20 Best Jogging Stroller For Infants (2023 Updated)

I received this product for my baby prior to his birth, as a first time mom I thought car seats were pretty much all the same and you were paying for the brand. I hate this car seat. I would not recommend to anyone.

I’ve made it work for the time being, as I do not get my child out much (the world of COVID) the past few times the left strap tightens a lot tighter than the right strap and there is no way to fix it.

I will be purchasing a new one this week and would give this car seat 0 stars if I could!!! I will not be purchasing anything babytrend from now on, if that tells you how dissatisfied I am with the cheaply made car seat.

10. 5 years ago we were gifted a new Baby Trend Expedition Stroller. I wish we knew how many miles we have put on it. This is the best stroller. I have used it for triathlon training. Kids stay comfortable during distance runs.

The basket eventually wore out but we got replacement parts. The strap finally broke after 10 years that adjusts the seat. I have only ever popped one tire!.

I absolutely love this stroller. My baby girl is my fifth kid and I’ve never had a stroller that was this awesome. This thing will roll over anything. Me and my baby go for a walk every morning and this has made walks so convenient compared to the traditional stroller.

It navigates so well. I’ve had no issues with it. I didn’t know it when I first purchased it but the seat can be adjusted to sit up instead of laying back. I think the cup holder is good for holding my baby’s Comotomo bottle but not really good for a bottled water.

It’s not deep enough. My guess would be that the bottle is wider and doesn’t move around like the bottled water. Other than that I have no complaints. It’s a smooth gliding stroller that folds up so easily.

I wish I had one of these with my other children.

Excellent design. I sat down with pliers, 2 screw drivers, a crescent wrench, and allen wrenches then opened the box. Come to find out that everything snaps together in about 3 minutes, I didnt even need to look at the directions!!! Scepticism sat in so I started to look over the Engineering and it is flawless and no possible way to endanger my child.

I wish everything was so simple. Too bad I found this brand on my final kid. lol. Will be the go to purchase for any relatives or friends as gifts. Cant say enough good stuff and I never leave reviews!! Excellent A+++.

I cannot begin to express how much I hate this poorly made car seat. We initially purchased this because it was inexpensive for a travel system. Well, lesson learned not to buy the cheapest product. We certainly got what we paid for.

Where should I start? The canopy is made of cheap fabric and held up by a flimsy toy like piece of plastic, it broke off the first time we used it. How about the indicator on the side of the car seat that is suppose to tell you if the car seat is reclined at a safe level? It doesn’t work! Our newborn was basically reclined into a nearly upright position(not good for newborns) and the indicator signaled that was a safe position, it’s not, Lastly, let’s talk about the ridiculous challenge that is trying to “adjust” the car seat.

I put adjust in quotations because you essentially need an eight year degree to figure it out. As I type this, I am currently missing out on one of my children’s extracurricular activities because the car seat will not adjust and I cannot safety transport my baby.

According the the manual, there is a button or knob I can turn to adjust the straps, there is NO button or knob on this carseat unlike what the picture in the manual shows. I have pushed the button by the crotch strap to adjust the straps like you would in a normal car seat, it doesn’t work.

Pretty sure my blood pressure is through the roof at this point. Oh AND, according to the manual, you have to remove the baby before adjusting the straps. How inconvenient is that?! So basically you have to guess and pray to the car seat gods that you adjusted the straps to just the right length that’ll fit your baby when you put them back in, An absolute waste of money and time!! As a fifth time mom, I am completely bewildered and disgusted by this design concept and cheap, inconvenient features,.

Okay so first off, I really did like this stroller car seat combo. But once my baby hit about 6 months old, I quickly realized that she would soon grow out of the car seat. I was under the impression that it would fit her a lot longer.

This is not the case. She is almost a year old now and her head is almost above the top of the car seat and her feet dangle over the front. The stroller still works great and I plan to keep on using it indefinitely but I’m the hunt now for a new car seat.

I mean, I can barely strap her in, she’s just outgrown it so much and I’m disappointed that the description on this item misleads you to believe that it will accommodate a child from newborn to 5 years old.

In this instance, they were referring to the stroller being able to accommodate a child from newborn to 5 years. It was very easy for me to read the description and think they entire system would work until 5 years old.

The description also states that it will accommodate a baby up to 35 lbs. So based on that, I’m still wondering why at 22 pounds, she’s much too big for this car seat. It should also be noted that the padding is super hard and I can tell she isn’t very comfortable.

