This scooter is good value for the money, but there are a couple things that could be improved. The deck is a bit narrow and the non-skid cover on it makes it tricky to shift from one foot to the other while you’re kicking.

The handlebar clamp nut could use a bit of threadlocker on it so you don’t have to keep re-tightening it every time you unlock and re-lock it. It folds and unfolds quickly and is relatively easy to carry.

The bell can be a little annoying as bumpy pavement can cause it to ring on its own. Kickstand is very handy.

When I ordered this scooter it said it came with front suspension. In the picture it has an orange shock absorber. I received mine and there is no orange shock absorber. It didn’t come with one either.

It still works better, has better handling and nicer components than a $40 scooter.

Max G30P is a mini tank- high quality, simple design, sleek, yet rugged. Love the Eco, Drive, Sport Modes. I have my 6 year old jump onboard with me and I find that Drive mode is the perfect speed for us to scoot around while maintaining a complete feeling of safety.

The Eco mode while very, very safe, however, it proved itself a bit boring as my six year old dissappointingly asked, “Is this the fastest it goes?”, before the laughter and joys fo the Drive mode. At the Sport mode and at full throttle, it can pace your ride at the speed of an average male running at top speed.

but then it can do it for about the distance of a full marathon. Only wish list item is having some shocks for those bumps you’ll encounter. The tires do an okay job absorbing some of the bumps, but having shocks would make a positive difference to overall ride comfort.

I’m sure that will, however, send the scooter over the $1000 mark which Ninebot has done a good job of avoiding to encourage larger market participation in this great product. Highly intuitive app and functions on the scooter- nothing is complicated.

Simple leisurely fun for the whole family. I think my wife might want one for herself as well now that she’s tried riding it and it is not at all intimidating- just a lot of fun. By the way Segway LA- very responsive, professional, and accommodating.

I forgot to add the quick charger to my scooter order. So I texted and asked if they could include the charger int he box of my scooter to save me on shipping- they happily obliged. Cool team there and I’ll be doing business with them again.

We were tired of the high cost of renting scooters and decided to purchase our own. We have been very happy with the Segway NineBot scooter. The pros: Easy to use. Most features are intuitive and user friendly.

Sturdy: These seem well built and aren’t flimsy or cheap. However, my only complaint is that the plastic clip that locks the stand into place broke on one of our scooters fairly soon after purchase with normal use.

I haven’t reached out to Segway yet for replacement so I can’t comment on their customer service. Good battery life: The stated battery life has been accurate in our experience. The display panel on the scooter shows remaining battery level.

There is an eco mode as an option if running low on battery charge but we have not needed to use it. 3 operating modes: One conserves power, one is good for crowded paths as it starts us a little more gently, and one is a sport mode that is awesome for open paths and max speed.

Cruise control: You have to first enable this feature in the app. When you hold a consistent speed for five seconds, you hear a beep and then the scooter goes into cruise mode and maintains that speed until you either brake or speed up.

I love this feature as I have carpel tunnel problems in my right hand and having a little relief from holding the accelerator is so great! Portable: This scooter folds and is not too heavy to be lifted.

It fits in the truck of my car. Great app: The app is easy to use and lets me add both of our scooters one on account. Once you’ve set up the app, it’s not required for riding the scooter. But I love the ability to record my ride and see the miles driven, the max speed, and my route.

You can also e-lock the scooter with the app. Nice design: This is a good looking scooter and seems to perform as well as the scooters we used to rent around town. Overall it’s a great scooter and I highly recommend it!.

I was so excited for this Razor Electric Scooter to come! My hope was to use it as a transportation alternative to having to get into my car to run small, close-by errands. It’s been a great way to get some fresh air without expending too much energy.

I’ve used it to get to my local train station instead of having to park my car at the lot. The throttle and brake definitely took some getting used to in the beginning. Be careful, you definitely want to take it easy, especially on the electric break when you are first getting started.

The collapse feature is useful for storage, but I’m not going to lie – it is a bit on the heavier side, so I’ve just been storing it inside upright. But the little kickstand makes storing up-right pretty easy.

