20 Best Jojoba Oil For Hair (2023 Updated)

Took off my mascara nicely without an oily residue. I used with essential oil as moisturizer and feels amazing. I have combination oily skin but this was not heavy and oily feeling or looking.

The oil has no smell at all and stored in a clear plastic bonttle. All the signs for fake argan oil. The oil doesn’t absorb into skin easily as it supposed to do. Very big chance it is fake argan oil.

As I’ve aged, my skin has become drier and more scaly. I also noticed that scrapes and scratches seemed to heal more slowly than they used to. Although I had been moisturizing with a lotion after showering, my doctor suggested I try a body oil instead.

I tried both shea butter and jojoba. I still use the shea butter once in a while in the winter when my skin is really dry, but it stays greasy for hours. The jojoba oil has become my everyday body moisturizer.

It absorbs quickly, has almost no scent, and although you can still feel it on your skin for up to an hour, it’s not going to come off on your clothes, so you can get dressed right away. I honestly feel like my skin is now younger and healthier since I’ve been using this product.

I have used this oil for years. Purchased it at Whole Foods. Jojoba oil mimics your natural oil so it is very lightweight. I like to apply it to my face after I wash it as a light moisturizer. Nothing is better than this for a dry/combination skin.

I also use it on my body at times, mostly in my chest and arms.

I like them. They are lightweight but my hair is dry the next day after using either of both oils. I have several pattern products to see which one works for my hair best. I have washed my hair with the hydrating shampoo, applied the leave in conditioner, added the heavy condition and roller set my hair, sat under the hair dryer for 30 minutes and achieved a very soft loose curl set that lasted four days.

My hair was very soft, fluffy and not dry at all. That combination is what made me purchase the rest of your products. I have not mastered the wash and go look I want yet because the curl gel, the style cream and the leave-in conditioner all shrink my hair down to half the length it normally is.

It looks good, it has a tight zig-zag pattern. I would like it to be less tight. I do have a short haircut and would like my hair to feel lighter. I am in the process of checking the porosity of my hair.

I am also 72 and my gray has started to come in (salt and pepper fashion, natural brown and gray. Still trying to master the wash and go. My pattern product list: Curl Gel, Curl Cream, Hydrating Shampoo, Clarifying Shampoo, Leave in Conditioner, Heavy Conditioner, Medium Conditioner, Intensive Conditioner, Strong Hold Gel, Styling Custard, Treatment Mask and Hydrating Mist.

Great product. I often used heat on my natural 4b type hair. Ultimately, my hair started breaking because it became just so dry (I wasn’t using any hydrating product on a daily basis). The minute I used PATTERN for the first time, you could see the difference – my hair became so soft and shiny.

I also use it on wet hair. I wish it would smell better (it has a little medicinal smell to it) but it doesn’t smell bad either. It’s very hydrating so a little bit goes a long way – I have medium density/length hair (down to my bra strap) and I don’t use more than a pump and a half.

I rarely review products, but this hair serum is my new favorite go-to! I have naturally wavy, coarse, thick, hair. I’m used to using heavier serums and deep conditioning treatments since all my life, hair dressers would tell me my hair was dry when it was just my hair’s natural texture! This serum is light, it doesn’t weigh my hair down and makes it feel so soft! The smell is a natural, almost slightly medicinal lavender but it sinks in and doesn’t leave much of scent.

I plan on repurchasing and recommending this product to my friends and family with similar hair texture as mine.

This smooths my skin and keeps the wrinkles away! It also moisturizes my fingernails. Its easy to apply. The only downside is that its a little oily when applying

I use this for many things. Hair between curl n frizz? Apply thickly n shampoo in a couple hours. Mix it with essential oil as a carrier etc

I only just started using it, but my daughter raved about it. She puts it in her hair, and uses it on her eye lids and lashes. Helps with puffy lids..

