20 Best Kimber Micro 9 Accessories (2023 Updated)

BIG MISTAKE OF A PURCHASE. I’m very well versed and tech savvy with audio and video production. I’ve been considering adding a GoPro to my line-up for quite some time to augment videoing live music performances, primarily of my son.

I purchased a GoPro HERO11 Creator Edition at Best Buy on Friday September 16, 2022 after weighing the options for live music performances. I own and use a wide range of great gear from a Sony A7 to my iPhone and a host of other video and audio production gear.

The portability, stability and video quality of the GoPro seemed to make sense to capture more of the action shots I was wanting from the music performances. And, the “Creator Edition” seemed like a great out-of-the-box option.

Ironically, one of the lead sales persons at Best Buy was walking me through the pros and cons of my decision just prior to purchasing. He noted there’s been a lot of complaints about the GoPro 9 and 10 overheating.

This was of great concern, but the write-ups on the 11 mentioned the “Software Update” provided solutions for the overheating issue. I didn’t quite grasp how a software update could correct a hardware problem, but I trusted this to be the case.

WRONG DECISION. I purchased the GoPro HERO11 Creator Edition with the intention of using it with the included Charging Grip. GoPro offered assurances the overheating issues were the result of a software issue and could be remedied with an update, plus not using the camera in a stationary position.

I followed along with the most recent software and kept the GoPro moving while shooting my first concert with the camera in the shade. I was so angry that the camera overheated and shut down about 30 minutes into the performance.

I literally missed recording half of my son’s first performance with his new band at a major festival because the GoPro HERO11 overheated 30 minutes into the performance. UNREAL!!! This is completely unsatisfactory and total bust of a product.

Especially when a modern “action cam” can’t handle 30 minutes of shooting live music in the shade. What a piece of useless overhyped junk!!!! Thanks for the total let-down and waste of money. Worst of all thanks for making miss half of my son’s performance.

I occasionally video long speaking events and love the GoPro because of its continuous recording! But my old GoPro didn’t have a mic input so I had to record the audio separately and stitch it together afterwards which was a pain.

The media mod works great with the 3. 5mm input jack for my microphone AND it has two shoe mounts which work perfectly with my Rode Wireless Go microphone so it all stays attached. I had to watch a YouTube video to learn how to remove the camera’s battery cover so this would fit (just pull hard), but it slides in well and has a tight, sturdy fit.

It also had a USB port in the media mod for connecting to your computer for charging or transferring files. I could not connect it to my iPhone or iPad to transfer over USB-C, but that may because of my adapters.

I think you need a special “camera adapter” for the devices to recognize it. The iPad did charge it when connected though which was nice. It also has an HDMI out port, but it’s a much smaller connection so you’ll need a Micro HDMI to regular HDMI cable if you want to use it.

Overall it does exactly what I need and seems sturdy for long use.

THis is a solid product with room for improvement. First, this gives your Hero9 or 10 an external microphone– but the audio on the 9/10 is pretty good, so this doesn’t really improve the quality that much.

But the windscreen helps. WHat really helps this is the shoe mounts and the audio in plug. This enabled me to use my professional wireless microphone, mount the wireless receiver on the shoe mount and have some wireless freedom while getting superb audio.

THe case is solid enough. Probably what stops me from giving this a five star instead of the four, is the accessibility design: You have to unscrew the gopro from whatever mount you’re using to access the battery or the card.

Also, wish they had married this with an external battery solution to give longer life.

This product is built like a beast. I definitely trust it to hold my camera. I like the ability to use (or not use) the locking mechanism holding the camera on the holster. The holster is a game changer for event photography, where I’m crouching down and moving around.

No more laying the camera down or have it swinging from a strap. In the studio, I no longer put my camera down on the tether table to adjust lighting. Love it!.

I photograph newborns in-hospital. I can’t rely on a neck strap to hold my camera out of the way when repositioning babies for the next shot. This holster keeps my camera AND baby safe while taking weight off my neck and shoulders all day.

I still use a strap as backup, but the holster supports most of the weight. I carry my camera on my right hip, and my speed light on my left where it’s easily accessible when needed.

It looks good and feels comfortable. My gun fits well and is easy to remove from the holster. The holster is made with high quality materials yet simple. The holster arrived fast and neatly packaged.