It’s still early to tell how well the battery will last but so far it’s been great. I’ve been charging it after each use as instructed in the manual. Overall it’s a great scooter for short distances and a fun way to zip around town! Don’t forget your helmet!.

If your like me you see those scooters all around town, well I’m not into the hourly rental thing so, guess who got a scooter? Yep this guy. The other day I got the Razor C25 SLA Electric Scooter and let me tell you, ever since getting it, I don’t want to get off.

This scooter is AWESOME! I don’t know where to start. Assembly was a breeze, plug in a wire, put four screws into the handle and your ready! I made sure the rubber tires were full of air and charged the battery as recommended.

The next day, I’m outside riding around like a kid with a new toy! The scooter is smooth, easy to operate and really got some speed. I love that there is a speed gauge and battery indicator right in the middle of the scooter.

The right handle is your throttle, and allows you to get to speed up to 15 mph! The left handle is an electronic break. Oh and let me tell you, this scooter also comes with a headlight and brake light.

I can’t tell you how many people in the neighborhood have asked me about it while I was riding in circles and even to the store. Where I simply fold down the handle bar and take it inside with me. This is a cool electrical scooter is definitely handy when you don’t have a car and the bus stops is a little far away from home. This scooter is light weight and foldable and easy to carry folded. Speed: this scooter goes about 10 miles an hour.

With one charge it goes about 60 mins. It has a kickstand to park it. Height of the arm is ok. However if you’re a taller adult male it might be uncomfortable. Weight limit is 200 lb but I’ve seen that the scooter struggles with heavier weight people.

Kids need to use it with caution as the speed is definitely fast for kids to manage. Instructions are clear and easy to follow All in all it’s good for occasional use , portable light weight , decent speed and life of battery Cons : charging unit and amount of time to charge could be improved.

Pros: – Decent speed for getting around, close enough to compete with cars on small roads and downhill for when pedestrians are too present. Max 25KmH on flats and can get up to 38 going downhill. – Versatile, folds up nicely, though a little bit heavier than other models it still can be moved around relatively easily.

– No need for large charger, simply the clover cord which is much more convenient. – IPX5 water resistant so it can handle a little bit of rain which was a selling point for me personally as I want to get places even through the rain.

– Holds charge well. Using it Monday to Friday in regular 15-minute trips around 2-3 times a day I could still push for a few more however I charge mine weekly and it ends up with around 25-30% on Friday evening.

– Well priced during sales so grab them when you get the chance after considering the following cons. Cons: – Front brakes so always be cautious with your weight distribution as Auckland is quite hilly as we all know.

– Still limited to 25KmH so you know, its fast but not incredibly fast comparatively (imagine having speed as a pro and a con. ) – No suspension in this model so you are feeling every little bump on the way.

This is my 1st Razor scooter and after doing extensive research and how it performs. I decided to purchase this Razor a5 air scooter. I purchased this for $65 and Im glad I did. It was this scooter or the a6.

I live this scooter and I even did a couple of mods to it. Putting in some Bones Super Reds bearings swapping out the rear air wheel to a Polyurethane 200mm rear wheel thats for an Oxelo scooter. It works great for the a5 air.

Then I replaced the smaller handlebars for a custom 25 length handlebars with mountain bike grips, a bike bells and a handlebar extender with a couple of lights. The handlebars feel great and better balance with the combination of 200mm air wheel ( pneumatic wheel) for the front and rear 200mm polyurethane wheel for speed , balance even with cracks and harsh surfaces riding the air wheel in the front absorbs the shock.

Not many I havent seen do these scooter mods/customs on a kick scooter. only a couple people Ive seen on youtube. But I guess Im the only one to mod this scooter this cool and ride it with great joy.

I 52 years old and 225 pounds. I bought the A5 air to ride with my grand child. We ride up and down hills. She’s 3 years old and I purchased her a kids razor. I bottom out the A5 air when I got it to test what the reviews were saying about it.

And to test the build quality because of all the negative reviews. It’s the smoothest ride I’ve ever had on a scooter and I ride in the grass and messed up roads. The build quality is awesome but there is a few things I would modify: 1.

