20 Best Jeans For Short Torso (2023 Updated)

I and my daughter both have worn Bandolino jeans for a long time and prefer them over any others we have tried so far as fit is concerned. We live in a rural area in N. C. without a plethora of shopping options.

When the local dept. store stopped carrying this brand, we started searching on line and found that this store (Boscov’s) carries a good variety of colors and cuts in our sizes, so they became our go-to source.

Great customer service, and we still get our favorite jeans that fit in my size 8 short and her regular size 12.

I am President of the Leggings Fan Club. Vice President of the Jeggings Fan Club. I am familiar with most of the notable brands, and I have my own favorites, as well as many I don’t care for. They’ve all had their place in my closet, even if short-lived.

Somehow, though, I have missed Bandolino, and only became familiar with the name when I got these jeggings. I love them. I love love LOVE them!! I need more of them! I use a wheelchair, so I am obviously always sitting, which means my pants are always being pulled up, leaving my ankles exposed.

I hate it, and I am always looking for pants with a longer inseam to make sure I’m covered from the belly button to just below my anklebone. Those would be my Magical Fantasy Pants, and they seem to be impossible to find.

And while these aren’t quite MFPs, they are certainly some of the best earthly pants I have found. When I first pulled them on, I thought they were too small. I could NOT get them to fit over my butt! Seriously, I pulled this way, I pulled that way.

and then, FINALLY, I managed to get them over my big ol’ butt and pulled them up! I’m so glad I kept trying, because once they were up, I could tell immediately they were a great fit! Here’s the awesome thing about how hard it was to get them over my butt: Once up around the waist, THEY STAY THERE! No tugging and pulling at them up constantly like literally every other single pair of leggings I have ever worn.

They hit me at my true waist and they stay there until I take them off! And the length is good. Not magical (I would LOVE if they were still another inch, or even two, longer), but really good. I have worn them three times now and they haven’t stretched out and gotten baggy at the knees or anywhere else, and they really look great! They take a very casual look and elevate it just a little, so it looks like you’re wearing slimfit jeans rather than “lazy girl leggings”! I should note that I have NOT washed these yet, so I am very curious to see how they will handle hand washing, and whether or not they will shrink.

I like that there are back pockets for my phone, etc. , even if I wish there were a front pocket. One small pocket would be amazing and give these leggings one more incredible feature, but they are still great without one.

I am giving them 5 stars. If they were two inches longer I would give them 5 stars AND my firstborn child. (Shh! Don’t tell her I said that!).

The Mandie jeans are one of my new favorite pairs of jeans! They are super comfortable, with just the right amount of stretch. They wash up well, and didn’t shrink. The fit is a nice relaxed fit, with a bit of a higher waist.

sits above belly button. They are quite a bit long on me, but I am used to this as I am pretty short at only 5’2”. Plenty of length for taller people. There were two parts of the jeans that could use some adjustments on.

the button, and the pockets. The button is quite difficult to get undone, but luckily these jeans were a bit loose on me, so I can pull them off and on without undoing them. The second thing is the front pockets.

They are half pockets. I’m really not sure why companies do this to women’s jeans, I’d like a full pocket! A phone will fit in it sideways, but will pop out as soon as you sit down. Neither problem would stop me from buying these jeans, but they are issues some would be bothered by.

Thought Lees were made in the USA! Not Egypt to my surprise! Also my girlfriends… say what???

These are very comfortable jeans. Just a touch of stretch. Fit is just right.

These are great for work. They are light weight so not to hot, and they stretch with me while bending. And still look very professional.

I was going to order my usual size but at the last minute I believed what Zulily said in the item description: these pants run large so order a smaller size. BIG LIE! I can barely pull them up! They’re too tight to move in, even with quality stretch fabric.

Ruby Road is SUPERB quality. I have loved what I’ve bought from them directly. But after this, and the 2 tops I can’t get refunded, I’m cancelling my Zulily account and will never consider them again.