I purchased this holster as a left handed so that I could use it in the small of my back and still draw with my tight hand. The holster does securely hold my Micro 9 and is easy to put on and take off and is mostly unnoticeable.

Since it is a carbon fiber monster it is a bit uncomfortable to wear while driving.

The holster is very light, yet seems durable. Love the carbon fiber. The audible click to know the gun is seated properly is a plus. Very thin and concealable.

Tight fit on either side. Smooth pull from holster. It rides good even while driving.

I had been looking for an IWB holster for my gen 1 Baby Eagle/Jericho compact for awhile. Stumbled apon this and figured I would give it a shot given the price. I was pleasantly surprised on how nice it was when it arrived.

My pistol did have a little play in the holster, but was to be expected as it wasn’t built for it. I was also glad the holster didn’t interfere with the slide mounted decocker. The adjustment of the retention is great as is the cant.

I took a heat gun to the top/slide edge of the holster and gave it just a little pinch, the gun now fits tight in the holster. The holster is about a half inch longer than the end of the muzzle, have not decided to trim it yet.

So, this is a long review for a holster that wasn’t built for my gun. I can only imagine how well it would fit one it was actually built for. But, if you are looking for an inside-the-wasteband holster for an old steel framed/no rail Jericho or baby eagle I would recommend giving this a shot.

The holster is great, drawing and holstering is smooth, the claw works well and it does what it’s supposed to. However, the holster came in a condition that made me think it was used. The rubber bushings were worn and seemed to be sitting in a warehouse for quite some time.

The metal belt clip was scratched, fresh out of the package. The package itself was a simple padded envelope, yet I expected at least a cardboard box for the price. However, the purchasing experience was abysmal.

False scarcity marketing plagues the website. I received my 10% off promo code AFTER my purchase and received emails promoting free same day shipping for orders over %50 AFTER my purchase (over $60) as well.

It’s a real shame that Concealment Express behaves this way with products.

I should have gotten one of these a long time ago. It has a very affirmative snap and retention that can be adjusted. It appears to be quality made. This is not actually a carbon fiber holster, but rather it just has a fin carbon fiber layer on the exterior.

The only complaint that I would have with it is that it rides high compared to what I’m used to with a crossbreed super tuck deluxe on the lowest setting. However, I’m carrying a much smaller gun with this p365 so it’s not really a deal breaker.

This might be a problem if I was carrying a bigger firearm. I added a picture with my shirt tucked in so you can see how I had it rides. This fits tactical belts but also works fine on normal with leather carry belts.

I have one of your IWP holsters for my SW Shield for about 5 yr now it is fantastic. I just got a new gun SigP365xl I accidently ordered a holster for std 365 You allowed me to return for even exchange n/c.

I just started using it right out of the package slight tension adjustment. Put it on perfect fit perfection in carry. I love your product Recommend it highly to everyone I know who carries. Fabulous holster fits great comfortable all day use no movement no discomfort ease of draw.

I tried a few different holsters for my Jericho 941F, and while some were functional, there was usually a problem with printing, draw speed, or fit. Concealment Express is one of the few companies that makes a holster for the IWI Jericho, and even fewer who make an IWB holster for it.

It only required minimal adjustment to be tight, and still allowed the gun to be drawn very easily. I already had the IWB Kydex for my S&W M&P Shield, which is great; but I’m largely impressed at the attention taken to the Jericho 941F holster, especially when it’s only typical that most manufacturers extend solely to the Madasa when it comes to IWI holsters, if even that.

At this point, I have the Jericho and S&W M&P Shield 2. 0 IWB holsters, and my wife uses a tuckable Shield 2. 0 holster for hers, and a tuckable for her Walther PPK/S. Given the length of the grip with the Jericho, I’d highly recommend the claw kit to eliminate printing, since the end tends to walk by default.

Of the foot attachments available, I found the larger one works better for me if I’m carrying at 4:30. For the most part, I can wear a button-up shirt and now have it poking through. I live in Florida, so jackets aren’t always an option, except for about a month per year.

As somebody with a fair amount of manufacturing experience, I’ll say that the finishing work is on-par with a maker who actually cares if a product is usable.

Love this holster its super comfortable and the adjustable tension lets me set it just the way i like. Honestly the best IWB holster i have found on the market today!

