20 Best Keyboard And Mouse For Xbox Series X (2023 Updated)

Overall, the keyboard is very well built, decent RGB effects, and the perimeter of the wrist pad also lights up. One big issue with this keyboard is if you run an Xbox controller, your controller will not work as the keyboard is recognized as both a keyboard and a Xbox Controller in the device manager (for some of the analog controls).

In order to get your Xbox Controller to work, you need to poke around in your device manager and disable the Xbox Controller that was installed as part of the keyboard installation. Do a quick google search for Razer Huntsman Xbox Controller and you’ll see what I mean.

No perm fix in place yet as of 3/2022. One smaller issue I have is it’s a 2-cable connection to your pc. It uses one USB-A port and one USB-C port. It does come with a USB-C-to-USB-a adapter. Aside from that, very nice keyboard.

One of the quieter mechanical keyboards I’ve used.

This keyboard has a very good feel to it. When I type or use a keyboard for gaming, I want the keys to give me feedback. This keyboard does that. The keys are very responsive. I don’t have to guess if I tapped a key.

The keyboard cable disconnects, which makes this good for traveling. Other keyboards with attached cables are a pain. The keyboard has a solid construction to it. Nothing flimsy on it. The keys light up to many different colors.

This is pretty cool and helpful in low light conditions. The wrist rest that is included is comfortable. It doesn’t attach to the keyboard, but doesn’t slip around. The Razor Synapse app compliments this keyboard.

Macros can be created and stored in the app. Function keys have multiple levels of storage. Use the app to program each key for the function you need.

Ordered direct from Microsoft. After 8 months daily use, the dongle went out suddenly; killing both the mouse & keyboard. No recovery, no replacement dongle. Odd because it never moved from my desk. MS is unsupportive; website is unhelpful.

“Contact us” Call tree is circular & pushes you to website. Only way to reach an agent is a phone number embedded deep in the order history, agent creates a ticket & then hangs up. No easy way to identify the dongle has failed until after too many hours on troubleshooting blogs attempting to recover use of overpriced keyboard.

I do not recommend this product. Average size male hand – The mouse is too small for average hand & design falls short of ergonomic; 3rd & 4th fingers do not rest & strain by end of day. Same with keyboard – the high curve on left side causes 3rd & 4th fingers to hover, never resting while typing.

strain & swelling occurs after several months of use. The battery life is good & separate 10 key is a nice feature but save your time & fingers & select another option.

UPDATE October 2016 After less than a year of use the left mouse button stopped working properly. It clicks but the click doesnt always register and I often have to try several times to get it to work.

This issue renders this mouse useless. On top of that the Windows button on the mouse stopped giving any click feedback, although it still works if I press it strong enough. Ive used my previous Logitech keyboardmouse combo for more than 4 years.

This one is falling apart in less than a year. I have mixed feelings about this keyboardmouse combo. I give the mouse 2. 5 stars and the keyboard 3. 5 stars so 3 stars average. I had the original MS Natural Elite and then I moved to the Logitech split keyboard Cordless Desktop Comfort Laser.

Unfortunately Logitech stopped making split keyboards some years ago, so I changed to their Wave keyboard, which never felt as comfortable. I bought the Sculpt a bit more than a month ago and now I am getting used again to split keyboards I hope that it will feel as natural as the previous split keyboards I had so far I dont feel as comfortable with it.

The 2 side buttons are pretty bad They are less customizable than those on Logitech mice, and you have to press them in a particular way otherwise the click doesnt register Also, if I am selecting a large paragraph of text it will sometimes lose the selection and I will have to start from the beginning.

Keyboard 3. 5 StarsPros It looks good The keys feel nice, like nice laptop keys. The separate number pad is something positive for me, since I rarely use it. I like the split layout the main reason I bought it.

it is wireless. I hate wires and this is the only widely available wireless split keyboard. Cons No dedicated media buttons I solved this problem, see bellow The layout is cramped on the right side. They tried to make it as compact as possible, but this comes at the cost of usability.

I often press the wrong key if I try to press e. g. one of the arrow keys without looking. The soft arm rest feels nice but it seems to be somewhat absorbent like a cloth and it gets dirty easily and you cant just wipe it clean The Ctrl key gets virtually stack every now and then.

