20 Best Kitchenaid Attachment For Cookies (2023 Updated)

bought this about 6 months ago and used it mostly for bread. However the aluminum dough hook is obviously not strong enough because it has deformed during use and become impossible to get off. I’ve tried all the recommended solutions, pouring hot water on the attachment to get it to thermally expand, oil etc.

Nothing works. Its just about welded on. I’ve already damaged the paint on my mixer trying to get that dough hook off. You need a freaking hydraulic press to get it off and nothing will fit. I may end up cutting it off with a metal saw.

Kitchenaid HAS a stainless steel dough hook. They should stop shipping this aluminum one EVER as it is horrible garbage. I’ve seen enough videos on how to get stuck attachments off that its obvious this is a common problem.

Mine is just so severe that none of the common solutions work. this is probably because I was making a lot of bread. The aluminum dough hook is absolute trash. It will ruin your mixer and make it impossible to use for anything else.

NEVER USE the aluminum dough hook to make bread under ANY circumstances. Its horrible trash and will ruin your mixer completely.

Few years ago I bought a stand mix Kitchen Aid and insurance for it. I was very happy with it until I had a small problem. The pallet got stuck in it. The customer service staff were nice and replaced me completely.

I thought it was a new one but presumably it wasn’t because the one they sent was never the same as the one I bought. Soon the problems started. They kept sending me parts to change them but the problem of the bowl (it doesn’t stand in its place), was never solved.

They sent me the bottom bracket but the bowl did not insure according to what they said and I had to buy it myself. So I bought one, then the next one and all in vain because it’s not the problem of the bowl or the bottom of the grip but of the mixer itself, it doesn’t turn round as it should, it hits the walls of the bowl and after a time the system dulls.

And so I struggle with it, instead of enjoying the holidays when I want to prepare some goodies for the family. I am very disappointed with Kitchen Aid! It just came out of warranty and I didn’t continue to pay for the insurance because I was paying for it in vain, they didn’t help me with the mixer problem.

Now I have an unusable mixer and I’m looking for another, different brand.

Okay, this has got to be the best hands down beater for my kitchenaid. There’s MULTIPLE beaters but the one for the TILT HEAD is super amazing! Make sure you get the right one! I make tons of cookies and cakes and this is amazing.

Doesn’t clump and get stuck, it beats my batter evenly and it’s quieter than my other beater!! I wish they give you multiple different heads when you buy the kitchenaid!! I have an artisan and a professional, now I want to get one for my professional kitchenaid! When it’s mixing your batter, it spins evenly and distributes the batter so nicely.

I feel like it gets out all the air bubbles for my batter so that when my cake cooks, it’s even and smooth and soft!! I don’t know where I was without this. I will be using this beater forever. One of the best kitchenaid products ever made!.

I had very low expectations, but I gave it a chance and I will never make pie dough with a pastry blender by hand again. This gets it done fast so the butter doesn’t have time to start melting. It also keeps my hands completely out of it, which also prevents melting and confines the entire mess to the bowl.

The scraper it comes with fits perfectly into the spaces in the beater attachment. I switch to the flat beater to gently combine everything when I add the water. Five minutes for the whole thing and that is awesome.

I end up with the exact same flaky crust I get when I do it by hand. I wish I had this when my daughter was a baby a few years ago. I could seriously make a pie with a baby in my arms. My foremothers would have really appreciated this kind of convenience.

I’ll teach my daughter how to make things by hand so that she knows how. and then I’ll show her why the Kitchenaid is better.

The product itself is excellent. It is heavy and beautifully crafted. It washed well in the dishwasher, and the material did not dull when washed. I am very pleased with this Pastry Beater. The Pastry Beater is far superior-no paint to chip.

I was very satisfied with the easy way it was attached to the mixer. it is easy to detach & clean. I don’t ‘have to be concerned with it rusting. I use it at least once a week, and it goes in the dishwasher.

It’s a game changer. I bake a lot and I was using a different mixer with a HEAVY glass bowl all these years. Handling it, cleaning it, and using it was a hassle. With the light weight silver bowl with a handle that this comes with, just wow.

Not to mention, it makes very LITTLE noise. The design and functionality of this beater is excellent.

