I’ve been fishing crappies for years. I like the 1/32 oz weight with a big hook like this. And the weight distribution is good. Lead head is not too big, so the hook setting is very easy.

I always get some of these each year, they are my go to jighead for most of the grubs and swimbaits I use, they have good drop action and just the right shine to get attention.

This is a pretty good mix of Crappie Magnets and accessories. Out of the Leland Lures kits, I would rate this pretty low, since it doesn’t come with a hard plastic case like the rest do. However, it has a great mix of everyday use products that folks would replace in their tackle box, so it is nice as a replacement kit and a good value compared to purchasing things individually.

perfect weight for jigging for panfish, especially crappie. Can cast far and it sinks fast to find the depth of the fish.

I received exactly what I had ordered. The material the hook is made of is a little thin and I don’t think it would hold up to battling a fish over a few pounds. The price is great, and I plan on ordering more.

Bought these to fish crappie bass sunfish and others. My son and I were out on lake Author catching some big crappie and a small mouth bass. I would recommend to a friend.

Wish this hook was a little shorter. Kinda long for a 16th oz jig. Wanted to use it for a 2 inch swim bait which it was too long and changed the swim action on my plastic

bought 3 packs two days ago hook eyelet on all but three hooks was open enough for my line to slip off by just swinging my pole. used pliers to close gap 9 hooks broke so for the price of three packs about $15.

00 i got less than 2 packs. live 40 miles from store cost more to return than they are worth.

I fish Northern Minnesota and without tipping these jigs with live bait, I was able to catch walleyes, bass, sauger and crappies. I use them in the summer around docks and winter for ice fishing in shallow lakes for crappies as well.

Been using These Kalimantan jig heads for years. They WERE the absolute best. However, when I received these i immediately noticed they looked different. Took them out in the field and they were different and cheap and nothing like the old ones.

Head is smaller and different color and falls off of the hook. My fishing buddy reached out to Kalin and was told that they moved manufacturing from Haiti to China. China version is awful!.

I wanted to buy these ahead of the rush season. Haven’t been out to try them yet. Ice on the lakes

really liked this jig head, always had the problem with hollow body tube jigs sliding around on jig head, no more. These keep tubes in place and more time fishing. Don’t really need the wire keeper for solid tubes or grubs but great on hollows.

Bought these for the 1st time this year in a few different colors. I use them as a dropper for deep water perch and they work great. But the problem is the plastic tube is too soft and they only last for a few fish.

Wish they were more durable.

These are my go-to jigs for panfish! Always get interest and have even caught crappie on a bare popeye jig hanging over side of boat. These are dependable and good quality.

I’ve used the Leland pop eye jigs for as long as I can remember and have always been sucessfull in catching crappie,bream, and trout.

I bought these to pair up with a paddle tail. I found them very effective for speckled trout. As always, match the hatch and switch the color jig heads and paddle tail until you find out what the want.

A productive jig with maggots or crawler piece for ice fishing at Canyon Ferry Reservoir in Montana. Smaller size seems to hook up better when they nibble..

Saltwater Assassin jig heads are best know for their ability to slide through thick grass beds on the backwaters and flats without fowling and loading up with grass. They have two nice features that pull off this stunt.

First, the full-forward eye placement stops grass from catching between the eye and the jig body. Second, the short-shank hook closes up the space between the line and the hook point, reducing the tendency to hook long blades of grass.

Unfortunately, the jig heads I bought here were not the short shank type (I thought they all were) and so they don’t resist fouling quite so well. Still a good product at a fair price, just not exactly what I thought I was buying.

It was my mistake.

Bass Assassin jigheads are the best. Wife uses these and I use the spring lock version. Hookup ratio for trout on the coast is noticeably double that of any other jigheads I’ve tried.

Just ordered these from Tackle Direct. I am not certain but Bass Assassin may have discontinued making this style jighead. The 1/8 ounce on a 3″ Berkley Gulp Shrimp or Swim Mullet is one of the best combos for targeting redfish, specks, and flounder here in Louisiana on Big Lake (Lake Calcasieu).

Been using this combo for past 3 years. works. Produces fish in the boat. Enough said.

Best crappie jig on the market. I have been using these jigs for several years and absolutely love them. I like the red hooks best because of the hook design, but the gold hooks work just fine. I prefer the 1/16th weight.

They are a little pricey, but worth the money. If you have never tried them, give em a shot and I think you will be hooked.

I fish for crappie four days a week and mostly in structure or underwater brush. This jig has been the best jig I have ever used to fish confidently in heavy structure. Less hang ups, less re-stringing of the jig and longer use of soft lures.

Overall this is a structure fisherman’s dream jig and weed less to boot ( the only one I could find anywhere). Buy this jig and catch your limit.

I bought the Mo’Glo Chartreuse in 1/32 size. I use these to catch small panfish or creek chubs for flattie fishing. I tip these with Gulp Pinched Crawlers, Gulp Waxies or a Crappie Tube with the skirt trimmed a bit.

With the Mo’Glo Chartreuse jig head, I’ll make sure whatever I tip it with is Chartreuse, Pink or another “Pop Out” color. Seems to draw all the hungry little fishies in. Even caught a few LMB with this setup.

I use PLine C21 in 4lb test for these and they cast very well with a 6ft rod. I basically cast and work these almost like a bass jig. I have yet to do dock jigging or having them suspended under a bobber.

***My Only Gripe With These*** Out of the package the factory paint seals over the eyelet of the hook. You need to open the eyelet up with a very small finishing nail or something similar. EVERY package in the store was like this, regardless of color.

Once the paint is cleaned off the eye you’re good to go. For $5+ a pack, you’d expect more. The BPS Two-Tone painted jigs are half the price and all the eyelets are CLEAN on them. I’ve noticed even on some high end bass jigs you run into the same issue.

Sure it’s a pain to clean them out but I was able to clean this 10 pack in less than 10 minutes. Otherwise I like these, they catch fish. 4 stars due to the paint issue.

I picked up a pack of 1/32 oz chartreuse to use with Bobby Garland baby shad and swim’r plastics for crappie. So far, so good. I really like the sickle hook, once they are on, they tend to stay on better than a standard J hook.

Pretty sharp from the package and stay that way for a while. The jig stays in place well, so I’m not constantly having to re position it on the head. The smaller head and “up turned” sickle hook just seem to out perform standard jig heads as far as natural presentation, solid hook ups and keeping them on the hook.

Now that I’ve tried them, I will certainly buy more.

After receiving this product, I found that 6 of the 10 Jigheads had 1 eye chipped off and the body of another had the pink paint chipped off. Disappointed that a product made in the USA had such poor quality control.

GOOD NEWS. A simple phone call to Customer Service resulted in them sending me a replacement package at no charge! Special thanks to Sandy & Sally for their kindness and courtesy in handling my problem.

We’ll, not really but here’s the short list of species caught in two days. Snook, Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Black Tip Shark, Bonnet Shark Sharp-nosed Shark. What’s remarkable was all the toothy fish we were able to bring to the boat.

(all released except the Mackerel). Great jig!.

These are the best jig heads. The baitkeeper holds soft baits intact and it has great sharp hooks. Different colors and a realistic large eye make it my go to jig head. 1/4 oz red jighead with a gulp shrimp will catch everything from inshore gamefish to reef fish.