I’ve tried at least 10 products to put in damp hair after a shower to tame my frizz. None of them really did too much for my damaged and very dry ends but this stuff! I heard about it from a youtuber and I’m so glad I tried it out because my hair looks great just letting it dry naturally.

I can finally get my hair healthy again because I don’t need heat to style my hair with this product. Definitely buy it if you had the same issues. You will notice a big difference.

This is really a disappointment even given the price. It made my just-washed hair look greasy and horrible even though I applied it to my damp hair before a blow-dry. I gave it a second chance by using very little and applying it evenly with great care, and it turned out to be just ok.

My hair still looked a bit stiff and even a little frizzy. It’s neither moisturising nor light. Won’t buy it again.

First off, let me suggest that anyone using this start with the SMALLEST amount possible. A little goes a long way, trust me. I have tried another KeraCare product and loved it. I am not a bit disapponted with this one.

I have very dry hair, and I happen to be trying to revert back to natural after using a temporary straightening system. I’ve been washing my hair with a Castile soap and oil recipe to clarify my hair (and get rid of that temp system).

EA clarifying shampoo can be drying – especially when using it a lot like I have been. When I put this on my hair, I used way too much and oversaturated it. By “way too much” I mean, just a bit too much.

I didn’t realize how little it would take to nourish and soften my hair. I love it. I’m also glad that it will last a while. If, like me, you over-use this, it will weight the hair down and make it feel heavy with buildup.

Once I rinsed my hair clean, I sectioned my hair into fours and applied just the smallest amounts of the hair milk to each section. I was careful to work with my fingertips to work the product in from root to tip.

That worked out really well. Of course, I applied to my towel-dried hair, then after it dried, I applied a little more product to the ends of my hair and massaged it in. I am very happy with this. I will be getting more of it as needed, and I’ll be checking out other products by the brand.

Since it takes so little of this (even for my dry type of hair), I think that folks with finer hair should be super stingy when applying. I will attach a photo of how much I used on each section of my hair once I figured out how much was too much! Just apply in dabs, then work it through.

This brand is a hidden gem at Sally’s!! I have naturally curly hair that I occasionally straighten and I recently went blonde again and had a color correction done at the salon with bleach back in June and have damage from that wich I knew was going to happen.

This treatment works!! The slip from this is amazing and I love how it moisturizes my hair without leaving it greasy! After shampooing I put this on my hair for a few minutes and then rinse out…and this does rinse out of my hair easily.

Also sometimes I use a heat cap with this and it works even better!.

The Jojoba Oil Moisturizing Treatment has a pleasant scent to it and left my hair soft and bouncy with noticeably less split ends. I was just hoping for so much more. I have very curly dry hair and can’t stand the multitude of products I find myself slathering in.

It does it’s job exactly as described and nothing more. I was hoping I had found my miracle in a jar BUT no such luck.

A saleswoman at Sally’s recommended this deep conditioner to me, since I started using it I’ve completely forgotten about the other deep conditioners I own. My hair loves it. I have high porosity, fine, relaxed hair.

My natural texture is 4C.

These masks are my absolute favorite! The Castor variety is the best but Olive, Brazil Nut, Tea Tree, and Peppermint are also in my usual rotation. They’re affordable so you can keep several varieties stocked up and the packet has several uses (easily, a lot more for shorter hair!).

I like to take an empty jar (4oz normally but a 2oz would work too) and empty two packets in to make my own hair mask. Sometimes I add additional oils (same brand, the mega care oil tubes) or mix mask types.

I like to use the masks once a week and I use a hot cap attachment for my blow-dryer to really get the max benefits from it. I’ve even used these instead of regular hair conditioner when Ive run out, they’re so useful! For as long as I live and can find them I will be a Difeel hair mask and oil customer!.

One thing I struggle with the most is a dry scalp. I purchased this off of MissA and the texture is nice and thick! A-little goes a long way! As soon as it touched my scalp it automatically felt cooling and refreshing.

So far I haven’t seen a change since it is my first time using it, but it feels really nice.

