20 Best Jack For Lifted Truck (2023 Updated)

Bought this jack to replace an older AC Delco one I had been using sparingly. This Blackhawk jack oozes quality, and the lift height is perfect for my 99 Sebring which rides really low on the ground, giving me 0 clearance for maintenance.

Being able to lift my car high enough to get under comfortably has been a Godsend, and I don’t have any worries about the jack giving out halfway through a life. As always PLEASE USE JACK STANDS after raising your vehicle.

I haven’t had any issues with the jack giving out during lifting, but it is not meant to hold a weight continuously. Lift your vehicle as high as you safely can, and then jack stand it for your own well being.

Your livelihood is worth an extra minute of work!.

looks nice a sturdy, works and gets the job done, however after 3 months of very light use, it started leaking from the hydraulic pump seal, unable to fix it myself, need to return it. this should last many many years, not 3 months.

Seems to be just fine. I lifted a RAV4 with it, no problem. Haven’t actually tried it yet on a vehicle weighing 3.5 tons.

When you buy on line can’t see what it is really like. Wheels don’t have much spread for stability and lifting saddle is barely larger than a dollar coin, well a little bigger but not much. Lift handle nice feature but does not meet my overall expectations.

Good jack,but has small lifting cup on top! Can slide off vehicle! I lift up a 46 ford 3,000 lbs to max lifting height and the jack did the job!

Replaced my 50 year old hi-lift with this. Lifting mechanism is very good, but the stamped base has far too much play. The old base was cast fit tighter making it much more stable. If you buy this, make sure what you are lifting is secure (wheel chocks, straps, etc) or make sure the top of the jack is leaning against what you are lifting, because the jack will easily tip and that is very dangerous.

I get off road a lot. I’m not the kind of overlander that is constantly challenging myself and my vehicle to the worst conditions, but I have, over the years, found myself in mud and snow where a hi-lift would have come in very handy.

(I obviously got out, eventually, as I wouldn’t be typing this had I not). Sportsman’s Warehouse had exactly the jack I needed at a very good price. I’ve yet to use it, but that day is coming. Cheers.

This hi-lift has been sitting in my shed until I have a chance to go out on the trail. Yesterday some friends stopped by and where asking questions about basic tools needed for trail riding and I went to show them the Hi-lift.

when I pulled it away from the wall a dime sized piece of paint fell off the jack. I have read reviews about the paint issues with these (not good). its been stored and never used or exposed to the outdoors so I was very disappointed to see just how quickly the paint is going to come off.

As long as it performs like it should I will be happy enough. I guess I will find out soon enough as we have a trip planned next weekend.

I bought the BIG RED T84025B Hydraulic Floor Jack as a gift and I was told that it worked out perfect. It was easy to maneuver and lifting was very easy.

The jack I brought home only rolled on three wheels. The fourth wheel was up in the air. I returned it.

This was shipped to Nampa, Idaho. As it came, three staples were connected on only one side. The cardboard at the bottom was worn through at two edges and some red paint worn off of the bottom corner.

The black handle had no padding between the handle and the red jack, so it scrapped some red and black paint off. I am pleased with the construction of the jack and would order again. The above is minor but it would not take much to address the issues for you as a company.

Yes, after the first use the jack will be scratched. IT IS how it comes “pristine” out of the box that grabs attention. Hope this helps, Again, very pleased with product :).

I am really pleased with this 42” all-cast Jack from Hi-Lift. Made in USA in a family owned company, this is a very useful tool. Used correctly it can lift, winch and clamp. It also conveniently came in a red color very complementary to my granite crystal pearl JK with red accents.

I bought it with the Teraflex HD hinge reinforcement and their Alpha accessory tool to mount the tailgate hinge. The 42” size is perfect with this tailgate mount as the top of the jack does not extend past the JK soft top (I repositioned the Clevis).

I recommend a neoprene cover to protect the gearing as well as a jack handle isolator (mine cost $7). Definitely read the instructions and lubricate gearing before use. If it’s your first jack I recommend watching a video on YouTube demonstrating safe use as proper precautions must be followed.

Overall outstanding piece of hardware!.

