the desk is nice in a way that works for teens or a casual workspace. when you sit at the desk, everything is pretty much within reach on the shelves which is very convenient. took more time than effort to get it together, but i used my own tools and followed the directions every step of the way.

it seems sturdy and the design works well for any space that has even a slightly modern look. i like that it actually looked good in a carpeted space as well as a wood vinyl flooring space. it was neutral enough that it does not come off as too mascuine or feminine so everyone seems happy with the finished product.

I was a little concerned about the thin supports, afraid the desk would be flimsy, but it’s surprising not. If you tighten everything up properly, it’s very stable. There are ALOT of pieces, but the directions are pretty clear.

Just go slowly and pay attention to detail. It’s easy to miss a step. We went for the long configuration for my granddaughters to sit side by side for virtual learning. Still room for a printer between them.

All and all, very pleased.

I have no idea why the main photo is advertised as if it is a platform bed. There is no way a person could use this as is without a box spring. I bought it and bought wood to cut down to make proper slats for it to be used with just a matress.

The sides are made out of two pieces which are held together just by the leg. The middle of the bed also has a large gap where there is no support and due to the leg being taller than the lip that holds the slats, you can’t even add additional there.

Which makes absolutely no sense due to the middle carrying so much weight. The lip that holds the slats on the sides is screwed into the leather siding. So pretty well the whole thing is held up by the sides.

Overall I love this bed, the leather style is stamped well, it is a really dark brown with a black tone. It looks luxurious and feels sturdy for now. Hoping it holds out on me though.

The product is cheap. cheaper than most ‘big box Swedish meatball’ store products in both price and quality. It goes together fairly easily although the pictures included change direction/perspective and threw us off at one point.

Not a big deal just pay attention. Quality of the coating on the laminate is poor. Three spots (one large on top!) of bumps and roughness. The large one was right in the middle so the computer covers it.

I knew what I was buying – a cheap desk to hold a computer – but was a teeny bit disappointed with it still. You won’t even notice the problems once you’ve been using it. but DO NOT sit or lean on it heavily.

I wouldn’t buy it again but it is serving our purpose so. a three star review.

The table is good quality and robust for price, and fitted together well. Wood grain is realistic and solid feel. Although metal frame is light and thin metal, it is strong and well made. Once all bolted together, the table is heavy and sturdy.

Plenty of room on work surface for items.

I don’t ever review things, but this one was worth it. I love this desk. It is the perfect height and has exactly what I needed in terms of storage. I use them separately (desk is against one wall and the hutch is on the opposite wall), and I got two larger L-brackets to make the corner piece work as an extension of the desk.

The color is even better than I could have hoped for. Very much like the picture. Some of the drawers don’t line up just perfectly, but that might be my fault in the assembly process. Overall, it’s very sturdy and very heavy.

The assembly process was rather arduous, I will say. By myself, it took me about 4-5 hours to set everything up. But all you really need is a Phillips head screwdriver. It’s pretty cut and dry.

I bought this L-shape executive desk for my husband when he was started working at home during the pandemic. It’s not a big desk but it’s a perfect size for our home office. We also replaced our floor from the carpet to hardwood and the desk color is perfectly matching with the floor! It was a surprised gift for him.

Requires at least 3 hours. It is important to familiarize each part before starting the assembly. I say, a lot of thought and consideration was put by the manufacturer on this product to try to make the assembly process as smooth as possible from the consumer’s end.

I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a desk upgrade with the intention of multitasking. Space is just one of the highlights. The color and the clean lines are definitely a wonderful feature.

Top that with the good quality of the material, at a reasonable price, and you get one excellent value for a product. I’ll definitely consider the same brand for future office furniture needs.

Love the L-shaped desk it was easy to put together, according to my husband. It’s roomy enough & modern. I love the L-shaped desk for home office. I love the I’m working from home remotely and I have plenty of room on it for my two work monitors in on the other angled part of the desk I have a monitor from my personal let’s talk.

