20 Best Jojoba Oil For Skin (2023 Updated)

I liked everything about it. The faint smell was a bit surprising but not unpleasant. The oil is light, meaning not sticky or greasy, and the application is smooth and easy. No shiny or sticky skin. Feels good.

I have been using jojoba oil as my moisturizer for a few months now, and I absolutely love it! I naturally have very oily (and acne prone) skin, and jojoba oil does not make my face more oily than it already is, but it absorbs into my skin nicely and doesn’t cause me to break out due to clogged pores.

One of my favorite skincare lines on Amazon is Sky Organics, but now I have added Sky Organic Jojoba Oil into one of my skincare staples as well! This oil is organic, unrefined and have ZERO additives, which is great considering all the junk skincare products that are on the market these days.

It’s nice to know that what my skin is absorbing is actually good for it and that there’s nothing toxic, or potentially toxic, in it. I use this on my hair, my skin, and on my cuticles/nails, and stopped using creams, cuticle oils, and hair products because this does it all for me! It’s a 4 ounce bottle and is lasting me forever.

I use 4 drops for my face and neck (2x a day) and smooth the remaining oil on my hands into my hair for silky skin and tamed, manageable hair. I used to have very dull looking skin due to years of suffering from acne as a teenager and all the bad products I’ve tried, but this has given my skin a glow that I thought I was long-gone.

I also stopped using baby products on my son and now use jojoba oil on his skin as his moisturizer as well. Do replace your products with this jojoba oil! It will help maintain your youthful skin (or help you on your journey to obtain youthful skin!), as it’s packed with the vitamins and minerals necessary for healthy skin and hair, and you won’t have to worry about anything toxic being absorbed into your system There’s no reason not to try this oil out!.

I’ve been using this organic oil on my face and neck for years. I also rub the extra into my hands and cuticles. I really like this new smaller size with the dropper. I think it’s easier to use and I can travel with it.

The oil itself is not heavy and does a great job of making your hair softer and shinier. It definitely recommend it for healthier hair. I’ve had it about two weeks now. Every night I apply a bit to my roots and to the ends of my hair.

When I have a wash day I saturate my head overnight. My hair fall isn’t as bad as it was before using this. The smell is not over powering.

I use this daily, whether mixed into a nail oil pen or just on its own. Jojoba oil is amazing for your skin, hair, nails, and this product has given me some excellent results. The value is good for the amount you get, and it doesn’t take a lot.

Great for dry skin, good duplicate for DHC Olive OIl I’ve been using DHC Virgin Olive Oil for my very dry, sensitive skin (at around $39 for 1 ounce!) when I decided to gamble on a different olive oil I’m so glad I did.

Olive oil is truly natural, contains more natural vegetable squalene than any other plant source (squalene is naturally produced by our bodies), and is very soothing moisturizing even for sensitive skin conditions.

After 6-10 days my skin was noticeably better moisturized for longer was significantly softer, I mean, soft enough that my husband commented on it, so that’s a win right there. 🙂 Also, I’m a fanatic about moisturizing so it wasn’t like I was going from totally dry skin – I use this in addition to a vigorous moisturizing regimen it still significantly improved my skin.

My cat is 16 years old and has allergic dermatitis. He has been scratching himself raw and pulling out his fur in clumps. He could barely get a few minutes nap time without becoming restless and having to scratch and groom excessively.

The argan oil arrived today. I massaged a few drops into the skin on all the cat’s bald spots and areas where his hair was thinning from weeks of over-grooming. He let me do this without a fuss. He is now sleeping like a baby.

No more crying, scratching or biting himself. I am impressed. I just massaged some of this oil into my own skin. I have very minor but painful psoriasis scales on each elbow and let me tell you, this oil is the most soothing product I have tried to date.

The prescription creams do not compare. They are so full of chemicals and my skin is so sensitive to everything that they actually made me more uncomfortable. Once again, I am impressed! I was surprised when kitty sat still while I massaged his sore skin with this oil but now I know it was because it calmed his itching and soothed the hot spots.

The packaging of this item is very impressive! What a treat it would be if more items were packaged as well! This item arrived very quickly after my order was placed. This supplier is certainly on its toes and the speed of delivery and attention to packaging detail certainly shows it! Included with the Argan Oil is a glass dropper and two different full size bottles of essential oil – again, a very thoughtful and appreciated plus! Although I will not not be using the essential oil in my daily moisturizing, I have put them to good use in my bath! This is an organic Argan Oil and does have an earthy scent to it.