The jack works well enough–about as well as my smaller bumper jack by another company. I was very disappointed with how wobbly the base was and by the fact that the base and handle are held in with cotter pins instead of bolts.

I replaced both of those as soon as I saw that. I also replaced the Grade 5 bolt in the “adjustable top clamp clevis” with a thicker Grade 8 bolt. I do like the multiple tapered holes in the base plate that will allow it to be mounted.

Overall, I think either I overpaid or Hi-Lift under delivered. I probably won’t buy another one from Hi-Lift.

This did the job that I bought it for and many to come. I only have one complaint, the handle needs to have more protection when being shipped. Mine came with an inch of paint chipped off one side of the top of the handle.

Of course I know it will function perfectly fine and had planned on adding 4 or 5 inches of plastikote anyway. All and all I’m very happy with the purchase.

This simple lift gate mod, is really nice to have. The install was fairly easy. The tool they give you isn’t the best. I had to use my own star bits to remove the latch. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the product.

We have one of these we have had for at least 30 years, Well my son needed one. And low and behold I found this on line at Rural King ! And they delivered free and on time for Christmas !!! Its built tough and he is very pleased with it ! Thank you for carrying such a great product !.

I always kinda wanted a bottle jack. They’re compact, but I can’t remember ever using one in any of my cars (except maybe an old pickup). I got this Hyper Tough bottle jack, but I was disappointed to find it didn’t really work with our cars nor our minivan.

Today’s cars all come with scissor jacks. You’re only supposed to jack them up at specific points on the chassis (just behind the front wheels or just in front of the back wheels). The jack points have a tab that isn’t really stable on the bottle jack’s tiny head, but scissor jacks have a cutout for this tab.

You could get under the car and use the bottle jack on the frame, but I don’t recommend it–in part because you won’t really have room to use the tiny handle. BUUUT, this bottle jack proved itself a lifesaver in a matter of days.

My deck is about 17 years old. One of the joists had backed out and began sagging, causing quite a dip in the floor. I tried prying it up to refasten it, but my deck is massive and it was just too heavy.

I built a scaffold out of 2x4s, then used this 2-ton bottle jack to raise the joist and. BAM! My deck is structurally perfect again. Bottom line: if you need an emergency jack to keep in your car, minivan, or SUV, then I recommend a scissor jack with OEM specifications.

But if you’re looking for a general purpose jack for a pickup, your home garage, or to use for home repairs, then I recommend this Hyper Tough 2-ton bottle jack.

Sometimes you just need a little Jack, this jack is rated at 1 to 2 tons and is nice and compact. The action is smooth much better than other small jacks I’ve used over the years. Sometimes you just need a small jack on smaller cars are for other projects what do you need a little extra lifting effort and would be good for lawn tractors.

The piston is 6 inches long fully extend it and you get another inch and a half by unscrewing the extension on the top which has a nice knurled finish for support. The base seems a little small for the length of the wall extend the base is 3 inches square with good solid steel.

The handle could be improved seems a bit sloppy and poorly made. When releasing the pressure for the jack to come down it’s a nice smooth motion and the valve to turn moves freely and smoothly in both directions.

Overall very nice little Jack.

A star was required, otherwise nothing for this joke. The item arrived in a torn box. At first view the item was used. The handle was worn and the plastic grip torn. The rear wheels were missing. This item is advertised as a’Hydraulic SUV Trolley Jack, 3 Ton Capacity’ and it does look substantial in pictures , but in reality it is a miniature rendition of floor jack.

Its the size of a toy and useless. Almost $90 for this junk is insult to injury. Stay away, and shame on Walmart to sell this junk.

Perfect for me. I was looking for a heavy duty jack to get my bike in the air (800+lb cruiser) and even cleared my car for an oil change. It has a safety bar that keeps the jack from coming down on you.

I was considering the HF lifts, but this one checked more boxes for me and looks well made.

I am a female that owns a Kawasaki Ninja zx6r. I do all the work on my own truck and bike. This motorcycle jack works great for assisting me in being able to work on my bike without any assistance. There is nothing worse than wanting to start working on a project and having to stop to get someone bigger and stronger to help you.

