To remove from box. Open bottom remove base in its cardboard box remove the styrophome bottom turn the box so that the front/grills are facing up and slide the speaker out onto carpet/rug or a big towel.

set on top and you will see four pilot holes in the bottom for screws take the base and the four screws that you will find at the top of the box taped down near the mostly useless instruction manule.

try to align the thicker part of the base wedge to the front side of the speaker if you want them to lean slightly up when flipped over. (there are also four spikes that can be fastened into the base after the base is secured to the bottom of speaker if you need four spikes to grab at whatever you are putting them on like I don’t know full shag carpet or some such.

They are back ported so keep them a bit from the back wall might try toeing them in a bit too. (worked for us) These speakers handled everything well music wise we threw at them starting with mild music [“formerly” The Rifle (tucson), Elephant Revival] straight up rock [Queensryche] DUB [Warsaw vs.

Stucky DUB confrontation] and singer songwriter [Sixto Rodriguez] plus a little Cyndi Lauper thrown in for good measure. I would Highly Recommend these speakers especially when the cherry goes on sale if it works for your room.

driving them with an Optimus 100 wat per each two channel reciever that if six oclock on the volume is off between seven and eight is plenty loud enough. YMMV These efficient speakers are known to sound good at mid to low volume and I like that.

Bought these speakers as replacement for older yamaha floorstanders and it is a BIG leap forward. I usually listen to metal and rock, but jazz, electronics and classical music are also quite common – these speakers definitely doing impressive job.

Especially on high frequencies – absolutely amazing level of details and granularity – I was blown away! This horn technology definitely doing some magic! I would suggest to slightly toe-in speakers to the center of sweet spot – brings better stage and you will not miss any details (that is specificality of horns to be directional).

Easthetics are georgeous to my taste (yeah, you either like it or hate it). I opted in for this model because I already had subwoofer before and didnt need any reinforcement on low-end from frontal speakers.

But if you are hi-fi purist who does not accept subs, I would recommend to look towards model with 8 woofers. Speakers paired with Denon DRA-800h stereo receiver and this combination works exceptionally well.

Fast, detailed sound, no nuances missed. Totally recommend!.

Don’t get me wrong, I love these speakers. The presentation of the veneer, the color contrast without the covers, just beautiful. I guess I just expected more in the sound department – They are very very good speakers, and I’ve listened to all different music on them, but I just feel like I’m not getting the wow feeling I thought I would.

Being a musician maybe I’m being too critical for the price range, and I can’t exactly put my finger on what it is. Maybe I need to break them in more and get more accustomed. As with all reviews take mine with a grain of salt and form your own opinion.

Maybe they’ll grow on me and I can come back and give the full five stars.

I was looking to replace my 13 year old HT speakers to complement my recently acquired Sony XBR65X950H TV and Denon AVR-X470H AVR. After extensive research I decided on these Klipsch RP-8000F I was at first drawn to them because of something trivial like the copper cones.

They look good with the magnetic grills removed which is a neat feature neither of which has anything to do with sound reproduction. The 8000’s are well built and really heavy With the well designed somewhat flared Cast Aluminum feet, these speakers are very stable The Sound: What a pleasing difference between my old speakers and these 8000’s, and there should well be.

Clarity and openness first caught my attention. Familiar tracks exhibited a freshness that to me was noticeable. I was streaming Luke Cage (filled with many Bass heavy segments) and after a while I noticed that my Sub was turned off.

There was plenty of Bass coming from each speaker. Turning the Sub on made a less noticeable difference compared to my old setup, well that is until a room rumbling rift comes along. Some may even get by without a Sub, but I like the added feel of the combination together.

These 8000’s do need a little break-in time. 4 days after initial automated Audyssey calibration I Re-calibrated with Audyssey and noticed a 1 to 1. 5 db drop in speaker levels. I am very pleased with this purchase especially at 25% off.

These came double boxed from and were in pristine condition.

I bought these gems about 2 week ago. From the start I could hear so much improvement in the sound quality. After the break in period much better sound! Highs are crisp, mids are smooth, bass is full but not overbearing.

Running them with my Denon AVR3700 and a good match up. Waiting for a good chance with the Atmos. 9. 1. 2 setup. For the price these are faultless.

This is my second pair of Klipsch Front speakers. Last year I bought Klipsch R-26PF (Powered Bluetooth) speakers and I love them. Great sound, and Bass is decent as well. Therefore, I decided to replace my Front Polk T50’s with Klipsch R-26FA Dolby Atmos Speakers.

I’ve paired Klipsch R-26FA Dolby Atmos Speakers with: – Klipsch R25C center – Klipsch R-15M bookshelf speakers – Klipsch K-112SW 12in subwoofer and powering them with Denon AVRX2400H 7. 2 receiver. Wired everything with InstallGear 14 Gauge AWG Speaker Wire.

