20 Best Ja’Marr Chase Rookie Card (2023 Updated)

I opened both boxes and was happy with the number of cards I pulled that were numbered. Loved the mini cards, especially the diamond T. J. Hockenson #4/10, emerald (from dare to tear) Von Miller which isn’t numbered but is less than 25 available, and bronze Isaiah Simmons #5 of 100.

Next was the beautiful Jalen Hurts autograph on a penmanship bronze card #97/100, Tua Under the Lights Sapphire #31 of 35. These are just the tip of the iceberg. The overall quality of the cards were better than I expected as far as centering and print marks.

I’ve literally got so many gradable serial numbered and limited unnumbered cards that I’m having a hard time choosing which ones to submit first. I locked in at $200 per box long before the release. I thought that it turned out to be high priced but maybe paying more helped me get better boxes, or I just got lucky!.

I personally do not like these cards. They look dirty and I even tried wiping one because I thought it had a white powder/film on it. I only found average rookies and nothing special in my 3 boxes. I wouldn’t even try to build this master set.

I see no long term value for most of these cards with the exception for some of the inserts. But the box was priced accordingly which makes it a good a value.

I love the look of these regardless of market value. The acetate cards are fragile as heck, but are one of my favorite cards. The base cards arent bad either. Only negative thing to say is its difficult to determine parallels if theyre non-foil.

Overall though, great product for a reasonable price.

To me this is one of the neater looking cards as the cards are made to somewhat look like an old sporting event ticket, so I definitely do recommend. However in these packs youre not gonna find a big score just lots of neat looking base cards.

These cards are perfect for new collectors looking to add cards to their collection.

Almost all the cards were season ticket cards besides the rookie cards and the highlight of the box a gold and purple game night Anthony Davis, also a season ticket Lebron James. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered it November 23 and it said it would be here September 8 and it was here November 28.

Like all boxes, some are better than others. I’ve purchased two boxes and one was excellent while one was average. But at least this is one of the few affordable boxes out there

Its good all around product. Lots of different sets makes it interesting. Its def not for a person looking for personal collection hits. I would recommend going after PC cards right off the bat. The secondary market, price wise, is brutal on the novice to mid-level collector.

The Quailty control of Panini cards needs some improvement most every card is way off center or has print lines mainly on the back. It is very hard to find any gradeable cards out of the box or even purchasing single cards.

The cards themself and the look is great and it is why I still but some but have backed off on buy boxes since few are gradeable.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE FOOTBALL CARDS I RECEIVED. MY GRANDSON IS 2 YEARS OLD I WILL BE BUYING HIM A COLLECTION EVERY YEAR .

A good investment especially rookie cards.

I just opened 2 blaster boxes in a row. I know obviously nothing is guaranteed by any means, but one would like maybe 1 decent card in 2 boxes! 14 Turkey Red and not a single rookie. 4 1985 and, yes, no rookies.

1 rainbow foil in the 2 boxes and not only not a rookie, but not a good player at all. The obligatory number of mediocre inserts and just 1 prospect card ( and, you guessed it, not a good one). No photo variations, no serial numbered cards, and every blue card pretty much sucked.

I guess if you don’t buy a larger format box you’re out of luck. I feel I like I completely wasted $45 dollars on the heels of feeling the same way after opening a Bowman Platinum box that, to put it kindly, sucked.

Very Disapointing Product. The Value is Not there. you get maybe $4. to $6. worth of tradeable value if that. No Rare cards at all, No Photo Variations, All the same redundant and no name Inserts. Turkey Reds, nothing of value,,,once again Topps promises “value” and we lose and lose almost every time, save you money and buy groceries for your family, this is an endless hole that gets deeper and deeper.

No product all year long, now all of sudden there is so much 2020 Topps Update Product, its already almost worthless, overproduced as usual, poor value as usual, some miscut and damaged cards in box, and ITS NOT RETURNABLE SO YOU ARE STUCK !! DON’T BUY ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Put the Money in your Kids Bank Account, a much better idea and worthy of some merit.

These boxes are just fine. Agree with others who welcome back the ability to purchase cards at MSRP vs the markup of 100% from resellers. Just check Topps Chrome 2018 for example. For those crying about duplicates and missing chase cards, move along and head to a card show or eBay.

For the rest of us, keep in mind your luck will vary just as it would in a hobby box purchased elsewhere. These are just pictures of players printed on paper stock after all. I got exactly what I expected and more.

I donated my packs for handout to disadvantaged youth. At any cost. the gifts were welcomed and their reaction was priceless.

Excellent product for the price point. In an era of increasingly overpriced card sets, this was a pleasant surprise. With multiple rookies and a couple of fun parallels you are pretty sure to at least get a couple of keepers.

I got half a dozen in my pack. The teal parallel is gorgeous and the photography on the cards in top notch. The Cade Cunningham rookie looks like he is going to jump off the card. As an investment, given the large number of base rookies on the market, they’ll probably never be worth a ton, however they are a fun starter set and based on current pricing, if I sold my cards I would get double what I paid.

Not too bad. If you’re looking for a specific card or a long term investment I’d suggest buying singles that are graded, numbered or signed. If however, like me you just want to open a pack and have fun seeing what you get, this is the pack for you!.

Awesome box for people just starting card collecting, I’ve bought 2 from target and got some nice slam cards and a rookie luka jersey card. If you haven’t hit anything yet, keep trying! These are definitely worth a shot! (I’ve pulled better cards out of these blasters than the Donruss 21-22 blasters).

