A kit car is usually a replica or copy of a classic or expensive car, but built using a kit of parts that can be bought from a manufacturer or supplier. They can be either pre-assembled or self-assembled by the customer.
Many kit cars are designed to be easy to assemble, with little or no welding or specialist skills required. This makes them ideal for first-time builders or those with limited experience.
There are a huge range of kit cars available on the market, from replicas of classic cars like the Porsche 911, to more modern designs like the Ariel Atom. Prices can vary widely, but as a general rule, kit cars are much cheaper than buying a ready-made equivalent.
This makes them a great option for budget-conscious car enthusiasts.
One of the main advantages of kit cars is that they offer a high degree of customization. Builders can choose from a wide range of components to create a car that is unique to them. This includes everything from the engine and suspension, to the interior trim and exterior bodywork.
Kit cars can be an enjoyable and rewarding project for those with the time and patience to see it through. However, it’s important to remember that they can also be a significant investment, both in terms of time and money.
Before embarking on a kit car build, it’s important to do your research and make sure you are realistic about what is involved.

Revell 68 Dodge Charger 2 in 1 1:25 Plastic Model Kit
Optional complete 440 cubic inch or 426 Hemi V8 engines plus a separate engine stand
Detailed interior and chassis to build either stock muscle car or vintage drag racer
Revell-plastic model kit ’68 dodge charver 2 in 1 1/25. The perfect collector piece for car buffs! This package contains 181 plastic pieces molded in white waterslide decals and measures at 8-5/16 inches long.
Scale of the vehicle is 1 25. Skill level 3. Recommended for ages 12 and up. WARNING choking hazard-small parts. Not for children under 3 years. Imported.
Service from Sunward Hobbies was first rate as always, this review is in no way a reflection on them. Sadly the body on the kit I received was badly warped. I have submitted a claim to Revell Germany for a replacement body under warranty, so far no answer from them.
Hopefully they come through otherwise I’ve spent $45 on parts.
The most popular vehicle from The Fast and the Furious movie series is Dominic Toretto’s velvet black Dodge Charger. In the very first movie, Dominic showed that cool import cars can’t take on the usual cubic inch machines.
The Fast and the Furious has now spanned seven films and it’s the most successful franchise in Universal Studios history. Dominic’s 1970 Dodge Charger has been featured in almost all of the seven films.
Thank you Revell for finally bringing out a 70 Charger that is correct in the front fenders as well as the grill. I am a die hard 68-70 Charger guy and have had the pleasure of owning a few in life. My two 70’s I had at one time will both be built from this car and the Revell 69 will be used for some parts such as the real seats and the stock engine.
The front seats in this kit are the correct high back buckets that are in a 70 and it does have door panels even though they are the 68 and 69 style at least they are there to put in when building this car as a street car.
A little note for those that want to build this the way I am. The hood from the AMT F&F 70 Charger which really is a poor excuse for a 70 has two hoods with it. one is cut out for the blower and injector to fit through the other is a stock hood that will fit this kit.
I have two of these now and cant wait to get started on them. If your after a 70 that can be kit bashed with the Revell 69 parts then this is the kit for you. Get one while you can !!!.
Well done rendering of the 1970 Dodge Charger as driven by Dom in the Fast and Furious movies. It comes equipped with the blown 426 Himi, headers, roll bar, and rear slicks. It also features a striped down interior by deleting the rear seats and Exposing the sheet metal underneath.
It has the correct 1970 door covers and very well done front bumper/grill combination. Unfortunately it only comes as the Fast and Furious movie version so does not come with the parts necessary to build a stock version.
And the taillight panel doesn’t look correct for a 1970. Hopefully Revell will release a stock R/T version in the near future. Overall a nice kit and light-years better than AMT’s version of the same car!.
This is a good model, but it is not an exact copy of the car featured in the first “fast and furious” movie. That particular car had the classic grill with visible headlights.
Vintage muscle It is accepted that the Pontiac GTO was the first true “Muscle Car” made by Detroit. Working to keep ahead of the competition, the 1966 GTO set a sales record with 96,946 cars sold. It combined great looks with unmatched performance.
With its Tri-Power motor, it could cut the quarter mile in 14. 05 seconds. Kit features detailed 389 V-8 with Tri-Power carbs, Tampo printed red lines, two sets of wheel choices, and soft black tires.
Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required. Contents subject to change. Price includes in store coupon.
