20 Best Jeans For Tall Men (2023 Updated)

I typically wear cargo shorts. This appears to be half of the wardrobe of the 60-70 somethings. However, there are times when I’m working around the house or it’s too cold outside to wear shorts, or we may be going out for a casual dinner.

That’s why I purchased these jeans. While my middle fluctuates in girth, these jeans are able to keep up with the changes and still feel comfortable. They feel great while driving long distances and don’t tend to bunch up at the hip joints like some pants do.

So, overall they provide a comfortable fit and are priced well. I may just go get another pair soon.

I have purchased two of these men pants and they been great. I feel very comfortable as I started losing pretty much weight cuz of my bypass surgery that I had sometime in October I thank you very much for making such a great pair of jeans I really love both jeans that I purchased and yes I will buy more.

I love these jeans, they are the most comfortable jeans I’ve found. I really only wear jeans. I do own a couple pair of slacks, but for the majority of my activities, I always wear jeans. I do home remodeling for my trade and I wear theses jeans every day at work.

The only issue I’ve found is that tend to wear through the high contact areas, like knees, thighs, pocket lips. But I find the very comfortable and don’t uncomfortable, even after a 14hr day. Please do not stop making these!!!!!!.

I have worn the Levi 550 jeans for many years and the quality of the material was excellent. However, the last three pairs purchased in 2021 have all torn straight down along the side of the back pocket and cannot be repaired, Appears the material has changed to an inferior quality.

Other comments starting in 2020 stated the same thing. Company advises 90 day return. So, save your receipt and the tags from the jeans. Come on Levi step up the quality of the fabric and the manufacturer.

Wore these for years not anymore. I bought several pairs on sale a year ago and denim tore on 2 pairs within weeks, had to throw out. The material has been cheapened, thinner than it used to be. No tear strength.

So I switched to Wranger sold at Walmart for 1/2 the Levi sale price. I have had no failures after a year of daily use. So bought some more there.

We purchased these jeans having worn Levi’s for decades and the first time wearing them the outer seem came loose. Not sure if Levi’s standards have slipped as we had to purchase these because two other pairs got rips in them (those were stress related, but it seems odd that they are all falling apart) I’m going to mend them since my husband can’t go without pants if I go to the hassle of a return/exchange.

I shouldn’t have to mend brand new jeans that cost over $40!! This might convince him to branch away from Levi’s.

I am a long-time Wrangler wearer – 936DEN, 936PWD, and 936 in various colors – and have always been impressed with the quality, fit, durability, and price. However, since production moved from Mexico to Nicaragua I have noticed a drastic change in the fit of all 936 models.

As other reviewers have noted, they are no longer slim! The fit has changed significantly. I know it’s not me – I have lots of old pairs around and they fit the same way they did a year ago, two years ago, etc.

The new models are coming out different, with more (unwanted) ease in the legs. I don’t mind that they are made in a different place, but your quality assurance needs to improve to make sure the product is coming out the same as it did before, the same is it did for years and years.

Or, if the models have been updated on purpose, bring back the old fit, or introduce a 936 variant that goes back to the old, slimmer, definition of slim. If not, I’m afraid I’m going to have to start looking for a new brand of jeans to wear.

Ordered two pairs of these in February 2022 (Order # 1094482195). Both arrived late because of back order of certain sizes. One pair was fine, but the other pair had two small holes in it (Near right rear pocket, and one just bellow the zipper on the stitch line).

I have never purchased a pair of Wrangler jeans that were defective from day 1. Holes were not discovered until two months later, when the pair was entered into the rotation of jeans. First hole was able to be stitched (Zipper area near the stitch line), but the second bigger hole, even with stitching gets larger and larger upon successive wash.

I have had Wranglers fail before from normal wear and tear, but never from defects and generally they last a lot longer than 3 months. I will never purchase wrangler jeans online for this exact reason.

The stitching and construction do not match an old pair of wranglers of similar style. 1) Contrast double stitching on back crotch, but not on the front- it looks odd. 2) No contrast on fly stitching as on the old pair.

Weird flap sewn inside the zipper versus normal flat construction. ) No French seam to reinforce pockets- cheap shortcut with interlocking. 4) Entire inseam is served without contrast stitching. Doesn’t lie flat like old pair, but produces weird hump of 4 layers of denim sticking up.

Somebody cut corners on the design. Repaired one pair, because needed new jeans. Returning the others.

Pros: — fit perfectly, — very glad that these jeans, which have been around for a long time, are still available. They are my favorite of all men’s pants. Cons: — although these are the Rugged Wear jeans, the fabric seems thinner than the ones I’ve purchased in prior years.

Hopefully it’s just my imagination. Hopefully they will last as long. Time will tell. By the way, whatever happened to the triple-stitch jeans? — buying these online cost almost twice as much as when I bought them from Vanity Fair outlet in Centralia a few years ago.

I wish the Vanity Fair was still open or that the online price was lower. If so, I would buy more of these jeans.

I typically like Wrangler jeans and have may pair. I recently bought two pairs that were the same model number as another pair I have that fits perfectly, so I was hoping these would for the same, but I found the new ones to be a little bit longer on the inseam.

