member’s Mark Plant Based Liquid Laundry Detergent’s biodegradable formula is specifically formulated with plant-based cleaning ingredients so that it is tough on stains, yet better for the environment.
This laundry detergent is USDA certified Biobased 97% and contains no dyes, phosphates, or chlorine.
Bought it because the one I normally get seemed to be out of stock all the time. Natural scent. Plant based. 🤷♀️ meh, sure why not. Well well well. After first washed on brand new clothes. right off back, strong smell of moldy wet clothes.
nah, not having it. washed it 2nd round. same thing. ok. haven’t lost hope yet. lets dry this. 1hr of drying. moldy smelly wet sock. used in 2yo washer and dryer. big hard pass no.
This detergent has a strong lavender smell at first. After washing and drying I didn’t smell anything. As far as cleaning power, it isn’t that great. This is probably best for people who don’t get very messy or sweaty.
Also, the suds are outrageous. Be prepared to do a second rinse.
Love this detergent. Very light clean lavender scent. I no longer use fabric softener, with this detergent my clothes & towels as soft as when I was. Even the grittiest and pet loved laundry comes out of the washer clean and stain free.

Dreft detergent rinses thoroughly without leaving behind any residue and leaves clothes feeling soft, comfortable, and clean. Why is Dreft Ultra Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent Good for Babies Dreft baby detergent has been a top choice of mom’s for over 80 years.
In that time, Dreft worked toward perfecting their formula. Babies are messy and produce a lot of dirty laundry. It’s important to use a detergent that thoroughly cleans while remaining gentle on skin.
Today, Dreft laundry detergent is the top choice of pediatricians because it’s both gentle and effective. Because it washes clean, there’s no residue left behind which results in soft, clean clothes that don’t cause irritation.
Plus, it’s really effective. Believe it or not, it actually helps remove 99% of baby food stains. Can I Use Dreft Laundry Detergent for My Whole Family Of course Dreft Ultra Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent may be gentle enough for babies but it’s so tough on stains that it’s perfect for the whole family.
Dreft baby detergent is also a good choice for anyone with allergies or sensitive skin because it’s less likely to cause irritation. For best results, follow the dosing directions on the bottle Dreft laundry detergent to make sure you’re using the right amount for your washing machine and the size of each load of laundry.
This large 150-fluid ounce container is super concentrated and contains enough Dreft detergent to wash 110 loads of clothes and should last a long time. It’s an effective, economical choice for any family that produces a lot of dirty clothes and prefers a gentle laundry detergent.
I am in literal tears writing this review. I don’t normally write reviews but this is making me emotional. I’ve been using Dreft for 3 years with my one and only son. My fertility battle was not easy and couldn’t wait until I could purchase Dreft for a child of my own like so many Mamas before me.
As he’s into his toddler years now, I wasn’t quite ready to let go of the wonderful baby smell his clothes had. I absolutely loved doing his laundry so much with the previous scented Dreft. I loved to breath in his clothes and I was folding them and putting them away.
I just opened and used a new 150 fl oz. and did his laundry. I was caught off guard and horrified with the smell. It’s absolutely awful and it ripped away all of my wonderful memories of doing his laundry.
I wasn’t prepared to let go of his baby smelling laundry just yet and now I’m being forced too, without warning. I feel robbed. I wasn’t prepared to have to look for a new detergent for my son’s clothes.
I didn’t know that my last load with my old bottle would be my last baby smelling load. I’m so saddened by this experience. The smell is so strong, it’s stuck in the back of my mouth and I can taste it.
I don’t want a silly response about how so many parents “love” this disgusting new floral smell over the original scent. I don’t want someone to reply trying to fake being empathetic to a mother’s memory or struggle.
Read the room. parents hate the new scent and can’t afford to buy scent boosting additive in addition to another detergent just to see “if” it replicates the original version. Honestly, words can’t express how incredibly heartbroken this makes me.
