Instructions could be better as the pictures are low quality and hard to see what the instructions are referring to in the pictures. However, in the end I was able to install everything in about 4-5 hours (due to having to remove additional things in the engine compartment to get to the front mount nuts).

The kit came with everything I needed and really makes a big difference for such a small change. Front end is more even with the rear (although not completely). Additionally, I was able to get an alignment from a specialty shop without issue.

No issues with the performance or driving of the vehicle so far. Can’t wait to put on some slightly larger tires now!.

Shipping was fast, the quality seemed ok-good. The lift kit was leaving something to desire, and that is the strut bushing. The instructions say to press out the old bushing and press it in the spacer for the front.

Well, my struts are 11 years old and I’m not going to attempt to use an 11 year old bushing for a new strut and assembly. I bought new struts because of wear and tear and old age. I dont understand why Rough Country wouldn’t include the bushings in their kit? I called them to see about ordering bushings and they simply said they dont carry them, so I had to order a top strut assembly (the new struts i ordered had molded bushings and couldn’t be removed) and will have to use these bushings.

I cant believe they cant outsource the bushings and either offer it all together or as an add on so once the kit arrives, installation can take place and not find out the day of wanting to install and wait for the following weekend to install them.

A major flaw in my opinion. I was going to return them under their 60 day return policy and the shocks and struts and order a real suspension lift, but i already had the struts taken apart and Amazon would take them back with them showing any wear on them.

Jeep Liberty 2010 is lifted and looks great! It’s been on there 1 day and so far I haven’t really noticed anything huge in handling, it does feel a tiny bit softer but that’s to be expected. My issues were – -The instructions lack details and steps, they show things clearly taken apart in the photos that they never say to take apart.

They also get to steps and things that should have been taken apart are not in the photos. The tool list isn’t entirely correct. -I had difficulty compressing the springs far enough to put the new strut caps on.

This isn’t really Rough Country’s fault but I though I’d mention it. I could take the strut apart with your standard tool rental but couldn’t reassemble with the new parts. Took it to a shop, jerks charged me $70.

-This one was the biggest and still not that big. The hardware supplied to me was in a sealed bag and it wasn’t a complete set. I was missing two stud bolts, a washer, couple lock washers. Cmon dude, you had one job! Overall I’d do it again, I’d recommend it too.

But I’m giving three stars because that’s what this kit is worthy of with its screwy issues.

The lift kit is different from the products sold in other open markets. The answer is perfect. I am satisfied with American products and my customers are very good.

I installed this kit over a weekend and have been driving on it for a little over a whole week now. The install was fairly lengthy, some of which was due to me not having a garage and a lift, some of which was due to having 35,000 miles on the truck and some of which is due to never having done something like this before.

Definitely get the entire front end off the ground and both tires off before starting the front and then do the same for the rear before starting the rear. Another thing to pay very close attention to is to ensure that when your greasing the new upper control arm you do a little at a time.

I put too much in the drivers side as I was watching for it to expand as the instructions state to do but it never did so I blew some out of the back of the boot. Otherwise it’s pretty straight forward and can be done completely by yourself if you take your time and follow the instructions.

There were a couple of tools that I had to purchase before hand so make sure to read the instructions front to back so you know what you will need. That being said, this is a great product! Once complete the truck actually had over 5″ of lift but as I have drove it around for a week it’s now settled into almost 4 inches of lift.

Before install it was at 37 1\2″ and is now just under 41 1\2″ on the front tires. I am running 33X12. 50X20 Ridge Grapplers on -25mm offset wheels but I can’t tell a difference in ride quality between the factory lift and wheel/tire setup which I’m very happy about.

This lift gives the truck a great look but doesn’t overdo it and it’s super affordable without the need for any cutting depending on wheel/tire setup. I have seen a couple of negative reviews but am unable to come up with why.

Everything fit as it was supposed, nothing is rubbing or making any strange noises and the truck drives just as good as before! I absolutely recommend this lift kit! Great job to ReadyLift!.

I had the ReadyLift SST 4″ kit with Bilstein Rear Shocks installed by a super reputable shop here in Franklin, TN. I conducted a tremendous amount of research prior to doing selecting the ReadyLift product.