I’m sorry that a quality company like Ruby Road ended up on Zulily.

I bought these to have a comfortable pair of pants for the office. When paired with a long blouse or sweater, they look like a regular pair of pants. With the pants being a buttonless/zipperless waist, I wouldn’t recommend for something you want to tuck in.

The material isn’t itchy, but they are not soft. I bought petite. I usually by “short” pants at the store and not petite- the cut is a little different. For me the petite is a little on the short side, but is you usually buy petite instead of short then these will probably be sized correctly.

I took a chance and ordered these pants. I love pull-on waist pants with stretch fabric but you never know how they’re going to fit in the waist or the seat unless you try them on. The moment I put them on, they fit and felt wonderful; the fabric has a nice weight to it.

Threw them in the washer & dryer, the fabric softened-up and they came out wrinkle-free. Wore them to work and they continued to fit well with no bagging. Wish there were more colors, but a good khaki/beige pair of pants are a work horse in my wardrobe – ready to go for work and weekends!.

I have ordered various colors of these jeans. The first time l bought indigo and black and they were perfect. I love them. The second time l bought a red color, green, and a sort of khaki color. They were a little baggy but l like them just about as well, almost.

The third time l got a purple color and medium wash. These were tight through the legs and the pockets are shorter. Each time l ordered 16P and they are all denim ease flat waist boot cut jeans. I can handle the leg tightness in the legs though l was disappointed the pockets were shorter.

I really like the longer pockets. Nevertheless l still like them better than any other jeans l have ever had.

I’ve always been a bluejean baby, so when I got older and gained weight, the stretch and waist band seemed ideal (in theory); however finding the right size in each different color is challenging. I have 3 pair I keep trying on to decide if I want to keep them or order different sizes! Each was made in a different country! So, if I order a size larger, would that work or would I still have the problem of too tight waist, too short or long, and these stretch quite a bit as I have ordered before and everything would be baggy but the waist.

A size smaller was too tight in waist. I am comfort oriented first and foremost but there seems no solution. Reviews of the wide leg version of this jean/pant doesn’t solve the waist problem (so I read).

I do have several pair of this style made of a knit fabric sold as “french terry knit” yet they look nice like a jean (almost) and are super comfortable. I’ve had the same sizing problem with them. Now it seems they are not available anymore.

Note that I ordered the same size M16 and some fit like M18 before they stretch!! I have measured them all and there is more material in the big ones. Please have better consistency in both the jean and knit! Frustrated!.

I bought a pair of these jeans in dusty plum on clearance to try them out, ordered my usual size, and they fit perfectly. I was very pleased as it’s difficult to find a good fitting, quality jean. I believe these will last for years! Saw very little shrinkage in the dryer on the low setting.

I can’t believe how many compliments I received wearing these jeans yesterday. I recommended Blair! Love the look, stretch comfort, and the price is worth it. I’ll be back for another color soon.

These are just what I wanted. They look great on and feel just as good. I could not ask for more. I am five foot nine. After washing, I may have them hemmed one inch. I like to have a choice of footwear.

At this present length they are just to the top of the heel of sneakers. They look the best with boots or a higher heel.

Love them but ordered twice and these are flares. I’m keeping them but would like to receive the actual cut Masseys is portraying on the pics as their “bootcut”. 🙃

They fit perfectly, the right lenght available in long. Have received nothing but compliments on these jeans. They are my new favorite!!!

I really liked these jeans – I bought two pairs. However I don’t feel comfortable in a midrise waist. I’m disappointed because these jeans are mid rise – says so right on the paper tag attached to the back pocket.

The QVC description says the rise of the jeans is “above the waist”. The hosts never addressed the rise in their presentation so I sent the jeans back and will be charged the return fee. I’m very annoyed with the misinformation – I try to be very careful when ordering a size because I realize every garment is designed differently – that said it doesn’t help when the description is just wrong.

I did like the jeans – liked the style and except for the rise issue they fit great – wish they came with a waist high rise. For those that like midrise jeans these jeans would be a great choice. But please QVC fix your description!.

