This is a great appliance for those short on space, but it’s not without compromises. First off, it’s a fine microwave. Hybrid units by other manufacturers have made the microwave part very puzzling to use.

This is very straightforward and works like a regular microwave. The air fryer part of this is about 80% as good as a dedicated air-fryer, and a bit more fiddly to use. Especially awkward is the process of flipping food.

You don’t have a lot of clearance between the high rack, the tray, and the heating element, especially when you factor in an oven mitt. And there’s no handle on the tray. So if you’re flipping bacon, for example, the tip of the mitt might go into the bacon grease when pulling it out.

And putting the tray back in afterwards, one-handed, is especially challenging. It’s easy to miss getting all three legs of the tall rack back on the glass tray, which means the food will stop rotating and burn.

Fiddly bits aside, the trade-off are absolutely worth it for us considering how much counter space we save, especially after you get used to them. Speaking of counter space, this is one of the most compact hybrid units I found.

Comparable units from other manufacturers are much larger, so I appreciate GE being able to keep this compact. One pet peeve on this. When the unit heats up, it screeches at you for an extended amount of time to let you know it’s hot.

So every time you go to flip your food or pull it out of the unit you get to deal with *scrEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*. This would have been better off as a warning light similar to how induction cooktops work.

So far so good. The appeal was the air fry feature which I really wanted but didn’t want to lose any counter space. I blew up a plastic bottle of crystalized honey in my previous microwave, so what better excuse to buy a new unit with this feature.

It’s also very reasonably priced. First off, this thing is dead silent. The quietest microwave I’ve ever operated by far. Like another user commented it would be great if the buttons were illuminated, but that’s a feature you’re hard pressed to find at this price point.

Secondly, this unit is pretty darn compact. The dimensions were practically identical to the unit I was replacing (a Panasonic). The finish is even identical. This thing is also very powerful at 1050 watts.

My previous unit was 1100 or 1200 watts, but those 50-150 watts you’re likely not going to miss. Speaking of power, you may want to note that the plug is a down angle cord. I had to buy a swivel extension plug from Amazon, because this plug was sharing the same receptacle as my refrigerator, which is also a down angle plug/cable.

Thirdly, and this is actually a negative that another buyer commented on: full manual has to be downloaded off GE’s website. You’re going to need it with how many features this unit has besides Air Fry.

For instance, the included quick manual says you need to use the tall rack for Air Frying, but there’s a short rack with silicone feet also included and no mention of what it should be used for. Turns out you’re supposed to use if for Combo Cooking.

I found that using the tall rack actually burns food during Air Fry because it’s so close to the heating element above, so I’m not sure why GE is telling you to only use it for Air Frying. I found that the short rack with orange silicone feet works much better.

All in all I’m quite happy with this purchase and am excited to try other features and different foods.

This microwave has a lot of features and I haven’t had a chance to use them all. Everything with the cooking features seems to work really well, but there are a few things that are a bit annoying. First, the keypad is hard to read.

The letters and numbers are printed a medium grey on black, and I find especially the top of the keypad hard to read. Second, the timer cannot be set ahead of time and then started when you are ready.

On my previous GE microwave, this was possible. On this model, it starts counting down shortly after you set it, even if you have not pressed the start button. Last, I find some of the instructions confusing.

I was disappointed that only a quick start guide came with it. It was not enough to get me fully started. But I downloaded and printed out the full set of instructions. I don’t think they are very well laid out.

For instance, the info on each type of cooking is on its own page, but you have to flip to another page to find the correct type of cookware to use for microwave, air fryer, broiled, convection, and combination, and I’m still not sure about those last two.

Also, on the air fry instructions, it says to push the air fry button twice, then use the keypad to punch in the temperature. I had the oven several days before I figured out that the temperatures were in small print under some of the keypad buttons because of the difficult-to-read lettering.

I was trying to punch in the temperature using the numerical keypad itself. Last, I have some recipes. that call for the oven to be preheated. I did not see any instructions about whether that can be done, how to do it, how much time to add, etc.

Evidently this operates differently from appliances that are air fryers only. So, if these things don’t present issues, then it’s a good value. And I really like that the inside is stainless steel. My last one was painted, and the paint started to peel and rust formed inside.

I wear these as uniform undershirts and they do the job nicely. Fabric feels like good quality and the most important thing is that the collar is snug and keeps its shape very well without that loose sloppy look.

There are a few issues, but nothing worth returning them over. They do shrink quite a bit which would’ve made them on the smaller side for wearing by themselves. At least two of my six have a “puffy” shoulder where the torso and arm seam comes together; one shoulder is fine and the other puffs up at the top instead of following the contour of your arm/shoulder.

Almost all of them have hems at the waist or arm that creases and aren’t nice and flat. This is as if when they folded the material over to hem, it wasn’t done so evenly and got pulled one way or the other so there’s misalignment and a crease results between the folded edge and the hem.

I’ll be satisfied as long as the white doesn’t lose its brightness too quickly. They’re perfect for my purpose of wearing under a uniform, but I wouldn’t recommend them as a top layer.

I’ve been a Jockey customer for over a decade, and their tees were once the standard all others should be compared to. In fact, the Jockey Stay New Slim Crew (100% cotton / non-stretch variant) was the hands-down the best tee I ever bought.

Unfortunately, those are no longer sold on Jockey. com, so I mistakenly bought this 6-pack. I assumed that since these tees are from the Classics range, they would be time-tested quality. While the cut is a near perfect Jockey fit, the fabric feels low grade compared to the cotton used on the Stay New Slim Crew.

I’m not sure if it’s the finish, the knit, thread count or what. It feels a bit thinner & cheap. I only washed & tumbled dried once and all the hems on the end of the sleeves and bottoms of the tees bunched and shriveled.

I don’t use any washer & dryer out of the ordinary — just your standard Whirlpool front loaders. I tried washing again & it hasn’t helped. They just look cheap & low grade. I feel like I wasted my money.

Jockey, these tees are not up to your high standards. Please update these and/or bring back the Stay New Slim Crew.

Jockey has failed to understand the original function of the V-Neck T-shirt design which was to be worn with informal dress shirt. The V neck T-Shirt, unlike the crew neck T-Shirt, was originally designed to not show when worn with an open neck dress shirt.

A man’s neck and skin plus a cooler feel and perspiration protection for a good dress shirt was its focus when combined with an open neck dress shirt. Jockey has cast the deeper V-neck T-shirt aside and as a result has lost my business of 55 years.

The qualities of the T-shirt material and construction are high but I prefer another brand with a deeper V-neck T-Shirt. Jockey should offer a deep V-neck that always hides below an open V-neck shirt.

In addition, Jockey T-Shirts need to be marketed with a longer waist because clothes washes even in warm-cold water cause unacceptable shrinkage.

THE GOOD: My first 55″ tv ever and the first Sony in 25 years! First, the picture (4K) is superb and worth the cost. It walks all over ANY 1080 image! Plenty of adjustments you can make )some required reading to see exactly what they do).

Another positive is the weight at appx 50-55 pounds. Not bad because it is a big TV and should have some heft. Finally, sound is surprisingly GOOD for flat screen TV speakers. These speakers can get loud while staying quite clear, but this is no hard hitting subwoofer! As it sits, I had an easy time adjusting settings for loud/clear audio for NASCAR races and Indycar races.

I wish this Sony had 4 corner woofers for tight bass accompanying the good high and mid range sound it already has. The Neutral: I’m not happy, nor mad about the constant gagging to “setup your Google Tv channels now.

Well I use a ROKU with about 6 pay-for streaming channels and none are Google TV that the Sony software pushes so hard. It wasn’t very difficult to setup my ROKU, yet it wasn’t CLEARLY STATED / recommended for the best HDMI cable needed for true top of the line 4K viewing, great sound.

Sony should offer a TOP version HDMI cable for a great HDMI experience. PRICE: Obviously not cheap or free, but under $1000 with taxes and shipping. $865 shipped by FedEx 2-day delivery was fine with me.

The BAD: I feel Sony could have given a stronger warranty for a new, higher end set with a load of tips and tricks. I think a solid 6- month FULL COVERAGE warranty of items with shipping, handling, wear and tear, AND a comparable to even 1 step-up better model TV set to take its place in the event something goes afoul.

Finally back to speakers: these are great but with some Sony engineering magic, add a true bass speaker in the lower left and lower right front fascia to broadcast out hard hitting, tight, snappy BASS! Not a subwoofer; they would need too much room.

2 or even 4 square woofers would add next level sound! David.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use, power and convenience of the A9T-Auto. The suction in ‘turbo’ mode is excellent. I did not expect the A9T to be as powerful as our AC-powered 2200W barrel vacuum, which has a power head.

After giving an area of carpet 10 passes using the power head of our barrel vacuum, I was surprised that several passes with the A9T-Ultra in ‘turbo’ mode managed to lift additional dirt from the carpet.

The stick vacuum is easy to use, being lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. The swivelling multi-surface power head and extendable shaft make it easy to vacuum around and underneath objects. A major plus is that the multi-surface power head does not seem to clog up with long hair.