Bought for my P365XL. Not the biggest fan, it was okay for what it was and price, but reholstering was near impossible due to the open design of the trigger guard. That meant practicing a draw stroke required you to draw, then remove the holster and snap it back over the trigger guard.

If you’re looking for something cheap with a claw that can secure a smaller pistol it’s not a bad choice, but has its limitations. If the kydex was stiffer and held it’s form better reholstering wouldn’t be an issue.

Maybe I am spoiled with other holsters. Maybe I am getting used to this holster. Maybe I am spoiled by more clear instructions when adding things like “claws” with other holster manufacturers. I would say this holster works, but for the Kimber Micro.

380 the pistol rattles around in it no matter how I adjust the tension screws. I really wanted to be blown away but I would say it is just “ok. ” I think I would spend a little more and get from a different company if I were to do it over again.

If the pistol had a better fit and was “quiet” while holstered I would rate it higher.

The fit is spot on. Quality seems good so far. Only a week old. Clip is very stiff. Hoping after break in it works easier. Or maybe my hands are weaker than I think. Lol. Thanks

Had to return item, hopefully you will receive it within a few days. Was NOT able to use product. Holster looked nice and was comfortable, but NOT SAFE. The unit disengaged thumb safety when removing and seating firearm.

Probably better design if kydex did not cover thumb safety. Also too much room between sight and top part of holster. Could shave off an additional 2 centimeters between sight/slide and kydex opening.

This is a decent holster at a fair price, but not comparable to my other Crossbreed holsters. It is made of only nylon, elastic and velcro. It’s similar to something you’d buy from Uncle Mikes or Active Pro Gear.

Both are even less expensive. It clearly won’t last for a year of EDC. The velcro must be used every time to put it on and take it off. That will wear out the velcro. If instead Crossbreed were to incorporate a durable buckle or two, and use the velcro only for adjustment, this could be a real winner.

This holster also lacks sufficient stiffness in the back plate to prevent a revolver cylinder from pushing into your ankle uncomfortably. As it is, I’m still searching for a more durable ankle holster to replace this one when it wears out.

Which I’d estimate at about 6 months of EDC.

I’ve carried a m&p shield. 45 in the crossbreed ankle rig six days a week for the last 3+years. This thing is well made! The design is well thought out. It could fit several different models satisfactorily.

With a crimson trace weapon light/laser installed it fits the shield exactly, and retention is so good that I’ve chosen to remove all but the main horizontal strap. The craftsmanship and materials are miles above the cheap spandex ankle holsters you see out there.

After rubbing the top of my work boots all this time, it is just barely starting to show some wear around the edges. I’m not someone who’s easy on stuff, and this holster has already outlasted 3 pairs of redwing boots.

I just bought two more while they were on sale because even under hard use, that’s probably enough to last me the rest of my life.

I like the holster BUT. The design might be better if the calf strap had some means to not leave exposed velcro hooks to get caught up into my pant legs. In other words, unless you tighten the calf all the way (which is not possible for all leg types) there WILL be exposed hooks that could interfere with your wardrobe.

I ordered some extra ‘loop side’ to place on the part of the strap that was left exposed. Also, the ankle reinforcement strap is starting to break down and may not last more than a year or so. Other than that, the holster stays in place well and has given me some great service.

I now have 2 of these holsters in leather; one for my Ruger LCR and another for my Glock 43. DeSantis website shows a nylon version for the G43 for 2/3 the price of leather. They are close to perfect OWB holsters.

Good quality leather with tight fit. They ride very close to the body, have very good retention (adjustable), don’t really need a retention strap and the height and cant allow quick presentation for me.

I hardly know it is there. Both of mine work with 1 3/4″ belts; DeSantis says some models have max belt width of 1 1/2″. No print under a Columbia lightweight nylon vest and should be good if you wear your shirts a little loose and not tucked in.

If your pants have a belt loop in the proper position for you (I wear Levi 501s am right handed and 5’9″ at 155 lb and can get my hand in my front pants pocket easily with the holster installed), the holster is essentially immovable on your belt once threaded such that a pants belt loop fits in the cutout slot on the back of the holster.

This attribute makes it a little tough to install and remove from your belt, but the solid positioning is worth it. No need to touch it to verify position as you know exactly where it will be if you need it.