There’s even room on the corner for a printer if I want. I’m gonna leave it there for now until I look into getting the matching file cabinet. I’m always leery about buying furniture online but this was an awesome deal, I found a great online promo code and it was on sale.

Just moved into a new home so budget was a concern but this doesn’t even look like a budget type dessk. It was close to 300 before I bought it and with the sale on promo codes I was able to give myself the office I wanted.

It came intact nothing was broke. I love the finish of it it’s not too big and bulky but it gives me room to have an L shape set up Emma home office which is a bedroom and I still have plenty a room for two chairs a little table between it and area to walk around everything! I absolutely love it!.

Fortunately, it was worth it for me. I like the look of the desk, and the surface area and amount of storage available fit my needs well. Dimensions : While NFM has included the drawing with dimensions from the manufacturer in the image gallery, it leaves out some key information.

The depth of desk surface on each side is approximately 19 1/8 inches, and the pre-drilled grommet holes are approximately 2 inches in diameter. Each board that makes up the desktop is listed in the instructions as being able to hold 50 pounds each.

This works for me, but some shoppers out there may want to know this beforehand if their space requirements are different. Assembly : Using no power tools and taking my time, reading instructions twice, assembly took about 4 hours.

If you follow the directions, you assemble this upside down and then flip it over. The only portion that I found to be slightly frustrating was attaching the metal support bars that run between the legs on each side, since there’s nothing to hold them up until you get some of the screws in.

Aesthetic : The wood used here is MDF, for those of you whom are learning what that is for the first time (like I did) it is still particle board, but it is denser than a cheaper board would be. The few unfinished edges and the hidden cam holes didn’t have the huge air pockets and constant flaking I’ve experienced with cheaper particle board products.

The surface is a melamine paper, which has held up more than I expected after seeing the word paper there. Minor bumps and drops have not yet scratched it, but I have also been hesitant to test just how much abuse it can take.

Durability : I have only been using the desk for two weeks, so I cannot answer long term durability questions yet. So far though, it is holding up my junk and not making sounds like it’s creaking or stressing, which is about all I can ask of it.

I had a certain style and function in mind when I was ordering a desk for my new wfh arrangement and I nailed it with this one! Perfect dimensions just as stated on the site when I ordered it! It’s a well built and sturdy desk.

Although you certainly need two people to assemble it, the instructions were easy to follow. My only suggestion would be to advertise this better as being both a left or right sided desk so people know they have the option.

All pictures showed it to be a right sided desk which I needed but I only learned once I got the instructions that it can be assembled as a left sided desk.

If you use banker boxes or storage bins, this bookcase will not hold one. It also is not deep enough to hold a ring binder and be able to open the sliding door on the opposite side. The shelves give you 9 1/2″ in depth.

not 11 1/2″ which is listed as the depth of the cabinet. I hold myself responsible but as the first reviewer. I feel it best to leave this for the next buyer. If you just want an inexpensive piece of furniture for your limited home office set up, then this may work.

It is also a 2 man assembly project (at least to hold pieces and lift). Bookcase took one afternoon and the desk the following day. The quality is what I expected for an assemble yourself piece of furniture, although I have purchased better pieces.

This was for my home office and I am pretty easy on my furniture. Some minor blemishes here and there. The desk top is sturdy – a full inch of MDF with laminate. I would not recommend this for a business setting.

It was packaged well. It is pretty. It is sturdy. It can be built by one person without too much difficulty. The lift top leaves a lot to be desired. It holds a 15″-16″ laptop but add anything else – like the power supply or speakers – and it has two positions: fully up or fully down.

The “L” can only be as shown. If you need a different configuration, you cannot have it. Also, a bit expensive for “hecho en China. ” I would more willingly pay even a few dollars more for American-made.

My V2 Uplift desk is one of those times. I was unsure if a standing desk would help me deal with my recently developed sciatica but I was willing to give it a try after hearing from colleagues who have various standing desks.

The entire process from finding the desk that would suite my needs (and budget) to the delivery to the setup was extremely smooth and easy to do. I was a little concerned at first since it came in 6+ boxes and bending / lifting were very painful for me.