I have to press it again to make the keyboard work properly. This is VERY annoying. The software offers very limited customization of the keys. The function keys are actually buttons and they dont feel as nice.

Not a huge problem for me. This keyboard wins points for being the only widely available wireless split keyboard. If you want a wireless ergonomic keyboard then this keyboard has very little competition and you should try it.

But if you are not looking specifically for an ergonomic keyboard then I will suggest to stay away because this keyboard has several issues. Avoid the mouse unless the keyboardmouse combo is less than 15 more expensive than the keyboard only option.

The mouse in my opinion doesnt worth more than 15. only problem is that then you will need to use 2 different USB receiversPersonally I would have returned this product especially after the Ctrl key started getting stack but I stayed with it because of the lack of alternatives for this sort of keyboards.

Regarding the media buttons I use the free program AutoHotkey and AudioSwitch for the audio, but everything can be done with just AutoHotkey to remap certain keys. So now the Pause button acts as a playpause toggle, the ScrLk button acts as a next track, PgUp PgDn are Volume UP Down and Insert is a Mute toggle.

This way I never need to use the function keys switch. I used AudioSwitch to remap the sound related functions volume up down mute because I already had that program and it gives you an indication on the screen when you are increasing decreasing the volume or muting, which I believe AutoHotkey doesnt.

Dont overthink, dont read more reviews, this is it, this is THE keyboard. Ive tried all other Microsoft ergonomic keyboards, including the latest surface ergonomic, but this one beats them all. Pros Extremely comfortable to type on it, its just a pleasure, difficult to describe.

Key travel distance is optimal, somewhat between a laptop keyboard and a normal keyboard. The key switches are fantastic, and Ive used mechanical keyboards as well, but these ones just feel absolutely perfect to me Ultra quiet.

If you like quiet keyboards this is also your choice. But still the sounds it produces its really nice, many people has already told me in the office, how soft Even if you are not used to ergonomic keyboards it doesnt take too long to get used to this one.

Once you are used to it, you will see that your typing speed will experience a significant increase. In my case I went from 100 Words per minute to 120. You can measure this with any of the available test on the internet, just google that.

Its compact and thats pretty cool as well, so some of the keys are now closer than in a standard layout, which saves you time and increase your productivity. E. g. Pg UpDown, HomeEnd, Insert. and also the Delete key is bigger now, which I find really useful.

Cons You cannot buy the keyboard separately, it comes with the numpad and the mouse even if you dont use them like me if you are a hardcore numpad user you may find uncomfortable to have it separated from the rest of the keyboard.

But this could be an advantage at the same time as you can place it wherever you want. It doesnt come with Bluetooth, which means you have to spend one of your USB ports to plug the receiver that comes with the keyboard.

This also means that you cannot use the mousenumpad in another PC.

This keyboard came at no additional charge with my last Dell XPS 4 years ago. When it stopped working recently, I ordered another to replace it. It was a pleasant surprise the same model was still in stock.

I used an older Dell keyboard I had sitting around while waiting for the replacement to arrive, and wasn’t used to the feel of it anymore. I’d come to like the firmer touch of this keyboard and the compact size, without the palm rest of the older model.

While I’m not thrilled that it died after 4 years, it’s not like losing a $100 gaming keyboard. It’s only about $20. It’s a keyboard. It works. And if not for the pandemic and supply chain problems affecting graphics cards, I’d have bought a new XPS 2 years ago and never known the keyboard didn’t last forever.

It seems to be decent quality, but nowhere near as nice as my older Dell multimedia keyboard. It is smaller than I expected, and the keys are a little too close together for those with large hands and long fingers.

The palm rest does not fit well, due to lack of support in the middle. On older models, there is a tab in the middle of the palm rest that attaches to the keyboard. This one only has a small rubber support.

It causes the palm rest to sag in the middle, which is disappointing, especially considering how expensive it is. If I had to make the purchasing decision over again, I would go with another brand.

I received my Dell Multimedia Keyboard-KB216 in a timely manner from Dell. It was fully compatible with my Dell XPS PC. It’s sleek design fits perfectly on my desk and its ergonomic angle supports my wrists excellently! The layout meets all of my needs with the FN keys combining other functions that allows it to be compact yet useful.

The smooth keystroke action allows me to type with confidence and feels great when typing. I would recommend this keyboard for anyone looking to upgrade or replace their current older model as I did!.