I bought mine a few years ago from Bed Bath and Beyond. I store it in the original box and always hand wash it. Most recently I made a double batch of Dr. Gregor’s black bean burgers. The recipe instructs to run the beans and other ingredients in a food processor.

On a whim I tried mashing and blending in my KitchenAid with this attachment. Mashed the beans on stir. After running the other ingredients through my food processor adding it to the mixer for a final stir.

It worked beautifully!! Thank you!! I recommend this product.

I was unsure whether or not to purchase this as the reviews went both ways however I thought I’d try it. After a couple of uses I would say that it does not make any difference when doing things like creaming butter and sugar – mixture just creeps up the sides of the bowl.

When you add in eggs or have a runnier mixture it does help a little. You still need to stop and scrape down (and especially the very bottom of the bowl where mixture sticks). I am a professional cook and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend spending the extra $50 for this beater.

Never thought I would give a Kitchenaid product a one star review. This flex edge beater does not scrape down the sides of the bowl, in fact it does the opposite. It spread the entire content of the bowl up the sides leaving nothing for the beater to beat.

I had to continually scrape down the sides, just like I had to with the standard beater. If I hadn’t been overly confident in the purchase I wouldn’t have thrown out the packaging. Lesson learned.

This pan is worth the cost! We use sheet pans nearly every night so having a quality pan is important. Not only does it look great but there’s no warping in the oven like the cheaper brands. Highly recommend!.

The KitchenAid 13 x 18 steel cookie slider sheet has exceeded our expectations. It works well and seems as though it will last a lifetime. We have never been had any problems with any items that are Kitchen Aid brand.

Coated so it does not oxidize like my old set. Washes easily, non-stick surface is wonderful. Exactly matched what i ordered, and priced very reasonably for its high quality construction. Thank You, so much for selling this product.

We bought a 50+ year old Hobart mixer secondhand for $50. With a little sanding and spray paint we brought it back to life. We searched endlessly for a whisk and paddle attachment that was compatible with it – then we found this listing.

Spare parts for my Kitchenaid mixer. Not easy to find as so many different part numbers. Had to get this from USA. These items were available at a much lower price from China but authenticity and quality are very suspect.

Logistics from Harts were excellent. The product and accessories are exactly as described on the website. I have had a major issue however which is a major disappointment. The main mixing bowl which comes ready assembled on its stand base was completely immovable.

It was as if superglued to the base plate. I researched this issue and various sources said this is a known problem and suggested three remedies. 1) Soak a towel in boiling water, wrap it around the base of the bowl and leave for ten minutes.

It should then come loose. If this fails, then repeat! 2) Apply mineral oil around the base. 3) Wrap the bowl in a towel an hit it gently with a mallet! I managed to dislodge my bowl after the second 10 minute soaking.

My relief was tempered by suffering from two “scalded” hands from applying the red hot towel! I have not dared attempt to re-assemble the bowl yet in case it becomes jammed once more. I stress this is not the fault of Harts but is purely down to KitchenAid.

Finally, the product is advertised as “with free gift” which I did not receive. Is this because it was not available when I ordered my product?.

Pros: The machine itself is good Cons: Overall quality control is shockingly bad for such an expensive stand mixer made from USA. I had to make two returns and minor compromise on the third one. The first one came with a beater attachment that didn’t fit the machine.

The second one came with the steel brand label fitted loosely on the mixer head. Now I have the third one which finally all fit and looked decent. But there’s a teeny dent inside the tilt head of the machine body.

I could see a teeny bit of the steel under but given it’s a very small dent and I’ve already had the trouble of making two returns I decided to just keep this one. Very disappointing workmanship and quality control from Kitchenaid.

Asked to do this review of the mixer and free gift but didn’t get a free gift. As for the mixer I’m really happy with it and wished I bought one years ago. I had no idea that the attachments are all metal so very sturdy.

Mixer is heavy so it has to sit on my worktop. Even though I read the booklet that came with it I’m pleased to say it’s one of those machines that it just flows making it easy to use. It says you can put the attachments into the dishwasher but I’ve washed everything by hand and it has all been very quick to wash and dry.