My greatest considerations were ensuring that the great ride quality in my 2017 Ram 1500 would not be diminished by installing this lift. I was also very concerned about ensuring that the finished product would not compromise my CV angles as so many lift kits do.

I’ve put approximately 5k miles on the truck since installing the lift with a new set of 34# Toyo Geolanders. The truck now has the perfect stance. Additionally and most critical to me, the ride quality is excellent.

The CV angles certainly have a new geometry, but they appear to be within the acceptable limits, and the professional shop who performed the install validated this with me as well. ReadyLift customer support was great.

I called them countless times prior to committing to this product to ensure that I was making a sound decision. They were very accessible and helpful. I’m only 5k miles in, but I don’t have a negative thing to say.

I highly recommend this product.

Very happy with the lift kit, perfect lift and level for those that don’t want to go big with the lift. First thing I noticed was the quality of the components, I am a CNC Machinist and Toolmaker so I appreciate and can recognize well made stuff.

I did quite a bit of research and Ready Lift was the name that kept coming up. The custom control arms are a big improvement over the stock ones, not to mention they correct the geometry problem with installing lifts and levels on Ram trucks.

Although I can turn wrenches, I opted for having this installed due to not having the spring compressor and it will need a alignment after as well. It’s a pretty involved job and you don’t want to mess anything up so I would recommend getting it done by a professional mechanic.

After it was installed the truck rides great and handles just as well as it did before. The Bilstein shocks were a nice addition and are a great replacement for the stock ones.

I put 2 1/2 inch front leveling kid on a 2021 Gladiator and the rear end was a little low. This easy inexpensive kit was the answer. A pretty easy install with no other modifications needed.

Not much to say about a leveling kit. The material looks strong and could last for a long time. Extreme Terrain never fails me on all around experience with their service.

I have had the lift kit installed for about three weeks now and I am happy with the overall performance. If you plan to install this kit yourself you will definatly need some knowledge of suspension components and a decent set of tools.

The installation instructions are useless. I had to take apart much more than they told me to. The vehicle rides a little stiff now, but that was expected with a spacer type kit. This is a good kit for what you pay for it.

2007 Jeep Liberty.

Very cheap and lifts it up pretty nicely. Rides just like factory in my opinion. This is the second kit I’ve bought. First was for my jeep and the second is for my wife’s jeep. We’re both pleased.

So much so that without finding an installation writeup I would have had a MUCH rougher go at it. An additional tip: The day before you are doing the install spray all threaded areas that require removal.

Before putting wrench to bolt clean the threaded areas with a die grinder and a scotchbrite pad. If you dont have air use a small wire brush and clean all of the road grime away.

There are a few places that there is the potential to damage the components. When trying to install the front shocks,p with the pucks installed, be sure to press out the anchoring boots on the lower bracket and reinstall once in.

Pretty certain I damaged my CV joint and hub when attempting to do it all together, but she won’t fit. Also when doing the rear end raise, be sure to scribe or paint mark the original position of bracket to axel.

Installing the new spacer and having your axel shifted will cause your rear end to walk out while driving. Install took a whole afternoon for me by myself, you’ll need a jack to help lower and raise components and jackstands to keep the truck on.

Watch your YouTube videos so you have a general idea of what lines to remove before diving in. Very pleased with this raise, it’s nothing too noticeable but definitely better than stock.

I installed this kit on my buddies 15 gmc z71, flawless install in 3 drinking hours (and first time ever putting a leveling kit on), looks great, rides great! So I got the same kit and installed on mine.

Mine is not a z71, only difference. Install went ok, took a little longer. I have stamped upper control arms he had forged, so i will pop for the uppers with corrected ball joint angle and get an alignment.

Otherwise really happy!!.

This kit does work but the quality of the ride does go down after installing this kit. I replaced the entire front end at 108K while I was installing this kit just so everything would be new and fresh.

I paired this kit with ROugh COuntry upper control arms for 2. 5-3. 5″ lifts, new moog heavy duty inner & outer tie rods, Rough Country tie rod sleeves to stiffen everything up, new moog heavy duty lower control arms which corrects the angles of the lower control arm ball joint angle(Highly recommend), & new heavy duty Kryptonite cv axles.