So far everything runs great and I love the final sound results.

Despite my brother raving about Klipsch speakers for years, and a well known YouTuber review – my gut said don’t spend $1200 on Klipsch speakers. I should have followed my gut. The 8000s are C+ speakers if you’re wanting audiophile quality.

If you aren’t that picky about how instruments are presented realistically, but just like loud? Then you’ll probably like these. The speaker box itself could do with with some reinforcement and deadening material within, because it’s hollow like a cheap box when you knock on it – and yes, that timber colors the sound.

I toggled these in my living room against Polk 705’s, both powered with a vintage Sony STR 7065. The difference was easily discerned. The 705s while not as loud (but loud enough for my taste) we’re drastically more refined, detailed, musical and engaging.

The Klipsch were more punchy and loud. Next I moved them into the media room to compare them against original stacked Advents – powered with a vintage Technics SA600 receiver. The Advents were better sounding, fuller, more realistic – hands down – wasn’t close.

I’d stay away from these. I’ve since put them up for bid and will take a loss – the price of a lesson learned.

The service was excellent. I purchased this product on the recommendation of audiophile YouTuber Andrew Robinson. Sadly, I was duped. The Klipsch plays loud, but it’s just “okay” sounding. It’s not bad, but I certainly would not consider it audiophile grade.

Overall it’s a solid C+. Is it a harsh horn tweeter – actually no. Is it a mid-range hole, no – that seems okay. But knock on the box. It’s HOLLOW – HOLlow- hollow. Does that cheap hollow box make a cheap hollow timber? Yes it does.

I toggled this speaker against (granted a more expensive) Polk 705. It was a drastic difference of clarity, detail and lifelike; and I didn’t want it to be. I wanted the Klipsch to be different but good.

So, then I moved the Klipsch to the media room to toggle them against a vintage pair of staked original Advents (powered with a vintage Technics SA-600, 70 WPC). Well, again, the stacked Advents were demonstrably more enjoyable; more real with a more round and complete sound.

If you’re a DJ these are good for a small venue. I’ve put them up for sale with an online auction site. I think people will tire quickly once the novelty of having something new wears off, and the ho-hum reality of their sound settles in – then they’ll be tons of these on the used market for less then half of what people paid new.

These speakers are nice but you need to purchase a subwoofer to enjoy the small 8 inch woofers. I can say I have been spoiled listening to my KG5. 5 since 1997 with 2 10 inch subs thats exactly what these speakers need to be perfect in my opinion.

I have placed them in the rear and will continue to run my Klipsch KG5. 5 with the 15 inch subwoofer I bought to enhance the 2 RP 800 F I purchased. Klipsch can do better in my opinion the design is slick, just missing that stand alone boom with these 8 inch woofers.

The Horns are amazing new technology. I am running a 160 watt Onkyo to power my system together. I live in a house not an apartment so I can crank it up. This is just my opinion but I think they would be perfect for a smaller space.

I am slightly disappointed but still love the price for a poor man’s budget. I purchased these speakers on sale during black Friday. I have been playing Klipsch speakers in my house since 1997 and still believe this company provides quality sound service just not up to par on this product.

Absolutely love these Klipsch RP-8000F speakers!!! 1st off, once again the service from Safe & Sound was fantastic! Speakers were shipped in all original packaging and enclosed in an additional box, speakers arrived in mint condition!! The sound of these beautiful speakers are awesome!! The imaging is superb! The horns are crisp without being brash.

The dual 8″ woofers do a great job alone. These completed my 5. 1 system, which includes the Klipsch RP-504C for the center, RP-500M for the surround and for now the Klipsch R-80SWi wireless subwoofer.

All paired together it simply kicks in every possible way!! It’s all driven through a Denon AVR-X4000 which is more than capable of delivering the goods through the system. Everyone that has heard my new system are just blown away by the clean, clear sounds all the way through the volume levels.

Once again I will say, do not hesitate to purchase “open box” speakers though these guys!!! Will definitely not be my last order and can’t wait to get the next set of speakers, as I work my way to a 9.

2. 4 system!! Klipsch-Keepers Of The Sound!!.

I wanted analytical, precise and warm sounding speakers to play everything from Classical to Jazz, from House to Future Funk, from Rock to the harshest Metal and live sessions. The whole scale pretty much.

– The speakers also had to drive low, as I live in a flat and didn’t want to get myself evicted by buying a Subwoofer. After spending a good five hours listening to various speakers in a shop, I was instantly hooked from the get-go as I heard the RP-8000F.

How can these blow away competition that costs 2-3 times these and still be so precise? The analytical depth was out of this world at this price point. – For two hours I hammered everything I could at them and they came out without breaking a sweat.

I was left with a smile on my face and frankly I felt like I didn’t need anything except these two, a powerful Stereo Amp(to crank 100% out of them), and my days after work would be saved. I made the decision on the spot.

