20 Best Jeans For Teenage Guys (2023 Updated)

I’ve had the worst time trying to find a pair of jeans that fit my son just right and are comfortable for him to get down and dirty in. FINALLY, I found these jeans! Thank you SO much for helping this poor, crazy mom!.

Bought this for great grandson. Glad I did. I ordered 2 more pair.

Fits just perfectly! Length and width. Looks nice. Fairly sturdy.

I some skinny slim straights, a pair of slim straight retro, a pair of slim bootcut retro and a pair of retro premium slim bootcut. This is where it gets fun. I ordered all the same size (36×34) and they were all different lengths.

The slim straights are 34 1/4″, the skinny slims were 36″ long, the premium bootcut were just shy of 33″ and these were 31 3/4″. they looked like Capri’s. The two shortest pair were made in Bangladesh, the longest pair was made in Egypt and the pair that was closest to true size was made in India.

Talk about a gamble! I returned the super long pair and this pair, and I can make due with the other two pair. Against my better judgement, I placed an order for replacements today and ordered different sizes based on what I got the first time around.

Hopefully they come from the same country so the sizing is consistent, otherwise I’ll be contacting them. Again.

Like a dummy as like I usuallly do, whenever I buy new jeans they go straight to the washer. I should have tried them on first. I love wrangler and have for many years. I have a couple pairs of the Layton color in 34×36 and love them.

So I thought I’d change it up and go with a different color, how can a pair of jeans vary so much just by switching the color. I bought 2 pairs of this color is 35×36 because my Layton’s were just slightly snug, Jesus you’d think I went with a 38×36 as they are not even comparable to my Layton’s.

And since I washed them already I guess I’ll donate them to Goodwill. This is what I get for trying something “New”. Not every color is the same size and material even though they are all supposed to be “Slim Fit BootCut”.

Absolutely love these jeans for my little guy. Thankful they have the adjustable waist as he needs the 4 in length but is super skinny. I ordered the 4 slim and had to take up the waist but the length was perfect.

Love that he can match daddy in his wrangler retro jeans.

I purchased these jeans for my 5-1/2 year old twin grandsons. I bought these for several reasons, but the two primary reasons are the pull on elastic waist and the reinforced knees. Finding reinforced knees is difficult so when I found those and the elastic waist, I realized I had a winner! My grandsons haven’t worn the jeans yet, so I can’t attest to the durability of the reinforced knees, but I purchased 14 pairs in three different colors because of the trust I have in Lands’ End products!.

Our grandson likes “soft” jeans, since so many jeans are rather stiff. These jeans look awesome, and they are soft. They are not thin, and they have reinforced knees, so they look like they will last a long time.

The waistband is the best, it’s so soft and body-conforming. I’m so glad we ordered the lighter blue, as they are regular jeans color. The darker ones would have been too dark for our taste. Our grandson takes a 14-16 on the top, and a 10-12 on the bottom.

These jeans are plenty long. They wash well and come out of the dryer perfect. We will be buying more of these.

I ordered these for back-to-school. Our son likes the colors and ease of getting on in both in the waist and ankles because those are wider. I may have ordered one size too big but kept because he is right on the line between two sizes.

If your kiddo likes to wear them below the belly button, these may be a bit long. My son does this and they bunch up a bit. If he pulled them up higher, they wouldn’t appear this way and look better.

They are a lot bigger than Old Navy or Gap brand I have found.

I lost some weight over the past couple years, and got tired of my jeans always slipping down. I suffer from the noassatall condition. LOL! These Extreme Motion jeans are stretchable. I like the stretch in the waist.

as I still have just a little bit of “gut” that I can’t seem to get rid of, but I have to buy pants that actually fit my hips or they won’t stay up with a tight belt. These EM jeans are quite comfortable.

Two minor problems. being stretchable, they will slide down a little at times, and also, I’m not a fan of the back pocket being made of the stretchable material. When I put my wallet in, it doesn’t seem nearly as secure as in a standard pair of jeans made of normal denim.

But, aside from that, I really like these jeans. I’ve bought several pair. They don’t cut into your waist like normal denim.