Amazing keyboard and mouse. The extended mouse pad is amazing. The extended mouse pad and the mouse has a slight magnetic pull to it probable to avoid it from rolling off when on the couch. It does take awhile to get used to the pull.

I would not recommend this to anyone who will not play one of the mainstream shooters. That is all this is for. There is a small list of games to play and majority will still require the controller to set up.

This also works for PlayStation but only for and even smaller selection of games and is limited to what it can do such as only keyboard use. If you have a PC and want to play from the couch this is pretty amazing slight weight not to much but feels tough.

Rubber bottom to help it from sliding around. Comfortable for the couch or gaming chair. Note the surface does tend to collect prints pretty fast. If you got sweaty hands you will see the prints. I give it a 4 stays since it is good all the way around just the surface tends to get fingerprints way to fast and it is annoying.

Also I do not like the give a bad rating for things out of the company controller such has dedicated mouse and keyboard support. I ended up returning since both Xbox and PS5 has very limited support for mouse and keyboard.

If your a dedicated mainstream FPS played then this is for you. Works week with COD and Fortnite. No division support or any other shooter. On Xbox all gears support KB&M halo does only while playing no mouse support in the menus.

Awesome peripheral! There’s a charging port from the keyboard to the mouse pad which comes with a cable just long enough to use it while it’s connected. The upper right hand corner of the mouse pad is also magnetic so you can just let your mouse chill out there if you are o ly typing.

I use this on a pc hooked up to my TV and it’s fantastic. The quality is top notch like every other razer product I’ve ever owned and I’ve been sticking with then since they came around in the mid 2000s.

Keyboard has a great click and the mouse is just as good as the wired mice they offer.

I feel like this product is extremely expensive and mine was defective. Supposed to be for wireless use so you can relax back and use it but the mouse was slow on screen and would stutter and the keys would work fine but on the screen would appear stuck and type a certain letter over and over until it decided to stop.

I did love the mechanical feel of the keys, though. If it worked properly I might have kept it. I returned it to Best Buy and the process was easy, I got a normal mouse and keyboard from Razer in-store (the lapboard was an online purchase) and they work great.

Don’t waste your money on this expensive board.

The OEM mount that comes with the Ring “wired” spotlight camera has a limited range of movement, especially if you want to mount your camera more than 7 feet above the ground and need to angle the camera more towards the ground rather than the horizon.

This aluminum mount allows you a much greater range of movement; however, it only allows you either more “up or down” or “right or left” movement, but not both at the same time. The quality of the mount is excellent and comes with all the necessary hardware to install it.

I received this the other day and i took it outta the box plugged the keyboard In and the mouse and the mouse worked but the keyboard didn’t so I contacted Best Buy and they send me a new one should receive it within the next few days.

I bought the combo due to its simplicity and bluetooth connectivity. Let’s start with the keyboard. It has a low-key profile, a simple design, and good material. It doesn’t seem so fancy as some Logitech or Razer branded keyboards, once you start typing you will appreciate how well done it is.

The layout is well-executed, the size of the keys and separation are perfect, the key travel is short, linear, and consistent, the noise is soft, the prints are clear and there is no overcharge of command buttons, just the ones you need plus some emojis and office keys.

The emojis are well received, of course, this is just a windows +. shortcut. The office key is just lame, still, you can just ignore it. In conclusion a great keyboard with all you need to be productive.

Let’s move to the mouse, is just that, a bluetooth solid color mouse. The scroll wheel admits up, down, left, right, and click input. The left and right click are solid with a clicky noise. Its weight is good, size is correct, still, some lateral support could be added.

The connectivity is fast and there is no lag or stuttering. Tested in distinct surfaces (cloth, wood, glass) and it worked well. In conclusion a well-executed but very limited mouse. My conclusion is that is a good product, intended to be used as a replacement for your office keyboard and mouse.

It won’t beat any gamer keyboard and mouse combo, it doesn’t aim for that. The price is correct, you get a lot for what you pay in design, quality, perhaps it could just increase the mouse functionality.

The keyboard is fine, slim, and way quieter than most other keyboards. What bugs me is the tiny F1-F12 key texts; they are almost unreadable unless I stop typing and lean in to look. They are superseded by other quick control functions like play, message, volume, etc.