The shield is plastic and I hope that it stands the rest of time as that does seem flimsy if it was to fall or have something hit it. I’m really pleased with it so far and has really helped with the time it takes in preparing.

What a great beater – I bought as a replacement as the original one which came with the KitchenAid had started to chip! (After years of use) This one saves having to keep stopping and scraping down the sides.

I bought the genuine one on the back of so many poor reviews of non-original versions damaging machines. didn’t want that happening! I wonder if this might be more efficient with two silicone edges rather than one as only up to 1/4 of the bowl is scraped with each revolution.

Plus, the ingredients at the very bottom of the bowl were not incorporated into the mix so some stirring and bowl scraping was still needed. With that in mind, I’m not entirely sure this was worth the money, however, as with all KitchenAid products, first class build quality.

Love, love, love this. I grow a large vegetable garden. Some canning recipes require dicing veggies. This used to take hours. With the dicing accessory, it now takes seconds. The dicing is quick, perfect, and uniform.

I save so much time now! The julienne disc worked great. The adjustable size slicing is very useful as some vegetables I want thicker than others. I seldom use the pusher as the machine immediately pulls the vegetable down without any assistance.

I love to keep chopped ham in the freezer to use for recipes calling for it. Purchasing already cut ham bits is expensive. I buy a ham and dice myself which takes a long time. With this dicer attachment, it now takes seconds to dice, The possibilities are endless.

I did get it on sale. But despite the price, if you do a lot of food prep/processing, this thing is priceless in terms of time saved.

I bought this after Christmas and was really excited to finally get a food processor, but there are some things I am not happy with. 1. The lid with interlock does not stay locked. In-use the lid will come out of the lock position and I have to try to lock it back on while my machine is running or unplug my mixer.

I’m quite nervous because I’m not sure if the lid will come flying off if I let go of it. 2. I purchased the KSMIFPA specifically for the dicing attatchment. I’m not impressed with that either. I like the dicing feature but I don’t like how difficult it is to clean.

Food like onions are difficult to get out. I’ve tried soaking overnight, scrubbing with a scrubber, but the scrubber is eaten by the blades. After waiting for a very long time for my food processer I am disappointed.

I would have sent it back but I threw the box away and ordered a stand-alone food processer. I have been a KitchenAid fan for 30 years and now I am not so sure.

I pull this attachment out every weekend to dice a week’s worth of root veggies (as we love roasted veggies, parsnip-celeriac soup, and carrot soup). I can mow through an entire 5-lb bag of carrots in a minute.

Seriously. This thing is a game-changer. Be sure to fit the attachment in correctly, aware there is a little pin to fit in and a screw to hold it in. In addition, be sure to check the full instructions to see what speed you should have your mixer on for when kind of food you are dicing.

I had my speed on at 2 for carrots — bad idea! Then I decided to actually read the instructions, put the speed at 8 or 10, and boom — all is well. I am now eating plenty more veggies because I know I won’t be needing to spend all day in the kitchen with a knife in my arthritic hands.

This attachment also slices and juliennes, but I bought it for the dicing.

Solid product. Should provide years of use. A very fair price and would recommend as a replacement for your KitchenAid mixer.

These attachments are perfect for my kitchen aid KS45 model. I had bought a second hand mixer without the attachments. After doing a lot of research I came across these. So glad I did.

We will use it during the Holidays to come. It appears just like we need it. I will be rating it next month

I purchased this beater 1 1/2 months ago from a certified Kitchenaid retailer, it took me that long to get my piece. I was so frustrated. I kept asking for help and they kept saying it will come. When it came it was SS, but not marked or finished like it shows on video.

On may 12, I called Kitchenaid to ask for help, and spoke to a lovely service rep called Eunice, she was amazing. Went and checked with supervisor, and she said I would receive a new one within 7-10 days.

Well guess what I got today , my new beater. Its the next business day and it came to my door, no hassles. The only down side is that the inside of the beater is not finished like a mirror like the outside.

Other then that, it is perfect. I used it and boy, what a difference the weight of the beater makes. I own 3 kitchenaid mixers. Actually, the first one I had I gave to my niece, so you can see I am a big fan.