I would not buy again. Biggest issue for me is shallow pockets, especially front pockets but also rear. (Coin pocket is OK, just flimsy material. ) Second biggest issue is poor quality belt loops. There’s only 5 — should be at least 6 — and the loops are thin and narrow.

Pants run a little large in the waist. Too bad, because they’re stretch material. I wanted a jeans fit, not a baggy fit.

As a woman, it’s often difficult to find jeans to fit well but was wary about buying men’s jeans. However, with such an easy return procedure and low price, I took a chance and ordered them. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of shipping, the fit, and, of course, the price.

IU will definitely buy more.

These are some of the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. They are just as the name implies extremely stretchy and very soft. No matter if your sitting, squatting, working, or going out these I highly recommend these jeans.

I own 3 pairs and plan to buy more.

This is my 9th pair of pants I’ve bought from Volcom, everything util this point has been great. These pants have a lot of threads coming loose as well as spots where the dye is already coming out. The inside of the pants legs look like they have lines down them because the dye didn’t take next to the seams.

Disappointing because I love all my other pairs. Beyond the quality issues the comfort is great. The boxers I ordered around the same time are coming apart as well so maybe its a manufacturing issue that will be resolved, hopefully!.

Didn’t realize that until after they were bought for my fiancés birthday. What a let down. He loves vans and always buys their products and he wears and 32”x32” but they run small and do not fit him at all, unfortunately.

Bad customer service if they won’t even allow you to exchange the product. Doesn’t seem like they care much about their customers, but oh well. Will not be buying from vans anymore strictly because of that.

I love the quality and fit of Volcom jeans. I like the slimmer fitting jeans but have larger thighs and calves. The Vorta is awesome for a night out but tight. It’s saving grace is the stretch. But the Solver is an all-around good fit, great for lounging or any situation.

As with the Vorta, the stretch is awesome. Can’t wait for more color options!.

I love these jeans!!! Levi’s are and will forever be a favorite of mine and I just couldn’t wait to get my twin boys both a pair!!! These look great and are as always made great. They have the adjustable waist that I love.

the only thing I might say is they are a bit long to be 5 regular but I’m not sure if I can say I’m complaining on that because I did have to adjust the waist so that extra length just means that we will grow into them and get at least a few years of wear out of the jeans before outgrowing them.

Bought three pairs of these jeans for my 14 year old grandson. He’s not really into clothes, but made a point of telling me how much he likes them. That’s very high praise coming from him. The jeans look like they were custom made for him.

As usual, Dillard’s comes through with high quality merchandise. I seldom buy clothes anywhere else.

These jeans are well-made and sturdy. They fit me perfectly and are way more stylish than other jeans. I am really happy with my Buckle purchases and going forward this is going to be my go-to jeans source.

This is about the fourth pair of jeans I’ve bought from Buckle and I have no buyer’s remorse whatsoever. Even the sunglasses and shirts I ordered from Buckle are stylish and exactly what I hoped for.

Buckle customer service is also above and beyond expectations. I will be checking their website weekly to see new offerings. I’m ALL IN with Buckle products.

This was the second pair of jeans that I purchased online and im not sure I will ever do it again. I wear a size 42 jean and most of them are tight. I ordered a size 44 and they were HUGE. I sent them back and ordered a 42.

Those were also very large on me. So I ordered a total of 4 jeans from Buckle online store and all of them were different sizes and lengths. The return process for online purchases was frustrating. It took nearly a month to get my funds returned.

I could not afford to return another pair of jeans and wait for the funds to hit my account. Over all the purchasing/return process is a nightmare if you are expecting a timely turnaround. Also, the sizing is all over the place.

The color not even close to the color pictured, they are WAY darker. All in all, I’m really disappointed. I have four pair to return — they must’ve altered the cut because all four pair are the same.

The leg openings are about 1 to 1. 5 inches bigger than advertised, and they are straight not tapered. Also, they’re considerably baggier now(they are looser everywhere). I have five older pair already, and the news ones fit like a totally different cut.

The buckle always does this with the BKE jeans.

Love the rough & tough Cordura denim that greatly softens & fades, yet retains strength. Everything about these is great – the triple stitching, reflective cuff, labels, accents and 8 belt loops. The gusset is substantial & functional, operating within a stylish cut.