The mouse is ok; it would have been better if it is 10-20% bigger for my average sized hand (I wear medium gloves). The click of the mouse button is a bit bothersome, too. It’s definitely not quiet like the keyboard or other mouse I have used.

The bluetooth connections for both mouse and keyboard seems solid. They only lost connection to the computer a couple of times during the last 30 days; and I think my computer’s issue as both peripherals reconnect after restarting the computer’s bluetooth.

I have 2 laptops – work and home – and have been getting annoyed at constantly having to switch the wireless keyboard and mouse dongle from one to the other, depending on which I’m using. This is a peefect solution as there isn’t a dongle – it connects directly to bluetooth.

Therefore, whichever laptop I’m using, it pairs with that one. Obviously, you can’t use on both at the same time, but that’s fine for my requirements. The keys feel nice and the mouse is a good size.

Screen snip key instead of print screen is useful. I really needed a separate number pad to the right too and this was the only bluetooth keyboard and mouse set without dongle I coukd find that had that.

, though I co7ld be wrong They are easy to pair and I had no trouble setting them up. Really pleased with it.

11/26/2021 – The build quality isn’t great. The performance is below average. The mouse keeps freezing and I have to unplug and replug the wireless receiver. The keyboard has a relatively nice tactile feel (I don’t like linear keys), but also a little squishy (because it’s a membrane keyboard).

The headset seems fine, maybe the least-bad part in the package. The SteelSeries GG software (11. 2. 0) is by far the worst part. It installs tons of background software and drivers. With it installed (even closed) it, or some part of it, uses 100% CPU and rapidly flickers the systray, both non-stop all the time, really slowing things down, and the mouse speed is somewhat inconsistent, randomly feeling faster/slower.

Without the software you can’t adjust or customize anything. Would not recommend.

Head set likes to disconnect and reconnect regardless of battery life. Which serious flabbergasts me cause it has a predominant 2. 4 ghz dongle which should be better than blue tooth. I also had to buy new ear muff pads off amazon cause the stock ones arent thick enough, the hard plastic part of the head set rests on your ears.

The mouse is great, works excellent for all games when not in power saving mode. The power saving mode should not make the mouse take much much longer to reconnect after being put to sleep from inactivity, it also reduces the range the mouse can reach.

The keyboard is a non mechanical soft touch actually feels really fluid and smooth. All in all would recommend the set for 200 any more and no.

This is a good bundle for the money. The headset needs a lot of work to be even considered good, volume levels are way too low, and the mic does not flex and move like I like. It is a nice and sturdy keyboard.

Mouse is better than wireless mice I have had in the past. It is a 2. 4 ghz dongle and bluetooth capable. The mousepad is nice and big. I just wished it had outside stitching on it.

Firstly, it’s not as giant-sized as it looks in the images, although it’s not tiny. One of the major differences I can see compared to previous MS ergonomic keyboards is the tilt, which is angled away from you to reduce wrist angle, as opposed to the usual tilt towards you.

It does feel comfortable to type on so far but I’ve not yet had to do an all-nighter to hit a deadline, although it IS designed to prolong your comfort so we’ll see. It looks amazing, with the high-gloss finish to the outer frame of the keyboard and number pads.

The plastics used for the keys feel like your standard keyboard plastics – no upgrade there then! The mouse feels bulbous but comfy. It looks more old-fashioned than a really up to date mouse like the Logitech MX Master, but has a nice quality feel in use, with a tactile rubber section where your thumb rests.

There’s also a back button there which doesn’t feel well-positioned as you have to grip the mouse with your hold hand to get the necessary purchase to press it, and when you do that your index finger naturally grips and presses the left mouse button.

That one will take some getting used to. It also doesn’t have any more buttons, so might be a bit underwhelming if you’re looking for a mouse which has more of them. The separate number pad is a great idea and works fine, allowing you a degree of flexibility when setting up your workspace.

My only whinge about the whole package is that there are no LEDs for Caps Lock or Num Lock, but if you do download the specific drivers it flashes up in the corner of your screen when you switch either on or off.

Oh, and annoyingly, the function keys have additional functions on them which means you have to flick a function switch to toggle between the functions for each key. This could have been avoided with some additional small buttons along the top but this would have added to the cost.

Small whinges aside, I love this set. It works for me and I would definitely buy another if this one got damaged.