The only thing that can fix this for me and, so many others, is to bring back the original scent or, at least, offer it as an option along side the new version. I was a loyal user and, unfortunately, will not be purchasing anymore of your products.
Ever since I first received my first bottle of this detergent when I was pregnant with my first child, I have never purchased anything else to wash my children’s clothes. My children have sensitive skin, so I will take any measures in order to help protect them.
This includes the soap I was their clothes with. I love the light fresh scent, which makes their clothes smell clean yet not overpowering. It gets the job done, vanishing all of my kids’ tough stains.
Whenever I attend a baby shower, I love to make gift baskets filled with my favorite products. Each basket always has a bottle of Dreft! This is something that many people don’t think to gift, or first time mothers even think to purchase.
I am happy to help them think of the things like detergent, that can easily be overlooked. We will continue to purchase this detergent even when they are no longer young. The scent will always remind me of when I first starting using it, which brings so much nostalgia! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion and review.

I am glad I got the opportunity to sample Persil ProClean Oxi pods. The easiness of the pod is great and beats lugging around a heavy bottle of detergent. My clothes came out so nice, you could feel that my clothes were deep cleaned.
My whites got whiter and brighter and didn’t turn that grayish color that whites do sometimes. New stains came out so easily. I wash certain things in cold water and my clothes were really really rinsed out.
Another thing is that my clothes smelled great. Even the odors in my husband’s work clothes came right out. It is gentle on my clothes fibers. The clothes stayed smelling great in the drawers and closets.
I have purchased 2 tubs of Persil ProClean Oxi pods. I have given my family, friends and followers my seal of approval. Any skeptics? I give them 3 pods to try and they change their opinion of the Pods.
I am now a loyal customer of #Persil. Thank you #Sampler.

The product itself I give 4 stars. Walmart replaced my order with 8 small bags that total 141. 04oz, the original was 176. 36oz. All for the Same Price. That is wrong! It should have at least been 10 small bags! That would have been a total of 176.
30oz’s! Walmart delevery is who I’m giving the 1 star review on!.
Sport-Wash Residue Free Detergent is safe for all washable fabrics, and yet powerful enough to remove odors and your toughest stains such as soil, blood, and grass. Its secret is that unlike other detergents designed to leave brighteners, fragrances, and other residue behind, Sport-Wash rinses completely.
Nothing is left on your clothing to clog the pores of your fabric. Cotton, wool, and synthetic materials are left completely clean. Insulation like down, Thinsulate, and Hollofil fluff up for maximum warmth.
And even difficult to clean sportswear materials such as Gore-Tex have their waterproofing and breathability restored. The total rinsability of Sport-Wash leaves nothing behind to smell, clog, or radiate UV glow from brighteners.
While Sport-Wash does not contain phosphates to “brighten” your clothes, you’ll find it does not need them because on its own it leaves fabrics cleaner than any other detergent. In addition, if you or any members of your family have sensitive skin or are allergic to the residue left behind by commercial detergents, Sport-Wash eliminates the rash, redness, and irritation you’ve suffered through with other detergents.
No more itchy, irritated skin. Sport-Wash is safe and effective even for “delicate care” fabrics. It will remove stains and odors without harming bright colors. It likely costs less per load than your regular laundry detergent and completely eliminates the need for fabric softener (another source of odor and chemical irritation).
+IMHO you cannot buy a better product. I’ve been using Sport Wash for over 10 years. I’ve tried detergent from most/all of the “hunting products companies” and found nothing that surpasses Sport Wash, here’s why.
This is by far the most economical wash on market; 1 capfull (one oz) does a full load of my camo & layers. It leaves absolutely, positively no scent or odor on the clothes. I must also add that it cleans well ! Most household laundry products have UV brighteners to brighten our clothes.
Imagine the pictures we’ve all seen of flowers as bees see them. Bees see on lower (UV) end of the color spectrum which makes the UV jump out in their sight. UV brighteners do the same thing to the colors (even camo), resulting in neon camo.