My 2nd pair in 2 years – looking forward to the future with them.

Overall i like the jeans. Fit is great, feel is great, and I expect them to be durable. My only issue is the two belt loops closest to the fly: they are so close together that it’s difficult to tighten by belt.

Move them away from the fly a bit and these jeans would be perfect for me. Thanks!.

I used to be a serious japanese raw denim snow, but I would blow through everything in the thighs from cycling etc. Then I became a dad and I welcomed the wonderful world of stretchiness into my life and have never looked back.

These are cut incredibly well ( have regular and slim, the regular fit quite slim as well they aren’t like a regular in normal denim, they are cycle friendly. The grey color is fantastic I have two of them and also the indigo and the black.

The grey seem to be more stretchy than the other colors but that could be me. They are just excellent products overall, I love the shorts as well and this company is great. I have all seasons of the cycling pants as well and they are still going after like 8 years.

Really like the color and gradation. The only hold-back is the fit. I have bought 4 pair of Mugsy Jeans so far: Hydes, Bucks, Beans, and Studio Blues. I love the fit of the Hydes and the Bucks. I just wish the fit was consistent across styles.

The Beans and the Studio Blues aren’t quite the same fit even though the same size (34/32). Those two seem to be a little looser in the waist and shorter in the length. The Bucks and Hydes do really well at fitting around the waist, hips, and butt.

The other two seem to not come back in at the waist and tend to sag and need a belt to fit better. The comfort of the material is great and I love the jeans themselves. I just find that I may have to return pairs now and then until I can find the right size for the color.

That’s a little frustrating and inconvenient but I’m hoping that will be an improvement in the future.

Pros: These are incredibly comfortable jeans. Given the marketing about the flexible material, I was afraid that these jeans would look more like sweatpants dyed to look like jeans, but they look great.

Based solely on looks, I cannot tell them apart from my expensive AG jeans, but they are way more comfortable. Cons: They smell like moth balls. I have washed them four times and they still reek with a smell that I can only describe as the moth balls your grandma used to have in her closet that held the winter clothes she hadn’t worn since 1976.

It could be the fact that I have to use unscented laundry detergent because of skin issues, but man on man why the heck won’t this smell go away? I also ordered a pair of chinos from Mugsy (which are absolutely awesome) and they do not have any smell at all.

I’ve even contacted them a few days ago asking if this is a common issue, but I have not heard anything back from them yet. On another note, I do wish the front pockets were a little larger. My cellphone tends to poke out a little bit when I put it in my pocket, so it would be great if they could widen the front pockets.

In Summary: Maybe this is only an issue for me because of the specific pair I received or because my horrible skin causes me to only use subpar, hippie-approved laundry detergent, but the pants are so dang comfy that I am willing to fight this battle and figure this out.

These pants are great. They fit well and likely would on many different body types. They are stretchy and hold their shape reasonably well. A very good buy for the price. Here are three observations you should be aware of.

1- Consistency of sizing: This is the fourth pair of Mugsy’s I have bought (2 Lake Shore, Squid Ink and Max’s) and it should be noted that all three fit slightly differently, so you should expect some variation in their fits as consistency is not completely consistent.

The Scouts are by far the baggiest and Im a big guy (6″3, 250), so it’s not like I’m usually swimming in new pants. 2- They smell. Not a little, but ALOT. Washing them does not help at all. Soaking in vinegar helps a little, but not a ton.

Basically, you need to wear them to get the smell out and its pretty intense. So much so that my son was standing next to me and smelled them. The smell wears out, but it takes some patience and you should be prepared for that.

Lake Shore’s are BY FAR the worst. 3- The stitching on the leg openings is a bit cheesy bc the stitching is on the hem is spread too far apart from each other and. Combined with a leg opening that is a bit too wide to begin with, it is not as slimming and style-forward a pant as it could be.

Perhaps the design team intends that to be the look, or perhaps that style works for some people, but in NYC, Chicago, LA and most major metropolitan areas. its comes off as a bit dated. I actually take mine to be recut and have the tailor re-stitch them.