For the height I would change the tire height to 10 or 15 to handle speed bumps. 2. Length to 25 or 27 3. Width to 6 or 7 4. Make the T bar 2 inches taller 5. Add a hand break 6. Add a carrying strap 7.

Make the weight limit 300lbs I know you can find changes on a BMX style one but that one isn’t convenient for me. I want be able to fold it up when I go to the office or class to put it under my desk.

I wish you had made A5 Air when I lived in Seoul Korea. Those hard plastic wheels hurt my hands and were uncomfortable on different surfaces. If you make one with my modifications you can name it the A5 air plus or A5 air 2.

My son LOVES this scooter! We got it for his 9th b-day and all week he has been on it non stop. His sister (11) loves it too! Now we must get her one for her b-day, lol! When you get it out of the box, read over the directions.

The tires must have air added to them. My husband thought 60psi seemed too high and put 40. It went fine. He got brave and decided to put in the recommended 60. boy, it flys now and is like riding on air, lol.

My kids have even tried it in our hilly backyard and it does about as well on dirt and grass as the road & driveway. Great scooter so far!!.

I love this scooter, I purchased it hoping to get a plusher ride which this scooter delivers. My only complaint is it feels like it flexes a lot more than the regular Micro Flex scooter. I’ve noticed a lot of creaks and much more movement throughout the scooter than the regular Flex but luckily I’m not a heavy person.

Only other complaint and this is for both Flex scooters I own is that the headsets were not set correctly out of the box, my regular Flex was loose and required tightening whilst the Flex Air was way too tight and needed loosening.

Other than those minor complaints these are very high quality scooters which I would highly recommend :).

Hokay, so, definitely waited a while to get to know my scooter intimately before writing a review, but i also believe in informative reviews so here goes. Pros: – Decent speed : Spent most of the 1st month on first gear which has a max speed of 15mph cause im a wimp and was scared.

Even with a large hinge at the bottom of the handle stem, it’s sturdy and doesn’t wiggle. However, since the wheels are on the smaller side, hitting a branch or bump blindly can make you lose control.

– Good power: ! am 5’1″, 120lb if that’s relevent, but going uphills is a breeze, never losing speed or the motor struggling – wheels are sturdy: 600mi, 2 years later, they have never lost pressure nor gotten a flat.

but I scoot in a city , less brambles to worry about. Treads are still going strong. – easy interface: let a friend borrow my scooter. he’s 41 and terrible at new tech but a quick verbal rundown and he understood how to input the code and change gears – built in headlight and brake lights: standard, but still nice.

They don’t drain the battery too much either. – love that it’s waterproof : just remember to put the rubber cover back onto the charging port, but i’ve left it out in the rain while working, come back to it soaked and it was still good to go.

Cons: – kinda easy to crash : before getting a seat (The one clamp on one from ninebot fits decently on this model so that’s what i got), going 20mph is a little sketchy. I’ve crashed a few times after hitting small branches or lips in the road and loosing control while going 15mph and going 20mph while standing.

both times my helmet was the only thing between my head and the concrete. once getting the seat, made the scoot much easier to control and honestly made it much more usable. folding is harder but still possible even with the seat attached.

– the red hook latch is trash : scooter tipped, fell onto packed dirt with some rocks in it, hit the red hook located near the handlebars and is snapped instantly. looks like an aluminum alloy, so brittle stuff.

they sell replacements but i ended up jerryrigging a carabiner to replace the hook if it was that fragile. – Brakes need constant adjusting: it might be me squeezing my brakes too hard. But i had to constantly be tightening my brakes through the allen key nut located on the brake caliper as the brake cable kept pulling through it and loosing the brakes.

– cable lock is flimsy: cool concept, but useless if you live in the city. everyone knows something that thin will get snipped pretty quickly. get a u-lock. – digital code is cool but bypassable: tried covering up the model of my scooter with stickers to make it harder for someone to simply look up the bypass manual but having it locked up outside while i was at work, came back to it on and unlocked but my u-lock stopped the would be thief from getting away with it.