I am about half way finished and it appears to be very well made. Very little flashing and parts fit well. Good directions and very realistic. I’ll no more when I finish it but I can see it is a fine model and I’ve done a lot of them.
I’ve wanted to do this model for many years. Finally have the opportunity. Really cool model, with few parts. But when assembled and painted makes a nice, funny kit.
The 1968 Mustang GT Fastback is an iconic pony car and the Bullitt Mustang is this car. This model allows the possibility to make several versions that were famous “back in the day” and should be a model to build your dream Mustang.
Dodge’s entry into the pony car wars was the Challenger, and it more than held its own in hot company with the outstanding 340 cid small block engine. In fact, the 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A ranks as one of the wildest and most desirable musclecars ever built.
Optional custom hood and high rise dual four barrel intake, rear spoiler, colorful custom graphics, and Centerline wheels. Choice of two versions – factory stock or street machine with dual 4-barrel high-rise intake.
Highly detailed interior. Molded in white and clear with chrome plated parts and black vinyl tires. Requires paint and glue (not included).
This kit was originally a Monogram 1:24th kit (before Revell purchased Monogram) But just because the molds are getting old, doesn’t mean this is a bad kit. In fact it is extremely accurate in scale & proportions.
The T/A (Trans Am) was the Dodge response to Plymouth’s AAR Barracuda. This kit can be converted to Pro Stock quite easily with a little help from your parts stash. In 1970, Pro Stock required factory manufactured bodies with little more than slicks, roll cage, scoop & monster motors.
Give fans of Fast & Furious the ultimate thrill with this LEGO Technic Dom’s Dodge Charger (42111) building set for kids and adults. Based on the iconic 1970s Dodge Charger R/T,it’s packed with authentic details.
The opening hood reveals a model version of the iconic V8 engine. Other cool features include moving pistons, wishbone suspension, steering system and air blower. There are even nitro bottles in the trunk to bring Dom’s daring high-speed chases to life.
Just like the real thing! Fans aged 10 and up will love building their very own replica model of Dominic Toretto’s famous car. After building the Dodge Charger, the fun ramps up as fans role-play classic scenes from The Fast and The Furious movie, bringing the adrenaline-fuelled world of street racing to life.
Awesome building toy for creative play this LEGO Technic set offers an advanced building toy for Fast and Furious fans who are ready for their next building challenge.
This was my first set is 5 years that I bought for myself. My wife’s family are big fans of the Fast and Furious franchise, so I got an easy go ahead to buy it when it came out back in April of 2020.
Pros: – It feels like a Dodge. hefty, chunky grumpy looking. – Love the engine and drivetrain. – The front back and side views look great. – Full suspension on the back axle and independent in the front.
-Engine Detail Cons: – Top down view it looks like a black plastic rectangle – Rear suspension is built a little weak for my liking. The way it is built causes some bending near the connection points on the frame when pushed on.
not a deal breaker though. – Interior feels very lacking. For this price point I get it, but at least connect the steering wheel to the actual front axle, not just attached by a connector pin for looks.
– the 2 light grey small angle pieces on each end of the back bumper tend to fall off if bumped the wrong way while moving. Almost lost them in the carpet a few times already. – Front grille outline is a little weak and could be easily made better with less pieces, which would make it stronger and have less cracks reducing the look of many separate pieces.
All in all a great set with some functionality to make it fun to look at and interact with. If you have some parts in your spare parts bin to tweak a few things, it definitely can be a display piece in your collection, and something fun for everyone.
SIDE NOTE: If LEGO ever decides to create this iconic car in the same manner and level of detail as the Ford Mustang from the Creator Expert line, I think it would do quite well.
Got this for myself to help me quit smoking. I’m 47 the instructions are ok to understand I had to look at a few of them a few times and take it apart at times to make it fit the instructions right. I ended up just opening all bags and putting them on my table.
I would suggest just open the bags that are needed per instructions because I had to search the parts several times to find the right parts. Also some of the parts don’t match the colors so on this I think they need to give more of the correct color parts and not make it to where you have to use a different color.
Other then that great build and a good gift if you wanted to gift it.
I have a deep love of the Fast & Furious franchise so when I stumbled on this set I thought it was pretty neat. Not too flashy or gimmicky, can pass for just a nice muscle car build without needing the movie tie in.
