20 Best Jeggings For Big Thighs (2023 Updated)

I bought 2 pairs of these last year and immediately went back for 2 more. If they’re the same as last year, they are soft and warm and so comfy. They feel like you’re wearing pajamas, but they look like skinny jeans, but don’t bind anywhere.

They wash beautifully and wear beautifully. They kept me toasty warm in the winter, much better than regular jeans material. So I was a little hesitant to wear them in the summer. But they were just as comfortable in an air conditioned office.

I bought other brands’ jeans leggings, and they are nowhere near as comfortable as these. I’m disappointed to see that they only come in black this year. Last year they came in a wide assortment of black, medium and dark denim blue, and even red and tan.

I already have 3 pairs of black and, even though I’ve worn them a lot, they still look brand new. Hope some of the other colors come back. If you’re thinking of trying these, don’t hesitate. Sizing is good – I wear 14/16 in pants and got the XL.

A perfect fit.

These are absolutely the best jean/leggings you’ll own! They are so comfortable, I could sleep in them. If you don’t like these, you don’t belong wearing leggings. They do not show through and you cannot see all the details/cellulite in your legs! Perfect for wearing with a femine cut oversized top! True to size.

These jeggings are a nice thick material, and look flattering. However, they are a bit too tight for comfort in the legs for me. This is a fairly common problem for me when I’m shopping for leggings.

I’ll keep them and hope they stretch out a bit with wear. Surprisingly, they are plenty long (I’m 5 feet 9 inches).

I bought these in the color cinnamon. I was worried what they might look like as far as color and the acid wash. I love the color. It’s a warm nice shade of brown and the acid part is a lighter brown.

Looks very close to the picture on the site maybe a tiny bit lighter. When you think of “cinnamon” I picture more on the orange side. The color is perfect and I’ll be able wear with a lot of things I have in my closet.

I am 5’5″ I weigh 128 and bought a Medium. Inseam 29 fits perfect. Also, they are very soft. Later I may purchase “silver cloud” color.

I thought these were comfortable for the most part. But they did ride up a bit in the crotch. And while they fit my body perfectly otherwise, they really highlighted my small stomach pooch and made it really stand out and look worse than it actually is.

So I would almost think maybe size up but in actuality they fit me pretty well. so not sure there? I don’t have this issue with normal jeans highlighting that area. And I’m not one to buy thick or stiff jeans.

I like a thinner, softer, stretchy jean. Unfortunately these were a miss for me.

They’re called leggings but they’re more like thinner jeans. I absolutely love em! Perfect for late spring, summer and fall. You can often find them on Nordstrom rack for pretty decent prices and they are far better than most! They are really soft, I often wear them on airplanes! They also come in all sorts of lengths so shorties like me can get “tapered” length so that they hit ankle length.

While these black jeggings fit great they also stink!! The dye smell from these is terrible! It actually gave me a headache! Washing them does not help! I have other pairs of democracy jeans in regular finish denim and they are fine.

I suggest this Democracy company reevaluate the quality of the black material they are using for these jeggings. Like I said the fit was spot on but the smell. Oh my!! Come on Democracy you can and should do better! I had to return them.

Obsessed. Second pair of these. (I wore the first daily for a couple years; they did their fair share. ) Am 5’2”, waist fluctuates between 28” and 34”, depending on life. Comfortably wore a 4P when I was closer to 130-135 lbs.

At 145 lbs, I chose to go up to a 6P, because the button was digging into my tummy. The larger size is more gentle. Both are flattering on the rear and the legs and well-fitted. I have several different colors (white, black, light blue, dark blue).

Recommend all day!.

I just found Democracy 4 moths ago. WOW. My first pair caught the attention of my husband and he notices nothing. He made a nice comment about my backside. These hold in the stomach, the thighs and lift the butt all while looking top fashion.

They are my absolute favorite jeans and more women need to find out about these. Dillards please do not stop carrying Democracy! I just bought my fifth pair.

I’ve been a fan of Lyssè leggings for some time, and even have this very style in a darker wash. Was very excited when they went on sale. For one thing, these do run a little small. I’m not a size 14, and yet I needed the XL.

No big deal. The color is just right – not dark, not too faded. The waistband holds everything in, and hits at just the right spot. These can be worn with booties, mules, or sneakers, with a blazer or a sweater or a cardigan.