Although I do not find this slight scent offensive, it is noticeable when I use it in my hair. I have used other brands of Argan Oil that had no scent whatsoever however, as far as I can recall, they were not organic which could explain the lack of scent? I like this product, I will purchase it again and I will be exploring ArtNaturals website for additional products they may offer.

this oil is very smooth but would be too sticky or greasy. i use it as a body oil after shower, sometimes i would blend with some other essential oils too. this oil doesnt have any artificial smell, well it actually doesnt have any smell, so it blends well with my other essential oils that i dont have to worry that there will be any strange scents.

it also very moisturizing and easy to massage.

I ran out of this product and decided to try sweet almond oil instead (also from Hobe Naturals), but nothing works as well for me as the apricot kernel oil has. I’ve tried coconut oil and olive oil before, but the apricot oil is just so light and absorbs so well.

I massage a few drops onto my face at night after cleansing, and by the time I wake up in the morning it has absorbed completely (And when I say massage, I really do mean massage. I get occasional pimples that I pick at, and sometimes get some dry skin on my face as a result, but a nice little massage with this oil helps to slough off the dead skin).

I probably wouldn’t apply this in the morning, as it would not have enough time to absorb. I have sensitive/oily skin, and this oil has always worked well to calm my skin even after picking at my face, it seems to heal my skin well.

For those that worry about applying oil to their oily skin, other moisturizers (or simply not using moisturizers at all) seem to dry my skin, making it even oilier as a result. I cannot recommend this enough for those with sensitive and oily skin.

As for other skin types, I’m not sure how it would work, but this brand of apricot kernel oil especially is just a quality (and affordable) product. It also happens to be great for removing eye makeup and is a great moisturizer for the delicate skin around the eyes.

I’ve purchased this off and on for the past several years. I’ve struggled with cystic acne related to shaving my face and now wearing surgical masks at work through the pandemic. I have horrible scarring from cystic acne.

I use benzoyl peroxide and a moisturizer that helps tremendously, but the moisturizer doesn’t seem to alleviate the dryness and irritation that follows. Irritated skin is unhealthy due to an imbalanced acid mantle from the chemicals I apply for my acne.

I purchased the one ounce bottle of jojoba oil and apply it to my entire face every other day alternating with my acne treatment. My skin has never looked this healthy. I had a horrible cystic acne spot next to my nose and was too ashamed to go out into public.

I knew it was too deep for my acne medicine to penetrate and I know that acne is irritated skin. I applied jojoba oil every couple of hours for two days and it softened the skin enough to be drained (sorry for the details).

I then applied it liberally to the scab. Any redness I had was alleviated within hours. I felt so much better about myself and comfortable going out again. For those suffering with acne and deep cysts give this a try! I have tried many jojoba oils and this one is the best! It doesn’t cause any acne and it has replenished my skin mantle and alleviated redness.

It’s also helped reduce scarring. I can’t recommend this product enough! If you’re too scared to apply to the entire face like I do and have a stubborn spot but the smaller bottle and use as a spot treatment.

It reduces inflammation and adds healthy moisture to irritation. I use this on my hands (just two drops) after every hand washing and it keeps them soft and supple. This company deserves the hype! This is great for Trentinoin users, Retinoids, and those like me who use benzoyl peroxide almost every day.

I also have eczema and it has relieved the itching every time. I purchased this with my own money and will do so again when my bottle runs out. A little goes along way!.

I have used this stuff for years. It is just amazing for my skin. I use it as a moisturiser under my SPF during the day and alone as my night moisture product on both face and neck. I find it hugely soothing and balancing and find it hydrates my skin well even though it is not an obvious moisture product.

I love the fact that is is one ingredient which has utter integrity from growth to manufacture. I have peace of mind knowing that what I put on my skin is good for me and also good for the planet. I am very much into skincare and am yet to find another oil or even anti-ageing product that comes close to this.

I use this every night after layering my serum moisturiser I lock it all in with this jojoba oil. It does look a little greasy at first but readily absorbs into my dry maturing skin. This is inexpensive and great value for money, as you literally only use a drop or two.

This is a good brand, and a quality product. jojoba is very good for your skin, even if you have issues like pimples. there is coconut oil in it too, but both oils absorb really fast so skin is not sticky or oily.

I specifically got this blend because of the coffee oil in it. It smells very faintly of coffee when applied, i might of liked a stronger smell because im often tired and i like coffee, but i can see that others might want a milder scent.

Coffee is not only supposed to be a pick-me-up when smelled, but is good for tightening the skin when applied. I like to use this on my neck, and in a roll-on blend for under eyes to reduce puffiness.