I ordered the JAG girlfriend jean in the night breeze and thorne blue shades. I absolutely love them! I have never worn JAG jeans before and am sure they will become a new favorite. They are soft, the perfect weight and so flattering.

The waist band inside the jean makes it incredibly comfortable and forgiving. I waffle back and forth on sizes depending on the brand (anywhere from size 4 to size 8) and purchased these in the size 4 after watching the presenters who were very specific about sizing (thank you Courtney and Jane!).

After given the info, I decided on the size 4 which was a PERFECT fit. For reference, I am 5 feet 7, 130 pounds, 29 inch waist and 37 inch hips. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I totally recommend! TRY them!.

These jeans are nice and they fit great. Finally someone makes a Jean in 16W. I just needed a bit more room for my hips and the 18 is just too big for me. I always wear a 16 but not to many jeans from qvc size 16 fit me.

Way too tight. So when I saw this Jean I ordered the med wash and they fit so nice. I probably could have fit into size 16 but they were all gone. I ordered a 2nd pair in light wash but have not received them yet.

Please qvc Jean makers start making 16w. After all Jennifer Lopez brand makes 16W so get on the band wagon.

these are the best jeans especially for those hesitant to get out of slimmer pants. they are so comfortable and the fit and style is cute. i am 5’2” 100 pounds and i find these to run bigger than typical AE jeans.

my waist usually is 26 and where jeans hit (belly button) measures 26 yet the 00 on me are looser. usually 00 is size 23-24 waist. i never fit in 00 at AE. looser on my legs as well as expected but compared to how they fit others i thought it would be more fitted.

long story short, order smaller than you think. the inseam on short is 26 inches. i want in every color. black ripped run smaller and shorter!.

Stats: I am 37, 145lbs, and 5 7′. I wanted a pair of mom jeans, that hits longer than the ankle, full length ya know?! So I went with the 6long. Since these are high-wasted I thought they would be pretty snug for this mama of 3 who has some curves, but I feel like I could have went with a 4, for a tighter fit.

They are slightly loser, but a comfortable lose. Don’t fall down or nothing after wearing them all day. I went ahead and ordered another exact pair, that’s how much I love them. Debating on getting a 4, for a more fitted feel in the waste.

But get those jeans girl!.

Nice jeans. The material is not too thick and not too thin. Color is nice and it has a nice stretch to it so it’s comfortable. I usually wear 46 but according to the reviews I ordered one size smaller 44 and fits perfectly.

The only downside is that these jeans are not really pettite jeans. They are still too long for me 156cm height.

Great colour! But only positive I could come up with! They are that cheap stretchy denim. Especially around the calf’s and knees. As the day went on the waist became looser & looser, felt as if I had baggy jeans on by the end of the day.

They can’t be the jeans on the model pictured. So unflattering!.

These jeans are categorised as petite although they are so baggy from the knee down, when it comes to the ankle area they just look awful. I am 5′ 1, currently can’t find a pair of shoes to match other than sandals which is rather frustrating as I bought blue and black pair for autumn winter time.

Very happy with this purchase. The overall quality is great, and it lifts and smooths in all the right places. They run just slightly snug, but would definitely buy in more colors.

Loved these jeans. Great quality and true to size fit. ( I am a UK 8 for Petite clothing ). I had to return ad i felt the rip on knee was torn so i returned them. Would have considered buying another but they were sold out.

I bought one pair of these jeans a few months ago, and I liked the fit so I decided to buy a second one. The first one was difficult to button, as in it was very hard to fit the button inside the button hole, but it wasn’t impossible and over time I guess the fabric softened up and it became easier to button.

The second one is almost impossible to fasten. (I tried buttoning them before I put them on to see if it would be easier- nope, still almost impossible. ) I can’t wear them as they are, but I like everything else about these jeans so I haven’t decided what to do.