Obviously it is not as intricate or detailed as some of the larger and more expensive Technic car models(Porsche, Lambo, Bugatti), but for what you’re paying it’s a pretty decent set. The doors open, working suspension, opening trunk and hood, pistons run, the visible timing chain moves, and hand-of-god steering(the steering wheel is decorative only; steering is done via a knob at the back of the car).
And to top it off the hidden prop under the car that can be raised or lowered to provide the “action” of a wheelie from the first movie is nice for display purposes. The downside is, with all of that packed in and a relatively cheap price tag, some of the details are lacking.
The axles stick out beyond the wheels, which is the same on the door handles. The seat exists solely to say there is a seat. The roll cage and some of the trim representing chrome is awkward. I give credit to the designer for making this happen, but I would have preferred a slightly higher price for a little more attention to detail, or leaving off some of the details you don’t see in order to focus more on the ones you do.
Bottom line it’s a nice set and has a lot of value for what it is, but it is not on par with some of the larger licensed cars.
The street rod phenomenon really got going in the early 1950s. There was a good supply of old 29s Fords around, and the new overhead valve V-8s were hitting the market. This was the perfect combination for a young man who was good with his hands.
The Model A Street Rods were light, powerful and cheap to build. But most importantly they were very fast! As the years have gone by, hot rods have become more sophisticated and more expensive. They are no longer just an outlet for teenagers to go fast.
They have been replaced by Muscle Cars and highly tuned import cars. Today, the parts are custom made just for street rods. It has become an entire industry, and it all started because kids wanted to go fast.
Features V-8 engine with 2 different intake styles. Choice of 2 Different Frame Types. Choice of steering wheels and headlights. Molded in white and clear with chrome plated parts and soft black tires.
When you bring on the “Bling”, you need to do it in style. What better way than with a Caddy. In 1984, GM produced the last of the full-size Cadillacs. With their classic body on frame construction, these late model Cadillacs make the best lowriders.
They are perfect for going way down low or way up high. For power, this Cadillac has the big 4. 1 liter V-8 engine hooked up to a rear wheel drive. This 80’s Cadillac is not quite as big as the earlier versions, but is still very big for a car today.
This two door Coupe Deville is especially popular with the lowriders. There’s plenty of room for all the pumps and hydraulics needed to make the car dance lowrider style. This Revel Coupe Deville has the popular later-model Brougham headlights along with lower body trim for a more classic look.
I modified it with 16″ chrome wire wheels and triple whits walls. It is not lowered . It is triple black and was painted with automotive paint (base clear). I added extra chrome ( the moldings )
This is fantastic because of its attention to detail. As a running RC car its super fast but you have to take caution while driving it as it will roll over on high speed turns. The assembly is top notch and teaches the builder the true nature of the real car.
A lot of fun to build. With options to make numerous different variants. Once built there are hours of fun racing this car over all sorts terrain, without doing to much damage. the more you use it the better it looks.
This is an RC model is not for life of a shelf queen.
The Tamiya Sandscorcher released back in 1979 was to be an iconic r/c car and to this day has a huge loyal following fan club. Tamiya re-released the Sandscorcher back in 2010 and was another instant hit with r/c fans.
This iconic r/c car is becoming very collectable and the its value is rising due to its popularity so grab one if you can (if you are lucky enough).
Revell Plastic Model Car Kit #85-4418 is skill level 4 and contains 88 parts. Recommended for ages 12 and up. 1:24 scale model car measures L-8. 25″ x W-3. 312″ x H-1. 75″ Fully detailed EcoBoost V-6 with intercoolers, complete roll cage structure, and solid axle.
Tampo printed window trimp. Molded in white, transparent, red, and clear with soft black tires. Paint and glue not included.
I rated the kit as 3 stars. A few parts were missing, one being the smaller struts that supported the upper wing near the cockpit. These parts were crucial. Another part, not so crucial was a round disc that is placed on the inner part of the wheel, the landing gear support base has to fit through these holes.
Revell’s 1/24 Ford GT LeMans 2017 is cleanly molded with adequate instructions and a large sheet of decals. The model portrays the racing version in one color scheme only, but also has a complete engine and cockpit vs.
curb-side moldings with a simplified driver area that lacks only seat belts. The kit is an excellent value for the price and well worth consideration.
Back in 1987,the Buick Grand National was the fastest U. S. production car available. The Buick turbo charged V-6 engine was actually designed for 220+mph racecars. Factory painted in all black, this was a personal luxury car turned into a high performance thoroughbred.