Overall uses too much shiny plastic but is solidly built and is half the price of a comparable keyboard/mouse set from the “L” brand. Keyboard: the function keys are a different size from the other keys and have a different feel when pressed.

This is annoying but I can live with it for the price. Despite the split keyboard design, there is no flex when typing. Comes with a magnetically attached stand to give a negative angle if desired. The keys on the right are in a non-standard layout.

Keypad/numpad: I actually like this being separate a lot. When I have the space, I prefer putting this to the right of the mouse. It’s got an independent power source but doesn’t go to sleep in the way that some Bluetooth numpads do.

Mouse: a lot of shiny plastic which makes it slippery. The clicking noise is a bit bassy and loud. Where the side buttons would go on most mice there is a back button which requires too much force for where it’s placed.

The Windows key on top of the mouse is not terribly useful. The actual shape is somewhere in between a vertical mouse and a standard mouse, while it’s bigger than a laptop mouse and smaller than a desktop mouse.

Generally a weird size/shape but tolerable.

Absolutely love the feel of the keyboard. Very similar to my laptop touch. Low profile keys, comfortable wrist-rest. I am not crazy about the separate numeric keypad but getting used to it. I would much prefer to have it integrated.

It’s been quite a muscle-memory learning curve for my right hand. I came from a Logitech Wave and am having a hard time landing the backspace and delete keys. I have fairly long fingers but both feel like a bit of reach for me.

I think it has something to do with the arc of the curve, especially along the top row. I am also a little off on the 0 – = keys. It’s taking some getting used to but I an determined to make it work because I love the overall feel of the keys after using the Wave for so many years (which I got tired of replacing every 12-16 months: letters wear off and the keys became resistant), One thing that is particularly annoying is having to slide a switch vs having a Fn key to toggle the FKey’s response.

Not sure why anyone would think that’s a good idea. I use Fkeys often but when I need to turn down my volume, for example, I must flick the switch from white to blue to use F11 to adjust the sound. Pure weirdness.

The mouse has a comfortable ergonomic design. I am quite pleased with that.

For years I loved using the wired Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 keyboard with the Star Programmable keys that allowed me to call up favorite documents and websites without other keystrokes to find them in File Explorer or a web browser.

But my 4000 died a few days ago, and I was sad to see it is no longer made by Microsoft. It has been replaced by several other models, but with without the Star Programmable keys. So I went to Best Buy and tried out five or six keyboards.

The closest replacement for my 4000 appeared to be the wired Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard priced at $45. But I wanted the best keyboard I could buy, and the Logitech ERGO K860 was $130, so I figured if it cost three times as much, it must be a MUCH better keyboard! It was comfortable to use, and the back of the package said it had programmable F keys, so even it didn’t have any unassigned programmable keys, I thought I could program the F keys to call up documents and websites like my Microsoft 4000 did.

So I bought the K860. I hooked it up at home and tried to figure out how to program the keys. There were no instructions in the package. I went online to the manufacturer’s website to download instructions, which said the function of the F keys could be changed to other choices, but did not say they were programmable.

It just had a list of other commands you could change the key to perform. So for example, the F1 key, which normally brings up Word Help, could be changed to one of several other specified operations, such as printing a document, or displaying your email or calculator, etc, but there was no option to call up a specific document or perform a macro like you could do on the 4000.

I called the ERGO help line to find out how to program the keys, and they said, “Sorry, you can switch the function of the F keys to the alternate listed choices, but you can’t program to do something else.

” So I returned the ERGO to Best Buy, and got a polite refund with no questions asked. I bought the $45 Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard, which also said on the back of the package that it had programmable keys.

I was pleased to see that indeed it in addition to the F keys, it has three more unassigned keys that are fully programmable, just like the keys on the 4000 were (although the 4000 had five of those).

And this keyboard is just as comfortable to use as the ERGO at 1/3 the price! The only advantage I can see with the K860 is that it is wireless, but I prefer wired because there are no batteries to fail and a wired connection is always better than wireless.

By the way, the new $45 Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard is more comfortable with better key feel than my old 4000, so I am delighted with the new Microsoft keyboard.

My keyboard 4000 started to show wrong characters, so I had to throw it out and get a new one. That was a nice keyboard. Too sad Microsoft chose to discontinue that keyboard and instead introduce this one.