All in all, this an alright value if you can get it on sale. I got it on sale for $119 in 2020. But that’s still a tough expenditure to validate with only being able to use the car seat for one year.

I bought this stroller travel set 2 years ago for my son. This jogger stroller is so useful. It has bigger tires as compare to a regular stroller which makes it go smoothly. I use it at the outdoors track to do brisk walk and run.

It is very easy to open and close. It does take more storage space in the trunk. This stroller has helped me to stay active during the summer. I can’t express how much I love this stroller. It has 2 cup holders for the child in the front tray and 2 cup holders for the mom near the handle area.

It also has one storage compartment to put money, credit card, phone etc. I would definitely recommend this jogger stroller.

I love the stroller, we live in the mountains and are excited to take it out on the trails. It was out of stock for quite a while but well worth the wait. It seems sturdy and durable. We aren’t worried about it getting stuck in all the little rocks etc that are always on the trails.

The adjustable handles are great since my husband is a foot taller than me. I also love all the different ways it can fold down to be compact. Easy for storage! And the canopy is great for the weather we receive, can pull it down significantly to cover my little one in a bad storm.

Love the clear see through section and the ability to cover it and open the vent it when necessary.

We are a Nuna family, but I researched jogging strollers for quite some time and ended up with the Tre. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. We only use it for jogging and my husband sprays it with WD40 basically every week since it squeaks LOUD.

He called customer support at the beginning since it’s squeaked since day 1, but adjusting the brakes didn’t help. Kind of annoyed that a stroller at this price point would make so much noise, but since I got a discount with a buybuybaby coupon, I guess I can’t complain.

We only use it for running and we jog 2-3 times a week with our one-year old, including a longer run on Saturdays. Baby seems comfortable – he’s not a patient guy but he’ll sit for up to an hour in the stroller and wave at people as we run by.

We rarely take it out for walks or to the store since it’s so big and squeaky, but if we stop for groceries after a run or get take-out, the basket is nice and spacious. And we do like the cup/phone holder across the handlebars – wish our Nuna had the same thing.

All in all, wouldn’t buy for your sole stroller or for everyday use, but it’s been nice to go on family runs and know baby is comfortable and safe.

I can say our family has put this stroller through it’s paces. It has been in 5ks, Greenway, nature trails, roads, sidewalk, beaches, piers and malls and it has held up. We have had to replace the rear wheels but let’s me be very honest as much as we used the unit it was to be expected.

My son and I have done so much running together in this stroller. He even have taken it jogging on nature trails with roots and it held up great. You do have to take care of this stroller like you would a bicycle and maybe because we are mountain bikers and knew that is why we have seen such success.

This unit will be ready to go with baby #2 with a cleaning of the seats. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is Chicco needs to make a tray system to go with this stroller.

It folds easily. I did NOT want a fancy, expensive stroller. I need a practical one I can throw a couple kids in and easily get errands done and this is it. I absolutely recommend this for the price.

This jogger is super. Bought for my grandchild. (Mom wants to steal it now). Easy to assemble. Maneuvers so easily. Great on gravel… Just an awesome ride.

Super roomy and comfy for baby. Ergonomic for parents. Car seat is decent. As for the stroller. The tires always pop or there is always something wrong with the tires. We have had a bike specialist look at/fix the tires a number of times and the tires never seem to stay inflated.

We have replaced tubing multiple times and even ordered a new wheel which worked well for a out 3 walks and suddenly the wheel is back to null again. It’s taking up space. If you are a bike mechanic maybe you will have better luck but i am searching for a new stroller.

The replacement tire was about $30, by the way. They never emailed me a response, and I had to call and that’s how I got a replacement.

We bought this in June 2020. My wife and I are avid runners and since purchasing this stroller, we have put almost 300 miles running on the road and trails with it. The rear inner tubes would not stay inflated around the 100 mile mark so we bought solid inner tubes for them both, and around the 250 mile mark, I had to replace the bearings in the front wheel.

It’s still going strong and expect to hit 500 miles on it by the end of 2021. We track our runs on an app so it’s no exaggeration. The only thing I would really want improved on the stroller is the front wheel lockup.

It wobbles when running, nothing too dramatic but it’s annoying. The miles tracked do not include hikes, walks or everyday tasks, so with that it would be well over 300 miles. Good product overall.

In early 2020 this was the only running/all terrain stroller that would take 2 car seats, making it perfect for twins. We have not regrettet this purchase since. The stroller is smooth to push, has lots of storage, the seat come down almost to horizontal position which is great for naps on the go.