However my wife and I had no issues getting them into my home office. The video that showed one being set up in under 10 minutes was encouraging but I had no illusions I could do it anywhere near that quickly.

It took about 2 hours to unbox it all, verify all the parts were here and to fully assemble my desk with all of the extras. A big chunk of that time were frequent breaks to deal with my sciatica. If you do not have it or you do not order a ton of extras then you will likely take less than half that to assemble a fully loaded desk.

Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the quality of all the materials and how easy the assembly really was to do. Everything is extremely sturdy without you needing a forklift to move it. The assembly process is very easy to do solo.

I definitely recommend a second set of hands for some of the tasks like turning it over or lifting the desktop onto a good working surface where you don’t have to bend over. There were a lot of little touches that helped the V2 earn its 5 star rating.

Items such as the small handle to use with the hex wrench so I could easily tighten the bolts fully without killing my hands. Or the individual packaging of the assorted bolts and screws in very clearly labeled packets.

I am 6′ 6″ so my desk needs to be fairly high for me to use while standing. The V2 desk alone would reach where I needed it to be. I added the heavy duty casters since my desk was going to partially block access to a bookcase and I would need to occasionally pivot it out of the way.

That added plenty of extra height without making the desk too high when in the lowered position. The casters let me pivot the desk when either raised or lowered with little effort. When I lock them, the desk does not move around.

Adjusting the height is extremely easy. Just a tap of the control and it moves a little. After setting the raised height for me I just double tap the control and stand back. The desk moves very smoothly to where I need it.

There is very little sound when the desk moves up or down. There were a couple things that I found which slightly marred my overall impressions/experience. The cable tray feels a little flimsy. It is essentially a sheet of heat formed acrylic and not sheet metal like everything else.

However that is only a minor ding in my book since it is out of the way and not something I will interact with much now that the desk is assembled. The other negative are the cable holders for my monitor arm.

Neither I nor my wife could get them to go into the holes on the arms without breaking off. While a little frustrating, I simply replaced them with the adhesive cable holders I had left and problem solved.

Now that I have had time to adjust to using a standing desk I have to ask why these are not standard issue for all home (or work) offices! There are a ton of options to choose from and the desk is super easy to use desk, extremely sturdy (even when raised) and looks great.

I waited a while to post a review because I wanted to get all the accessories installed and work with the desk for a couple of weeks before settling on a final opinion. I have to say that Uplift exceeded my expectations for the entire experience of ordering, receiving, unpacking, assembling, and installing my desk.

I ordered a custom hardwood (walnut) top for my left-hand relief L-shaped desk with big ultra-thin keyboard tray and quick adjust mount, CPU tower holder, two power receptacle grommets and the crestview dual monitor arm.

Immediately after ordering, I was contacted by David Martinez in customer service with a note that my custom order was going to take longer to fulfill and was I okay with that or did I want to change the order.

I worked with David for a period of about a week and ultimately decided to let it ride and wait for the higher quality real wood top. He provided really excellent and responsive customer service and made me feel like I made the right decision with my choice of company for this desk.

After receiving a lot of boxes, I put it off for about a week and then finally broke into the pile on a weekend. It took quite a bit of time to assemble everything – I’d estimate a total of about 8 hours total over a couple of days, but I was going very slow and reading the directions very carefully – even then, I made two mistakes and had to undo something before moving on.

The instructions are VERY well done – just read carefully and follow exactly. I found one or two places that the directions could be improved but nothing significant. I did what the instructions said and counted every component and fastener to check the inventory before starting assembly (I’ve been burned before) and I did find that one of the control cables was not in the package.

Customer service to the rescue – David had the issue taken care of and arranged for the parts to be shipped immediately – they haven’t arrived yet, but I found that I was still able to complete the setup because the control box is close enough to the corner leg that the short cable worked to connect it for now.

The fit of the parts, pre-drilled mounting holes in the desktop, quality of the fasteners, and overall design of the components is extremely high quality with robust, heavy gauge materials and exact machine design so everything fits together just right as the directions show.

