LOVE LOVE LOVE! Ladies!! If you love a sweet drink, this is the best drink ever! And let me tell you, there are other flavors that are just as amazing (but harder to find)! This is my favorite wine ever! It is so sweet and yummy and it has a nice alcohol content to me! grab a glass, have this chilled.
Sip and enjoy! This is def my favorite wine along with the other varieties of it!.
We use Manischewitz at Church for after Communion. We’ve tried other sweet wines, but we come back to Manischewitz. I personally have priced this wine at grocery stores, and this wine is cheapest at TotalWine.
When one buys a case at a time, the price difference can be substantial.
Something is terribly wrong with Manischewitz Concord Grape wine with bar code beginning with 85976. There is no other way to say it than this new batch tastes terrible! Have bought this wine for decades and always experienced the familiar consistent, reliably pleasant sweet taste we have all come to expect and celebrate on Shabbat and holidays.
Purchased three different bottles of this batch at two different markets in the past 2 weeks, each having bar code beginning with 85976, and all three tasted absolutely terrible. The taste was so bad, you wanted to immediately purge it from your mouth on the first sip.
Manischewitz needs to correct whatever happened before they loose their loyal customers.
The Moscato grape is naturally rich in perfumes, and the production of this wine is geared towards preserving these aromas in the finished wine. Only the best grapes are used, and fermentation takes place at a low temperature in order to craft a wine with fresh, peachy perfumes and light, grapey fruit.
Ideal on its own, as an aperitif, or with fruit or light deserts. Serve chilled and drink young.
Contains sulfites. Government Warning: (1) According to the surgeon general, women should not drink alcoholic beverages during pregnancy because of the risk of birth defects. (2) Consumption of alcoholic beverages impairs your ability to drive a car or operate machinery, and may cause health problems.

I was trying to find a moscato that tasted like the one in the Italy pavilion at Disney Worlds Epcot. And this is pretty much spot on, if not the actual one they serve! It’s so smooth and sweet. No tangy tartness to it.
Very bubbly and refreshing. My forever go to, I believe I’ve purchased 5 bottles now.
The wine was good but weak. I purchased it through the Target Drive Up app mainly bc the description said it was 14% alcohol and I wanted to try something new. When I got it the bottle says 5% alcohol.
Tastes like kool-aid. Next time I’ll stick to Sutter Home for moscato.
Israel- Made from grapes grown in the Galilee region, this blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet has the smoothness and structure characteristic of fine quality. Aged in American oak, it will improve over the next two to three years.
Serve it with beef stew or other hearty meat dishes. Israel, Galilee.
I was feeling adventurous due to my son’s challenge for me to look for wines from not so popular regions of e world. And I ended-up in Israel. Well, no wonder the Cannaan wedding made it into history, silly meThis wine is amazingly consistent with every sip.
Brillat Savarin was wrong, this wine does not mollify your palate after the second glass. If you are looking for an alternative to bodied merlots Ben Ami is a great choice.
The sweet tasting Manischewitz Blackberry kosher wine is quite delicious albeit almost syrupy in its style. The wine’s appealing flavors make it very good by itself.
Believe me when I say it works. Blackberries have been shown to have medicinal properties for the colon. And trust me, it really works. If I have an upset stomach, I get a glass of this, and within minutes I feel my stomach relaxing.
No other wine works this fast in my experience. May not be my goto for wine drinking, but for stomach pain, I always keep this stocked.
This is absolutely the best for Passover. It is even tasty through the rest of the year. Once we stumbled on the blackberry, we never went back to the grape flavor.
The 2018 Yarden Pinot Gris displaces aromatic notes of green apple, nashi pear, citrus zest, floral spice and mineral. This medium bodied wine is dry, fresh and powerful. Try pairing with seared salmon, yakitori or spaghetti carbonara.

This Italian winery takes its name from one of the most celebrated Jewish winemakers. The Rashi winery is very proud of the method in which the grapes are selected by the master Italian vintners, who then take extreme care in the fermentation of the wine in huge oak casks.
The wine room today is as it was generations ago, with the old oak casks lined up imperiously along faintly lit corridors. Rashi winery, adjusted to the needs of an ever more demanding and selective market, in which quality is an essential constant, a pre-requisite for a flawless, stable, homogeneous product.
This means state-of-the-art equipment, and access to the most appropriate technologies. The new look, which stands alongside the old, rather than in its place, is one of shiny steel, and electronically-controlled, automatic processes, for past and future living together in a dynamic, efficient present capable of taking on the toughest competition in the acquisition of new markets.
Rashi also produces quality wines from the great new wine regions of New York and California.
Lovely wine! Great cold or room temperature. Very easy on the pallet. Perfect amount of sweetness which I love. It’s not overbearing in the sweet department. Great with beef, chicken, fish or pasta. Affordable price.
Gorgeous dark color. A very nice wine that is classy and gives a me a great buzz 😁 Nice to drink after a stressful day/celebration events or as a gift. Very pleased and I recommended this beautifully tasting wine.
I found this wine very good, but a bit sweet for what I expect from a Claret. It does go well with spicy food (we had with Mexican food), and it is great for after-dinner. Does pair excellently with Chocolates.

