20 Best Jarred Marinated Artichoke Hearts (2023 Updated)

I go thru these jars faster than I want to admit, I put these in salad, on pizza or just grab a fork and pig out. I can’t get enough of these! During the holidays my family will wrap them in bacon and bake.

Everybody burns their mouths because they can’t wait for this appetizer to hit the table! It’s become a tradition. (Definitely miss that since I went vegan!).

I always disliked buying these in the grocery store in those little jars like they were precious rarities. This is like a pool in the desert. I can have them when I want and I have them a lot.

I’m absolutely obsessed with artichokes and these Kirkland brand artichokes are absolutely amazing! They’re already marinated and you can eat them right out of the jar they’re that good. Super soft and the size of the jar and how many you get for your purchase is awesome.

I ordered marinated and quartered artichoke hearts from 7 different makers. The Delallo rated, in my estimation, a D+. The worst of all my samples. I found way too many tough leaves – some needing to be spit out.

The marinade was very vinegary and thin. These cost 22. 17 cents per ounce, about in the middle of the price range. i much preferred the Pastene at 28. 17 cents per ounce, followed by Roland at 28. 25 cents per ounce.

These are gross. The marinade is awful. I actually dumped into a colander to rinse then made a salad with olives, roasted red peppers, and my own dressing to mask the taste. Never again.

Finally! A more economical size. These taste great in my opinion. My family loves them and they are Italian!! Lol. To each their own 😉

I eat a lot of artichoke hearts. I’ve tried just about every major brand on the market. These Reese marinated artichoke hearts in oil are some of the best, I usually buy the larger jar but they’ve been out of stock lately.

What makes them so good and in my top 5 of favorites? They are mild and the leaves are soft. Sure you might get a couple fibrous leaves now and then but overall there are very few, unlike many brands which are loaded with them and hard to chew.

The quarter cut size is medium to small, an easy good bite. The mild spice is great, unless you like them spicy, there’s almost no hot spice at all, yet there’s plenty of flavor and refreshing zest. They are not overly salty or soaked in too many herbs that might leave a bad after taste in your mouth, a nice balanced flavor profile between vinegar, salt, oil and spices.

I keep them cold in the refrigerator, often eat a few quarters off the top to make room for adding a little olive oil into the jar. Shake well and you have an excellent brine to drink or use as a salad dressing.

I can usually eat a large jar of these a day, especially on a hot summer day. Great on their own and also in a salad loaded with just about anything from shrimp, to crab, or just mixed greens and olives.

Crisp and refreshing, some of the best taste and texture mild marinated artichoke hearts. So good.

I’ve bought this product in the past and been very happy with the taste and quality, as well as the very reasonable price. However, I bought two jars recently for curbside pickup. When I got home and unpacked them, one jar had leaked.

The vacuum seal had been broken, and I believe it would be unsafe to eat the contents. This is not a fault with the product. The jar should have been pulled and discarded, not sold.

bottoms have a hard shell like substance on the bottom that makes the product inedible. I would never recommend this product to anyone. I will be tossing out 3 cans that I purchased a while back in anticipation of adding them to a recipe but cannot use.

Since I waited over 60 days to open the can I cannot get a refund.

I love this products. It is perfect for salads. I drain them and even use the marinate liquid to make a quick and easy salad dressing!! They taste fresh and have just the right seasoning, not overly salty.

These are excellent! A lot of artichoke hearts for the price. They are very tender not like Cara Mia that are tough and pokey. I put them on pizza and serve on antipasto plate. YUM!!!

Delicious! I made a nice noodle bake with eggplant artichoke hearts and zucchini. I am so happy I found you on afterpay and will be ordering for family and myself from now on. I’m working on my list now.

I opened day order arrived. Added some to fresh green salad. But I enjoyed them so much I finished off the whole jar the same night! YUM! Glad in glass jar! I’ve read most all reviews to see how others use them.

When I see someone near my age, my 2 home states, or Christian-or drawn to-I look at their recommendations. I have found some GOOD items this way! Have LEARNED info. from many reviews! Thx 4 sharing! (Don’t eat Gluten; NOR even GF pasta/rice/etc.