I was very impressed with the construction. I’ve been using the desk now for a couple of weeks raising and lowering a few times a day to walk on my treadmill, stand and work, etc. and it is incredibly smooth and quiet to operate.

I love the one touch presets I can program into the advanced comfort keypad. Summary: this is a very high-quality desk made with robust materials and construction and the design details are very well thought out and executed.

I am impressed with the entire experience and the look and quality of the product. I will definitely recommend this company to friends, family and co-workers.

I am very pleased with this desk. The finish on it is really swell and I love the color. It’s a beautiful piece for my home office, and I was able to put it together myself with little trouble (except for standing it upright; I needed a helping hand for that final bit).

If you need a desk that has space for both your desktop computer and printer with LOTS of room to spare, this desk will meet your needs nicely.

Nice and sturdy! The cutouts for cords were a bit useless in my case but still a great desk overall. Storm grey looks a lot better in person than online (the images make it seem more like a grayish brown color vs the medium-dark gray it actually is).

Great piece of furniture, heavy, yes, however, coming in two boxes made it manageable. It looks great in my home studio/office. It will take you a bit of time to put together, but don’t be deterred, take your time, and a deep breathe.

The instructions seem daunting, I recommend you look through every step to familiarize yourself with the steps. It is not as many pages/steps as it appears since 20 something pages in you make the choice of what side you want your keyboard tray, right or left.

I chose right side. Each of those sections are about 15 pages. Also, they have a French version as part of the booklet, increasing the appearance of lots of steps. The reviews made it seem like an overwhelming task, but if you have put together any furniture in the past, that is slightly complex, expect about 4-5 hours.

When I opened the boxes I compared every piece to the directions as well as inspected each piece for defects, since I was informed they world not take back a partially built piece. Keep the packaging until the final connection (you would need to pull it apart if you wanted to return it) It took me 4.

5 hrs to put it together, alone ( my wife helped me flip the pieces right before connecting them together) while I was watching a movie or two on my phone, I took my time going slow and steady, and only had to fix one minor step, forgot the pegs! I started Saturday evening, for 2.

5 hrs, then completed it Sunday morning. Overall not a bad process, as long as you don’t freak out and check everything before hand.

I would not even give 1 start. They don’t qualify for 1 start either. Don’t every buy from this sellers. This seller is fricking Drop shipper, and they don’t own any product neither they know any details about product such as instruction, missing parts.

Missing parts and no labels on bunch of board. I have been trying to assemble this desk and appear couple of parts are missing. Also, there was no labels on bunch of board and poor instructions. I am half way to assemble and now cannot move forward because of missing some boards and cannot find label as per instruction.

I almost spent good 8 plus hours to assemble this desk and such a waste of time. Desk is hard to put together. It took more than 8 hours. Also, they didn’t include the labels on bunch of boards, and bottom part for drawer and main standup board missing.

I haven’t been able to finish putting together because they are missing parts. Not the kind of hassle you want when you paying over $600 for a piece of furniture. Thank you, Arvind.

We are under lockdown, as the rest of the world so decided to finally turn the spare room to an office, with all this free time I had looked at a bunch of site with desks, and concluded for our needs we had to go with an L shape.

I had looked at what seems to be a bazillion desks online, but kept coming back to this one. First off, this is a very large unit. Even with doing the measurements in an empty room, I hadn’t visualized it as this big.

This isn’t a complaint, just an observation. It is made by Sauder, which is out of Ohio, the instructions are well laid out, and humorous in areas (reminding you to refill your cocktail or feed your friend pizza at certain stages) all the holes lined up, the screws and other pieces were laid out in an easy to get to plastic pocket.

But be prepared for a full day for assembly. I saw on another site, 10 hours, and my guess is, that is probably pretty close, even by someone assembling Sauder furniture in the past, as we have other pieces by them.

It is extremely heavy, so make sure, you have a place to put it where it will not be moved, as it will most likely live there forever, unless of course you want a divorce because I’m sure rearranging this after installation would cause one.