The big problem however is the terrible sewage smell that will not come out of the jeans. These were supposedly new, and it honestly smells line they were dunked in raw sewage. I’ve have washed them 6 times using various methods and cleaning solutions, and they still smell.

They also have made my other laundry smell as well. Although the smell has dissipated, it is still there. I’m not sure what happened, but this isn’t really acceptable in my opinion.

I like these jeans, overall; the wash, the fit, the depth of these front pockets. The cut looks a little bizarre when I look at them from arms’ length, but they seem to fit just fine. I merely find me being self-conscious ’bout it, a bit, when I wear them.

Wondering whether the cut looks off to everyone else, or not–but hey, that’s my problem; it’s not like anyone really cares about it, anyway! Good jeans! Easy to wash, and they stay looking clean for a long time, so long as they’re not treated in smudge, sludge, ooze, grime, grease, dirt, or crud.

I really like these jeans but I’m having difficulty getting a really good fit. If I purchase one size, they are so tight when I put them on, I feel I can barely walk. But purchase just one size up, just two inches up, and the jeans fall off after a couple hours of wear! I bought athletic thinking they would stay snug after a few hours of wear, but these get just as loose.

I guess if I’m going to wear jeans, I’m going to have to wash them in hot water and dry them on high between each wear or get the next size down and not breath for a few hours until they relax.

I purchased this product for an upcoming special occasion since they didn’t have my size in-store. The product delivered quickly and was just as I requested. Size 44×30, fit perfectly, good looks and well constructed.

Wore Lee jeans as far back as my childhood, decades ago. Prefer Lee and Wrangler over the other national brands at my stage in life. Levi’s are for the fashion conscious buyers who prefer the new trends in denim clothing vs the buyer who wants a good, sturdy jean that can be worn casually or for work.

Can recall iron-on patches for the knees of jeans to make them presentable and not look like a pauper. It was embarrassing to wear jeans, a. k. a. dungarees, with holes in the knees. Today the style is to cut the legs of the jeans, particularly at the knee, opening a wide gap all in the name of style.

Oh, how our culture has changed.

Can’t beat the price , nor the quality. Wash the black ones in a separate wash by itself, or you will have dark grey socks and underpants

I would give these pants a 5 star, but for the price vs the material. I love the fit and the stretch, but the legs have a bit of a ‘worn out’ look and the material is not the best, naturally fades color fast, and naturally wear out fast, therefore the price, i feel, is way too high for the jeans.

These could easily be my favorite jeans if they were valued as such. Name brands, like Levi, sure more expensive, but they last longer too. I just like the fit of these more. So, do I spend more for less, or the same for not as good a fit.

I bought these 501s thinking they would be made in Mexico but they were made in Egypt they don’t fit right and I would like to know if you could help me find 501s that are made in Mexico only

this is my first pair of 501’s, and man they fit perfect!!! these are thick heavy material compare to all my other jeans. im a big guy that usually wear urban jeans such as rocawear, coogi, ecko because they are the only one that get close to the look and comfort i like.

but thats over now nothing but levis for me. they look good with any shoe i wear!!! so to all the big guys who are size 46 and up give these a try u wont be disappointed. im 6’3″ 290 lbs and wear 48×34.

My husband won’t wear anything but 501s. They are getting harder and harder to find at retail outlets. I ordered online and got exactly what he wanted. They washed up and shrunk true to size. My husband looks great and is very happy.

I kept thinking these jeans looked too short on my son. I thought maybe he had just grown again, but his other jeans were long enough. When I was doing his laundry, I held these up to another pair of the same size.

These were MUCH shorter! So I got out the tape measure. Supposed to be 34″ inseam, but they are only 31″!!! I wish I had noticed when we first got them in the mail. Too late to return now.

I ordered these loose fit jeans one size bigger than what I normally wear. The loose fit ON jeans I bought last year still fit, and they are a size smaller. I was rather disappointed these jeans did not even remotely fit, and neither did the three pairs of pants I bought.

They didn’t fit over my seat, were digging into my side, and felt like cellophane wrapped around my thighs and calves. Like the pants, I’ll be returning them today. It’s a shame because the fabric is soft and lightweight and the wash is gorgeous.

The zipper teeth started falling off about 7 or 8 months into wearing them the pants aren’t too small by any means. But the zipper teeth just started randomly falling off, making it so the zipper doesn’t have anything to grab onto.

Support was unhelpful and could only muster a “we can give you a widely available discount code?” as a solution. No thanks. The denim itself is good quality and comfortable. Too bad I can’t wear them anywhere without my fly coming apart.

I measured a pair of my own jeans and compared against published online measurement guide. Waist , length are perfect. Hips , thighs are baggy compared to your guide! As I am in Australia it is really inconvenient to return and HOPE the replacement fits !.

Super comfortable, sized just right. My only reservation: The zipper is very short, which necessitates unsnapping AND unzipping, as them zipper teeth is sharp! An easy adjustment for an otherwise great pair of jeans.