The only thing that would make them better for me is if they had a models for the G43 or Kahr CW9 that accommodated a LaserMax Centerfire Laser. They do have a model that accommodates the LaserMax for my LCR and that is what led me to try one in the first place.

The new desantis mini scabbard for my Glock 42 is an excellent design- small, simple, good materials. But my sample was molded slightly wrong- like some other desantis holsters I’ve had. The gun sits too deeply into the holster and allows the muzzle to peek out the end.

That would allow the muzzle to scrape if I sat down on a concrete bench or rock, and it makes the holster look like a cheap flea market special. On this model, it also causes the belt loop to keep my middle finger from getting a proper grip on the gun.

So I phoned desantis and explained the situation to them. They told me to send an email with pictures, which I did. Three weeks later and no response, I called them again. They gave me a return authorization and told me to send them the holster.

It was gone for about two weeks with no discussion, then today a new holster showed up at my door. It’s a little better- the muzzle is exactly flush with the end of the holster, but with some wear it will be hanging out again.

The adjustable tension feature does not adjust how deeply the gun fits, only how much pull is required to draw. And the belt loop still interferes with getting a proper gun grip in the hoslter. I’m going to try wet-molding the holster and adding a stitch at the front of the trigger guard, so it won’t sink in deeper as the holster wears in.

A great holster, ruined by bad details.

I just like the 45 Colt and carry it when I can. But living in a very warm area, sometimes it is just too big, too long, or to heavy. Picked up a 709 Slim and it is not a 45, but its better than not having anything.

Later ran across this holster and not the little Taurus is with me as much as the 45. The holster holds the weapon yet will let you draw it quickly. No snaps or buttons or twists, just a straight forward draw and you have a weapon ready to use if necessary.

Getting old now so lighter and simpler are becoming more acceptable and this combination is just hard to beat. Never liked the 9mm but I’m slowly becoming a convert after finding how easy this is to carry and how much difference it makes in comfort and concealability.

Highly recommend the holster and if you can’t carry a 45 this would be a good way to still have a quick response.

This holster is perfect. Its small allowing for a quick draw and comfortable carry. Yet it has a tight grip on the firearm requiring no strap, snap or buckle. Im confident that it will stay in there til I want it, and itll be easy and smooth to remove it, when I do! Perfect!.

The Desantis IWB holster is made of quality materials and is clearly quite well made. It holds my Kimber Micro 9 pistol snug and secure without the need for a strap. The holster (and gun) fit nicely on my belt inside my pants.

The holster appears that it will hold its shape for some time, although that will only be known overtime. It is also a very nice looking holster with clean lines. The black coloring is very well done.

If I had one concern it would be that the belt clip is loosely mounted to the holster. This does not seem to affect the usability of the holster when it is worn. I assume it is mounted loosely on purpose, but I would prefer it to be installed solidly to the holster itself.

I bought this holster on black Friday. I have a Kydex holster for my Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm SHIELD. It works great except for when I have to sit down to drive, eat or bend down to pick up something I dropped.

The Kydex pinches my skin when doing anything other than standing straight. It makes it hard to conceal carry because you really want to adjust the holster. The DeSantis Pro Stealth is made of leather and soft material which adjusts to your movements.

I sat down to drive and was amazed that i was not pinched. I was bending down to tie my sons shoes laces without having to adjust my holster and let everyone know I was carrying. The best part is that it is made for my XDS 40 AND 9MM SHIELD.

It is exactly what I expected. To get a finer leather one would have to pay more, This one is stiff to retain the pistol, as intended. The pistol, the 380EZ is of good but not fine quality and this set up makes a very good match.

I would pay more for excellent quality but the market probably would not support it. The size, fit and function are fine. My 380 does not have the thumb safety but the scabbard does. De Santis cannot possibly match every feature of every gun.

Overall this is a very good pairing and I would recommend it any day.

I had forgotten to write a review for this holster that I bought 8 months ago. So with 8 months of using this holster I can say that it is perfect for me and my S&W SD9ve. It is very comfortable, stays in place, very concealable with a light jacket or fleece sweater or loose fitting shirt.

As it has broken in, I have tightened the tension adjustment once or twice and the pistol stays put with just the right amount of tension that I desire. When I return the pistol to the holster, I ease it down to where it feels like I hit bottom.

Then I give it a little push and it seats the pistol securely in the fully holstered position. Great looks and great quality. It holds the pistol just close enough to the body that it just nudges me a little to remind me that it is there.