If you don’t upgrade anything when installing this kit you’re asking for a dangerous situation going down the road which could be a ball joint popping out of your control arm and crashing into a ditch.

Not cool. If you’re going to buy this do it the right way and upgrade EVERYTHING in the front end to make sure it’s safe and it’ll last you a lot longer than the stock components. For the rear end I just put in some Rough Country 0-4″ lift shocks which are great.

The diff drop is NEEDED for this. If you don’t add it you’ll be going through cv axles every oil change. Just do it right the first time and you’ll be happy with the setup. I’m running Moto Metal MO970 20×10’s -24 offset and Atturo Trail Blade XT tires and I only had to trim about an inch off the little plastic piece that screws on in the back of wheel liner.

Other than that these rims and tires were a perfect fit for the lift.

Hi all! I’m moderately mechanically inclined and installing the lift was a first for me. The instructions that came with the lift covered the essentials, but I supplemented the instructions with YT videos, and that made it easy with pointers and steps to watch out for.

For example, tight brake lines when you lower the axle. It took me about a half day to install as I took my time and learned a lot about the Jeep as I went. If I had to do it all over, I think I could finish this install in about 4 hours now, but first timers I think it would be safe to say that it will take you the better part of a day.

One thing to note is that some people get drive line vibrations post install. It seems really hit or miss the Jeeps that need additional modifications, and message boards seem to confirm this. My jeep suffered moderate to severe vibrations depending on the torque/power band, so I went the inexpensive route of ordering a transfer case drop kit.

There are other more expensive fixes, but this is just my daily driver around town and I wasn’t concerned about losing clearance with this solution. If you buy a transfer case kit, I highly recommend this one: https://www.

I installed these to replace the Mopar stock suspension on my 2000 TJ and give my Jeep a modest lift. This is my first lift kit. I opted for this kit because it seemed simple enough to install by myself without any additional modification or extra parts.

It also stated on the description that it’s comparable to the stock ride as far as comfort. I watched the installation videos from XT and other YouTube Jeep enthusiasts. I also went through the repair manual before starting this project.

I sprayed all the rusty bolts and nuts with liquid wrench the night before. I did this project in my garage with a jack and jack stands. The biggest challenge of removing the old parts was the top nut on the front shocks.

I tried using visegrips to hold the shaft but it just kept spinning. I ended up using a sawzall to cut them off. The biggest challenge installing the new parts are the track bars. They will not line up easily.

I used a ratcheting cargo strap to pull the frame to line up both front and rear track bars. The install took me a whole day. The product itself looks good. It provided a lot more clearance than the stock.

Now my TJ does not look low and “squatty”. I think my old springs were pretty worn down but it rode nice on the road. This set is definitely stiffer. The springs rebound quicker. This is really evident on going over my neighborhood speed bumps.

On the road, with the many construction areas, I can definitely feel each bump more. It’s not like I’m bumping around uncomfortable. It’s more like you hit a bump, you feel it more but it resets quickly.

I will only use this for light trails and maybe some mud (ok maybe a little bit more of mud). Not going to be a rock crawler or do any “hold my beer” challenges. Overall I am satisfied with this kit.

It’s a good kit to learn the basics of installing a lift without breaking the bank.

After years of lowering cars and trucks this was my first lift. It was pretty straight forward on the install; Pro Comps instructions weren’t the best nor was it stamping of part numbers. The brake line relocate brackets were stamped for the opposite side and there were numerous trips to YouTube and google to make sure all the right parts were in the kit.

To this day I’m not sure but the ride is fine after I changed to a drop pitman arm and dual shock steering damper.

The reviews I read were accurate. What they failed to mention was that while the back does rise 2 inches the front only goes up 1 inch. It does change the stance front to back. All in all though, it is a great product and I would highly recommend it.

2013 Silverado 1500 4X4.

Great price, quality parts. The instructions read simple, but actual installation took some prying and def takes two sets of hands. The instructions I received were actually just for a front level kit, and I purchased a 2″ front and rear lift so I didn’t have instructions on the rear portion.