What little remains on the head is easy to remove. In contrast, the power head of our barrel vacuum requires disassembly and matted hair cut free with a sharp knife after every use. The ‘Kompressor’ lever has also proven effective at pushing off long hair wrapped around the primary cyclonic mesh filter, prior to auto-emptying in the tower.

Having two batteries is a major convenience. Although only lasting seven or eight minutes each in ‘turbo’ mode, we can vacuum our entire (carpeted) four bedroom house on the two batteries. In comparison, to clean the house with the barrel vacuum required two to three times as long and was certainly more onerous.

The vacuum is easy to disassemble and clean, and being able to wash the filters under the tap is a major advantage. The dust bag automatically sealing when removed from tower ensures there is no mess.

After one use, my daughter decided she wanted to replace her barrel vacuum with an A9T-Auto. There are some negatives, although minor. It would be useful to be able to separately purchase more of the additional tools (such as those provided with A9T-Ultra), and some method of being able to clip the crevice tool to the shaft of the stick when in use would be an advantage.

For those with small or weak hands, removal of the battery can be difficult. Increasing the suction from ‘power’ to ‘turbo’ mode would have been much more convenient with a single press of the ‘+’ button, rather than needing to hold it down for several seconds.

It would also have been convenient if the batteries charged in tandem. The dust bags are quite expensive and not designed to be reusable, although being supplied with three with the purchase was very handy.

Overall, the A9T-Auto is an excellent powerful and easy to use vacuum cleaner and highly recommended.

I was given the privilege of being able to test this vacuum from LG and my first impression was whoa this looks amazing quickly followed by a wave of panic thinking “ holy hell that’s a lot of parts “ But I have to say it was reasonably easy to put together with the instructions! I was extremely shocked at the price as this definitely fall is the higher end price range and to be fair personally I don’t think it’s worth the price! There was parts I loved and others were well a let down ! My kids usually love helping with the vacuuming but unfortunately this hand set is quite heavy and can be difficult to maneuver for little hands and a mum trying to juggle a toddler of their hip.

The small head seemed all but useless as it was difficult to get it to give a good clean of a surface! The large head well I have so many bits i personally dislike firstly is doesn’t eat Lego and it also doesn’t like stickers and both these things till be throw at you like a projectile when you lift the vacuum up and it’s still going and I can confirm it hurts when they connect.

Yes it’s sleek and stylish and will suit most design styles but it is bulkier than I expected! The mop head is easy to use I have to say I love the laminate instructions so there is not reason worry about ripped or water damaged instructions! So if you really want to spoil yourself with an very up market vacuum that may or may not vacuum up what you want to vacuum up give it a go.

The 2 batteries make it super easy and quick to swap them over and they both charge at the same time one in the handset and one in the stand. Unfortunately a mum of toddlers and older kids I don’t have the time to pick up every tiny piece off the floor so I can vacuum it without having it throw something at me.

The cyclonic wind that blows from the handset while is use is a tad intimidating if you have long hair as when you lean down your hair is super close to it. My family have all used it and had similar dislikes but all in all the carpet feels softer after using it as it doesn’t flatten the fibers and it feel soft and clean after each vacuum.

I can’t express how thankful I am for this opportunity !.

As a vacuum it’s perfectly acceptable. It does require a fair amount of regular maintenance (tip clean the interior dust trap weekly) but it does a good job picking up dust and hair. It does a terrable job of picking up anything the size of a small pebble or larger and most of the time it will just spit it back out.

The mop function on the other hand is awful. Really, don’t waste the extra hundred dollars for this particular version. The water can’t be controlled and just slowly drips out. Per the manual it only uses plain water so no soapy solutions to get the floors really clean.

The one time we used the mop function, the spin head on the vacuum part stopped working the next time we tried to use it. I don’t think it was related but we did have to return the unit for a replacement as a result.

The kompressor feature is nice to push down pet hair and results in having to empty it less often but sometimes pet hair gets stuck on the other side. When that happens more gets caught up there until you take the whole inside apart and clean it out.

Battery life is acceptable and I can usually get about 800 square feet of carpet on the second setting before one battery runs out. On the most powerful setting though I can maybe get a full bedroom before it runs out.

The extra battery it includes is a bonus. Also the stand works great and has a spot to charge the spare battery when you aren’t using it. Bottom line, this product is good but don’t waste your money on the version with the mop function, for the price you can get a standalone electric mop that out performs this one by miles.

Also full price is too much for this unit. I got it on sale for $550 and feel like that price is on the high end of what it is worth.

Ive been wearing 32×32 my whole adult life. I had to buy a 34×32 flex to get a waist that was ok but now feel too big. They fit nothing like an original 874 32×32. Stores sell flex dickies only so thats the only reason I decided to try them.

The waist does not flex at all nor do the legs or anything. Why would you use the term flex when there is nothing that moves like it has elastic in it. Now I noticed theres 2 different flex 874 out now.

One has a white traditional waist band and the other ones are black which is what I have. Maybe you have fixed the sizing problem. I now have 3 pairs of the black waist band 874 flex that I waisted $90.

I found $14 pants at walmart that fit perfect. I hope you stop using the flex term because that false. If they were truly a flex pant which has elastic throughout the whole pants I would be able to wear my 32 waist and my 33 waist which I cant even button.

Ive been trying to find this particular fit for a long time. I started wearing Dickies in 2002. It was a BMX thing with a pair of Etnies Shoes. These fit right and not baggy so the pants wouldnt get caught in the chain.

Would get the them at Goldman’s in Milwaukee, WI ALL COLORS. Also Walmart had them in black, grey, blue, sand. Then Goldman’s closed and Walmart switched to the goofy double knee and cell phone pockets, baggy as ever smh.

Smart phones were not a thing yet and online ordering was not convenient. These are the perfect fit from my generation. Not skinny jeans, not baggy, not high waters. Simple, sleek and right. I wear size 34 x 34.

I purchased 3 pairs of these pants in different colors. When they arrived I opened them up and I literally gagged from the smell. I don’t t know why new clothing would smell like they did. It was horrible.

Rotting fish is the best I can describe it. I did not want to deal with sending them back so I washed them. 4 times before the smell was finally gone. This is my first time ordering from Fingerhut and more than likely my last for al least clothing.

Tried to call customer service about this but the wait was too long. I am wondering if Fingerhut buys salvaged goods and sells them as new un damage?? Bad smelling clothes is damaged clothing to me.

Friday, February 4, 2022 I have had my Velocityone Flight Control (VFC) for 9 days. It has been very frustrating to pair with Microsoft Flight Simulator (MFS) as the VFC buttons don’t align with MSF joystick numbers (B4 is not the same as Joystick 4).

My first flight didn’t go well as the left & right brake button didn’t control the brakes and I ended up in the airport grass! Also the throttle didn’t act linear making it difficult to control the flight.

If you designed your VFC for MFS why did you not label your VFC with joystick numbers instead of the B numbers? Your wallchart is nicely done but doesn’t help me setup for flying. I have been in MFS (latest update 1.

22. 2. 0) control section which recognizes your VFC and attempted to re-label several controls but found some of the changes didn’t work. I have had MFS since it came out and used a CH Control Manager.

I spent many days attempting to set it up and only got mediocre results. Your marketing materials were well done and gave me confidence that your VFC be what I wanted to enjoy MFS. I give you 5 stars for design & quality appearance but give you 1~2 stars on function.

• Are there updates I need to get besides V1F SIP V1. 2. 5? • Is there addition software that will aid me ? • Am I missing something in MFS that would lead me to change joystick designations to VFC designations? Thank you for reading this.

Using with a PC and MS Flight Simulator. Unit looks nice. Attaches to desk easily. Had trouble with default control assignments and matching controls to inputs. The first thing that you have to do to fly is Release Parking Brakes.

MSFS says to press Joystick Button 3. Where’s that? Press B3 and the engine turns off. Tried to assign correct buttons in the Controls menu, where you can “scan” inputs, meaning that you select the control that you want to assign and then press a button and FS recognizes the input and assigns it.

Pushed B3, FS recognized it as B2, ok went to fly anyway, press B3 and the engine turns off. Looked at website for support, no phone number to call, no article about this issue, you can only fill out a form and wait for a response.

Maybe user error on all of this. But even if there were no issues with the button assignments, ultimately the yoke is jerky, especially if using it one-handed to keep your other hand free to work other controls like the throttle.

Really need to have 2 hands to pull and push the yoke with even pressure to keep it from binding. When landing, one hand on the throttle and one hand on the yoke is what you need. Might be a good controller for a casual user, just not what I am looking for.

Might be a good one for the price also, what I am looking for will probably be a lot more expensive.

The VelocityOne is a substantial Yoke (which i have for the Xbox Series X). I have had no problems with 12m of USB cable. I did find that MSFS 2020 refused to recognize the yoke until I reinstalled all 105gb of the app (yay?) but the yoke feels highly realistic.

The 3 items I wish were better were that it came out of the box with a 4-engine jet profile, the jet throttles had a smidge more resistance and detents for the Airbus throttle mode detents. In addition the vernier controls for the single engine needs more resistance (it would be cooler if the buttons worked like they do on a cessna but that would likely be cost prohibitive).