– a bit heavy: I wouldn’t call it portable as in i can carry this easily. Again, im tiny, but it’s easy to fit into the truck or backseat of a car. – it’s trash in the snow: that’s a no brainer. but thought i’d include it.

wheels are too small or any good traction, a little snow is fine but anything past 2-3 inches and riding gets a little hairy. Notes: – 600miles later, finally buying replacement brake caliper cause my brakes pads have worn through.

– busted the bell that comes with it after a crash, bent it back into shape and it still works. – The safety kick-off feature is mildly annoying where the scooter has to be moving 2mph+ before depressing the throttle will engage the motor.

double tapping the throttle bypasses the safety but not always. – cruise control is hit or miss, sometimes nice sometimes annoying. it’s a neutral feature tbh. In the end, good alternative to biking and/or driving.

Be prepared if you lock it outside for people to think it’s a scooter that unlocks with one of the pay to ride apps and try to take it, or outright steal it. I’ve had it for 2 years, hoping to get a few more out of it which is a good value in my book.

I waited 30 days to give my review. First off, it’s for my 10 year old daughter, she loves it. Now the review. It’s a decently built scooter. Runs fines, with nice features. Some issues that have popped up in a month of use: *It makes some squeaking and creaking sounds.

Seems like the handle stem has some play in it. I’ve tightened what I can a couple of times, and that helps, but it’s seems there is too much play/torque in the stem. *The brake was mushy right out of the box, so I tightened it.

*The tires are a joke! I’d like to preface this with the fact that I am very handy. I am very well versed in patching and replacing tires on bicycles and farm equipment. The V2 tires are very small, very solid.

They should in fact be solid. But no, they have tubes. My daughter complained that her scooter was slow. So, sure enough. The front tire was flat. I grabbed my air pump, and there is no way in the world to get a air pump onto that valve stem.

The stem is literally a 1/4 ” protruded from the rim and not a millimeter to spare around the outside. You must fully disassemble the front wheel and remove the metal plate covering the motor (in the wheel) it to get the stem.

And at that point it’s still tricky. I had to use my air compressor because it has a narrower fitting than my bike pump. After finally getting air into the tire, I found a slow leak due to a small nail.

I removed the nail, and spent the next hour removing the tube, patching the tube, and then muscling the insanely small thick tire back onto the rim. I had to use tools in addition to my tire levers, that you are not supposed to use: Heavy metal screw drivers, and a heat gun.

By some miracle I did not pinch that tube using the screwdrivers and the patch held. I did however scrape up the black paint on the wheel and left some gouge marks on the tire bead. There is no way in the world an average person could fix that tire.

These scooters should come with maintenance free solid honeycomb tires.

Having fun with the ride, but several things wrong. Packing was marginal, screws were missing, would NOT charge and absolutely NO instructions! 1-Packing: box was beat-up bad, too much room inside so it slid around and broke through in a couple places.

2-Screws missing: 4 screws to hold the handlebar & red fold-up retainer to the handlebar were missing. FYI-They are a 10-32 x 3/4″. 3-Controls: followed the help video on the GoTrax website and cannot get the controller to accept a new code to be changed from the default factory code.

Its kept inside so not a big problem, yet. 4-Would not charge: supplied charger would only indicate green, red indicates charging. It came with half a charge so we rode it and experimented the speed and thought maybe it will charge when its run down? Nope.

Watched a video on changing the battery and I could see the battery connector inside and thought I would check that. Sure enough, the battery connector is “keyed” so it should only be allowed to plug together one way, but the factory slammed it together defeating the plastic keyways and forced it together with reverse polarity! It ran, it just wouldn’t charge.

After that fix it’s charging fine now. My military career of an F-16 electrician did pay off!!! 5-Instructions: Nothing in the box at all. Overall, it was a good purchase with the discount, for a first-time scooter.

After using it for a few weeks, it is easy to fold and carry, charges overnight and does what they say it will. We’ll see how the control issue is handled. Hopefully GoTrax can fix some issues within.