I also could not find online the instructions for the kit I purchased, it always directs me to the front level kit instructions. 2013 chevy silverado 1500.

This lift was what I was looking for. I have a 16 sierra double cab. The front spacers are a good 2 inches. My factory rear blocks were 1 1/4 inch, the new blocks are 3 inch, so up 1 3/4 in rear. I still like a decent rake so it’s a good kit if you like that stance.

I have lifted several vehicles throughout the years. I have used the block/spacer Rough Country kits in the past, even a 6 inch lift with the spacer on a Silverado. This time I decided to get the struts because the 4runner has a lot of miles and the price was not bad.

I am a precise person when it come to lifts. I had studied and found that I could run a 285/70/17 with a -12 offset wheel with very minor rubbing/trimming. My two sons, bought Old Man Emu lifts (medium, 2.

5″) for their 2006 4runner and GX 470. I was excited to compare them. The struts compared side by side; the RC was quite longer than OME. The OME strut spring was thicker and more tightly coiled. This is the same for the rear coils.

Once our lifts were on and settled, mine sat lower and the tires rubbed like crazy! I called RC a couple of times and was told “that’s the correct part number”;no additional support. So, I bought a 1 inch spacer lift from another company and installed it on top of the RC lift.

What sucks is that I actually had to compress the strut to reinstall it with the spacer because the RC strut is so long by itself. We have had the lifts on for about three or four months now. The OME kit is about $700 more than the RC.

Bottom line: I lifted my 4runner twice, RC kit+Spacer kit to correct=twice!. Also, one reason I bought the RC is they push that they are a USA company that has been around a long time. My struts have ‘Made in China’ printed on them.

The OMEs are built in Australia. If I had it to do all over again, I would buy the OME kit. Lastly, the 4runner rides good but, I am comparing that to worn out factory suspension. With any lift, take before and after (settled) height measurements.

I bought the regular spacer lift ($260ish i believe) for my 97 4runner back in 2016, and was very pleased with it. Did the job and would definitely recommend. This time around, I purchased the lifted strut version with all new shocks and springs and no spacers (around $700) for my V8 2004.

I’m writing this review for people that cant decide between the two, and will say that the lifted strut version rides much much smoother and it is definitely noticeable. I cant speak to the long term effectiveness of the struts themselves because I just drove it for the first time yesterday, but I am very pleased with the performance.

I also think the lifted struts makes the 4runner truly level at 3inches with a very nice stance. With the spacer lift on my 97, it seemed like the front wasn’t quite as lifted as the back. I will give props to the spacer lift as it lasted all 5 years i had it without any mechanical problems before i sold it (after putting 50k miles on it), but if i had to do it over again, i would save up the extra money for the lifted struts.

Think it cost me 733 after shipping and tax and was here in 2 days. Drives so smooth.

RC no longer prints directions. You need to scan the QR code to get them. They didn’t specify what direction the rear springs go in. They have pictures but it should clearly be stated in the directions.

I also bought the rear shock bar pin eliminator kit. I thought it was going to make the install easier. Boy was I wrong about that. The directions for the kit were horrible. Trying to press the metal insert into the bushing took some time to figure out.

I’ve been a big RC fan for years now but after dealing with that I think I’ll go to an alternative suspension company from now on.

Had shop install lift which went well and without issue. Picked up and drove off the lot to only find that I had a tremendous vibration over fifty mph. Currently back at the shop for diagnosis. I picked this particular lift simply because it didn’t require or recommend the slip yoke eliminator nor the new driveshaft.

After searching for options and other complaints I determined this seems to be a common problem. I’ve ordered the transfer case drop kit hoping this will remedy the problem.

I bought this for a stock 2001 TJ and it did not fit as described on the Rough Country website. Not only did I have to purchase a track bar but also the kit to align the transfer case to manage the drive line vibration.

Not to mention the additional time for the mechanic to diagnosis and install both. When my mechanic voice his concern to Rough Country that they were not correct in the description, they simply said “it’s marketing”.

I was shocked! Won’t but their products in the future! Bad business!.

This kit is doing great, install was a little challenging considering this is my first time installing anything on my own. Other than that, it is fantastic. Price is good for all that you are getting.