I might 3D print some TPE wipers for the rods to add a bit more resistance. But the heft feels very real. One challenge which I can’t understand (and not just for turtle beach) is the buttons on the yoke and the button names on the MSFS control screen have zero to do with each other.

Makes it very hard, but the training mode is excellent for debugging what is what). It is also hard to see the labels on the buttons below the throttles when the throttles are all the way back (as they are at startup).

I have this mounted on a wheel stand which worked perfectly. The warning lights at this point do not work yet (I mean they light and are always on) but that is listed as a future feature.

Once again, tomorrow morning I will call the appliance store where I bought this unit about 9 1/2 months ago. A technician has made a service call at least 5 or 6 times. When I first got it, I loved it.

Larger tub and dryer than the unit I replaced. However, I. had the other unit for 14 years, never had a service call and it was still working when I replaced it. I was remodeling my house and purchased all new appliances, but I regret buying the one I have.

First service call was because the only way I could get it to drain was to manually select the Drain & Spin cycle, after the wash cycle, then run the wash cycle again with no detergent to substitute for the risnse cycle.

The technician said I was using too much detergent so the sensor wouldn’t allow the washer to drain. He also told me I was mixing light pieces with heavy ones and I couldn’t do that with this washer “which was not meant to operate like a full size washer, was intended for apartments.

Anyway he got it working properly. I( have carefully measured the detergent has he instructed and for a while if I only washed a set of twin sheets, it worked fine. But if I did a load of towels–one bath towel, a reversible fabric bath mat, my light weight waffle weave towel wrap, a hand towel, a washcloth and a turbo twist very small hair drying towel, it wouldn’t drain.

I didn’t dare add anything to either load except for those items and NEVER mixed sheets and towels which I find ridiculous. Sometimes the speed wash cycle would work but even that wouldn’t drain and finally not a single cycle works.

As soon as the washer with the loads I have described above, fills to the level I have selected it immediately starts to drain, but never goes into the spin cycle. My warranty expiration is the last of September I am beginning to get really nervous but not to the extent that I will extend the warranty at $90 a year! I want this unit fixed or replace with the service call I will request tomorrow.

And I am really anxious about the French doors refrigerator, the kitchen range, and the microwave I bought at the same time. All of the other appliances I used for 14 years with never a single service call is what I expected for these GE products.

If the other appliances had still been available I never would have switched brands. For 60 years I had a succession of that brand of appliances that lasted for many years, totally trouble free. To say I am disappointed in my GE purchases is an understatement.

This is the worst washing machine I have ever had. These High Efficiency machines use very little water. But this one is beyond the pale. If you look inside this machine as it’s running you can barely see any water and not all the clothes are even wet, even if you use the “bulky items” setting, which according to the user guide is supposed to fill the tank with water.

Result is that it beats the clothes to a pulp as it washes. Even after one washing of cotton tee shirts you can see the wear on the fabric. And then there’s the spin cycle problem. Because there is not enough water the clothes often distribute to one side and the spin cycle turns into an out of balance condition – just about every time! Left to it’s own the machine will then do another “rinse” (rinse is in quotes because rinse cycles on this machine don’t use enough water to actually rinse out the soap), further beating the clothes to a pulp and then going into another out-of-balance spin, and then repeating ad infinitum.

You have to be there to stop the machine, redistribute the clothes and switch it to the “drain and spin” cycle. I have tried faking the machine out by adding a few quarts of water with the clothes before it does its load detection in the hope that the machine will think I have a bigger load and then add more water.

This helps a little, but not enough to solve the problems. Also, you have to dilute the detergent with the water you add before the machine starts because otherwise there is not enough water in the tank to dilute the detergent and you find detergent on the clothes when the cycle completes — which you then have to wash off by hand.

I am very sorry I bought this machine and plan to replace it very soon.

We had been reviewing this and other laundry center units for over a year. After much debate and discussions with salespeople in several stores we decided to purchase this unit. I was looking forward to having a washer and dryer with more capacity.

This unit does have that however the number of times I have had the machine go out of balance since the purchase has been absolutely infuriating and unacceptable. It does not matter how we have loaded the machine, large or small, clothing or bedding or towels, every third load or so it goes out of balance.

We made sure the unit is level and followed the instructions on how to load the machine correctly. We have spoken to the store where we purchased the unit several times and they have been as helpful as they as possible, but we are still having the same issue.

You have to sit by the machine to make sure you stop it before the drum breaks through the front of the machine. We have a limited area in which to place it which happens to be right next to the hot water heater and we simply cannot take the chance of the machine pushing it over.

We have spoken to GE and the store where we purchased the machine and have been told not only by the store but other stores as well that this is a very common problem with these new units. After checking other laundry centers except for a front load machine, the drum is loose and has a tendency to unbalance.

I do not understand why anyone would make a machine that does this. We are now trapped and have no recourse; I do hope in the near future your engineers will rethink how to build a machine that doesn’t unbalance like this.

We have had 2 other laundry centers prior to this, the last one for 16 years, and NEVER had a problem with unbalanced loads.

We needed a clothes washer fast as our old unit had shook itself to death, I had past knowledge with LOWE’S Appliance as they always came thru with great service so I contacted a local store and went on Line to check out various units.

Due to the features and price I selected the GE model GTW335ASN2. Features were to be just the basic controls minimum bells and whistles with a stainless steel tub and price around $600. 00. After reading the reviews that were generally positive, the price and features I proceeded with purchase.

Lowes came thru with delivery on time and installation was straight forward. I am so happy with the unit and the common sense controls and layout, much much more than expected for the price. There are two important controls this unit has, 1.

) Is the pause button which shuts down the unit and unlocks the tub lid when in spin cycle and is handy say you need to add more clothes, the unit is vibrating more than sensor can correct and you have to adjust clothe distribution in tub (Only had to do this once when one heavy garment was among other light ones) after adding clothes or adjusting imbalance issues simply hit pause button again and unit starts where it left off not back at the start.

2. ) The other great control is the DEEP RINSE Button. I use this function a lot because we have extremely hard water and the extra rinse and wash cycle gives you a much cleaner load I have seen the difference in our whites and colors.

I wanted a reasonably priced unit I have it, I wamted quality I have it, I wanted it to be simple to use I have it. I wanted it to be designed with common sense and appropriate controls I have it.

If you buy this washer, get an extended warranty or a computer that is used to troubleshoot it. I really should have bought the Speed queen washing machine instead of this one. Doesn’t clean well, even for something as simple as bodywash rags.

Do not purchase this machine if you have older plumbing set up. The pressure is too much and will flood out of the drain pipe vs the older style washing machines that slowly released the water. The common issues I’ve had with it are as followed: *If anyone has any knowledge on these issues please let me know* -If you like to presoak your clothing, then do it in a separate container or tub because The water will drain out within about 7-10 minutes so.

-unlike my previous washing machine that (I wish I would have brought with me) was the old school type, theres no way to reset the washer until it’s finished whatever it’s doing. Unplugging it does not reset.

Old school washers can be reset just by unplugging it. If this washer is stuck in the issue cycle, you cannot fix it without a computer compatible with the brand. -randomly This washer will be in mid-cycle on the wash setting and will dump all of the water before it has finished.

It doesn’t happen all the time but it’s common. Leave the lid open otherwise it can start by itself. -before the one year manufacturers warranty was up, I had three service techs here fixing the issues.

I really regret getting this washing machine and I regret not having the money to get the extended warranty. The techs did not recommend this model based on the quantity of the service calls he got on it.

-Becomes unbalanced frequently. Even when one of the technicians was here, he ran it through about 10 cycles to make sure everything was okay and he brought his stuff to put into the drum to make it balanced, it kept throwing off balance codes and the washing machine moved about 4 ft away from my wall and almost caused a flood.

I do not recommend.

I SENT A REVIEW TO GE IN JUNE 23,2022: I got my washer installed on June 3, 2022. My 20+ year old washer was removed & recycled before the new old came. This washer had a very cheap short plastic hose for removing the water with a poorly designed terrible fastener.

Of the 4 washes I did the hose came off 3 times flooding my basement. I went back to Home Depot where I bought it an explained my problem. I told them my old washer had a good RUBBER hose with a spring type fastener that you tightened with a screw.

It also had a hooked top to set in the drain. I wished I had kept that old hose that never ever gave me any problem. The woman at Home Depot gave me a better hose at no charge. It is an 8 foot hose with the same type of fastener and had a hooked end like my old hose.

It is plastic but it is more flexible and a better grade than the one that came with the washer. It was only $14. 95. I have only done one wash since but I think this hose will be more dependable and I won’t have to stay and watch it.

This is what I hope solves this problem for another 20+ years. They sure don’t make thing like they used to. Another problem is trying to stop the washer it seems to restart at the beginning of the cycle when you hit the pause button.

The only thing I like so far is the quick cycle. The other ones seem to take an awful lot of time with pauses I don’t understand. BETTER HOSE: Everbilt 8 ft. Corrugated Washing Machine Discharge Hose HRBDIS08EB.