This OWB leather holster, (and it’s Thumb Break kin), are the best value out there that I could find. Including the big name holster makers. And, of course, Midway’s service was perfect, as usual. Shown below with El Paso Saddlery mag pouch which needs modification to secure the SD9ve mag because of loose fit.

Having used the old Monokote sealing iron sock for years I can say that the Hangar 9 sock is far superior. First, it fits all iron shoes even the larger ones. Second, the strings for holding it on are actually long enough to tie like shoe laces.

Third, the material that contacts the covering on the sock face is a soft flannel type that doesn’t scratch the covering and excess covering adhesive doesn’t stick to it like the Monokote sock. It’s definitely the way to go.

I ordered this one to replace my first one which failed after only a few uses…. This one is working ok for now. It does the job it should but don’t trust it will last..

The product works well, though instructions on how to install it would have been helpful.

This is a very good quality set up. Way over priced in my opinion. Set up and installation is easy but no instructions come with the product. The main draw back that I encountered was when moving the bar forward or back to set the balance the clamp holds the bar so tight that you have to completely remove the top portion of the clamp to adjust and then the bar will get blemishes on it.

Otherwise its great.

Definitely took me awhile to see and feel the added bonus of putting weight out in front of the bow. Always thought it was a hoax. Found out it isnt. Especially considering my shoulders arent what they used to be.

This bar set w/ added or subtracted weights out front really helps in the end. The more arrows shot is when the real benefits show up. And the Grey color really looks great up against the Storm colored Hoyt riser.

Was a little skeptical on if it would make a difference with shooting. Well I can honestly say my first afternoon of shooting with the new stabilizer was great. Found it easier to hold my pin on target and the bow is now a little front heavy and helps with a smooth follow through.

Only negative is the red weights and dampening rubber are different shades of red. But that’s just being picky.

I ordered a holster for my EDC M&P Shield Plus. Along with the holster I purchased the holster claw in order to give myself multiple options on ways to configure it to try and work best for my body. The quality of the actual holster itself is decent.

The kydex mold fit the firearm well and retention can easily be adjusted with the set screw. However, if you are planning to use this holster for appendix carry, I would probably look at other options.

Even with the claw attachment in a few different settings, this holster does not do a good job at avoiding printing. There is no aspect of the holster that pushes the handle of the firearm towards your person to avoid the magazine from protruding into your shirt.

The claw itself only attaches with one single screw, which means that it can actually rotate while wearing the holster making it rather unusable. I don’t mind using it for strong side 3 or 4 o’clock position IWB carry if you are wearing a sweatshirt or flannel or something to cover the printing, but the single clip and lack of good support to angle the handle better makes this difficult for me to use on a daily basis.

Good company, good quality, not-so-great design IMO. Would not purchase again for my specific use.

This claw works as intended with a definite improvement for pivoting the holster to help stop printing of the bottom grip/mag area. I carry and use it AIWB and no doubt, an improvement. Hat’s off to the ingenious design that allows the claw to lock up securely and tightly in the desired position without increasing or affecting the retention tightness.

My ONLY complaint is the small removable pads. They are great except that small oval presents a small point of contact or “footprint” against a stiff EDC belt (I use a Nexbelt). This sometimes causes the whole package to pivot forward slightly when sitting.

I ended up using my claw without the pad, which presents a bigger/longer footprint against the belt and seems to prevent that pivot. I would love to see WTP produce a new oval that is longer, ummm maybe 1-1 1/4 inch long, rather than these little ovals.

Seems that would put a larger point of contact against a good belt.

I watched several videos on YouTube that all highly recommended this holster, in addition to wanting to support a USA made product, I bought this holster. It came in the mail fairly quickly and I tried it immediately.

Oddly enough my gun slid in with no “click”…. as can be heard with well fitting polymer holsters. I inspected it further and it was obvious to the eye that the holster was not tight around the firearm at all.

There is a large gap between the holster and the trigger guard, and the holster is not snug anywhere. With any slight tilt of the holster, the firearms slides right out…. The quality simply is not there.

It’s obvious that this holster is a dud and the QC department missed it. The return policy says 100% guaranteed, yet you have to pay for shipping to get a refund. I believe that if the company sent out a poor quality product, they should cover the cost to retrieve that product.