Kit features: All the factory stock accessories unique to the Grand National. Full suspension and longitudinal torque bar. GNX side louvers and wheels. Detailed V-6 with turbo, intercooler and air intake.
Decals with authentic stock graphics. Molded in white, transparent red and clear with chrome plated parts and soft black tires.
While I like this kit and the others by Revell, there are some problematic issues. The most important of these is the instruction booklet. There are only drawings with general information, but no text elaborating about the more critical points in the assembly process.
I don’t need a tremendous amount of written info, but it would be nice to have some clarification rather than a mere drawing with arrows and dotted lines. Revell uses a lot of codes and numbers, but little to no written directions.
At $30-$35 for a kit, I would think they could provide basic written instructions. As I said, I like the kits–but I find myself frustrated at times having to guess what the drawings are trying to convey.
Build 10 different vehicles with the Meccano 10-in-1 Racing Vehicles Set! This STEM set has everything the novice builder needs to assemble and re-assemble 10 high-speed performance cars, planes, boats and more, one at a time.
Using the set’s 225 parts and 2 real tools, follow the instructions to construct a sleek race car, fighter jet and racing boat or build your own vehicle! Customize your builds with the 2 sticker sheets and add flames or modern designs to your vehicles.
Display your completed build, race it, then take it apart to assemble another vehicle! This set is the perfect gift for kids. Bring home the Meccano 10-in-1 Racing Vehicles Set and build it, race it, transform it!.
This Meccano set is great but I honestly think it’s a bit too challenging for the age group it’s set at. It says that it is suitable for ages 8 and up but my son really struggled with it. The set is good but younger users would definitely need an adult (or older child’s) help.
There are ten different models to make, each separately. The instructions were easy for me to follow, again my son needed a little help with these. Some of the parts were quite tricky to put together but the finished models were great.
I think if this was marketed at a slightly higher age group it would be less frustrating for young engineers.
10 in 1 Macanno set for older kids! This is a great set as once you’ve built you ain’t just done! This can be dismantled and rebuilt into 10 different models 🙂 it works out to be amazing value for money in my opinion.
The instructions are fairly easy to follow but still takes some time which keep the kids happy and occupied. Overall it makes a perfect gift and as always amazingly package by the manufacturer!.
This is an amazing, exciting, and fun filled product that will keep your child entertained for hours! They won’t get bored as this product can be rebuilt again and again. You can build 3 different models, an instruction sheet is provided and/or let your child use their imagination and build something else.
With 225 parts be sure your child will be entertained hours on end! Definitely worth purchasing!.
The Chevy Impala is one of the most iconic classic American cars ever built. With its sleek lines, chrome grill, quad headlights and 427 cubic-inch V8 engine, the 1967 Impala SS remains one of the most popular muscle cars.
AMT/ERTL bring us a new boxing of their detailed kit of this classic American Icon! Molded in white, cleaer, transparent red and chrome-colored plastic; includes black vinyl tires and decals.
I enjoyed building this kit. It has good detail. Pieces fil well for the most part. There was a lot of flash on the parts that needed to be trimmed. No problems, nice results. I would recommend this kit.
I havent built a model car kit since I was a kid over 40 years ago. I had to take few days off at work so it gave me something to do while I was home. It was a little harder than I expected
The 1968 Mustang GT fastback was the most revered and wanted design by the pony car enthusiast. The long, graceful hood, sloping roofline and short, bobbed trunk made the Mustang appear to be a sporty racing vehicle.
Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required. Contents subject to change. Price includes in store coupon.
Have tried for ages to get this model to convert to Bullitt Mustang hopefully. A fair bit of clean up required to get rid of seam lines etc, but acceptable bearing in mind how old the kit is. Slight issue with front body panel join to body, but overcome with patience, filling, sanding, pleased with finish.
Classic muscle Chevy Impalas have been top sellers ever since their introduction in 1958; the ’65 stands out by being one of the best-selling Impalas of all time. Its low-slung chassis, powerful engine and wide wheelbase made it very popular with consumers in the mid-sixties and it is still regarded as a classic today.
Today, its X frame is popular with people interested in modifying the vehicle’s ride height and suspension. This kit features a detailed chassis, large diameter Foose design wheels and customized V-8 engine.
Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required. Contents subject to change. Price includes in store coupon.
Nicely detailed kit of this subject, always liked mid-sixties big Chevies! Good fit of parts, clear instructions guide amateurs and more experienced builders alike. Revell does a great job of capturing the look of the 65 Impala, and the chassis detail and engine are just beautifully executed, and really come alive when paint-detailed properly.