This thing is absolute garbage. Why would you even make a mic with a desk stand that cannot be used unless you put your mouth right up to it? I expected I’d be able to maintain some distance and let this sit on my desk and talk in a google meets or whatever video conference.

Nope. They should forget the stand it give you a lapel clip so you can attach it to your shirt collar because even at that distance it would be suspect. It picks up almost no sound when you speak at it, but it picks up every single time you touch the desk, type a key, or whatever.

And this is with it sitting on a rubber foam mouse pad to insulate it some from vibrations. Sadly I bought this and didn’t have time to install it so it’s past the return period. That part is my fault, but the mic itself is worthless.

There’s no controls on it to adjust the input level. Turned all the way up in windows it gets about 15-17% as a max. Nobody can hear you. People in the reviews talk of a mute button but this doesn’t have one of that that I see.

What a disappointment.

I purchased this as a replacement for a Blue Snowball that died on me after 4 good years of daily use and abuse. Physically, the Solocast feels solidly built, and the “tap to mute” button on the top is pretty intuitive.

This mic is good for the price, but don’t expect it to be the “end-all” of USB mics. The Solocast is very “mid-heavy”; lows and highs have noticeable compression to them. This isn’t inherently bad, but it can cause the Solocast to sound flat.

It’s very apparent in voice calls where bitrate is on the lower side of “good” (Discord, Teamspeak, Zoom, etc). I strongly suggest buying a shock mount and pop filter as well as this mic loves to pick up plosives.

The Snowball, while having a lower frequency range, almost sounded better tonally in my opinion. It picked up more “low-end” and gave an almost announcer or podcast feel. I ended up returning this mic and purchasing it’s bigger brother: the HyperX Quadcast.

The price jump for the Quadcast is definitely worth it, but if you only have $60 to spend, the Solocast should suffice. However, I highly recommend looking at the Snowball for comparison before purchasing.

You can’t really go wrong with either for $60, but what kind of sound you want will determine which you should get.

I got this on sale for $39. 99 but even at full price this is a perfect microphone for gaming or business use. I’m a simple person so I love that it’s plug & play without needing to download additional software that use gimmicky voice changers etc.

It also features one big button at the top to mute/unmute. The microphone is solid red when it’s unmuted and blinks red when muted. The mic sits on my desk with the included holder and the included cable is lengthy so there should be no issue putting it in the perfect spot.

I have no issues with voice quality at all my freinds on Discord were impressed when I told them it’s just a cheap HyperX mic because they have +$100 Yeti mics. If you’re on the fence about this mic this is your sign to pull the trigger!.

Have just replaced and installed a GE model JNM3161DF2BB 1. 6 cu foot microwave oven with the newer, same size, GE model JVM3160DF8BB. The prior GE microwave lasted only 7 years before it continually started tripping the circuit breaker and eventually blowing some internal circuitry with a puffed sound and a lasting burnt smell.

Nor was this without issues over the years. The top grille cracked long ago. The door handle had broken twice and instead of replacing the expensive door or handle unit required by GE, was able to epoxy the handle back in place both times.

Unfortunately, it seems that the new appliance will suffer from door problems as well. The door feels very light and is a bit flimsier than the prior microwave’s door. There are also numerous customer reports of the door handle breaking, having to replace the door, and undergo the complex door replacement procedure on this newer JVM3160 model.

This model does make a clunking noise each time it starts and stops and when the door operates. Likewise, there are many current reports of circuits tripping and internal fuses blowing on the newer JVM3160 model.

I had decided to buy this newer very similar 1. 6 cu foot GE model, with identical dimensions, with hopes that it would mount with the same wall mounting plate and existing drilled overhead openings for the cabinet bolts and power cable as the prior appliance.

However, not surprisingly, GE decided to change all that. The mounting plate and mounting holes have been redesigned so, after having to remove the old mounting assembly and hardware, it was basically a new install with new holes in the wall and upper cabinet.

Also GE has done away with the upper cabinet middle bolt which used to screw down into the unit. The current mounting will hold, although not as securely, and with a slight gap, as there are only two bolts, one on either end.

Even the top-mounting bolts which were sent with this unit were changed. They are round-head, unlike the picture in the Installation Instructions, so do not sit flush with the inside cabinet surface.

The old bolts were flat. It seems that, most often being the case, a company must always redesign an updated product with changes, even if those changes are detrimental and not as good as the features on the prior model.

Obviously they are detracting on safety and features, at the expense of the customer. This review is echoing many of the same problems listed in reviews by other purchasers of this same GE JVM3160DF8BB microwave.

An even bigger issue is a glaring engineering bug, or product design flaw, in the venting grill which is located above the charcoal filter on the top of the unit. The prior model’s grille had slats with small openings which were more than adequate for providing plenty of recirculated venting.

However regardless of the type of venting used, whether outside top, outside back, or recirculating, everyone’s microwave will now have the same inadequate top grille. There are five large openings in the new grille which would easily allow things to fall inside the microwave.

Three of these gaping holes measure 3-3/4″ by 1″. One reviewer mentioned that he even had to tape over these large openings. I am not doing that on my appliance but I am concerned and have called GE Engineering on this issue.

After six weeks, have not heard back. So much for customer support. This design change is potentially damaging to the microwave itself. No doubt people who own this model may not be able to avoid getting debris and objects inside the microwave which could create issues and detract from the life of the appliance.

I see no purpose other than being detrimental to have exposed the top surface of the microwave to these large openings. So what is good about the GE JVM3160DF8BB microwave? Well, for now it is working and it is an attractive appliance above the GE stove.

Purchased this new JVM3160RF8SS as replacement for an existing JVM3160RF5SS purchased about 4 1/2 years ago that failed in service. Was hoping that the installation task would be to simply remove the existing microwave and hang the new one on the existing wall brackets utilizing the same holes drilled in the kitchen cabinet above.

It was necessary to instead use a completely different wall bracket provided with the new microwave and drill all new holes in the kitchen cabinet above. A quick swap out turned out to require the same work effort as a first time install.

I was disappointed with the short 4 1/2 year service life provided by the existing GE microwave. Replacement of failed microwave door micro switches only extended the unit life for a couple of months.

It was decided to replace the existing microwave with a new one as continued repair was no longer cost effective. Otherwise the features, performance and appearance of the JVM3160RFSS are great for the price paid.

Looked at some competing microwave models that had a much more solid feel but also had considerably higher pricing. Hoping this revision JVM3160RFSS lasts considerably longer than 4 1/2 years.

I purchased this after my first one stopped working. I replaced my JVM3160DF4WW with a newer JVM3160DF5WW. I got the same model because it was in stock at the store, I could use the same wall mounts and cutouts, and I liked the features.

The older one had a sleeker door handle but it broke off after a year and I had to epoxy it together (a replacement handle was far too expensive to order). The new one has a more basic handle that may be sturdier.

However, the real problem came after 2 1/2 years when it would short (i. e. throw the breaker) if the door was opened before cooking finished to interrupt it. Eventually it wouldn’t power on after resetting the breaker.

With some web help and YouTube videos I saw how to diagnose the problem— it was a bad door switch on the control panel which replaced with a $5 part ordered online. That partially fixed things so that we could use the oven as long as we remembered to cancel the cook time rather than open the door while it was still going.

After a half dozen times over several months in which we accidentally opened the door before the end it shorted out completely so that it wouldn’t start after resetting the breaker. I will answer NO to whether I would recommend this product—but my real answer is MAYBE.

It depends on whether GE was aware of this issue and done anything different regarding electrical shorting when opening the door during operation.

We replaced three twenty-year-old toilets with three Toto Aquia IV Dual Flush Two-Piece toilets about 3-1/3 years ago. We’ve been delighted with all three. They’re not perfect, but in all the important ways, they’ve been excellent: They’re almost impossible to stop up, and we always get a complete flush, unlike the toilets these replaced.

The dual flush function is also flawless. We did have a problem with one of the three samples where the equivalent of the flapper valve would occasionally fail to seat, allowing the toilet to continue to run until we realized the water was still running.

Nevertheless, we fixed the issue by making a simple adjustment, thanks to Toto’s excellent tech support. We do have two minor complaints: 1) While the toilet seat is very comfortable and looks great, the underside of the seat is a challenge to keep clean because, rather than a typical one-piece design, the bottom is hollowed out and has four protruding supports used to stabilize the seat.

The way the seat is attached has also been a problem. Rather than using a standard bolt to connect the seat to the toilet, the seat relies on a rubber expansion fitting; this is necessary due to the toilet’s streamlined design.

However, we have found that this allows the seat to become misaligned over time, despite having retightened the screws that engage the rubber expansion fittings. 2) The finish of the bowl’s surface is somewhat prone to not releasing matter, despite the toilet’s vigorous flush.

A quick swish of a toilet brush solves the problem, but I would have preferred a finer surface treatment. Overall, the Aquia IV Dual Flush Two-Piece toilet is a beautiful and well-performing toilet that we would purchase again.

We highly recommend it.

This Toto toilet is expensive at almost $800 but the toilet seat that came with it. is squeaky, poor quality, and “cheap”. When I sit on the toilet seat. it squeaks and creaks! I weigh 120 lbs, so the issues isn’t my weight.