Bought two and frankly if I’ll ever go up from here, it’s going to be the RF-7 III, or something from Klipsch. – Now you might ask how do these big towers work in a small flat? Perfectly. The big size of the drivers allow the music to “fill the air” across the flat.

With the powerful amp, low volume allows you to play them “quiet”, but as its making a lot of air move even with low volume, the music fills the room precisely thanks to the broad listening angles. The music comes out in such high quality, that even without sound-deadening, the “small room acoustics” seem to have been taken in to account when these have been engineered.

You don’t need to drive these hard to make them sound great. – For example: The Jazz live sessions sound like they’re playing in my room, literally. You can hear every slide of the guitar, the bass caressing your skin with shivers, sax clear as the sky thanks to the speaker’s superb horn, and as the vocalist sings the mellow blues, it’s very personal.

– Having owned them for two months I had to ask from my neighbors if they’ve heard anything, and nada. Nothing at all. Thank you, Klipsch! I didn’t know this high quality speakers would be even possible at this price range!.

I really love movies and for years I’ve have only purchased surround systems in a box. I never was really into audio. more into picture quality HD, Full HD, UHD etc. I had never heard of Klipsch before but as I was scrolling through slick deals one day I stumbled across a Klipsch home theater sale.

It was a reference set with floor standing speakers so I thought I’d bite and buy it as my Christmas gift to myself. While reading through the comments, someone suggested the reference premiere brand being superior to the reference brand and for a few more dollars you could have a amazing HT setup and posted the link the these babies.

How grateful am I to this person for connecting me to RP-280FA. What an amazing sound. Along with RP-280FA, I ended up getting the RP-440C, 2 R-112SW, and 2 RP-600M for a 5. 2. 2 setup and WOW what a totally different experience.

I changes the entire dynamics of a movie and keeps you engaged and immersed throughout. It even makes mediocre movies (So I thought) good when they have a great sound mix. Nothing against my HT in box.

They serves their purpose, but this is the way to go. My highest recommendation!.

Huge speaker with tremendous sound and clarity. The horn can be bright but I were able to tone it down on the audio receiver. My gender listening is EDM and the BASS is 8/10. The 820f will not shake your room on movies so I will always have a sub to paired with.

280f is power by Yamaha R-s202bl 100w each channel which is surprisingly adequately sounds. Many people suggested a breakin period. I’m not a audiophile but these Klispch sounds really great out of the box.

OMG. i have waited since 1983 (first saw the Khorns in an audio video club on Ramstein Air Base, Germany) for these speakers. UPSCALE informed me recently of an increase in price; I was sort of waiting to purchase when my new home was built.

but. so, the purchase process was simple and straight forward. AND i had to wait a few weeks for the speakers to be built (whats that after having waited 38 years already). the speakers arrived, on two pallets.

looked like I was receiving two king size refrigerators or something. Freight delivery guy moved them into my garage. where they sat for a week. so I watched all the UTUBE videos on unpacking and that stuff.

believe this one thing if nothing else: IT DOES TAKE TWO STRONG HUMAN BEINGS TO MOVE THESE INTO LOCATION. SO, i had some friends help get them from garage into my basement area. and I took it from there.

Just moving them (on a thick piece of turkish carpet) was difficult for one person. obviously, the top section was much easier. Got them wired properly and put them in a corner. running all tube Prima Luna 400 gear; pure conditioned power; best electrical cables and inter-connects.

but I chose to listen to the test CD from UpScale on a mid level quality CD player I have. so all tracks sounded REALLY good. so,then i put on JONI MITCHELL. Blue Album. and heard the perfection I have been longing for.

SURE< my Klipsch Hersey-3's were decent. but my goodness, the flagship khorns are so much more. it brought tears to my eyes and happiness to my heart. and i know, i still have nother 500 hours to break them in.

along with the Prima Luna tube gear which still has another 475 hours of burn in time needed. all i can say, is. i am not a man of means and $$ falling out of my ears, but this investment is one that will see me through retirement.

STUNNING. I chose cheaper speakers all my life, from cerwin vega, Bose 901s, even the Hersey-3s. i simply settled. and with Kat and Kevin’s guidance and understanding, I got the flagship finally. best money i ever spent.

except for that one day i bought that new 911. haha.

I initially purchased the KLH Model 5s, but they failed to live up to the hype. After consulting with Sean S. (who is awesome), I exchanged (upgraded) the Model 5s for the Heresys. Right out the box, I was blown away.

By day three, my wife commented that every time I walk out of my listening room now, I’m grinning ear to ear. That’s what these speakers do for me. Pure joy. The Heresys put me in the room with the artist and reveal new details in music I hadn’t noticed before, even songs I’ve listened to for decades.

It’s like hearing the music for the first time. And they are gorgeous in American Walnut. Overall couldn’t be happier.