IšverstiShow in original languageNot the same product, but same brand. This was by far the best sweet wine I’ve ever tasted. I’m not a huge wine drinker, and don’t buy super expensive brands usually.
Not a connoisseur by any means, but this was so good!! It was under $20, so super affordable, and I could have downed the bottle myself, had I not been sharing with my sister! 😁. Mix between a standard wine and a wine cooler.
IšverstiShow in original languageI’m a wine kind of woman, so I rarely get disappointed, but I do enjoy this wine. I recently really got into white wines (never drank them cause they seemed basic) but now I know why everyone enjoy a good pinot grigio.
It’s sweet and full of flavour. I’d recommend a try for all the skeptics, like I was.
IšverstiShow in original languageBelieve it or not I use this to make sauces. It has a distinct taste that pops when u add it w cheese of course n a semi sweet flavor when u add basil n garlic. But its also great to sip while cooking.
Not too expensive and its at almost every kroger and walmart I’ve been too.

Hey, I recently purchased your 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon with the expectation that it would be more dry. It was horribly sweet and I was extremely dissatisfied. The bottle itself states that the flavor is well balanced though it is not.
It taste like grape juice. This wine producer has no standards. Unacceptable. Would not purchase again.
Love, love if you are a connoisseur of wines you might not like this. I love this wine because it’s just a tiny bit dry but plenty of sweetness. The perfect combination for my palate
I was shopping in a mini mall near my house in Westchester and stopped into a liquor store which was not large, but the layout was well done and inviting. This wine was a wonderful find! The way it finishes, reminds me of a fine cognac- so mellow and warm- like an embrace almost.
And the price of this wine is what I would easily treat myself to by getting one exquisite chocolate bar from Switzerland from a shop at Rockefeller Center. There is literally joy all around us, it is always in those small moments.
Rich flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and hints of ripe cherry are prominent in this slightly effervescent wine. Bartenura Brachetto is wonderful as an aperitif, with cheeses, and light entrees. Best served chilled.
This wine is my ABSOLUTE favorite wine. The first wine I find that I liked was the Bartenerua Moscato and then I worked my way up to this one. Amazing brand, amazing wine! The flavor is fantastic and no headaches!.
All Manischewitz Wines are made and bottled under the strict Rabbinical supervision of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America. All of our fine products carry the mark of quality that signifies adherence to Orthodox Union guidelines.
This sweet and fruity wine has the aroma of freshly picked ripe Peaches. Warm days and cool nights during the growing season allow the wine to maintain ripe grape aromas and crisp acidity. The fruitiness of fresh Peaches allows this wine to be served chilled as an aperitif.
The wine goes wonderfully with fruit salads and peach based desserts.

This wine is from Italy, Apulia region, Salento sub-region. Dark cherry, plum and cassis flavors, with rich cinnamon, herb and coffee notes. Full flavored grilled or sauced chicken, spicy fish dishes, or fruity desserts.
Wonderfully light and flavorful. Purchased by mistake, thought I had grabbed two Bartenura Sweet Reds… pleasant error. Adding to my selection of wine. Great choice!!

Reviews From Real Customers
The simple way to describe this wine is consistent. Good bang for your buck. Good flavor. But not the “best” wine out there. Perfect wine for your Friday night relaxation or even with a steak dinner.
You can’t go wrong and will be glad you purchased.
I was pleasantly surprised by this wine since it is on the cheaper side (under $20). I bought this wine for Passover since it is kosher. I am slowly getting into red wine and find this one to be full bodied with some notes of fruit.
The wine is a favorite amongst my red wine drinking friends. It’s a little too dry for me but I’m happy to pour myself a glass of it when it’s available.
Manischewitz Concord Grape is a red wine from American in the United States, available for purchase. Size: 3. 0 L, Varietal: Concord, Vintage: NV, Country: United States, Rating: Unrated, Producer: Manischewitz.
My mother introduced us to this wine when I was a child. It will be at home for special occasions which was very rare but I never forgot the taste. It will aways be one of my favorites. It is almost as drinking grape juice but with alcohol.
TRADITION! That is what I have to say. It was the first wine I ever tasted as a kid and still buy it today for Passover. It brings back memories not because it is good wine but because it is TRADITION.
I can’t have Passover without it. Grape is my favorite.
Manischewitz is the kind of wine you drink when you don’t like the taste of alcohol but want to get a buzz. This wine is very sweet and tastes straight up like grape juice. It’s very delicious. It can be drank on its own or used as a mixer.
It’s definitely not one of those wines you buy when you want to drink an entire bottle of wine. A glass or two, sure but the whole bottle will probably make you sick to your stomach.
This wine is from Italy, Piedmont region, Asti sub-region. Alcohol 7. 5%. Light rose color, with a delicate fragrance and sweet taste. Goes well with fruit, cheese and desserts. A splendid, festive wine to complete a meal.
This is really delicious! I usually don’t like sweet wines but the bubbly-ness helps balance out the sweet. It’s not overpowering with sweet or bubbly- just enough of both. It has a fruity taste and is really easy to drink.
This is the best priced Moscato I have tasted. It is light and refreshing and not too strong. I actualluy make Mimosa with them for brunch. Give it a try, it is also way cheaper at Total Wine.