I will pat some more onto my face & neck later in the day if im really tired to enjoy the waft of coffee smell.

This oil works wonders for not only your hair, but for your face as well! I use it every night before bed, and wake up with super soft hair and skin. I haven’t been using it consistently for a long enough time to really write a thorough review. I also don’t have enough prior experience with any other brands of this same oil for comparison. It seems nice though? The smell is a little bit weird and might take some time to get used to though.

After some research it seems the smell is normal. It’s very vaguely fishy. It’s mildly unpleasant but it doesn’t smell like actual fish just a very faint smell that reminds me of fish somehow. It’s not enough to deter me from continuing to use it, and I’m also interested to see what happens once I get around to mixing it with other oils with a stronger more desirable scent.

Not a huge fan of the dispensation method however. It’s one of those click-caps so after closing some of the oil ends up smeared all over the outside cap which is a bit annoying.

I purchased this to make a facial oil cleanser as well as to blend with shea butter to use as a moisturizer. I have been so pleased with the results of both. My skin has never been so happy. I have acne rosacea and have been using the homemade oil cleanser, a konjac sponge (please sell these, Plant Therapy), the plant therapy vitamin c serum, and the homemade moisturizer.

The results are wonderful. My face usually aches in the winter months because it is so dry. This winter, thanks to the hemp seed oil, it hasn’t hurt at all.

I bought this oil for some DIY for my face. I’m 57 and although I have some products I love and wo t be giving up, at least not yet, I love mixing my own products. This is a great oil for dry skin. It has a very slight scent by itself and that fades into the background whenever you add an EO to it.

I’ve been blending this with evening primrose oil and a bit of grape seed oil as a base. It’s very light and absorbs well. It really seems to be benefiting my dry skin and I’ve started rubbing a bit into my hands with all the hand washing lately.

It feels great. I will definitely be keeping this one stocked. Great carrier oil that compliments the other oils really well.

Amazing product. Very good quality at a very affordable price compared to competitors. I feel it has helped keep my skin young although im nearly 50. I’ve used it for at least 10 years and people always comment on how wrinkle free I am.

It’s genes of course too. But I believe the Fushi Rosehip oil helps. I am acne prone and it hasn’t caused my skin to break out. While other oils like the pomegranate one that I’ve tried from Fushi have given me spots.

If highly recommend this one for any skin type.

Beautiful oil surprised to see such fast results. The oil soaks completely into my skin. Lovely soft skin and yes I can definitely see a change in my complexion it’s brighter I like the feeling of the oil on my skin not greasy at all.

I have been buying from Fushi ever since I discovered them a few years ago. They make beautiful organic oils, filled in dark glass bottles to protect them from light. I have thus far tried neem oil, rose hip, flax, black seed, jojoba, marula, raspberry seed oil and they are all wonderful.

Four I went into the establishment I looked at my hair and said OMG I am frizzing out! I was in a rush this morning and totally forgot to put my usual Moroccan oil in my hair so there happened to be a marshalls next-door to where I am working! 99. This JoJoba Oil is excellent for your hair and promotes hair growth and you can double up and use it as a skin moisturizer! Which I thought was really cool. Nevertheless I used it and my hair is no longer frizzy and shiny like always I definitely love the concepts you can use this for a body and hair… It is fragrance free, silicone free , Paraben free, cruelty free and made in the USA at recyclable materials! I bought this from the Marketplace seller. They have ALWAYS been a good seller. Their prices and excellent service are to be praised. This product, in particular, became solid as a wax after two days of using it.

Pharmapacks is going to replace it. They said if it happens again, to contact the manufacturer. They think the product may have been “factory defective. ” I agree with them. PHARMAPACKS IS NOT TO BE BLAMED FOR THIS PROBLEM.

There is no coconut scent. This product used to be 100% pure coconut oil now it says blended. Blended with what? Going back.

What a delightful oil! Hands down, this is the softest oil to have ever graced my skin. I apply it after soaking in a long, hot beauty bath. It goes on after I use a lovely cucumber witch hazel toner.

Its a very nice complimentary oil. Most oils I have used weigh my skin down, but this one is as light as a feather. There is no odor and it absorbs quickly. The cost does reflect the high quality of this oil, so rest assured that this just might be the best jojoba oil on the market.

I absolutely love this face oil! I have combination oily/dry skin and its difficult to find a product thats moisturising while also not clogging my pores and causing congestion. This oil is deeply moisturising and I slather it on straight when my skin feels extra dry, or add a few drops to my other face theory moisturiser in the morning and night.