I have 1a naturally dirty blonde hair that I get processed to be lighter blonde. The past few months I have been using the most awful products on my hair, and tried air drying as much as possible – but it turns out skipping my daily heat protectant that gave me great slip did not work out.

The past few days I’ve been having an absolute meltdown. WAY more hair than usual coming out when I wet brush through my hair with conditioner still in it before I get out of the shower, and I am unable to run my hair through my hair without it getting “stuck”.

And random full-ish strands of hair are coming out all over the place. at any time of day. I tried K18 for the first time 3 days ago, and after the 4 minutes I needed to wait (I waited way longer each time just to be sure) I used Pravana Leave-In conditioner, which did not help.

I’m literally at such a loss, and remembered using heated oil on my hair as a teen and having great results (I’m 29 now, btw). I also used exclusively Tresemme Botanique Coconut Conditioner as a cowash with an average once monthly shampoo, and Tresemme’s heat protectant daily with daily heat styling for YEARS and it worked wonders before they changed the formula a few years ago.

So since I have a Sephora really close, I ran out to grab these oil packs to see if they would do the trick. I did some additional research on haircarescience before using just to make sure I would not do any additional damage, and I came across a post that referenced the Science-y blog, which says that jojoba oil actually does not penetrate the hair at all.

And one of the best oils to use for hair penetration (if coconut oil has not worked for you), is Safflower oil. So I quickly flipped the PATTERN package over and read the ingredients, and guess what?! SAFFLOWER OIL IS THE #1 LISTED INGREDIENT!! WOOOO! With this additional information, I was able to confidently use this product.

What an awesome convenient self-heating package. It is in my hair now and working well!.

It took me some time to try this product as much as my hair needed it. I was a user of your products for sometime, but due to fragrance allergies I had to discontinue using them. This product did a lovely job on my grey 3b shoulder length curly hair, however the fragrance was an issue.

I’m quite sure I’m not your only customer with this challenge, and I would like to know if your concerns are really to address and help all women of colour hair needs? If so, please take sometime to look into a fragrance free line.

This aragan oil is the same quality, but half the price; so it’s just the same but different. I love that it is thicker than a couple other brands that have a spray top, one of which I bought. Love how it soaks into my skin.

It goes on a bit greasy, but when it soaks in, it leaves moisture rich and smooth, healthy looking skin.

This moisturizing treatment is the best I’ve ever used. You can use it as a conditioner or a five minute leave on treatment. Since I have been using this product I haven’t had any more dry scalp issues and have stopped using my dandruff shampoo.

I have a naturally gray, pixie cut hairstyle. This doesn’t weigh the hair down like a lot of conditioners. I would recommend to anyone with dry hair. I’ve already purchased the tub of it and it’s a great price! I will use this indefinitely.

This is my first time using this hair mask. I noticed that it my hair soft and moisturized as soon as I started working it through my hair. It also smells amazing and I’m pretty satisfied.

Jojoba and I are so in love lol. I use this religiously. I add it to all my lotions. I also use it daily as a face and neck moisturizer. I add exactly 2 drops to my favorite Clinique moisturizer and it soaks right in.

I love how this oil just soaks right in my skin, without the greasy feeling that heavier oils would leave. I even add it to my hair after shampooing and conditioning and let it air dry. It’s a wonderful oil and I’m so happy I’ve found this.

Been using this for about 8 years! I have long, natural curly hair. I lightly use it as a leave in conditioner. No static cling, even with blowing and curls. Love this stuff!!

Great product. I’ve been using Lolane’s hair masks (3 different ones) everyday for 3 weeks now and my hair has improved dramatically. My hair use to be dry and damaged. It was very hard to comb through without breaking.

This is not jojoba oil. There are many other ingredients and jojoba is not the first one listed. It also is not yellow in color.

I truly love this coconut oil! Smells so yummy like creamy coconut with vanilla. And its effects on the skin are amazing! I put a little bit on a cotton pad and rub it on my face, I leave it during the night and my skin absorbs the oil.