The seat feels unstable and hollow. If the toilet were of sub quality, I’d expect the same of the seat. But this Toto is high end. PLEASE replace this sub quality seat with one that’s solid and stable, of comparable quality to the toilet.

I read someone else’s review with the very same complaint but obviously customer service/manufacturing didn’t take note as nothing has been done about upgrading the toilet seat that comes with this Toto toilet.

Also, 4 Kohler toilets were installed in guest bathrooms and this one Toto in our master bathroom. The installer said the Kohler installations were a breeze. The base was solid, flat and immovable. He said that the TOTO had a very archaic design to it, requiring him to drill holes into our newly tiled floor to install it.

and it still required a shim to keep it from rocking with instability. We bought the Toto for our master as an upgrade to the Tornado Flush, skirted and one piece design instead of the two piece, skirted Kohler we used for guest bathrooms.

The Toto flush is good but the seat and installation are sorely in need of improvement/upgrading. and brings the quality of toilet down overall. My husband said because of this experience, he would buy a Kohler hands down over a Toto.

and would never buy a Toto again. Toto, please rectify this poor quality issue with your seat and awkward archaic installation design. Does Toto have an alternate option for a quality solid toilet seat for this model that doesn’t creak and squeak?.

The toilet itself seems great so far. We have had it installed for about one week, and its operation has been very smooth and quiet. I notice that less debris is stuck on the toilet bowl walls after flushing, probably because of the cyclone flushing action.

A plumber installed it for us, to replace an older one-piece Toto toilet. He didn’t complain about difficulty and it seemed straightforward for him. The one disappointment is that the included seat is incredibly creaky and loud.

It even creaks when my 50 lb. daughter uses it. Us parents in the house are average sized people, and it is even worse for us. It definitely feels like a downgrade from our previous model Toto soft-closing seat.

The plastic feels decidedly cheaper than the old one that was in use about 20 years. We wouldn’t try to return an already installed toilet, and the seat is the only problem for us so far. So it just feels disappointing that quality didn’t match the price on this one plastic part.

I plan to try spraying some lubricant on the hinges of the seat, to see if it will make a difference. I will update the review if it helps.

This unit looks sleek and modern. I love the lighted drums, the cycle finish tunes, and the easy to reach control panel. It is quiet, both washing and drying. However there is quite a learning curve for me and my laundry routines to accommodate the Washtower operation.

This unit was a replacement for front loading pair vintage 2004. In most cases my laundry was 2 cycles and 2 temperature combinations for settings for both wash and dry. Now I pine for the simplicity of my “old fashioned” machines and find the features that are supposed to be helpful are not.

For example, the most frustrating part of this unit is the inability to fully program loads to get the combinations of washing and drying temperatures. From the fabric care tags (which I follow diligently) most wash loads are warm or cold wash in normal or delicate cycle and drying on low heat.

Washing can usually be accomplished by selecting some garment category which may or may not exactly describe what is being washed. Drying however is a much bigger problem. The only way I can get a low temperature dry is to use a delicate cycle and adjust from there to get the clothes dry.

Often parts of a load require 2-3 trips to get dry (particularly waistbands and thick ply construction around pockets). I felt I could overcome this with the ability to create my own settings on a downloadable program, but as yet I have yet to be able to find how to do this, even with the Thinq app and wifi connection.

Descriptions of the feature abound but I have yet to find actual instructions to accomplish this. The larger openings make getting clothes in and out easy, however the large door swing has made my laundry room setup much less convenient than before and I’m contemplating having to have the space revamped to provide easier access.

I’m trying really hard not to be an “old dog” and learn some new tricks, but often I pine for my familiar, functional 15+ year old set. My recommendation of this product would come with the caveats explained above.

We recently moved into condo in downtown Toronto and inherited an early 90’s vintage Maytag Laundry Centre. I put a few repair dollars into the washer but the dryer was failing with no option to repair as the parts we needed were longer available.

I had done a fair amount of research on which new pair we would invest in and it kept coming back to the LG Washtower. It fit the tight space and covered all bases for what our family of three needs are.

Most reviews I read were positive and the people who wrote them were very commonsensical people. Seems any bad reviews I read were written by people who either did not know what they were doing, had poorly researched the machine, and or did not have the machine properly installed.

Lowes brought and installed the Washtower correctly after they removed the old one. I had supplied new hoses as per their requirement. We bought the white cabinet version and although it has less bells and whistles, it was $200 cheaper.

Less is more in my way of thinking. There are enough load type choices for the laundry you need to do and all customizable. If you want more, use the App but I find the machine pretty much covers everything.

The thing is easy enough to use. It’s almost anticlimactic once you use it a few times. Purely and and simply, the washer washes fine and the dryer dries the way you would expect. It’s relatively quiet.

I have read some silly complaints about little things that some people find annoying but in the end it’s still just a washing machine. If all else fails. follow instructions I’ve done towels, bedding and regular clothes washing.

It all came out clean and dry. There are other potentially better machines out there but also more costly. This one seems to be a good blend of cost and performance and seems uniquely suited to tight spaces.

It does the job. The App is the only thing that needs work but it is helpful to some degree. But using it will not make your clothes any cleaner.

This washer dryer stackable is nicely designed. The center menus are accessed easily. The aesthetics of this machine are clean and I like the color (dark grey). The cubic size for both are perfect for the two of us.

I feel like it cleans better than my old setup. There’s only one drawback at this moment. The instructions say to wipe down the washer after use. and to leave the door open for 24 hours to avoid mold/mildew.

There are many folds in the rubber where water can/does get trapped. We do wipe it down but, it’s a bit of a hassle. We are complying with the suggestions and additionally wiping down the interior with distilled vinegar once a week to boot.

I saw this on YouTube and feel it’s a good idea. We’ve had ours for 4 weeks and the mildew smell is already present. I think it’s a design flaw personally. Anyways, doing these three things to prevent mold is a pain and I never had to do this with my old machine.

Hopefully, we don’t end up with black mold inside despite our vigilance.

I am very disappointed with my new GE range which I’ve had for only a week. While I understand that the Sensi-Temp Technology is supposed to guard against potential ignition of food, for us it has resulted in guarding against the boiling of water.

(We were able to bring a standard tea kettle of tap water to boiling in about 16 minutes. ) When I complained about this initially I was told that the burner shuts off as soon as it reaches a certain temperature and that the stove is working as designed.

For me, this “feature” truly limits the usefulness of the stove. I requested service as I thought there might be some sort malfunction in the technology, but the service man confirmed that the burners were working as designed.

This does not seem to be as much of a problem for the smaller burners so I have been using them for most of my stove-top cooking which is not what one’s expectation should be with 4 burners. I grew up with a GE stove and I remember that Julia Child used to cook with a GE stove on her PBS series.

But this stove is nowhere near the quality of those earlier models. For ecological reasons, I decided to purchase an electric stove this time around rather than a gas model, although the gas model stove top is very responsive to temperature adjustments.

On the plus side, the stove is attractive and the oven has worked well when baking,. something I do frequently. My last stove had a radiant heat top, but I decided to go back to the coil design when one of those burners was “all or nothing” and a second burner’s top heating capability was “medium.

” Now I am stuck with a stove that does not meet my basic cooking expectations and I am sorely disappointed. While I did read product reviews, I did not see this particular issue addressed until going back to the reviews after I received the product.

I write this review to hopefully steer a prospective buyer into going slightly up the GE range ‘food chain’ for many more features. I’ve lived in an apartment for eight years. The range it came with was a Whirlpool, decent enough but was getting old.

I negotiated new appliances upon renewing my lease and this was the range that was installed with other Slate finished GE appliances. I was quickly disappointed because while the newness was great, the range: -Did not have a ‘light on’ feature when opening the door.

Had to switch the light on/off by hand. Ridiculous cost saver. (Previous range did) – There was no quick warming feature for oven. You could go to 170* to warm but had to enter bake and cycle the temp back from 350* to 170*.

There are no number keys to enter a temp. (Previous range did) – On entering bake, display panel only shows ‘PrH’ or pre-heat. Does not give time countdown until ready or current temp. (Previous range gave time countdown) – Control panel extends over the cooktop surface limiting the height of a pan that can be used while centered on the back burners.

I could get the job done but it was basic, lacking features and controls that I had in the older range and that are available – along with much more – in a GE range that is only $130-140 more depending on color: Model# JB735EPES (Slate) I will write a review on this better-featured range but suffice to say it has: convection bake and roast and air fry, oven light switch activated when opening door as well as with panel switch, five burners (vs 4) with warming burner center back, numeric keypad for precise and quick temp control, ‘warm’ feature with one button push, bottom heating element is concealed by metal panel greatly easing cleanup and which also serves as a water container for use with the ‘steam clean’ feature (normal high heat cleaning is also a feature), on entering bake the display gives the current temp as it heats up so you can estimate time left or use current temp for other needs, has larger elements on the right front side to accommodate 12″ pans.

The convection bake, roast and air fry features are definite game changers and give added dimension to your cooking options. Basically externally it looks almost like the model above but with five control knobs vs four, five burners with a larger one, and more control button switches.