So what’s the problem? The smell. The really powerful smell. I rinsed them by hand, then got them all soapy and squeezed as much blue dye out as I could. Then I let them soak, with detergent, overnight.

Then I put them through the wash with a heavily scented detergent. And you know what? They still smell! It’s like this weird powerful mothball + chemical sort of thing. All that soaping and rinsing didn’t do much.

I just doused with some fabric odor eliminator spray, and I’ll see how they are in the morning. Obviously I can’t return them since they’ve had the tags removed and have been washed, so I’m hoping for the best.

I really want these to work…. but I can’t wear them out of the house if that smell lingers.

Honestly, I love the fit and feel of these jeans and despite a few things that I struggle with regarding the price point is they wear out and fade much faster than any other quality denim I have purchased.

Specifically, I’ve learned to never spot clean them if something drips on you because anything more than a vet gentle rub removes color leaving you with a noticeable fade mark and they tend to wear out in the seat after 4-6 months of wear to the point that they develop small holes in the seat area.

I do wear jeans almost every day though switch between pairs regularly to even out the wear. To be fair to Lysse, their customer service is outstanding and they have quickly replaced any pair that has failed to satisfy within the 6 month guarantee so kudos to them! Having said all that, I love them so much that I still find it worth it to have a great fitting pair of jeans even though they need replacing sooner than the average quality pair.

At 72, I want flattering jeans but I’m done with being uncomfortable. I have short legs so this inseam is full length for me and just right. I have very sensitive skin and this fabric was a little harsh for me.

I learned the wonderful trick of sanding the inside of my jeans with very light weight sand paper. I also put them in the drier on “air only” with wool dryer balls. I got them last week and practically live in them.

(There is a funny smell that I’ve experienced before in good quality jeans and I know it will eventually go away. ) Highly recommend.

I have purchased the black and the jean color both fit great. The black pair fits a little tight which I like the jean color fit perfect. I am wearing them now at work. These are perfect for going out they are magic.

I currently have the white and another pair of the jean color in my bag. Going to pull the trigger on that today and get them. I am over the moon that my friends recommended Venus. I am 55 and was stuck in “practical fashion items”.

Now I get compliments like “wow that looks good or even sexy”.

I bought these last year in a different color and found them to be one of the nicest leggings I own. However, at $60 a pair, they are a bit pricey. When I saw them on sale, I had to get a pair in another color.

They’re versatile enough to wear in any weather; light weight enough for summer, yet still great in winter. I love that they don’t need ironing or anything. They wash well and because they’re stretchy, any wrinkles just disappear once they’re on.

They have a look of very expensive pants and the material is soft and stretchy, not like some jeans that are so heavy and hard feeling they could probably stand up on their own! They just feel wonderful and have a slimming affect.

I love the fact that they are technically leggings – no zippers, buttons, etc. , but don’t look like some cheap leggings. Since there are no zippers, etc. I can wear them with any type of top, from a sweater to a fancier, thinner blouse.

They’re very figure flattering and the colors (I have the light grey and stone) are subtle enough to match most anything! I really love these and may buy more while they’re on sale.

Very good material, it feels like a stretchy linen. Feels good on the body and it fits like a pair of jeggings should fit real close to skin especially in the legs area. I have thinner legs and always have a hard time finding pants/jean that are tapered well in the lower leg.

I always think do I have the skinniest legs in the world or is it that everybody else has fat legs because I have a hard time finding a pair of pants/jeans that fit nice and snug in that area. The one bad thing I have to say about these pants is that like a previous review mentioned regarding the creases all over the pants.

It is actually little bulges as if there was extra fabric. I bought a size small which is my usual size but I returned and exchanged it for an XS to see if the creases would smooth out with a smaller size.

Other than that the pants are great! I plan on buying them in every color:).

I am one of those plus-sized women who hold the majority of my weight in my midsection. My stomach and my hips are almost the same measurement. It’s almost impossible to find pants that fit my waist, hips, and thighs perfectly.

When I tried these on at a store, I bought them because they looked dang good on me. I was so excited for the look that I didn’t take into account how uncomfortable they were just standing in the dressing room.

The fabric is high-quality, but it is super heavy and uncomfortable. I feel like I’m being compressed the entire time, and it is almost claustrophobic. I can wear them a couple hours before I’m changing into my ill-fitting but comfortable cheap jeans.

While the look is great, the feel is another story.