It is very large when folded, making it hard to travel with. And it’s 34 inches wide, so it does not fit most doors. I wish it was easier to find accessories like a snack tray for the boys now that they are older, a rain cover, and replacement for the car seat bar that we broke.

But, it’s perfect to take out on the bike path, to the lake and river, it’s a sturdy, all-terrain stroller. And such a great price!.

Only just got – therefore this is first impression review. Let me get this portion out of the way- This is NOT a one hand fold stroller and disappointed due to Q&A from manufacturer said it was as you do not really see “how” she folds just folded and putting in vehicle.

So want to share that as It will take both hands each has to use finger to pull up on each side to collapse stroller. Catch for it locking so far doesn’t just grab you have to adjust for it to grab. Now that may be different once worn in.

Even with that in mind it does collapse pretty good but I have smaller SUV and keep fold up chairs back there so in my smaller SUV I do have to take stroller out if picking up decent load of groceries.

It will fit with fold up chairs but I do have to remove a side wheel. Which is do easy and I do love that!!! popping it back on is easy to so there are ways around depending on size of space. Walking- our sidewalks are horrible it did handle bumps pretty good- my LO is small size (9th percentile) for 6 months so there was still bouncing but he didn’t seem to mind.

very easy to tilt up to get on curb of sidewalk. I have not ran with this yet. Basket does seem good size. I love that you can unlatch child cup tray and remove- instructions do not say how to remove just turn all way to left and pop off- will take a lille pull due to piece pops into place.

downfall is I wish they had attachments when you do to put over sides so child doesn’t scrap themselves. Hint manufacturer for future enhancement!! Overall so far will keep as though not one handed I have not found a stroller that gives me all the things im personally looking for.

Which was – price, collapsibility, removable child tray, durability (crappy sidewalks)- comfort – not cheap feeling, basket size, and liked it would hold phone in place so it doesn’t bounce around in plastic- peekaboo window opens upward this way if rains it doesn’t drip in ( not sure why people would open down as that would to me just invite water) and canopy covers decent amount to help block sun.

One handed close would be topping on cake!!! Ps all tires cane inflated and no issues so far but only initial review.

The Expedition Race Tec Jogger Travel System is perfect. I have not any problems with using this for my Grandbaby since I have recieved it. This system is fit for newborns up to 5 years and the carseat 4-35 pounds.

I love that it has a reclining leveling system. Has 5-point adjustable harness with one hand adjustment. The stroller seat has a comfort cabin with an extra big canopy with extended sun visor and a window to see the child.

The front wheel is enhanced with a quick release for improved stability and safety. I love the cell phone holder and the 2 deep cup holders for coffee cups when strolling outside. The stroller turns and moves smoothly also.

The best part I love is that it easily transfers from car to stroller and from stroller to car easily, makes life so much easier. The quality of this stroller combo is amazing, the material is really soft also for the kids.

This stroller is perfect. I can honestly say was designed with the parents in mind, as well as the child. It has cup holders, and a place to put my cell phone in an up right position. It makes it convenient to use your phone, while pushing the stroller.

The basket is big so my purse and my baby bag fit perfect! Assembly is incredibly simple. The inflated wheels take on uneven terrain smoothly, like large hills or the really cracked, uneven pavement.

The handle is comfortable to hold on to. It’s great for jogging or just social distancing, because It allows us to move much faster. There are brakes to put on so it doesn’t roll. It’s easy to fold, simply pull up the loops on both sides, then pull the lock over the latch.

The stroller is sturdy and safe. Adjusting the height is very easy to do and just takes a few seconds to do. The canopy shade had a neat feature, where you can unfold it to protect just a few more inches of their face.

This is amazing! I hadn’t heard of this brand previously, but with our first kid we had bought the Bob Revolution jogging stroller, which I love. When I started looking around for a new double jogging stroller, I stumbled across this one.

I had planned on just buying the Bob dualie jogging stroller, since I liked the single, and a friend recommended the double. The one thing holding me back was that the carseat adaptor required a child tray to always be installed for the second seat.

My son likes to crawl into the stroller by himself, so having a tray either already installed, or having to take the whole adaptor off and then replace it wasn’t something I really wanted to do, unless there was nothing better.

Well, with some searching, and cross-referencing which ones would work with our Britax B-SAfe 2013 carseat, I found this gem. The single version had rave reviews from everyone, but I couldn’t find a whole lot on the double version.

The description made this stroller sound perfect, but I was still nervous about buying it. In the end, I decided I would buy it and keep the box, and if I absolutely hated it, I would return it and buy the Bob as originally planned.