It still has the control panel overhang but I can live with that. Who lives in an apartment. and then buys their own appliances?? I saw all of these features when casually looking at Home Depot. and I actually bought the Model# JB735EPES with my own funds, turning the other one back to the apartment complex.

In the grand scheme of things I am planning to stay here for some time and I do a lot of cooking and the added features are worth it to me. The ‘new’ range provided by the apartment complex, while nice ‘n new, had fewer features than the 10+ year old one it replaced.

If you are considering this range, seriously look at the added features and capabilities available with just a small jump in price by opting for the Model# JB735EPES (this is the model # for the Slate color which matched my other GE appliances installed).

My old range died a few weeks ago, and when I went to my local appliance store, they only had two choices available for a white electric range–this one with a glass top, and a coil-burner option. Fortunately I’ve been very happy with this one so far.

Pros: *Oven and stovetop heat up quickly. *Front burners with the small/large option are very convenient. *Attractive appearance. Cons: *The “self clean” button is right in the middle of the buttons you’ll use all the time (start, temperature, etc.

). So I’m constantly hitting it by accident and having to quickly cancel. I don’t know why they didn’t put it on the other side. *There’s some kind of black rubber around the top of the glass stovetop, and it comes off on my dishcloth when I clean the surface.

*You’ll also need to get special glass cleaner for the top, but it’s relatively easy to clean. *The oven racks don’t seem to support much weight without bowing in the middle. I was baking in a Dutch oven and when I pulled the rack out partway to lift the lid and check it, the rack bowed forward and almost tipped my dish onto the floor.

Due to shortages and delays, I ended up purchasing a floor model with some shipping damage to the drawer under the oven. I was able to order a new part directly from GE (for only $25!). Installation of the new drawer front was pretty easy, even for someone like me who isn’t super handy.

Overall I would recommend this appliance. So far it’s been a good value for the price.

Overall, it’s a decent enough washer with some tacked on “smart” app features that are pretty worthless. Pros • Top Load is easy to reach into for shorter folks than most top loads • Overall cleans clothes well enough, but we usually don’t have grass stains, etc.

• FlexDispense is nice Cons • Annoyingly loud during “agitation”. coming from a front load I guess that’s the price to pay these days? I don’t know if it’s due to not having an agitator but the motor changing direction every 2 seconds causes a “silence” then “loud sound” very similar to the GTW460 washer they have.

You can find videos on GE’s site with the sounds. If you have this in a laundry room close to a living room or kitchen be prepared to hear it during the first 15-20 minutes of the cycle. If it were a constant sound it would eventually just be “background noise” but the alternating quiet and loud is what’s annoying.

• No chime sound when cycle is done out of the box. This seems to be fixed by running the app though to update the firmware on the washer. The chime is there when it ends but it isn’t as loud as the startup sound which is disappointing.

• Smart features are pretty worthless so far. The app isn’t intuitive for this model yet for setup. You’ll likely get confused when adding it because none of the current pictures in the app show this model.

You just have to pick the top load model and the follow the instructions in the app to get an idea of holding down the button to get the wifi to be solid and then after adding the washer it gets better in the app.

It will update the firmware on the washer itself too, but it doesn’t really say why or what’s been improved or added. It does give you access to a “water dispenser” feature in the app to allow the washer to dispense water onto clothing for stain sticks or spray, but the directions on how to turn it off after dispensing water don’t work on this washer (says to just turn the cycle dial to turn off but that does nothing).

I guess the washer assumes you’ll be running a load immediately. The app won’t let you actually control much on the washer or start a cycle in it’s current app version. You can stop a cycle though. It DOES give you notifications on when a cycle is ending or finished…but again…why do I need an app for this versus an audible chime on the washer itself? Overall I give it a 3/5.

It’s good at washing clothes, but the cons are pretty annoying. Calling this a “smart” washer and charging for such is going to make tech savvy people attracted to it only to be let down. The agitation sound though is what really lowers the rating…if it were quieter during agitation it would be 4 to 4.

5 stars despite the other downfalls.

So far the washer seems to be a nice replacement for our previous washer that broke after only 6 years. This is basically the same washer, so hoping it will last longer than 6 years. First issue occurred before the delivery guys had even left my driveway.

Went to bend the drain hose to go into the drain pipe and it snapped in the accordion section of the hose. I don’t know if it was just defective or too cold or what, but showed it to the delivery guys that made note of it.

Had to go to big box store where I bought the washer to get a universal one, which the didn’t charge me for, so that was helpful. Overall seems to wash well, a bit noisier than our previous washer, but not any louder, just different mechanical noises.

Has a lot of options for washing modes. More modes on the app, if you connect the washer to your WiFi. This was a rushed purchased do to our old washer failing, I did not purchase this for it’s connected features, nor did I realize it was a connected device until I started reading the manual.

That said, I like the app, even though it didn’t function properly initially. Every time I tried to go to the Download Cycle option, the app would shut down. Tried it again a couple of days or a week later and now it has options available.

Within the app you can turn on a water stream for pre-wash/spot wash stains (I guess?) which is interesting, but you have to carry your phone around all the time to use the feature, it is not selected from the washer itself.

It has a third/forth dispenser cup call Flex Dispense, for detergent, pre-wash, extra wash stuff, but again can only be utilized through the app, so kind of useless. Also, it only has two options in the app for what’s in the Flex Dispense cup, detergent and vinegar.

There’s a search feature, but nothing I searched for ever returned a result and was therefore unselectable. I’d like to use it for either Clorox 2 or Oxi powder, but those options are not available. So more of a gimmick it seems.

I suppose you could just put either of those in there an select when you want it added, but whatever. Clothes come out a lot less tangled in this washer than our previous one, which is a big plus.

I purchased this over the black friday weekend at a steal. The quality and feature set for the price I paid is unmatched. The capacity of this washer is immense. I have yet to encounter a garment or laundry load situation where I wasn’t able to fit everything and have the machine actually clean the contents correctly.

Pros: Wireless connectivity via smartthings and google home. It’s nice to get a notification when your load is complete. Capacity – it’s huge and deep. Fits king size comforters fits easily. Quiet operation.

Slow close lid – no more slamming of the washer lid. Auto-dispense – I never thought this would be such a useful feature but I really do enjoy loading detergent and softener and being able to run many loads without having to fill detergent/softener each time.

I also like that you can manually adjust how much of each is used per-load. Cons: The lid and control panel are a fingerprint magnet. If you’re a neat freak, this will be really annoying. I’ve been extremely pleased with this washer (and dryer) and highly recommend it.

NOTE: Short people may find reaching down into the tub a hassle since it is very deep. Thankfully, I’m 6f2in and don’t have this issue but I can see it as an issue.

We wanted a big top loader to be able to handle washing doonas and bedding. The machine does this well as its BIG and powerful, but there are a couple of annoying factors in using this machine on daily basis.

Firstly I thought the machine was going to be like my old 8k Samsung, flexible washing with easy to use settings. This machine use requires a manual read, plus you cant just add a sock mid cycle as the lid locks shut and you have to shut it down and start again if your game enough.

The actual size of the machine didn’t fit in the laundry ( I know its not a Samsung fault, I should have measured) but the house in a new build with standard size doorways we had to remove the laundry door to fit the machine in.

Next problem, I defy anyone to be tall enough with long enough arms to get to the bottom of the tub to remove the socks & undies after the wash has been completed. I am using BBQ thongs and wearing high heels for the job as the machine was built for a giant.

Lastly I can’t turn off the super annoying jingle jangle sound alerts that ring though each cycle and go completely nuts with a full happy chinzy chorus at the end. gosh what I have bought into??? I loved my 8 kilo samsung and hate the big new 12 kilo monster that will probably swallow a family member and send us all deaf.

This range is affordable and does a solid job of cooking, but be aware that it the cooktops use “sensi-temp technology”. This means that when the stovetop decides that your pan is too hot, it shuts off.

What this has meant is that when I’m boiling water in my tea-kettle, it often shuts off before my kettle has begun to fully whistle. I’m pretty sure the water is boiling and “hot enough”, but it is frustrating to have the stove decide when to lower my temperatures.

I think this would be mitigated by a tea kettle with a flat bottom (mine is curved). I have had to get creative at times when wanting to boil water or simmer soup for prolonged periods of time. Again, I think the stove can meet my needs, it’s just that I’m used to using the stove in a different way and I’ve had to adapt to the fact that if I keep the range too hot, then I lose consistent heat.

I will continue to navigate this feature and I’m sure all will be well in the end, but I would prefer to have a stove that can adjust to the way I cook, rather than the other way around!.

My husband and I were looking for an electric drop in stove we looked online at the American Freight Tacoma store. They did not have an electric coil drop in stove. We looked online at the Tukwila American Freight store they had a drop in stove what we were looking for so we drove to the store immediately.

When we walked inside The store the employee Jeremy was helpful he gave us all the time we needed to answer All of our questions we had many and at some point while we were talking with Jeremy about the purchase of this particular stove.

I asked Jeremy a question at that same time the Manager whose name is Caesar came over to discuss something with Jeremy but Caesar quickly answered our question. My husband and I were impressed with such coordination and good customer service for such a short time we were there for the first time ever! The drop in stove was smaller than we wanted so we did not get it and because drop in stoves are not in demand and very expensive.