I rarely write reviews, but simply had to with these jeggings. I was thrilled with the styling as they actually look like regular jeans. I first tried them in my usual size 12, but they were much too tight in the waist.

When I then tried a 14, they seemed perfect at first. However, over the next 2 hours, they kept stretching and stretching — especially at the waist. I couldn’t keep them up!! Since I had already washed them, I couldn’t return them so I decided to take tucks in the waistband.

I put 2 tucks on either side in the back, about 1. 5″ deep (a total of 6″ off the waistband). And that still wasn’t enough! I’m going to try them in a 12 again and see if they stretch enough to be just right since I really, really like the styling.

The reviews gave me confidence to buy them in both available colors-so glad I did. They are nice quality. Great fit. Very comfortable. Not flimsy like stretch pants and not bulky like jeans. They are smoothing, which really helps my mummy tummy.

I have a big behind. It’s considered, “my personality. ” (Italian thing) I purchased a size 18. These pants slide on like a dream. They look sleek. No pockets for phones but that’s when it’s time to use a purse.

I can’t wait to wear them. Fitting in all the right spots, I have a great personality!.

First order at Carol Wright. last order at Carol Wright. This item is mis-sized and it costs as much to return it as to buy it. Pretty bad. Donated to Goodwill. The other item I ordered way before XMAS evidently had to be reordered and mid January – still not delivered.

Shipping costs are a rip; return costs are a rip. The item that came is way to small for a large ( usually a large on me is baggy).

I find these leggings to be comfortable and true to size. I have purchased 4 of the denim and two of the lighter blue. They fit great and are good for walking exercise. I like these better than regular denim! ( No zippers or snaps) Overall a great product and good value for the price!.

The product description says these are stretch denim, but it is really a denim-colored soft knit. If I didn’t have a use for them I would have returned them for deceptive advertising, but since they are comfortable and I can use them around the house I kept them.

I recommend the description be altered to properly reflect the item, so thers will not be disappointed.

Unfortunately the quality of these pants has declined. I purchased two pairs of these pants when they first came out and the quality of the fabric was high quality denim. , I loved them! I ordered two more pairs a year later and they changed the fabric which was not a true denim as the original, but thinner and had a lot of stretch in the fabric.

Reorder two more pairs this past week and so very disappointed. The fabric is super thin, fit was terrible, and extremely tight. I wear a size 10 and could hardly get them on. I matched the waist band to my other pants of this style and the waistband is 1′ different across.

Lands End I am so disappointed how your quality has gone down. I need a 34″ inseam and to have know that I could order from you was such a comfort. Now I will need to look elsewhere. Will not purchase such low quality.

I bought a pair of these leggings last year on clearance. I liked them so much I have bought two more. Unfortunately, the other two pair fit differently than the first pair I bought. The elastic waist is comfortable and the length is long enough for my long leg (tall is too long).

The legs, however, are not tight fitting as I would like. The fabric has a funny smell to it. I thought the smell would go away after a couple washings but it hasn’t.

I bought these as a cross between leggings and jeans while working from home during the pandemic. I never wear leggings except for teaching yoga and found myself in them longer and longer each day as the pandemic wears on.

My daughter typically wears a size 10 in kid’s clothes. The YL was HUGe on her. it fit me and I am an adult size 2. I had to take it in about 2 inches on both sides of the legs for her recital. My other daughter a size 7.

The studio ordered her a YM. It was HUGE as well. I would say if you are in between sizes or wondering what size, go down a size. This style runs large plus it is super stretchy and long waisted and long legged.

I wear these pants all the time. I wish I could wear them to work. They’re super comfy and i can move in them really easily. and i live in Texas so the slashes are great for the heat. These are my go-to pants for everything except work because they can be dressed up for going out and dressed down for going to a coffee shop.

I love these trousers. The fabric is soft and stretchy. The high rise waist makes them fit really well – not constant pulling up. They are a great length – in other stores I usually have to buy long but not at Uniqlo.

I bought a pair of these in Singapore about six weeks ago. They fit perfect. I am only 4 feet 11. I bought these in the Uk and they are about 9 inches too long. Do you make your clothes bigger for the British market?.

I am 5’5 and a size 14 in jeans i got these in a size large and they are so comfortable. I have issues with jeans because i have wide/high hips and these are perfect for that body shape, fitted in the legs with plenty of room in the waist and it doesn’t dig into you! If you a small waist these would probably run big.