While 4000 may look a bit dated, Microsoft could do a refresh instead of creating this keyboard which is difficult to use. The keyboard layout is just stupid. Why? Why? Why do you put a context menu key in next to the left control key? It is so cramped there, and when I first started to use the keyboard, I pressed the windows key many times instead of the Alt key.

And the office key and emoji key on the right? Seriously? Has ANYONE asked for them? You really think office workers are going to constantly send emojis to other people? And I created an ahk script just to disable that office key.

The placement of num lock, screen lock and pause are just idiotic. I get it that people don’t use these keys very much, but you could have just removed them instead of shuffling their positions? And they put print screen and delete next to F12, and the keys are tiny, which makes it difficult to find either F12 or print screen.

Otherwise the keyboard is ok. I still prefer the feel of 4000. Microsoft, please get yourself together and release a proper keyboard.

This is sometimes described as “mechanical” (not by Micro Center or Microsoft) – it is not. It is a direct replacement for the Microsoft Ergonomic 4000 keyboard. Gone from the 4000 are some unnecessary features that, despite having been a huge fan of that keyboard, I NEVER used – the prev/next keys below the space bar and the zoom between the split sections.

The re-designed wrist rest section is foam-based instead of fake leather, which I suspect will last longer and not be as prone to flaking. One feature which will take some getting used to is that the F-row keys are simply too close to the number row keys, meaning if that you’re used to applications where you’re using the F-keys a lot, or the number keys, you have to think a little more.

I get that this, in addition with other cosmetic and media key changes, allow the keyboard to occupy less space than the very large Ergonomic 4000, but it does take a slight period of adjustment if you’re making the switch.

Cosmetically, it is a vast improvement in appearance from the Ergonomic 4000, which was my favorite keyboard until they stopped manufacturing it.

This keyboard is terrible compared to the tried-and-true Natural 4000 ergonomic keyboard. For some reason, the volume keys are in the upper left, versus on the right, the numlock is in a weird sport, and the keys feel mushy – poor tactile feedback.

The board and they keys feel thinner than the 4000, which doesn’t feel good to type on. It also feels easier to make typos on this model compared to the 4000 series. TLDR; This is a poor replacement to the Natural 4000 keyboard.

Keys are mushy and feel more shallow. Key/button arrangement feels unnatural compared to the 4000. Keyboard cable is thinner/flimsy. Keyboard body is thinner than 4000. I realize it’s hard finding a split keyboard, let alone a keyboard marketed as “ergonomic”.

So it may be difficult to find a suitable replacement. However, I would in no way recommend this product to anyone. Microsoft, if you’re reading this, know that you seriously dropped the ball on this one.

Good ergonomics, like the one it replaced, but much louder. As others have noted, they moved F6 from the right half of the keyboard over to the left which is annoying, and added an extra delete key on the upper right, which was not needed and is too close to the backspace.

Function keys are now too close to the regular keys. They also added the menu key just below Z, which nobody wanted, and that makes ALT-TAB more of a stretch, and also makes it easy to hit WINDOWS-TAB instead.

Finally, they took away the indicator lights for Num lock, CAPS lock, and Scroll lock. These used to be in the center section between the keys, but now they are tiny little lights on the keys themselves.

The problem is, you can’t see if CAPS lock is on, because it’s hiding behind your left index finger, which is on the A. So, they took a pretty good product, made it louder, and made a few unnecessary layout changes.

They should have left it alone, but the old one is hundreds of dollars on the used market, so we’re stuck with this one.

I’ve been wanting to dive in to using a smaller keyboard for some time now, but I’ve always been attached to full size keyboards and those with media keys. Ditching the 10 Key is easy enough. Ditching the FN keys and the media keys of course is a bit harder, moreso the function key’s.

That out of the way, so far, with some re-learning and getting used to the smaller footprint and finger placement since I’m so used to a 100% keyboards, it’s been a great keyboard. My previous has also been a Razer, specifically the Huntsman Elite, so there wasn’t a whole lot in the way of needing any new S/W or anything.

Being able to confiigure the keys to function as controller input is a potential game changer. I don’t know if it will catch on, but it could. It naturally won’t replace your controller, but for some games where you would prefer a controller, but at the same prefer using the keyboard, this helps to bridge that gap.