CHEVROLET offered its first ‘SUPER SPORT’ package in 1961 with the classy & bold IMPALA. The Kat’s at AMT are thrilled to offer this stunning example of American muscle with this authentically detailed glue-together plastic model kit! It features a full 409 engine and interior with both stock and drag wheel and tire options.
This kit is supposed to be AMT. I also have this model by Lindburg. When I compared the two models, they are the same kit. Same exact molds of all the parts. Instruction sheet is all the same exact pictures, just in a different configuration.
Was very disappointing. I always thought AMT was a superior kit that Lindberg, now I don’t know what company owns what company.
They did a nice job replicating this one. The chrome door handles and windshield seperate are a plus. The only. slight negative would be that the vent post piller is part of the glass windshield and not on the body but it is minor.
This Plastic Model Kit 90 Mustang Model Kit is the ideal collector’s item for car buffs. The package contains 139 molded white pieces and water slide decals to complete the custom look. Turn on your work lamp and spread all the parts from the plastic car model kit out on your work table.
When construction is complete the vehicle measures over seven inches long. Paint the Mustang in two tones for an extra showy effect. Start your drag racing car collection with this set or add it to your existing race-ready fleet of vehicles.
It makes an excellent gift for young model enthusiasts who are moving on to more complicated builds.
First off this kits looked awesome. Decent fit in parts but the 2 build options run together in the instructions. Hung up on engine install. Hung up on part 58. No instruction in step.
AMT 1963 Chevy Impala SS Hardtop Model Kit What better way to memorialize one of the most iconic muscle cars to ever grace American streets than by building a replica of it from scratch? With this model kit, you will use the 100 provided parts to assemble a gorgeous 1963 Chevy Impala.
If you have a car enthusiast, hobbyist or collector in your life, this kit makes the perfect gift. Order before it’s gone!.
Still a nice kit clean crisp casting , its been reissued so many times. I wish they would have used the mold without the tail lights cast in the body Not nearly as nice as having the red plastic lenses as the original kit.
Other than the tail light issue its still a nice kit But not the typical AMT choice of axle positioning for stock or lowered options. Could have had a more nostalgic choice of wheel and tire combination, or a nicer updated style of wheel.
Very nice to see the original convertible top boot included, that is a plus for us annual kit builders / collectors. A nice decal sheet. is now included another nice update. All in all no big complaints and would buy another.
It is lovely to see this old favourite back again, this time with many of it’s custom parts and accessories included for the first time in many years, although it is a product of it’s time it goes together easily and well, the moulding quality is still crisp and the chrome is outstanding.
The inclusion of pad printed white band tyres is a nice touch, the decal sheet includes all body emblems and badges and the box art is very nostalgic. I made mine into a convertible by the simple method of cutting the roof off and using the convertible boot which is supplied in the kit, the drive-in diner tray is also one of the items now included with the kit and gave me the idea for the vignette using a couple of modified Fujimi driver figures and a commercially available drive in waitress.
In all, I heartily recommend this kit, the next one I will build will be a wild 60’s custom using the asymmetrical front and rear styling parts in the kit.
Great to see a repop of an old favorite, short on hot rod parts though for us old farts that like to build 60’s muscle cars. The kit itself seems to go together well, very nice detail for the stock suspension – very average interior.
There are probably only a few vehicles in automotive history that can compete with the Land Rover in terms of cult status. And when it comes to robustness and off-road capability, nobody is fooling him anyway.
Those who also had a lot to transport off-road resorted to the version with the long wheelbase called LWF or 109. The third generation of the British, known as Series III, was built unchanged from 1971 for almost 15 years.
This kit is well detailed and does not look too difficult to build. There are clear colour instructions on how to make and paint it. I have not started on making this one yet but other newer Revell kits have been a lot better with parts fitting together and less cleaning up than the older kits.
Excellent quality moulding ensures this model is very well detailed and true to the original vehicle. Some of the suggested colouring is not entirely Land Rover standard but that can be rectified with a little knowledge and internet research.
Not a novice construction kit if you want to end up with a show piece but never the less a quality item and ‘hours of fun’ to complete.
This is not a Level 3 kit, more like 4. Instructions are poor (pictures only) so its not even clear what some of the parts are. Clear window parts are poor fit, could be in fewer pieces. Finished model looks good but its a lot of hassle getting there! Best left to experienced modellers and would recommend video from hpi guys, very helpful.