I purchased two pairs of these a few months back. I wore them both about 2-3 times and the material stretched and ripped open to the left of the “zipper”. I bought another pair recently, forgetting that it was these jeans that did this and they are doing it as well after only wearing them once.

I have many other styles of Old Navy jeans and NONE of them have ever done this before. Yes, I have a tummy but like I said, I have many other ON jeans/jeggings and they’ve never done this. It’s very disappointing.

These jeggings have a weird fit. I usually wear a size 2 petite or sometimes 4 petite in jeggings. I’m 5’2, 114lbs. I ordered a size 2 and it was way too tight, couldn’t even get them over my hips. I returned and re-ordered for size 4 and they fit but even in a size 4 petite they are still too long at my feet.

They advertise as having an adjustable waste, which you can do that if you like bur I don’t want to have to fold the waistband over for mid-rise. The way they are they go up over my belly-button which I hate!! And they’re baggy in the legs!! Please make more of the mid-rise jeggings and don’t discontinue them!.

I want to love these jeans, but I can not get past the horrible horrible terrible smell. It is SO BAD. I have washed and washed and washed them. I wore them to work and couldn’t even stand it because of the smell.

I have tried rinsing them for hours and hours in the sink and so much black dye comes out no matter how much I rinse them. The smell has to be coming from the dye. Every time I rinse them, the water turns black because there is so much black dye in them that wasn’t rinsed out.

I tried rinsing in baking soda for 12 hours then tried vinegar for 12 hours. I do not recommend them due to this awful smell. I’ve had them for two months thinking it would eventually wash out but I’m about ready to throw the things away if I can’t get the smell out.

The only pro is that they are very very black but I don’t even care about that. I want this smell gone.

I have always had trouble finding a nice pair of Black jeans. These are perfect. The only thing is they run a size smaller. I have noticed that Black Jeans tend to run a size or two tighter with AE. I just got a 10 instead of my usual 8.

They fight exactly tight on. If you want loose fitting I suggest 2 sizes bigger. I do like the way they look when they are exactly right (tight without muffin top). For reference I have a pretty big bum/hip area compared to waist and usually prefer the “curvy” style.

However, the curvy Black jeans were way too tight and uncomfortable in every way and surprisingly these worked better! Super stretchy and soft!.

Im writing this in fear that American Eagle is trying to stop making these pants. I found these pants on tiktok and bought them not knowing that they were going to improve my life so much. I love the high waist allowing me to wear crop tops, I love the stretch so I can run around weddings and not be restricted.

I love the fabric that doesn’t get weird with age. I love the size of the pockets and how they dont fall down when Im wearing them. Imagine spending the last ten years hiking up your pants every ten minutes and then meeting these pants and for the first time since middle school you no longer worry about your butt hanging out the back.

You no longer have friends pointing and telling you they can see your underwear, because for some reason when people make pants they refuse to include room for the butt. You no longer fear getting dressed because it becomes such a staple.

I knew from ordering other Fashion Nova jeans to go down a couple sizes. When I got these, they looked way to small to fit, but they stretched just enough to get them over my knees and most of the way over the hips.

If you have trouble getting them the rest of the way up, just tug the fabric a little at a time from bottom to top, and you’ll have that extra little bit you need for them to make it all the way over your butt.

Once you get it over your butt and wiggle them as high as they go, they zip and button up perfectly. They’re thick and compressing enough that you can feel how tightly they’re holding you in throughout the day, but they’re never uncomfortable.

They keep your butt look thick and perky, and lift your cheeks up high but allow them to move freely. They will impress equally at work or on a date!.

I absolutely LOVE the color of these but there is ZERO stretch and they were small to supposedly have been a size 9. I do NOT think they are true to size, and you will need to go up a size or two! Be absolutely certain of your size because FN has HORRIBLE “customer service” and they do not get back to you respectfully and they WILL cheat you out of your money.

I learned they refuse to do any type of exchange although their site lied and says true to size, when it is not. I’ve ordered the fashion nova classic mid rise skinnies and lived them but these fit kinda funny. They were about 3 inches too long on my legs, bith baggy and tight in my legs, fit in the waist and butt but there was thus extra material hanging from the crotch area.

Tjey just felt reallt uncomfortable because thry were actually really hard to get on yet loose in areas on my legs and a little loose in my waist. If i had ordered a size down they would have bee. Too tight in the butt i think and waist.

Just git strange. Bunched at ankles. I ended up giving them away.