My husband and I made a decision that we would make a drastic change from a drop in stove to a simple free standing stove. Low and behold we noticed these beautiful black free standing stoves across from us.

My husband and I both fell in love with these stoves. Black was the exact color that we wanted in the first place. We wanted to buy one of these stoves however since we live outside of the mileage range for lower cost delivery.

My husband and I told Jeremy that we were going to drive down to the American Freight store in Tacoma, Wa. to see if they had this same stove so that we could cut the cost of delivery price. Yes, we left and drove in the heavy rains down to Tacoma Freight store only to discover that they only had one free standing stove white color, digital clock and other amenities that we were not interested in, we were told that they do not get the free standing stoves in that often.

To my husbands frustration and a little anger because he kept saying I should have asked the store in Tukwila to call down to Tacoma store to see if they had this stove we wanted. I calmed my husband down I wanted him to focus on the joys and blessings that we had to look forward to when we have a brand new stove and the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday meal I was going to prepare that we will enjoy only within a couple of weeks.

When we arrived at the store there was a female employee who we saw earlier when we first came there she did not wait on us at that time but she remembered us. I said to her we want to buy this particular black free standing stove, immediately she stepped into action to assist us in what we wanted.

She was not pushy whatsoever! Neither did she try to introduce us to something else that we were not interested in she showed respect and interest in what We desired to purchase and Not what She wanted to try and sell us.

We were really impressed with her for sure! I asked her name her reply was Cassandra. I said to her that is a pretty name she has a beautiful personality! We asked her questions and she answered graciously, and patiently.

She was very kind, caring, and understanding for my excitement to purchase our new stove for all the cooking I planned to do for Thanksgiving. She is such a sweetheart that anybody would love to do business with.

She asked us when did we want our stove delivered we told her as soon as possible. She set up our delivery for the upcoming Wednesday. We thanked her for all her professional help in answering our questions and by giving both myself and husband excellent customer service.

I want to say we give the highest review possible to the American Freight Store in Tukwila. For how we were treated as a Mixed Couple we were treated very good not bias or looked down on because of our mix races.

My husband and I have experienced much bias, racism and mistreatment during our almost 20 years of marriage by various store employees and managers who just did not like our race and they made it known by the way they mistreated us like trash under their feet.

But we did not get this kind of mistreatment at the American Freight store Tukwila not one single bit!. Delivery day came as promised. The deliveryman called as said and we got our beautiful stove. They were two deliverymen one name Keith and other Caesar very nice men they worked so good together they were able to maneuver through our doorway and stairs in a narrow space without knocking pictures from our walls or breaking anything.

We were so happy and amazed at how well they brought our stove inside up the stairs to our kitchen. My husband and I thanked both deliverymen we told them how pleased we are with their work performance.

I don’t think there is a good enough review we can give that could adequately describe how pleased we are for doing business with such a group of professional, respectful and caring people from the Manager, to the floor employees, to deliverymen.

If you are looking for a simple stove without all the fancy features and functions, then this may be a stove to consider buying. Bought this stove for my elderly mom and she loves the stove and all it’s simplicity.

No digital control panels, no up and down arrows/buttons, nothing fancy. just clean simple manual knobs to select your tasks. Since my mom has admitted to leaving a burner on high inadvertently, the sensi-temp feature is a nice feature to have to prevent scorching and burning of the pot/pan and it’s contents.

The only reason we are giving it a 4 star review is that when the oven is in use, the cooktop becomes VERY hot. There is no insulation directly below the cooktop between it and the oven. There may be some lining the top of the oven (not visible to the user) but not enough to keep the cooktop surface from becoming quite hot.

Watch our for those fingers and hands and don’t place anything not heat resistant on this surface while using the oven. Other than that, a well-made product (so far). And. mom is a happy cook and baker once again!.

There is no way to balance the temperatures between fridge/freezer properly because it has a single dial that only has 5 options, no halfway points, no damper control. To get the freezer at the recommended safe temperature of 0F, I had to set it to 5/5.

The temp still ranges up to 10F even without opening the door which reduces storage times. During defrost, the air temp gets up above 41F during the defrost which lasts about 30 minutes and no one can seem to tell me if it’s normal.

Food gets moisture crystals on the outside and packages get soft temporarily, but food seems to stay frozen at least (except ice cream and bread products get a bit soft). BUT the fridge freezes items because it’s at 32/33F.

If I turn the dial up to 4/5, then the fridge is fine but the freezer only gets to about 10F max and drops down to 20F randomly. also starts defrosting things (especially after the defrost cycle). So frustrating and worrisome.

Other issue is it’s EXTREMELY loud. Like a jet engine. Our kitchen is right beside our bedrooms so it wakes us up at night, and its a small apartment so you can’t really escape the noise. I would not have chosen this model, but I am a renter so can’t really do much about it.

Also for this same reason, I can’t fit a separate freezer in here either. Disappointed because I really like GE. When I used to be a homeowner, we had GE appliances and they worked great. This model doesn’t seem to be their usual standard.

The parts I do like is the appearance is good and looks very nice for the price, the meat/snack basket is a helpful feature, lots of room in the door. The gaskets are thick and squishy (not brittle, less likely to crack I think) and though the doors don’t really seem to vacuum seal, they do seem to keep cold air in properly.

The produce bins are okay – could be a bit roomier, but not the worst I’ve had. I also like how the shelves don’t touch the back wall so it’s easier to make sure there’s enough room for air circulation.

I just don’t understand why you can’t set the temps properly and why it’s so darn loud.

Since this refrigerator had the same features as my previous one, was willing to wait a month for it and it was worth it! Pros: * It did not take long after plugging to cool. So far entire fridge is cooling great! * Plenty of storage including on the door itself which I find a big roomer than my last fridge.

* Upgrade from last unit is clear deli drawer and bottom crispers (for fruits veggies). * Glass shelves easier to clean. One note: guide mentions do not use warm damp cloth when cleaning a cold fridge as the glass shelves can crack.

Follow directions and will be ok 🙂 * The freezer has adjustable shelves. Since the air vent is on the top, I kept the shelf on the lower slot to help keep the vents clear. Still have enough space for home needs.

* It makes the usual noises for the unit to work. On this unit, I find it much quieter than my previous one. * Beautiful texture on outside of refrigerator (purchased white). Cons: * Since I left it on while cleaning before use, by the time I was done, the lights in the fridge slightly dimmer than when received.

TIP: When cleaning the refrigerator prior to use, keep it unplugged. Even slightly dimmer, still adequate lighting; will continue using as is. No light bulb so light has to be professionally maintained by an authorized provider, especially to help keep the warranty valid.

* Proposition 65 Warning: [may cause cancer and reproductive harm. ] Would like to know specifically which part of the product may cause this harm. Would prefer an appliance without such materials on products which are getting much harder to find.

Also, more ease to find safer products. Overall, so far, a month after delivery of the fridge, the refrigerator is working great. I recommend this product.

Overall, GREAT microwave and I would buy again. I installed it myself. Quite a chore, and required a second person to lift it into place, but the template provided for drilling holes was GREAT. You just hold it up to the bottom of the cabinet, mark, and drill or saw.

Then fold down the tabs and use the “template” as the mounting bracket (behind the microwave). The written instructions were too skimpy (e. g, if you’re wondering, those tabs that you’re supposed to fold down before using the hanging template are there to mark the holes to drill on the bottom of the cabinet to hang the front of the microwave.

) , but I was able to figure it out. And I loved that the template had ALL the markings you need to install even if you’ve never had a microwave above your stove before. I do wish they had a simple beep instead of the annoying jingle (why does every appliance have to have its own theme song now?!) and I wish the jingle would stop when I open the door instead of reapeating it 4 times which is long enough to get an ear worm into my brain.

But that is my only complaint. I have TONS more counter space since replacing my old stove hood with this microwave and ditching the countertop model. And I like that most of the buttons are inside where they don’t show.

The “add 30 seconds” button is on the outside where it is still handy. Excellent design.

Initially returned this microwave for a few reasons: Cool kelvin lighting inconsistent with my kitchen lighting. Very noticeable to me. Absence of “quick” settings — no 1 minute, 2 minute, 3 minute settings for example.

I cook mac n cheese for grandkids all the time. Easiest method is to click on 30-second button 6 times. on. VERY complex controls. Magnetron makes a loud noise for a few seconds when initiating. I returned this model and ordered a Samsung which had halogen lighting instead of LED.

Halogen should have warmer kelvin rating, I thought. Found out the hard way that Samsung was worse than the Whirlpool. Dim light, not a pleasing warm tone at all. VERY loud magnetron sound at startup.

Interior of samsung is dark vs. the light / stainless color on interior of Whirlpool. Sides (left and right wides) of Samsung are black and tacky looking with visible screws vs. clean modern stainless on left and right sides of the Whirlpool.

Controls on Samsung are even worse than the Whirlpool. No quick settings, NOT EVEN A TIMER. Interior height of Samsung a little shorter than the Whirlpool — had trouble fitting one of my usual cooking containers in the Samsung.