It looks very expensive, except for the top. The top looks rather cheap but my work office has a similar desk in real wood, and I’m constantly scratching it, with stapled paper, etc, where as I’m sure this will hold up much better in the long run.

It is manufactured wood, so basically covered particle board but it is heavy and well made. It will surely serve us for years to come. The brick also had competitive pricing on this, delivered it to our door in 2 days (under self isolation so they don’t come inside which we liked) a totally painless purchase considering you can’t go out shopping with the strange virus effecting the world.

Bought the desk and hutch. Desk went together fine, although a couple of steps could be changed to make assembly easier, plus given the size and weight of the desk, its not practical to reserve certain steps till the end that require access to the rear of the assembled unit.

This means the entire desk would have to be moved into final position. As for the hutch, i was shipped an incorrect part that prevents assembly. Its on backorder and could take over 2 weeks to get the part.

So the hutch is not in place. Lastly, the brackets that secure the hutch to the desk mount to the back if the desk. I cannot imagine having to move this huge L-shaped desk with a huge hutch on top of it into position after installing the hutch.

It really needs a way to fasten it to the desk from the top while the desk is already against the wall.

It was time to replace my 1950’s desk at work with something a little more functional for today’s office needs. I wanted to buy a desk just like the one I have at home, but it’s 10 years old and is no longer in production.

This one is VERY similar, but of a slightly higher quality. There are a few features that could/should be added, however, in order to make it a five-star desk: (1) The lower cabinet on the left side would be much more useful if it had an adjustable shelf or two in it; (2) the open slots on the left and right side of the lower section would be much more useful as drawers, rather then just open slots; (3) I ended up shopping for and purchasing a slide-out, under-the-desk keyboard & mouse tray to free up desktop space and to be able to type more comfortably; (4) I also ended up purchasing an under-the-desk 14″ Width x 1-1/2″ Height x 14-1/2″ Depth utility drawer for pens/pencils, scratch pads, phone message pads, scissors, etc.

(like most desks have over the lap area). Overall, it’s a great workspace! (I also put it together by myself with no problems. I only needed help to lift the hutch up on top of the desk once it was assembled.

I bought this to store my weights, kettle ball, etc. it is rustic which works in my loft. It has a strong odor which I imagine will dissipate. It is great for my needs. which is why this is definitely an oadu.

I’m really impressed. It’s a beautiful box trunk. And perfect for my needs. A very nice organic elegance too. Shipping was super quick.

The chair itself is okay, but one leg is much shorter than the others. I tried putting one of those sticky pads underneath but it didn’t do anything. Went to the store and bought adjustable feet. Have to drill a hole and put together.

Hope it works! I measured and it’s 1/2″ shorter than the other legs!! The wicker is okay, although it is more stiff/brittle than my other chairs. Disappointing!.

I have been looking for a white desk with storage for the longest time and this is the only one that I could find. I’m very happy with the overall look of the desk. The assembling of the desk was very hard.

I asked my dad and fiancé to assemble it and they are both engineers. They felt the instructions weren’t clear and messy. It took over a day to assemble the desk all together as there was a lot of guessing.

The edges of some pieces were chipped or missing some paint. The black pieces I was able to correct with a marker but the white pieces there’s nothing I can do. I’m assuming the pieces were already like this as there was no damage on the box when I received it.

The finish is very good but the instructions are heavily misleading !!! A lot of unclarities and misleading steps which forces to desassemble and re-assemble correctly. Also, one of the hardware was completely missing, so had to wait two weeks to receive, the whole entry hall was a message cuz all the parts were unpacked.

Anyway. Not convenient for the assembling part, quality is also not really there. 3 stars though cuz of the nice finish design.

We love this L-Shaped desk so much we bought 3 and I’m scratching the web to find one more!! It is sturdy and very well designed. The fact that I can work standing on 100% of the surface is a live saver.

Even though the bookcases are a bit flimsy it’s not a real issue for us as we work mostly online and they are used to store things we don’t use everyday. Putting it together is not a one man job, so grab yourself a handy friend and take your time.