Sport Wash has no UV brighteners so there is no UV glow. Just to recap; 1) cheap to use 2) TOTALLY scent free 3) No UV glow. I definitely recommend Sport Wash!.
I have several pairs of gym and yoga shorts that are made of polypropylene and after one month of wear they developed a horrible odor that would become worse with heat and sweat. My normal detergent temporarily removed the funky odor but this ATSKO detergent worked much better and actually removed the odor permanently.
I recommend soaking your sports gear with a capful of ATSKO detergent and warm water immediately after sweating in them. After soaking overnight, put everything in the washer. For maximum effectiveness never use standard detergent on your sports gear after you clean it with ATSKO.
This stuff works great. The detergent has a slight natural odor, but it isn’t offensive.
I have been cloth diapering for 9 months. The diapers were starting to get stinky and leaky. I researched cloth diaper safe laundry detergent for hard water because we have hard water here where we live.
I found Sport-Wash was recommended by several people and by cloth diaper companies, so I tried it. I has been wonderful! The diapers no longer stink and they appear to be more absorbent than they were before! Plus the waterproof diaper covers seem to be holding up much better, which means no more leaks! I love that I can just go to my local Walmart to buy this rather than having to order a more expensive cloth diaper detergent online.
My typical wash routine is like this – Cold prewash with a capful of detergent Hot wash Extra rinse Dry low It might take several washes for your diapers to stop stinking and leaking because this detergent works to strip the diapers of build up from other detergents.
However with continued use you should see an improvement in your diapers.
Powder detergent whitens whites while using active enzymes to break down and help remove stains. Quick-dissolving formula immediately starts dissolving even in cold water. Nonchlorine, oxygen-based bleach along with a unique bleach-activating system gives Ultra Tide with Bleach its effective, color-safe bleaching performance and leaves clothes virtually residue-free.
The powder detergent actually reduces chlorine in the wash to help keep your colors from fading. Tide plus Bleach is also concentrated with more stain-fighting power so you can use 1/3 less. Moisture-resistant carton means no worry about clumping, and it helps to keep the powder fresh and free-flowing.
We have been using original (boxed powder) Tide detergent for over 40 years, but I’m afraid we just can’t handle this new scent anymore. My husband has been saying to me that he noticed and felt and smelled something different with our Tide and I told him it was his imagination.
I have never been any fan of any scents/fragrances mostly due to my asthma, but I was used to the original (old) Tide. Our granddaughter helped us find this: Recently, we updated the formula for our Tide Original Powder, adding freshness technology for a nice scent during the laundry process and more scent after the clothes dry.
Our testing and research showed us this was a great addition. A PERFUME SYSTEM UPGRADE? So many people have so many different allergies and so many establishments are trying to adopt fragrance-free policies.
We understand that many folks like to smell like a bottle of fragrance and that’s why there’s Axe and Gain laundry detergent and other potent options. Couldn’t you have kept your foo-foo fragrances in your other products/models and LEFT ORIGINAL TIDE ALONE?? PLEASE GO BACK TO THE WAY THIS HAS BEEN FORMULATED FOR THE LAST FEW DECADES.
We have been soooooo disappointed in your re-formulation the last several months. Make it Tide ORIGINAL Powder Laundry Detergent again :-).
I will start by saying, my whole family has used Tide for over 30 years. Tide Original has been a comforting smell of home to me for as long as I can remember. When Tide changed the scent of the liquid Tide Original a couple of years ago, I called customer service to complain.
It was noxious, and way too potent, smelling up the entire house after a wash, even “when used as directed. ” The company thanked me for my feedback, and assured me I could still enjoy the old scent in Tide “mountain spring.
” I can’t find this anywhere at the stores in my town. Also, this means the “Tide Original” smell is far from Original. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Tide Original powder was pretty close to the actual Original smell.
We have happily used it since. I have always loved the effectiveness of Tide. Until the last box we purchased about a month ago. The first wash I took out of the machine hit me in the face with the scent.