I suppose I could wash and dry them about 20 times and see if that helps. I’m considering taking them to a tailor to see if they could put on a different fastener, or make the buttonhole bigger without wrecking them.

I could exchange them but I am not sure a replacement would be better. It’s too bad that I can’t wear them as they are (unless I want to use a safety pin or a belt to close them) because the fit is nice.

The waist is high enough so you don’t have to worry about exposing yourself when you bend over and they’re really comfortable.

First, the ones I received do not appear to be black. They are very dark blue. Could be they were mis-tagged. Secondly the legs below the knee are very tight. Yes, I know, they are skinny jeans, but they should not fit like jeggings.

My legs are quite thin hip to ankle, but these pants are uncomfortably tight. Unfortunately I followed the directions to wash before wearing or I would have sent them back. Hip and waist fits great.

First, I’ll say that I have 2 other pairs of the Mid Rise Skinny. The black is different than the other washes. The fabric is smooth, has great stretch and keeps its shape. The black jeans can easily be dressed up and I have worn them for different occasions through the holidays.

I love them so much I am thinking of buying another pair. I washed them on the gentle cycle and hung to dry. They iron like a dream. Very happy!.

First of all, they’re big and sag by the end of the day. I could get over that. What I can’t get over is that I got them smelling like mildew. I’ve washed them several times, hoping to get rid of the smell, but it persists.

I contacted old navy to let them know that they smelled like mildew, and they were weird about passing on my feedback, so here I am writing a bad review. Old navy, I’m super disappointed that you would send out merchandise that smells like this.

It’s not a subtle smell either, like it made me sick when I opened the package, and it’s still strong enough that when I put them on, it’s all I can smell. I’m embarrassed for you guys. Where’s your quality control?.

I bought the Petite High-Rise Ultimate Sculpt Straight Crop Jeans last year and wear them constantly. I am under 5ft and the WHBM high-rise ankle jeans are long on me. Happily, the WHBM High-Rise Ultimate Sculpt Straight Crop Jeans fit me at my ankle! The black ones I bought are my go black jeans because they are just the right length for my petite legs and I can wear them with just about everything in my wardrobe.

PLEASE add them to your WHBM Petite Jeans Collection in White, Ecru, “Biscotti”, “Bronze”, Gray Brown, Gray from Light to Dark, Medium to Dark Taupe, Black Coated (like your High Rise Ankle Length) Lt Wash Denim for Summer & Dark Wash Denim for Winter, Animal Prints-Leopard, Zebra, Snake, and Metallic.

I’d buy all of the above mentioned and be very grateful. I’d be especially grateful if WHBM would add Petite Shoes down to size 4M Sandals & Boots to go with my Crop Jeans! (In black, white, biscotti, beige, ecru, gray, silver, gold, bronze etc-that match the crop jeans).

I must admit ordering these cute jeans was a shot in the dark for me. I have had no luck recently finding WHBM jeans that fit ): They were too high, too tight in the legs or too big in the waist but I kept trying.

This was the last time I would try and it turned out to be the perfect style for my tiny body. I ordered Petite 00 even though the fit finder recommended Petite 0 (they are always wrong in pant sizing for me).

The rise is perfectly at my waist and the legs are fitted but not tight with those horrible vertical lines across the backs of my thighs. I love the color and the heavier denim which adds structure to the jeans.

I also love that the destructed areas on the jeans are not showing skin. If that had been the case I would definetly have returned them even if they fit. At least now I know what jeans fit me best and I will only order the straight cut from now on.

Thanks WHBM for offering many styles of jeans as we all are shaped very different and even though I am as tiny as they come (83 pounds) I am still a pear shape and skinny jeans just look terrible on my body and they are so uncomfortable to me.

I bought the vintage. They fit true to size and do not have too much stretch. If you buy the vintage and are between sizes you should size up. However, I tried on the antique (the lighter color) and it has more stretch and seems to run a little bigger.

The Jean material is not too thin like the girlfriend jeans. I love these and are definitely my favorite. Will be purchasing the antique soon.