This jack allows me to lift the bike up, and access everything I need to get access to. I can also easily maneuver the motorcycle down, which is just as important. This jack has allowed me to accomplish a bunch more projects and customization work that I never would have been to do without being able to maneuver around the motorcycle fully.

The manufacturing of the jack itself is really stable, and strong feeling. It feels like it is really well made and sturdy. I like that I can feel confident working on my motorcycle while it holds it up, I don’t feel like I have to worry about it releasing and my bike falling.

I bought this jack a few weeks ago as we were working with other standard jacks and jack stands to lift a 750 pound Quad to repair the transmission. the way we were tring to lift the quad was very unsteady and I felt unsafe.

I purchased this jack and it was like night and day and it made the lifting and working on the quad much safer and was very steady. We did use a strap as suggested that made it even better. If you work on your own equipment as we do this is a must have.

I have used other ATV/garden Tractor jacks and this one is much better and well made. Glad I found it!.

I bought this jack to replace an aluminum one that was leaking down. Needless to say this jack is much heavier but it is sturdy. I kine how it has such a low profile and still lift to 24 inches. It was super easy to put together and the instructions for setup before first use was real easy to follow.

For the money I feel it is a great value. So far the only down side it that it doesn’t have a saddle pad and it’s heavy.

The jack is marketed as a rapid rise jack and is not truly a rapid rise jack through the lift range. The description is that it will go from the starting position to full lift in about 7 full range pumps.

This is only true with no weight on the jack. With no weight on the jack, each full pump gives you just over 3 inches of lift. Once the jack reaches the load, each full pump only gets you about 3/4 inch of lift.

There is nothing in product description or in the owners manual about this. Thought something was wrong with the jack or it had trapped air and needed to be bleed. Finally saw a “bullet point” description on the box and it said “rapid rise to load” or something like that.

It is very heavy as others have said (just under 100 lbs. ) but doesn’t matter to me as I don’t pick it up. The quality is OK as the welds on the frame are pretty sloppy but look like they will hold fine.

Lifts both my lowered GTO and 4×4 due to good lift range and low starting point. Just lifts the vehicle very slowly but I can live with that as it is only for personnel use. Just make sure if you want a true rapid lift jack do not purchase this one.

Purchased becasue it was US made and was willing to pay more to get a US made jack. The frame and wheels are excellent quality. That’s where the good news ends. Most jacks at half the price have dual pump pistons.

This unit only has one and it shows. No rapid raising of the jack. Each handle pump moves the lift plate about a quarter inch. It takes forever just to get the jack high enough to touch whatever it is you’re lifting.

To make things worse, the piston only works in the first 25% or so of the handle stroke. In other words, you’re pumping the handle in very short 3″ – 4″ strokes (see video). The handle roller doesn’t even touch the piston until that low.

You about have to lay on the ground to use the jack. There’s also no such thing as slowly lowering a raised load. Pretty much on or off so whatever you lifted is coming down fast. Called the company and they said all of this was “normal” for this jack.

So also contacted a local service center and they said the same thing. Sad to say that you should spend your money elsewhere if performance is what you want. The summary is that the jack is well built and would likely last forever, but the performance is so bad we never use it.

These jacks were built like tanks back in the day and lasted for years. I spent $400 to buy a quality jack like this instead of $130 at Harbor Freight. Although I basically use this for simple maintenance on my personal vehicle, the rear casters have failed me twice.

You can get the casters online for $40 each at the right website. I’ll probably just save my money and consider buying another jack instead of dumping more money into this jack replacing it with another “junk” caster.

Jack works well enough, but has very poor paint finish. At this price one would expect a high quality durable painted finish. The jack handles were loose in the box and had beat up the jack in shipping causing damage to the painted finish.

The 3 piece handle has no paint finish at all. I would have expected better from this higher priced Jet bottle jack.

A lot of the reason I bought this particular jack was because it has a handle, not the case this jack has no handle is’s not as pictured. Also very slow shipping.

Very good quality Jack! I’m impressed with the light weight but industrial level craftsmanship. Two piece handle comes in handy in tight garages. Rubber head disk prevents damage to the lifting points on the car.