It was like an air freshener in a public toilet, reminiscent of a urinal puck, complete with a hint of ammonia. I thought maybe something gross had gone through the wash in a kid’s pocket, and caused a weird reaction.
I washed the load again. It was worse. We’ve tried to get through the box by cutting the “Tide Original” with powder Tide Free and Clear. The results fluctuate between an awful, sickly, overly-sweet candy scent, and the aforementioned puck.
The laundry is so strong otherwise, we can’t stand it. This will unfortunately be my last box of Tide. I am fed up with changes to an “Original” formula I trusted, and now I have to wade through the market of detergents to find something that doesn’t give us headaches.
Tide, please listen to customer feedback, and leave “Original” scent as original! If you want to change the formula to give the scent a boost, then market it seperately as “scent boosted”!.
For the past couple decades, Tide Original has been the only laundry detergent I’ve been able to use that didn’t make me sick due to rare autoimmune disorders and fragrance allergies. The original sent was mild enough that it didn’t trigger any major reactions, and clothes after washed and dried did not have any lingering scents.
Today I opened the new box thinking it was the same one I had grown to love. Right away I was shocked at the difference in fragrance. Thinking it was my imagination, I proceeded to do a couple loads.
The wet clothes had an unpleasant odor, and when dried was even worse. I am in process of re-washing with baking soda and odor remover for the third time to try and get the scent out of the clothes. I went from a love to hate relationship in the blink of an eye.
I’ve been practically in tears since I just spent $60 on two of the giant boxes, and don’t know what I’m going to do to find another detergent. It’s not easy when you have problems with major sensitivities and allergic reactions to things like this.
Did you know know most laundry detergents contain enzymes? Basically, they’re digesting the dirt off your clothes! Unfortunately, these enzymes can also irritate skin. ATTITUDE’s Citrus Zest Laundry Detergent uses only natural, effective, hypoallergenic ingredients that are as gentle cleaning your clothes as they are on your skin.
No enzymes and 100% safe for your family, it has an energizing citrus scent and is formulated for both standard and HE washing machines, as well as cold water cycles.
Fill 2 caps (3 fl oz) for large loads and 1 cap (1.5 fl oz) for normal loads. For tough stains, pour a small quantity directly on stain and rub or allow soaking before washing. Always check labels for special instructions. Formulated for cold water.
Surfactants Derived from Corn and Coconut (Greater than 30%), Sodium Citrate (Less than 5%), Sodium Gluconate (Less than 5%), Essential Oils (Less than 5%), Water (Greater than 30%).
When it comes to an effective stain remover for your clothes, you know the solution is the one that you can trust in any circumstance. Tide Ultra Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent will give you the Tide clean you love, are used to, and more – every single time.
Now more concentrated to have more power per drop for better stain removal, Tide Ultra Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent is specifically designed to cover all your laundry needs. With more freshness and less water, it’s not only America’s number one detergent but also the number one recommended laundry detergent by leading washing machine manufacturers.
You can try it in top-load, front-load, and HE washing machines as well; the result will be the same. A quality Tide clean, fresh-smelling clothes with stains gone. If it’s clean, it’s got to be Tide.
If you like keeping it concentrated and effective, you should also try our small but powerful Tide PODS laundry pacs. Measure your loads with the cap.
I’ve been a longtime user of Tide with bleach. I work in a barn. A vet recommended this detergent to me years ago to effectively disinfect clothing and I used it ever since. I absolutely loved the clean, fresh smell.
I did my first load with a new bottle and the new scent instantly brought on a headache. Clothing was washed in warm water, DOUBLE rinse and still has a highly perfumed smell. What’s worse, is I can still detect barn odor under the perfume! It’s not cleaning, it’s masking.
And poorly so. I never detected any barn odor on clothing when using the old scent. As one of the more expensive detergents on the market, I’d trust it would be the best. I will not buy this product again and I’m also highly irritated that I now have a new bottle of detergent that is useless to me.