Purchased due to it’s ability to fold up nicely, meaning I wouldn’t have to secure it outside when going into the shops and it does just that. It easily folds up and it’s a little akward to wheel around like a suit case behind me but does make it much more compact to carry on public transport etc.

(seating it between my legs on the train etc) As per online reviews up hill is an issue but as long as you have it on Sports mode it does just fine. I had it on Eco as I went on a long ride and it really struggled up the slightest incline but the battery went for a considerable time.

Best suited for smooth flat surfaces, you’ll feel every bump in the road on this. Handles nicely. Took a bit of getting used too with such a short area for someone used of a wide stance. Def’ worth the cost.

If we press the button by mistake the bike will flap open. Can be dangerous. Difficult to grip the bike when its foldedDriving experince is not good. Fine on smooth road. But bumpy roads too shakySwitch on/off button is too loud.

It is amazing transportation device if you live in the Big city such NYC, SF or any other big city but also not limited to people live in suburban area who like to go to park but like to cruse around.

It is good for all terrains even in gravel or dirt road, just wish the bottom part has some steel frame around it or made out of steel to protect the plastic parts. Turning left and right pad should have more cushion since it can get pain after you are on it for a while.

For me I am just converted to GoKart with the kit which is extremely easy to do. Overall, I am very happy with the purchased.

Bought for me as a birthday present, I’d assumed this scooter would be a bit of whimsical fun. Instead, it’s proved itself to be as viable a means of urban transport as my bicycle. The one-click open/close design raises it above others I tried from a practicality perspective; it sounds like a small thing, but being able to simply flick it with a toe to collapse the steering column makes it all the more useful for real-world applications such as commuting or a grocery run.

It feels ‘premium’, with quality materials, though I’m yet to see how well it will age on the gritty, potholed streets of London. I will be treating it with corrosion inhibitor and adding some skateboard tape to vulnerable edges, to help keep it looking good.

I am not convinced by the finish/quality of welding, which looks robust and will hold the thing together, but is aesthetically quite poor. Not great when the rest of it is so well put together. Moving parts seem to have been dilig.

Great product. Arrived at my house in 1 day with free shipping (that was a 1st). Works out of the box flawlessly with barely any assembly required. Would be great if the product came with a few extra bolts for the handle-bar assembly as I have already had 1 fall off on it’s own but I believe I did not tighten it hard enough & the vibrations of riding on rough surfaces over a few days loosened the bolt without me noticing; plus a replacement bolt can be found at any local hardware store, but why not just include a few extras in the bag/box with the scooter? I am noticing the rubber “pressure point” part located where the latching & locking mechanism is at for folding the scooter wears out easily & the tightening of this part depends on a free-handed tightening of a screw that can be easily over tightened or too loosened by the rider; there are no specific torque requirements called out for the screw.

Beyond that, the thing brakes efficiently (not in the rain though!). NEVER ride this thing in the rain, unless you do not care about braking or hydroplaning. I am 6′ 1″ tall and the height of the handle bars works OK since it can be extended with 2 notches; honestly it could be higher but then again there are other scooters, more expensive ones, that have a better height, but this one still works for me; why pay over 100-200$ just for a 1-3 extra inches? This product feels more solid & tight as a unit compared to other brands I have tried.

It rattles loud (like ALL scooters do) on rough surfaces & makes people look at you as you ride but then again, you do not want to accidentally hit someone because they didn’t hear you coming up behind them.

For the low price, this thing it the best scooter I have tried thus far. I have only used the thing for 1 week, so I am giving 4 stars, because 3 months of use will be the ultimate test. By then, I would know for sure if this is a 5 star unit.

From work to the weekends, this scooter makes my life so much easier, and not to mention more enjoyable to get around in. I’ve been taking it with me on my daily commute to work. It’s easy to fold up and doesn’t take up much room during the busy cramped commute hours on the train.

On the weekends, I’ll take this around the city, which makes bypassing the congested areas much faster and easier. The scooter feels sturdy, comfortable, and safe, even against some of the uneven pavement around the city.

I ended up purchasing a scooter for my brother as well. He is in college and he says it’s perfect for getting around his large campus. Definitely recommend!.