Testing it out in some games like Horizon Zero Dawn, GTA and others similar where depending on how much pressure you apply to the key it controls how fast or slow your character moves. This actually really helps in GTA cause of the driving.

There’s nothing really that offers as great a control as the joysticks on a controller, but again, this really helps to simulate that experience. The configuration through the Synapse software is easy, but also very in depth cause you can adjust each and every single key on the keyboard.

It isn’t something that’s just jump in and setup, it does require some time and effort. There’s differing levels of actuation that can be setup as well. The noise of the keyboard is a lot softer than my Elite.

This keyboard rarely gets picked up in my discord calls or streaming, but this is preference and I much prefer loud and clicky keyboards be it for everyday typing or gaming. If you’re looking for a good quality keyboard thats got a smaller footprint that a 100% model and gives you some adjustability with actuation and better usability for some games that require a more precise amount of control but don’t want to rely on a controller, this may very fit the bill for you.

I’ve tested/used/reviewed a number of gaming keyboards in my life, so when presented with a chance to review the new Razr Huntsman Mini Analog keyboard – to pair nicely with my DEATHADDER v2, I was all in.

It’s nice that I can unify on a single piece of management software and free up some RAM. Typing & gaming have a more muted click when compared to Red Linear switches, however the snappiness and clean pops of the keys are nice to the senses.

I like the fact that the USB-C -> USB-A cable is detachable. Additionally, a nice woven cable is supplied with a rubber cable wrap, which shows me that longevity is a factor. Having a recessed USB-C port under the keyboard is great as doing this exposes only the cable out the rear, not the connector so there is less of a chance to cause accidental damage when moving it around the desk.

Back to the cable – the keyboard side has a groove to hold the connector in place as well – very cool for rigidity and stability! Before I started playing, I swapped out the old keyboard for this one and noticed that it wasn’t pitched as high at the back, so I checked out the tab height options.

I found the smaller of the tabs to be good for me, however it made the keyboard slide a bit too easy. A fix to this would be to add some grippier front rubber feet to compensate for the rear no longer having the grippers.

A clean, yet slightly muted click that’s heard and felt, even compared to Red Linear switches is nice. I thought I liked the Linear the best, but this feel and sound is pretty great. Now when it comes to customization, Razr is pretty on-top of things.

The Razr Central Software serves as a menu for other Apps for customization; for me, it’s mainly: Synapse. Want to change how responsive your WASD keys are? Head on over to Synapse. Feel like adding some cool typing LED reactions to your keyboard & Mouse? Synapse again, but this time – Chroma Studio is where you want to go to ensure your Mouse gets the same effects as your keyboard – or a totally totally different cool color/feature.

Cortex is also an option, should you want something to keep a library of your games, or if you want to know how your FPS was during the game, after (or in-) game. It’s pretty slick, but take your time learning it.

One thing that’s annoyed me about 60% keyboards that have FN / function key requirements from other keys, is the lack of a side key light. Right now, to see what Right Arrow is, I can’t because it’s not daylight or super bright at my desk.

If the keys alternate functions were lit up, that’d be fantastic – but I haven’t seen it yet. Overall – I dig this keyboard and it is now going to be my daily gamer – so the answer to: Do you recommend this is – yes!.

The KB216 is a very easy to use and straightforward keyboard. My review is being typed with one. We have deployed many of them and most end users like the feel of the response as well as size. The reason it gets only four stars is the Fn keys.

I along with others preferred when a full Dell keyboard had the dedicated keys. There is a price for the compact nature I am sure and it does take getting use to when coming off one of the older Dell keyboards with wrist rest and sometimes a USB port.

Certainly for business and education use the reliability and cost is here with the KB216.

This is a very good keyboard with lighting and reasonable styling. I’m not a hard core gamer but enjoy ESO. This ketboard is great for this level of gaming. The acompanying mouse is also colourful and fit great in your hand and is very responsive and accurate both in game and in Office Word and graphics programs.

The only thing that was missed for the 5-star is the wrist rest. The keyboard sits too high And PC Case Gear packed this keyboard like it’s a $400 keyboard, it’s awesome. My Alienware mech didn’t even come with those packaging.

The keyboard feels great and produces a nice sound, haven’t had any issues with it. However, the middle mouse button broke after a couple months of use and wasn’t sure how to fix it. It’s a good starter combo for its price and the RGB is pretty and has loads of options :-).

