24 Best Jigsaw Blade For Mdf (2023 Updated)

I bought this saw thinking that I might use it here and there with nothing specific in mind, but since it was so inexpensive, I thought it couldn’t hurt to have it. As it turns out, this is my single most useful demolition tool; it’s almost totally replaced my noisy, imprecise recip saw.

I’ve cut through plastic, tile, and wood with ease. The saw never seems to falter, and best of all I can set the depth of the cut to the thickness of the material I’m cutting without worry about cutting into wires or plumbing.

I take this saw to every job now.

This review is actually for the Versa-Cut w/ Laser. The fact that this saw is so lightweight and allows you to make simple, precise and effortless “one handed cuts” is a Godsend!! No need to cart out a plethora of clamps or set up rip fences (on smaller applications) or ask someone else to hold the piece while you cut.

Great tool! Waiting on the cordless version for cutting in the field.

I’ve had my versa cut saw for over a year. I use it for everything. Most recently I used the saw for a bathroom remodel. Installed a 4′ x 5′ shower. I used the saw to cut all the framing and even the cement backer board for the shower.

I only got another blade in case the first one was done. Even after the backer board was cut and installed I was still able to use the original blade.

I went to Lowes to buy the Made in USA CMAJ1SET13 13 pc. T-Shank Jig Saw Blade Kit by our Yankee friends in Massachusetts but the package in clearly marked Made in China. So I bought blades from the competitor in the land of the Alps.

Bought these 09/11/2020 I was cutting hole in boat deck to install recessed trolling motor pedal went through four blades to get hole cut teeth wore off very fast poor quality

IšverstiShow in original languageI have been trying to find a blade that gives a clean cut on both sides for ages and this one delivers. I even use it if I only need a clean cut on the top as it doesn’t just around as much as a downcut blade.

I would not use these again.

IšverstiShow in original languageI buy and use these blades all the time for cutting 1/8 in aluminum. I have tried all the big-name brands from all the big-name stores these blades last two to three times longer than brand name blades.

Pay the same price as brand name blades get twice as many that last longer it’s a win-win. I actually think after I wear them out cutting aluminum they could almost still be used to cut wood.

IšverstiShow in original languageHow is this product sold in stores??? It is advertised as a universal jigsaw piece but it is not, the blade shoots out every time it touches any surface. I have been using different saws, including jigsaws, for years and every time a product says “universal” it usually means its crap.

You would think I’d learn by now but i guess not, wishful thinking. This is a garbage product, I do not recommend to anyone who wants to actually do work.

The standard shipping was free and the product arrived in 4 business days (and this was a week before Christmas). I would definitely recommend this product and factory direct supply.

IšverstiShow in original languageI used this blade on a Skil 3400 tablesaw to cut 3/16 aluminum sheet. It performs excellent in this application, very smooth cutting and very little burrs left on the material.

I was surprised at the size and shape of the chips, more like shavings than metal chips. I would recommend using a lubricant on the blade as there was some sticking of chips to the teeth. A great blade!.

IšverstiShow in original languageI am using these blades to help me cut the weird angles and edges I need to lay my composite decking and they are great! They cut through the composite like butter. But like all tools with composite they do get blunt very quickly so do expect to go through them fast.

So far I have used up 3 blades and estimate that each blade is good for about 2m worth of cutting before a change is needed. I am cutting through 25mm composite.

I bought the 5 pack of DJT1082BF. This blade is a complete failure. Your engineers couldn’t possibly have tested these. I was cutting rounded corners (~3″ radius) and straight sections up to 12″ long in.

22″ thick plexiglass. The product worked fine on the corner cuts although the red Perma-Shield coating is a joke in this application. It just makes a big mess until it is worn off after about 12″ of cuts.

The straight cuts were terrible. They are fine for melting the plexiglass which makes a giant mess and don’t cut straight at all even with a straightedge. I tried a wide variety of feed rates and blade speeds with no success.

I have used other types of Bosch blades (T101B) that worked fine for straight cuts and corners although they didn’t last more than about 5 feet.

Really the best cleaner available. New version does not clean as good. This is the one. Get them while they are available. Discontinued item..

It won’t cut ceramic tile it cuts the backer boards and hardie board just fine but when it comes to ceramic tile it just throws sparks and says NO

C’est très bien mais il faudrait une lame avec denture plus fine. Autrement, produit conforme à la description.

je ne m’inquiète pas c’est une très bonne marque , tout se que j’ai déjà acheté fonctionne très bien