DescriptionFor many years the Volkswagen Beetle was the car in which everything began. Innumerable young people learned to drive in it, innumerable people drove it as the first car in their lives. Over the years improvements were continually being made to the car in order to keep the Beetle competitive.
By 1968 the Beetle had reached a standard that always kept it ahead of the competition. The former 1131cc engine became a 44 hp 1500 cc engine. Front disc brakes and a new semi-trailing-arm rear axle held its temperament in check.
The headlamps were now vertical and it was possible to fill up the tank through a side flap.
This plastic kit of a Volkswagen “Beetle” first appeared by Revell in the 1960s and the condition of the sprues indicate as much, with lots of excess plastic. It is way poorer than products from other parts of the world.
As a challenge for a kit builder, yes but for a newcomer to the hobby, no. Given the number of kit moulds that Revell has in store I would have thought they could have found something in far better condition.
Overall nice kit, but il seems to me that it lacks a little bit of precision, or it’s me 🙂 I had some problems assembling the upper and lower part in the end. But it is OK, a lot of chrome parts (that I finally repainted after all), nice rubber wheels that turns, etc.
This has nothing againts you guy’s but this was the worst project decals are impossible to put on since they are too small and instructions are of no help… To avoid.
Tamiya brings back another R/C classic with this Subaru BRAT. Longtime fans will once again experience the nostalgia of their childhood and beginners can enjoy the easy operation of this colorful off-road truck.
Features: High quality 1/10 R/C assembly kit of the Subaru BRAT, one of Tamiyas early R/C creations. Same 2WD chassis as used for The Frog, with 4-wheel independent suspension to handle tough off-road driving.
Comes with two body shells, one made of plastic material similar to the original BRAT for a nostalgic feel and one made from durable poly-carbonate material. Type 540 motor included. Electronic Speed Control Unit (TEU-101BK) also included.
This RC car is exactly as I remember it from childhood. Surprisingly fast and durable and relatively straightforward to assemble. Notably, you need to make sure everything is tightened up, I had a front wheel fall off on test drive, probably more my fault then the design of the car.
The paint and detailing of the Subaru body will take as long as the car build. Also the body could get damaged easily hence a second Ploy-carbonate body is provided which is easier to paint. There are easier car bodies to paint and build but the end result of this one is worth the effort.
I would not recommend this RC car for a young child (under 8) It is fast and hard to control in less experienced hands and could cause a lot of damage quickly.
One of the car’s more famous owners was former US President Ronald Reagan Tamiya brings back another R/C classic with this Subaru BRAT. Longtime fans will once again experience the nostalgia of their childhood and beginners can enjoy the easy operation of this colorful off-road truck.
About the Subaru BRAT The Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter was created by Subaru in the late 1970’s from their earlier 4WD station wagon model for the US market. Powered by a flat-four engine ranging from 1.
6 to 1. 8 liters in displacement, this pickup had the unique feature of having jump seats welded to the truck bed, which allowed it to be imported as a car instead of a truck. One of the car’s more famous owners was former US President Ronald Reagan, whose red BRAT is restored and displayed at his former residence in California.
Great little kit for more experienced rc users as a bit more in depth model to make with metal parts but great model. Most should be able to make it in an afternoon and if you’ve got a hairdryer can have it up running and painted by the end of a day.
Quite quick but could do with a bit more oomph but that’s because I’ve got larger nitro models but great fun and so much easier than nitro to use no messing about.
There are many different types of kit cars available on the market, and it can be difficult to know where to start when choosing one. However, there are a few key things to keep in mind when selecting a kit car for a beginner.
First, it is important to choose a car that is relatively simple to assemble. Some kit cars can be quite complex, and it is important to make sure that you are able to handle the assembly process. There are a number of resources available online and in car magazines that can help you determine the level of difficulty for various kit cars.
Second, you will want to make sure that the kit car you select comes with clear instructions. Many car kits do not come with detailed instructions, and this can make the assembly process more difficult.
Make sure that you select a kit that comes with easy-to-follow instructions.
Finally, it is important to select a kit car that is within your budget. Kit cars can be quite expensive, and you will want to make sure that you are able to afford the car you select. There are a number of ways to finance a kit car, and you should explore all of your options before making a final decision.
By following these simple tips, you can choose the perfect kit car for a beginner. With a little bit of research, you can find a car that you will be able to enjoy for years to come.