Forest cans are BPA-FREE as nothing on the can says so! Could the PARVE symbol mean this?.

I never ate artichoke heart until 2years ago. It was surprising taste with the past dish. But I did not know how to prepare, but this jar of artichoke is great and easy product. Just add any dishes and wonderful taste.

I’ve bought these for decades specifically for a family fave, delicious rice salad recipe. They have THE best tasting marinade over all other brands, which is used to make the dressing. I’ve thrown other brands out because the marinade was terrible.

Now, for some reason, these are hard to find in Houston, TX!!.

This product is the best of new world and old world Artichoke hearts. There are none better. We keep a good supply of them for use in sandwiches and salads. Needless to say, we highly recommend them.

Bought these for my Dad because he loves artichoke hearts and while he did enjoy the flavor about half of the bigger jar were the tough leather outsides. Will not be buying again unfortunately.

Used to get this in much larger jars at Costco, but can’t get there lately. This is about same price per ounce — and I really like the convenience of smaller jars. Flavor is about the same as other brand.

Nice combo of olive oil and vinegar (tart but not too much) and bit of spice. I eat this right out of the jar. Also use for tortellini salad and other pasta dishes.

This is an amazing price for the amount of artichokes you get. I used to buy them for 1/5 of the amount at Whole Foods. Granted they’re not as fresh but it’s delicious and a great way to add fiber or use as a meat substitute.

It’s also marinated in oil.

Kirkland product is excellent. However, I ordered two and when they arrived, one was broken because they were very poorly packed. Angry because they were pretty expensive.

I LOVE these artichokes. I use them in many different recipes. I like that they are packed in water and I can use them without washing off oil and spices! I want to add my own spices/seasonings/oils.

The jar is large enough that I can make a family dish without opening many cans. ( I should not say this because the price will go up) but they are a TREMENDOUS bargain for the price!!! A small can from the grocery store is $4.

00 and UP this whole jar was $6. 99 and it had more in it than 4 cans from other stores. So if you love artichokes like we do and make all kinds of amazing things with them buy these they are delicious and a fantastic bargain for the price!.

I have bought these artichoke hearts for many years, and have liked them, giving them a 4 out of 5. This last jar, with an Oct 2023 Use By Date, I opened about 10 days ago and the hearts were fine. Left them in the fridge until today, and they had a sour smell to them and were very mushy and broke apart getting them out of the jar.

Took a small taste — yuk! So down the drain. In the past, I had kept the open jar in the fridge for several weeks with no issues. Today I read on the label that once opened, to consume the whole jar within a week.

Well if that’s the case, I won’t buy these at Sams any longer as I would probably gag trying to eat over 2 pounds of artichokes in a week or less!.

They are sealed well. These are perfect for salads or to just throw into a dish. Remember, you will have to drain them before you put them into a salad. That should be a gimmie. If you open them you should use them within a couple of weeks.

I put them in my pasta salad. They are very good.

We love these artichoke hearts. We use them every night in our salad, and we use them on pizza and even on eggs! They are delicious! Not too vinegary, seasoned beautifully. We use the liquid that the artichokes are marinated in to dress the salad as well, because it is a perfect blend of seasonings.

Another brand from our local store just didn’t have the flavor that the Wellesley Farms artichoke hearts have. When I am running low, we make sure to put it on our list ASAP. These are so versatile, salad, pizza, on eggs, in eggs.

I have always loved artichoke Hearts. We have them in salads or sometimes just plain. There great as an appetizer when having company. Wellsley Farm brand is our favorite. We usually have a jar or two on hand most of the time.

Fresh artichokes are complicated and a pain to deal with. So depending on what I am preparing this is one of the few canned veggies I will use. Great for dips or other dishes where mushy texture is needed and flavor is the key.

These are pretty tasty for a canned productS it’s perfect for when you don’t want to mess with cutting up an artichoke your self . Can be messy and painful