This was insanely cheap for a light up keyboard and mouse but I ended up returning it. The keyboard feels ok to type on and the cloth cables are nice. The mouse has 4 different cpi settings which is also how you change what color it lights up.

But here’s the thing: You can’t just set the color and keep it. After a minute it starts cycling through all 4 of the colors whether you want it or not. For the keyboard, if you follow the manual you can set it to the color you want, pulsing, flashing, and all that stuff.

But it doesn’t remember your setting once you turn off your computer!!! The default setting is this garish red green blue purple chasing lights that really shows off how cheap the lights look. These lights are crying out for a proper diffuser! I went on the Redragon website to see if I could get updated drivers or even a control program (yes, I was that desperate) so that it would remember the color settings but there were no drivers for the S107.

I guess if you don’t mind memorizing the buttons to press to set it to your favorite color you can just do that every time you turn on your computer. You get what you pay for.

I have a feeling these are solidly built and will last a long time. The keyboard lights up blue but the package shows it red. Is there a way to switch the lighting? I do not know, because there was no manual.

The labels on the keys are only readable when the backlight is on. The keys feel springy, not like a typewriter but like a 70s pushbutton phone. There are three buttons I do not know the function of on the mouse.

And I do not have documentation so I do not know what they do. Is there a way to make the mouse stop cycling its cute colored lights? I do not know because I do not have documentation. When I plugged the mouse in to the mac it launched the KEYBOARD CONFIGURATION utility, which is confusing.

The cord on the mouse is fabric wrapped and looks durable. The mouse pad is floppy, like a place mat, and kind of big, so it is hard to arrange it on your desk.

Let’s be honest here. this is not a high end product, and I didn’t buy it to fill that gap. This is a really good deal for kitting out a kid’s computer, which is exactly what I bought it for. I bought two of these for my sons for Christmas, and they both love them.

I was really only shopping for a mouse, but couldn’t see spending the same money on just a mouse when I could throw in a keyboard and mouse pad at the same time. I had hoped that these would be somewhat configurable through software, but they aren’t.

The colors are changed on the mouse by a button on the top, and on the keyboard using FN+SCRLK. To be fair, this is likely better for my kids. The keys feel good, the mouse works well, and the mouse pad was well received.

If you’re a older gamer, even a casual one, it’d be better to spend more and get something better. But for a kid, I feel far more comfortable with this cheap bundle on their PC than I would a higher end keyboard and mouse.

I had purchased a RedDragon mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse over the summer. It was on sale and well-below the prices of the other name brands and love it! For my other computer the keys were starting to stick (it’s a really old keyboard) so I figured now is the time to replace.

I immediately looked at the RedDragon brand and purchased this keyboard and mouse set. It is NOT a mechanical keyboard but the RGB and function is perfect for me! And at a price of listed this is hard to beat! I will say, the software is difficult to find and download for this particular model (I wasn’t able to download it) but when plugged in the lights immediately turn on.

So, I’ll leave it at that. Again, great price for a gaming keyboard and mouse, great weight and feel and really nice RGB.

My daughter was on the market for a new keyboard after a bunch of the keys had stopped working on her existing one. It was still covered by the warranty, so we went down to get a replacement. The keyboard she had was no longer around, but a Best Buy employee put in a ton of effort to find a keyboard replacement for her and came up with this.

It’s a great keyboard and the rainbow lights are beautiful. They aren’t dull, but they aren’t super bright, so they won’t bother anyone with light sensitivity. The only issue that’s arisen in the time she’s had it is that the finish is starting to wear off three of the keys so far, so you can’t see the letters on one of them already.

That isn’t a problem for her given she doesn’t need to look at the keys to type, but it’s something to take into consideration given the price if you’re someone who doesn’t have the key locations memorized by heart.

Solid wired mouse/keyboard combo. For no more than what it costs it’s a solid combo that works well and is pretty good looking too. I needed an inexpensive, budget combo for a small spare set up, and didn’t want to spend a lot.

Didn’t expect much for the small pricetag, but was pleasantly surprised by the overall build quality. The RGB lights are very nice too. Truth is I walked in going to spend as little as possible for the spare computer, and this set was comparable in price to what I would have spent on separate I expensive components.

If you’re beginner and want a nice looking RGB gamers wired combo it’s hard to go wrong with this.