Okay, so I bought this because it said ADULT SCOOTER. Honestly, I just don’t want to walk home from the parking lot. I’ve had it for about a day so I don’t know how the wheels will hold up on the pavement.

I’m 6’2 so this is a little awkward for me since it’s not exactly made for my height. The middle is thin and it’s hard to get my feet together when riding it. Other than that it’s enjoyable. Also, NEEDS HAND BRAKES!.

I’ve had the ES4 for three years, and use it as a roving umpire on a 27 court tennis facility with hills and grades. Alas, I gained 20 pounds due to a year-long tendon rehab, and the ES4 easily hauled my 230 pounds up 10 degree grades all day.

(am now losing the weight) I could not have umpired tournaments during my 2 hip replacements and a quad tendon repair with out this heavy-duty scooter. The coaches and parents are complementary, and the USTA juniors are envious that the olde guy has such a zippy scooter.

Stable. Easy to start and stop. Can go slow and careful through crowds, or 18+ mpg. Folds for transport in SUV or back sea. Only drawback. With two batteries and heavy duty construction, it’s not lightweight.

I don’t have a problem but then I’m in good shape at 77 years old.

It has been just a little over a month with the ES4 but so far, it has been a top-notch eScooter. As nothing is perfect, the combination of long range, the swappable battery on the upright, coupled with the speed and power make riding the ES4 a joy.

Never having to worry about flats is a positive and so far, neither my boy nor I have had any issues with the solid tires outside of my 10yo boy wearing out the drive-tire as he is only 70 lbs and when he accelerates at full power, spins the tire and has been having a ball at the expense of the front tire wearing.

The suspension helps the rougher roads and as I’m able to anticipate and wheelie over most holes and cracks, the clacking is held to a mininum. The light is bright enough to allow night riding with no issue being able to see, even on the darkest roads/sidewalks/paths.

The eBrake that also regenerates is brilliant. Nothing to wear out and plenty powerful to slow me/us down as we are good enough to plan for any need to either slow or stop quickly. I did get us each a spare battery for the times when we might go for longer rides and knowing that we won’t have to either walk or push ourselves back to the vehicle is nice when I can just carry the spares in a backpack.

What I like the most is that most all the parts that will ever need to be replaced are available as in time, stuff will go but the solidity of the entire aluminum chassis means that the scooter is going to last a while while the motor/front hub, internal battery and other parts will need to be replaced before the entire body of the scooter will ever wear-out.

So far, the ES4 has been fantastic and we will be waiting for the spring and summer when we can really enjoy them all day and all night.

Excellent Quality, Strong Reliable Smooth and Fast

Scooter looks great but that’s where it ends. Purchased two scooters for adults and very disappointed with the design. There is minimal ground clearance so it catches everything but also a metal cover plate that gets hooked up on the smallest of bumps and falls off.

The brakes are absolutely non existent,not even worth calling it a brake and the bigger wheels cause a very rough ride and very noisy scooter with lots of bits rattling. Turning circle is limited with the steering lock.

Nothing good at all to say about this product. Over priced crop. One hours use on pavement and the whole underside is damaged. Would not recommend this product to anyone and am disappointed that with the level of unexpected damage caused in such a short time that I can’t return them.

Really bad product.

I was looking at purchasing a scooter and searched the internet , reading many, many reviews. I wasn’t restricted by price but wanted a practical, well designed scooter so could choose from a wide range.

After deciding on one well known brand, I was recommended to look at the Globber by a friend who had bought one. Looking at the simple but innovative design, I took the plunge and opted for one. I can honestly say it was a I am absolutely delighted.

The foot plate is wide, the scooter is very well engineered and extremely light. However the best feature is the folding mechanism , which operates at waist height. It also locks securely when folder fully down.

Also, another brilliant and unique feature is the resting feature. Unlike other scooters which use a little kick out stand , The Globber utilises the fold down mechanism. Lifting the release catch allows the handle bar post to be moved slightly towards you, thus lowering the foot plate onto the ground and allowing the scooter to be left standing, lifting the folding mechanism catch and moving the handlebar post forwards locks everything securely and off you scoot.