One of the better products on the market. The biggest down side is hoops never holds any true value. The Slam Holo’s are nice, but that’s about it (retail). The product is oversaturated with rookies, so there will be a ton of these cards on the market.

Obviously, there are more expensive packages that provide more bang for your pulls. However, this set provides multiple opportunities for great pulls

These highly desired cards with a Autograph or jersey card, are a steal! I found BJ’s to be the cheapest seller of this box of cards. I highly recommend getting some!!!

The actual cards were not terrible but they came to me damaged. Might not have been because of Walmart but the updated packaging from panini is not ideal. (It protects the planet though 😑) I won’t be buying any more of this version because of that.

Going away from cardboard packaging really hurt this specific product. The main card was not worth enough to bother going through panini to get a replacement. Rip my Jamar Chase hero’s card 😑.

This rates among the biggest rip off in the sports card industry, first of all if it’s all about the 2016 draft picks why do you is there 40 plus inserts of previous draft picks. Secondly, the majority of the autograph cards are of 3rd through 7th rounders.

many are unknown, and more than likely to only be able to boast they had their image on a Panini NFL Football card, other than that, they’re on a fast track to the Canadian league or Arena Football at best.

An over hyped and over priced product, that produces numerous duplicate cards even within the individual packs. shameful. Keep your money.

This is a perfect blaster box for the price, especially for young or new collectors. People who dont like this box are mostly impatient and somehow expected each one to be filled with Trevor Lawrence crushed ice cards and autographs.

Thats never been the reality in sports cards. Be patient and cross your fingers, but just enjoy the fun of the surprise. Even the base season ticket cards are really nice, especially for fans who value college over the NFL.

The cards are cool looking with the players in their college unis. However, Id recommend looking for other options. Not a lot of variety with the cards and lots of repeats. For example, I opened 1 box and got 3 of the same card out of the 42 cards in the box.

Really not what the box led me too brlieve. 90%+ of the cards are established players in their college uniforms. My expectations were of the 2021 draft class.

Sports cards have been around for a while, seems they have found the formula for depicting certain pull rates from their products to keep the market stable for chase cards. The variations in this set are absolutely stunning which is a sigh of relief for me as a basketball super fan first, with football in close 2nd.

Would highly recommend to any sports fan if you can find these boxes on the secondary market for between $35-$40. Great buy.

Absolutely the easiest and most affordable way to but many items, especially trading cards. I paid 50% less than market price including shipping! Great experience!! VERY happy I got a BJ’s membership!

I bought the cards for 2 of my grandchildren and they LOVE them! I watch them when my son and his wife work. If they are good boys for the day, I reward them (BRIBE) with a pack of cards. It seems to work, so i will buy more.

I bought this hanger box for right at $10 and it is well worth it for both avid collectors who dont have the complete set or beginners. The good thing about being associated with Panini are the high number of inserts and parallels but on the downside there aren’t many limited print cards either.

I received 4+ Rookies and around 7 special related cards. If you go buy items Sold on certain sites the value of the contents more than tripled it’s cost.

I love it. I got Dak Prescott David Njoku Russel Wilson Jared Goff and more. I also got a memorabilia card with a piece of Demaryius Thomas from the Denver Broncos pro bowl jersey. But it is on average so you still have a chance to not get a memorabilia or autograph but you will get some rookies.

The item was exactly as described, packaged well, and arrived in excellent condition. The individual packs were sealed and the cards were fine. No bent corners or tears anywhere. I will definitely purchase again!.

The average box has about $60 worth of cards in them but the autos are all over from /99 in my first box down to 249 in the second. The resale value is not worth it. They are way overpriced. You have to pull one of 6 players everyone wants on an auto to get higher than the resale value for the box.

It’s better than most panini boxes with variety but largely a trash product that is also inconsistent with what you get and can expect. No SSP but the potential for a low auto is all you really get here.

Holy moly, these are absolutely amazing, and these are one of the best value products I have ever purchased from target when it comes to sports cards. I’m so happy I purchased some. My biggest regret is not purchasing the maximum quantity.

I really hope somehow they end up restocking some more, but I really don’t think so, and unfortunately since this was so freaking popular this year and amazing, I think next year it will be even harder to get but also I think the price will be jacked up, so that is a little unfortunate.

This is only my second time buying a Hobby Box. After spending 200$ on individual Auto cards on EBay this week, I figured I’d give a box a whirl. I was 100% impressed. First Pack I pulled a 22/50 purple Refractor Alvin Kamara Auto.

Last pack I pulled a 1/5 Malik Hooker Green Refractor Auto. With another 3 Autos in the Packs in between. With that being said. with only my second time buying a box, I was highly impressed and will in fact be a repeat customer.

SteelCity also threw in 2 extra single packs in the shipping box, which was highly appreciated, along with a scratch off coupon that in won 5$ off of my next purchase. Very satisfied with the way they do business.

This is a fun break. Five signatures in a box, which just can’t be beat. Cards look great and have a great variety of talented names available. Highly recommended.

Have had a lot of luck with these boxes, out of 3 I pulled 2 jersey cards, A Colin Sexton and LaMelo Ball. It’s a fun set with some great inserts at a fair price. Very happy with the rips I’ve had with this set.

I didn’t actually receive my package sadly. So I can’t review the product for this order but I’ve got them previously and hit 2500 panini points so there was that. Slam inserts are nice and even hit the anniversary editions a couple times.

The pro is that you can only get the rookie sweater mem from this box. The con is no matter what box. When searching for quaility donruss cards. There is way to much base. For example a box has 88 cards.

Usually the most you are going to sleeve up is maybe 6.