I love my machines. I am 73 years old and i love to bake and give food to my friends and family. They love it too. But this beater really makes a difference. I have the pro 6 and the pro 7. they should come with these machines.

I had ordered the SS whipping beater years ago, and when I make birthday cakes and italian meringue frosting, that’s the one you need. Anyway, I want to thank Kitchenaid for standing by their products.

I wish I was younger, I would want the Commercial 8 to add to my arsenal. I crave that machine. I can’t thank you enough for getting this piece to me so quickly. Everyone in retail should be this considerate.

Our original powder coated flat blade beater for our K7 lift mixer has badly delaminated the powder coating around the upper shaft. The SS replacement solves that completely. If you use a K7 frequently, get yourself a SS Beater Blade.

WORKS WITH 6QT BOWLS !! This beater is identical in shape and size to the KN256CBT and works excellent with the KN2B6PEH stainless bowl. No worry about chipping or leaching aluminum into your batter.

Just throw it into the dishwasher when your done. This beater will last FOREVER! Kitchenaid mixers are great but the company is confused like everybody else as to what fits on what model.

Our family’s Christmas ravioli making tradition was totally changed when my parents bought a KitchenAid stand mixer and the pasta cutter attachment set. The roller has settings between 1 (thickest) and 7 (thinnest) while the fettuccine and spaghetti rollers just do their thing to the pasta sheets you’ve rolled to your desired thickness.

This pasta attachment set is expensive and can be found online for between $100-200. That is a lot when the actual KitchenAid stand mixer costs like $300-400. Still I find this set to be well worth the cost–especially after so many years of dealing with that hand-cranked Atlas pasta roller.

I use the roller attachment most often to make pasta sheets to use in lasagna or to make ravioli but also to roll out the sheets to then use with the fettuccine cutting roller. I’ve never had any use for the spaghetti cutter.

It turns the pasta into such teeny tiny shreds that it is difficult to even catch them let alone cook them for the appropriate amount of time before they turn to mush. Not everyone will need or want this pasta roller set but if you find yourself interested in making homemade pasta and you own a KitchenAid stand mixer then you absolutely need to get one.

I have used the KPRA sheeet roller/Fettuccine/spaghettei cutters for many years, ussually with good results. Sometimes the Fettuccine cutter clogs and dwill not ccut requiring me to take it apart, clean the dough out and re-assemble.

What happens is the sheet metal fingers that clear the cutter groove can pop out under stress. This stress can be caused by three conditions: dough too thick: dough too moist mis-alignment while feeding sheets causes extra strain on cutter.

I have learned to flour the sheets before rolling rolling them thinner, I go down to the “6” before cutting. When cutting I flour the cutting rollers. When a jam occurs, I check the position of the cleaner fingers because they can pop out.

Easily corrected by removing the cover screws (other end from the drive) then remove the spring retainer. Clean out all dough, replace the fingers the the stamped retainers, replace retainer spring to hold the fingers in place.

Replace the cover an two screws. Finish job. Enjoy the pasta.

Since I have had this product for a very long time, I know how to use it and I can say the design and functions are very good and the instructions and well written. I got this product almost 2 years ago.

This product has provided my family and I delicious dinners (and leftovers for lunch). I use the pasta roller to smooth out the pasta and then I choose between making spaghetti or fettuccine, I roll out the pasta then I use the other attachment to make the pasta.

The cooking time is super quick! I really like this product because it is so easy to use, easy to clean and easy to put together, sometimes it may seem harder to attach to the mixer but It’s really easy.

I definitely recommend this product especially the 3 piece. The only thing I would say is that if the pasta dries up its hard to get off, but anyway, super awesome product! Definitely recommend to anyone, super simple, easy to use, easy to attach and give you great pasta at the end! LOVE IT!.

Surprised my wife with the pasta maker as she has been wanting to learn to make her own pasta for sometime. When asked why she doesn’t do it, she replied it’s too much work. I googled how to make pasta and learned it was very easy and few ingredients.

I also learned that it was the process of rolling and cutting that was the lengthy process. These attachments made the process much easier and less of a headache for her. They are well made and solid.

Each attachments easily weighs five pounds. They are made in Italy. Would definitely buy again if had to, but don’t think that will be. They will likely be passed down to our next generation.