I wound up returning the Samsung, and re purchased the Whirlpool. If I were redesigning a kitchen instead of replacing an over-the-range microwave, I would get standalone microwave and put it in a cabinet or some other inconspicuous place.

I miss my GE Spacemaker’s excellent controls and ability to multitask, i. e. both the timer function and the heat function can be used simultaneously.

Perfect addition to the rest of my new LG appliances. It works great so far, has a pleasing chime when cooking or timer is done, and has, because who can be bothered with manually opening a door in 2023, a button to auto open the door! The ‘pro’ to that button is that the chime is silenced as soon as you push it – not so with manually opening.

The front view appearance is quite sleek since the number pad buttons are only accessible after opening the door, which I’m getting more used to every day honestly. Since it is shorter in height, meaning the actual bottom of the unit sits several inches above other OTR units, it opens up a lot of visible/working space between bottom of it and top of stove.

Likely you to will want to add or extend existing backsplash to cover up holes in the wall from the previous unit (I’m doing a simple $50 piece of stainless from a big box diy store). Lastly, it is a bit more of a reach to insert or remove items due to its increased height – so additional care with hot liquids for sure.

If you nuke items in tall containers often, this isn’t for you, but reheating leftovers, frozen Veestro dinners, boiling water in a 2-cup measuring cup and the like + you’re not overly height challenged – it’s an awesome microwave.

I’ve been using this machine for about 6 weeks. Before I made this purchase, I went to the Internet to get information on user reports, reliability and also user instructions. Good that I did since user’s guide delivered with the machine is cryptic as are most such guides.

-I like to dry bedclothes outside, but the weather is not always amenable, so I sometimes have two changes stored in the laundry area. Not a problem for this machine which can handle more than two changes plus other items.

-I really like the glass top so I can see what’s happening inside despite the lid being locked. I need to see that because water restriction negatively impacts the cleaning operations and sometimes I try to find a way to slightly increase the water level to make it clean more thoroughly.

I’ve learned that deep washing is offered thru two control settings which appear to have the same effect but I’m still learning what the laundry types mean, like what does the “light soil” setting do for the user.

I also needed to extract water (per your instructions) from an item that I had handwashed ahead of the main wash and got the idea that a small item with some water in it could fool the weighing process into reporting somewhat more washing items than really present.

A small increase in water consumption results but the clothes in these loads seem cleaner. Yet I’m not using the full deep wash function so that the amounts of extra water and time may be small. – Also like the film-covered controls which should never be damaged or compromised by the water commonly spread around the laundry area.

– And like the cycle time readout from which I can set my smart phone timer to alert me to the need for a response by me to the machine. – Like the Spin Only setting to extract water from my handwashing which is usually small but cannot stand being wrung out by hand.

I also use this in combination with a slower spin out speed when washing a large, heavy load. I program a slow spin for the end of the wash cycle and then follow that with a short high speed Spin Only when the load has a reduced weight.

– And this machine does not startle with loud clangs as did my older machine. – With multiple washing modes available, combined with ‘modifier” opportunities, this washer is a remarkable machine likely to handle all but one of my washable bedclothes items.

I bought this machine on 4-22-2022. After reading reviews, I thought it was a good choice. What a total waste of my money. This machine barely moves the clothes around. The clothes do not get fully immersed in the water.

The water level is so low that you have to use deep wash setting every time if you want the water to cover your clothes. Even when you select the small load size or large size load, it barely puts any water in machine to cover the clothes.

Machine starts wash cycle and clothes on top are still dry from when put in. Machine keeps spinning to detect load balance and adds water into the machine which extends wash time. It takes minimum, 90 or more minutes to wash one load.

This machine has very poor agitation. Clothes do not get pulled under and around. Clothes stay in same position throughout wash cycle. Anyone with extremely dirty or greasy laundry will be disappointed because of the poor agitation.

Sometimes I have a small load but I still have to select the deep wash setting to ensure water fills up in machine to cover the clothes. It’s an over abundance of water for a small amount of clothes.

I wanted to like this machine but unfortunately it is a major failure and falls short in performance especially with water level. I cannot recommend this machine.

I bought this machine online without having gone to the store to see it, so I am at fault to some degree. I did not notice that you can not adjust water levels. But more so, the sensors that detect how much water to use for the “Normal” load are inaccurate -the clothes start agitating in very little water and are basically still dry! I understand that the machine starts out by sensoring, spinning and leveling the load, but when that part of the cycle is over, the wash cycle begins without enough water.

I’ve used different settings to get to the water level I want for the load I’m doing, and even when i think i have a “normal” load of relatively light weight clothing, I have found that I need to use “Heavy Duty” or “Deep Wash” cycles to get a load that covers the clothing in enough water.

At this rate, I would never need to use the “Normal” cycle. Who would have thought! The manual is of little help – it leaves a lot of questions unanswered. And most disappointing is that this machine was highly rated by Consumer Reports.

Am I missing something? The LG website doesn’t mention this issue. I have called customer service about this and no one seems to know how explain to me how to work around this, so it makes me feel that it is what it is.

I’ve owned washers for over 40 yrs and never had a machine that does not let me adjust the water. I’ll never get and LG again.

had HP, Canon & Epson before and frankly was looking at a Canon. Out of stock everywhere and since good reviews and I wanted it immediately, I thought I was settling on this printer. Not only has it exceeded my expectations in just about every way, it was the simplest device I ever hooked up into my Apple Mac home office environment.

In minutes of turning on, I was printing from my iPhone, iPad and desktop all wirelessly and no fuss. This is a workhorse. When only wireless connection, it does as other reviewers say take 30-seconds to spool and wake up, but it makes total sense.

In what real world situation in your home business is 30-seconds to start printing too long? Sheesh, come on people. Thats not a real complaint. So far the toner has been lasting well into my expectations and the quality is just fantastic.

I had been using an inkjet for so long I forget how professional color lasers look and consistent the colors are. No inkjet streaking, weird color shades, fading… Just professional looking output – every time.

The scanner was higher resolution here than on the Canon, so that was nice for archiving photos which I do occasionally. Otherwise the quick regular settings work great. Double sided printing is fast and clean.

No toner powder visible anywhere, no clumps of unbury toner. I really am so happy with this printer. I printed about 300 pages the first day as I was assembling a sheet music library of my. PDF’s and it just went about its business quietly.

No smell as some report come from LED lasers. Never felt it give off any radiant heat or anything like that and I sit right at a 90 degree angle from it. The hoppers are good sized and I have printed up to 80 lb.

Paper without issues including sheets of labels. I have not tried envelopes yet, but the feed is solid unlike my HP which was wimpy at best. I run a home business. However, I print about equally for personal and business usage.

I could not be happier and Brother printer/scanners from here on out for me. I do scan more than average I would say and have had no issues at all. Hint for Mac users, a lot of them don;‘T know you can scan directly to Preview App from the File -> Scan from (printer name) menu option.

Simple and makes making. PDF’s a breeze and from a single built-in app.

I do Loan refi work and I purchased this printer because it was recommended by the employees and the ratings were decent with 4. 5 star rating. This is poorly designed slow old software. It definetly lags I can only scan 15-17 docs on high compression PDF before it starts scanning super slow.

Most of the time it grabs more than 1 document and skips scans. The printer function does not print legal and letter even with 2 trays you have to tell your computer to print the letter first then tell it to print the legal.

So if I am printing a 200+ page PDG where pages 1-20 are letter and page 21 is legal and page 22-29 is letter and pages 30-68 are legal and so on I have to write down which pages are letter print page 1-20 then print page 21 in legal and then print 22-29.

It is not in my computer settings either I have it set to print page size. Lastly, I have replaced the drum because the alert told me to. The printer starts to print black lines on my pages when the black toner is running low.

It didnt start to do this until I needed the drum. Even after replacing the drum 2 toners later once the toner starts to run low but not empty and without the printer prompting me to change it drags marks on my pages.

I would not recommend this printer to anyone. For $600 plus another $200 for a second tray and $80 per toner it is not worth the headache when other printer do so much better. Now the employees are recommending the HP.

Just shows you can do research and ask employees and still get a crap device.

Needed something beefier for working at home and for school for the family. I was tried of inkjet printers getting gummed up and having expensive ink to replace often. I had a Brother B&W printer and decided to try this one.

It’s big and heavy, but does about everything you could want. If you get accessories, you have more options for your printing needs. The starter toners come with a decent amount of ink. Replacement can be expensive, but they last a long time and shouldn’t gum up.

The printer was easy to setup, and copying, scanning, and faxing all work with no issues. Seems like a workhorse so far. Touchscreen guides you through settings easily, or use your computer. Their are many connection issue for home and on the web.

I used Ethernet and was up and running fast. It comes with a setup CD, but it’s easier to just download the latest drivers and install. Double sided, envelopes, letter, legal, it’ll print them no problems.

The only drawback is the fact the default paper tray is only 250 pages. I got a 500 sheet add-on, but for something like this, 250 is on the low side. Overall a sturdy and well working color laser all in one.

They are still hard to find at retail price, grab one when it shows up.