A lot of effort, but I was willing to give it a try. And I am so happy I did! The stroller came neatly folded in a pretty big box, which for a newly post-partum mommy, was almost too heavy to lift myself.

I slide it through my front door and started to assemble it. Surprisingly, it was very easy to setup. There was the big folded main body, and then just the three wheels to attach. Took maybe five minutes.

But, after I assembled it, I had a mini heartattack when I realized that this monster stroller was now in my entryway, and I wasn’t sure how to get it into my garage, where my other stroller was. Getting it through our laundry room out through the garage wasn’t going to happen due to small spaces, and by looking at it, I was afraid it wouldn’t even fit out our front door.

Again, surprise surprise, it fit perfectly through the doorway, with little wiggle room, but nothing rubbed against the door frame. Very surprised and pleased, because it didn’t look like it would fit.

I will say this is a beast, and if you want to pack it compactly in a vehicle, you should probably remove the wheels (a very easy task, you literally just push the hubcap and they slide off). The first time I put it in our 2011 Honda Pilot, it took up the whole trunk area, and I had to turn it sideways to close the hatch.

If I had removed the wheels, it would have fit normally I believe. It’s also impressively heavy, and it doesn’t really have any good spots to grab and lift with. Maybe not an issue for all moms, but I use it as a reminder that I need to lift more weights! 🙂 As for folding up, I have never seen anything easier.

There is a twist lever in the front, and once released, it is spring loaded to help you fold it up with easy. You can even leave the carseat adaptor one, but remember, that is one more thing that will take up valuable space in the back of your vehicle! As a runner, I love this behemoth! For it’s size, it runs incredibly well! I love the handlebar brake lever, excellent for running hills.

I also love that the entire handlebar will rotate up or down to accommodate the runner that uses it. The wheels run very smoothly, and if you keep the tires at the recommended PSI, there is not a huge difference between running with the stroller empty and having it fully loaded.

A very smooth run, with a very sleek profile. Everything I wanted with a dual jogging stroller and more. Oh, and did I mention the storage basket is HUGE!? Well, it is! And my very intelligent problem solving 2.

5 year old can’t figure out the child safety locks on the harness, so that makes me happy too! I’m really excited to try this out with two kiddos once my youngest is old enough for jogging!.

We bought this stroller about a year and a half ago, just before our second baby was born and have never regretted it. Our oldest is nearly four and he and our two year old still fit comfortably. It glides and turns like a dream! Not only is it the most compact of all the jogging strollers, it is really easy to set up and use.

It fits through doorways that you think it won’t and it folds up easily to fit in the trunk of the car. The wheels come off with a single push of a button and they go back on in a snap. The sun shade provides excellent protection and you can pull it all the way down to help block the wind too.

Also the big tires on the stroller performs great in the snow. We bought the universal carseat attachment and it was easy to install and use with our Peg Perego carseat. On the downside, being as we take it on trails and dirt paths we have had to replace some of the tire tubes because of punctures, however I feel like that is unavoidable with rubber tires.

Overall we have loved this stroller and it has outperformed it’s reviews in every category. It’s expensive, but if you’re an active family it’s worth every penny. Well done Thule!.

Purchased this last year around the holidays for $119. 99 for our June baby. Super easy to use. I walk 3miles a day with our baby in it and it is super light weight and i have zero issues with it. I will tell you when we first got it the front tire was flat which was a pain to get air in it but i have not had any issues since.

The car seat is super easy to attach and i never have any issues with it getting stuck in the base in our car. Not sure why so many negative reviews but I would definitely recommend it if you need something on a budget.

This wasnt the orginal travel system I wanted to get but after doing a lot of research My husband and I decided on this one. It was almost $100 cheaper then the other one and I liked the way it looked.

I am glad that it was very affordable and I guess you get what you pay for. I told my husband to pick the color he liked because I wasn’t in love with any particular color but I actually really like this optic green color.

It’s almost like a hilighter green with some yellow. Totally different the my usual taste, but it’s fun and seems smart to have a bright color so you can be seen if it’s being used to actually jog with.

It was very easy to set up out of the box. Just pop on the 2 back wheels and take off some protective packaging and you’re done. Baby isn’t here yet so my review is strictly on what I’ve seen so far since putting the product together and getting a feel for it.

First off, the plastic pieces like the trays and thr handle and base of the seag seem very cheap like they will break easily. I feel like everytime new baby products come out thr quality goes down. Tires seem great though so that’s good! I like the height of the handle and the feel of it.