I wanted these denim jeans in brown the first time I saw them. My size was not available in the store, so I ordered the 00 regular. The website said they were 30 inches in length which is what I need.

When they came in, they were 28, so I took them back and reordered a 00T. They came in and were 29 inches, not the length listed on the website. So on the outside chance those were sized incorrectly, I ordered once again.

Same problem…too short. When I returned them, the store had gotten additional sizes, and they had 2 size 00 regular. The difference in length on these two identically sized pants was significant, and neither were the 30 inches they were supposed to be.

I love brown, and I have ordered a jacket and blouse to go with these pants, but they were not for me. If you need shorter lengths, these will work for you.

I love Chicos pull on jeggings. I have ordered and reordered many pairs since they became available. They are slimming and comfortable. The length is perfect for wearing boots or shoes. Love having new color selections to choose from.

This color is great for fall and winter. They have become an absolute staple in my wardrobe. Hoping Chicos will offer these jeggings in white again for spring and summer. Highly recommend them.

I bought these in the Evergreen. I wear a size 0 usually in Jeggings, and a 0. 5 in most Girlfriend Jeans. These ran long and tight. Couldn’t even get them over my hips. Tight waist band with some of these jeggings is becoming a real sizing issue for me.

Loved the color, but had to send back and won’t reorder. Recommend with reservations.

Nice jeans but they are loose fit and I prefer a tighter. I’m a size 8-10. I ordered a 10 in these and they fit ok, not sure an 8 would have been comfy but jeans do tend to give after a few wears so maybe the 8 would have been better and not as baggy.

Either way I don’t like the jeans enough to order the 8. They’re pretty average so my hunt for perfect mom jeans continue!!!! Light denim colour, gives the jeans a vintage look which I quite liked. Button fastening are not my favourite which these had.

Not the end of the world but some worth considering when buying these jeans.

This was my 3rd size attempt. I’m normally an 18 so had initially tried that plus a 20, but neither fit. After reading loads of reviews, I decided to size up again hoping they’d fit like an 18, but they were actually quite big.

Big to the point that the bunched a lot at the crotch and were very unflattering. The denim is fantastic, and so hard to find these days as all women’s jeans now seem to be jeggings, but the cut and sizing are just way off.

Way way way off. It’s honestly pretty ridiculous and super disappointing.

If these wouldn’t look good on me I would return them now. Pros: – very flattering, especially for hourglass or pear shaped people Cons: – sizing. Normally I size up for Divided items, I usually wear a 14 and it fits just fine.

After ordering a similar pair of black jeans in 14 which was too small I decided to order a 16 in these which fit like a 14 in the other colors. So for Divided items, size up once for colored jeans and twice for black ones.

I have the curvy fit jegging 10 petite in rinse wash and they are my favorite jeans to wear right now. The fabric is very comfortable and the color is holding through many washings. I am slimming down, so I decided to order an 8 regular, to wear with booties, and an 8 petite.

The 8 regular didn’t have any flaws but, because I am 5’3″ tall, the longer length made the fullness at the bottom of the leg (not very noticeable in the shorter length) too wide for booties. The 8 petite has a strange odor and has pockets that are made with fabric that is unusually pieced together.

I also find that the pockets on Talbot’s jeans are made so shallow now that they hardly hold anything. I wish that Talbot’s would have free shipping with no minimum, especially if some merchandise is going to be of inferior quality.

Thankfully, I can make returns to a store and not have to pay for return shipping.

I have many pairs of jeggings but these are now my favorite! I love the darker rinse. It is very slimming and flattering. The pockets are placed in just the right place to make your booty look smaller – very important as far as jeans go.

Also, the curvy fit is super; slips right over my hips with no tightness at all. I did have to size down from my usual Size 4 to a Size 2 but that’s because I have lost a bit of weight – always nice!! Jeggings really are the best – and for me that means a lot because I am super-picky about my jeans.

They have to make me look awesome and these do!!.

I’m small but carry my weight in my lower body. I don’t ever wear leggings or even super skinny jeans because I despise the sausage casing look. For some reason I tried these on and fell in love with them.

I can wear tucked in shirts and they are dressy and flattering. The fabric is thick enough to make them feel more like jeans than stretch pants. I love the rinse wash, dressy, almost black. I got a second pair and am temped to grab another.

I also love the talbots high waist straight jean but these are a dressier option for me.