One lift on each side of the car with a nice stable feel. Update: March 2019. The jack fails to lift because the high pressure piston is stuck down. It’s been a great Jack and I got a ton of use out of it in 2.

5 years of tracking my GT350. I’m buying a new one, and will fix this one as a backup.

This is a well-built jack that will perform many different tasks. I purchased it to pull stumps out. It is worth the money, but using it for just a car is like using a sledgehammer to drive a finishing nail.

It weighs 45 lbs and can lift a truck without a problem.

The jacks appear to be decent, however I am zero for four at getting them here without damage and missing parts. First shipment of two was returned. with no helpfrom FedEx, who failed to show for two schediled pickups.

I kept the last two, but do not have jack handles and both sustained shipping damage. One box was torn up and soaked with hydraulic fluid, the other box was apparently destroyed and the damaged jack repackaged by FedEx.

Got a 10% discount for the damage, but still won’t recommend purchasing until they change shipping companies. Tried to post photos, but this site wouldn’t accept them.

it does whay it should do. at least the one i got did what it was supposed to do, however mine started to leak from the air pump. it was also very slow and took a lot of air for it to move. i wouldn’t buy this again.

this jack is made to a high standard we use the product every day and the fitting staff stays the work perfect with no problems we are looking at replacing old bottle jacks with this item very impressed would recommend.

I was very disappointed that the lift was used. Package was fine. It was delivered and was probably not check when some one returned it. It had rust on the lift spindle and paint chipped off the pump bar.

I used it twice. The first time it worked fine. The second use, the lift would not go up despite the bleed screw tightened all the way. I will return it and buy one somewhere else.

I lloved this jack until i need to fix a part on it and can’t find it. I am looking for the metal bracket piece that connects under the piston where the handle goes. mine has broken and wanted to get a new one.

this piece allows the hydraulic ram to move as you pump the handle.

Needed to work on a jeep WK rear suspension and was tired of putting blocks under my old jack. I would have liked the post that comes with it to be longer by 2 inches. Easy to make a new one and it’s vehicle specific not something everyone will have an issue with.

Don’t often get flats anymore but just had one in my Honda civic. Had a scissor jack in the trunk and within minutes it was up and the tire was on it’s way off. I removed the tire and the car rolled just enough to fall off the jack.

Now I’m really stuck. Got some help and got home and right away ordered this jack. Notice the sides of the of the highways, no longer do you have a flat service to set your jack on. So save your self a tow call and spend the money on this low profile jack.

Low this low profile for my extra low car! Goes under smoothly with my car lowered and it also has a lip no problem for this jack! Best one yet!

The floor jack is exactly as described. It seems to work very well. I would recommend it for light vehicle use or lawn mower or atv use.

Rather than crawl under a low bus with minimal clearance to setup a hand jack and pump by hand, this allows you to stay safely to the side of the vehicle and insert the jack under the jack point. Measure carefully.

It has three different height adaptors, but the actual range of lift with any given adaptor is not that great (because the jack is fairly stubby). So the process of lifting something to about 17″ is rather tedious — lift and block, let it down on blocks, change adaptor, lift again.

Even had to place the jack on blocks once. It lifts fast enough that you can see the vehicle move, but it takes more than my little compressor can keep up with so it is a lift, wait, lift, wait process.

Seems to hold up pretty well, but I would NEVER go under a vehicle held up by this alone (without proper cribbing – YouTube has some good videos) Some cons: 1) Assembly required (no big deal, just assembling the handle and adaptor rack mainly) 2) Air trigger can lock in on position.

I consider this a slight safety hazard. It tends to lock even when you aren’t touching it, so once had the jack start lifting when I connected it to air even before I was ready to pull the trigger. 3) Would be nice to have more lifting range with a given adaptor if it were possible without raising the minimum height.

22 ton air hydraulic jack This check works as described. The instructions in the manual are pathetic. The quality is very good and the various interchangeable tips that go in the Jack are very good. It seems to be very well-made and very heavy duty and sturdy.

I would definitely buy this jack again, it was durable, and it is just what I needed. I would highly recommend this jack to anyone, who needs too lift heavy things. I bought this jack about two weeks ago, and it does lift heavy equipment with no issues.