this was 1 of the only wines I drank when I was younger. & I found it in a California grocery store, after buying it for a few months. they stopped selling it,I don’t know why but a few months ago I found it in New York.
& had to have it shipped to me. shipping is very pricey. but what isn’t anymore, I enjoy a glass from time 2 time. if you’re not a wine drinker & would like 2 try 1 or if you like sweet wines. red or white this might be the 1 for you just saying.
im not a drinker but a glass of this nice & cold is it. 4 me.
Brittney went out of her way to help me secure a case of this wine! I had been having trouble securing this particular brand and she took my name and called me back with the good news that she was able to locate it for me! Brittney was both efficient and professional.
She made me feel like my satisfaction was a top priority to the company!.

Love this wine! It’s smooth and creamy. If you drink it fresh from the bottle it’s sweet with a slightly acidic finish. If you let it breathe in your glass for a bit before enjoying, it’s sweeter and finishes sweet as well.
As my grandmother used to say man oh Manischewitz!.
I’ve always enjoyed this brand been buying it for YEARS. HOWEVEF, I thought I was buying 12 of the smaller bottles to my surprise, it was 12 of half gallon bottles!!! I can give several as gifts, and still have more than enough for my use.
I only drink one small glass occasionally. It is delicious!!.
I bought this wine based off the reviews because I typically like a sweet wine (Moscatos, white zinfandel, rosé, chardonnay, sweet reds/pinks, stella Rosa, Cardinal red) but I didn’t think it would be as sweet as it is.
For perspective, sangria is a milder sweet. First sip caught me off-guard. Flavor-wise it is not bad but I had to dilute it with water. It’s a perfect wine for a non-wine drinker who likes fruity mixed drinks.

It’s a great sweet wine with a pleasant smooth aftertaste. A fruity wine with plenty of grape flavor. Slow slips are the way to go to savor the flavor of this wine. After 2 glasses, I was done haha. I enjoyed it and would purchase it again.
It was only $8. 99 at my local wine spirits store.
Love love this wine. One of the first brand of red wine I was introduced to. I love the sweet aroma taste as it hits my taste buds. I definitely recommend.
A bar staple and early drinker fond memory. If you love a sweet wine that doesn’t leave a bad aftertaste, this is for you. Pairs well with most meals. Very affordable too.
This wine is from United States, New York region, Central New York sub-region. A full-bodied sweet but balanced wine. Aroma and taste is reminiscent of fresh baked cherry pie.
This wine tasted more like prunes than cherry to me. It has a strong prune (or I guess over-ripe cherry) taste with a lot of sweetness that somewhat masked the bitter, strong, cheap alcohol lingering behind it.
Of course it tasted very cheap, which pricewise it is. I will say though that once I got past the initial cloying taste of “cherry” and past the strong bitter alcohol, I just kept sipping it. It can be a little addictive.
I guess that’s why it’s known for promoting hangovers the next day. In summary, I know it’s a Jewish wine and an important Jewish family tradition, which is usually served at a seder. But to those who are not used to things like this and are looking for a “cherry” alcoholic beverage, you might not realize that it’s basically a really sickeningly sweet juice with strong, cheap alcohol in the background.
Many people probably enjoy it more out of nostalgia than out of actually liking it that much. I could be wrong, though.
I am so glad that I found this somewhere I could purchase. I don’t drink often, but when I do, I would like to drink this, sweet cherry wine. It is so difficult to find cherry wine, and even harder to find sweet cherry wine.
Our local grocery store has a winery and i found Grape Manischewitz wine there, but not the cherry. I was given a site to search for the nearest location I could find this wine, and I’d have to drive to Philadelphia.
For some reason, unknown to me, even though the online tool is supposed to allow you to have it delivered to your local store if you find it in a store in the state, the online tools displays a message about being unable to transport to to my local store.
Shipping costs a bundle, but it is worth it every once in a while.
I have bought this on several occasions. Initial flavor was great because I did not know what to expect. After taste is real good. Does not leave that old grape taste like some do. Not as sweet as Concord grape or Blackberry.
Mogen David is Americas Classic Wine since 1933. Perfect for gatherings and to be shared amongst family and friends, Mogen David is available in three tasty, sweet flavors: Concord, Blackberry and Pomegranate.

IšverstiShow in original languageSo good!! I was looking for a slightly different flavor than my go to. I think I’ve found it? Very yummy! Sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet. Smooth and rich. It is an awesome compliment to chocolate or a decadent meal! A great price at $10.
IšverstiShow in original languageThis wine is so yummy! This was my first drink I ever had! This is a family favorite for sure my grandmother only drinks this one and it is the one I had my first sip of! It is sweet but not overly sweet.
Its doesnt have the after taste, you can make it into a slushy if you wanted to. It pairs very well with red meats. And the price is unbeatable! You can buy it at walmart or any liquor store and never disappoints! Will always be a go to for any occasion! I recommend you try it if you havent already!.