It made the pants look much nicer and more modern and it feels like this is something the design team should look into doing. OK, that’s a long review. but I only took the time to write it because I really do like the product.

I’m sure I will buy another pair and with some minor changes it would be a 5 star product in my eyes.

I have NEVER purchased Aeropostale apparel until one I was walking in the mall and saw the BOGO sale on jeans. I was a bit skeptical but once I purchases these Skinny Medium Was Reflex jeans, I instantly became a lifelong customer.

I typically only buy Polo jeans because they last a long time and fit very well. These Skinny are very stylish, the material is soft and made with quality material making the wear comfortable. The best part about these jeans is the flexible waist which gives a relaxed jean fit with the skinny jean look! A must-buy for a great price!.

I really like the way these jeans fit my son. He is tall and really lean but also athletic. He’s 5’11 155 lbs and the 31/32 is great. The smell is bad though at first. Also the coloring/ pattern on the jeans is kind of odd.

I would have given them 5 stars if the smell wasn’t so bad. Other than that, we love them. We only buy Aero jeans and will continue to! Great prices will keep us coming back always!!.

As expected, perfectly fits, I was missing these kind of jeans. Reminding me of old Home Boy jeans. Color is perfect.

Overall really good materials and soft to the touch, feels like im not wearing anything. If you skate and use baggy pants, these are a no-brainer…

These are good quality jeans. My son just started wearing jeans for the 1st time since he was 5 yrs old (he’s 13 now ) and he likes to wear these. We ended up getting a size 12 & 14 since I ordered online and it wasn’t sure how they’d fit.

12 are perfect but keeping the size 14 for when he outgrows the 12 since they are very nice jeans.

These jeans are a good denim color. Many reviewers found them to be oversized and I actually found the opposite. In Frame boyfriend styles, I usually would size down to size 26 (I normally wear a 27 in skinny styles).

Since they are boyfriend style, I would still have a very slightly slouchy fit by sizing down, even with my hourglass hips. Not with these jeans. They are cut more fitted than I would have expected (especially given other people’s reviews) and with almost no extra slouchiness even after wearing multiple times.

This is in spite of the soft and stretchy denim. I had wanted this pair for months and they went on sale so I quickly purchased. But I am slightly disappointed on the overall fit of these jeans.

These stretchy jeans flatter the mind and body. Do believe the warnings about sizing down. I had to order three versions before I hit the right fit and it’s two to three sizes below my usual, depending on the brand.

My figure type is squishy middle with slender legs and these work for me: the waist fits well and my thighs aren’t swimming in fabric. Oddly, the third pair had a lot more distressing than the first two (which I ordered together).

I prefer zero to minor distressing but by the time I hit the right fit, there was no way I was sending them back. Final note, love the versatility of this style – they look great full-length or cuffed to show off cute shoes.

After reading the reviews I ordered these in both a 25 and 26. I’m 5’5” and 120lbs. The 25 fit as described, sitting on the hips and tapering at the ankle. The material was soft and I really like the color.

The 25 fit like a glove from my thighs down. The didn’t fit so well in the hips. The size 25 were tight and I felt like I constantly needed to adjust them at my hips and butt. I tried sizing up and the 26 was too big all over I felt like i needed a belt to keep them up and they were baggy after hitting my knee and were too long at the bottom.

It seemed like a drastic size difference between a 25 and 26. Sadly I’ll be returning both pairs.

Im shocked that there are still sizes left—they fit and feel incredible! These jeans have a lot of stretch but snap back in place. The weathered effect is nice and not overdone. It is true to size and fits and wears like a true skinny jean.

Love these jeans! Can’t go wrong with a pair of black skinny jeans. They go with everything else in my closet and are my new go to pair of denim. Still breaking these in though as they are on the stiffer side.

I love wearing these. They make me feel like a rockstar. The fit is just perfect for me. Most skinny jeans are too tight and other slim pairs just are skinny enough for my taste. These are perfect for my body shape.

These are very nice jeans. Super quality, good sretch, shape and comfortable. My only criticism is that they are quite long a#. I’m 6 foot tall and they would also fit someone much taller in the leg.

They only come in one leg length whisch is 32″ but really is more like 33. 5.