Seems like it glides nice and smooth but then again thats just in my house with no baby. The canopy of the stroller is nice and big and seems like it will cover baby/child well. It’s also nice and sturdy when all the way open so if the wind is blowing it wont blow it up.

I’m dissapointed in the infant insert of the car seat. It seems okay for when you’re out of the newborn stage but I can tell that if I put my newborn in the seat from the hospital that her head will just flop to the side because there is absolutely no head support.

Luckily I have my own insert that i can add that offers head and side support without disturbing the functionality and safety of the seat. Material overall just feels so crappy too and thin. Hopefully all is is well once baby comes because I can’t afford a different set.

Will update once baby comes and I’ve used the system more.

I have enjoyed the versatility of the Baby Trend single jogger because it is a good starting jogging stroller that won’t break the bank. I purchased this item for a business venture and then began using it for my own child soon after.

It has a quick fold option which is handy. I love the fact that the stroller can stand upright on its own! It can be a little wobbly though with the front wheel being allowed to swivel. If my baby gets it dirty, or it gets ruined on the bike path or at the beach it’s not the end of the world.

Florida is hot and the fact that the canopy can be moved to allow heat to escape through the top and allow really good airflow is a huge plus! The only issue I have is that the version that doesn’t have the metal spokes on the wheel, the front wheel is too tight to get an bike tire pump in to add air, I had to try like five different bike pumps before I found one small enough to fit in the space! It’s not an amazing stroller, but it’s dependable, and lightweight!.

I am very happy with my purchase. I love that my infant carseat clicks into place and on the other side my Toddler is very comfortable. It folds easily. It fits in through most doorways, rides very smooth, and has great storage.

I love the MP3 player. I have a Graco Click Connect Carseat and it clicks securely in place. Baby trends states that only their infant carrier is compatible, however I am comfortable with how my graco secures in this stroller.

(I won’t jog with her in it just to be cautious) I will add that the tires do not come completely inflated. You will need to have a manual bicycle tire air pump. You can find one one at Walmart. The manual says you can damage tire by using an air compressor.

I will recommend this stroller to friends!.

I am a mom of 7. We bought a double stroller (different brand) 9 years ago and just recently had to retire it since it was falling apart. There were several things I was looking for when buying a new stroller and this stroller checked every box.

Some reviews said it was really difficult to assemble, I’m seven months pregnant and had it put together in 15-20minutes. My two younger kids love being in this stroller (5yrs and 1. 5yrs), they seem comfortable and happy every time we’ve used it.

I haven’t noticed any issues with the tires not holding air but we shall see as time goes on. The tires did come out of the box slightly flat. but we just used our bike tire pump and they have held air since.

The speaker, however, is a joke. I, in no way, purchased this stroller for the speaker. it was an added bonus but it is as loud as a whisper. This stroller IS bigger than my old double stroller but I’m not concerned since we have a large vehicle to haul it.

Overall I really do love this stroller and hope it lasts our family as long as the last one did!.

I had gone back and forth- do I find a used Bob stroller or buy this one new? Since spending 600 on a stroller seems ridiculous to me. I am SO GLAD I bought this one. It was the only jogger I found that has double front wheels so both kids have foot room on the platform.

It was also one of the only ones that had a separated canopy. Which i have used differently to block wind from an infant and block sun off the 2 year old. PLUS it has a snack tray for each child which i also wasnt finding on any joggers.

If you need an off road stroller this is the stroller you NEED! I walked with my boys through the woods not on the trail and it went over sticks and logs with zero issues. It goes smoothly on our gravel driveway and through a hay field.

Out of four children I have yet to find, “The Perfect Stroller”. Well, I have now! This stroller is truly amazing. When it was invented, there had to be a mom and dad involved. The basket is larger than ANY stroller I have ever had.

I recently received this Baby Trend XCEL-R8 Plus Jogger. I found the jogger easy to assemble and put together in under 30 minutes. This jogger is amazing to handle on a variety of terrains (road, sidewalk, grass, gravel, etc).

I’m 5’3″ and my husband is 5’8″ and we both can easily and comfortably hold the grip handle. I like that there is a strap that attaches to the back of the jogger and then the other end goes around the adult’s wrist for added security.

I really like that the adult caddy has a space to hold my phone with a lid for security. The adult and child cup holders are ok, however, I would prefer if the cup holders were a little deeper for that extra security when jogging or strolling on bumpy terrain.

I prefer if the canopy was a little bigger and could go down further. The child’s seat is padded pretty good for comfort according to my kiddo’s opinion.