I cannot had this scent around me non-stop or I will be physically ill. And please, no defensive company response to this review. You made a horrible judgement call with this product and plenty of people have spoken out about it.
Accept and acknowledge it and restore the product people loved and trusted.
I have been a long time Tide consumer. I always look forward to Saturday morning wash day when I can use my Tide with Bleach to get everything fresh and clean again, especially my bedding. I recently purchased a new bottle of Tide with Bleach and washed my bedding this morning.
As soon as I took it out of the washer, I noticed the spicy scent. It smells like men’s cologne. I cannot tolerate the smell, it is suffocating and it gave me a headache. I work in a hospital where we cannot wear heavy scents as they may not be tolerable to our patients.
I cannot wash my work scrubs with Tide anymore. If I wanted to smell like a man I’d wear mens cologne and I certainly don’t want it in my bedding (neither does my husband for that matter) I won’t even be able to wear my own perfume.
Nothing like a woman smelling like a man! Please please please bring back the light pleasant CLEAN scent. The way laundry is supposed to smell!.
I used to have a stain treatment that was miraculous: Tide with Bleach Alternative, Oxyclean and Borax. Soak. Soak a lot. It got out nearly everything. For oily stains I used Dawn for pretreatment. Double rinse to get out the scents because I am sensitive to scents.
Then they changed the smell of all the Tides, and I just couldn’t stand it. But I had to donate all the clothes that I had washed in the new scented Tide because I couldn’t get the smell out. I washed them in baking soda, I soaked them in vinegar.
Everything smelled even WEEKS after I had used scented Tide. I even had to stop using my dry cleaner/laundry because it was bought out by Tide. Even though my husband’s shirts weren’t washed in scented detergent, they came back smelling like Tide! I couldn’t even go in the store because the smell is so overpowering.
If people want their clothes to smell, let them use those scented dryer products. Let the rest of us be scent-free in peace.

This detergent is one of the ONLY two laundry detergents i ever want to buy ever again. I have eczema that got crazy worseafter moving to Italy with very hard water. On top of that i had a lot of allergic reactions to things recently and we had tried a few different products that claimed to be “free and clear” that helped, but not completely and it wasn’t until I did some proper research myself that I figured out why.
It’s because many of those products that claim to be free of all these things still have the WORST ingredient in them; FRAGRANCE. That’s a known cancer causing ingredient btw and the chemicals that makeup the word fragrance are not regulated and you never know what each company uses to make that said fragrance.
What the heck right? Thank you to #thinkdirty and #ewg for being a resource to help me know what’s in my stuff! Think dirty take the credit here. This detergent runs a 2/10 on their toxicity scale and if you didn’t know, anything under a 3 is considered safe and non-toxic.
This is the lowest rated detergent I have found yet! Let me tell you, when I say this stuff worked I mean it made a WORLD of difference for my skin. And it doesn’t smell like something slightly weird it just smells like nothing, but it removes and stains or smells I have encountered with my laundry.
This is one I have no problem sharing because I want everyone to know their products and know what they can truly trust not just by what the bottle says, but by real experience from real people.
I’m in love not only with this product but with this brand. It has no artificial colors fragrances or stain fighters. It’s plant powered! I recieved three free samples though their program. They advertise about testing on 60 stain types.
I can reassure you clothes I’ve had for years looked almost new ❣ the scent is light and so realistic is smells like a day at the spa. 😍🥰😍🥰💝 [brand:seventh-generation].
While there are many different types of laundry detergent on the market, there are a few key things to look for when choosing a detergent for front load washers. First, look for a detergent that is designed specifically for front load washers.
These detergents typically have a higher concentration of active ingredients, which can help to get your clothes clean while using less water. Second, look for a detergent that is low sudsing. This means that it will not produce a lot of foam, which can damage your washing machine.
Finally, look for a detergent that is gentle on clothes. This will help to protect your clothes from damage and keep them looking their best.
